Free Speech for Liberals ONLY!

Monday, October 9th, 2006

freespeech1.gifWow this is very timely. Recently we had Leonard Pitts visit the University of Kansas Campus. His topic was about Civil Liberties after 9/11. (I strongly recommend especially those on the right to listen to this lecture, link on top of blog)   The topic is not what matters.
It was the tone of Mr. Pitts that was a bit disturbing as he lectured and maligned right leaning types comparing them to ignorant little children.
But then you have this Hot Air segment highlighting the contempt liberals have for differing points of views and how suppressing conservative and Republican points of view is their goal and mission.
While Pitts is free to mock and malign conservative types, when Coulter visited the campus last year ignorant ass liberal types take it upon themselves to protect the rest of us from the evils of right leaning ideology.
Over the weekend I watched an episode of Tony Brown’s Journal on PBS.
Until this particular episode I had a great deal of respect of Mr. Brown.
The topic of this particular show, “What is it that prevents the Republican Party from attracting a large black vote?” Joseph Watkins, a member of the Republican National Committee’s African American Advisory Board, was to give his perspective on the question and offers some solutions. But that was hardly the case.
In all the years I have watched Tony Brown I have never personally seen him interrupt and chastise a guest like he did on this episode.
Mr. Watkins point is simple, one that I have made to individuals for years.
It’s is not logical for blacks to vote in the 90th percentile for the Democrat Party.
Blacks have far more in common with conservative ideology than they do liberals ideology.
But forget about that. If you are a black individual and you have voted your entire life for a single political entity, basically giving your vote away to a party that neither appreciates it, nor respects it and you have noticed little or no change to your situation or circumstances why would you continue to give your vote away to that representative party?
No other social or ethnic group has such a disparity (90%-10%) in voting.
Common sense would tell you that any ethnic group should split that vote, no matter what part of the country you are from or what your social or economic status is.
Blacks have been conditioned to believe that a specific political ideology/party specifically has their best interest at heart when nothing can be further from the truth.
In this episode, Mr. Brown would not allow Mr. Watkins to make that connection.
Why is that?
I believe that individuals like Mr. Brown and other black folks “in the know” are paid for by the Democratic Party to keep that ignorance at the forefront amongst black voters.

Do I believe that black individuals who are political pundits, columnist, individuals in the medial with social status and “access” are paid political fodder to keep the liberal Democrat propaganda machine running full bore? Absolutely!
Why are black conservative types portrayed as evil as a ghetto Neno Brown drug pushing thug?
If there isn’t financial incentives and access to the good life then what is it?
Ask yourself, if 20 percent of blacks voted Republican, would it not be nearly impossible for any Democrats to win an election anywhere?
Blacks have far greater control of the direction of political politics than any other ethnic group. How else do you explain people like Jessie Jackson and other silly ass black Democrats getting the kind of attention they do.
Keep black folks stupid, by any means necessary.
This explains liberals’ ridiculous behaviors at lectures, on talk shows on liberal blogs and other websites.
I have said more times than I can remember, I welcome opening the floor to liberals ideals and rants. I read many times over, liberals angst in editorials, blogs and lectures like Pitts.  And what continues to be clearer and clearer each day I process liberal nonsense is that I feel secure and grounded in my beliefs.
People like myself scare them, so keeping the truth or another point of view from people is their best weapon.
The ridiculous whining chants of campus liberals, the disrespectful tone of talk show hosts or the rants of a newspaper columnist can nor will shake my beliefs or resolve.
What are you liberal afraid of, LET THEM SPEAK!

