Race-hustler Maxine Waters endorses Hillary

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

waters.JPG

From Michelle Malkin

Today’s birds of a feather entry: Race-hustler Maxine Waters is set to endorse Hillary Clinton in a conference call today. Maybe Hill will put a little Selma-style flavor in her voice today to celebrate. I came to know and loathe Waters when I lived and worked in Los Angeles. Here’s the column I wrote about Democrat pandering to Waters in August 2000. It still stands today:The Party of Maxine WatersShe is one of the most self-serving, hate-filled, race-obsessed politicians in America. The Democratic Party doesn’t just embrace her. It kneels at her feet.

Los Angeles Congresswoman Maxine Waters reigned supreme this week when Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Lieberman appeared before a black audience to “explain” himself. The Connecticut senator’s sins? Opposing affirmative action and supporting educational vouchers that benefit minority children. Lieberman, once a courageous voice for equal opportunity, has now been schooled: Pander hard and keep your dissenting thoughts to yourself.

After throwing a hissy-fit in the press because she had not been personally consulted about Al Gore’s veep picks (”I never had the opportunity to talk to anybody about it before he was decided on as the vice presidential choice,” she whined), Waters gave her benediction.

The skilled publicity hound dissed and then kissed Lieberman for the cameras; a cheek-to-cheek photo of the couple appeared in newspapers across the country.

It’s Only Going to Get Worse

This article by Marty Peretz from The New Republic

Bill Clinton dozed off at the Convent Avenue Baptist Church in Harlem just as his wife was receiving the endorsement (or, more properly, the blessing) of Calvin Butts at Abyssinian Baptist Church, eight or so blocks away.  This church had been the pulpit of Adam Clayton Powell Jr. — “Mr. Jesus” to his congregation, member of Congress and husband to the politically fearless lefty (just one instance: as a witness before the House Un-American Activities Committees) and staggeringly sexual songstress of my youth, Hazel Scott, like Lena Horne.  A randy fellow. I don’t think that black preachers have the sway they once had. Or white ministers, for that matter, except for those who are evangelicals and fundamentalists operating out of humongous mall churches. But back to the black ministers and their diminished sway.  The decline of preacher power is a coming of age of the African-American population, much as it is among Irish and Italian Catholics or Jews or, for a demographically near-fatal shift, mainstream Protestants, who mostly and at best think their ministers are irrelevant.  The black clerisy cannot any longer instruct its parishoners about their voting.  It is an irony, of course, that the Harlem pastorate’s last swing at real political influence over their congregations is for a white woman and against a black man.  Yet it also emphasizes their reactionary cast.  No one since Martin Luther King has anyone so inspired and energized young whites as Barack Obama.  This, then, is a real cross-racial alliance built on the cultural and educational achievements of African-Americans and on the true openness of whites and Asians to their black brothers and sisters. The bond between every Calvin Butts in America and Hillary is the old fix, pliant for the former, patronizing for the latter. And, as for the latter and her husband, it is also ugly.  An article in this morning’s Financial Times by Edward Luce and Stephanie Kirchgaessner makes clear how perilous this is for the Clintons — and for the Democrats, in general.  The most significant trap is that Bill risks making himself the prime issue of his wife’s campaign, two nasty and unimaginably calculating folk baying at Barack Obama whom almost everyone finds gracious. Me too.

There is a calculus to the Clintons trying to make Obama run as the black candidate.  It is to stir up fear in one part of Hillary’s constituency, white women and particularly older white women.  The other goal for Hillary is to turn Obama into a taunt for Hispanic Americans.   After all, there was not one significant black figure in the Clinton administration, except on what you’d have to call the black reservations like Housing.  Yes, there was the supreme fixer outside the administration, probably because he couldn’t get confirmed for anything or no plausible appointment was high enough for him, Vernon Jordan. The Clintons did not offend Hispanic Americans, not at all.  For instance, they made Bill Richardson U.N. ambassador.

One of the largely unexamined frontiers in American politics is the one between African-Americans and Hispanic Americans, and it is at best a frosty frontier.  There are more voting Latinos than there are voting blacks in the electorate, and probably more in the larger states that are soon to have primaries.  Like New York and California on Super Tuesday.  Watch for malicious mischief.

Obama splits Black Congressional Liberal Negro Caucus…Hilarity ensues

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

cbc2a.jpg

<

Even though Barack Obama may become the first African-American ever to represent a major party as the nominee for president, many black lawmakers on Capitol Hill are not supporting him. And that’s creating tensions within the Congressional Black Caucus.More than a third of the black members of Congress are backing Hillary Rodham Clinton or John Edwards in the presidential primary, a stance that puts them at odds with many of their African-American constituents, who, recent polls show, are beginning to shift to Obama’s camp. The Clinton supporters — among them, civil rights pioneer Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) and Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles B. Rangel (D-N.Y.) — have said their endorsements didn’t hinge on race. Instead, they cited long-standing relationships with the Clintons, a respect for Hillary Clinton’s experience in national politics and, for some, geographical alliances with her in New York.

