The latest ad from the RNC takes some low-hanging fruit and makes a feast from it. The ad takes the energy policy of Barack Obama and compares it to the last President that tried it — Jimmy Carter. Obama’s call for a windfall-profits tax against oil companies prompts a history lesson about the results from the last such attempt:
TEXT: Sen. Barack Obama The Age of oil must end speech
“your great mayor” LOL!
“We fuel our oil addiction by sending over 800 million dollars a day to countries that include some of the most despotic volatile regimes in the world.”
“oil money funds everything from the madrassas that plant the seeds of terror in young minds, to sunni insurgents that attack our troops in Iraq, corrupts budding democracies
and gives dictators from Venezuela to Iran the power to freely defy the international community it even presents a larger target for Osama Bin Laden who has told Al Qaeda to focus your operations on oil especially in Iraq and the gulf area since this will cause Americans to die off on their own”
The clip
Now Bush says this:
“Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along,”
said Bush, in what White House aides privately acknowledged was a reference to calls by Obama and other Democrats for the U.S. president to sit down for talks with leaders like Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Because Obama said this….
Obama: “Sure, I’ll meet with Castro, Chavez, Ahmadinejad, etc”
Now I’m confused and I’m the one posting this shit, Obama says to me (Snoop evil dictator) you run one of the most despotic regimes in the world and I plant the seeds of terror in young minds, and you STILL want to sit down and talk to me? What the fuck?
Which is it? Negotiate with terrorist thugs, stop sending these thugs our money via oil, reduce dependency on foreign oil, we need a windfall profits tax to tax the oil companies, oh don’t forget that we have no other alternative energy resources, bla bla bla, yada yada yada.
CONFUSED!?!
Yes I must agree with El Borak, an Obama presidency will no doubt be a fun one blogging wise. Just think the Democrats will fucken have control of the House, Senate and likely the presidency (even if McCain wins the same thing). The Democrats are likely to turn this country back into the Stone Age. And who do we have to blame, Republicans since they are a bunch of spineless no guts assholes that refuse to run on and stand up for conservative principles.
With the Democrats in charge America will in essence be imprisoned by liberalism and thus will become the “tossed salad man”
Well, let’s add to the avalanche of hits going to the Marathon Pundit this morning, who discovers a circa 2001 photo of William Ayers doing what looks to be the Twist on an American flag. The picture comes from a Chicago Magazine profile of Ayers, who had begun promoting his memoir of domestic terrorist called Fugitive Days. Here are two versions of the picture from that photo shoot:
BAGHDAD — A diary and another document seized during U.S. raids show some Al Qaeda in Iraq leaders fear the terror group is crumbling, with many fighters defecting to American-backed neighborhood groups, the U.S. military said Sunday.
An undated screengrab from a video released by U.S. forces on February 6, 2008. Remember the pic that fatass Rosie posted of her kid, Future liberal terrorist in training?
Of course, Mos Def confuses treason with terrorism. As far as the King was concerned, George Washington and his fellow separatists were traitors, not terrorists since the Continental army never attacked civilians, as far as I know, to achieve their political ends.
And since Mos Def gets his info from the local barbershop…
(oh God I almost choked I laughed so hard)
… it is unlikely he ever read the pamphlets of Thomas Paine or he would have read the arguments for separation from England were based on reason and the rights of man and not on violence against innocent women and children. Conflating Islamic terrorists with George Washington as if they operated in the same manner only shows Mos Def’s ignorance of this country’s history and lack of appreciation for the deadly threat posed by Islamic terrorists.
In Meetings, Spy Panels’ Chiefs Did Not Protest, Officials Say
By Joby Warrick and Dan Eggen
Sunday, December 9, 2007; A01 - Washington Post
In September 2002, four members of Congress met in secret for a first look at a unique CIA program designed to wring vital information from reticent terrorism suspects in U.S. custody. For more than an hour, the bipartisan group, which included current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), was given a virtual tour of the CIA’s overseas detention sites and the harsh techniques interrogators had devised to try to make their prisoners talk.
