SHOCKING! McCain: racist, bigot & homophobe

Sunday, August 3rd, 2008

john_mccain_muppet.jpg
Ok this is funny and since I don’t plan on voting for McCain I don’t give a shit.
It seems like the Obama fans are already getting desperate. Obama got no bump from his overseas tour, he keeps putting his foot in his mouth by saying dumb shit, folks are getting tired of his arrogant ass so now the Obama fans are recycling this post from Capital Hill Blue found via the Negro gossip site Media Take Out. They encourage circulation to other blogs and e-mail.
WatchingFromAfar are you paying attention, LOL!My man Hal even has this in the comments section:

Everyone can help publicize
Submitted by Hal Brown on August 1, 2008 - 9:55am.
Everyone can help publicize this in three ways:

1) Sign on to one of the social news networks below the column (Digg, Delicious, Reddict etc.) and submit it.

2) Send it to everyone who you think needs to know (use BCC not CC). Urge them to send it on.

3) Put a note about it on other websites which have similar comments sections.

As is said in cyber-speak, this needs to go viral. Maybe then the MSM will notice.

WatchingFromAfar are you paying attention!! LOL!

Wizbang Blue got the memo and is circulating: The Racist Wit & Wisdom Of John McCain

Now much of this material I had posted months ago but liberals don’t like my blog and would never use Political Party Poop as an anti GOP resource.
Hey this is what makes politics so much fun.

By DOUG THOMPSON

John McCain, a member of the House of Representatives in the mid-1980s, often held court at a table near the bar at Bullfeathers, a popular Capitol Hill watering hole, telling jokes and matching hangers-on drink by drink.

As a Capitol Hill chief of staff, I often drank at Bullfeathers and was invited to join the throng at McCain’s table one evening. A few minutes listening to the racism, bigotry and homophobia of the Arizona Congressman told me all I needed to know.

McCain loved to tell jokes about lesbians, blacks, Hispanics and the Vietnamese community that occupied a large section of Arlington County, Virginia, just south of the District of Columbia.

Of course, McCain didn’t use polite language in the jokes: He used names like “fags” or “queers” or “dykes” or “niggers” or “spics” or “wetbacks” or “gooks.”

A typical McCain joke (overheard at Bullfeathers):

Two dykes are talking at a bar and one leaves. As she walks toward the door, the other watches her leave and says out loud: “God, I’ve love to eat her out.”

Two men are standing near by and one turns to the other and says: “I’d like to do the same. Guess that makes me a dyke.”

Or another (also overheard at Bullfeathers):

Question: Why does Mexican beer have two “X’s” on the label?

Answer: Because wetbacks always need a co-signer.

(McCain has a documented history of lesbian jokes. He’s also come under fire for other jokes about rape.)

Exampe:

Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly?

Because Janet Reno is her father.

Another example:

Did you hear the one about the woman who is attacked on the street by a gorilla, beaten senseless, raped repeatedly and left to die? When she finally regains consciousness and tries to speak, her doctor leans over to hear her sigh contently and to feebly ask, ‘Where is that marvelous ape?’

When he ran for the Senate, I attended a gathering of GOP operatives at the National Republican Senatorial Committee where McCain outlined his campaign strategy:

I play to win. I do whatever it takes to win. If I have to fuck my opponent to win I’ll do it. If I have to destroy my opponent I won’t give it a second thought.

McCain’s so-called sense of humor has no limits when it comes to simple human decency. Shortly after former President Ronald Reagan announced he had Alzheimer’s Disease, McCain told this joke at a GOP Fundraiser:

Do you know the best thing about having Alzheimer’s?

You get to hide your own Easter eggs.

Even his wife is not immune. Writes Cliff Schecter in his book, The Real John McCain:

Three reporters from Arizona, on the condition of anonymity, also let me in on another incident involving McCain’s intemperateness. In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain’s hair and said, “You’re getting a little thin up there.” McCain’s face reddened, and he responded, “At least I don’t plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you cunt.” McCain’s excuse was that it had been a long day. If elected president of the United States, McCain would have many long days.

This is the man the Republican Party thinks should be the next President of the United States. What else should we expect from a party that promotes racism, homophobia and discrimination against anyone with a different skin color, sexual orientation or ethnic origin?

So we shouldn’t be surprised that McCain’s campaign strategy seeks to raise racial fear about Barack Obama, the first African-American with a serious shot at the Presidency of the United States.

John McCain is a racist: Always has been, always will be. A retired Naval officer who says he served with McCain in the Navy says he treated black sailors with disrespect and scorn. McCain refuses to release his detailed military record and some sources say that record includes incidents that include issues with black sailors.