But now that Obama has won the Iowa caucuses and appears poised to do well in other early-primary states, some African-American lawmakers are pointing to the Clinton backers and calling them political opportunists who did not believe in the electability of a black candidate.

Graeme Frost and the perils of Democrat poster child abuse

Monday, October 8th, 2007

Deception is perfectly ok if it helps the children.
frost.jpgFrom Michelle Malkin

The most buzzworthy story on the right side of the blogosphere this weekend concerned young Graeme Frost, the 12-year-old child severely injured in a terrible car accident that also left his sister with permanent disabilities.

Graeme Frost was propped up by Democrats desperate to avert the president’s veto of S-CHIP legislation, which would have massively expanded the government health care entitlement. The Dems are trying to muster up enough votes to override President Bush’s veto. They’ve scheduled a vote for Oct. 18.

The boy gave the Democratic radio address last week, written for him by Senate Democrat staffers, and made several Beltway lobbying appearances with top Dem leaders. (Listen to Graeme’s address here.) The accident was horrible. The children deserve much sympathy and compassion. But legislation-by-anecdote is a tricky thing, and should only be done when the anecdotes actually hold some water. It turns out–as it does with so many health care stories pimped by the Democrats and the MSM–that there is much more to the Frosts’ story than meets the eye.

The family is not as destitute as the MSM has made them out to be. FreeRepublic member icwhatudo asks the tough questions the mainstream media won’t ask. Like why a “working family” in need of government-subsidized health care can afford to send two children to a $20,000-a-year-private school. And more (go to the post for more embedded links)

Snoop Rants: Blacks, the GOP, whitey sucks!

Friday, September 21st, 2007

democratlogo1a.JPGOk, I’m gonna use this GOP should “woo” blacks” bullshit article below and the Donavan McNabb “black quarterbacks are under more scrutiny” bullshit article as reference sources for this rant.

First, what can I say about my man Donavan, if you have not heard about his whining like a little bitch, read article here.
Ranting like a typical Negro with nauseating levels of self-pity and victimhood, it’s just pathetic. As I have stated numerous times I’m again embarrassed, I know I did not say that stupid shit and can’t process that level of moronic thinking, but as a “brotha” it just bothers you in the gut, because all darkies suffer at the hands of such ill logic and
Self-pity. It’s a bad role model for young black men in an era where black male role models are hard to find.

He or course plays the blame-whitey card a popular play in today’s Negro world.
The black subculture and our attachment to it is very strong, and blame-whitey habits die hard or hardly die.

Now let me be very clear, you will NEVER hear me say that racism per se doesn’t exist, I’ve given my numerous examples, however Negros everywhere need to be encouraged to understand what they’re capable of despite racism.
Racism, in whatever form, is not “holding us back.” At this point in history, it is a sad reminder of how it held back many, and its residual effects will live on. Racism and bigotry are not “white” traits, however. They’re human traits. The next time you call a white person a “racist bigot,” stop and examine yourself. Someone somewhere can truthfully say the same about you.
I’m certain those who read many of my rants that I’m a racist SOB, LOL!

The GOP Negro Tent

First if you are like me a hard right leaning type the notion that the GOP should actively “woo” Negros under the GOP tent is a ridiculous notion.
I’ll ask the obvious question you white folks would love to ask your average Negro you meet. Just what issues are “specifically” black issues?

Now I’m a reasonable smart dude, (on occasion) but I have yet to read a coherent answer to this complex quandary.

  • Let me guess, WELFARE, hell I don’t know, a greater proportion of Negros are on welfare, so is the issue in the Negro community will be “am I gonna get my check?”
  • Ok let try CRIME, “if I smoke crack, or pop a cap in yo ass, am I going to jail or skate like O.J.?”
  • Ok, JOBS, “I know I did not finish, junior high school, but can you hook a brotha up with a job payin’ one fiddy and hour or so?” or “we need to raise that minimum wage again”

The GOP tent issue will never be an option for the mass majority of Negros throughout America, EVER, because Negros must make a choice not to be pawns of idiot Democrat race baiting hysterical thinking.

As long as Negros insist on being hyphenated Americans, assuming that racism causes black failure (Mr. McNabb), cry about the incarceration rates of Negros when Negros can’t even get together at an awards show without getting into a fight, refuse to get an education, stop having babies left and right, calling black women bitches, and waist their hours and their money on trivial bullshit.

Now, GOP candidates can’t go to gatherings with an abundance of Negros in the audience and chastise Negros for their irrational logic.  So why attend any debates and try to pacify an audience that won’t vote for you anyway?

Black folks instead of encouraging education, law-abiding behavior, developing good financial practices and competitive businesses, the predictable response is to drag down standards for Negros so they are judged separately.

Why would the GOP court such nonsense? Stupidity is not a political platform I want to get behind or support. For Democrats that mindset is fine with them, because few Democrats are truly concerned about the general welfare and survival of Negros in this country, only that votes are delivered in a timely manner.
Far too many Negros rarely understand the concept of individualism and self-reliance, that obligatory finger is always pointed outward at someone else, AT YOU WHITEY!