Among the techniques described, said two officials present, was waterboarding, a practice that years later would be condemned as torture by Democrats and some Republicans on Capitol Hill. But on that day, no objections were raised. Instead, at least two lawmakers in the room asked the CIA to push harder, two U.S. officials said.
“The briefer was specifically asked if the methods were tough enough,” said a U.S. official who witnessed the exchange…
With one known exception, no formal objections were raised by the lawmakers briefed about the harsh methods during the two years in which waterboarding was employed, from 2002 to 2003, said Democrats and Republicans with direct knowledge of the matter. The lawmakers who held oversight roles during the period included Pelosi and Rep. Jane Harman (D-Calif.) and Sens. Bob Graham (D-Fla.) and John D. Rockefeller IV (D-W.Va.), as well as Rep. Porter J. Goss (R-Fla.) and Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan).
The totalitarian moonbats at Daily Kos are exuberant. Possibly due to their jihad against her, conservative Rachel Marsden has been fired from the Toronto Sun after writing weekly columns for two years. The Kostards are delighted that she no longer appears on the Sun’s columnist list, yelping with joy that the paper “re-wrote history” — i.e., erased her, Stalin style, just as the Democrat Party’s Nutroots base would do to anyone who won’t guzzle their toxic Kool-Aid with sufficient enthusiasm.
Moonbats’ special ire was aroused when Marsden wrote an excellent piece endorsing waterboarding for the terrorists liberals so cherish.
Attention terrorists and Islamofascists: You can now read the Toronto Sun without having your delicate sensibilities offended, as my weekly column is no longer with Sun Media. I am currently exploring US syndication and other venues for the column. In the meantime, you can continue to read it here at RachelMarsden.com, every Monday. And yes (to respond to some of your queries), after more than 2 years of writing weekly for the Sun, I’ve been under a new Editor-in-Chief, Lou Clancy, since October 5th, who comes from Canada’s most liberal newspaper: The Toronto Star. My column about Islam was spiked on his first day at the job. Best of luck to any principled conservatives who remain.
Although this is surely only a temporary setback in Marsden’s career, there is certainly something ominous about the thugs LOTUS blog refers to as “Hugo Chavez Democrats” — unhinged bullies who will not rest until anyone who disagrees with them has been silenced.
This is a big “what if,” and definitely thinking out loud. But let’s approach this question by first acknowledging the things we do know:
1) Al-Qaida has expressed a desire to attack Los Angeles
2) Al-Qaida’s attempts to attack L.A. thus far have been thwarted, including the millennium bomber caught at the Canadian border and the foiled plot to fly a plane into the U.S. Bank Tower downtown
Now, in 2003 an al-Qaida operative in custody reportedly told officials that the terrorist group had tossed around the idea of starting wildland fires in Western states, and the FBI alerted agencies about such potential plots:
“The (Arizona) Republic reported that the detainee, who was not identified, said the plan involved three or four peoplesetting wildfires using timed devices in Colorado, Montana, Utah and Wyoming that would detonate in forests and grasslands after the operatives had left the country.
The memo noted that investigators couldn’t determine whether the detainee was telling the truth.”
Despite a bomb threat at Union City Community School the same day suspicious backpacks were found blocks away, police say the incidents are likely not related.
UNION CITY — Local schools, a senior housing facility and a church day care were evacuated at separate times Monday after a morning bomb threat at the high school and the apparent unrelated discovery of three suspicious backpacks later in the day.
The backpacks, found about four blocks away from the school, were detonated in two blasts by the Delaware County Sheriff Department’s bomb squad, Delaware County Sheriff George Sheridan said.