Such attitudes are part of his family history. As noted by a black poster in Talking Points Memo:

I can’t love America the same way John McCain does. When his daddy was Admiral, my daddy was mopping floors. And when his granddaddy was Admiral, all the Blacks in the entire Navy were mopping floors. But they still volunteered and went to war, even when their commanders didn’t think they were brave enough to fight. So who loves America more? The cook on the ship who couldn’t vote in 15 states, or the Admiral who dined on the meals he slaved over?

McCain’s collection of off-color jokes are riddled with racist words and sentiments. Advisors have toned down the raunchy rhetoric of his early years in Congress but close aides say his attitudes have not changed.

McCain opposed making the birthday of slain civil rights leader Martin Luther King a national holiday. During his 2000 campaign for President, he told reporters on his “Straight Talk Express: “I hated the gooks (North Vietnamese). I will hate them as long as I live.”

Katie Hong of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, who reported the remark, wrote:

It is offensive because by using a racial epithet that has historically been used to demean all Asians to describe his captors, McCain failed to make a distinction between his torturers and an entire racial group.

It is alarming because a major candidate for president publicly used a racial epithet, refused to apologize for doing so and remains a legitimate contender.

For his 2000 campaign for President, McCain hired Richard Quinn, founder and editor in chief of Southern Heritage Magazine, to serve as his spokesman in South Carolina.

Notes Salon.Com:

Quinn’s articles have called Nelson Mandela a “terrorist” and King a man “whose role in history was to lead his people into a perpetual dependence on the welfare state, a terrible bondage of body and soul.” In another piece, Quinn said of former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke, “What better way to reject politics as usual than to elect a maverick like David Duke?” though he did condemn Duke’s bigotry.

Irwin A. Tank, author of Gook: John McCain’s Racism, notes a long and sordid history of racism from the presumptive GOP nominee, including:

  • McCain’s use of the anti-Asian slur “gook” publicly for 27 years before dropping the use for his current Presidential run;
  • McCain’s endorsement of George Wallace Jr., a frequent speaker at white supremacist events;
  • His vote against establishing a holiday for Martin Luther King’s birthday and then another vote to rescind the holiday.
  • In answering a question about divorced fathers and child support, McCain called the children “tar babies.”

The list goes on and on.

What else do you expect from a racist, bigot and homophobe?

McCain jokes about killing Iranians… and other verbal diarrhea from Crazy Old Coot

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

*********
This addition from Crooks and Liars

Someone in John McCain’s campaign needs to tell him that he’s not funny and that making crude jokes about killing innocent people is not presidential and inappropriate.

Most of you have heard of McCain’s Bomb Bomb Bomb Iran gaffe, and now the GOP presidential hopeful has made another crude joke about killing Iranians and again, its wholly inappropriate. The title of this AP story is “Wife Pokes McCain In The Back

Cindy McCain’s jab to her husband’s back came a second too late Tuesday to keep him from making a wisecrack about the health impact of Iran’s main import from the United States: cigarettes.

Republican presidential candidate John McCain was asked about an Associated Press report that $158 million in cigarettes have been shipped to Iran during George W. Bush’s presidency despite restrictions on U.S. exports to that country.

“Maybe that’s a way of killing them,” McCain told reporters, smiling as he waited for a cheesesteak sandwich at the Primanti Brothers restaurant. His wife, sitting next to him at the counter, poked his back without looking up. Read on…

How about, “McCain Makes Another Crude Joke About Killing Iranians?” Just kill ‘em all, right, Senator? You can tell this guy can’t wait to have his finger on the buttons, can’t you?  Had Barack Obama made this comment the corporate media would run with it, wall to wall for weeks.

McCain: I appreciate his support. As you know, the lieutenant governor is our chairman.

Q: Why snub the governor?

McCain: I didn’t mean to snub him. I’ve known the lieutenant governor for 15 years and we’ve been good friends….I didn’t intend to snub him. There are other states where the governor is not the chairman.

Q: Maybe it’s the governor’s approval rating and you are running from him like you are from the president?

Sneaky old fart! - McCain on immigration reform: “I’m glad I did it”

Monday, June 30th, 2008

amnesty.GIF
From Hot Air, if dude is elected he will fuck us on immigration I guarantee it!

This election is like being stuck between two gun barrels and having to decide which one you want to be shot with, the big gun that will explode your head like a cantaloupe quick death or the smaller less frightening looking gun the one that may not kill you right away exposing you to long term suffering.
Gruesome shit huh? Well that is the 2008 election in a nutshell!

Via Byron York. We know he’s planning to revisit the issue — the day after he’s inaugurated, no less — but the lack of remorse is news to me. What happened to that “lesson” he supposedly learned about securing the border first?

