See for yourself just how “tolerant” they are when pro-life group Pointers for Life put up a display of 4,000 crosses symbolizing murdered fetuses on campus at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Students at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point butted heads Thursday after an anti-abortion organization planted 4,000 white crosses on campus to symbolize aborted fetuses and a student responded by pulling hundreds of them out of the ground. The display, sponsored by Pointers for Life and planted on Isadore Street outside the Health Enhancement Center, is called “Cemetery of the Innocents” and features crosses and anti-abortion and religious signs, one of which reads “Seek Jesus.”The group has come to expect minor vandalism each time it displays the exhibit, but students were shocked when Roderick King pulled up many of the crosses in protest.
“It’s just so disrespectful, and it’s disappointing that this comes from UWSP students. I’ve always thought of this campus as a tolerant place. … Someone made these (crosses) with their own hands,” said Pointers for Life member Tracey Oudenhoven.
King eventually left the site of the display after speaking with Protective Services officials, but he later returned to protest. King said his anger was not just politically charged, but also related to the anonymity of the exhibit.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - At least 82 U.S. youths have died since 1995 engaging in “the choking game” in which they try to experience a fleeting “high” by cutting off the oxygen supply to the brain, U.S. health officials said on Thursday.
An unknown number of youths, mostly boys, are taking part in the practice in which they strangle themselves with their hands or a noose or have someone else strangle them, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in a report.
“They hope to get a cool and dreamy feeling, as they’ve described it,” said Robin Toblin of the CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, who led the report.
I just love when kids are selfless enough to save us all the trouble of having to deal with them as crackpot adults, mental illness cases, or socially retarded liberals.
Snoop ranting about this Winehouse chick, popular culture… so what else is new?
Tuesday, February 12th, 2008
America’s next top model? Singing sensation? Trailer court junkie?
If you are an Amy Winehouse fan, don’t read, but then again I doubt that anyone who peeps this blog could possible be a fan of this white crackhead drug fiendI watched some of the Grammy Awards; Mrs. Snoop was able to tolerate far more of it than I could. I tried to watch the performance of this Amy chick; I have read some amusing stories about her recently. As I’m typing this I started to say the obligatory “I can’t understand how people, bla, bla bla, totally amazed bla bla bla that a person, bla bla bla who is a self destructive, ugly crackhead skank can be so celebrated in the music world.
She is exceedingly untalented, skinny, just ugly, and perpetually fucked up.
Our society continues to amaze me at the type of skanks, skeezers, ratheads, checkenheads and bums we prop up and make stars out of.
This Winehouse skank was initially denied a U.S. visa to perform live at the Grammy’s due to the “use and abuse of narcotics”. This was subsequently reversed but not in time for her to perform at the Grammy’s in person. Instead she was “forced” to perform from London.
She, as is Paris Hilton, is rewarded for her less than stellar behavior, basically letting her know that her abuses are fine and that she can and will become even more famous by simply snorting some more power and adding a few more tattoos to her bony ass body.
I read that during a recent concert of hers, the bitch spat at fans while they exited during the show. She got pissed, wacking her own head with the microphone when she kept forgetting the lyrics to her own damm songs!.
Wait, you mean fans of hers paid money to see this skank, knowing that she likely never performs sober or not drug induced and they got mad when she acted “normally” in her mind? I love it!
As this society continues to degrade I recognize that many artists do bizarre and different things to make a name for themselves, but bizarre and different is a long way from drunk, stoned and obnoxious.
But forget about that, the bitch is not even remotely talented yet we celebrate her lifestyle and mediocre talent by giving her awards and finding a way for her to perform before a national audience. Amazing!
It’s the same thing with this Heath Ledger dude. He assumes room temperature from an “accidental” overdose of drugs yet the public feels sorry for him. “He had such promise as an actor” or “We are going to miss him in the movies”. No we won’t, he was a fucken drug fiend too, and his demise was inevitable.
Making a goddamm saint out of some prescription junkie white dude yet he is no different than a crackhead in the hood who “accidentally” overdoses and ends up with a tag on his toe as Leroy or Lekisha Doe in the morgue.
However I guess it explains these young morons screaming and crying at Obama rallies or Hillary’s supporters who swear that her presidency will bring “change” or a “new direction.”
I guess that if you believe that some skank like Winehouse is “talented” then you too would think that Obama or Hillary is “qualified” to be president.
It makes you cringe when you think about the voting age being 18.
This is just sad… at least to me, but I’m a crankly cynical bastard…

I found this picture while reading a post on THIS blog.
Now I’m hardly a playa hater, although I am not destined to be a wealthy, famous or infamous individual, it is increasing disturbing to me that human beings today seemingly more and more each passing day give such reverence to “star” figures in society.I totally understand that this is not new; I’m just astonished at these fawning star crazed Obama crowds, drooling over a man that has yet to accomplish a damm thing.
I have always believed that the loftier the status you grant an individual that you indeed become a lesser individual on the inside.
I remember reading a slightly disturbing article, at least to me, some time ago, here is a sample:
Thomas Jefferson’s famous “defining of America” phrase, “All men are created equal,” is not entirely accurate. While all Jefferson intended to state was that all people should be treated fairly with human rights (which is true), the statement itself has connotations which cannot be accepted. There are certain people who deserve more respect and authority than others. Society needs to know that there are boundaries and limits. We need to give our seat on the bus to an older person out of respect. We need to stand up for sages, elders, and even parents as they enter the room.If “everyone is equal,” then we run the risk of making no one equal. We will produce youngsters who laugh at the elderly and disobey their teachers and principals because they will feel “equal” with authority figures.
