Monday, May 19th, 2008Hillary Clinton: “White people support me”
Friday, May 9th, 2008
By Kathy Kiely and Jill Lawrence - LINKHillary Rodham Clinton vowed Wednesday to continue her quest for the Democratic nomination, arguing she would be the stronger nominee because she appeals to a wider coalition of voters — including whites who have not supported Barack Obama in recent contests.
“I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on,” she said in an interview with USA TODAY. As evidence, Clinton cited an Associated Press article “that found how Sen. Obama’s support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me.”
“There’s a pattern emerging here,” she said.
Clinton’s blunt remarks about race came a day after primaries in Indiana and North Carolina dealt symbolic and mathematical blows to her White House ambitions. The Obama campaign, looking toward locking up the nomination, stepped up pressure on superdelegates who have the decisive votes in their race.
In both states, Clinton won six of 10 white voters, according to surveys of people as they left polling places.
Obama spokesman Bill Burton said that in Indiana, Obama split working-class voters with Clinton and won a higher percentage of white voters than in Ohio in March. He said Obama will be the strongest nominee because he appeals “to Americans from every background and all walks of life. These statements from Sen. Clinton are not true and frankly disappointing.”
Clinton rejected any idea that her emphasis on white voters could be interpreted as racially divisive. “These are the people you have to win if you’re a Democrat in sufficient numbers to actually win the election. Everybody knows that.”
Larry Sabato, head of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, said Clinton’s comment was a “poorly worded” variation on the way analysts have been “slicing and dicing the vote in racial terms.”
However, he said her primary support doesn’t prove she’s more electable. Either Democrat will get “the vast majority” of the other’s primary election votes in a general election, he said.
Clinton lost North Carolina by 15 percentage points and won Indiana by 2 points after competing full-out in both states. She had loaned the campaign $6.4 million in the past month. She said she might lend more.
“We should finish the contests we have and see where we stand after they’re over,” she said, referring to the six remaining primaries that will end June 3.
There were signs of unrest Wednesday, even among Clinton allies. California Sen. Dianne Feinstein wondered to The Hill, a Capitol Hill newspaper, “whether she can get the delegates that she needs.” Former South Dakota senator George McGovern, whose 1972 presidential bid gave Clinton her first political experience, switched his support from Clinton to Obama.

ABC, CBS and NBC All Fail to ID Indicted - ABC’s Good Morning America Skips Kilpatrick’s
Tuesday, March 25th, 2008
Sphere: Related ContentTwo weeks since the ABC and NBC evening shows took multiple days before getting around to informing viewers that disgraced New York Governor Eliot Spitzer belonged to the Democratic Party — after every ABC, CBS and NBC morning and evening news program last year immediately highlighted the party of Republican Senators David Vitter and Larry Craig — Monday’s broadcast network evening newscasts all failed to note, verbally or on-screen, Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick’s party.ABC anchor Charles Gibson announced on World News: “Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was charged today with felonies that could cost him his job and 15 years in prison.” NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams relayed how “Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick…was indicted on perjury and other charges in the wake of a sex scandal there.” (NBC also refused to tag Kilpatrick in a full story aired Friday night.) Over on Monday’s CBS Evening News, fill-in anchor Harry Smith introduced a full story: “In Detroit, a sex scandal led to criminal charges today against the Mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick, a married father of three.”
The March 14 CyberAlert item by Rich Noyes, “Study: No (D) for Spitzer, Vitter and Craig Always Tagged as GOP,” explained:
The big three broadcast networks have gone out of their way to avoid labeling scandal-scarred New York Governor Eliot Spitzer as a “Democrat.” An examination of the fifteen ABC, CBS and NBC morning and evening news shows through Wednesday night finds Spitzer was called a Democrat just 20 percent of the time — twice on CBS, once on ABC, and never on NBC. So, how do the networks treat Republicans involved in sex scandals? Always, always as “Republicans.” Looking at the ABC, CBS, NBC morning and evening shows in the days after the most recent scandals broke, Republican Senators David Vitter (July) and Larry Craig (August) were labeled “Republican” on every show (100 percent). Yet for Democrat Spitzer, four out of five news programs (80 percent) have skipped his party identification….

