I’ll be totally honest since I never gave a shit about nor respected McCain I paid little attention to him, I head about this but I thought it was a joke. You mean this asshole actually called his mega rich wife a CUNT and she did not dump his senile idiot crusty old ass!?
Can you imagine Obama calling his wife a cunt? She would go ghetto on his ass and cut him!!
If I were a woman (except for the fact that Obama is a clueless dolt) it would be next to impossible for me to vote for him.
Calling a woman a cunt is seriously disrespecful. No woman should ever tolerate a man using that term.
Cindy must either be very weak minded or despite her looks must be seriously lacking in self-esteem or both!
John McCain’s temper is well documented. He’s called opponents and colleagues “shitheads,” “assholes” and in at least one case “a fucking jerk.”
But a new book on the presumptive Republican nominee will air perhaps the most shocking angry exchange to date.
The Real McCain by Cliff Schecter, which will arrive in bookstores next month, reports an angry exchange between McCain and his wife that happened in full view of aides and reporters during a 1992 campaign stop. An advance copy of the book was obtained by RAW STORY.
Three reporters from Arizona, on the condition of anonymity, also let me in on another incident involving McCain’s intemperateness. In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain’s hair and said, “You’re getting a little thin up there.” McCain’s face reddened, and he responded, “At least I don’t plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you cunt.” McCain’s excuse was that it had been a long day. If elected president of the United States, McCain would have many long days.
The man who was known as “McNasty” in high school has erupted in foul-languaged tirades at political foes and congressional colleagues more-or-less throughout his career, and his quickness to anger has been an issue on the presidential campaign trail as evidence of his fury has surfaced.

Even though the crowd was small at the DC pro Hillary rally the anger was apparent. I don’t know how widespread the anger is but from speaking to the folks at the rally I did not come across anyone who is going to support Hussein.
The media and Democratic operatives can deny it all they want but the anger runs deep and it is not only aimed at Obama but the Democratic Party as well.

As pretty well the whole world knows now, NBC is a corporation bursting at the seams with misogyny. So are you surprised to discover that NBC’s quest to promote sexism is on display in the nation’s airports?Apparently, CNBC stores — like this one at Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC. — are where you need to go to purchase sexist jokes like “Hillary Nutcrackers.” Is there an adult sign on this store? Because I seriously doubt that parents relish the thought of explaining the “Hillary Nutcracker” to their daughters and sons.
Can racists find their toys at NBC stores too? Is NBC an equal opportunity hater?
I just got back from a vacation, and I had a layover in Washington, DC. Across from where I sat lay the CNBC store, proudly sporting that NBC peacock we’ve come to know so well. . . I wandered over to grab a newspaper or a magazine, and this is what I found in the center of the store, facing outward from the cash register. Did you get it? Did you get the joke? A great example of how stupid and racist liberals are…
Here’s another thing I don’t like about this primary: now that there are only two Democratic candidates, it’s suddenly horribly absolutely crystal-clear that this is an election about gender and race. This may have always been true, but weeks ago it wasn’t so obvious — once upon a time there were eight candidates, and although six of them withered away, their presence in the campaign managed to obscure things. Even around the time of Ohio, when there were primarily three candidates, the outlines were murky, because Edwards was still in there, picking up votes from all sectors.But now there are two and we’re facing Pennsylvania and whom are we kidding? This is an election about whether the people of Pennsylvania hate blacks more than they hate women. And when I say people, I don’t mean people, I mean white men.
How ironic is this? After all this time, after all these stupid articles about how powerless white men are and how they can’t even get into college because of overachieving women and affirmative action and mean lady teachers who expected them to sit still in the third grade even though they were all suffering from terminal attention deficit disorder — after all this, they turn out (surprise!) to have all the power. (As they always did, by the way; I hope you didn’t believe any of those articles.)
You know folks as opinionated a dude as I am this is one of those issues where I can’t get a real grip on what I feel should be done.
On the one hand, having the government raid these folks domain is not something I totally agree with, particularly if you read the little article below where the phone call that precipitated the initial raid is a little shaky.
On the other hand if you watch the interview, these women are mentally retarded. I’m not sure if you were to ask them what year it is they could tell you. The moms have the mindset of a child.
Is mental capacity grounds for taking away someone child? Now these women deny abuse, but we all know it happens, however there is this thing called burden of proof.
There are shit loads of examples of single mothers who seemingly have all of their marbles, but exhibit their own examples of retardation by doing things like smoking or drinking during and after pregnancy, poor relationship choices, exposing the child to physical abuse, mismanaging their own lives ect.
The government simply can’t rescue every child from retarded parents.
So what’s the answer?