If “everyone is equal,” we will lose respect for others since we are as equal as they. We will only be concerned with our own selves which will inevitably make it impossible to attain holiness. Holiness means refraining from indulgences and one cannot do that if he is self-centered.
Through revering parents, we learn to have a sense of awe. Once a person integrates respect for his parents into his personality, this attitude will serve as a springboard for revering God.
The words of some egotistical Baptist preacher, the words of someone who demands respect from his followers, give reverence to me because through me there is God!
Maybe some of you may agree with this premise, but I never have. As much as I loved and respected my parents I certainly was not “in awe” of them.
I respect the power, love and guidance that I believe God provides me.
God created all of us to strive to be “great” to use the gifts God provides us to be the best that we can be. In my estimation that can’t happen if we hold other human beings to such a lofty mental, emotional and psychological status.
I am mindful that my faith in God provides me some measure of mental and spiritual nourishment and comfort.
If as we Christians believe, that we are all indeed children of God then I believe that no man is above me.
Yes, I would grant a seat to an elderly person or treat a person of authority with respect. However that respect however must be earned.
Respect is certainly due to those who have through various educational, economic and societal achievements, personal sacrifice, and personal hardship or sacrificed a part of themselves to improving society seeking no public adoration.
Politics is an ego driven endeavor. Anyone who goes into politics claiming to want to “change” society for the better always does so with an agenda and their legacy in mind.
There is nothing noble about creating “change” in a society on the backs of the people and the forced extortion of taxpayer revenues.
Now if you had shitty parents and they never taught you any morals or basic human respect then you then are screwed.
I have never been able to comprehend individuals’ rabid obsession to singers, rappers and rock stars, movie icons and sports figures. I cringe at both parents and children’s’ obsession over that Hannah Montana girl.
I certainly grant the respect earned by some for either the work they have done and contributions they have made to the greater society at large, but to hold someone up to such a lofty status as these individuals have for Obama when he has accomplished nothing calls into question the mental stability and the self esteem of our overall society.
As I look at this photo and see these people clamoring over Obama as if he is some freaking messiah, I honestly wonder, where the reverence and adulation comes from.
Obama will never make a payroll; he will never create a single job, he can’t single handedly rebuild New Orleans, cure the world of terrorists or Cancer, he will never be able to prevent a single rape or murder, he will never be able to heat anybody’s home, educated a child or accelerate our exploration into space.
There are two things I know about Obama; 1) He campaigned and raised money for a white racist segregationist who still refer to black folks as Niggers. 2) He in his recent revelation that he will support granting drivers licenses to illegal Mexicans, he will pander to any racial demographic to get votes.
I was watching again the TV series Rome, and back in the day, the people subjected themselves to the worship of countless idols and gods, in one moment praying for spiritual healing and good fortune, the next praying for the death and dismemberment of their enemies.
We obviously still worship false idols today. You would think that with the advancement of our society and the speed of information this society would be impervious to hollow showy rhetoric or politically preachy oratory.
Seemingly everyday this world creates another fraudulent leader, another faux religion to worship, a new scheme to instantly provide wealth or weight loss or a new instant but certainly temporary singing sensation.
Far too many of us are looking to others for greatness and psychological fulfillment, tis a very sad time in this exceedingly crazy world indeed.
Its’ just cranky ass Snoop ranting about “change?”
Tuesday, January 8th, 2008
I did not get a chance to address it directly a few days ago, but I want to rant a bit about Chris Matthews cry baby bitching diatribe on the You Tube clip I posted a few days ago, and listening to all of these suck ass Democrats first in Iowa and now in New Hampshire and beyond as they bitch and moan about “change.”
I thought about this, and you know that unfortunately Matthews as big and tired of a windbag as he is, apparently speaks for a significant number of confused, lazy, tired and emotionally ignorant individuals.
I watched some of the candidates and some of their chat fests with the poor and hopeless residents of Iowa who followed the candidates around begging a pleading with these politicians begging them to help them make their lives better, to make their lives meaningful, to give them hope.
This particular crop of White House hopefuls is the perfect group to appease the common folk, seemingly devoid of common fucken sense and obviously was raised with a welfare nanny ass mentality.
No matter how many times I bitch and moan about it, I continue to be flabbergasted at just how many people truly believe that the President of the United States can fundamentally change their lives and even more laughable Washington.
Enter stage right the likes of Mike Suckabee; you had a great number of these Iowa Evangelical Christian sycophants who do what most Haleluliah arm waving isolationists do get sucked in by a smooth talking preacher man experienced in the gift of delivering platitudes and happy phrases.
I suspect that these people enjoyed attending the Suckabee Iowa chat fests, disguised come to Jesus and fake hope sessions, with a hint of send me to the White House.
This man who comes out of nowhere has in such a short time endeared himself to a significant number of obviously confused faux Republicans and the media.
These Evangelical zealots who put Suckabee over the top in Iowa I bet envision a White House with tent revival rallies in the rose garden, minus those pesky racist Mormons, and those Muslims and those annoying people who knock on your door on Saturday mornings.
New Hampshire with their “independents” are not quite as taken with Suckabee’s verbal diatribes have opted apparently to give John McCain (another Republican sellout) the nod.