The assumption that the concept of individualism is “mean-spirited,” black people are sometimes afraid to compete and fail, (McNabb) so they hide behind their skin. It’s true that during slavery and legal segregation, a collective mind-set may have been necessary for our survival. But times have changed, and some old things should pass away.

The sad reality is racism becomes a mitigating circumstance for black criminals, banks disregard qualifications and risk money on blacks with bad credit because it’s “racist” to require them to have good credit, and the government, charged with treating citizens equally before the law, create set-asides for black-owned businesses so they can get a “fair share” of the city’s business. At the same time otherwise intelligent people think all this is “fair.” as if to say to whitey, you owe us!

We fail to process that collective pigmentation grievances hold people back, not move them forward. Being handed a race-based entitlement (especially from the government) is no different to me than being handed a rotten steak served on a garbage can lid.

Individualism doesn’t mean you don’t help others. It means rather than turning to the government for handouts and solutions, you use your own mind, creativity, ingenuity, and Buddy Jesus given talents to help others and yourself.

The Negro Democratic Plantation is a secure domain, (geek lingo) represented by powerful leaders with influential voices. Being a Negro with an independent voice and mindset is difficult and tough for many to deal with.
I’ve been referred to as an Uncle Tom a sellout and an 80 year old white women and old white man (seriously), but I find it amusing and quickly tell those with that opinion to kiss my black ass.

I am hardly a GOP toady, I am not in politics, I do not work for nor have I ever worked for a political campaign, don’t belong to any political or social organizations, I’m hardly a media person, my shitty typing confirms that, I’m not paid to blog, nor do I make a penny off of blogging or any other media activity.
So what the fuck would be my motivation?

As for the GOP and “wooing” Negros I’m not sure if the GOP will ever be able to turn the tide in any significant manner. More prominent Negros are surfacing on the political scene, but until you see a significant turnaround in the number of black folks actively working within the party system, prominently featured in the campaigns of high profile white GOP candidates, prominently featured on news pundit shows representing GOP interests and platforms or more importantly credible black GOP candidates, black folks will continue to turn a deaf ear to the GOP message no matter how enticing.

Al Sharpton and Wal-Mart: Open-borders buddies

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

From Michelle Malkin

The nation’s biggest racial demagogue and the nation’s biggest employer joined hands at the National Council of La Raza’s annual conference to push for another shamnesty bill. AP reports:

The Rev. Al Sharpton and Wal-Mart CEO Lee Scott became unlikely allies Tuesday in their call to revive immigration legislation, in speeches before the nation’s largest Hispanic civil rights organization. “Congress needs to pass a comprehensive immigration reform bill now,” said Scott, who heads the world’s largest retailer.

Scott attributed his views in part to his Mexican-American granddaughter, who has helped him to understand immigration as more than “simply a cerebral exercise.”

Read the rest here, but hold on….

I thought people like poverty pimp Al Sharpton represented the interest of Negro folks?
Illegal immigration hurts blacks, particularly poor blacks more than any other racial demographic. Sharpton obviously dismisses this notion. Oh well, a few more unemployed black folks as a result of illegal immigrants won’t matter.

Let’s see black unemployment is around 10.5 percent and increasing.
Factoring in education, in 2000, 65 percent of black male high school dropouts in their 20’s were jobless that is, unable to find work, not seeking it or incarcerated. By 2004, the share had grown to 72 percent, compared with 34 percent of white and 19 percent of Hispanic dropouts. Even when high school graduates were included, half of black men in their 20’s were jobless in 2004, up from 46 percent in 2000.

There is furious debate amongst blacks over the economic impact that the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. have on the job market.
I have read many articles by black intellectual types stating that there is no concrete evidence that employers hire Latinos at low-end jobs and exclude blacks from them solely because of their race.
However after being in Los Angeles I frankly think that is bullshit.

These same black intellectuals also state that many blacks will no longer work the low skilled, menial factory, restaurant, and custodial jobs that in decades past they filled. The pay is too low, the work too hard, and the indignities too great. I guess being poor, broke and jobless is preferable.

Now employers vehemently deny that they shun blacks, and maintain that blacks don’t apply for these jobs; I find that hard to believe.
I frankly don’t get why these sellout black folks are so protective of illegal immigrants.
The only thing I can think of is in order to maintain their political slave master relationship with the Democratic Party, black misery must be tied to Republicans, Bush, or tax cuts for the rich.

Let me tell you, growing up in Oakland this culture and job clash was a problem back then. Mexicans and blacks don’t like each other, so any perceived “collaboration” between black folks and the illegal Mexican lobbyists types are just a political smoke screen.

This is an old You Tube clip showing this lady who owns a landscaping business and saying that half of her workforce is made up of illegal immigrants.

The no so subtle message from people like this lady who says her jobs are “too hard for most people” is that blacks won’t be hired, even if they do apply. “You niggas are just too lazy.”
Let’s get real; an entire category of jobs at the bottom rung of American industry has been clearly marked as “Latino only” jobs. Further evidence that illegal immigration (cheep labor) increases the economic misery of poor blacks.