Columbia U.: Campus gone wild
Ivy League brownshirts

Flashback: Berkeley mob

Crazy at Columbia - Washington Times

The scene is all too familiar by now: A conservative gets threatened with violence for trying to speak at an Ivy League campus.
This time the conservative was Jim Gilchrist, founder of the border-watching Minuteman Project, invited by the Columbia College Republicans to talk immigration Wednesday night. Just moments into his talk at the Manhattan school’s Roone Arledge Auditorium, two students from the International Socialist Organization climbed the stage to unfurl a banner reading “No one is illegal!” Then half a dozen or more fevered militants rushed the stage, fists waving, in a bid to intimidate.
Within moments security officers ushered Mr. Gilchrist and colleagues Marvin Stewart and Jerome Corsi — yes, that Jerome Corsi, of “swift-boating” fame — off the stage. Loud voices began chanting in Spanish “Si se pudo” — “Yes, it could be done” — drowning out any possibility of discussion. No one was reported to be hurt, thankfully. The rowdy students were neither removed by security nor arrested; instead, the speakers were ushered out.
So much for reasoned debate and free speech. Conservatives tolerate people like Ward Churchill, Cindy Sheehan and others who espouse their ideas on students around the country every day — without anything remotely resembling such intimidation.
Columbia’s officials announced that the events are “under active investigation, so “it is premature to make any official statement regarding facts that are yet to be confirmed.” Not so fast. The video circulating around the Internet late last week confirms that threats of violence warranting discipline had taken place. Why couldn’t the university promise to discipline the stage-stormers?
Its own press release makes the case. “The University deplores the disruption that took place last night at the ‘Minutemen Forum’ sponsored by the Columbia College Republicans at Alfred Lerner Hall… This much is a matter of core principle at Columbia: The freedom to speak, to pursue ideas, and to hear and evaluate viewpoints totally objectionable to our own is an essential value of this university and, indeed, of our civil society.”
Columbia officials must demonstrate a real commitment to free speech by showing that people who threaten violence and break the rules get punished. Otherwise, this is just empty rhetoric.

NBC’s Williams Showcases Left-Winger on Katrina/Race: Bushes ‘Clueless Patricians’

Tuesday, August 29th, 2006

katrina12.jpgI only watched a portion of this but if Dyson is the only credible Nigga that can come on and speak about Katrina and the issues of race then we are in fucken trouble.
Dyson makes me sick, for some odd reason is he now the designated Nigga that gets tapped to be interviewed and appear on the news and talk shows because he is seen as this intellectual and insightful brotha that will show compassion for those poor negro souls.
All of these other right wing sellout Negros who are beating up on these people in their time of need is just wrong.
Dyson can kiss my black ass and if Williams thinks he can get away with narrowing the focus of opinion on Katrina then fuck him too.
Like I said in my post last week, if the Gubment failed those people then selfish ass Niggas did too. I know niggas were watching those “horrible” images saying “glad it ain’t me down there, those niggas should have got their black asses out”
Bringing out the race card on this issue is stupid and a year later the media is still asking those questions, I am frankly shocked that more white people have not spoken louder and rejected this racism notion more vehemently.
More money has been raised for Katrina victims than any other disaster in American history, hundreds of billions of dollars, when frankly not one fucken dime should have been sent down there because of all of the ineptness and corrupt culture in Louisiana.
That money will certainly disappear into the hands of some corrupt Louisiana public officials.
Let’s also not forget that those crazy bastards voted that ignorant mayor back in office to oversee the rebuilding NOLA. The same fuck that could not manage the disaster is supposed to coordinate the rebirth of NOLA, classic.
Oh, Spike’s documentary did not mention the fact that Nigga Nagin spent a lot of his time in Dallas during the disaster, confused, clueless and cowering. That little tidbit still escapes people who examine who is at fault.
Let me stop ranting, I’m just sick of the media race bating and politicizing the issue for ratings, I’m sick of people like Dyson pimping his liberal bullshit and reporters like Williams allowing it, I’m just sick of this Katrina bullshit.
If that had happened in the Midwest the media would not be giving all of this attention to this issue. It’s just another case of white liberals using Niggas to make their case, pretending like they give a shit when they don’t.

THE STORYkatrinatoon1.gif

Looking back at Katrina a year later, NBC’s Brian Williams decided to raise the issue of race and to showcase as his sole expert, on both Monday’s NBC Nightly News and a prime time special, left-wing professor Michael Eric Dyson, author of Come Hell or High Water: Hurricane Katrina and the Color of Disaster. Williams, from New Orleans, set up his Nightly News segment by arguing the disaster “destroyed” a lot and “it exposed a lot, too, including, some say, the dicey issues of race and class in our country.” Dyson, a regular on Bill Maher’s HBO show and a professor at the University of Pennsylvania, declared: “The people in New Orleans were left behind long before the vicious winds and violent waters of Hurricane Katrina came along to wash them away.”

