Guess I won’t be calling Mika Brzezinski a “newsreader” again anytime soon. She went to Iowa over the weekend and scored an in-depth interview with Michelle Obama that included a highly-controversial suggestion from the candidate’s wife.
According to Mrs. Obama, her husband isn’t polling better among African-Americans because in the back of their minds, many blacks think “others” are better.
View video here.
I remember an episode of Sanford and Son as a little kid, where Fred had to go to the doctor, or dentist I think and he “insisted” that his doc be not only white, but a Jew. Yes that is a fictional show but I’m telling y’all this is very real in the black community. Amongst our own folks anything black is typically inferior.
Quickly my own personal take, for several years prior to moving I had a black doctor and dentist. I had a great relationship with them and they were decent dudes in all but it wasn’t until I moved and found a really good young, white female doctor that I discovered I has some serious health issues that somehow were missed by my brotha docs.
Long story short, the “discovery” of my diabetes, and high blood pressure, more detailed analysis of some of my chronic back pains, more detailed discovery and analysis of my diet and need for exercise.
More detailed test on my eyes and minor skin problems, what I’m getting at folks is why did my new community and hence my new docs do FAR more detailed scrutiny that my much older experienced black docs, who should have been more versed in these ailments typically found in black males?
Let me tell you, I had the same “black is inferior” complex, but I went to many of the black health care professionals mostly out of let’s just say “community pressure” and at the time political expediency. I worked in the black community on a number of issues and I was a visible presence particularly working on community health issues, and I wanted to show support for black health care professionals.
Again what does this have to do with black supporting Obama? Well I guarantee you much of what Mrs. Obama discusses in this interview is part of why dude is not getting near as much political support from blacks as maybe he should.
NOW having said that, as dude says at the end of the video clip “blacks are under no obligation to support him, based solely on his race.” That would just be stupid. Also Hillary was married to “the first black president,” and black folks are very loyal, LOL!
Again, what I have said in another post today and have been saying all along, a black man has ZERO chance of being president. And make no mistake I’m not the only black dude who would say this. I’m just up front about it, whereas most black people would keep this to themselves or would only say this only in the company of other black people.
Michelle Obama is going to get some big time grief for spilling black folks business into the streets. But this black inferiority complex shit is “fo real!” Obama is just another casualty of this ongoing psychological struggle in the minds of way too many black folks.
A great deal of blacks, typically the “less educated” will hitch to that Hillary train no matter what.
They know that train will take them much further in their minds. Black folks you see are “limited” in how far they can go.
More George Soros education from the blog Texas Rainmaker
Sphere: Related ContentIn 2003, George Soros declared that defeating President Bush is the central focus of his life.
Apparently his scorched earth approach also includes trying to tear down the basic pillars of our country.
He aggressively supported campaign finance reform under the guise of “reduc[ing] the corrupting influence of very large donors to political parties and candidates.” Then he drove a mack truck through the loopholes in that legislation and became one of the single, largest donors to political parties and candidates.
He uses his “Open Society Institute” to funnel cash from those “very large donors” (including himself) to groups designed to undermine the U.S. government…
Partnering with the Tides Foundation in 2004, Soros’ organization helped the Kerry campaign funnel money into a group of 9/11 widows who were campaigning against Bush.
He gave millions to Americans Coming Together, a group focused on committing election fraud.
He’s also thrown millions of dollars behind Moveon.org, a group focused on perpetuating lies about President Bush in the 2004 election and more recently publishing a full page ad in the New York Times calling a United States Military General a liar.
So what did Soros do when all the money he spent to undermine the elections went to waste? He started a new back channel of contributions designed at undermining the current U.S. administration.
And it’s hardly been the model of openness he and his organization claim to achieve.
Have you heard about the latest “controversy” involving Rush Limbaugh that has been made up from scratch by Media Matters and relentlessly promoted by the left side of the blogosphere? Well, no worries, I’ll tell you all about it.Here’s what Media Matters is claiming Rush Limbaugh said, Limbaugh: Service members who support U.S. withdrawal are “phony soldiers.”
Now, you might actually conclude from reading that headline that Rush Limbaugh said that, Service members who support U.S. withdrawal are “phony soldiers.”
Actually, he didn’t.
Once again, here’s the headline, from Media Matters,
Limbaugh: Service members who support U.S. withdrawal are “phony soldiers.”
Continue reading here what Rush Limbaugh actually said, during a conversation with a caller. Also go to his site Rushlimbaugh.com if you REALLY give a shit.

But first My two cents:
Ah hell I was not sure I wanted to post this, but since dude on Right Wing did a piece on this “phony” outrage, I figured my Poop readers should get the 411.
You know while on one hand I really getting tired of Media Matters and their blatant distortion of the facts on shit they have on their site, I kinda understand why they do what they do and why they are so successful at smear.
I heard on Rush’s show some of the comments made by some liberal Democrats denouncing what Rush said, I always have to remind myself that Democrats and liberals are never interested in truth, it’s simply about winning and Media Matters knows that the majority of their kook constituents only priority is getting their people in office at all costs.