Let’s say you’re at Logan International Airport, the very same airport in which half of the 9-11 hijackers met on that fateful day to begin their carnage. You’re minding your own business when someone walks by holding something in their hand that looks like C4 that is hooked up to something that looks like a circuit board on the back of their hoodie by a bunch of wires. The words “Socket To Me” are written on the back of the hoodie. She’s also making a spectacle of herself while at the airport.
What would your first reaction be?
MIT’s Star Simpson did just that, for “Career Day” at school (she had been wearing the ensemble to campus for the previous few days). She was then shocked when she was promptly surrounded by airport security wielding machine guns, and then found herself in jail.
Simpson told authorities she was “surprised” she landed in jail. After all, she wrote on her Web site that she spends her free time “saving the planet from evil villains” and loves “crazy ideas.”There is absolutely nothing artistic about scaring people in public places, even if her father, Hugh Simpson, told the Maui News in Star’s native Hawaii that he was “proud” of his daughter. Then he boasted that his daughter went to a park after she was freed on $750 bail to “stretch her arms because she had been in a small room for hours and hours.”I hope she gets used to it because stupidity is not an excuse for criminality; an “art project” to attract prospective employers that terrorizes perfect strangers should certainly be a deterrent from Star Simpson ever landing a job.
But, apparently, MIT does not see it that way. It seems that Simpson had worn her bizarre ensemble for days before she showed up at Logan airport with it. All part of Career Day, she later told cops. No one on campus thought it prudent to tell her to take it off, especially considering that it is just days past the six-year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
MIT needs to throw Star Simpson off campus because her “crazy ideas” - such as wearing a hoax device at the airport where two of the planes left on that dark morning when 3,000 people were murdered in this country - are unacceptable. Her parents, who did not react with any sort of responsibility for the actions of their daughter, should forfeit any cash they paid for her tuition thus far.
Until the schools are taken to task in this town for allowing stupidity, such as thinking a fake bomb attached to a sweatshirt is art appropriate for Career Day, hardworking people in this state will continue to pay the price for over-privileged out-of-towners to use our city as their personal playgrounds.
This was captured as I collected my things from airport security (Detroit Metro Concourse A). I think of it as something like a Rorschach test. Is an elderly Catholic nun being frisked by a Muslim security agent the celebration of blind justice? Or is it simply an admission of absurdity?
Robert Spencer weighs in: “Of course there should be random searches, and no one should be exempt — if any group is exempt, its dress will soon be adopted by the terrorists. But there is an absurdity to this photo. And a hint that maybe we would do better devoting our resources to searching those who are more likely to be threats — were that not so politically incorrect.”
Investigators in Marion County, Fla., are searching for the author of nine postcards sent to different schools on the same day with the words Jihad-Boom and handwritten cartoons of a building apparently exploding with people inside.

I’m sorry people, but I’m sick of hearing about Benny Laddy, as far as I’m concerned he can go fuck himself.
Dude is dead anyway, even if he is not, he is either on a beach somewhere smoking some mean green or in Vegas harassing waitresses, picking up tricks or in a karaoke bar singing John Denver tunes.
Islamist Website Hosted in Minnesota Features Discussion on How to Attack U.S. Military Bases
Wednesday, September 5th, 2007
Found this during my blog world scan, on the MEMRI Blog
On September 3, the Islamist website www.ekhlaas.cc, hosted by SiteGenie LLC in Rochester, Minnesota, featured a discussion on ways to attack U.S. military bases. The discussion was accompanied by diagrams of military bases showing various possible plans of attack.
Ahmadinejad: “you can go home now, we will take care of Iraq”
Tuesday, August 28th, 2007
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad warned Tuesday that a power vacuum is imminent in Iraq and said that Iran was ready to help fill the gap.”The political power of the occupiers is collapsing rapidly,” Ahmadinejad said at a press conference in Tehran, referring to U.S. troops in Iraq. “Soon, we will see a huge power vacuum in the region. Of course, we are prepared to fill the gap, with the help of neighbors and regional friends like Saudi Arabia, and with the help of the Iraqi nation.”