However, Democrats will argue, no problem give the Mexicans the low paying jobs and we will simply increase welfare perks for you Negros who prefer to stay at home and watch courtroom shows all day. It’s the least we can do for you Negros as long as you continue voting Democrat.

For just $8 you too can end poverty!!

Friday, July 13th, 2007

I’m just trying to imagine the strategy session meeting with the Edwards camp in coming up with the $8 figure that is suppose to eradicate poverty.

His campaign team STILL has not grasped the concept that a man living in a crib with mad acreage, high priced haircuts, charging a speaking fee of $55,000 to talk about poverty, folks are just suppose to say ah fuck it, none of that matters if we send out enough of these bullshit e-mails people will forget that.
But the liberal genius Trippi will tell his peeps well it worked for Howard Dean, just put George Bush or Republicans hates the poor and that is guaranteed fundraising gold.
Fucken idiots!

One in 8 Americans currently lives in poverty. George Bush is ignoring all 37 million of them. We need to stop ignoring poverty—and make ending it a national priority.

John Edwards is launching the Road to One America Tour next week to shine a light on the 37 million Americans who live in poverty. If we don’t stand up for them, who will? George Bush and his corporate buddies won’t. The lobbyists in Washington won’t. And since the media can’t stop talking about Paris Hilton, you can bet they won’t help shine a light on it.

Will you help end poverty by giving $8?

That’s why we need you. You can stand with us by making a small but meaningful contribution of just $8 to support the only campaign dedicated to ending poverty in America in 30 years.

Race and Poverty No Longer Dirty Words in Democrats’ Mouths

Saturday, May 5th, 2007
blacksanddemos.jpgIn the span of twenty-four hours, top Democratic presidential contenders Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John Edwards uttered two dirty words that have terrified Democratic presidential contenders for more than a decade. The words are race and poverty.

The occasion was the fifteenth anniversary of the L.A. riots in late April. The three contenders thundered in speeches at different spots in Southern California that America had failed the poor and especially the black poor.

It’s no puzzle why top Democrats have been closed mouth for so long on race and poverty issues. They haven’t had to really say or do much about it to keep the black vote. Blacks are the most loyal of Democrat shock troops. In every election stretching back to Lyndon Johnson’s landslide victory in 1964, they have given the Democrats more than eighty percent of their vote.

Many blacks loudly grouse that the Democrats practice blatant plantationism with them, namely that they take their votes for granted. A handful of blacks even have made some noise about defecting to the Republicans. But the Democrats are secure in the knowledge that it’s just that, talk.

Oprah discussion day 2, Ghetto minstrels circling the wagons…

Tuesday, April 17th, 2007

*******
This is Oprah discussion day 2, on Imus and racism and rap music, this discussion was a joke because Russell Simmons and the other ghetto minstrels on the panel are simply circling the wagons.

This topic does not need a lot of discussion because these black men are simply getting rich of the backs and “asses” of black women.
It was clear during this discussion that they don’t want to acknowledge their role in demeaning women and glamorizing ghetto clown culture.
Simmons referred to these fools as “poets” which told me immediately that nothing will change.
Simmons and this other dude in the clip even went so far as to call these rap thugs “victims of a racist society.”
Watch the clip and be amazed at the level of stupidity.
Below is an article I found that spells out this situation perfectly.

One of the guest complained about the “lynch mob mentality towards hip hop” I say GOOD we need it to clean up this crap. All black folks need to beat back this idiot ghetto culture.

*******
Article:  Hip-Hop’s Betrayal of Black Women

By Jennifer McLune  - Article Link

Kevin Powell in Notes of a HipHop Head writes, “Indeed, like rock and roll, hip-hop sometimes makes you think we men don’t like women much at all, except to objectify them as trophy pieces or, as contemporary vernacular mandates, as baby mommas, chickenheads, or bitches.

“But just as it was unfair to demonize men of color in the 1960s solely as wild-eyed radicals when what they wanted, amidst their fury, was a little freedom and a little power, today it is wrong to categorically dismiss hip-hop without taking into serious consideration the socioeconomic conditions (and the many record labels that eagerly exploit and benefit from the ignorance of many of these young artists) that have led to the current state of affairs. Or, to paraphrase the late Tupac Shakur, we were given this world, we did not make it.”

Powell’s “socio-economic” explanation for the sexism in hip-hop is a way to silence feminist critiques of the culture. It is to make an understanding of the misogynistic objectification of black women in hip-hop so elusive that we can’t grasp it long enough to wring the neck of its power over us. His argument completely ignores the fact that women, too, are raised in this environment of poverty and violence, but have yet to produce the same negative and hateful representation of black men that male rappers are capable of making against women.

Powell’s understanding also lends itself to elitist assumption that somehow poverty breeds sexism, or at least should excuse it. Yet we all know that wealthy white boys can create the same hateful and violent music as poor black boys. As long as the boys can agree that their common enemy is female and that their power resides in their penis, women must not hesitate to name the war they have declared on us.