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008
The brilliant scam continues. I have said often, global warming is not about “saving the planet” it’s about money, jobs, research dollars, growing gubment.
In his quest to make San Francisco the greenest city in the nation, Mayor Gavin Newsom recently created a $160,000-a-year job for a senior aide and gave him the ambitious-sounding title of director of climate protection initiatives.
One might expect someone with such an exalted handle to solve global warming and save the rain forest all in a day’s work.
But the new climate protection initiatives director is just the latest person to join the city payroll in the name of tackling global climate woes, raising questions about whether environmentalism is becoming the latest excuse for a bloating government payroll.
San Francisco has at least two dozen other city employees already working directly on climate issues at a cost to taxpayers of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
“Although it sounds very well intentioned, and perhaps even necessary, I’m concerned this is a case where eco-chic has gone out of control,” said Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi, the only Green Party member on the Board of Supervisors.
Newsom’s critics in City Hall have pounced on the amorphous “climate protection” title and have blasted the mayor for creating the new role - as well as for creating new jobs for other members of his senior circle and doling out hefty pay raises - while the city braces for a projected $233 million deficit next fiscal year and lawmakers contemplate reducing hospital operating room hours and delaying playground improvement projects to balance the budget.

Tis why I am becoming a stronger advocate for home schooling… Sphere: Related ContentReading, writing and . . . global warming?A Silicon Valley lawmaker is gaining momentum with a bill that would require “climate change” to be among the science topics that all California public school students are taught.
The measure, by state Sen. Joe Simitian, D-Palo Alto, also would mandate that future science textbooks approved for California public schools include climate change.
“You can’t have a science curriculum that is relevant and current if it doesn’t deal with the science behind climate change,” Simitian said. “This is a phenomenon of global importance and our kids ought to understand the science behind that phenomenon.”
The state Senate approved the bill, SB 908, Jan. 30 by a 26-13 vote. It heads now to the state Assembly. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has taken numerous actions to reduce global warming, but he has yet to weigh in on Simitian’s bill. Other Republicans in the Capitol, however, are not happy about the proposal.

“And then there were two. With John Edwards dropping out of the Democratic presidential race, we are losing a fierce and committed voice for change and for justice, and I, for one, feel that loss like an ache. One of the signature issues of his campaign — one that is near and dear to my own heart — was Edwards commitment to giving voice to those who have none in our money-driven political process. The Democratic party has long been the champion of the downtrodden and the folks in need, and we have sadly forgotten that obligation to the least of these our bretheren the last few years. John Edwards candidacy has been a daily reminder to pick up the charge of the better angels of our nature, and to speak up against those injustices that too often get shoved to the side for more monied and powerful interests….”