Now don’t get me wrong, the purpose of this blog is to post stuff that interests me and my political views and yes, I want “my side to win.”
But I have never knowingly posted 411 here that I knew was bullshit just so I can make a fucking cheep political point.
Democrats must use deception to stay in power, but the scary thing is it works like a charm.
I’m dumbfounded at how many websites posted bullshit about O’Reilly and how they took his comments out of context when after reading further, few if any actually read or heard the comments themselves.
I’m perplexed at the vast differences in simple logic between the right blogsphere and the left.
Blogger on the right, in most cases go out of their way to get to the bottom of a story or issue and actively seek to get as much firm details on an issue as possible and the rarely comment and post shit unless they have their fucken facts straight.
Media Matters has these crackpot liberals by the mental ballz. It’s apparent that liberals can’t process information unless it has been pissed on by Media Matters.
Here are a few examples:
(link) Media Matters for America is calling attention to a Rush Limbaugh rant from his show on Wednesday in which he dismisses U.S. troops, including those now serving in Iraq, who disagree with President Bush’s stay-until-victory strategy as “phony soldiers.”
And my colleague Jeff Fecke at Blog of the Moderate Left wonders whether those, including Sen. Norm Coleman, who were outraged by the MoveOn.org ad that was insufficiently respectful toward Gen. David Petraeus, will bring equal energy to denouncing Limbaugh for being insufficiently respectful toward some of the troops.*********
(link) Following the MoveOn non-controversy, some of our local dingbats went on a largely unnoticed mini-crusade to get WA-08 Congressional candidate Darcy Burner to condemn the anti-war organization’s ad. Now that Rush Limbaugh has said something that was considerably more offensive to our men and women in uniform, we’re certain that Mark Gardner and the rest of the fair and balanced wingnutosphere will demand WA-08 Congressman Dave Reichert condemn Limbaugh’s remarks.
****
Will Norm Coleman denounce Rush Limbaugh for “phony soldiers” comment?
*******Pallone Blasts Rush Limbaugh, Implies Republicans are Hypocrites
Earlier today Republican hero and recovering drug addict Rush Limbaugh slandered thousands of American soldiers who are risking their lives overseas as “phony soldiers.” Why? Solely because they question the rationale for the Iraq War.
*****
(link) How about leading conservative host Rush Limbaugh, a man who has regularly interviewed the president, vice-president, and numerous other conservative Republican luminaries?
During the September 26 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, Rush Limbaugh called service members who advocate U.S. withdrawal from Iraq “phony soldiers.”
From the DCCC:
Chairman Chris Van Hollen Condemns Rush Limbaugh’s Outrageous Comment that Soldiers Who Support Withdrawing From Iraq Are “Phony Soldiers”
“Rush Limbaugh’s personal attack on our men and women in uniform is reprehensible. It minimizes the sacrifice our troops in Iraq and their families are making and has no place in the public discourse. Rush Limbaugh owes our military and their families an apology for his hurtful comments that minimize their service to our country.”
******
(link) John Amato: “I’m calling on the Senate to pass an amendment or uphold their latest one and condemn Rush Limbaugh’s cowardly acts on our troops! Soldiers from the 82nd Airborne in Iraq wrote a NY Times op-ed—criticizing the war in Iraq, and had the bravery to suggest that it was time to develop an exit strategy. Two of them just died. Are they phonies, Rush? Where’s the “sense of the Senate” on this outrage?
Let me be clear, I don’t give a shit that you oppose the U.S. being in Iraq, or oppose our Middle East policy, or how we use our troops or what our military priorities should be.
When I read lefty blog I’m interested in the discourse many provide and of course I don’t agree with much of it, but I think it’s important for me to be knowledgeable on issues and to remain grounded in my viewpoints I have an obligation (to myself) to be informed, understand and comprehend opposing viewpoints without filters. Whether it’s Media Matters or the MSM, John Stewart, Keith Olberman on the left, Newsbusters, Rush, O’Reilly on the right.
Especially since I dedicate so much time keeping up this paltry blog
Through my extensive blog reading on the right and left, watching the MSM, watching a lot of You Tube and taking in countless other political information sources I have a pretty fair grasp on the world around me and one thing that Rush taught me when I first started listening to his show (from day one) and why no other on air pundit comes close to him is he encourages his listeners to seek out the truth. Don’t simply take his word on issues, read and hear the bullshit on the left for yourself.
You should never be afraid at seeking opposing viewpoints and listening to opposing viewpoints.
This is why people who say they don’t watch Fox News are cowards and tells you everything you need to know about them intellectually.
I would never EVER, encourage anyone NOT to listen to a MSM network, a liberal talk show host, or a source like the NY Times, it’s not even logical.
Far too many people are just too fucken lazy to seek the truth on issues and choose to allow their minds to be filtered.
This is not about “standing up for” Rush, dude is a fucken multi-millionaire, he could care less what I think.