College betting is obviously an interstate commerce issue
(So Nevada should not have the right to have sports betting?)

The issue has been dead for years

(Despite your efforts, and I thought you were running on effectiveness, so how can it be dead?)

I haven’t won on every issue. I didn’t win on immigration reform, but I’ll go back at it. And I’m glad I did it.

Snoopshock - Crap this is true!? McCain temper boiled over in ‘92 tirade, called wife a ‘cunt’

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

I’ll be totally honest since I never gave a shit about nor respected McCain I paid little attention to him, I head about this but I thought it was a joke. You mean this asshole actually called his mega rich wife a CUNT and she did not dump his senile idiot crusty old ass!?
Can you imagine Obama calling his wife a cunt? She would go ghetto on his ass and cut him!!

If I were a woman (except for the fact that Obama is a clueless dolt) it would be next to impossible for me to vote for him.
Calling a woman a cunt is seriously disrespecful. No woman should ever tolerate a man using that term.
Cindy must either be very weak minded or despite her looks must be seriously lacking in self-esteem or both!

John McCain’s temper is well documented. He’s called opponents and colleagues “shitheads,” “assholes” and in at least one case “a fucking jerk.”

But a new book on the presumptive Republican nominee will air perhaps the most shocking angry exchange to date.

The Real McCain by Cliff Schecter, which will arrive in bookstores next month, reports an angry exchange between McCain and his wife that happened in full view of aides and reporters during a 1992 campaign stop. An advance copy of the book was obtained by RAW STORY.

The man who was known as “McNasty” in high school has erupted in foul-languaged tirades at political foes and congressional colleagues more-or-less throughout his career, and his quickness to anger has been an issue on the presidential campaign trail as evidence of his fury has surfaced.

Meghan McCain to Write Children’s Book About old, senile, temperamental Dad

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

This from Wonkette - “Snoop you are such a mean cantankerous SOB!” LOL!

Meghan “Blogette” McCain, the princess daughter of John McCain and his second trophy wife Cindy, has sewn up a children’s book deal. It sounds frightening, according to what she says in a publisher’s statement:

“I am truly excited about the opportunity to write a children’s book about my father, who is not only a fantastic dad, but also a great American. This book will offer children the unique opportunity to see the character building events that happened over his lifetime, experiences that led up to his current bid to become the future President of the United States.”

Hey children, this is called P-R-O-P-A-G-A-N-D-A. It means “she is finding a pleasing way to sell you terrible lies.” Also, children? She does not have a job, because she is spoiled! She is not your role model. [AP]

In case you are interested in this chicks blog go HERE.

I wonder if she will put in her book the story of how her dad was macking on this young rich chick he would eventually have an affair with and ultimately dumped his broken down old wife and married her and lived happily ever after.
Sounds like a Fractured Fairy Tale to me!

Americans ‘Have To’ Move Away From Oil, McCain Says

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

I started to go on a long tirade about what McCain said in this interview and to explain again why I don’t want this man to be president AGAIN but I’m like fuck it. I’m just a middle aged Negro anonymous blogger with a few opinions that I share on occasion. Nobody care what a broke ass Middle American angry Negro has to say about a great American POW survivor war hero…faux Republican.

Although I know my request for insight, inspiration and wisdom will be pretty much ignored I will still humbly ask those of you who are more right leaning or those of you who still identify yourselves as Republican why should I support this idiot old bastard?

I’m thinking hell at least an Obama presidency will entertain me with dude slapping his wife in the ass before they board Air Force one or the shot of him with a 40 in one hand slapping down a double six screaming “biatch” while playing dominoes as he entertains his homies in the Oval Office.

Anywho just posting for those of you who care. *Sigh*

(CNSNews.com) - At a time when congressional Republicans are pressing for expanded domestic oil drilling to boost supply, Republican Sen. John McCain says the goal of his energy policy is to move Americans away from oil. He also said oil companies “absolutely” should be giving something back to the consumer.

Americans “have to” move away from oil, McCain said Wednesday, not only because of soaring gasoline prices, “but also because of greenhouse gas emissions.”

His energy plan says nothing about oil drilling. Instead, McCain is pushing for alternative forms of energy — especially an expansion of nuclear power.

“We have to embark on a national mission to become energy independent — and nuclear power has to play a big role in that,” he told NBC’s “Today” show on Wednesday.

Asked if there’s anything he or Sen. Obama could do to ease soaring gasoline prices, McCain said “We could give them (American consumers) a bit of a break for this summer.”

McCain says that suspending the federal gasoline tax (18.4 cents a gallon) between Memorial Day and Labor Day might help a little bit. He also says he would temporarily halt new oil infusions into the nation’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

But between now and November, McCain said he doubts gasoline prices will go much lower than they are now — and they “could go higher.” The situation won’t get much better than it is now, given that a finite supply of oil is controlled by a cartel.