Officials can’t make legal mistakes in polygamist case
(link) The recent raid on the polygamist retreat in Texas has many legal implications.Authorities in Texas apparently had been watching the compound for at least four years but had no cause to do anything about the alleged activities going on inside. That changed, they say, when they got a frantic phone call from a girl allegedly inside the compound. The girl told police she had been forced to marry a 50-year-old man and had been raped.
That was the probable cause they needed, authorities say, to go in and raid the compound. What they found was a large group of mostly women and children and several young pregnant girls. The group is reportedly part of the Fundamentalist Latter Day Saints group.
The first legal question surrounds the alleged call and the true identity of the caller. She has yet to be located. Authorities likely are going to have to prove her existence in order to make any cases against the group stick.
Other legal concerns surround the separation of the young children from their mothers. Some women in the sect have said they were lied to about being separated from their children.
We expect there to be several legal challenges to this case. No matter how much outrage there is regarding polygamy and the idea of young girls being married off to older men, it’s important all aspects of the case follow the proper legal protocol.
FLDS practices polygamy in arranged marriages, sometimes between underage girls and older men. Over history, the group has been swept up in raids because of their lifestyle and their history.
This case will be another test for the age-old question of religious freedom versus exploitation of children.
For the children’s sake, authorities can’t afford for this case to fall apart because of any legal mistakes.
Ok I’ll admit I have paid no attention to this, although I knew about it.

Dante Brown is a playful, rambunctious toddler growing up on the city’s West Side.TraJanae Sanders is the same kind of kid, growing up on the East Side.
A lot separates these 2-year-olds, but in some important ways, their young lives already echo with similarity. Both are poor.
Both are being raised by young women who bore them as teenagers.
And neither child has a dad at home. Dante and TraJanae are two faces of a change that’s deeply affecting many neighborhoods in Buffalo — where today 43 percent of children live below the poverty line.
These two children, and at least 18,450 others in the city, are growing up in low-income homes headed by women alone. This is fatherless Buffalo.
The disintegration of the two-parent family in poor city neighborhoods, many people say, has contributed to the transformation of many once-vital streets into poverty-racked places where low-rent apartments fill with the same kinds of occupants:
Single mothers with young children. Fathers, here, have largely vanished.
“He’s a joke to me now,” Dante Brown’s mother, Janelle Dzina, said about the father of Dante. He left Buffalo for Toronto when Janelle was four months’ pregnant.
“These men,” said Dzina, who also has a 1-year-old daughter, Maria Irizarry, “they don’t respect women.”

Story hits close to home for me, it just pisses me off. I’m to the point where I really have little or no sympathy when I read these types of stories.
Too many young people, particularly minorities get caught up in this downward spiral and the rest of us I guess are suppose to feel bad and have compassion for these poor unfortunate souls.

Snoop and I have been catching up on TV lately. Awhile back he started watching a show made for “Showtime” called “The L Word.” And now I’ve been watching it with him.For those who haven’t seen this show before, it’s all about a bunch of women in LA who are lesbian. The characters are all beautiful (pretty much); not a butch lesbian in the whole bunch. They party all the time. They sleep together the night they meet and they move in together the next day (or week). And they all behave like they are incapable of being stable or faithful, no matter how much they love their partner(s) or how hard they worked to “hook up” in the first place.
I don’t know hundreds of lesbians personally, but the handful I do know (some quite well) do not look like this women, nor thank God do they act like them. However, in checking with my closest lesbian friend (is that like having a black friend I wonder?) she says that the show is actually more true to life then I think. She said that the population in question is largely unstable, overly-sex-obsessed, and unfaithful, despite her relationship’s longevity. We’ve talked about that trend in the past, and she believes that some of it is due to the fact that there is very little societal encouragement for such couples to stay together; on the contrary.
But I don’t know. Society supports hetereo-couples marrying and staying together. And yet, over 50% of all married couples now end in divorce. So societal support does not seem to discourage break-ups. So I’m not sure if society can be blamed for the choices people make or how they behave in their sex lives and relationships.
The “L word” is not a bad show. The show has some heavy hitting actresses in it, the plot always has something new to say and the music they choose is good. But I do get tired of seeing people who can never be happy in their relationships. I get tired of seeing people throw happiness away with both hands. I get tired of people looking for love everywhere but in their own relationships. I get tired of seeing and hearing about self-destructive behaviors and the worship of instant (or sexual) gratification.
It makes me sad to see so many people unwilling or unable to find and stay in healthy relationships. Whether gay or straight. Whether on TV or in real life. If anyone ever figures out a guaranteed way of choosing a mates who last for a happy life time, that person will contribute more to humanity then anyone since Jesus Christ.
“The L-word.” No it’s not love. But maybe it should be.