McCain just as most of the Republican field are filled with sellouts and political compromise whores who are determined to abandon true conservative values to appease a bunch of gubment tit sucking cry baby liberals.
Ah shit, I’m just cranky and bitching, but if someone, anyone, can explain to me how a president; can put food on your table, can get you a job, can educate you, can make you go to school, not beat on your wife and children or at the very least respect your wife and neighbor.
How can a president, reduce crime on the streets and violence in the classrooms, smooth race relations, discourage the crack head from taking that next hit, convince a meth junkies to turn their lives around, convince a crazed dude from carving up and consuming his girlfriend, encourage economic development in communities throughout this nation, make an individual take better care of themselves or even force our airlines from holding us hostage for hours stranded on a runway.
They can’t people, a president never has been able to nor successfully eradicate these issues unless I missed something.
Despite all of our talk about all of our perceived “American” pride, ingenuity, resourcefulness, originality, creativity, more and more during these annoying and shallow election cycles a large mirror is constantly put in front of our faces and the reflection is not something I care to stare at.
A country that is adept at falling for ridiculous fashion trends, annoying verbal ticks “like” like; its obsession with paid partygoer skanks and emotionally unstable former pop icons is primed perfectly to absorb the array of verbal diarrhea and showbiz platitudes today’s modern politics has evolved into.
All of these people bitching about the new buzzword change, despite not knowing exactly what the fuck that is suppose to mean, no matter who is anointed the presidency, these people, these change seekers I suspect will fail to seek change in their own lives and resurrect their own miserable existences.
The crackhead, the couch potato, the wife beater, the internet child solicitor, the office gossip, the racist, the bitter, the confused, the over eater, the social retard, the obnoxious neighbor and many others will go back to life as usual.
Ah the clamor for change in Washington is a simple cry for that symbolic (necessary) change far too many of us refuse to make in our own lives.
In addition to a thrice-weekly column, his writings on politics and culture have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Weekly Standard, National Review, New York Press, Christian Science Monitor, Jerusalem Post, Toronto Globe & Mail, The Hill, Sports Illustrated Online, and numerous other publications.
I read this piece and I had to doublecheck to see if it didn’t come from The Onion. I find it hard to believe that this can be happening in the United States. What will come next? Hauling students off to the gulag who refuse to be “re-educated?”
The University of Delaware subjects students in its residence halls to a shocking program of ideological reeducation that is referred to in the university’s own materials as a “treatment” for students’ incorrect attitudes and beliefs.
The Orwellian program requires the approximately 7,000 students in Delaware’s residence halls to adopt highly specific university-approved views on issues ranging from politics to race, sexuality, sociology, moral philosophy, and environmentalism. The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) is calling for the total dismantling of the program, which is a flagrant violation of students’ rights to freedom of conscience and freedom from compelled speech…The university’s views are forced on students through a comprehensive manipulation of the residence hall environment, from mandatory training sessions to “sustainability” door decorations.
Students living in the university’s eight housing complexes are required to attend training sessions, floor meetings, and one-on-one meetings with their Resident Assistants (RAs). The RAs who facilitate these meetings have received their own intensive training from the university, including a “diversity facilitation training” session at which RAs were taught, among other things, that “[a] racist is one who is both privileged and socialized on the basis of race by a white supremacist (racist) system. The term applies to all white people (i.e., people of European descent) living in the United States, regardless of class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality.”
The university suggests that at one-on-one sessions with students, RAs should ask intrusive personal questions such as “When did you discover your sexual identity?” Students who express discomfort with this type of questioning often meet with disapproval from their RAs, who write reports on these one-on-one sessions and deliver these reports to their superiors. One student identified in a write-up as an RA’s “worst” one-on-one session was a young woman who stated that she was tired of having “diversity shoved down her throat.”
Right Voices: “You have the right to free speech as long as the liberals approve of the message. You can have free thought, just as long as you think what the liberals want you to think.”
Mac’s Mind: “Nevertheless, it’s not so amazing that this type of thought policing happens at our colleges, but it is amazing that the dumbasses at this school are blatant about it.”
Well after I finished laughing at the “Redneck Rash” story I regrouped and started focusing on this latest noose incident at Columbia.
Y’know I started to try and write something more “radical” to condemn the rednecks who perpetrated this latest racial outrage, but you know I decided that I really don’t care that much about it.
Now don’t get me wrong, the images of nooses being hung around the nation is a sobering one, and a reminder that racism is alive and well, bla, bla, bla. However I see racism and racist behavior the same as any other mental health condition.
C’mon, a person, in today’s world being a racist leads a sad and lonely existence.
People who harbor that kind of contempt and hatred towards another human being simply on the basis of skin color are mentally ill. In addition - and this I know has been said countless times - typically the racists tend to be the less educated and isolated. So they don’t have much power.
Don’t get me wrong. Racism is alive and well. Folks, we are not that
far removed from the days of white folks spitting on children walking to school, segregated facilities, rampant discriminatory practices.
Fast forward to a discussion on Meet the Press a few months ago; during a panel discussion of the 2008 presidential election on the July 15 edition of NBC’s Meet the Press, syndicated columnist Robert Novak made the following statement:
“Republicans are very pessimistic about 2008. When you talk to them off the record, they don’t see how they can win this thing. And then they think for a minute, and only the Democratic Party, with everything in their favor, would say that, ‘OK, this is the year either to have a woman or an African-American to break precedent, to do things the country has never done before.’ And it gives the Republicans hope.”