Oil company profits

At a time of record oil prices and record profits — when oil companies are getting various tax breaks and financial incentives from the federal government — shouldn’t those companies “be able to give something back to the consumer?” NBC’s Matt Lauer asked McCain. “Absolutely,” McCain replied.

“And they should be investing in alternative energy and they should be giving back to the consumer and they should be embarking on research and development that will pay off in reducing our dependence on foreign oil,” McCain said.

“The point is, oil companies have got to be more participatory in alternate energy, in sharing their profits in a variety of ways, and there is very strong and justifiable emotion about their profits,” McCain said.

On Tuesday, Senate Republicans prevented a vote on a Democratic bill that would have imposed a 25 percent windfall profits tax on oil company profits. The motion to cut off debate and proceed to a vote failed by a 51-43 margin. Neither McCain nor Sen. Barack Obama cast a vote on the cloture motion.

But both presumed presidential candidates support a windfall profits tax.

Last month in North Carolina, McCain said, “I don’t like obscene profits being made anywhere — and I’d be glad to look not just at the windfall profits tax — that’s not what bothers me — but we should look at any incentives that we are giving to people or industries or corporations that are distorting the market.”

Is she callin John McCain a LIAR!? “What John McCain Told Me, and What it Says About How Far He’s Fallen”

Tuesday, May 6th, 2008

mccainkennedyqn8.gif

By Arrianna Huffington on the Huff Post

Through a spokesperson with the colorful name Tucker Bounds, McCain has denied telling me he didn’t vote for Bush in 2000. “It’s not true,” Bounds told the Washington Post, “and I ask you to consider the source.”My sentiments exactly — because John McCain has a long history of issuing heartfelt denials of things that were actually true.

He denied ever talking with John Kerry about his leaving the GOP to be Kerry’s ‘04 running mate — then later admitted he had, insisting: “Everybody knows that I had a conversation.”

He denied admitting that he didn’t know much about economics, even though he’d said exactly that to the Wall Street Journal. And the Boston Globe. And the Baltimore Sun.

He denied ever having asked for a budget earmark for Arizona, even though he had. On the record.

He denied that he’d ever had a meeting with comely lobbyist Vicki Iseman and her client Lowell Paxon, even though he had. And had admitted it in a legal deposition.

And those are just the outright denials. He’s also repeatedly tried to spin away statements he regretted making (see: 100-year war, Iraq was a war for oil, etc.).

So, yes, by all means, “consider the source.”

Republicans and Blacks

Monday, April 14th, 2008

mccainking.jpgBy Thomas Sowell

Why would Senator McCain choose a venue where his rejection was virtually guaranteed? Not only did he not get his message out, the message that came out through the media is that this black audience rejected him, which is readily portrayed as if blacks in general rejected him.The Republican strategy for making inroads into the black vote has failed consistently for more than a quarter of a century. Yet it never seems to occur to them to change their approach. The first thing that they do that is foredoomed to failure is trying to reach blacks through the civil rights organizations and other institutions of the black establishment. The second proven loser is trying to appeal to blacks by offering the same kinds of things that Democrats offer– token honors, politically correct rhetoric and welfare state benefits.

Blacks who want those things know that they can already get them from the Democrats. Why should they listen to Republicans who act like imitation Democrats?’

These are not the blacks whose votes Republicans have any realistic hope of getting. Nor do the Republicans need the votes of all blacks. If just 20 percent of blacks begin voting Republican, the Democrats are lost.

The question then is how to have a shot at getting the votes of those blacks who are not in thrall to the current black “leaders” and who on many issues may be conservative.

Calling all GOP Purists: It’s time to support John McCain

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

298isi.jpg

(link to post from Red State) I realize, of course, that many of you have no intention of supporting John McCain, and no amount of rah-rah “Go Team!” rhetoric is going to persuade you otherwise. Once again, I get it. Lord knows that Senator McCain has torched many a bridge. But let’s get real for a moment, shall we? The Republican brand is about as popular right now as the kid with blue dye next to him in the swimming pool, and that fact isn’t going to change any time soon. The brutal truth of the matter is that John McCain may be our only hope this year. And while many of you no doubt have fantasies about how time in the wilderness will help bring about a restoration of the “Real Republican Party” (as I often did re: Rudy), the reality is that a great deal of damage can be done by a President Obama or Clinton in the next four years. Is that something you’re really willing to risk? Three to four Supreme Court appointments? Major tax increases? Implementation of a radical proabortion agenda? Dialing down the War on Terror? Perhaps you are willing to do just that. But as for me and my house, we will strongly support John McCain for president. He may not be perfect, but he’s a damn fine politician, and he’s light years better than Obama or Clinton.