Although Ahmadinejad did not elaborate how Iran could fill a power gap, his bold remarks reflected what may be perceived as Iran’s eagerness for an increasing role on its neighbor’s political scene.
Earlier this month, during a visit here by Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, Iranian leaders said that only a U.S. pullout would bring peace to Iraq and pledged their government would do its best to help stabilize the country.
Ahmadinejad accused the United States of interfering in Iraq’s internal affairs, and dismissed U.S. criticism of al-Maliki’s unsuccessful efforts to reconcile the country’s Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds.
“They rudely say (the Iraqi) prime minister and the constitution must change,” Ahmadinejad said. “Who are you? Who has given you the right” to ask for such a change, he added, addressing the U.S. critics of al- Maliki, who is also a Shiite.
Ahmadinejad dismissed the possibility of any U.S. military action against Iran.
“I tell you resolutely that there is no possibility, whatsoever, of such a decision in the U.S.,” Ahmadinejad told reporters. “Even, if they were to decide to do so, they would be unable to carry it out.”
U.S. has accused Iran of being behind attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq—a claim the Iraqi government has only partially backed, saying Iran could have a role in the attacks. Iran has denied the accusations.
Captain Ed asks: “Are The Wheels Coming Off For Obama?” Snoop replies, “what wheels!?”
Wednesday, August 15th, 2007
Video added… This from Captain’s Quarters, Ya see I told y’all BEFORE Obama entered the race that he was a blithering idiot, but Nooooooo, nobody listens to ole Snoop, I’m just a crazy Negro, LOL!
The primary campaign has turned into a very long dance for Barack Obama, who seems determined to prove at every opportunity that he has two left feet. In New Hampshire, Obama told a crowd that the US military effort consists mainly of “air raiding villages and killing civilians” — which his tone-deaf campaign confirmed moments later to reporters (via The Corner):
Obama defended his push to prosecute a tougher military effort to root out al-Qaida on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, which drew criticism from primary rivals for sounding too bellicose.“Now you have narco drug lords who are helping to finance the Taliban, so we’ve got to get the job done there, and that requires us to have enough troops that we are not just air raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous problems there,’’ Obama said.
Campaign spokesman Reid Cherlin said Obama was not endorsing the current Bush policy, which consists solely of air raids and bombing of civilians.
The NATO troops in Afghanistan would beg to differ. They don’t have a policy of bombing civilians, and the ground troops play a very important role in defending Afghanistan’s villages from the depravities of Taliban control. Perhaps Obama can explain his analysis of military strategy and tactics to the ground troops that get wounded in these battles — or to the families of the dead soldiers who died holding ground against the radical Islamists.
Another must read - ‘This Is The News The World Doesn’t Hear’
Der Spiegel has reflected and led overwhelming German opposition to the war in Iraq practically from the moment of the invasion in 2003. They have often featured George Bush on their cover in unflattering pictures and with negative headlines such as “Power and Lies”, an issue last year in which they declared Iraq lost. However, they finally sent their own reporter for an in-depth tour of Iraq, and the magazine realizes that the world media has missed the story (via Medienkritik):
Since June, Ramadi residents have only known the war from televison. Indeed, US military officials at the Baghdad headquarters of Operation Iraqi Freedom often have trouble believing their eyes when they read the reports coming in from their units in Ramadi these days. Exploded car bombs: zero. Detonated roadside bombs: zero. Rocket fire: zero. Grenade fire: zero. Shots from rifles and pistols: zero. Weapons caches discovered: dozens. Terrorists arrested: many.
When will the West awaken? Of course, I am not talking about your ordinary citizen or soldier but about our Talking Heads and other gate-keeping chatterers who simply refuse to “get it.”Cambridge University Press not only recalls but has promised to pulp the book that authoritatively documents one Saudi billionaire’s funding of terror; many anti-jihadic writers and all our leading mainstream media have privately apologized to this same billionaire. Only Rachel Ehrenfeld has refused to “apologize” for telling the truth and has counter-sued him in an American court of law based on her First Amendment right to tell the truth. (She was initially sued in London where she lost by default; she chose not to appear in court).