Period. They will do anything to anyone to get what they want. It is wise to avoid these people, men or women. Unfortunately, they can be difficult to spot because they seem nice. Here’s my advice, though. As soon as you see the bad behavior, bail. When someone shows you herself, believe her.”
I have known more than one woman who married a man knowing full well he didn’t love her. It was enough to just be with the man even though it meant, for the rest of his days, that he’d have a missing piece in his life. She didn’t care. She wanted him. She used sex to manipulate him. If she could, she got pregnant to trap him.In all but one case, the man eventually cheated on his wife. One lady just looks the other way as long as he comes home at night. Another lady played the victim and seemed dumb-founded about her sorry lot. Another lady hopes that maybe some day, he’ll love her. One woman I know said to her husband,”I thought that once you married me and knew me better, you’d love me.” She was partly right. His admiration of her has grown over the years, but there is still no love there. He languishes and she diminishes as time passes.
Anyone who is married knows that it is a mystery between two people. Families, friends, outsiders think they know what’s going on behind the scenes but the people involved have a secret dance that only they share. Even in wildly uneven relationships where one partner is a certifiable psychopath, there was something, on some level, that meshed between the couple–a sympathy. They both know this.
Like Adam, the typical man can’t resist the temptation of riper fruit, especially if the woman in his life has let herself go. “If she got lazy physically or gained weight or just doesn’t take care of herself, a guy will start looking at other women,” Santagati says. Women who want to keep their men on a short leash need to take a “good, hard look in the mirror,” he adds. And men should do the same. He might be a complete slob and still be demanding perfection from her. “It’s the typical double standard.”

Judge David Roper said he felt badly for Kenneth Samuels when he learned the child he had fathered for 11 years wasn’t his.Justice was also shortchanged, the judge said, because Mr. Samuels had been paying child support all of those years.
Last month, Judge Roper ruled that Jamie Hope, the child’s mother, and Oba Wallace, the child’s biological father, would have to repay Mr. Samuels $14,460 in child support he had paid since 1997.

Most females lie “more cleverly and successfully than men” about everything from infidelity and facelifts to barhopping and shopping binges, according to a new book.
Barash interviewed 500 women nationwide who answered her Craigslist ads seeking females to confide what they fib about. Among her findings:
* 75 percent lie about how much money they spend. For instance, they sneak purchases inside their homes after shopping or hide the price tags.
* 50 percent harbor “mixed feelings about mothering.” One told Barash, “I look at these children and I crave sleep and free time. They wear me out and make me jealous of working women who have no children, no husbands.”
* More than 60 percent cheated on their husbands. A 32-year-old mother conducted her trysts while telling her trusting husband she was working late. Even in asking for a divorce, she withheld the truth: “I didn’t say I had fallen for another man. He was better off with my lies.”
On Rush’s website he had the transcript from some talk shows with Cokie Roberts from ABC and Dee Dee Myers expressing their displeasure over the sexism that is killing Hillary’s campaign.
ROBERTS: The only group she still really has is white women, and I do think that there’s some possibility that you will see a sort of reaction among white women. I had the opportunity –STEPHY: Like New Hampshire.
ROBERTS: — to interview Billie Jean King this week. And she said, “You know, I feel like everything I’ve worked for all my life is going out the window,” and there is that sense. I mean, here is this woman who worked hard. She’s done it all the way you’re supposed to do it, and then this cute young man comes in and says a bunch of sweet, you know, nothings, and — and pushes you out of the way. And a lot of women are looking at that and saying, “There goes my life.”
ROBERTS: The truth is, is that for a Republican running against him he can put him, you know, just squarely on the left of the Democratic Party. You know, he’s got a very — very much, you know, ADA, Americans for Democratic Action-approved voting record. He, unlike Hillary Clinton, oddly enough, given the rhetoric, has not reached across the aisle and worked with people in the other party to get things done, which she has done.

