McCain widens dialogue on LIBERAL blogs…another reason why I won’t vote for his tired ass!
Friday, May 16th, 2008
(article Link) Sen. John McCain’s presidential campaign is trying to tap a new audience of potential voters by taking his campaign message straight to liberal and nonpolitical issues-based blogs, which reach millions of readers but don’t often delve into conservative politics. The strategy was in full swing yesterday when Mr. McCain invited non-conservative bloggers to join his regular blogger conference call, just hours after he delivered a major speech previewing his war strategy and other priorities for a first presidential term.
It already has started a war among liberal bloggers over how to react to Mr. McCain’s overture.
In answering the first question on the call, Mr. McCain said his likely Democratic opponent, Sen. Barack Obama, lacks the judgment to be commander in chief, which set him up for a bruising from the readers at TalkingPointsMemo.com, a liberal-leaning site that joined in the call.
Blogger Greg Sargent said it amounted to “what may be [Mr. McCain’s] most direct attack yet on Barack Obama’s national security credentials.” But commenters were split: Some took aim at Mr. McCain, some said they were thankful for the intelligence on “what the enemy is planning,” and others lashed out at Mr. Sargent, saying he should have been harsher in evaluating Mr. McCain’s attack.
“This IS a Democratic blog, and as such, it would seem to me that there SHOULD be SOME bias with regards to how YOU report of McCain’s craziness, as opposed to treating his ranting and attacks with a sort of dignity they and he DO NOT deserve,” wrote one emphasis-abundant reader.
Mr. McCain’s campaign said the Web outreach is a logical extension of an attempt to reach voters beyond his base. It also builds on his successful use of conference calls with conservative bloggers during the Republican primary, which blunted many of the harshest criticisms of the senator.
“The plan is to take the work we’ve already built on with conservative bloggers and to open up a dialogue with non-conservative bloggers and even nonpolitical bloggers,” said Patrick Hynes, Mr. McCain’s point man for blog outreach.

John McCain makes my decision not to vote for him easier by the day. It is clear that he does not give a shit about what us conservative types think about him. He is perfectly willing to reach out to idiot liberals and is banking on their support of him.
He figures there are enough white people out there who will refuse to vote for a Negro so he wants to make himself more appealing to leftists by kissing their collective asses on issues near and dear to their hearts.
As far as I’m concerned, this election cycle is over, the liberals have won, the country will be theirs for at least the next four years. I am content to just sit back relax and watch as liberalism erodes the country.
Why should I give a shit, Mexicans won’t be coming in a snatching my job or Mrs. Snoop’s. I don’t have long commutes to work, so I don’t give a shit about gas prices. I’m not rich so money will not be snatched out of my grubby hands.
Jobs will be lost because of global warming alarmist idiot ass legislation; terrorism will no doubt find our shores again, capitalism will grind to a halt and the legions of moronic Democrats around the country who bitched and moaned about the years under G Dub will struggle to come up with answers as to why the country will go in the toilet because they will have nobody to blame.
For the first time in my adult life I will get to witness complete liberal dominance of the American political system. The country will no doubt survive. Conservatives like myself will not drown ourselves in sorrow and mental anguish because the political pendulum did not swing our way.
We just need to remain positive and be ready to pick up the pieces when liberalism and the Democrats fail.
By Kathy Kiely and Jill Lawrence - LINKHillary Rodham Clinton vowed Wednesday to continue her quest for the Democratic nomination, arguing she would be the stronger nominee because she appeals to a wider coalition of voters — including whites who have not supported Barack Obama in recent contests.
“I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on,” she said in an interview with USA TODAY. As evidence, Clinton cited an Associated Press article “that found how Sen. Obama’s support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me.”
“There’s a pattern emerging here,” she said.
Clinton’s blunt remarks about race came a day after primaries in Indiana and North Carolina dealt symbolic and mathematical blows to her White House ambitions. The Obama campaign, looking toward locking up the nomination, stepped up pressure on superdelegates who have the decisive votes in their race.
In both states, Clinton won six of 10 white voters, according to surveys of people as they left polling places.
Obama spokesman Bill Burton said that in Indiana, Obama split working-class voters with Clinton and won a higher percentage of white voters than in Ohio in March. He said Obama will be the strongest nominee because he appeals “to Americans from every background and all walks of life. These statements from Sen. Clinton are not true and frankly disappointing.”