This is about simple honesty. If the goal of the left and lefty blogsphere is simply to WIN then by all means distort, lie, manipulate, conceal. Ignorance is obviously bliss in the liberal world.

Ja Rule recently spoke out about the upcoming U.S. Congressional hearing set to discuss the lyrical content and imagery of African-American women in hip-hop. As SOHH previously reported, the aforementioned hearing entitled “From Imus to Industry: The Business of Stereotypes and Degradation” will take place on September 25 and will investigate media “stereotypes and degradation” of black women in hip-hop and the entertainment industry.Top industry executives including Philippe Dauman of Viacom, Doug Morris of Universal Music Group, Edgar Bronfman, Jr. of Warner Music Group and music mogul Master P are expected to appear as witnesses in the hearing.
In a recent interview with Complex magazine, Ja Rule offered his objections to the hearings.
“They got my man Doug Morris under fire and shit, they got him going down to go speak to Congress about hip-hop lyrics, are you fucking serious?” Ja said. “There’s a fucking black kid right now about to get 25 years for having a fight with some white kids over hanging the nooses over the white tree, let’s get to that. Let’s get into shit like that, because that’s what’s tearing up America, not me calling a woman a bitch or a hoe on my rap songs.”"And if it is, then we need to go step to Paramount, and fucking MGM, and all of these other motherfuckers that’s making all of these movies and we need to go step to MTV and Viacom, and lets talk about all these fucking shows that they have on MTV that is promoting homosexuality, that my kids can’t watch this shit,” he continued. “Dating shows that’s showing two guys or two girls in mid-afternoon. Let’s talk about shit like that! If that’s not fucking up America, I don’t know what is.”
“There’s a lot of issues we can address besides hip-hop, but they want to put everything on us like we’re the problem,” Ja added. “This is going to be a shameless fucking plug, but I said, ‘when everyone wants to point the finger, and ask why there’s so much corruption, they only need to look in the mirror.’ It starts with themselves.”
Ok now I don’t want y’all to get the wrong idea here but in defense of rap, dude is correct on some of this. The porn industry, run by white people takes in billions of dollars, we have a show on Showtime called “Weeds”, a white suburban chick who sells weed to her white friends, in her white community. The BAD people are all of the minorities. The drug dealers are the blacks and the Mexicans! Dexter a white dude who is a fucken serial killer, on Oprah yesterday she had this crazy ass couple talking about open marriage, again the majority of these people engaging in this crazy shit is white folks.
Many shows now feature a gay character and 9 times out of 10 the gay character is a minority!
Few shows even attempt to cast a NORMAL black man or woman as the main character.
The majority of rap and hip hop music is purchased by white kids; you think there are enough young black kids out there able to buy enough music to make these crazy bastards as wealthy as they are?
All of these nasty ass sadistic slasher movies and shows like Jackass featuring the most repugnant and ignorant crazy shit you can think of and people love that retarded shit.
Yes, rappers need to take some responsibility but to single them out is just fucken disingenuous.
Black people don’t own shit, black folks don’t even own BET, name the network, radio broadcast network, delivery system, video game production, internet broadcast, movie production studio, porn production, they are all own by white people hellooooooo!
Putting all of this degradation of society on a few rappers is just bullshit, but we need a scapegoat and who better than a bunch of loud, gold tooth ranting faux street thugs.
This is the real issue!

Regarding your having excoriated Ron Paul for his “racist diatribe”, I would like to make a statement and then ask you a question. The statement is that the Census Bureau (which has a heavy black employment pool) gives this statistic: black males under 21 commit 49 times more murders than whites under 21. The question is “If your wife or daughter were out driving in a large city and her car broke down at 2:00 a.m., if she had to break down either in an all-black area or an all-Korean area, would it make any difference to you? If you answer yes, you are a hypocrite.
If you answer no, you are either a liar or a moron.
Nice choices, aren’t they?
********
Ya see I like dealing with this first thing in the morning, this may take a minute so I have to get some coffee.
Ok I was never going to bring up Ron Paul again; I was done with fucking with him and his adoring fans. Damm is he still in the race?
Man this is why some of you white people just amuse the shit out of me me. I know most of you have far more common sense that this individual, but still way too many have this “team” mentality when it comes to race issues. What I mean by that is “we white folks are better than you black folks.”
Because some of you are underachieving, ignorant, isolated emotionally and or mentally some of you are required to pull out the “white is good, Niggers bad” card.
Oh don’t get me wrong, black folks do it too. The nationalistic brothas who will pull out the “we were building civilizations, while you white people were in caves” bullshit. I know you heard it.
Black folks who like to pimp the virtues of successful Negros in the past so they can puff out their chest and act like “they” did something.
But this discussion is about this ignorant ass who I guess is challenging me to come up with an excuse as to why black folks commit more crime, murders, are in prison, and are unemployed.
Anybody who had read this blog knows I have never made any excuses for black people and the stupid shit they do. In fact I bet I’m one of a few blogs that consistently dress down the utter ignorance and nonsensical behavior of Negros.