Hip-hop owes its success to the ideology of woman-hating. It creates, perpetuates, and reaps the rewards of objectification. Sexism and homophobia saturate hip-hop culture and any deviation from these forms of bigotry is made marginal to its most dominant and lucrative expressions. Few artists dare to embody equality and respect between the sexes through their music. Those who do have to fight to be heard above the dominant chorus of misogyny.

The most well known artists who represent an underground and conscious force in hip-hop—like Common, The Roots, Talib Kweli, and others—remain inconsistent, apologetic, and even eager to join the mainstream player’s club. Even though fans like me support them because of their moments of decency toward women, they often want to remain on the fence by either playing down their consciousness or by offering props to misogynistic rappers. Most socalled conscious artists appear to care more about their own acceptance by mainstream artists than wanting to make positive changes in the culture.

The most honest, ethical, and open Congress in history indeed!

Friday, February 16th, 2007

Found on thefreezer.jpg blog: Political Pit Bull, this is amazing, but I am not surprised.

After being videotaped accepting a $100,000 cash bribe by the FBI and busted with $90,000 worth of loot in his freezer, Democratic Congressman William Jefferson–currently facing an ongoing federal corruption probe–is being awarded a seat on the House Homeland Security Committee.

The appointment will be announced Friday, according to one aide who requested anonymity because the decision isn’t yet official.

[…]

Other lawmakers were angling for the seat on Homeland Security, which was the last slot available on the panel, according to another Democratic aide.

The committee oversees the Homeland Security Department and its web of agencies designed to protect against terrorism on U.S. soil.

The committee has oversight of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, which was widely panned for its response to Hurricane Katrina in Jefferson’s hometown of New Orleans.

As a member of the committee, Jefferson will not have direct oversight of the FBI or the Justice Department.

A former Jefferson aide has already pleaded guilty to corruption in the ongoing investigation, as has a businessman who alleged in his plea agreement that he bribed Jefferson in order to win contracts with African nations.

The most honest, ethical, and open Congress in history indeed!

Update: Congressional Quarterly has confirmed Paul Kane’s scoop linked above.

Snow steps back from Jackson’s race opinion

Friday, January 5th, 2007

I LOVE THIS GUY HE SOUNDS LIKE ME!

J1.jpgHUD chief said ‘white folks have nothing to do with blacks in prison’

From WorldNetDaily

There’s no comment from the president’s spokesman about a statement from Alphonso Jackson, the secretary of Housing and Urban Development, about “white folks” having little to do with the poverty levels for blacks. But he did say the president believes families and family ties are significant.

Presidential spokesman Tony Snow was responding to a question from Les Kinsolving, WND’s correspondent at the White House, about the recent comment from Jackson.

“There’s a news report quoting the Secretary of HUD, Jackson, as saying that ‘Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Julian Bond have created an industry. If we don’t become victims, they have no income. White folks have nothing to do with the fact that seven out of every 10 black children born in this country are born out of wedlock and we have more black males in prison than we do in college.’ And my question: Does the president disagree with this statement by his Secretary of HUD?” he asked.

The quick answer from Snow was, “Don’t know.”

But he said the president does consider the issue important.

“One of the things he did talk about is the importance of building within all Americans a system where you have fewer out-of-wedlock births, because the research is pretty clear that when you do have intact households you have better results and fewer problems in the long run with children; that everybody deserves access to a first-rate school; that there should not be schools – public schools should be of high quality, no matter how much your parents may earn; and that the most important way to dignity is through work,” Snow said.

And that, he added, “is an attitude that has been shared by Democratic and Republican administrations.”

There are reports Jackson is known for blunt expressions of his opinions.

He was in Texas for a conference and had met with a contractor who had been trying to work with HUD for years and made “a heck of a proposal.”

“He came to see me and thank me for selecting him. Then he said something …. he said, ‘I have a problem with your president.’ I said, ‘What do you mean?’ He said, ‘I don’t like President Bush.’ I thought to myself, ‘Brother, you have a disconnect – the president is elected, I was selected. You wouldn’t be getting the contract unless I was sitting here. If you have a problem with the president, don’t tell the secretary,” he said.

At the time, Jackson reported the man didn’t get the contract. “Why should I reward someone who doesn’t like the president, so they can use funds to try to campaign against the president? Logic says they don’t get the contract. That’s the way I believe,” he said.

In another interview, he criticized those who have led New Orleans over the years.

He was being interviewed about repairs and replacements for the thousands of homes damaged or lost in Hurricane Katrina, and said it could be rebuilt better than it was.

“I had a chance to go to the Lower Eighth and Ninth before the flood, and they were not livable conditions. It disturbs me tremendously when people want to say racism played a part in this. As I reminded the Rev. Jesse Jackson and [NAACP President] Bruce Gordon, for 31 years we’ve had a Black mayor in New Orleans; for 25 years we’ve had a predominately Black city council in New Orleans, and the quality of life did not change for Black people living in the Lower Eighth and Lower Ninth. … I remember when I went to New Orleans to campaign for [Ernest] ‘Dutch’ Morial – [the city’s first Black mayor] – one of the things he ran on was that he was going to change the quality of life in the Lower Ninth. Well, we’ve had five Black mayors, and the quality of life has only gotten worse…” he said.