Now of course Novak’s words were dismissed by the typically all white news panel that Tim Russert assembles every week.
Now those who read my blog should remember, (I have to find it) the post when Obama first announced running for president, and I said that his candidacy is a farce, he has ZERO chance of being the Democratic nominee and he has no chance of being elected president. All of the fundraising he generated was a smoke screen simply for him to be the alternative to Hillary and her stranglehold on the Negro voting block.
I also said that there will not be a black president in my lifetime or my grandchildren’s lifetime. I am Black, but I believe this to be
true. Black folks are simply viewed too negatively by far too many
white folks in this country. There are still too many pockets of rednecks that have virtually no contact with black folks, so at the risk of being repetitive, why would they vote for a black man when they haven’t ever befriended a Negro, worked with a Negro or worshiped with a Negro?
However what folks typically forget is that most of people isolate ourselves in some way or another. Whether it’s our church affiliation, social circles, kids have been self segregating themselves in schools forever.
Now as for me I have said here many times I have some really strong prejudices, but I deal with them and I don’t let them poison my mind and alter how I live my life.
However as distracting and as disturbing as the noose incidents may be to some people, we should not kid ourselves, many are hanging emotional and psychological nooses up in our own heads every damm day on all sides of the pigment divide. Whether it’s Mexican’s against Gringos and Negros and vice versa, Asians who remain distant from blacks, black folks and their angst against Korean’s, redneck who don’t like anybody not to mention class divide.
Folks, things racial front are fucked up everywhere; unfortunately way too many people have this need to be perpetually racially angry about something. Hence the mass hysteria in Jena.
Many of these noose incidents are simply meant incite a simple reaction, like shouting fire in a movie theatre just to see hysteria ensue.
Other of these white supremacist types who do this dumb shit, do it symbolically to get their dicks hard and because they know it gets under black folks’ skin.
The third leg unfortunately are the incidents like at Duke a few years back as mentioned in the video piece below where these black students hung a Barbie doll from a tree with a note saying “Duke has not changed.” Dumb ass militant black folks who - like I said before - need to be perpetually outraged about something, in order to entice other black folks to “get behind the cause”, “get whitey” and all of the other nonsense that goes with it. Its how Sharpton and Jackson stayed employed and the driving force behind many of the thought processes still prevalent amongst far too many black folks.
This is not mentioned to excuse rednecks, however let’s face the fact that the white people who would deny you employment, a bank or housing loan, engage in housing discrimination, gentrification, isolate themselves in exclusive country clubs and a whole host of other human infractions are not hanging nooses from fucken doorknobs and trees.
Racism unfortunately has evolved to be more refined, dignified. Not the symbolic trifling gestures nooses in trees or on trucks, confederate flags on 18 wheelers, ball caps and at NASCAR races or painted swastikas on overpasses and churches represent. Only retarded monkeys engage in that crap and it’s a sure sign of a massive inferiority complex.
Graeme Frost and the perils of Democrat poster child abuse

Deception is perfectly ok if it helps the children. From Michelle Malkin
The most buzzworthy story on the right side of the blogosphere this weekend concerned young Graeme Frost, the 12-year-old child severely injured in a terrible car accident that also left his sister with permanent disabilities.
Graeme Frost was propped up by Democrats desperate to avert the president’s veto of S-CHIP legislation, which would have massively expanded the government health care entitlement. The Dems are trying to muster up enough votes to override President Bush’s veto. They’ve scheduled a vote for Oct. 18.
The boy gave the Democratic radio address last week, written for him by Senate Democrat staffers, and made several Beltway lobbying appearances with top Dem leaders. (Listen to Graeme’s address here.) The accident was horrible. The children deserve much sympathy and compassion. But legislation-by-anecdote is a tricky thing, and should only be done when the anecdotes actually hold some water. It turns out–as it does with so many health care stories pimped by the Democrats and the MSM–that there is much more to the Frosts’ story than meets the eye.
The family is not as destitute as the MSM has made them out to be. FreeRepublic member icwhatudo asks the tough questions the mainstream media won’t ask. Like why a “working family” in need of government-subsidized health care can afford to send two children to a $20,000-a-year-private school. And more (go to the post for more embedded links)

Students In Blackface “Jena 6″ Reenactment
Photos, video of “attack” posted, then yanked from Facebook page OCTOBER 2–A group of white Louisiana college students dressed in blackface and reenacted the “Jena 6″ assault while a friend snapped photos and videotaped the staged attack, images that were later posted to one of the participant’s Facebook page. The photos, which you’ll find on the following pages, were taken late last month on the bank of the Ouachita River, where students from the University of Louisiana at Monroe giddily acted out the racial attack.
The photos (and the short video clip at right) were posted to the Facebook page of Kristy Smith, a freshman nursing student. The album of images was entitled “The Jena 6 on the River.” In the video, three students with mud smeared across their bodies stomp on a fourth student, while two of the participants are heard to say, “Jena 6.” One man can also be heard saying, “Niggers put the noose on.” After the video and photos on Smith’s page were discovered by fellow students, she removed the material and made her Facebook page private. Smith, who did not respond to a TSG e-mail sent to her school address, apologized for the images in several recent Facebook postings. “We were just playin n the mud and it got out of hand. I promise i’m not racist. i have just as many black friends as i do white. And i love them to death,” she wrote.