Clinton rejected any idea that her emphasis on white voters could be interpreted as racially divisive. “These are the people you have to win if you’re a Democrat in sufficient numbers to actually win the election. Everybody knows that.”
Larry Sabato, head of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, said Clinton’s comment was a “poorly worded” variation on the way analysts have been “slicing and dicing the vote in racial terms.”
However, he said her primary support doesn’t prove she’s more electable. Either Democrat will get “the vast majority” of the other’s primary election votes in a general election, he said.
Clinton lost North Carolina by 15 percentage points and won Indiana by 2 points after competing full-out in both states. She had loaned the campaign $6.4 million in the past month. She said she might lend more.
“We should finish the contests we have and see where we stand after they’re over,” she said, referring to the six remaining primaries that will end June 3.
There were signs of unrest Wednesday, even among Clinton allies. California Sen. Dianne Feinstein wondered to The Hill, a Capitol Hill newspaper, “whether she can get the delegates that she needs.” Former South Dakota senator George McGovern, whose 1972 presidential bid gave Clinton her first political experience, switched his support from Clinton to Obama.
“Do you know how difficult it is for women to stand up and say we are the best at anything? The Democratic Party has to know that women are the core, women have to be at the table and women are going to be heard as we continue in these contests until they finally end.”
– Hillary Rodham Clinton
She was speaking to a gathering of 1,500 at the “Generations of Women for Hillary” fundraiser at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington. The women gave her “a thunderous and extended standing ovation.” And why not? She is the women’s candidate. She represents us. She is opening doors for us. In the short span of her historic presidential campaign, Hillary Rodham Clinton has taken a lifetime of venomous misogyny and she has taken it for all of us. If she has not reawakened the long dormant feminist movement, no one can. If she wins, we win. If she loses, we lose:
“I’ve been counted out more than once. But thanks to all of you I’ve come back. When I was counted out in New Hampshire, it was the women of New Hampshire who came back and said, ‘No, she’s not finished yet.’ When I was counted out before Super Tuesday it was women from California to Massachusetts who came and said ‘No, we’re not finished yet.’ When I was counted out before Ohio, before Indiana, we have always come back.”And it’s not so much about my comeback it is about our comeback.
If this were a world where Republicans had the courage of their convictions, Pat Toomey would be a Senator from Pennsylvania. Instead, he is the President of the Club for Growth, a conservative think-tank and advocacy group. The Club for Growth has run afoul of the Republican political machine in recent years for not holding the welfare of the party above the promotion of sound conservative principles. Today, Toomey has an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal defending “RINO_hunting”, a sport that more conservatives should take up. Here’s his conclusion.
A Republican majority is only as useful as the policies that majority produces. When those policies look a lot like Democratic ones, the base rightly questions why it should keep Republicans in power. As the party gears up for elections in the fall, it ought to look closely at the losses suffered under a political strategy devoid of principle. Otherwise, it can look forward to a bad case of déjà vu.
It is, I think, impossible to look at the last four elections and come to any other conclusion. The Republican party would be wise to listen to Mr. Toomey. Michelle Malkin has a great suggestion:
Club for Growth should print that paragraph on greeting cards so we can send an avalanche of them to the GOP elite in Washington.
See for yourself just how “tolerant” they are when pro-life group Pointers for Life put up a display of 4,000 crosses symbolizing murdered fetuses on campus at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Students at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point butted heads Thursday after an anti-abortion organization planted 4,000 white crosses on campus to symbolize aborted fetuses and a student responded by pulling hundreds of them out of the ground. The display, sponsored by Pointers for Life and planted on Isadore Street outside the Health Enhancement Center, is called “Cemetery of the Innocents” and features crosses and anti-abortion and religious signs, one of which reads “Seek Jesus.”The group has come to expect minor vandalism each time it displays the exhibit, but students were shocked when Roderick King pulled up many of the crosses in protest.
“It’s just so disrespectful, and it’s disappointing that this comes from UWSP students. I’ve always thought of this campus as a tolerant place. … Someone made these (crosses) with their own hands,” said Pointers for Life member Tracey Oudenhoven.
King eventually left the site of the display after speaking with Protective Services officials, but he later returned to protest. King said his anger was not just politically charged, but also related to the anonymity of the exhibit.
I don’t want to sound like an ad–a public service ad on TV–but the fact is that if you can read you can walk into a job later on. If you don’t then you got the Army, Iraq, I don’t know, something like that. It’s not as bright. So that’s my little commercial for that.