Jackson was confirmed by the Senate in 2004 and runs the $32 billion government agency. Previously he was president of American Electric Power-TEXAS, near Austin, and then president of the Housing Authority in Dallas.

Democrat Party plantation

Wednesday, October 25th, 2006

democratlogo1a.JPGThis is a 2005 article by Alicia Colon originally published in the The New York Sun contrasting Rep. Charles Rangel with Herman Cain, two influential African American leaders, one still lives on the “Democratic plantation,” and works every day to keep others enslaved there, while the other has risen to become a star in the conservative movement and tirelessly works to free people from the chains of the Democratic plantation.

Why do I post this old article, because it’s tis still relevant, and remember Charles Rangel if the Democrats take control would be Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.
You people have short memories so I’ll remind you:

Has opposed major income-tax cuts ever since he was elected in 1970. Voted against the historic Reagan tax cut of 1981. Voted against each of President George W. Bush’s tax cuts. Meanwhile, he voted for President Clinton’s record-setting tax increase in 1993. If Rangel becomes chairman, he is certain to preside over new tax increases — at a minimum allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire without being renewed.

Rangel is a one of the oldest Democrat Party plantation poverty pimps in the House.

Graduating From ‘Stupid Anonymous’

ALICIA COLON

Two years ago, I attended an AARP women’s luncheon at the famed 21 Club restaurant. The wife of Rep. Charles Rangel, Alma Rangel, also attended, and one of the organizers offered me the opportunity of an introduction. I declined as politely as possible, fearing I might inadvertently blurt out to her, “Oh, you poor dear. You have my deepest sympathy.”

At the time, Mr. Rangel had been making comments that defied comprehension and I had been so shocked at his injudicious remarks about our military that I wrote a column about it. In a television interview, he more or less accused our soldiers of deliberately killing innocent Iraqi women and children. In another interview, with radio host Steve Malzberg, he called the Iraq war “the biggest fraud ever committed on the people of this country. … This is just as bad as the 6 million Jews being killed.”

Apparently emboldened by the fact that his outrageous remarks outraged only conservatives, Mr. Rangel has now demonstrated that when it comes to smearing the president, he has carte blanche with members of his party. At a town hall meeting of the Congressional Black Caucus, Mr. Rangel said to the cheering crowd, “George Bush is our Bull Connor.” Local black community leaders (I use that term very loosely) like the Reverend Al Sharpton, Rep. Major Owens, and Council Member Charles Barron not only supported Mr. Rangel, they went even further. Mr. Owens said President Bush was even more diabolical than Connor. Mr. Barron added, “To be a racist in the richest, most powerful country in the world is lethal. Look what he’s doing to communities of color all over the world. He’s a lethal racist.”

Mr. Rangel was referring, of course, to the infamous Alabama police official who turned hoses and police attack dogs against innocent, unarmed, nonviolent civil rights protesters. What Mr. Rangel and his fellow Democrats have not pointed out, of course, is that Connor was a Democrat, as were George Wallace and Lester Maddox. In fact, the 1964 Civil Rights Act needed the support of Republicans to get through the legislature because the Southern Democrats were vehemently opposed to it.

Mr. Rangel and many in his party are part of the black leadership that has long taken the black community for granted, and that’s probably what inspired the title of Herman Cain’s book, “They Think You’re Stupid.”

Mr. Cain is a Southern man, born in Georgia, who probably has a better understanding of the Bull Connors of the world than the Harlem native Mr. Rangel. Mr. Cain was in New York recently on a book tour promoting what has to be the definitive book on where the black community stands in the eyes of both parties. Mr. Cain refers to many in that community as the politically homeless.

He charges that the Democratic Party is losing voters because its usual rhetoric has been exposed as empty. Republicans can’t get these voters because its rhetoric doesn’t resonate with many of them. Voters, Mr. Cain says, are hungry for common sense, a sense of urgency, and real leadership.

He is a rarity in politics, a black Republican, but that description does not connote any allegiance to a political party.

I contacted Mr. Cain to get his reaction to Mr. Rangel’s remarks. He said, “Rangel’s comment is another perfect example of how prominent Democrats think their constituency is stupid, in an attempt to keep them on the Democratic plantation. The comparison is ridiculous and an insult to anyone who thinks for themselves.”

In the introduction to his book, Mr. Cain writes, “My name is Herman Cain and I used to be stupid. This is because I did not know the history of the Democratic Party, nor did I know the history of the Republican Party. Like millions of voters, I used to make my voting decisions based on news, sound bites, political labels, distortions, misinformation, and sometimes no information at all. … I am now a graduate of ‘Stupid Anonymous’ and want to share my awakening with others.”

How I wish that Mr. Cain were a New Yorker. Perhaps he could awaken the black voters who continually vote for representatives like Messrs. Rangel, Owens, and Barron. These are politicians who always resort to interjecting race into issues rather than offering real solutions. Because the most powerful black man and woman in American history are not Democrats, Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice are regularly denigrated as race sellouts. That the black community in New York hasn’t recognized the absurdity of that calumny means that some are just plain “stuck on stupid.”