Williams asked: “What was your reaction when Barbara Bush said they’re really better off?” Dyson retorted: “Yeah, I’m a Christian minister man, so I always try to give love as the first response. But I’ll tell you, when Barbara Bush said that, it reinforced the reputation of the Bushes as clueless patricians, number one. Number two, inadvertently, let’s be honest, she was right at a certain level…” Williams followed up: “Were they robbed of their dignity by the government?” (Transcript follows)

dyson1.jpgSetting up another taped segment with Dyson which aired during an 8pm EDT prime time special hosted by Williams, Katrina: The Long Road Back, Williams re-played a clip of his December 12, 2005 session with President Bush, aboard Air Force One, for NBC Nightly News:

“After the tragedy, I heard someone ask rhetorically, ‘What if this had been Nantucket, Massachusetts, or Inner Harbor Baltimore or Chicago or Houston?’ Are you convinced the response would have been the same? Was there any social or class or race aspect to the response?”

Bush replied in the answer shown in December and again on Monday night:

“Somebody I heard — you know, a couple of people you know said, ‘Bush didn’t respond because of race, because he’s a racist’ or alleged that. That is absolutely wrong. And I reject that. Frankly, that’s the kind of thing that — you can call me anything you want — but do not call me a racist.”

Nigga Nagin cites racism, what a shock!

Friday, August 18th, 2006

I have said this before, I will say it again, I would not send one fucken federal dollar down to New Orleans. If those idiot negros were so stupid as to vote for a racist, ignorant bastard who abandoned the city during a major crisis I would not trust him with my tax dollars.
The entire goddamm state is made up of a bunch of idiot crooks.
We don’t need to rebuild NOLA. But nobody has the guts to say it because it’s not politically correct.
It does not have shit to do with racism. NOLA was a corrupt, murder mecca and Ray Nagin proved during a major crisis that he is a fucking bumbling idiot.
Anybody with half a brain would invest in the Mississippi gulf coast instead of NOLA.
If they keep the population down and the crackheads out and limit idiot Nagin’s chocolate city image then maybe investing in NOLA might make sense.

Nagin1.jpgNew Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin on Friday blamed racism and government bureaucracy for hamstringing his city’s ability to weather Hurricane Katrina and recover from the disaster that struck the Gulf Coast nearly a year ago.
In remarks to the annual meeting of the National Association of Black Journalists, Nagin said the hurricane “exposed the soft underbelly of America as it relates to dealing with race and class.”
“And I, to this day, believe that if that would have happened in Orange County, California, if that would have happened in South Beach, Miami, it would have been a different response,” Nagin said.
New Orleans was 60 percent black before Katrina struck Aug. 29. Early this year the mayor called on fellow blacks to again make New Orleans a “chocolate” city, but he later apologized.
On Friday, Nagin condemned federal regulations that discourage rebuilding in the largely black and low-lying Ninth Ward.
While tens of billions of dollars in federal aid have flowed to Louisiana and other states devastated by Katrina, much of it has gone to developers and contractors, Nagin said.
“Very little of those dollars have gotten to the local governments or to the people themselves,” Nagin said.
Katrina dispersed three-quarters of New Orleans’ pre-hurricane population of about 460,000 people, and today it’s a city of about 250,000. Nagin suggested that Louisiana and federal officials would prefer the city remain smaller.
He said the city is struggling to deliver services and rebuild with a quarter of its former municipal budget. The federal and state aid the city has received is inadequate and comes with too many rules, he said.
“We are being strangled, and they’re using the money to set local policies to try to take control of the city to do things that they had in mind all along, and that’s to shrink the footprint, get a bunch of developers in the city, and try to do things in a different way,” Nagin said.
“We’re not going to let that happen. They’re going to give us our money, and we’re going to rebuild this city.”

Sharpton: ‘Gangsterism’ Harming Blacks, WTF!