Sphere: Related ContentBarack Obama screwed up, Attack on Hillary Backfires
Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008The post below is from a blogger Aidan Maconachy from back in June of last year. I remember reading about Obama’s connection with this Tony Rezko dude months ago. Now his attack on Mrs. Bill opened a door he should have avoided opening.
But forget about that, attacking the King and Queen of dirty politics is a HUGE mistake.
I’m certain they have a library of dirt on Obama and if he goes down that road they Mr and Mrs. Bill will slap him down like a runaway slave.
Barack Obama’s campaign recently accused Hillary Clinton of fund raising among Indian-Americans and investing with an Indian company. This of course also includes the suggestion that the senator is a supporter of outsourcing. India, in the eyes of some, has become almost like an off-shore service center. Many union members see this as selling out America and it is a hugely divisive issue.
There were two main problems with this tactic. Even if there is truth to the accusation, it plays to anti-Indian sentiment and there isn’t enough in the way of damning evidence to make it stick in a manner that will pay off for Obama.Another problem relates to perception. The view that the senator is a gung ho free trader goes back to the administration of Bill Clinton. The problem with that perception is that senator Clinton has put distance between herself and the former administration of her husband given that she is now a candidate in her own right.
A statement released by the Obama campaign, appeared shortly after senator Clinton’s congressional financial disclosure forms went public. The statement accused the Clintons of accruing “significant financial rewards from their relationship with the Indian community.” It also included a reference to the senator as - “Sen.Clinton (D-Punjab)”.
This comes off as juvenile at best, racist at worst and in general not the type of petty attack you would expect from America’s self-proclaimed unifier.
I frankly doubt if Obama himself was in on this. It seems more like the work of over enthusiastic staffers looking to increase the profile of the campaign with a broadside intended to grab attention. As it turns out, it attracted the wrong type of attention.
The head of the US-India Political Action Committee, Sanjay Puri, relayed his displeasure and suggested the Obama campaign may be trafficking in “anti Indian-American stereotyping”. The protests hit home and Obama apologized to leaders of the Indian-American community.
Obviously in terms of demographics, the Indian-American community isn’t a major factor at the polls at this juncture in US history, but that is hardly the point. The fall-out from this gaff comes down to perceptions. Obama’s support has been slipping of late. He didn’t hit his stride in the TV debates and seemed nervous at times. He even admitted to having a case of the jitters. Incidents such as “D-Punjab” followed by yet another apology, risk making him appear unfocused and even weak. His claim to be about unity and a fresh vision is bound to suffer when attacks of this sort are judged to be petty and self-serving.
His stance as a campaign finance reform champion, has also been tarnished to some degree by his long standing connections with Tony Rezko, variously described as a “gangster” or “slum landlord” or even “regular Chicago-style business type guy” - depending on your point-of-view. Whether or not Rezko is more like a Donald Trump than a Tony Soprano is hard to say, but once again it comes down to perceptions.
Obama’s tendency to under-perform on the big stage along with recent gaffs makes you wonder if he is capable of landing a major punch under pressure that can hit the mark and score needed points.
Obama on Rezko deal: It was a mistake - November 5, 2006
Two decades ago, Antoin “Tony” Rezko was running a food company that peddled hot dogs on Chicago’s beaches. Daniel S. Mahru supplied the ice.
These businessmen had a brainstorm for a new venture — rehabbing rundown buildings for poor black families.Rezko and Mahru had no construction experience. Yet City Hall gave their new company, Rezmar Corp., a $629,000 loan to help fix up an abandoned apartment building at 46th and Drexel. They had applied for the loan just six days after Richard M. Daley won his first term as mayor in 1989, having campaigned on a promise to build more housing for the poor.