King thinks the troops stationed in Iraq are illiterate, uneducated people who couldn’t get jobs in the U.S. Nice. Real nice.
“They are so clearly a cut above America,” Bill Carr, acting deputy undersecretary of defense for military personnel policy, said of today’s recruits.
Carr bristles when he hears unfounded charges that the men and women entering the military are less educated, less affluent or less likely than other 18- to 24-year-olds to have alternatives to military service. Rather, a combination of volunteerism and commitment to service is prompting young people to enlist, Carr said, noting that a measure of shrewdness plays into their decision. “They are planning their future and considering what part we can play in it,” he said.
Carr likes to think of himself as a “myth buster,” helping break stereotypes he said are flat-out wrong and cheat servicemembers out of the pride they’ve earned and deserve.
(link) House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is fond of quoting a particular passage of Scripture. The quote, however, does not appear in the Bible and is fictional, according to biblical scholars.
In her April 22 Earth Day news release, Pelosi said, The Bible tells us in the Old Testament, “To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.” On this Earth Day, and every day, let us pledge to our children, and our children’s children, that they will have clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature.
Cybercast News Service repeatedly queried the speaker’s office for two days to determine where the alleged Bible quote is found. Thus far, no one has responded.
Claude Mariottini, a professor of Old Testament at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, told Cybercast News Service the passage not only doesn’t exist - it’s fictional.
“It is not in the Bible,” Mariottini said. There is nothing that even approximates that.
In the age of Google, the internet and blogs how dumb do you have to be as a politician to just start making up quotes from the most-published books of all time?
######
Cybercast News Service has learned that Pelosi has repeatedly used the quote:– In December 2005, in a Christmas message to the U.S. House of Representatives, Pelosi said: “Mr. Speaker, as we leave for this Christmas recess, let us say, ‘God bless you’ to the American people by voting against this Republican budget and statement of injustice and immorality, and let us not let the special interest goose get fat at the expense of America’s children.“The gentleman from Washington [state], Mr. McDermott, quoted the prophet Isaiah. And as the Bible teaches us, to minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship, to ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us. Let us vote no on this budget as an act of worship and for America’s children.”– On Feb. 8, 2007, in remarks before the U.S. House Science and Technology Committee, when it held hearings on global warming, she used the same quote, verbatim, as in her Earth Day release.
– On April 6, 2007, in congressional remarks before the Easter recess: “In this Holy Week, we are reminded of these words in the Old Testament: ‘To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.’ We must move quickly to honor God’s creation by reducing greenhouse gas pollution in the United States and around the world.”
– On April 25, 2007, in a speech to the League of Conservation Voters in Washington, D.C.: “We are now charging ahead to tackle one of humanity’s greatest challenges yet - global warming. We will do this because we hold our children’s future in our hands - not our grandchildren, or great-grandchildren, but our own children. “As it says in the Old Testament, ‘To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.’”
– On Oct. 22, 2007, in a television interview with PBS host Tavis Smiley, she used it in discussion of her roots, attributing the quote to the book of Isaiah: “I’m raised in a family in Baltimore, Maryland, my father was the mayor. He was in Congress when I was born. And we were devoutly Catholic, very patriotic. We love America. Devoutly Catholic, deeply patriotic, proud of our Italian American heritage, and in our case, staunchly Democratic.
“And that faith was related to our Democratic values. That is to say, the gospel of Matthew: ‘When I was hungry, you gave me to eat.’ You know, the least of our brethren. So that’s an inspiration in the New Testament. In the Old Testament, Isaiah says, ‘To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the god who made us.’” Mis-remembered? Mis-paraphrased?
The blogosphere and talk radio are turning up the heat on the Obamas’ cozy relations with Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.Hugh Hewitt and Power Line have 2007 audio of the America-bashing WU terrorists, dug up by Guy Benson of WYLL’s The Sandy Rios Show
Erick Stakelbeck compiles archival video of the couple’s left-wing diatribes.
John Kass has a Chicago Trib column today recounting Dohrn’s role in the Broadway Baby boutique customer ID theft scam that abetted terrorism.
Rezko Watch (see also here) has a link-rich chronicle of the Obama/WU story.
Ed Morrissey explains why this matters. Allahpundit’s got vid of McCain taking on the story and background WU vid here.