At a recent conference in Los Angeles, sponsored by the American Freedom Alliance, Daniel Pipes announced his intention to start a legal defense bail fund for those who are sued by Islamists and their Western apologists for telling the truth. Not a moment too soon–although, regrettably, perhaps too late for Ehrenfeld. And, The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has begun a process of legal intimidation against my esteemed colleague, Robert Spencer. Accordingly, David Horowitz has launched a legal defense fund for Spencer. I have pledged money to this and advise us all to do the same.
Before this war is over, we will each need legal defense funds. And that’s if we’re lucky. Those in the Islamic East need bodyguards and air-lifts to safety in the West. But there is a pattern emerging in the West which we ignore at our own peril.
For example, a leading American publisher of law enforcement and counter-terrorism titles cancelled Dr. Nancy Kobrin’s book about Islamic suicide terrorism. I wrote the Introduction for it and together Dr. Kobrin and I “went public.” A number of other publishers emerged–but they quickly disappeared too.
I have been trying to find a publisher for a book titled The Islamification of America and guess what? No takers so far. I am ready to self-publish the work.
This is a very special kind of Gulag. The internet provides us with the most sophisticated and universal of platforms for such 21st-century “samizdats.”
We who write in the America are so far lucky. We are legally intimidated. We are silenced on campuses due to the “politically correct” ideologies that rule there. True, the American Jewish Committee recently paid for a full page New York Times ad signed by American college presidents who oppose the eternally-intended British boycott of Israeli academics and who bravely suggest that they be boycotted too. Well and good.
But guess who did not sign? Harvard, Yale, Vassar, California State University at Berkeley, Los Angeles, UCLA, San Francisco State, and of course, Norman Finkelstein’s old perch, De Paul in Chicago. (Maybe I’m wrong, maybe they did sign in a Harry Potter kind of way in invisible ink).
But this is nothing compared to what Muslim intellectuals (and women and human beings) must endure in the Islamic world today. If they are lucky, they live in exile or in hiding and write under pseudonyms. A handful write openly and travel with bodyguards.
I am just told that Taslima Nasrin was, yet again, attacked by one hundred angry Muslim fanatics as she held a press conference in Hyderabad, India, to launch her new book. Nasrin, a physician and a feminist author who was born in Bangladesh, was once nearly lynched by a mighty mob there. She fled her country and lived in exile in Sweden and in hiding. Now, she lives in India where dozens of Muslim protesters, led by three lawmakers physically attacked her and her co-panelists. They demanded that India extradite her to Bangladesh (I guess for the kind of justice Bangladesh has meted out to that other hero, parliamentarian Chadhury, who was imprisoned and tortured because he wanted to visit Israel).
Her works have been banned in Bangladesh. She is being accused of being “anti-Islam.”
Islamists are moving against us in the West very carefully and in legal ways. In the overly revered “Third World” they speak in violence, their speech IS violence.
I hope that Taslima Nasrin remains safe and in India. And that the sleeping giant awakens before we have all been sued and censored into silence.
Why ‘Islamophobia’ is a brilliant term - By Dennis Prager
What do anti-Semitism, racism and Islamophobia have in common?
In fact, nothing.
But according to Islamist groups, Western media and the United Nations, they have everything in common. Anti-Semites hate all Jews, racists hate all members of another race, and Islamophobes hate all Muslims.
Whoever coined the term “Islamophobia” was quite shrewd. Notice the intellectual sleight of hand here. The term is not “Muslim-phobia” or “anti-Muslimist,” it is Islam-ophobia – fear of Islam – yet fear of Islam is in no way the same as hatred of all Muslims. One can rightly or wrongly fear Islam, or more usually, aspects of Islam, and have absolutely no bias against all Muslims, let alone be a racist.