Monday, January 14th, 2008From the NY Times via Sweetness & Light
COLUMBIA, S.C. — Robert L. Johnson, the founder of Black Entertainment Television, who is campaigning today in South Carolina with Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, just made a suggestion that raised the specter of Barack Obama’s past drug use. He also compared Mr. Obama to Sidney Poitier, the black actor, in “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.”At a rally here for Mrs. Clinton at Columbia College, Mr. Johnson was defending recent comments that Mrs. Clinton made regarding Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. She did not mean to take any credit away from him, Mr. Johnson said, when she said that it took President Johnson to sign the civil rights legislation he fought for.Dr. King had led a “moral crusade,” Mr. Johnson said, but such crusades have to be “written into law.”
“That is the way the legislative process works in this nation and that takes political leadership,” he said. “That’s all Hillary was saying.”
He then added: “And to me, as an African-American, I am frankly insulted that the Obama campaign would imply that we are so stupid that we would think Hillary and Bill Clinton, who have been deeply and emotionally involved in black issues since Barack Obama was doing something in the neighborhood – and I won’t say what he was doing, but he said it in the book – when they have been involved.”
Moments later, he added: “That kind of campaign behavior does not resonate with me, for a guy who says, ‘I want to be a reasonable, likable, Sidney Poitier ‘Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.’ And I’m thinking, I’m thinking to myself, this ain’t a movie, Sidney. This is real life.”
Gee, yet another Clinton hireling attacking Mr. Obama for his drug use and/or dealing.
(And just after attending church services, too.)
Still, why doesn’t Obama just explain how he “didn’t inhale” and put it all behind him?
Over at Michelle Malkin She brings up the Sidney Poitier remark:
This is how they view Obama–as the unbearably, too perfect, too presumptuous, accomplished black doctor character in “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.”If Obama is Poitier, then Johnson and Hillary’s black demagogues are the real-life analogies of Spencer Tracey and Katharine Hepburn’s racist black maid, Tillie, who derides Poitier and treats him as a traitor to his race.
A bit of movie trivia:
The film also attempted to touch upon black-on-black racism, as when both the doctor’s father and the household cook Matilda ‘Tillie’ Binks, played by Isabel Sanford in a small but memorable role, take the young man to task for his perceived presumption……The original version of this film that played in theaters in 1967 contained the sarcastic one-liner “The Reverend Martin Luther King!”, issued by the sassy black maid Tillie in response to the question, “Guess who’s coming to dinner?”, which is the key line of dialogue from which the film got its title. However, after the assassination of Martin Luther King on April 4, 1968, this line was removed from the film, so by August 1968, almost all theater showings of this film had this line omitted. As early as 1969, the line was restored to many but not most prints, and the line was preserved in the VHS and DVD versions of the film as well.
Folks let me tell you, although I’m not a Democrat and have no intention on voting for either of these people Hillary fucked up. Black folks even ones who may not have voted for Obama will turn on her racist ass in a heartbeat. Black folks are not going to allow a white politician, even the Clintons, to drag another black man on the back of the figurative pick-up truck.
The Democrat Party is in serious trouble on this issue, all of these years the Democrats have bitched and moaned and distorted the fact that it was the Republicans who were the primary arbiters of racist and bigoted politics.
Hillary wants to be president badly, and like Dick Morris said she is not beyond destroying Obama on race issues to capture the White House.
Obama watch your back!!!
Wow, Hillary pulls out the crying card…
Monday, January 7th, 2008Clinton fights tears: “It’s not easy” - Oh BOO FUCKEN HOO!!
This tells me that she is genuinely worried. This early in the campaign she uses the gender card, the crying beat down woman, particularly since the “focus groups” said she was a cold calculating person. People see through her crap, they are not falling for her bullshit.
So she stages this fake ass crying moment, amazing!!
But….BUT don’t be fooled you will see more crap like this post (Hillary Chokes Back Tears, Wins (My) Respect) spring up later today and down the campaign road.