I’m only posting because I find it more than a little amusing that bloggers are still posting shit like this in support of McCain.
I have said it before and I will say again, no “conservative” minded individual would write such drivel.
McCain is simply unacceptable. He will get some play from right leaning folks because as this dude does they will buy into the “fear” card, for example “Obama is this crazy liberal and will destroy the country.” Jimmy Carter sucked as a president, fucked up some things but anyone who say that any single individual can “destroy” this nation is either willfully ignorant or on the campaign payroll.

If someone from the McCain campaign wants to contact ole Snoop and pay to have me write positive shit about him or hell I’ll post vote McCain shit on my blog all day for enough money.

Yes, Snoop can be bought, but I’m not cheap! Hey I’m saving up for a hot tub for the back yard.

What’s in a Name? - John McCain: “the leader of the loyal opposition.”

Monday, February 18th, 2008

johnmccainpirate1.jpg

It’s easy to forget that the Arizona senator is not, in fact, a Democrat. In the past year he has stood against his party on so many prominent and contentious issues that his concurrences with GOP dogma have become more of an exception than a rule. In the conservative media, he has become a figure of vilification on par with Tom Daschle.

Last fall, when his name came up in a meeting of House Republicans, he was booed. And it is no exaggeration to say that he has co-sponsored virtually the entire domestic agenda of the Democratic Party. One prominent Democrat enthuses, “He’s the leader of the loyal opposition.” Typically that role falls to a leader of the opposition party. But the most popular and effective champion of the Democratic Party’s values isn’t Tom Daschle. It’s John McCain.

And at a moment when the party is casting about for a leader to define it against a popular president, and McCain is casting about for a home after his virtual expulsion from the GOP, there is an obvious solution to both dilemmas: John McCain ought to become a Democrat–and a presumptive front-runner for the party’s presidential nomination in 2004.

Red State Observations: “The Seven Actions of Highly Ineffective Conservatives that Gave us John McCain”

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

liberty.jpg
This from Red StateGuilty as charged… When some bloggers talked up Duncan Hunter by the time I paid real attention to him it was way too late. Looking back Hunter was clearly the best candidate. My semi-personal tie to Fred Thompson clouded that judgment.

Why is the GOP looking at McCain as a possible nominee? Let’s take a look at the reasons. We’re starting at the least important and counting down to the most important factor.

Being for no one: This field didn’t excite conservatives terribly, which was a huge problem. Many of us Conservative writers, bloggers, and broadcasters knew who we were against, but not who we were for. The classic example is Club for Growth’s War on Mike Huckabee. Club for Growth endorsed no one, but saturated South Carolina in anti-Huckabee ads. The result: John McCain. I wonder if Club Members felt their money was well-spent if Not Huckabee=John McCain.

In addition, Rush Limbugh’s Super Tuesday morning endorsement of Mitt Romney was a tad late. He refused to make a primary endorsement when it really mattered. Ditto: James Dobson who chose to endorse Mike Huckabee after Super Tuesday. While I have jokingly referred to Hugh Hewitt as “Baghdad Hugh” (after “Baghdad Bob” the Iraqi Minister of Information during the Iraq War) for his propagandistic support of Mitt Romney, at least he supported a candidate while his fellow talkers simply stood above it all until it was too late. The lesson: find a candidate who comes closest to you, back him.

Not becoming engaged sooner: Conservatives ignored the election for too long and worst yet, some campaign efforts, such as Huckabee’s and Thompson’s, had many “supporters” who never gave a dollar to their campaigns. Indeed, some people pledged to support candidates such as Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter “if they caught on” never pondering that if the candidates didn’t receive financial support they’d never have the money to catch on. Despite all the disagreements with the Ron Paul supporters, when it came to money, they showed us all how to support a campaign. The lesson: If you want a better candidate in 2012 or 2016, I might suggest starting a savings account to put aside funds to support a real conservative, if your country’s worth a few bucks to you.

When Obama, Clinton and McCain Decisively Agreed

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

mccain01.jpgBy Terence P. Jeffrey - CNSNews.com Editor in Chief

One thing Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain all have in common is that they voted to give retroactive Social Security benefits to illegal aliens who committed document fraud.Indeed, McCain voted for it before he was against it.

On May 18, 2006, when the immigration reform proposal advocated by McCain was on the Senate floor, Sen. John Ensign of Nevada offered an amendment.

As written, the bill immunized illegal aliens from being prosecuted for document fraud, including using a stolen, or a fake, Social Security number. Additionally, the bill did not stop the current practice of allowing aliens who are eventually granted permanent legal residency to go back and claim credit with the Social Security Administration for work they did as an illegal.