Some of the many examples if you care to read dickhead:
Isiah Getting “Bitch” Slapped
Black Conservative Group Blasts Ebonics Plan for California Schools
Are Black men screwed? Sure looks that way to me…
Are Black Men Retarded? No, really, what the hell!
However through most of this ranting by racist ass white people wanting to drive a spike at the heart of Negros everywhere is an obscene lack of common sense.
On Mr. Paul, this response is no doubt spawned from my utter lack of respect for him via my postings. I have said from the first time I heard him speak that he is an idiot. I STILL am unable to process just how this dude managed to get elected to Congress.
But forget that, to his racist rant, if you are an elected official you can’t represent all the people if you view some as not deemed “worthy” of your representation.
I have said this to several people, even if everything he says about black people is 100 percent true, publicly acknowledging it disqualifies you from serving in an elected capacity.
It’s one thing to chastise Negros for their shortcomings, but to do so without offering any advice, counsel, remedies to help alleviate the problems you are simply aligning yourself with the likes of David Duke and Robert Byrd.
What I cannot comprehend when some racist fuck wants to post some bullshit comment reminding me of statistics that I am all to familiar with, is the fact that even though you may not like black people and you find the crime they commit reprehensible, is it not in your best interest to try and improve the conditions and circumstances that foster the behaviors that lead to Negro incarcerations?
No matter where you live, crime affects all of us, our tax dollars are channeled towards dealing with crime issues rather than schools, infrastructure, national defense, health care.
So when dickheads want to again tell me that Negros commits more crime, what is your real motive?
On the flip side, if you simply don’t like black people and you wish all of us would just die or go back to Africa, I would think that you would be pleased that black people commit as much crime as they do.
Anyone who wants to throw out bullshit stats would also be aware of the fact that black people are far more likely to, rob, steal or kill another black person.
Black people gun each other down ever fucken day, I would think Ron Paul and dickheads like yourself would be encouraged that relatively few white people are victims of crime perpetrated by blacks. So does this not please you? If you can’t get us back to Africa, maybe you can pray that we all kill each other.
As I have said before, I find myself embarrassed and appalled by the same statistics.
I don’t understand why so many Negros choose to doom themselves to ultimate failure.
You see I can’t save black people, nor can I make excuses for them. Unfortunately way too many white people like you will lump a conservative, law abiding (for the most part), hard working, reasonable intelligent, friendly black dude like myself with all the other Negros.
White people you have it made, you see I can’t lump all of you in with a crazy white lady who blasts her husband in the back while he sleeps, or the idiots who hung the noose in the tree in Jena, or the countless white mothers who allowed their kids to die in the back seat of a high dollar SUV, or the white couple who left their child in a hotel room so they could enjoy dinner, or the white dude cult leader who forced cousins to engage in sexual activities at 8 years of age, or the countless examples of old white men who wiped out the retirements of thousands of people committing white collar crime, the old white dude working for a former president who stole classified documents from the national archives, the white lady who skipped out of a wedding and faked a kidnapping while running up a huge tab at the taxpayers expense, or the white lady who drowned her five kids in a bathtub, or the white lady who locked her kids in a car pushed it in a lake and said a black man did it, or the countless examples of white teachers sleeping with their students, or the old white guy playing foot tag in a bathroom stall, or a former president who fucked an intern in the oval office, or another old white man who solicited sex from interns, or another white man who ran a cult that resulted in the deaths of 930 moronic followers the majority who were white.
Or the numerous examples of white people back in the days of segregation that lined the walkways of schools across the country as they yelled at and spit on little black children as they attempted to go to school.
What the heck, let’s list serial killers;
Charles Albright - killer of three; known for surgically removing the eyes of victims
David Berkowitz - aka Son of Sam and The .44 Caliber Killer
Jerry Brudos - aka The Shoe-Fetish Slayer, killed at least five women
Robert Lee Yates - murdered at least 13 women in Spokane County, Washington
Marybeth Tinning - poisoned nine of her children
Dennis Rader - aka the BTK Killer; killed 10 people over 20 years
Joel Rifkin - murdered 17 women in the New York City and Long Island area
Patrick Kearney - necrophile who killed 28 men in California
William Bonin - aka The Freeway Killer; with several accomplices, claimed the lives of 20 boys in California
Charles Cullen - nurse in New Jersey and Pennsylvania who killed as many as 40 patients through lethal injection
Jeffrey Dahmer - Milwaukee cannibal who kept heads, skulls and body parts in his apartment
Gerald Stano - convicted murderer of 41 women.
All hell I’m tired and I want to move on to see what other havoc white people are committing today.
My point being with all of this, are all white people evil, of course not. But the next time one of you idiot racist fucks want to cite some fucken statistic you better take a good, long hard, honest look in the mirror and ask yourself, am I responding to this Negro blogger to make an honest point and pass on solutions to an issue or am I just wanting to be a fucking asshole in an attempt to prop the virtues of my superior white race?