Friday, August 18th, 2006

   sharpton2.jpg

I found this article on Drudge, I love to hear about a Democratic thug talk about ‘Gangsterism’?! Is that a fucken disease or something. Must be like Sickle Cell, it only affects negros.
Read the FULL ARTICLE is you wish but I like the last paragraph in the story, the real purpose of the article:

Sharpton said, however, that the media should be careful before reporting that blacks are moving toward Republican leadership positions, as this year’s black GOP candidates “may be yesterday’s news come November.”

Yup people I’m noticing a pattern here. More and more websites and blogs are starting
To run the “KEEP NIGGAS DEMOCRAT” blog post and articles.
There must be real pressure out there with black folks starting to come to their senses and at the very least possible think about not automatically pissing their vote away to the Democratic candidate.
I’m sure soon you will hear about that moron Dick Gregornigga, Harry Belanigga or Danny Glovanigga get on some stage somewhere and rant about those racist Republicans and the house niggas who support them.
Ah I can’t wait for the fun.

It’s a conspiracy!!

Wednesday, August 16th, 2006

mckinney2.JPGAUGUSTA, Ga. — Rep. Cynthia McKinney, in her first public appearance since losing her re-election bid last week, said Tuesday that the black community needs to oppose electronic voting machines, which she warned can be used to steal elections.

McKinney also said the state of Georgia should prohibit crossover voting among political parties in primary elections and end its system of runoff elections.

The fiery Democratic congresswoman, who scuffled with a Capitol Hill police officer earlier this year and has accused the Bush administration of having advance knowledge of the Sept. 11 attacks, said she considers herself a “black political paramedic,” and the “black body politic is near comatose.”

McKinney made the remarks during the National Dialogue and Revival for Social Justice in the Black Church, sponsored by the Rev. Al Sharpton’s group, the National Action Network. The Augusta crowd, estimated at fewer than 200 people, gave her a standing ovation when she was introduced and again when she finished speaking.

Last week McKinney lost her bid for a seventh term in Congress. Hank Johnson, a former DeKalb County commissioner, defeated her 59 percent to 41 percent in the Democratic runoff. Johnson, like McKinney, is black, and so are most people in the suburban Atlanta district.

Idiot Liberals and the Classic Race Card Rant

Wednesday, August 16th, 2006

blackface31.jpgI found this wonderful piece on Fire Dog Lake, the same website that featured the idiot racist fuck who posted the Libermann in blackface shit.
The idiot liberals are pulling out all the stops. Going back to the old tired Republicans are racist bullshit.
I’m tracking back to this post and I hope the author of this stupid drivel finds this but any idiot fuck who wants to forward the notion that racists are affiliated with a political party is a fucken lunatic.
Racist white people are everywhere, in all income brackets, religious faiths, geographical regions and education levels.
They are white and blue collar, geeks and freaks, Italians and Irish, Republican AND Democrat.
I’m a Republican and a conservative you dumbass because of what liberalism stand for.
They are anti American, governs out of pity, they detest religion and malign people of faith. They are poverty pimps, insist that negros need special help and treatment.
Liberals are elitist fucks they are only tolerant of other cultures only if it can get them votes.
You believe in your self proclaimed intellectual superiority and supreme understanding of the world around you which entitles you to micro manage and chastise the world around you if it is not to your liking.
The photo below of John Kerry giving the “Black Power” salute says it all about liberals.
A bunch of phony idiot terrorist loving jackasses.
When Howard Dean says, “You think the Republican National Committee could get this many people of color in a single room?,” Dean asked to laughter. “Only if they had the hotel staff in here,” you idiot bastards don’t say jack.
When that idiot bitch put Liebermann in blackface you thought it was poignant and funny and the rest of us just did not understand.
This blog, like all other liberal blogs are as white as you can get. I find it amusing when they throw out the racist tag and act is if they are down with the brothas.

peta2.jpgLiberals only give a shit about black folks when it is useful to them. Take the PETA ad campaign where they used images of black folks and compared them to the torture of animals. And you want to talk about a idiot token negro, Dick Gregory was too stupid to not recognize that these idiot white liberals used his dumbass to promote that racist bullshit.