Rick Moran reviews the MSM coverage to date and sums up the key facts:
There’s more to this relationship than Ayers simply being a “guy who lives in my neighborhood.” The two were introduced back in 1995 when Obama was presented by outgoing state senator Alice Palmer to Ayers and other far left activists in the University Chicago neighborhood of Hyde Park at Ayers house…RezkoWatch reports on 2 other forums where we know Obama and Ayers participated:Wondering whether the three may have crossed paths is not speculation. It is a fact that they have. Ayers, Dohrn, and Obama have appeared together at a number of gatherings and academic events. In November 1997, Ayers and Obama participated in a panel at the University of Chicago entitled Should a child ever be called a “super predator?” to debate “the merits of the juvenile justice system”.In April 2002, Ayers, Dohrn, and Obama, then an Illinois State Senator, participated together at a conference entitled “Intellectuals: Who Needs Them?” sponsored by The Center for Public Intellectuals and the University of Illinois-Chicago. Ayers and Obama were two of the six members of the “Intellectuals in Times of Crisis” panel. And Campus Watch reports on a farewell dinner for the radical Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi, who was leaving the Arab American Action Network to take the Edward Said endowed chair at Colombia University, where Obama, Ayers, and Dohrn all gave glowing testimonials to Khalidi – whose group received $75,000 from the Woods Foundation.
On Monday, ABC’s World News with Charles Gibson highlighted and seemed to glorify anti-America comments made by a young Egyptian woman, whom the show interviewed as part of a regular series about young people from other countries, who compared the States to a dumb “jock” that in a few years will “die down and burn out, and what’s left is a totally useless nation.”
The young woman, named Ro’ya, charged: “In the past, if the States was a strong country, it was because it had thinkers, but right now, it’s kind of like, it’s kind of like a jock, okay — very powerful, very athletic, in a couple of years, die down and burn out, and what’s left is a totally useless nation.” Without challenge, Weir added: “Ro’ya says she would only live in America if it would help Americans understand the Arab world. She’d much rather move to Italy…”(An online version of the story can be found at ABCNews.com.)
The NAACP has been known as a venerable civil rights organization–so venerable that the “CP” stands for “Colored People,” and everyone understands that is a relic of a time when that phrase provoked no offense. Founded on Feb. 12, 1909, the centenary of Lincoln’s birth, the organization fought Jim Crow laws and segregation. It was NAACP chief counsel Thurgood Marshall who successfully argued the landmark case of Brown v. Board of Education before the U.S. Supreme Court, a court Marshall himself would join 13 years later as the first black justice.
If you respect the NAACP’s heritage, you will be disgusted to learn that the organization’s Detroit chapter plans to honor a man who says that AIDS is a U.S. government plot to kill black people and that the Sept. 11 attacks were “America’s chickens . . . coming home to roost,” and who declares: “God damn America.” As the Detroit Free Press reports:
Controversial minister Jeremiah Wright will speak at the Detroit branch of the NAACP 53rd Annual Fight for Freedom Fund dinner. . . .
The Fight for Freedom dinner, which annually attracts about 10,000 people, will be held April 27 at Cobo Hall. The gathering is a key fund-raiser for the Detroit Branch NAACP, and is billed as the largest sit-down dinner in the country.
This appears to be a case of circling the wagons: Wright, a black man, is under attack, so the NAACP, an organization that seeks the advancement of black people, is defending him. In doing so, the NAACP is committing an analytical and moral error. Wright is under attack not for the color of his skin, but for the content of his ideas. To defend him is to countenance those ideas. Through its actions, the NAACP is in effect arguing that anti-Americanism is acceptable, so long as its source is black. The association is sanctioning both invidious ideas and an invidious racial double standard.
Last week Air America suspended Randi Rhodes for abusive, obscene language at a recent public appearance in San Francisco which was sponsored by an Air America affiliate station.
Air America Media was informed last night by Ms. Rhodes that she has chosen to terminate her employment with the company.
We wish her well and thank her for past services to Air America. We will soon announce exciting new talent and programming that will accelerate Air America’s growth in the future.
New “talent”… “growth”… at Air America? Are they fucken joking!?
Ted Turner, on what will happen if global warming is not addressed immediately:
Not doing it will be catastrophic. We’ll be eight degrees hottest in ten, not ten but 30 or 40 years and basically none of the crops will grow. Most of the people will have died and the rest of us will be cannibals. Civilization will have broken down.