NBC’s Williams Showcases Left-Winger on Katrina/Race: Bushes ‘Clueless Patricians’

Tuesday, August 29th, 2006

katrina12.jpgI only watched a portion of this but if Dyson is the only credible Nigga that can come on and speak about Katrina and the issues of race then we are in fucken trouble.
Dyson makes me sick, for some odd reason is he now the designated Nigga that gets tapped to be interviewed and appear on the news and talk shows because he is seen as this intellectual and insightful brotha that will show compassion for those poor negro souls.
All of these other right wing sellout Negros who are beating up on these people in their time of need is just wrong.
Dyson can kiss my black ass and if Williams thinks he can get away with narrowing the focus of opinion on Katrina then fuck him too.
Like I said in my post last week, if the Gubment failed those people then selfish ass Niggas did too. I know niggas were watching those “horrible” images saying “glad it ain’t me down there, those niggas should have got their black asses out”
Bringing out the race card on this issue is stupid and a year later the media is still asking those questions, I am frankly shocked that more white people have not spoken louder and rejected this racism notion more vehemently.
More money has been raised for Katrina victims than any other disaster in American history, hundreds of billions of dollars, when frankly not one fucken dime should have been sent down there because of all of the ineptness and corrupt culture in Louisiana.
That money will certainly disappear into the hands of some corrupt Louisiana public officials.
Let’s also not forget that those crazy bastards voted that ignorant mayor back in office to oversee the rebuilding NOLA. The same fuck that could not manage the disaster is supposed to coordinate the rebirth of NOLA, classic.
Oh, Spike’s documentary did not mention the fact that Nigga Nagin spent a lot of his time in Dallas during the disaster, confused, clueless and cowering. That little tidbit still escapes people who examine who is at fault.
Let me stop ranting, I’m just sick of the media race bating and politicizing the issue for ratings, I’m sick of people like Dyson pimping his liberal bullshit and reporters like Williams allowing it, I’m just sick of this Katrina bullshit.
If that had happened in the Midwest the media would not be giving all of this attention to this issue. It’s just another case of white liberals using Niggas to make their case, pretending like they give a shit when they don’t.

THE STORYkatrinatoon1.gif

Looking back at Katrina a year later, NBC’s Brian Williams decided to raise the issue of race and to showcase as his sole expert, on both Monday’s NBC Nightly News and a prime time special, left-wing professor Michael Eric Dyson, author of Come Hell or High Water: Hurricane Katrina and the Color of Disaster. Williams, from New Orleans, set up his Nightly News segment by arguing the disaster “destroyed” a lot and “it exposed a lot, too, including, some say, the dicey issues of race and class in our country.” Dyson, a regular on Bill Maher’s HBO show and a professor at the University of Pennsylvania, declared: “The people in New Orleans were left behind long before the vicious winds and violent waters of Hurricane Katrina came along to wash them away.”

Williams asked: “What was your reaction when Barbara Bush said they’re really better off?” Dyson retorted: “Yeah, I’m a Christian minister man, so I always try to give love as the first response. But I’ll tell you, when Barbara Bush said that, it reinforced the reputation of the Bushes as clueless patricians, number one. Number two, inadvertently, let’s be honest, she was right at a certain level…” Williams followed up: “Were they robbed of their dignity by the government?” (Transcript follows)

dyson1.jpgSetting up another taped segment with Dyson which aired during an 8pm EDT prime time special hosted by Williams, Katrina: The Long Road Back, Williams re-played a clip of his December 12, 2005 session with President Bush, aboard Air Force One, for NBC Nightly News:

“After the tragedy, I heard someone ask rhetorically, ‘What if this had been Nantucket, Massachusetts, or Inner Harbor Baltimore or Chicago or Houston?’ Are you convinced the response would have been the same? Was there any social or class or race aspect to the response?”

Bush replied in the answer shown in December and again on Monday night:

“Somebody I heard — you know, a couple of people you know said, ‘Bush didn’t respond because of race, because he’s a racist’ or alleged that. That is absolutely wrong. And I reject that. Frankly, that’s the kind of thing that — you can call me anything you want — but do not call me a racist.”

Nigga Nagin cites racism, what a shock!

Friday, August 18th, 2006

I have said this before, I will say it again, I would not send one fucken federal dollar down to New Orleans. If those idiot negros were so stupid as to vote for a racist, ignorant bastard who abandoned the city during a major crisis I would not trust him with my tax dollars.
The entire goddamm state is made up of a bunch of idiot crooks.
We don’t need to rebuild NOLA. But nobody has the guts to say it because it’s not politically correct.
It does not have shit to do with racism. NOLA was a corrupt, murder mecca and Ray Nagin proved during a major crisis that he is a fucking bumbling idiot.
Anybody with half a brain would invest in the Mississippi gulf coast instead of NOLA.
If they keep the population down and the crackheads out and limit idiot Nagin’s chocolate city image then maybe investing in NOLA might make sense.