Fucken idiot son of a bitch. I got your token right here you idiot fuck.
Just because the majority of negros want to follow the liberal plantation shit does not mean I’m going to. Fuck Kanye West, Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton and the rest of the bitch ass liberal negros who get wealthy of the backs of poor uneducated negros.
The funny thing is, one day black folks are going to wake the fuck up and at the very least start to leverage their vote like every other ethnic group. And when that day comes you idiot Democrats and liberals will be permanently out of power.
So feel free to keep playing the race card, its value diminishes more and more each day.

Direct link to post

As we were discussing last night, since Ned Lamont won the Connecticut Senate primary, the intervening six days have seen the Republican party going out of its way to show its true colors with regards to its (very) thinly veiled racist agenda and its intolerance toward people of color and white people who support them.  Of course, it goes way beyond that, but that’s as good a place to start as any.

The bottom line is that the Republican party is an elite club for wealthy whites and token minorities who will join their ranks and spew racist swill alongside their white brethren.  Anyone who tells you differently is a liar, and anyone (like Ann Coulter or Michelle MalKKKin) who insists that liberals are the real racists is either mentally ill or they’re simply being willfully obtuse.

But let’s look at the evidence, shall we?

Back in April, this blog featured a series of posts dedicated to exposing the writhing grub-white underbelly of modern GOP racism in the blogging world and in the world of talk radio and television news and beyond.  All the posts in the series were outstanding, and the message that came blaring through loud and clear at the end of the series was that today’s Republican party is merely a JC Penney White Sale away from its cross-burning, lynching, Jim Crow roots.  A mere 40 years separate us from the forced integration of the southern states, when segregationist Democrats in the south crossed party lines to become Republicans and moderate blackpower.jpgRepublicans opposed to American apartheid left the GOP to become Democrats.

40 years is not a very long time.  Many of the wealthy white men in positions of power within the GOP made their political fortunes in this era and today, from their perches high on their ivory towers of privilege, they continue to push policy and political initiatives which routinely disenfranchise minority Americans.  Who could forget Trent Lott’s ham-fisted attempt to justify the segregationist views of Strom Thurmond’s 1948 presidential campaign?

“I want to say this about my state: When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We’re proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn’t have had all these problems over all these years, either,” Lott said at last week’s party.

Reality-based English translation: “These problems” equals “uppity ni&&@rs”, TIMEOUT!

AH JUST USE THE WORD YOU STUPID BASTARD YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO SAY IT, NIGGERS!

i.e., “If Strom Thurmond had won the presidential race and upheld racial segregation in this country, fat white chucklefucks like me would have a lot easier time maintaining our choke-hold on the reins of power.”

The RNC clean-up squads were dispatched, Lott was forced to apologize, and faced a nominal punishment, as is the likely fate of Virginia Republican George Allen, who is currently under fire for calling a 20-year-old Virginia man “Monkey Boy” in Tunisian slang and “welcoming” him to America, because OBVIOUSLY a brown-skinned liberal person couldn’t actually be born and raised in lily-white Virginia!  Of course, the staffer, S. R. Siddarth was born and raised in Virginia, but to a Real Republican, that’s simply not enough.  You have to be born and raised in America with skin whiter than Ivory Soap to be a “Real American” like George Felix Allen, Timothy McVeigh, or Unabomber Ted Kaczynski.

lootingfinding.jpgThen take into account the push by a group of southern Republicans to derail the Voting Rights Act earlier this summer, which, thankfully, failed.  But how about my own state’s Photo ID voting requirements, which are being pushed on the public by the same legislators opposed to the renewal of the Voting Rights Act, and which is vigorously opposed by state Democrats, the Southern Poverty Law Center and other progressive organizations.  Not to mention the staggering indifference shown by FEMA and the administration toward the stranded victims of Hurricane Katrina.  Mike Chertoff had to be told in a live interview by NPR’s Robert Siegel that the Convention Center was even there, let alone that a few thousand people were trapped there in desperate hunger, filth, and fear.

But if you back up and look at the even bigger picture, the Republican party’s entire 2006 electoral agenda is based around punishing people for not being white.  Republicans on Immigration equals Stop the Evil Brown-Skinned Latino Hordes from Coming Here to Live.  Republicans on Terrorism equals Stop the Evil Brown-Skinned Arabs and Islamic Asians from Blowing Up Our Planes and Bridges.  Republicans on Ned Lamont equals PLEASE Stop the Evil Black Voters from Banding Together and Forming a Legitimate Threat to Our All-White Boys’ Club.  The time has come to punch through their codified euphemisms and strike at the truth of their rhetoric.  Republicans are melanin-ophobics.