She added in a later message that her friends “were drinking” and things “got a lil out of hand.” When faced with heated online criticism from fellow students, Smith yanked the photos and video from Facebook, but not before one student downloaded the photos and another videotaped the video directly from her computer screen (and then posted the clip on YouTube). (5 pages)
BLACKFACEBOOK: College students in Texas, Connecticut, and South Carolina have previously posted similar racially charged images on Facebook.
This is gonna piss some of you off, but shit you know I don’t give a fuck what y’all think.
Reason number….countless, why racism isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, I see way too much of this stupid shit from young white people. I’m not delusional about the future of this society, yes this are better bla, bla, bla but I just see a racist backlash from more and more young white kids.
It was one thing back in the Jim Crow days, when young white kids were taught to hate darkies because idiot ass white folks would teach their kids that black people will give them a rash if they talked to them and other inane crap.
However as ghetto minstrel behavior is celebrated by the white media world, these idiot fuck kids find denigrating an entire race armed with those negative images is ok and funny. Aw we was just kidding, we love Nigg…er uh bla…er uh Afro-Americans, oh shit African-Americans.
I watched this old racist bastard on Dr. Phil last night (I’ll post sometime) bitching about the fact that we need to be separated and segregated like in the good ole days, shit I expect that out of old white people. I still say the majority of white people in their late 60’s and 70’s still wish that Negros would settle back on plantations, but the young people of today are equally as ignorant and as racists, fortunately many are dumbasses, and are not shy about using the internet to post the silliness their grandparents routinely engaged in.
Have you heard about the latest “controversy” involving Rush Limbaugh that has been made up from scratch by Media Matters and relentlessly promoted by the left side of the blogosphere? Well, no worries, I’ll tell you all about it.Here’s what Media Matters is claiming Rush Limbaugh said, Limbaugh: Service members who support U.S. withdrawal are “phony soldiers.”
Now, you might actually conclude from reading that headline that Rush Limbaugh said that, Service members who support U.S. withdrawal are “phony soldiers.”
Actually, he didn’t.
Once again, here’s the headline, from Media Matters,
Limbaugh: Service members who support U.S. withdrawal are “phony soldiers.”
Continue reading here what Rush Limbaugh actually said, during a conversation with a caller. Also go to his site Rushlimbaugh.com if you REALLY give a shit.
Ah hell I was not sure I wanted to post this, but since dude on Right Wing did a piece on this “phony” outrage, I figured my Poop readers should get the 411.
You know while on one hand I really getting tired of Media Matters and their blatant distortion of the facts on shit they have on their site, I kinda understand why they do what they do and why they are so successful at smear.
I heard on Rush’s show some of the comments made by some liberal Democrats denouncing what Rush said, I always have to remind myself that Democrats and liberals are never interested in truth, it’s simply about winning and Media Matters knows that the majority of their kook constituents only priority is getting their people in office at all costs.
Now don’t get me wrong, the purpose of this blog is to post stuff that interests me and my political views and yes, I want “my side to win.”
But I have never knowingly posted 411 here that I knew was bullshit just so I can make a fucking cheep political point.
Democrats must use deception to stay in power, but the scary thing is it works like a charm.
I’m dumbfounded at how many websites posted bullshit about O’Reilly and how they took his comments out of context when after reading further, few if any actually read or heard the comments themselves.
I’m perplexed at the vast differences in simple logic between the right blogsphere and the left.
Blogger on the right, in most cases go out of their way to get to the bottom of a story or issue and actively seek to get as much firm details on an issue as possible and the rarely comment and post shit unless they have their fucken facts straight.
Media Matters has these crackpot liberals by the mental ballz. It’s apparent that liberals can’t process information unless it has been pissed on by Media Matters.
Here are a few examples:
(link) Media Matters for America is calling attention to a Rush Limbaugh rant from his show on Wednesday in which he dismisses U.S. troops, including those now serving in Iraq, who disagree with President Bush’s stay-until-victory strategy as “phony soldiers.” And my colleague Jeff Fecke at Blog of the Moderate Left wonders whether those, including Sen. Norm Coleman, who were outraged by the MoveOn.org ad that was insufficiently respectful toward Gen. David Petraeus, will bring equal energy to denouncing Limbaugh for being insufficiently respectful toward some of the troops.
*********
(link) Following the MoveOn non-controversy, some of our local dingbats went on a largely unnoticed mini-crusade to get WA-08 Congressional candidate Darcy Burner to condemn the anti-war organization’s ad. Now that Rush Limbaugh has said something that was considerably more offensive to our men and women in uniform, we’re certain that Mark Gardner and the rest of the fair and balanced wingnutosphere will demand WA-08 Congressman Dave Reichert condemn Limbaugh’s remarks.
Earlier today Republican hero and recovering drug addict Rush Limbaugh slandered thousands of American soldiers who are risking their lives overseas as “phony soldiers.” Why? Solely because they question the rationale for the Iraq War.
*****
(link) How about leading conservative host Rush Limbaugh, a man who has regularly interviewed the president, vice-president, and numerous other conservative Republican luminaries?
During the September 26 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, Rush Limbaugh called service members who advocate U.S. withdrawal from Iraq “phony soldiers.”