Folks I swear. This level of retardation on TV should be illegal, or at the very least must have some sort of parental warning disclaimer.
This is another example of intellectually vacant liberals getting free air time saying the dumbest shit and society lets this crazy bastard get away with it as if tis a fact.
He had to be high on crack or something or had several martinis before appearing on the show. How the hell can you explain him willingly spitting out such nonsense!?
The punishment visited on Sen. Hillary Clinton for her flagrant, hysterical, repetitive, pathological lying about her visit to Bosnia should be much heavier than it has yet been and should be exacted for much more than just the lying itself. There are two kinds of deliberate and premeditated deceit, commonly known as suggestio falsi and suppressio veri. (Neither of them is covered by the additionally lying claim of having “misspoken.”) The first involves what seems to be most obvious in the present case: the putting forward of a bogus or misleading account of events. But the second, and often the more serious, means that the liar in question has also attempted to bury or to obscure something that actually is true. Let us examine how Sen. Clinton has managed to commit both of these offenses to veracity and decency and how in doing so she has rivaled, if not indeed surpassed, the disbarred and perjured hack who is her husband and tutor.I remember disembarking at the Sarajevo airport in the summer of 1992 after an agonizing flight on a U.N. relief plane that had had to “corkscrew” its downward approach in order to avoid Serbian flak and ground fire. As I hunched over to scuttle the distance to the terminal, a mortar shell fell as close to me as I ever want any mortar shell to fall. The vicious noise it made is with me still. And so is the shock I felt at seeing a civilized and multicultural European city bombarded round the clock by an ethno-religious militia under the command of fascistic barbarians. I didn’t like the Clinton candidacy even then, but I have to report that many Bosnians were enthused by Bill Clinton’s pledge, during that ghastly summer, to abandon the hypocritical and sordid neutrality of the George H.W. Bush/James Baker regime and to come to the defense of the victims of ethnic cleansing.
I am recalling these two things for a reason. First, and even though I admit that I did once later misidentify a building in Sarajevo from a set of photographs, I can tell you for an absolute certainty that it would be quite impossible to imagine that one had undergone that experience at the airport if one actually had not. Yet Sen. Clinton, given repeated chances to modify her absurd claim to have operated under fire while in the company of her then-16-year-old daughter and a USO entertainment troupe, kept up a stone-faced and self-loving insistence that, yes, she had exposed herself to sniper fire in the cause of gaining moral credit and, perhaps to be banked for the future, national-security “experience.” This must mean either a) that she lies without conscience or reflection; or b) that she is subject to fantasies of an illusory past; or c) both of the above. Any of the foregoing would constitute a disqualification for the presidency of the United States.
*****
Ya know unless Hillary is able to hire someone to assassinate Obama her chances of winning the presidency is pretty much zero.
Putting aside Rush’s “Operation Chaos” successfully fucking up the Democratic Party, after her sniper fire lie I have often thought about the mental acuity of people who still actually believe that Hillary Clinton should be president.
EVEN AFTER THIS MOTHER OF ALL PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE LIES, how
could someone willingly show up at one of her campaign rallies and keep their integrity in check?
I have yet to find a blogger or columnist who is willing to bang out on a keyboard truthfully and honestly why Hillary, despite being a lying fuck should be president.
Only the fact that she is a woman and her name is Clinton. If she were a man named
Tom Richardson everyone including flaming lib tards would avoid her like the plague.
after reading this article, I’m just dumbfounded.
Yesterday, Barack Obama continued his bus tour across Pennsylvania with a stop in Altoona, Obama went bowling!
And he bowled a 37. A 37! Some bowlers get as many points in one frame (30, for three consecutive strikes) as Barack Obama got in a game.
I thought he was suppose to be a damm athlete, turns out dude is a punk ass.
If I were Hilary I would head to the nearest bowling alley. I’ve see kids barely able to pick up a ball bowl in the 60’s.
I don’t know what moron on his staff suggested this, but the fuck needs to be fired!
Observations of liar liar pants on fire fraud retard Democratic presidential candidates…

Obama’s Pastor Slurs Italians in Latest Magazine
By Penny Starr - CNSNews.com Senior Staff Writer
(CNSNews.com) - Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., pastor emeritus of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago where Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) has been a member for two decades, slurred Italians in a piece published in the most recent issue of Trumpet Newsmagazine.