Thursday, December 13th, 2007Found via Moonbattery
Not all Democrats in Congress bother to be subtle about their hostility toward our culture, and their eagerness to pander to those who share that hostility.A few weeks ago Congress passed a resolution recognizing the brutal terrorist cult Islam as “one of the great religions of the world” and honoring Ramadan. It passed unanimously.
Then came a resolution with similar wording, honoring Christmas, and decrying violence against Christians around the world. Nine Congresskooks were bold enough in their depravity to vote against it:
- Gary Ackerman (D-NY)
- Yvette Clarke (D-NY)
- Diana DeGette (D-CO)
- Alcee Hastings (D-FL)
- Barbara Lee (D-CA)
- Jim McDermott (D-WA)
- Robert Scott (D-VA)
- Pete Stark (D-CA)
- Lynn Woolsey (D-CA)
Ten others voted “present”; here’s a surprise: one of them (Mike Pence of Indiana) isn’t a Democrat.
Presumably all of these characters have more Christians in their districts than Muslims. Whoever they’re representing, it isn’t the misguided voters who put them in office.
On tips from V the K and Cheetah. Hat tip: Michelle Malkin.
Y’all know I’m very much a Republican and I have ranted often about how screwed up Democrats are and why all of us Republicans need to work hard at keeping as many of these Democrat jackasses out of office as possible.
I heard Tom Brokaw on a radio interview talking about how we need to abandon partisan politics and come together in peace and harmony put our political positions aside for the sake of the nation.
Is Tom on crack? Seriously, is there anyone out there reading this post that actually thinks that abandoning YOUR political ideology and core principals is a good thing? And substitute them for what?
Let me tell you, the notion that I could somehow, alter my political leaning to become more “tolerant” of Democrats and their views “for the sake of the nation” is just retarded.
The post above is one of many examples of why I find the majority of liberal Democrats repugnant.
Democrats routinely sacrifice the safety, security and core American values that make this nation great, simply for political gain. Democrats actually take pride in; bashing and maligning our military, attacking core Christian values, catering to elements that actively seek to destroy this nation i.e. wiping the collective asses of radical Islamic types.
Democrats are proficient in promoting race baiting politics, poverty pimping, loathing capitalism; they fight harder to protect American trees rather than the American people, they actually believe we are not taxed enough and they are successful at promoting the notion that they and only they are the champions of promoting civil rights and
Democrats have a perpetual hard on for increasing bureaucracy.
I don’t know about you, but I want Democrats to lose, I want them relegated to the back of the political ideological bus forever.
Tom Brokaw and anyone else preaching this political reconciliation bullshit needs to start paying attention to the stupid shit Democrats say and do every damm day.
Crazy Clinton stuff
Tuesday, December 11th, 2007This is from Red State - Bill when he said this crazy shit was either on crack or he just had a mind blowing BJ.
I’m beginning to be a bit embarrassed by this continued nonsense that Hillary is somehow this great and brilliant woman.
This blog is not big enough to list all of the great women in this country both in business, politics, executive positions, community leaders, folks just Google the list of the top women executives not to forget the women around the world who are truly making a difference in all of our lives.
Forget my political leanings people; it would be almost impossible for anybody who looked closely at Hillary’s background and determine that she is the “”most gifted” person of our generation!?.” That is simply a criminally insane statement.
Bill Clinton lies like a silk sheet on a waterbed. Well, ok-he IS a silk sheet on a waterbed, but that’s not my point. I’m getting fairly accustomed to his nonsense-the great orator in modern times and all that. But really, MUST I be subjected to this?:
The former president opened a two-day swing through Iowa on behalf of his wife, packing nearly 500 people into a theater on the campus of Iowa State University.”She has spent a lifetime as a change agent when she had the option to do other things,” he said.
“I thought she was the most gifted person of our generation,” said Clinton, who said he told her, “You know, you really should dump me and go back home to Chicago or go to New York and take one of those offers you’ve got and run for office.”
OK-the urge to vomit has subsided…I can continue now.
“Most Gifted” person of our generation? Sorry, Hill…you don’t even come close babes.

They include dishwashers, waiters, contributors who deny making contributions, and another who “admitted to lacking the legal-resident status required for giving campaign money.” And more:
Dishwashers, waiters and others whose jobs and dilapidated home addresses seem to make them unpromising targets for political fundraisers are pouring $1,000 and $2,000 contributions into Clinton’s campaign treasury. In April, a single fundraiser in an area long known for its gritty urban poverty yielded a whopping $380,000. When Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) ran for president in 2004, he received $24,000 from Chinatown……Of 74 residents of New York’s Chinatown, Flushing, the Bronx or Brooklyn that The Times called or visited, only 24 could be reached for comment.

Harry Reid Less Popular Than George Bush In Nevada
Monday, October 15th, 2007From Captains Quarters
I just left the great state of Nevada, so the latest polling by the Las Vegas Review-Journal has a special appeal to me. Harry Reid’s high-profile leadership of the Democratic Party has impressed the folks back home, but not in the way that Reid would prefer. He now scores lower favorabilty ratings than George Bush, and his negatives go higher than Hillary Clinton’s (via Memeorandum):
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s appeal among Nevadans has plunged dramatically in a new Review-Journal poll, which finds him viewed unfavorably by most likely voters in his home state. …The poll asked 625 likely voters from around the state whether they recognized a politician’s name, and if so, if they had a favorable, unfavorable or neutral opinion of that person. The survey carries a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.Reid’s favorable rating was 32 percent, compared with 51 percent unfavorable and 15 percent neutral. Gibbons was viewed favorably by 30 percent, Bush by 34 percent.
The Review-Journal last asked Nevadans their opinion of Reid in early May. At that time, he was seen favorably by 46 percent and unfavorably by 42 percent.
Reid can breathe a sigh of relief that he doesn’t face re-election for another two years. The numbers for Reid would indicate that he might not even survive a primary challenge, let alone a re-election general election. The trend also gives Reid a big problem for a man who ran as a more conservative Democrat and who has now alienated most of the constituencies that elected him.
Ah this give me an excuse to repost this clip with Dennis Miller as he cracks on Moonbat Reid

Phony Soldiers? A Phony Story Is More Like It.