Thus, the immigration reform proposal advocated by McCain in 2006 would not only have added millions of illegal aliens to Social Security rolls, it would have protected these aliens from being prosecuted for fraudulently using other people’s Social Security numbers.

There are obviously some folks who have been suckered into buying into McKein’s bullshit, but the operative question for you McKein supporters is ‘Who needs a weird old coot in the White House?’

John McCain funded by Soros since 2001

From World Net Daily

As Sen. John McCain assumes the GOP front-runner mantle, his long-standing, but little-noticed association with left-wing donors such as George Soros and Teresa Heinz Kerry is receiving new attention among his Republican critics.

In 2001, McCain founded the Alexandria, Va.-based Reform Institute as a vehicle to receive funding from George Soros’ Open Society Institute and Teresa Heinz Kerry’s Tides Foundation and several other prominent non-profit organizations.

McCain used the institute to promote his political agenda and provide compensation to key campaign operatives between elections.

Dammit, I feel like such an ass!! Fred endorses McCain

Monday, February 11th, 2008

fred1a.JPG

I shall put myself in “timeout” for falling for such a fucken fraud, Fred Thompson and his phony “conservative” campaign.

Found Via Hot Air  - (full post here)  - The Bolton endorsement and the Fred endorsement on the same day.

While campaigning in Wichita, this afternoon with KS senator and former presidential candidate Sam Brownback, John McCain announced that he had recently received the support of another former candidate. “I also spoke again yesterday to my friend Fred Thompson who assured me he is ready to do whatever it takes to help me win the election in November,” McCain said. “I’m very proud to have the friendship and support of Fred Thompson as well.”

McCain a ‘True Conservative,’ Bush Says…my ass he is…

Monday, February 11th, 2008
lilbush.jpgWASHINGTON (AP) - John McCain is a “true conservative,” President Bush says, although the likely Republican presidential nominee may have to work harder to convince other conservatives that he is one of their own.
McCain “is very strong on national defense,” Bush said in an interview taped for airing on “Fox News Sunday.” “He is tough fiscally. He believes the tax cuts ought to be permanent. He is pro-life. His principles are sound and solid as far as I’m concerned.”

I watched McCain’s speech… big deal still don’t trust the bastard!

Thursday, February 7th, 2008

machuck.jpg

Michelle Malkin Live from CPAC: McCain into the lion’s den; Armey disses Coulter, George Allen, Tom Coburn endorse McCain; Mac: “We should do this more often;” to shamnesty opponents: “I respect your opposition”

I watched his speech and still was not impressed. Although GOP party insiders, desperate to keep the party intact, will pimp for him as much as possible.

I believe that he feels that all of this opposition to him is manufactured, that we will eventually come around and support him for the good of the party.

So the smug bastard spoke a CPAC and received some bogus applause from paid campaign groupies. Big deal!!

Let me focus on one thing he keeps saying and why I don’t trust his ass for one minute.
“we need to secure the borders” no you don’t, you don’t need a damm fence to keep Mexicans from crossing over. If this man were serious about convincing us conservatives that he is serious about illegal immigration, this is what he would have said;

I understand the seriousness of illegal immigration and the threat it poses to this nation.
As president I will do the following:
1) I will stop the flow of federal dollars to cities that harbor illegal aliens.
2) I will oppose giving automatic citizenship to the children of illegal aliens and foreign visitors.
3) I will work to establish a universal system for checking welfare and work eligibility.
4) I will propose that stiff fines be levied at companies that hire illegal or undocumented immigrants.
5) I will oppose any legislation that seeks to grant drivers licenses to illegal immigrants.
6) I will instruct local authorities to report to federal authorities any criminal offense perpetrated by an illegal immigrant.
7) I will end all public benefits for illegal aliens.
8) I will make alien smuggling and document fraud a federal offense.

But who am I kidding McCain won’t say that shit. He will just keep repeating “border security first” and hope that the public will buy into his bullshit.

Don’t forget that his running mate will likely be Mike “Mexican consulate in Arkansas” Huckabee. McCain seriously must think we all have jackass stamped on our foreheads.

If I wanted to vote for a damm Democrat I would have joined the Democrat Party!

Wednesday, February 6th, 2008

I’m reposting because I guess mutherfuckers are just to dense to “get it!”