Kanye West was right.  Republicans are the Party of Racism.  So, start pinning them to the wall on it.  Ask a Republican, “Why do you hate black people?” or “Why are you so scared of Mexicans?” or “Why do you think that all Arabs are terrorists?”

REPUBLICANS ARE RACIST FUCKERS.  STOP LETTING THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS SHIT.

Ask Ann Coulter what she really means about Maxine Waters and Affirmative Action, or MalKKKin and her Reconquistas.  Ask George Allen why he calls brown-skinned people monkeys.  Ask the Weakly Standard what the fushizzuck they meant by that stupid cover with Al Sharpton as Step N Fetchit. beware-bush.jpg

The gilmpses of Old School White Fright we get when these dullards slip up and speak their minds are not aberrations.  It’s when the real soul of the Party of Bigots slips its leash and evades its handlers and jumps out, however briefly, for us all to see.  Then the handlers and spinners come out and tell us, “You saw nothing!  You heard nothing!  The views Sentaor Whitey McCracker espoused in his unfortunate remarks do NOT represent the views of the GOP and blah de blah diddy blah…”

And that’s the big lie.  Is your skin is a half-tone darker than a tan paper bag?  More?  Then, my friend, you are The Enemy to the Republican Party.  Unless of course, you want to act, dress, think, talk, and legislate from a position somewhere to the right of Adolph Eichmann, THEN (and only then) are you welcome in the Republican tent, but first you have to be willing to sell out and actively work against other minority people.  Only then do you become the kind of useful idiot the Republicans so desperately want on their side.

So, Firedogs, let’s call them out.  Coulter, MalKKKin, Glenn Beck, William Bennett, George F. Allen, Krauthammer, Kristol, and Lott (oh, my!), Limbaugh, Hannity, John Gibson, and all the rest.  It’s time for them to know that we see through their thin layer of PR spin all the way to the ugly all-white heart of racist, Repugnican America.  This is 2006, fer fuck’s sake!  Plantation America is no longer a viable concept.  Unacceptable.  And it’s up to us to raise the necessary Hell to call the public’s attention to the true, viciously exclusionary nature of the Reich Wing.

ATTACK!!  ATTACK!!  ATTAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!

Who’s with me?

THE ISSUE: Al Sharpton’s/Jackson’s support of Ned Lamont in the Connecticut Democratic primary.

Tuesday, August 8th, 2006

jessejacksonmug.jpgSome comments I found:

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are hitting the trail for the challenger of Sen. Joe Lieberman, and this is considered a woe for the senator (”New Woe for Senator Joe,” Aug. 2)?
How sad is our political state of affairs when a racist and an extortionist rooting for your opponent is considered an affliction? What has become of the Democratic Party?
Michael Patracuolla
Bloomfield, N.J.

******

The fact that self-promoter Sharpton is supporting Ned Lamont should tell people they should support Lieberman.
Sharpton and his extreme left-wing progressives only support the hate-Bush crowd and don’t support defeating terrorism. Why does someone like Sharpton have so much power in what was once the Democratic Party?
Linda Bergin
Montclair, N.J.

******
Is anyone shocked that two noted anti-Semites are campaigning against one of the country’s most popular Jews?

This has more to do with their religious beliefs than their political philosophy.
David Fields
Maywood, Ill.

******
Are the Democrats in Connecticut so shallow and faithless to fire an effective senator in favor of a political hack with no principles or positions?  As a servicemember and, therefore, a class enemy to many Democrats, I have nothing but respect for Lieberman and nothing but disdain for his part-time party friends.                                                           Are the concepts of courage and principle unknown to the people of Connecticut, or is the will of the party above everything else?
Donald Mills

******
Sharpton has been nothing but a political pimp and Jackson, a political bully.

Lieberman is one of the most decent men in our dysfunctional government. He is, perhaps, too good because, over the years, he has risen above name-calling and has tried to raise the level of dialogue.