“I don’t feel no ways tired. I come too far from where I started from. Nobody told me that the road would be easy. I don’t believe He brought me this far,” drawled presidential aspirant Hillary Clinton, mimicking black voice to a black audience, at the First Baptist Church of Selma, Alabama. I’m wondering if Mrs. Clinton visits an Indian reservation she might cozy up to them saying, “How! Me not tired. Me come heap long way. Road mighty rough. Sky Spirit no bring me this far.” Or, seeking the Asian vote she might say, “I no wray tired. Come too far I started flum. Road berry clooked. Number one Dragon King take me far.”
The occasion of Mrs. Clinton’s speech was the 42nd anniversary of Bloody Sunday, on March 7, 1965, when 600 civil rights marchers were attacked by police with billy clubs, cattle prods and tear gas, one of the high points in the black civil rights struggle. Commemorating a key point in American history is one thing, but a white person mimicking black dialect is demeaning and insulting. And, if it buys her votes from those in attendance, not much flattering can be said about them.
Mrs. Clinton later explained her drawl, around black audiences, to a meeting of the National Association of Black Journalists, “I lived all those years in Arkansas, and, you know, I’m in this interracial marriage.” The interracial marriage bit has to do with the frequent reference to former President Clinton, by the Congressional Black Caucus and others, as the “first black president.”
More racist crap…. Doesn’t this guy look so proud, in his mask?

News of the arrests has shocked Israel, which was founded nearly 60 years ago in the wake of the Holocaust.
The discovery of anti-Semitism within its own borders has dominated Israeli newspapers and TV and radio news shows.
All of the suspects are in their late teens or early 20s, police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said.

Another has fled the country.
The gang documented its activities on film and in photographs, and Israeli TV stations showed grainy footage of victims lying helpless on the floor while several men kicked them.

FAT ASS RACIST! After all this is Kansas
Sphere: Related ContentTonganoxie, Kansas (from Lawrence Journal World) — Tonganoxie Mayor Mike Vestal admitted Friday to sending an e-mail containing the picture of a naked woman and a racist joke to several individuals. He offered to resign his position as mayor, if that is what residents wish.“Oh my God, oh my God. You’ve got to be kidding me. Oh, Lord have mercy,” Vestal said this afternoon when a Journal-World reporter showed him a copy of the e-mail that was sent from his account.
The e-mail opened with the words, “Next Monday is National Female Breast Appreciation Day.” It then showed a picture of a woman and her naked breasts. Underneath the picture were the words, “Beats the fuck out of Martin Luther King Day! Doesn’t It?”
Vestal admitted to sending the e-mail Aug. 31 from his account to a “couple of guys.” He inadvertently sent it to a 6News reporter, and that is how the Journal-World obtained the e-mail.
Vestal apologized to Tonganoxie residents for any embarrassment, and said the e-mail’s content did not represent his beliefs.
“This is something I don’t usually do,” said Vestal, although he stopped short of saying this was the first time he had ever forwarded such an e-mail message. “I should have just deleted it.
“I apologize. I hope people will forgive me. I’m proud of what I do for the city. I don’t know how I’m going to make it up to the people. It will never happen again.
“If the citizens want me to resign, I will resign. It was a bad error in judgment.”
Tonganoxie Councilman Jim Truesdell said Friday that he was shocked by the e-mail.
“That’s obviously wrong,” Truesdell said of the e-mail’s content. “But it is even worse that it mocks Martin Luther King Day and women. It is obviously distasteful.”
Vestal, who was elected in April, works for an answering service that is owned by his wife. The service also has a contract with the city of Tonganoxie to function as the dispatch service for the Tonganoxie Police Department. Vestal sent the e-mail from a computer that he owns, and from an e-mail account that he pays for, he said. But it is the e-mail account that is listed as his official point of contact as the city’s mayor.
Tonganoxie city employees are required to sign an agreement that prohibits employees to “knowingly communicate, download, or forward anything that might be construed as harassing, hostile or offensive based on ethnicity, race, sex, disability, age, religion or national origin.”
Vestal said he never had seen the agreement before, and it was unclear whether he is subject to the agreement as either the city’s mayor or an employee of a contractor that does business with the city.
Vestal said he did not know how many people he sent the e-mail to. The e-mail obtained by the Journal-World did not list the addresses of the recipients, but used a function that hid the addresses from view. Vestal also declined to say who sent him the e-mail, although he said that person was not involved in city government.
Truesdell said the community now would have to decide whether to stand behind its mayor. Truesdell said he was inclined to support Vestal, whom he called a good leader that treated council members fairly.
“I would hate to see him resign or be removed from office. I think he has done a lot of good for the community,” Truesdell said. “But it probably will be up to the people. I could see a lot of people objecting on a lot of different fronts to having someone like that in office.
“But I really don’t think that is Mike Vestal. I don’t think that is who he is.”
Councilman Tom Putthoff declined to comment on the e-mail until he had a chance to discuss it with Vestal. Attempts to reach other council members were unsuccessful.