The equation of Islamophobia with racism is particularly dishonest. Muslims come in every racial group, and Islam has nothing to do with race. Nevertheless, mainstream Western media, Islamist groups calling themselves Muslim civil liberties groups and various Western organizations repeatedly declare that Islamophobia is racism.
Hot Air audio: How one wealthy jihad supporter is using UK courts to kill American free speech
It’s difficult to overstate the importance of this story. The Chronicle of Higher Education (sub. required) on Wednesday published an article about Khalid bin Mafouz, a wealthy Saudi banker, and his successful effort to persuade the Cambridge University Press to halt the publication of four books that detail how Saudi citizens use their wealth to finance global terrorism. One of those books, Alms for Jihad, was once on sale at Amazon and elsewhere, but it has been pulled from sale and copies of it are now being pulped. Cambridge has even sent out letters to libraries that stock it and the other three books, asking for their return so that they too can be pulped, meaning they will soon disappear, burying the details they contain on how terrorism finance works and who is behind it.
Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld of the American Center for Democracy is one of the authors whose books have been subject to judicial attack by Khalid bin Mafouz. I interviewed her about the case of the censorious jihad financier, and Cambridge Press’ cowardly capitulation to him. She is the author of Funding Evil: How Terrorism is Financed and How to Stop It. She is the only author to date who is fighting back.
He quoted a genocidal comment that was made on this website yesterday, and made it appear as if I had written it. (Prager would have none of it, and spoke highly of Jihad Watch, for which I thank him, although at the end of the segment, when Hooper attributed something else to me that I have never said, Prager disavowed it and responded, “I will” to Hooper’s “Then tell Mr. Spencer that.” In fact, I do not hold and have never stated anything of what Hooper attributes to me on this show.) In reality, someone kindly alerted me to the existence of the comment shortly after it was posted, and I removed it and banned the poster.
I allow comments here because I believe in free speech and free inquiry. But in reality, I don’t endorse any of them. Some I agree with, some I don’t, some are brilliant, some are not, some apologize for jihad and defend jihadists, and some are extremely angry with jihadists — but no one can legitimately assume that I endorse any of them unless I say so. And certainly if I remove a comment, it is a clear message. Every comments field bears this heading: “Note: Comments on articles are unmoderated, and do not necessarily reflect the views of Jihad Watch or Robert Spencer. Comments that are off-topic, offensive, slanderous, or otherwise annoying may be summarily deleted. However, the fact that particular comments remain on the site IN NO WAY constitutes an endorsement by Robert Spencer of the views expressed therein.”
In a strikingly bold speech about terrorism scheduled for this morning, Democratic presidential candidate Illinois Sen. Barack Obama will call not only for a withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, but a redeployment of troops into Afghanistan and even Pakistan — with or without the permission of Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf.”I understand that President Musharraf has his own challenges,” Obama will say, according to speech excerpts provided to ABC News by his campaign, “but let me make this clear. There are terrorists holed up in those mountains who murdered 3,000 Americans. They are plotting to strike again. It was a terrible mistake to fail to act when we had a chance to take out an al Qaeda leadership meeting in 2005. If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won’t act, we will.”
I’m sorry I read this story and all I could do was laugh. After the debate blunder now dude has all of a sudden turned into SUPER NEGRO, ready to jack up the terrorists with a single blow.
Him saying he would send troops into Pakistan, particularly without the permission of President Musharraf is just bullshit and certainly not what the nutroots want to hear.
“Obama has now proven his immaturity and ignorance, and all you blind, stupid supporters have proven that you care for nothing other than what you fooliishly percieve as “power”. Welcome to the fastest way ever to start World War III. You claim to care about all the American deaths in Iraq, but you’re stupid enough to invade a nuclear power’s territory without permission. Where are your brains?”
So I’m trying to figure out just who the hell is he targeting with this nonsensical rhetoric.