Perhaps Sharpton and Jackson want their way, the bully way, to reign in the United States, but I would be very frightened to see their crew in charge of my country.
Patsy Robertson
Atlanta, Ga.

More on ole Jessie. 13 Feb 1984 The Washington Post reports that Jesse Jackson refers to Jews as “Hymies” and New York City as “Hymietown” in private conversations with journalists.

But to goes further than that…. Here is a portion of an old story that focuses on Jackson:

To understand why, let us return to 1979, the penultimate year of Carter-era malaise. It was the year American embassy workers were taken hostage by Islamic berserkers in Iran. It was the year the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan. It was the year Soviet-backed Sandinista forces overthrew the government of Nicaragua. And it was the year that Jesse Jackson found a soul mate in Yasser Arafat.

The story of Jesse’s love affair with Yasser is well-documented by Kenneth Timmerman in his best-selling Shakedown, which devotes an entire chapter to this ugly episode in Jackson’s career, and one that will come as news to folks who think Jackson’s only brush with Jew-bashing was his infamous “Hymietown” remark in 1984.

In August of 1979, Carter sacked Andrew Young, his ambassador to the United Nations, after the black former mayor of Atlanta met privately with the Palestinian Liberation Organization’s man at the U.N. Jackson, a friend of Young’s, publicly insinuated that Jews brought down Young, and complained that Jews were false friends of blacks.

A month later, Jackson announced he would go to Beirut to meet with Arafat, who was living in exile there. Citing media reports at the time, Timmerman quotes Jackson as telling Arab-American supporters gathered at PUSH headquarters: “By October 1, there will be no black leader left willing to come to the aid of the Palestinian cause, if there is not an immediate infusion of funds into the black community from the Arab states.”

Two weeks later, Jackson and his entourage took off for Israel on a junket paid for by Arab donors. When Israeli prime minister Menachem Begin failed to turn up at the airport to greet the American preacher, an insulted Jackson gave a news conference in which he intimated that racism might be behind the snub. Days later, Jackson visited Yad Vashem, the national memorial to Holocaust victims, where, according to personal notes made by a liberal clergyman traveling with him, Jackson equated the incineration of six million Jews to American slavery. Newsweek quoted Jackson as saying that “a persecution complex … almost invariably makes Jews overreact to their own suffering,” and Jackson was quoted elsewhere as saying that he was “sick and tired of hearing about the Holocaust.”  READ THE FULL STORY HERE - CALLED PLO’s Man - From National Review - April 3, 2002

Black Vote A Key In Primaries

Monday, August 7th, 2006

blackvoters.JPG

By:  Stan Simpson - The Hardford Courant

Article Link

This is when I knew things were getting desperate for Joe Lieberman: A few weeks back two of the senator’s operatives called me - unbeknownst to each other, I think - to express indignation about Ned Lamont quitting an elite country club. Reportedly, as Lamont neared a decision to challenge Lieberman, he realized the club wasn’t “diverse” enough.

Camp Joe was suggesting that Lamont’s withdrawal was one of political convenience, which it was of course. The more subtle dig was that maybe Lamont has other issues about race that should be explored. I didn’t take the bait.

Lamont is a rich white guy from homogenous and obscenely affluent Greenwich. Belonging to a high-priced private golf club was not going to stir any outrage from me, unless it could be proven that the club had a policy that excluded non-whites.

We’d also have to check, I added, the club memberships of all 100 United States senators - including Lieberman’s - to see how diverse the groups they belonged to were. Better yet, did their staffs reflect the complexion of Lamont’s former golf club? I don’t think Camp Joe wanted to go there.

This week’s e-mails included a link from a Lieberman aide forwarding me to a Lamont-supporting blogger who doctored a picture of Lieberman into a black face character as he stood next to Bill Clinton.

OK, I was offended. But it wasn’t about Lamont; it was about a so-called “liberal” blogger clueless about the insensitivity of putting a white man in an Amos ‘n’ Andy-style black face.

The larger point of all this is that in recent weeks, race has become an integral part of these highly competitive state primaries. The black vote in particular is being heavily courted as Tuesday’s election approaches.