We can now hear, for the first time, Brenda Slaby’s emotional and personal account of what happened August 23. That’s the day Slaby left her two-year-old daughter in a hot car while working at Glen Este Middle School.
Slaby’s comments are contained in a two-hour interview done with Union Township police.
She wonders out loud, “How can I go on?” She frets, “Good mothers don’t do this!” She worries that she failed her daughter.
Clermont County prosecutor Don White didn’t prosecute Slaby because he found Cecilia’s death was an accident.
Union Township police had recommended a charge of child endangering.

The sad thing is, if he runs, he will actually be competitive, a whole bunch of retarded ass Negros would actually vote for this fool, not to mention that Louisiana is corrupt enough politically that this is a possibility.
I’m just speechless, what the fuck can you say about this, either dude has been smoking too much crack or he is mildly retarded and he is clueless as to the situation in NOLA.

Sphere: Related ContentCaptain Ed has a good point, commenting on Craig’s potential boot in butt out of the Senate.
Sphere: Related Content(post link) if the (Republican) party wants to start drawing these lines, then one has to wonder why David Vitter isn’t getting the same push.
He didn’t plead guilty in court, but unlike Craig, he openly admits he broke the law and solicited prostitutes. Others serving in Congress at the moment have pleaded guilty to misdemeanors of more import than disorderly conduct without being forced to resign.
If morality and credibility are at issue, why isn’t Vitter being held to that standard? It’s either that Louisiana’s Democratic governor would appoint a Democrat in his place, or that Vitter’s transgressions involved heterosexual sex and therefore are less objectionable.
Craig will depart soon, and these questions will fade away eventually. However, people will wonder whether the GOP decided to argue for standards in public officials, or whether they just found it easy to use Craig without endangering their political balance in the Senate.
I found the following on Talking Points Memo, via Outside the Beltway.
C’mon people; is it me, or is this society getting cruder, morally bankrupt and just plain sicker each and every damm day.
I swear until this Craig mess I had no clue about this sicko culture of bathroom perusing fudge packing creeps.
Noooooo, going to a nice bar and having a normal conversation with the hook-up of your choice whether opposite sex or same sex is apparently not enough.
The lure of inhaling the stench of human excrement and the hand touching of another nasty ass germ infested bathroom troll is I guess the new aphrodisiac.
As this post does point out, that God for the internet, the masses can at least be aware of, avoid and be on the lookout for society’s biggest weirdoes.
Sphere: Related ContentAccording to an article in today’s Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune, more avid web readership might have saved Sen. Larry Craig’s (R-ID) career.
As a number of TPM Reader/Google sleuths have been telling us, there are sites out there that rate different public sex bathrooms around the country. One of them sounds sort of like it’s the Zagat’s of gay public restroom sex. And that bathroom at the Minneapolis airport is like the Spago of sex bathrooms.
In any case, this from the Strib reporters …
Another Web site lists Twin Cities-area malls, parks, health clubs and even a “cruisy toilet” at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Many postings list the best times to go and give graphic reviews of the venues. An airport bathroom, specifically one near a shoeshine stand behind the ticket counter, generated the most comments until Web-site users posted warnings in June that men were getting arrested there. Craig was arrested shortly after noon on June 11 in the main men’s public restroom of the North Star Crossing in the Lindbergh Terminal.
It’s not clear from the article exactly which review web site they’re referring to or whether the warnings about the sting showed up in advance of Craig’s June 11th arrest. But it seems that closer scrutiny of the web and available ratings sites could have kept Craig from his rendezvous with destiny.
Frank says Craig should serve out term, he should know…

August 27, 1989Prostitute and pimp Stephen L. Gobie settled in with his “girls” in his Georgetown town house one evening in late 1987 to watch “The Mayflower Madam” on television. As Candice Bergen portrayed upscale madam Sydney Biddle Barrows, Gobie’s companions had an idea.
“The girls turned to me and said, ‘You’re just like her,’ ” Gobie recalled in an interview yesterday. “That’s when I realized that I was in the middle of a developing story that could be worth something someday. I told them, ‘One day, don’t be surprised if you see me on TV.’ “
Gobie’s dream has come true. His accusation that Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) knew that Gobie had operated a prostitution service out of Frank’s Capitol Hill apartment became national news after it was first reported Friday by the Washington Times.
Frank, one of two openly gay members of Congress, confirmed Friday that he paid Gobie for sex, hired him with personal funds as an aide and wrote letters on congressional stationery on his behalf to Virginia probation officials, but Frank said he fired Gobie when he learned that clients were visiting the apartment.
Frank, a leading House liberal, likened himself to Henry Higgins, who in “Pygmalion” tries to transform a cockney waif into a member of English society. Gobie dismissed that as “garbage.” “This is not the case of the poor waif who is being sheltered,” Gobie said. “This was the first time he felt good in a relationship. Here’s a guy who didn’t have a social life until he was 45.”