“(Jesus’) enemies had their opinion about Him,” Wright wrote in a eulogy of the late scholar Asa Hilliard in the November/December 2007 issue. “The Italians for the most part looked down their garlic noses at the Galileans.”
Wright continued, “From the circumstances surrounding Jesus’ birth (in a barn in a township that was under the Apartheid Roman government that said his daddy had to be in), up to and including the circumstances surrounding Jesus’ death on a cross, a Roman cross, public lynching Italian style. …
GREENSBORO, N.C. — Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama on Wednesday sought to quell concerns over anti-American remarks by his former pastor, saying people are paying too much attention to a small number of “stupid” comments.
Obama gave a sweeping speech on race last week in which he condemned incendiary remarks by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, but the words of the former pastor at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago continue to dog the candidate. Reflecting the campaign’s concern about the fallout, Obama used a question about religion at a town hall forum as an opportunity to address the issue.
“This is somebody that was preaching three sermons at least a week for 30 years and it got boiled down … into a half-minute sound clip and just played it over and over and over again, partly because it spoke to some of the racial divisions we have in this country,” Obama told an audience in this central North Carolina city.
“There are misunderstandings on both sides,” the Illinois senator said. “We cannot solve the problems of America if every time somebody somewhere does something stupid, that everybody gets up in arms and forgets about the war in Iraq and we forget about the economy.”
Obama is becoming Bill Clinton like. I mean in the “it depends on what the meaning of the word “is” is.
Remember:
“It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is. If the–if he–if ‘is’ means is and never has been, that is not–that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement….Now, if someone had asked me on that day, are you having any kind of sexual relations with Ms. Lewinsky, that is, asked me a question in the present tense, I would have said no. And it would have been completely true.”
So now we have a “small number of “stupid” comments” I guess it depends on what you would define as “small.”
Mrs. Clinton said that she says “millions of words each day” so “we were under sniper fire” so five small words out of a million, is indeed small. “God damm Americkkka” is just a blip on the radar.
Ya know I get the fact that politicians on both sides have some serious issues with honesty. And neither side has a monopoly on what may be the correct path to dealing with some of America’s issues but anybody paying attention has to be struck by just how incredibly deceitful and conniving Democratic politicians are.
A simple story about a foreign policy trip or whether or not (your church and pastor of CHOICE) is a raving racist America hating lunatic can produce the most bullshit rhetoric is just beyond belief.
One of my commenter’s Allen posted this and it describes Democrats perfectly;
“I can’t quite imagine what a conversation in that family must be like. The best I can figure:”
Neighbor: Your damn dog tore up my garden.
Bill: We have no dog. Hillary: Our dog was inside when the incident occurred. Chelsea: We have a dog?
Neighbor: Of course it’s your dog everyone knows it.
Lanny Davis: I find this focus on the dog to be irrelevant.
At least that’s the conclusion she tried to draw when it was her opponent who wasn’t releasing his tax records during the 2000 campaign.
The campaign of his Democratic opponent, Hillary Rodham Clinton, criticized the delay, asking whether he was hiding something. The State Democratic Party even sent a young campaign worker dressed as Uncle Sam to Mr. Lazio’s campaign events, to shout at him to disclose the returns.
An interesting conclusion considering she is now the one who is failing to release 8 years of tax returns.
(link) “The bigger the lie, the better the chance they think they’ve got. That’s been their whole approach,” he said. “She’s going to lose a whole generation of people who got involved in politics believing it could be something different.”
Bradley believes that Clinton will stop at nothing to tear down Obama even if it boosts John McCain, who was confirmed last week as the Republican nominee:
”The Clintons do not do long-term planning. They’re total tacticians and right now their focus is on Obama, not McCain.”
First Chuck Barkley, now Michelle Obama, who will be the next idiot Obama supporter to insert foot in mouth?

UPDATE - When I wrote this rant at the time I did not know this: Bill O’Reilly
Now, the problem with that statement is the words “for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country.” Perhaps Michelle Obama simply misspoke. That happens all the time when you give speeches. But Mrs. Obama said it twice in two different speeches.
Now I’m willing, I’m willing to give Mrs. Obama the benefit of the doubt if she wants that benefit. The problem is she’s been silent, letting others speak for her.
Keep that in mind, when (or if) Michelle goes on a “I DIDN’T MEAN IT” talk show tour, starting with Oprah. She clearly meant it.