Actor Danny Glover will be in the state today to support New Haven Mayor John DeStefano, who also had recent visits from Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. DeStefano’s gubernatorial primary opponent Mayor Dan Malloy of Stamford countered with state Treasurer Denise Nappier, former New Haven Mayor John Daniels, New Haven state Rep. William Dyson and Hartford minister the Rev. Alvan Johnson on his black VIP list. Lamont has had Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Sharpton and Jackson in state talking him up. Lieberman trumped them all by bringing in Clinton - the first black president - for the Waterbury stop.

Here’s the thing for Connecticut’s African American voters, who make up about 11 percent of the population: Though Dems have historically taken for granted the black vote,

TIMEOUT: Oh shit you mean negros know this but still are willing to kiss Democrat ass for table scraps, what the hell!

these primary candidates need it in a big way to win. The support this time should be leveraged for an agenda that includes more resources for better public schools, economic development - even promises of a diverse administrative staff.

“In a real close primary, all the candidates realize that when you look around Connecticut and the urban centers, you cannot win without people of color,” said consultant I. Charles Mathews, a former Hartford deputy mayor. There are four potential swing votes Tuesday - senior citizens; African Americans and Latinos; unaffiliated voters who become Democrats; and voters casting absentee ballots.

“The organized black Democrats have been very active,” said the Rev. Alvan Johnson of Bethel AME Zion Church in Bloomfield. “But now they’re strategically placed to swing all the races.” WHO ARE THEY KIDDING…

Let the courtship continue.

McKinney Campaign Website Uses Racial Slurs, Critic Says

(CNSNews.com) - Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.), who charged last March that the Capitol Police harassed her because she is “a female black Congresswoman,” allows posters on her re-election website to use racial slurs, a conservative black leader says.

Prominently featured on McKinney’s campaign site are messages from people supporting the Georgia Democrat who refer to Republicans as “good ol’ boy cracker-crats” and call a former Democratic opponent “an Oreo black candidate.”

On the front page of the site, Greg Palast, an investigative reporter with the BBC, says: “The good ol’ boy cracker-crats of the Republican Party are having themselves a regular hootenanny over allegations that Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney landed a punch on a security guard at the Capitol.”

She later apologized for hitting the officer with her cell phone, saying: “I know that the Capitol Hill Police are securing our safety, that of thousands of others, and I appreciate the work that they do. I deeply regret that the incident occurred.”

McKinney, who represented the mostly African-American Fourth District of Georgia from 1992 to 2002 and regained her seat in 2004, also links to an article entitled “The Beloved Cynthia McKinney” from Michael Ruppert, a former police detective from Los Angeles who says he is a friend of McKinney’s.

In the article, Ruppert attacks former Rep. Denise Majette (D-Ga.) with a racial epithet. Majette defeated McKinney in the Democratic primary in 2002 after the district had been redrawn. She served one term in the House before running for a seat in the U.S. Senate.

“An Oreo black candidate named Denise Majette emerged as lots of money poured from the coffers of the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) funded not only a hate campaign against McKinney, but in support of her opponent as well,” Ruppert wrote.

“Illegally, thousands of Republican voters crossed over to vote for the Oreo in the primary while the seat stayed safely Democratic, and all were quietly relieved when Cynthia didn’t even make it to the general election,” he continued.

Mychal Massie, chairman of the conservative group Project 21, said McKinney is responsible for the comments made by her “loyal fledglings.”

“This is on her website; she is responsible for what is on her website,” he said.

Massie told Cybercast News Service the comments are “morally opprobrious. They are disgusting, they are not worthy of any person, much less persons who occupy public office, and are sworn to act in the best interests of all people regardless of color, race or ethnicity.”

“They are just wrong, but they are obviously not out of character for Cynthia McKinney or her fledglings,” he said.

“Cynthia McKinney has time and time again risen to the lowest common denominator to show forth her lack of character, her lack of professionalism, her lack of decorum and her lack of respect for rule of law or for the provisions that govern others,” Massie stated.

“She is not worthy, she is not fit to grace the halls of Congress,” he added. “She brings with her a hatred, an animus and a racism that should have left America at the end of Jim Crow.”

Calls made to Cynthia McKinney’s campaign office seeking comment for this article were not returned by press time.