Have you heard about the latest “controversy” involving Rush Limbaugh that has been made up from scratch by Media Matters and relentlessly promoted by the left side of the blogosphere? Now, you might actually conclude from reading that headline that Rush Limbaugh said that, Service members who support U.S. withdrawal are “phony soldiers.”
Actually, he didn’t.
Once again, here’s the headline, from Media Matters,

Ah hell I was not sure I wanted to post this, but since dude on Right Wing did a piece on this “phony” outrage, I figured my Poop readers should get the 411.
You know while on one hand I really getting tired of Media Matters and their blatant distortion of the facts on shit they have on their site, I kinda understand why they do what they do and why they are so successful at smear.
I heard on Rush’s show some of the comments made by some liberal Democrats denouncing what Rush said, I always have to remind myself that Democrats and liberals are never interested in truth, it’s simply about winning and Media Matters knows that the majority of their kook constituents only priority is getting their people in office at all costs.
Now don’t get me wrong, the purpose of this blog is to post stuff that interests me and my political views and yes, I want “my side to win.”
But I have never knowingly posted 411 here that I knew was bullshit just so I can make a fucking cheep political point.
Democrats must use deception to stay in power, but the scary thing is it works like a charm.
I’m dumbfounded at how many websites posted bullshit about O’Reilly and how they took his comments out of context when after reading further, few if any actually read or heard the comments themselves.
I’m perplexed at the vast differences in simple logic between the right blogsphere and the left.
Blogger on the right, in most cases go out of their way to get to the bottom of a story or issue and actively seek to get as much firm details on an issue as possible and the rarely comment and post shit unless they have their fucken facts straight.
Media Matters has these crackpot liberals by the mental ballz. It’s apparent that liberals can’t process information unless it has been pissed on by Media Matters.
Here are a few examples:
(link) Media Matters for America is calling attention to a Rush Limbaugh rant from his show on Wednesday in which he dismisses U.S. troops, including those now serving in Iraq, who disagree with President Bush’s stay-until-victory strategy as “phony soldiers.”
And my colleague Jeff Fecke at Blog of the Moderate Left wonders whether those, including Sen. Norm Coleman, who were outraged by the MoveOn.org ad that was insufficiently respectful toward Gen. David Petraeus, will bring equal energy to denouncing Limbaugh for being insufficiently respectful toward some of the troops.*********
(link) Following the MoveOn non-controversy, some of our local dingbats went on a largely unnoticed mini-crusade to get WA-08 Congressional candidate Darcy Burner to condemn the anti-war organization’s ad. “Rush Limbaugh’s personal attack on our men and women in uniform is reprehensible. It minimizes the sacrifice our troops in Iraq and their families are making and has no place in the public discourse. Rush Limbaugh owes our military and their families an apology for his hurtful comments that minimize their service to our country.”