*************
“ Sen. McCain overall is a moderate-conservative, or somewhat but not firmly in the conservative camp. More specifically, he is fiscal conservative, a social moderate-conservative, but a foreign policy moderate (e.g., he favors the War in Iraq, but also wants to shut down Gitmo and opposes torture). He is also a Republican Party loyalist. These ratings also tell me that Sen. Clinton is firmly in the liberal camp (i.e., not a moderate-liberal), and is a Democratic Party loyalist.”"many conservatives are allowing Sen. McCain’s 35% liberal ideology to override his 65% conservative ideology. Now conservatives could argue that Sen. McCain is “insufficiently” conservative for their tastes. However, to argue that he is a liberal is just plain ridiculous. I guess I am just too pragmatic and logical to be a partisan. I really don’t get these conservatives who are in blind dislike, emotionally-based meltdown mode over Sen. John McCain.”

*************

gop_elephant_flipoff.jpgOver the last several days I have been actively seeking blog posts and Columns containing the idea that (individuals like myself) need to “teach the Republicans a lesson.” This position is usually taken by those in the media and by paid blogs writers who are waving their nasty ass finger at those of us who refuse to play the political game of “crown the clown.” They want us to vote for someone simply because they have an (R) after their name. They want those of us who still insist upon conservative ideals and principals in our leaders to just “shut the fuck up” and do as we are told, support the presumptive nominee, forget about his (or her) past transgressions, and by all that is holy, “Don’t let the Democrats set America back and give us the dreaded socialism!”

I doubt that my little ranting tome here gets peeped by many of the sanctimonious types who are writing these types of posts. I do have some of their sites linked on my sidebar, because I have a basic measure of respect for the quality of their writing. But these series of posts on how we should all make sure that a Republican, any Republican, wins the Presidency are really pissing me the fuck off.

These people clearly have an agenda. And it’s not just “for the good of the Party.” It’s personal.

The vast majority of these blogers makes a modest income by advertising. Their blogs are littered with pointless ads targeted at conservative minded folks who may click on some bullshit with Newt or Ann Coulter in an ad.

I am very aware that many of these bloggers are political insiders. They probably are hired to do work for some Republican think tank, candidate, or governmental office. If they don’t work directly for campaign many are active with political action groups with agendas.

Blogging has evolved into an entertainment medium and some of these same people have enjoyed such a successful readership that they have now expanded into of all things, like “radio talks shows.” They love it.
It helps to create the illusion of influence. Their influence. And that means money in their pockets.

How else do you explain the fact that many of these bloggers have inside tracks on conferences with political leaders or personal meetings with the folks in Washington in the know? You don’t write the kind of bullshit many of these bloggers do if there were not some incentive to do so. Particularly when it comes to steering people to particular political candidates.

jello.jpgUnfortunately bloggers, many who have been granted some measure “status,”have now started to tell their audiences what to think and how to think.
Now don’t get my angst twisted, I’m all for folks pimping themselves for a few bucks and a few accolades, that tis the American way.
My office wall is full of folks with whom I have a basic measure of respect for because of what they have been able to achieve, but many are also those with who I have some serious political and philosophical differences with.

I have never written a post, nor will I ever, seeking to convince anybody as to what they should think or do. I express my opinions. And you can take them. Or leave them. I don’t care which!

The great thing about reading so many blogs is that I am not alone in my angst and anger at what I am seeing from the Republican establishment.
I am not alone when I write about my disdain at my choices for President of the United States.

However one thing I learned is that the quality of my life will never be dictated by who sits in the oval office. This country is too great for one person to completely wack it up in 4 years.

I am also aware that by me not voting, or should I say me choosing not to select from any of the current crop of sellout losers, that I am indeed making a choice.

I am aware that not all candidates may meet all my criteria, but there are some basic political character issues that must be exhibited by a candidate in order for them to win my trust. And my vote.

I voted for George Bush twice because, although frankly I was never impressed by him overall, I never doubted that he would NOT cave into liberal special interests. He could be counted upon to be firm and resolute on some core GOP issues. As his presidency is coming to an end that gut feeling has basically been proved true. Yes G Dub has issues, but the facts that liberals hate him so much means that he did exactly what I voted for his to do, stand and fight against Democrat tards. He took a firm stand on some key issues and put conservatives on the court.  He did what we conservatives counted upon him to do.

I don’t trust any of these current crop of Republicans to do that.
McCain is a politically appeasing fraud. Romney is a puppet candidate with absolutely no political soul. Huckabee is a joke with a cross.
Giuliani? Please; if there was no 9/11 we would not be talking about him. And what the fuck Ron Paul is confusing at best.

Let me address some specifics I found is some posts:

the people doing the most “enduring” would be our troops and their families, both of whom have sacrificed so much for a goal that is achieveable if only we are able to set aside our differences with whoever the Republican nominee is in order to make sure what we set out in Iraq to do from the get go has a chance at succeeding.