So after the Korean missionaries were taken hostage by Taliban in Afghanistan, Koreans hit the streets in protest — against us, of course, demanding that forces withdraw from Afghanistan and holding signs at candlelit vigils that read “End the US-ROK alliance in Afghanistan” and “US Troops Out Now!”But now that time has dragged on, deadlines have passed, and Koreans have learned that the Afghan government can’t kowtow to Taliban demands and — surprise! — that the Taliban isn’t interested in their kaffeklatsch diplomacy or cash for hostages, they suddenly want OUR HELP!
I found over on Right Wing News. Somewhat shocking but not a surprise anymore in today’s environment. I hope this story gets more coverage to counter the deceitful terrorist loving leftist bastards.
Hello. Robert Spencer here from Jihad Watch. Several days ago I received this email:
I wanted to drop a line about the inability to access JihadWatch at work. I work for the Fed Gov. Three weeks ago, Memri was blocked. Two weeks ago HotAir, which I used to look at on my lunch break for your updates, was blocked. As of Friday,June 29th, JihadWatch was blocked. I can however, visit CAIR, read anything about Islam, and even get the Arab news. The censors I deal with are from the Dallas area. It is very easy to see that this censor is not operating according to the proper rules of access. They are operating by their political beliefs (or hopes.) It is unfortunate that these people block the very information that we need in these times….
Also, all this week I have gotten emails telling me that Jihad Watch has suddenly been blocked in all sorts of places: Fidelity Investments, JPMorgan Chase, even the City of Chicago. Word is that Jihad Watch and other sites have suddenly been labeled as purveying “hate speech.”
This is a tried and true tactic of the Left: intellectually bankrupt as it is, it silences its critics rather than dealing with them on the level of ideas. They can’t answer us, so they try to shut us up and discredit us. Leftists, as well as apologists for Islamic jihad terrorism, label their opponents “hatemongers” and “bigots,” hoping thereby to make people of good will turn away from their message. And the politicized nature of this Internet censorship will come as a surprise to no one.
In reality, Jihad Watch is dedicated to the defense of human rights for all people against those who would impose Islamic law, with its institutionalized discrimination against women and religious minorities, over both Muslim and non-Muslim societies. There is no “hatred” in this, except when we report the words of hatred and supremacism of the Islamic jihadists. We are trying to raise awareness of the nature, extent, and goals of the global jihad, which threatens everyone who loves and cherishes freedom and the equality of rights of all people before the law.
And so, we are going to fight this, as best we can, and I am sure MEMRI and HotAir are also. Today I am going to contact every organization that, according to emails I have received, has banned Jihad Watch, and urge them to remove the ban. Wherever you are working today, if you get a chance please take a moment to check if you still have access to conservative sites — and if you don’t, lodge a respectful but firm protest. Let us not take lying down being vilified and silenced, when we are telling the truth.
HERO CABBIE: I KICKED BURNING TERRORIST SO HARD IN BALLS THAT I TORE A TENDON
Thursday, July 5th, 2007
FUNNY!
By Karen Bale - article link
A HERO cabbie who took on the Glasgow Airport terror suspects told yesterday how he booted one of them in the privates.
Alex McIlveen, 45, kicked the man, whose body was in flames, so hard that he tore a tendon in his foot.
Next time don’t kick STOMP!
But he said last night: “He didn’t even flinch. I couldn’t believe he didn’t go down.
“A doctor told me later I’d damaged a tendon in my foot.”
The burned suspect was named last night as Khalid Ahmed, a Lebanese doctor.
He is critically ill with burns at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, where he is believed to have worked.
7/2/07 ( Yala, Thailand ) - Muslim radicals murder a 47-year-old rubber tapper on his way to work.
7/2/07 ( Narathiwat, Thailand ) - A 28-year-old villager is shot to death by Islamists.
7/1/07 ( Pattani, Thailand ) - Muslim terrorists fire on a group of young students, killing a 58-year-old teacher and injuring two boys, ages 9 and 11.