From the DCCC:
Chairman Chris Van Hollen Condemns Rush Limbaugh’s Outrageous Comment that Soldiers Who Support Withdrawing From Iraq Are “Phony Soldiers”
“Rush Limbaugh’s personal attack on our men and women in uniform is reprehensible. It minimizes the sacrifice our troops in Iraq and their families are making and has no place in the public discourse. Rush Limbaugh owes our military and their families an apology for his hurtful comments that minimize their service to our country.”
******
(link) John Amato: “I’m calling on the Senate to pass an amendment or uphold their latest one and condemn Rush Limbaugh’s cowardly acts on our troops! Soldiers from the 82nd Airborne in Iraq wrote a NY Times op-ed—criticizing the war in Iraq, and had the bravery to suggest that it was time to develop an exit strategy. Two of them just died. Are they phonies, Rush? Where’s the “sense of the Senate” on this outrage?
Let me be clear, I don’t give a shit that you oppose the U.S. being in Iraq, or oppose our Middle East policy, or how we use our troops or what our military priorities should be.
When I read lefty blog I’m interested in the discourse many provide and of course I don’t agree with much of it, but I think it’s important for me to be knowledgeable on issues and to remain grounded in my viewpoints I have an obligation (to myself) to be informed, understand and comprehend opposing viewpoints without filters. Whether it’s Media Matters or the MSM, John Stewart, Keith Olberman on the left, Newsbusters, Rush, O’Reilly on the right.
Especially since I dedicate so much time keeping up this paltry blog
Through my extensive blog reading on the right and left, watching the MSM, watching a lot of You Tube and taking in countless other political information sources I have a pretty fair grasp on the world around me and one thing that Rush taught me when I first started listening to his show (from day one) and why no other on air pundit comes close to him is he encourages his listeners to seek out the truth. Don’t simply take his word on issues, read and hear the bullshit on the left for yourself.
You should never be afraid at seeking opposing viewpoints and listening to opposing viewpoints.
This is why people who say they don’t watch Fox News are cowards and tells you everything you need to know about them intellectually.
I would never EVER, encourage anyone NOT to listen to a MSM network, a liberal talk show host, or a source like the NY Times, it’s not even logical.
Far too many people are just too fucken lazy to seek the truth on issues and choose to allow their minds to be filtered.
This is not about “standing up for” Rush, dude is a fucken multi-millionaire, he could care less what I think.
This is about simple honesty. If the goal of the left and lefty blogsphere is simply to WIN then by all means distort, lie, manipulate, conceal. Ignorance is obviously bliss in the liberal world.
Let’s say you’re at Logan International Airport, the very same airport in which half of the 9-11 hijackers met on that fateful day to begin their carnage. You’re minding your own business when someone walks by holding something in their hand that looks like C4 that is hooked up to something that looks like a circuit board on the back of their hoodie by a bunch of wires. The words “Socket To Me” are written on the back of the hoodie. She’s also making a spectacle of herself while at the airport.
What would your first reaction be?
MIT’s Star Simpson did just that, for “Career Day” at school (she had been wearing the ensemble to campus for the previous few days). She was then shocked when she was promptly surrounded by airport security wielding machine guns, and then found herself in jail.
Simpson told authorities she was “surprised” she landed in jail. After all, she wrote on her Web site that she spends her free time “saving the planet from evil villains” and loves “crazy ideas.”There is absolutely nothing artistic about scaring people in public places, even if her father, Hugh Simpson, told the Maui News in Star’s native Hawaii that he was “proud” of his daughter. Then he boasted that his daughter went to a park after she was freed on $750 bail to “stretch her arms because she had been in a small room for hours and hours.”I hope she gets used to it because stupidity is not an excuse for criminality; an “art project” to attract prospective employers that terrorizes perfect strangers should certainly be a deterrent from Star Simpson ever landing a job.
But, apparently, MIT does not see it that way. It seems that Simpson had worn her bizarre ensemble for days before she showed up at Logan airport with it. All part of Career Day, she later told cops. No one on campus thought it prudent to tell her to take it off, especially considering that it is just days past the six-year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
MIT needs to throw Star Simpson off campus because her “crazy ideas” - such as wearing a hoax device at the airport where two of the planes left on that dark morning when 3,000 people were murdered in this country - are unacceptable. Her parents, who did not react with any sort of responsibility for the actions of their daughter, should forfeit any cash they paid for her tuition thus far.
Until the schools are taken to task in this town for allowing stupidity, such as thinking a fake bomb attached to a sweatshirt is art appropriate for Career Day, hardworking people in this state will continue to pay the price for over-privileged out-of-towners to use our city as their personal playgrounds.
The recent assault, torture and arrest of University of Florida student Andrew Myer by campus cops is but the latest example of what has become an increasingly frequent phenomenon in the United States of America. When ass-kissing chickenshit David Petraeus lied his ass off before Congress about the failed “surge”, capitol hill police tackled and arrested a pentecostal minister, damaging his ankle in the process. His “crime”? Trying to get in to watch and listen to the hearings.
As reported in the Nation magazine, sixty-year old Carol Trainer — a Vietnam veteran — was arrested and hauled away as the mayor of Louisville, Kentucky sat and glared at her.
Last November, a student at UCLA was assaulted, tasered and arrested by campus cops, for failing to show his identification. A blogger who wrote about this abuse of power also pointed out how, in Houston, Texas that same month, a bunch of striking union workers were trampled by police on horseback, arrested, and subjected to what amounts to torture.