************Original Post***********
I’ve been pondering all day that stupid ass remark Michelle Obama made and I tried like hell to come up with something relevant, something worthy of inquisitive eyes. You know what I could not come up with anything to say, her comments, so outlandish and repugnant there is no explaining her either colossal stupidity or she has already learned that there will always be a segment of the American population, where playing the victim makes you somehow noble, cool, aware, a proud non conformist.
Politics is already a cesspool of corruption made up of the most egotistical manipulative people on the planet. Michelle fits in nicely.
I think about my own life, I’m as Middle American as they come, ridiculously simple, wanting for nothing, I have a nice job, one where I can easily work until I’m 70 or more in relative comfort.
I have a great wife, a loving family, some issues, but certainly nothing that causes me any great concern.
I have been virtually around this entire nation, and had the opportunity to travel Europe.
I have been involved in some great endeavors, had the opportunity to meet and work with some extraordinary people.
Mrs. Snoop and I are not wealthy folks, not will we ever be, unless we hit the lotto, but I’m cool with that.
I have never climbed towering peaks, rode the great wave, or sought the adrenalin rush of lets say bungee jumping off a picturesque bridge or skydiving into a beautiful valley.
I have never had the opportunity to either speak to or perform before a crowd of thousands with adoring applauses afterwards.
I have never made it big on Wall Street, nor have I closed a multi-million dollar real estate or business deal.
I have never owned a business, never with my own two hands constructed my own home.
Although I have many times experienced racism, been treated less than fair on some occasions, and have been frustrated at some of the decisions I have made that caused me to take a less than desirable path. Good, bad or otherwise I have never questioned the greatness of this nation nor oblivious to the fact that if I desired to achieve greatness that being an American gives me a distinct advantage millions come here to take advantage of each year.
This nation provides an abundance of opportunities to those that CHOOSE to take advantage of it.
Michelle Obama the wife of a man in a very exclusive club, United States Senator.
Friend of and political partner of arguable the richest and most influential woman in the world Oprah Winfrey.
This woman, hugely successful with more money that I will ever see, I guess is not proud or our American standard of living compared to people throughout the world.
Even in some of America’s most impoverished areas our poor are not living in grass huts, without running water. Let not forget most likely drive decent automobiles, has multiple TV’s (with cable) and most of their lives paid for on the backs of hard working Americans.
I’m sure in the next day or so, she will qualify her remarks and try to brush them aside.
To me this little incident only outlines just how far politics has fallen in this nation.
To think that by disparaging a nation that has provided her with so much is in her mind “necessary” to court the political favor of those who would just assume this nation be brought to its knees is frankly sickening.
What the hell, all I can say is we simply need to make damm sure that individuals like Michelle Obama and her ilk are not bestowed the honor of representing this nation as first lady.
I’m sure one of those diseased ravaged, war torn, AIDS infested African countries will make her queen.
But ya know the funny thing is one of her first acts as African queen would be to meet with evil American leaders to beg for money.
Yes, America sucks until you need our damm money, or the blood of our soldiers to liberate you.
The problems with a politically oriented company gaining a stranglehold over the Internet go beyond Memorial Day not getting a special Google logo. Google owns YouTube, which recently demonstrated its bias by censoring a video critical of the abortion mill Planned Parenthood. The American Life League but together a video that used clips from Planned Parenthood’s own degenerate ads to make the point that the abortionists promote casual sex on the taxpayers’ dollar. These conspicuously tasteless ads (”Mile High” and “Angel“) remain on YouTube, while the ALL video has been pulled for being of “inappropriate nature.” “Inappropriate” evidently means “politically incorrect.”
Apparently Planned Parenthood’s attack dogs demanded the video be pulled, and YouTube was happy to comply.
This particular piece is interesting to me because recently I was removed from You Tube for the (5th) time. There was actually a dude who was so pissed at some of the titles (titles fucking with idiot liberals) of my videos dude would literally monitor all of my videos and sent in complaints to YT.
There is no doubt the mutherfuckers at You Tube, have a clear bias when it comes to right leaning content, I’m like screw them exposing this type is bullshit bias only stirs up the troops.
While campaigning in Wichita, this afternoon with KS senator and former presidential candidate Sam Brownback, John McCain announced that he had recently received the support of another former candidate. “I also spoke again yesterday to my friend Fred Thompson who assured me he is ready to do whatever it takes to help me win the election in November,” McCain said. “I’m very proud to have the friendship and support of Fred Thompson as well.”