Let me be clear, Hillary if she becomes our leader, will not pull out of Iraq. Any notion that things will significantly change in Iraq because a Democrat is elected is ridiculous. Mark my words.

Medved chimes in:

From a conservative perspective, it’s easy to come up with, say, twenty-five issues areas in which McCain would be preferable to Barack/Clinton. How about the war on terror, taxes, socialized medicine, school choice, cutting government, gays in the military, tort reform, curbing abortion, second amendment rights, nuclear power, pork barrel spending, support for Israel, confronting Iran, affirmative action, appointing strict constructionist judges, and many, many more.

And this dude

. . . . Apparently, these anticipated conservative non-voters are annoyed with Republican imperfection. They are disheartened, disappointed, disillusioned, distempered, dismal — and thus plan to dis the party that better advances conservative principles in government.
They appear to have fallen victim to the false syllogism: 1) Something must be done; 2) not voting is something; therefore, 3) I will not vote.

Of course the fallacy of the syllogism is that the second category could be anything. For example, number two could as well read “eating dog excrement is something.” I rather suspect that they will feel about the same afterward, whether they chose the non-voting option or the scatological one. They are both equally illogical — and repulsive –
and would deserve the moniker, “Stupid.”

More

I refuse to let the desire for perfection be the enemy of good. No
candidate is going to give me all I want. I can find good in some of
them. I’d even hold my nose and vote for McCain if it came to that,
because I’d at least have done my
part to keep a hard core leftist like Hillary, Obama or Edwards from beating a so-so conservative and influencing my life for the next 4 years (minimum and that isn’t counting Supreme Court nominations). And in the case of McCain, he’s been steadfast for victory in Iraq which is of paramount importance to me. But he cannot be counted upon to stay the course when it comes to key conservative values. He’s shown much too often that he can “compromise” on almost anything (read sell out)
when it helps him keep or attain more power.I understand frustration. I’m frustrated as well. We can’t let frustration make us irrational?

Call me, Snoop irrational? Because I decide to make the conscious choice to stand on my principals and not reward the GOP for continuing to cave in to liberal interests and ill fated logic, I’m irrational? Fuck that!

Many of these bloggers posting this bullshit stood by and did not do or say shit when Republicans like McCain boldly thumb the GOP in the eye assuming that during his quest for the presidency we would all just lie down and kiss his old tired ass because our fear of a Democrat occupying the White House would be enough to grant him what was rightly his.

In addition this blogger criticism of people like me, and all the shots at Rush are also bullshit. I have far more respect for Rush now that I ever had because his refuses to compromise his conservative principals for political convenience.
I sincerely hope he chooses not to endorse a single tard Republican candidate, because none of them frankly have earned it. I doubt that the majority of his listening audience thinks that any of these frauds deserve his endorsement.

I said before and I will say it again: all of my life I have considered myself proud to be Republican. However, I must say the good thing about this election cycle is that I realized how silly and bogus it was for me to put on the figurative GOP uniform. It doesn’t mean what I thought it meant. Not any longer.

It is not enough for someone to simply proclaim themselves a Republican.
I want substance in any candidate I choose to vote for. I must believe that, although I may not agree with a given candidate on all issues, I must believe that a candidate is willing to stand on and uphold the basic principals that I hold dear.

Washington is full of conniving shady shyster rednecks on both sides of the political aisle. Most, particularly those on the Republican side are more afraid of losing their lofty status on the hill and are more willing to kiss the ass of Democrats to stay in power than fight against liberal Democrat ideals that certainly will steer this country in the wrong direction.

I don’t give a shit what you detractors say, there is no fundamental difference in voting for any of the current crop of Republicans than there is voting for Hillary or Obama.

If you people are so damm concerned that this nation will slip further left than you should have spoken out and voiced your concerns to the GOP and your particular political representatives and figuratively fired a shot over the bow and sent a message to the likes of John McCain that he is not the type of Republican we want representing the party.

Goddamm McCain should not even be among the choices anyway!

The fact that McCain is what we are left with is embarrassing. This silly old bastard is perfectly willing to compromise and kiss Democrat ass simply to cement his “legacy”, just like Hillary.
You would think that because the GOP party coffers locally (in my state of Kansas, the GOP is flat BROKE) and nationally are empty because folks like myself won’t donate and support these punk ass frauds would have gotten the message.
Democrats are rolling in the money because their national push to the left is working, and the base is vigilant and has made the Republicans open their collective legs are allowing themselves to be fucked by the Democrats like a two dollar an hour tramp.

You fucken people either have short memories, or you really don’t give a fuck, or you are on the payroll. We are not under any obligation to support this punk ass fake ass Republicans.

Before 2012 those of you who consider yourselves conservatives better speak