If you think America isn’t undergoing the same slide into fascist dictatorship today as Germany did in the 1930s, you’re kidding yourself. Each of the six examples of police brutality I cited, all of them against nonviolent students and protesters, has taken place within a roughly ten-month period. But where is the outrage in the mainstream media? Why aren’t the steps of the Capitol Building and the gates of the White House being flooded with protesters demanding accountability for abuses of executive power that has so permeated society that it infects our local police departments?
And therein lies one reason why this is happening. Although there has been some dissent, some outrage, it has been largely confined to the blogosphere and political discussion forums. People dare not stand up publicly against these police state tactics to silence dissent. They dare not risk being beaten down. Another reason, pointed out by the Rude Pundit, is that there are those in American society who not only actually approve of this shit, but go so far as to cheer it on! “Yeah!” they think. “Show them what they get for stepping out of line!”
Those two reasons, more than the brutal assaults on people and the First Amendment, are why America is devolving into a bad replay of Nazi Germany. The lack of national outrage, to the point we do something about it; and the support of it by mindless groupthinkers in society who are so stupid they think it’s a good thing that we’re being subjected to tyranny.
God help us all.
Warning! Snoop rant:
Ok this is funny, after reading this it reminded me of Ahmadinejad’s recently completed incoherent propaganda rant.
All hell, how many times and how many ways can I say “liberals have issues!”
Again this is an example of not necessarily giving a shit about what this moronic dude has to say only to point out the exorbitant level of ill logic exhibited by these people.
The bad thing about the Daily Kos site these days is there are so many of these people writing diaries and I believe that in order to get noticed they write crazier and zanier entries ranting like little children in order to get attention.
It’s one thing to have a valid political point, it is quite another to pull out the vestiges of a truly evil time period where the shadow of a murderous dictator loomed over the entire world.
Here we have some young jackass supposedly educating the rest of us dolts, no doubt living with his parents or barricaded in some college dorm or dank dark apartment complete with video games galore and no doubt the latest Halo, stale pizza, cigarette butts acting as carpeting reeking with the stench of your typical discharge accident from too much alcohol consumption.
I’m a 43 year old black man and it would be disingenuous of me to write entries talking about the evils that existed back in the true Jim Crow era, whites only signs, segregated hotels, restaurants, drinking fountains or to try and process the pending threat that was Hitler and communism.
How the fuck could some young mentally challenged individual even begin to process the notion that America is slipping into this fascist state, when I just finished watching some pinhead moronic dictator speak at one of this nations most prestigious universities not to mention that the event was simulcast on FOX NEWS!
The University of Florida student was a prankster and a typical college aged jackass, brash, arrogant spoiled pricks. I see all too often these self-absorbed frat boy sorostitutes types wandering the university grounds, cell phones stuck to the ear paying little or no attention to the world around them or that car about the strike them.
This generation of emotionally challenged individuals find it difficult to respect those outside of their entourage.
As much as I detest John Kerry, he and that audience deserved respect, but college aged pranksters have hindered free speech by acting like a bunch of ignorant fucks which is precisely why few right leaning types venture to college campuses anymore.
Foolish and moronic behavior is the norm.
Here in Lawrence we have an institution where national and world leaders not to mention prominent political figures and Pulitzer Prize winning columnists regularly speak and the only time you see students attending is when they are offered “extra credit” or some incentive for attending.
When the speaker does not fit the typical liberal ideology the talk is ether ignored or some phony protest with the stereotypical passing out of “fact” sheets with erroneous information.
Liberals are not interested in acquiring knowledge only promoting their twisted spin on the world and crying when the would does not fit in their little bow wrapped gift box.
I’ll give you one example: Recently while speaking to a student, very nice young lady, smart, motivated in the process of getting her masters, we were discussing Iraq and setting aside the particulars the point I want to focus on was she said she “hated George Bush for getting us into this war.”
Now I never want to get into a debate on the semantics of whether or not we should or should not be in Iraq with folks, what I always focus on when speaking to a young person is “when does your history on Iraq begin?”
You see to me if you want to tell me we should not have been in Iraq, and only want to focus on the history while G Dub has been in office and totally ignore anything prior to G Dub taking office, there is nothing to discuss.
This young lady is 24 and knows nothing about what was said prior to Bush’s presidency.
There are tons of clips on You Tube feature Mrs. Bill’s ever changing stance on Iraq and virtually every Democrat morphing views on the issue.
All I asked of her was to truly study the issue. While listening to her all she could do was regurgitate Democrat clichés, she was ridiculously clueless on the issue other that what she read in the New York Times (she said it) or what was discussed in her political science class.
The point is do liberal choose to be ignorant of all the facts. Many choose not to acknowledge what was said before or simply choose to only put political blame on a policy that no one individual can carry out.
Liberals selective ranting is all political. Think about it. If you believe in gay marriage and you somehow think that by berating the current president on an issue that you really don’t give a shit about, can get you closer to electing an individual with your political values, then why not join the “Iraq is wrong, impeach Bush” bullshit.
Who cares if pussy ass Democrats doesn’t have the balls to stop funding.
Bottom line when you read liberals rant about whatever, you always have to ask yourself what is their real motive?
Referring to a 4 star general as an “ass-kissing chickenshit” tells you everything you need to know about the absence of logic that exists in the minds of most young liberals today.