(link) John Amato: “I’m calling on the Senate to pass an amendment or uphold their latest one and condemn Rush Limbaugh’s cowardly acts on our troops! Soldiers from the 82nd Airborne in Iraq wrote a NY Times op-ed—criticizing the war in Iraq, and had the bravery to suggest that it was time to develop an exit strategy. Two of them just died. Are they phonies, Rush? Where’s the “sense of the Senate” on this outrage?
Let me be clear, I don’t give a shit that you oppose the U.S. being in Iraq, or oppose our Middle East policy, or how we use our troops or what our military priorities should be.
When I read lefty blog I’m interested in the discourse many provide and of course I don’t agree with much of it, but I think it’s important for me to be knowledgeable on issues and to remain grounded in my viewpoints I have an obligation (to myself) to be informed, understand and comprehend opposing viewpoints without filters. Whether it’s Media Matters or the MSM, John Stewart, Keith Olberman on the left, Newsbusters, Rush, O’Reilly on the right.
Especially since I dedicate so much time keeping up this paltry blog
Through my extensive blog reading on the right and left, watching the MSM, watching a lot of You Tube and taking in countless other political information sources I have a pretty fair grasp on the world around me and one thing that Rush taught me when I first started listening to his show (from day one) and why no other on air pundit comes close to him is he encourages his listeners to seek out the truth. Don’t simply take his word on issues, read and hear the bullshit on the left for yourself.
You should never be afraid at seeking opposing viewpoints and listening to opposing viewpoints.
This is why people who say they don’t watch Fox News are cowards and tells you everything you need to know about them intellectually.
I would never EVER, encourage anyone NOT to listen to a MSM network, a liberal talk show host, or a source like the NY Times, it’s not even logical.
Far too many people are just too fucken lazy to seek the truth on issues and choose to allow their minds to be filtered.
This is not about “standing up for” Rush, dude is a fucken multi-millionaire, he could care less what I think.
This is about simple honesty. If the goal of the left and lefty blogsphere is simply to WIN then by all means distort, lie, manipulate, conceal. Ignorance is obviously bliss in the liberal world.

“I don’t feel no ways tired. I come too far from where I started from. Nobody told me that the road would be easy. I don’t believe He brought me this far,” drawled presidential aspirant Hillary Clinton, mimicking black voice to a black audience, at the First Baptist Church of Selma, Alabama. I’m wondering if Mrs. Clinton visits an Indian reservation she might cozy up to them saying, “How! Me not tired. Me come heap long way. Road mighty rough. Sky Spirit no bring me this far.” Or, seeking the Asian vote she might say, “I no wray tired. Come too far I started flum. Road berry clooked. Number one Dragon King take me far.”
The occasion of Mrs. Clinton’s speech was the 42nd anniversary of Bloody Sunday, on March 7, 1965, when 600 civil rights marchers were attacked by police with billy clubs, cattle prods and tear gas, one of the high points in the black civil rights struggle. Commemorating a key point in American history is one thing, but a white person mimicking black dialect is demeaning and insulting. And, if it buys her votes from those in attendance, not much flattering can be said about them.
Mrs. Clinton later explained her drawl, around black audiences, to a meeting of the National Association of Black Journalists, “I lived all those years in Arkansas, and, you know, I’m in this interracial marriage.” The interracial marriage bit has to do with the frequent reference to former President Clinton, by the Congressional Black Caucus and others, as the “first black president.”
Hillary had dude killed!! News at 11:00!

The Los Angeles Times will report on this website later tonight and in Wednesday’s print editions that a major Democratic Party fundraiser named Norman Hsu is wanted by authorities for skipping out on an agreement to serve up to three years in prison after pleading no contest to grand theft swindling charges.
In an exclusive story by Chuck Neubauer and Robin Fields, The Times will report that for three years Hsu has been carving out a place of political and financial influence by funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions into Democratic Party coffers, much of the money earmarked for Sen. Hillary Clinton. He has earned the ranking of Hillraiser for pledging to raise at least $100,000 for her.
He has given to several big-name Democrats, including presidential candidates Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Swimmer Kennedy, too.
“He is a fugitive,” said Ronald Smetana of the California attorney general’s office. “Do you know where he is?”
Perhaps he’s in China where the rest of the Clintons’ 1996 pals fled to.

Big Dem fundraiser wanted on swindling charges
The LA Times reports that Norman Hsu, powerful fundraiser for the Democratic party, is a wanted man “hiding in plain sight.” Declared a ‘fugitive’ by the California attorney general, Hsu is wanted for evading a jail sentence for pleading no contest to charges of grand theft swindling.
Hsu evidently faced up to three years in prison for the charge. Hsu’s lawyer, contacted Tuesday, recalls neither Hsu’s pleading to a criminal case nor facing jail time.
Over the years, Hsu has contributed to the campaigns of Dianne Feinstein, Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Edward Kennedy. His fundraising efforts for Hilary Clinton already total over $1 million. A spokesperson for the Clinton campaign said “We have no reason to call his contributions into question or to return them.”