Gobie’s craving for public attention also has produced an uproar in Montgomery County. Gobie said he maintained a relationship with Gabriel A. Massaro, the principal of Chevy Chase Elementary School, and used an office at the school in late 1987 to make telephone calls and have one client meet a prostitute.
Massaro, who has been placed on administrative leave, has been unavailable for comment.
Gobie said his motive was largely financial. Gobie had offered his story to WUSA-TV (Channel 9), then the Washington Times. Later he came to The Washington Post, saying he was looking “to start a bidding war” for “a better offer” than the Washington Times made. He and the Times say he was not paid.
Gobie also said he wants “to show up people in positions of power who abuse other people.”
Gobie expressed no regret for any damage done to the careers of Frank and Massaro.
Although Frank and Gobie differ in some details of their relationship, they agree on the story line. They met on April Fool’s Day 1985. The representative answered a classified ad in the Washington Blade, the local gay weekly. “Exceptionally good-looking, personable, muscular athlete is available. Hot bottom plus large endowment equals a good time.”
Then in his third term, the 45-year-old representative had not yet stated his homosexuality publicly. He paid Gobie $80 in cash for sex.
Gobie, then 28, was one of many young men “freelancing” in male prostitution. Gobie said he was born in Boston and grew up in a military family. He has felony convictions for possession of cocaine, oral sodomy and production of obscene items involving a juvenile.
Gobie and Frank say they became more friends than sexual partners. Gobie says he attended a bill-signing at the White House, and helped coach and played left field for Frank’s team in the Congressional Softball League. “I was the star player,” Gobie said.
Frank began to help Gobie financially, paying his attorney and court-ordered psychiatrist. The House member also said he hired Gobie as a personal aide, housekeeper and driver, but Gobie said that was a “cover story” concocted for probation officers.
In late 1985, Gobie says, he began to use Frank’s apartment and two other locations for prostitution. Frank knew about the prostitution all along, but it was never explicitly discussed, Gobie says.
“He knew exactly what I was doing,” Gobie said. “It was pretty obvious. If he had to come home early {from work}, he would call home to be sure the coast was clear . . . . He was living vicariously through me. He said it was kind of a thrill, and if he had been 20 years younger he might be doing the same thing.”
Frank denies that he knew, saying he learned from his landlord and kicked Gobie out in August 1987. Gobie supports this part of Frank’s story.
Gobie said his disclosures are only beginning. “I think I’ll just slap a book together. Sydney Biddle Barrows made in excess of a million. I thought ‘Capitol Offenses’ would be a nice title.”
Article: Vick ‘reaction’ has racial aspect - Link
By Dan Le Batard
Sphere: Related ContentWe are watching Michael Vick’s glorious life fall apart on TV. The details of his cruelty to dogs are shocking, nauseating and illegal. He is wrong, case closed. To defend him is to defend the indefensible, and the felonious. If a white quarterback such as Peyton Manning had been at the center of this, he would become just as radioactive, maybe more so.How could anyone take any other side on something this black and white?
If you are asking that, you must have missed that little trial involving O.J. Simpson.
There is so much baggage and history and emotion and volume here that a lot gets lost in translation. I don’t hear many black people defending Vick’s actions today. What I hear is many black people objecting to the size and intensity of the reaction. Those are two very different things. But they start to sound the same when white people yell with disgust, ”Not the race card again!” and black people counter with, ”Race impacts everything.” Not a lot gets heard clearly when people are trying to talk while standing that far apart.
And the louder and angrier the reaction gets, the more pressure is put on authorities — usually white authorities — to make an example out of a black icon.
Quibble with our country’s laws if you like, but you have to abide by them if you want to be free here. That’s nonnegotiable, and it is going to get Vick jailed. But it is after that when things get muddier. The question isn’t whether Vick should lose money or freedom today. The question becomes how much of his money and freedom he should lose. The difference there is between penalizing a black icon and ruining him.
It makes sense, based on past history and personal experiences, that black folks might not trust the system to treat one of their own fairly once we go from letter-of-the-law jail to subjective suspension.
The people making the decisions about how much of his life Vick gets to keep post-jail are white and applying their sensibilities — which is how you arrive at rules that ban the black athletes who like to celebrate from dancing too much in the end zone. All the team owners and the commissioner are white, as are the richest of Vick’s endorsers and most of the consumers of all this product. You’ll forgive black people if they aren’t terribly comfortable with white people making the rules for them. That hasn’t gone so well in the past.
Then there’s this: The white athlete tends to get more room to rehab his image than the black one. There is no black equivalent to reckless addict golfer John Daly, throwing away talent but nonetheless popular and embraced. Some of that has to do with Daly harming only himself, not teammates or fans of that team, but not all of it. Darryl Strawberry and Doc Gooden aren’t perceived quite like drunk heroes Mickey Mantle and Billy Martin. Some of that has to do with Mantle’s more innocent era, but not all of it.