This dude is unlikely to give a shit about the growing fascist state of America while attending a pep rally for his favorite college sports team or licking the tequila and salt off the stomach of some skank in a bar.
Keep in mind that the Democrats actually courts this twisted moronic demographic.
Poll: Young voters disenchanted with Republican party “who cares!?”
Monday, August 27th, 2007
.
Two larger-than-life politicians, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ronald Reagan, charged into the California governor’s office with the help of young voters, many of whom were drawn to the Republican Party by a message of sunny optimism.
But what those two very different Republican politicians did to attract millions of young adults looks to be a feat the Grand Old Party may not repeat anytime soon - either in California or on the national level in the 2008 presidential election.
A Democracy Corps poll from the Washington firm of Greenberg Quinlan Rosner suggests voters ages 18 to 29 have undergone a striking political evolution in recent years.Young Americans have become so profoundly alienated from Republican ideals on issues including the war in Iraq, global warming, same-sex marriage and illegal immigration that their defections suggest a political setback that could haunt Republicans “for many generations to come,” the poll said.
There is more from this article here, but while reading I’m thinking to myself why I would give a fuck about what young people are thinking and how they feel in general about one particular political party over another, knowing the liberal media propaganda environment that currently exists.
“I think you have to be concerned when you have some (Republican) people who are saying that global warming is a hoax and that status quo for health care is acceptable,” said Adam Mendelsohn, the communications director for Schwarzenegger.
Duh, global warming IS a fucken hoax and only young people are dumb enough to promote this over hyped fraud. Thanks to K-12 public school brainwashing and fear mongering.
C’mon, what do young people care about, drinking, drugs, sex, cars, skank watching and American Idol.
The youth of today have been “brainwashed” by a youth-oriented liberal media and liberal blog sites to believe that Republicans can’t do anything right and that democrats always have the answer. This is why you see majorities for the Democrats on issues like terrorism or taxes. They just have an automatic reflex nowadays to spite Republicans on every damm thing.
Who populates journalism schools across the nation? Young liberals who say “I want to make a difference.” and they grow up to be old hippie liberals who say, “I’m going to change the world whether you like it or not!”
Young folks are (shockingly) disenchanted with the entire political system, hence the “south park Republican” and most of Ron Paul’s fanatical lunacy base.
They are not necessarily against conservative principles, they just have been conditioned, by Jon Stewart, Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, environmentalists’ wackos, university intellectual elite types, to believe GOP politicians “in particular” are the evil ones.
Young people obviously believe that the war in Iraq or ANY war is wrong and conflict is magically restored by fantasy diplomacy.
Global warming must be real because well history begins when you were born and most of these young folks bitching about global warming are too stupid to scan back just a few short years when idiot scientists told everyone that we would be freezing our assets off right now. They have effectively been brainwashed into this warped faux reality.
On same-sex marriage, why sure it’s logical to young left leaning types that we all should be free to marry whomever we wish and we all should just shut-up and respect those “rights”, plez.
And don’t get me started with illegal immigration, if white students started being affected by Mexicans grabbing college admission spots or young rural whites started seeing lower wage jobs scooped up by illegal immigrants they too would be bitching about “those people.”
I don’t know about y’all but I don’t formulate my political views based on poll numbers, media scrutiny, and peer pressure. And I would hope that my chosen elected officials would not do so either.
What this story does not point out that is more of a growing problem for Democrats is the exodus of the young black voter from the Democrat Party.
As many as 35% of younger black voters now identify as independent, rather than Democrat. Forty-seven percent of African Americans deserted the Democratic nominee in the 2005 New York City mayoral race to re-elect the Independent Republican Mike Bloomberg. Last year, 32% of Augusta, Georgia voters rejected a Democrat incumbent state legislator and cast ballots for the black independent Helen Blocker-Adams. Black America is no longer a political monolith. Traditional partisan politics have lost their appeal. (source)
So while articles like this one seek to publish the demise of the Republican Party because a few disenchanted young folks watch too much Olbermann, they better keep an eye on the growing scrutiny that people of color are beginning to voice against Democrats.
Back to the disgruntled youth, as far as I’m concerned Republican “leaders” who sacrifice principles to cater to young nitwits who have no intention on voting Republican anyway, simply need to consider switching political parties.
Many may state that there is not much difference between the two political parties, but anyone who is honest with themselves know there is a great deal of difference in ideology but those lines are blurred as politicians govern more with financial incentives in mind rather than core ideology.
To deny the existence of corrupt, money scamming politicians on both sides of the political isle has their head in the sand.
I’m more concerned about the engaged intelligent youth voter, rare I know.
Quick example: I was having a conversation with a “Young Democrat” about recent headlines concerning Obama.
Now keep in mind this young lady is suppose to be a BIG supporter of his.
While questioning her on his stance on some key issues she was hard pressed to give me specific details and had not REALLY focused on some of his recently expressed policy views.
I came to the conclusion that her focus was not on Obama and his ideology but how the support of his campaign can net her potential job results down the road. Supporting his candidacy was simply a resume builder and the equivalent of being in a sorority group.
I see way too many young people who simply find if fashionable to portray themselves knowledgeable in today’s political world but most of it is frankly superficial.
If they missed the latest Daily Show, they are not up on the day’s current events and don’t have what most would consider valid political views. “I don’t know why I like Democrats, they just seem nicer and more tolerant”
So as I said in the beginning, why would I give a fuck what young people are thinking, particularly when they don’t know what to think?