MYERS: Hillary Clinton’s options are limited in many ways because she’s a woman. It’s difficult for her to get angry; it’s difficult for her to be sarcastic; when she gets tough, she sounds like a scold; and I think we have a different standard for how women, umm, can approach going negative, getting tough, and making their point than we do for men.
MYERS: The public has different expectations for women, and I think the press has covered her different as a woman. I think one of the things we’ve learned in this campaign is that the playing field still isn’t level. I don’t think you can separate the fact that she’s a woman. I think it’s still easier to be critical of a woman. I think you can say almost anything about a woman, even if it’s based in gender stereotypes without much penalty, and I think we’ve seen that throughout this race.

I don’t give a fuck what race or gender a candidate is, for me political ideology will always trump a candidate’s race or gender.
If I had my own business, or ran a corporation, anything having to do with employee, departmental, cabinet hiring/selection, all things being equal, nine time out of ten, I’ll select a woman over a man.
Women are more loyal; I would tend to trust women more, and in many cases will work harder.

We are women who support Hillary Clinton for the presidency of the United States. We do so because we believe that she will be the best president for the entire country. And as feminists, we also believe that Clinton is the best choice for attending to issues of special importance to women.
We write to you now because it’s time for feminists to say that Senator Obama has no monopoly on inspiration. We are among the millions of women and men who have been moved to action by her. Six months ago, some of us were committed to her candidacy, some of us weren’t, but by now we all find ourselves passionately supporting her. Brains, grace under pressure, ideas, and the skill to make them real: we call that inspiring. The restoration of good government after eight years of devastation, a decent foreign policy with ties to world leaders repaired, withdrawal from Iraq and universal health care: we call that exciting.

Earlier I was asked if I had to vote for one of the three stooges for president who would that be? I said Hillary. However after reading this nonsense from these websites HERE, HERE, and HERE and watching the sappy ass video above, I changed my mind, no true feminist could possible be inspired by Hillary. The only reason she is even in position to be president is because her husband screwed around on her and she was willing to be in the shadow of her man for political expediency.
Frankly, if Michelle Obama were running for president I’d vote for her WAY before I would Mrs. Bill Clinton.
Any woman who would try and sell you the merits of a Hillary Clinton presidency solely based on this ridiculous notion that she is somehow “inspiring” is quite frankly full of crap.
Oh don’t get me wrong, Obama is an equally empty vessel and my disdain for McCain is obvious. So who would I vote for, gun to my head, fuck it, go ahead and pull the damm trigger!
A swarm of biographers in miners’ gear has tried to plumb the inky depths of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s warren-riddled psyche. My metaphor is drawn (as Oscar Wilde’s prim Miss Prism would say) from the Scranton coalfields, to which came the Welsh family that produced Hillary’s harsh, domineering father.Hillary’s feckless, loutish brothers (who are kept at arm’s length by her operation) took the brunt of Hugh Rodham’s abuse in their genteel but claustrophobic home. Hillary is the barracuda who fought for dominance at their expense. Flashes of that ruthless old family drama have come out repeatedly in this campaign, as when Hillary could barely conceal her sneers at her fellow debaters onstage — the wimpy, cringing brothers at the dinner table.
Hillary’s willingness to tolerate Bill’s compulsive philandering is a function of her general contempt for men. She distrusts them and feels morally superior to them. Following the pattern of her long-suffering mother, she thinks it is her mission to endure every insult and personal degradation for a higher cause — which, unlike her self-sacrificing mother, she identifies with her near-messianic personal ambition.
It’s no coincidence that Hillary’s staff has always consisted mostly of adoring women, with nerdy or geeky guys forming an adjunct brain trust. Hillary’s rumored hostility to uniformed military men and some Secret Service agents early in the first Clinton presidency probably belongs to this pattern. And let’s not forget Hillary, the governor’s wife, pulling out a book and rudely reading in the bleachers during University of Arkansas football games back in Little Rock.
Hillary’s disdain for masculinity fits right into the classic feminazi package, which is why Hillary acts on Gloria Steinem like catnip. Steinem’s fawning, gaseous New York Times op-ed about her pal Hillary this week speaks volumes about the snobby clubbiness and reactionary sentimentality of the fossilized feminist establishment, which has blessedly fallen off the cultural map in the 21st century. History will judge Steinem and company very severely for their ethically obtuse indifference to the stream of working-class women and female subordinates whom Bill Clinton sexually harassed and abused, enabled by look-the-other-way and trash-the-victims Hillary.
