LOL! Nader: Obama trying to “Talk White,” Appeal to “White Guilt”

In an interview with the Rocky Mountain News, independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader says the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, is trying to “talk white” by downplaying poverty issues.

Nader — who launched his 5th presidential campaign in February — says the only thing different about Obama from previous Democratic presidential candidates is his race. “I haven’t heard him have a strong crackdown on economic exploitation in the ghettos,” Nader says. “Payday loans, predatory lending, asbestos, lead. What’s keeping him from doing that? Is it because he wants to talk white? He doesn’t want to appear like Jesse Jackson? We’ll see all that play out in the next few months and if he gets elected afterwards.”

Asked if he thinks Obama is trying to “talk white,” Nader said, “of course….The number one thing that a black American politician aspiring to the presidency should be is to candidly describe the plight of the poor, especially in the inner cities and the rural areas, and have a very detailed platform about how the poor is going to be defended by the law, is going to be protected by the law, and is going to be liberated by the law,” Nader said. “Haven’t heard a thing.”

Nader also says Obama wants to show he’s not “another politically threatening African-American politician. He wants to appeal to white guilt. You appeal to white guilt not by coming on as black is beautiful, black is powerful. Basically he’s coming on as someone who is not going to threaten the white power structure, whether it’s corporate or whether it’s simply oligarchic. And they love it. Whites just eat it up.”

The Cruise Indoctrination Video Scientology Tried To Suppress

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

Crazy Bastard!!

This is from the website Gawker

You have to watch this video. It shows Tom Cruise, with all the wide-eyed fervor that he brings to the promotion of a movie, making the argument for Scientology, the bizarre 20th-century religion. Making the argument is an understatement. The Hollywood actor, star of movies such as Mission Impossible, is a complete fanatic. “When you’re a Scientologist, and you drive by an accident, you know you have to do something about it, because you know you’re the only one who can really help… We are the way to happiness. We can bring peace and unite cultures.” There’s much much more. Let me put it this way: if Tom Cruise jumping on Oprah’s couch was an 8 on the scale of scary, this is a 10.

Redneck humor in Colorado about Obama stuns crowd. Snoop wonders why?

I am not a racist, I just play one in front of large white audiences

(link) A Greeley businessman apologized Wednesday after a joke about Illinois Sen. Barack Obama fell flat during the National Western Stock Show’s annual Citizen of the West banquet.William R. Farr was pretending to read telegrams congratulating this year’s award recipient, University of Colorado President Hank Brown, when he pulled out a piece of paper and said, “I have a telegram from the White House.”

Then he added, “They’re going to have to change the name of that building if Obama’s elected.”

Witnesses said they could hear people gasp in the ballroom of the Adam’s Mark Hotel.

“I gasped,” said Gov. Bill Ritter, who was sitting at the table with Farr.

Mayor John Hickenlooper said, “I don’t think he (Farr) intended any mischief or malice, but it was inappropriate.”

Afterward, Farr said he regretted making the remark and apologized to anyone offended.

“I apologize for that,” Farr told a reporter as soon as the banquet ended.

“I mistook it to be humorous, but it was something I shouldn’t have said.”

Farr, a member of a pioneering Colorado ranching family, also said he regrets detracting from an evening intended to honor Brown, a longtime friend.

“All that I can say about that is that it was unfortunate and most inappropriate,” said Albert Yates, a former president of Colorado State University, who is black. “Even though Bill Farr is a friend, there’s just no way to defend what he said.

“I think it was uncalled for and atrocious,” said U.S. Sen. Ken Salazar, who was also in attendance.

Folks y’all who peep this site are gonna have to excuse me for the time being, I’m really in an exceedingly shitty mood, maybe because I’m sick of the fucken cold and snow, this bullshit presidential race, who fucken knows but avoid PPP for the time being is you are sensitive to reading excessive Negro verbal venom.

I saw this as a headline on Drudge and I’m thinking why would a room full of white folks be “gasped” at hearing some redneck tell a fucken joke that millions of white folks are thinking every time Obama is on the tube?
Don’t mind me I’m just trying to process just how shocked could some white folks really be in 2008 that someone could tell a racially insensitive joke. There are 301,139,947 people in the U.S. 121,068,721 voted in the last election. There are 35.9 million people over age 65 and what were the majority of these people doing in their youth and early adult years, learning in segregated classrooms and workplaces, relaxing in all white country clubs and raising families in the newly created suburbs to escape the influx of Negros in the cities, worshiping in all white…as were black folks in all black congregations.
It is still possible for me to go an entire week, milling around town and not see another black person, it’s not like I’m in Montana or Vermont, I’m only 40 miles from Kansas City, MOKS. There are only 38.7 million black folks in America, so in vast expanses of this nation we are few and far between, except for Maryland.
Just for the hell of it, let’s thrown in the population of Hispanics of 39.9 million, another group who is not fond of Negros and Asians at last count 13.5 million another group not particularly fond of Negros.

Today with you still have young white folks throwing Martin Luther King black stereotype parties, a growing racist contingent backing and throwing their money to an unnamed presidential candidate, and you have another leading presidential candidate engaging in racial demagoguery to destroy her opponent.

And yet, I read tons of blogs, and articles and listen to white political panel gab fests and they all are patting themselves on the back because, “see Obama is actually a leading candidate and a serious contender for the Oval office because white people have moved past their prejudices and are willing to support a black man for president.”

I don’t know, just what percentage of the 70 something or so percent of white people, or about 200,000,000 white folks in this country have the mindset of this cracka in Colorado. Oh like he is the only racist idiot fuck in America, plez!

Like I said, don’t mind me, I’m just processing on the keyboard.