Nagin1.jpgNew Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin on Friday blamed racism and government bureaucracy for hamstringing his city’s ability to weather Hurricane Katrina and recover from the disaster that struck the Gulf Coast nearly a year ago.
In remarks to the annual meeting of the National Association of Black Journalists, Nagin said the hurricane “exposed the soft underbelly of America as it relates to dealing with race and class.”
“And I, to this day, believe that if that would have happened in Orange County, California, if that would have happened in South Beach, Miami, it would have been a different response,” Nagin said.
New Orleans was 60 percent black before Katrina struck Aug. 29. Early this year the mayor called on fellow blacks to again make New Orleans a “chocolate” city, but he later apologized.
On Friday, Nagin condemned federal regulations that discourage rebuilding in the largely black and low-lying Ninth Ward.
While tens of billions of dollars in federal aid have flowed to Louisiana and other states devastated by Katrina, much of it has gone to developers and contractors, Nagin said.
“Very little of those dollars have gotten to the local governments or to the people themselves,” Nagin said.
Katrina dispersed three-quarters of New Orleans’ pre-hurricane population of about 460,000 people, and today it’s a city of about 250,000. Nagin suggested that Louisiana and federal officials would prefer the city remain smaller.
He said the city is struggling to deliver services and rebuild with a quarter of its former municipal budget. The federal and state aid the city has received is inadequate and comes with too many rules, he said.
“We are being strangled, and they’re using the money to set local policies to try to take control of the city to do things that they had in mind all along, and that’s to shrink the footprint, get a bunch of developers in the city, and try to do things in a different way,” Nagin said.
“We’re not going to let that happen. They’re going to give us our money, and we’re going to rebuild this city.”

Young Blacks and Churches Trotted Out by Dems for Wage Increase

 Democrat Poverty Pimps strike again!

By Amanda B. Carpenter - Human Events

To drive home his point about the need to increase the minimum wage Sen. Dick Durbin (D.-Ill.) gave a named minimumwage1.jpgminimum wage worker named Janelle Williams his microphone at a press conference with Sen. Teddy Kennedy, Sen. Chuck Schumer and Sen. Hillary Clinton this morning. Janelle is a young, black overweight mother from Baltimore, Maryland, a state where the minimum wage was raised a dollar to $6.15 earlier this year. She said, “It’s [the minimum wage] been raised, but it’s still not enough. We need a little bit more.” Williams, who had worked at Burger King and other low-paying jobs railed, “I am totally against the tax cuts and tax write offs for wealthier people who don’t work as nearly as hard as I do…I vote yes for raising the minimum wage and uplifting my community and all other communities like mine, but I definitely vote no for giving people more than what they deserve.”

As she left the podium the senators clapped approvingly and Hillary, who came to the conference late and left early, embraced Williams. Kennedy repeated his well-rehearsed line, after many press conferences on raising the minimum wage on Capitol Hill that, the issue was of particular interested to women, children and black Americans. “Because women are the majority of those that receive the minimum wage. Those women have children; it’s a children’s issue, a women’s issue. It’s a family issue. It’s a family value issue. It’s a civil rights issue, because the men and women that are behind us today are men and women of color.” Hillary was eager to make it an issue of faith as well. Wearing an ornate gold cross on hanging from a heavy, red sparkling necklace, she presented Sister Simone Campbell, the national coordinator of NETWORK, a Catholic social justice foundation. Sister minimumwage2.JPGSamone said, “I’m here today to give a faith voice because it is about politics, but it is also about the soul of our country.” She pleaded Congress to reject the minumum wage bill facing the Senate because, “as a person of faith, I find abhorrent because the fact is that by cutting revenues, we’re going to have to cut — the Republicans will say that we’ll have to cut programs; the programs that service these very people who live at the margins and do the most menial work.” Clinton, who has been repeatedly criticized for being “angry,” said that she had “run out of patience” trying to increase minimum wage. “You know, if you work 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year, you’ll bring home about $10,700. And that’s below the poverty line,” she said. “In the comparable time since it’s been that we last saw a minimum wage increase, Congress has raised its salary by nearly three times that amount. And that’s on top of an already generous salary, far above what most Americans make.” Clinton has worked with Kennedy to introduce legislation to tie an increase to the minimum wage to congressional pay raises. Her bill does not retract money from the Presidential pay raise her husband former President Bill Clinton authorized in 1999. He doubled Presidential salaries from $200,000 to $400,000 per year.

cosby1.jpgLiberals are good at giving out table scraps. Poverty pimping is a liberal phenomena
But they refuse to acknowledge the reason why people are working minimum wage jobs is because they fucked around in school, or they fucked around.
Oh but who gives a shit, lets just pay all those fast food workers $20 per hour, maybe they can get my orders right, or give it to me white it’s hot or stop giving me those big white bitter hunks of lettuce on my burger that I hate, or slopping on the mayo and ketchup making my burger soggy or maybe Taco Bell employees will stop forgetting to put hot sauce in my order, or completely fucking up my order, or maybe Burger King will stop making those nasty ass fries, or Wendy’s will stop fucken asking me if I want to super size! Will a minimum wage increase help that shit, I doubt it.