It would be interesting to see the reaction if it were an NBA team instead of baseball’s St. Louis Cardinals (Tony La Russa, DUI arrest; Josh Hancock, drunk-driving death; Scott Spiezio, rehab) that had the substance-abuse problem. Would they feel more like the Bengals? And how is the reaction different if Michael Doleac, Chris Quinn and Jason Kapono fought fans in Detroit instead of three giant black guys with braids and tattoos? Have you noticed how differently basketball fights are covered than baseball brawls? Is the pressure and penalty as large on Quinn as it was on Ron Artest? If the action is exactly the same, is the reaction?
COMPASSION FACTOR
Race doesn’t always amplify the noise around a national scandal. The Beltway Sniper was black and randomly killed 10 people, and you didn’t hear folks taking sides on that one. But that’s the exception, not the rule. Vick makes for a bad martyr, but it is human nature to feel sorry for your own while watching him beat up daily on television as his life unravels. That’s not racism. It is compassion. And human.
Our experiences always shape our perspectives. We saw it with O.J. Simpson. Blacks were so thrilled to finally beat what they saw as an unfair system — a system that jails them at a disproportionate rate — that the thrill of winning ignored even someone getting away with murder. When the distrust is that large and pervasive, it is going to seep into some places it doesn’t belong — like, for example, this Vick case.
CULTURAL DIFFERENCES
Dogfighting is glorified in segments of the hip-hop community, so there are some cultural differences that complicate matters here. There isn’t much of a difference between killing dogs for sport and the art of bullfighting.
You are walking a thin line if you see a lot of distinction between pitting dogs bred to fight and shooting a deer just to put the head up in your office. Go to Hialeah, and you’ll see that one man’s cruelty to animals is another man appeasing his god. Heck, our own states can’t agree. Dogfighting is but a misdemeanor in two of them. Vick couldn’t have known dogfighting had consequences this large or he wouldn’t have been doing it. And it can be jarring to see one of your own lose his livelihood and freedom and name for something that isn’t a lot different than bullfighting.
This isn’t to say dogfighting is a black thing. It isn’t. It is an illegal thing. It is just to point out that there are shades of gray in here even as we discuss black and white.
And you are more likely to find them only if you are interested in doing so.
Is this some sort of weird gay bathroom sex code ritual that I have managed to miss?
Damm am I going to have to be on the lookout for men’s restroom weirdoes trolling toilet stalls? Damm, taking a shit in a public restroom is hard enough and in the majority of cases grosses me the hell out because way too many of you people are a bunch of nasty ass bastards and I bet Craig didn’t even wash his nasty ass hands. U sick bastard!
Michelle on the Larry Craig bathroom feet touching saga
Update: The Idaho Statesman has two detailed articles. The first recaps the Minnesota incident. The second is a five-month investigative piece into Craig’s past alleged acts of indecency and solicitation dating back to 1982, when an underage page made allegations that he had had sex with three House members.
ABC News has the docs from the Minnesota incident.
Any takers on a Larry Craig Resignation Date/Time Betting Pool?
***
He plays the “Don’t you know who I am?” game by whipping out his Senate business card. He pleads guilty. Then he blames the police for misunderstanding him and “misconstruing” all his bathroom antics.
Bleccch.
Let me amend my reaction. He’s not just a weasel.
He’s a lying crapweasel.
Should he resign? Well, yeah. If he cared about the dignity of his office, he would. But he obviously doesn’t, does he?
Found the following on Kos: - Idaho Statesman article:Men’s room arrest reopens questions about Sen. Larry Craig
In an interview on May 14, Craig told the Idaho Statesman he’d never engaged in sex with a man or solicited sex with a man. The Craig interview was the culmination of a Statesman investigation that began after a blogger accused Craig of homosexual sex in October. Over five months, the Statesman examined rumors about Craig dating to his college days and his 1982 pre-emptive denial that he had sex with underage congressional pages. The most serious finding by the Statesman was the report by a professional man with close ties to Republican officials. The 40-year-old man reported having oral sex with Craig at Washington’s Union Station, probably in 2004. The Statesman also spoke with a man who said Craig made a sexual advance toward him at the University of Idaho in 1967 and a man who said Craig “cruised” him for sex in 1994 at the REI store in Boise. The Statesman also explored dozens of allegations that proved untrue, unclear or unverifiable….
In the hourlong May 14 interview, Craig was accompanied by his wife, Suzanne. He specifically and generally denied ever engaging in any homosexual conduct.
During that interview, the Statesman played Craig an audiotape of the man claiming that he and Craig had sex in the Union Station restroom. Like the Minnesota airport restroom, the Union Station restroom is known as a place where men can find anonymous sex.
Craig denied the man’s account and said, “I am not gay and I have never been in a restroom in Union Station having sex with anybody.
“There’s a very clear bottom line here,” Craig said. “I don’t do that kind of thing. I am not gay, and I never have been.”
Craig’s accuser spoke to the Statesman on the condition he not be named. The man said he was sure it was Craig he had oral sex with but said he had no evidence other than his word.
Craig also denied the claims of the two other men that he made sexual advances to them.<