7/1/07 ( Pattani, Thailand ) - A woman is killed, and two other people injured when Islamic gunmen fire into a Buddhist tea shop.
7/1/07 ( Grozny, Chechnya ) - A landmine attack kills two Russians.
7/1/07 ( Helmand, Afghanistan ) - A British soldier is killed by a suicide bomber.
Moments after the latest terror attack on Britain, television commentators engaged in the usual rhetorical hara-kiri, blaming everyone but its authors: the two Muslim jihadists jumping out of a burning car at Glasgow’s international airport ululating “Allah! Allah!” — even as one of them was barbecued — and the European Union’s vast Muslim fundamentalist infrastructure, which spawned them.
The initial discussions of the three car bombs — two in central London were defused, unexploded — were déjà vu writ large: Blaming the victims, criticizing British foreign policy offenses that might have “driven” British Muslims to kill their countrymen, highlighting the frustrations of minority communities forced to live in the West, and renewing calls for — yes, indeed — more interreligious dialogue.
It was not much better in America. With live images of the Glasgow International Airport fires blazing away, American networks hosted the so-called experts who, again, explained the “torment” of poor Muslims. Disgracefully, one guest — Michael Scheuer, a former CIA analyst who is a familiar face now whenever instant analysis is needed — droned on about the many reasons Muslims are “so” offended by this or that behavior in the West.
Interesting reads today from NRO from three very good writers. The overall impression put forward by the media has been that these latest attacks by terrorists are not really al Qaeda linked because the skillset of the “would bes” lacks a certain proficiency or professionalism; this of course is due to the fact the intended outcome failed.
We wouldn’t want to discount their abilities obviously by suggesting they cannot succeed again. Yet when they have not had a successful attack, in the U.S. especially the public and media tends to discount that as though there were no threat. When they fail, the failures are looked upon as lacking that 007 aspect, so of course these cannot be real terrorists, al Qaeda or not.
“Did you really expect high-I.Q. martyrs? Maybe clever killers, but somebody should have pointed out — long since — that it isn’t very smart to blow yourself up. And for the most part, the martyrs haven’t come from the best-educated sectors of the population. But so many scribblers have been impressed by the deep faith of the suiciders, that they’ve shied away from this fairly obvious point. And one could go further. Indeed one should go further: All those parents and siblings who speak with reverence of their exploded child or brother or sister or cousin or uncle, they should be ashamed of themselves. Because they’re fools.”
Pretty much sums it up for me…let’s see, things I would rather be doing instead of blowing myself up or being some idiot fuck terrorist.

C’mon you folks I’m sure can think of some more stuff… pass on to your blog hommies!
From Moonbattery, Although I’m not surprised when I hear Democrats say really stupid shit anymore you think the people in Murtha’s inner circle would tell him “dude, shut the fuck up!, seriously just shut the hell up, not only for yourself but the party as well”
Are politicians like Murtha really that out of touch with reality, or is he seriously losing his fucken mind?

It may no longer be possible for Rep. John Murtha (D-PA) to hit new lows. But that’s no reason for him to stop trying. Now he’s blaming the plot to blow up JFK Airport not on the Islamic jihad against Western Civilization, but on America’s efforts to defend democracy from terrorists in Iraq. Bellowed Abscam Jack:
Our presence in Iraq, our occupation of Iraq gives these people the inspiration.
Terrorism is inspired by resistance to terrorism. That’s why Murtha is “absolutely convinced the first step to stability in Iraq is redeployment” — i.e., retreating and ceding Iraq to the terrorists.
He’s right of course; if we just give up instead of defending civilization, eventually there won’t be any more terrorism — just a whole lot of severed heads and women shuffling around in burkas… and not only in Iraq.
That vermin like Murtha continue to be elected regrettably indicates that al-Qaeda’s low opinion of us has some justification.
