They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American presidency. Over the weekend, I noted the scurrilous claim of a left-wing blogger who “reported” the hearsay rumor that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin called Obama a “Sambo” and Hillary Clinton a “bitch.”
Even the nutballs at the Daily Kos deleted a posting about the smear.
Two members of Barack of Obama’s campaign, Dick and Sharon Price, created a post today on their “LA Progressive” blog that accuses Sarah Palin of using the name Sambo to describe Barack Obama.
Aside from the fact that this constitutes slander, for there is absolutely no evidence - sources, etc, there is more to the story about “Dick and Sharon”. First, their blog only came into being on 10 March 2008 according to whois records.
This is about the time that several satellite Pro-Obama blogs began to appear around the internet, several of which were found to be funded by the Obama campaign. Most likely this rag is funded by the Obama campaign as well.
Secondly, according to sources they are bona-fide Democrat political operatives that are known for planting such slanderous stories about opposition candidate going back for a while now.
The source called them “assassins”.
The fact that the story wasn’t designed to do anything but get the story into Google search engines tells you much of the type of characters these two are - bottom feeders and just what kind of people support Barack Obama.

Obama raps Palin on Alaska earmarks and her claims of ‘change’
On Saturday, Barack Obama mocked John McCain’s running mate for aggressively seeking earmarks in Alaska and campaigning nationally as anti-pork. “I mean, words mean something,” Obama said. “You can’t just make stuff up.”
The one where she urges them to pray that when it comes to Iraq “there is a plan and that that plan is God’s plan.”
The same one in which she tells them to pray for a gas pipeline, saying “I think God’s will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that.”
Well, it turns out she used state funds to cover her travel expenses there — a total of $639.50.

PAUL — Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin ridiculed Barack Obama’s experience as a community organizer twice in her address to her party’s national convention. “Before I became governor of the great state of Alaska, I was mayor of my hometown,” the former local official sneered. “And since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involved. I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a community organizer, except that you have actual responsibilities.”
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani piled on with his own mockery of the Democratic presidential candidate’s work with laid-off steelworkers on the south side of Chicago. “You have a resume from a gifted man with an Ivy League education. He worked as a community organizer,” Giuliani joked. “Okay. Maybe this is the first problem on the resume. He worked as a community organizer.”
What does the senator say?
Speaking of the Republican convention speakers, a clearly riled Obama said, “They haven’t talked about the fact that I was a civil rights lawyer; they haven’t talked about the fact that I taught constitutional law; they haven’t talked about my work in the state legislature, in the United States Senate. They’re talking about the three years of work that I did right out of college as if… I’m making the leap from two or three years out of college into the presidency.”
The reason that Republicans are focusing on Obama’s “community organizing” is the fact that Obama is focusing on it. He doesn’t say much about his time as a law professor, probably because his work during that time was so relentlessly mediocre that he’s ashamed to draw attention to it. As for his work in a civil rights law firm people hear that and they get images of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, Tawana Brawley and Yankel Rosenbaum. Obama knows that stuff helped him win the primary where the people he had to impress were the Democrat party’s moonbat fringe but he also knows that he can’t dwell on that if he wants to win a national election.

“Half of her staff really wants Sarah Palin on,” an insider explains. “Oprah’s website is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama.”
One executive close to Winfrey is warning any Palin ban could ignite a dramatic backlash!
It is not clear if Oprah has softened her position after watching Palin’s historic convention speech.

Rudy Giuliani had me in stitches during his red-meat keynote address at the GOP convention. I laughed out loud when Giuliani laughed out loud while noting Barack Obama’s deep experience as a “community organizer.” I laughed again when VP nominee and Alaska Gov. Team Obama was not amused. (Neither were the snarky left-wingers on cable TV who are now allergic to sarcasm.) They don’t get why we snicker when Obama dons his Community Organizer cape. Apparently, the jibes rendered Obama’s advisers sleepless. In a crack-of-dawn e-mail to Obama’s followers hours after Giuliani and Palin spoke, campaign manager David Plouffe attempted to gin up faux outrage (and, more importantly, donations) by claiming grave offense on the part of community organizers everywhere. Fumed Plouffe:
“Both Rudy Giuliani and Sarah Palin specifically mocked Barack’s experience as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago more than two decades ago, where he worked with people who had lost jobs and been left behind when the local steel plants closed. Let’s clarify something for them right now. Community organizing is how ordinary people respond to out-of-touch politicians and their failed policies.”
Let me clarify something. Nobody is mocking community organizers in church basements and community centers across the country working to improve their neighbors’ lives. What deserves ridicule is the notion that Obama’s brief stint as a South Side rabble-rouser for tax-subsidized, partisan nonprofits qualifies as executive experience you can believe in.
What deserves derision is “community organizing” that relies on a community of homeless people and ex-cons to organize for the purpose of registering dead people to vote, shaking down corporations and using the race card as a bludgeon.

When lifelong Republican Barney Smith told the Democratic convention that he’d vote for Barack Obama for president, he gave pause to even the most conservative members of his party.
Smith, like many disgruntled working-class Republicans, is ready to turn his back on his party because he’s having such a hard time providing for his family. Like others, Smith fell victim to the loss of 3.2 million American jobs as factories closed or their work was outsourced to cheap labor markets overseas.
Poet Langston Hughes once wrote, “Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, Life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly, Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams go, life is a barren field, frozen with snow.”
Many wealthy folks live in a dream state and ignore people like Smith, whose tale of personal woe preceded Obama’s acceptance speech.
He opposes John McCain because, he says, America can’t afford another four years of failed GOP policies that have extended $200 billion in tax cuts to big corporations but not to the nation’s 100 million families.
Our national debt has soared from $5.6 trillion to $9.6 trillion under Bush. The Republicans have overstayed their welcome and dragged us into a nightmare that must end soon, or this nation may be headed for chaos.

I read some stuff that old guard civil rights black folks were not happy with Obama’s speech the other night because he wanted to avoid being the “black” presidential candidate. Take a look Dr. Cornell West and Julianne Malveaux on the Tavis Smiley show.
Now just in case black folks happen to accidentally find my blog and read this post let me peep you new folks to some reality. You regular Poop readers can skip this, cause y’all are informed. But, you Negroes lean towards the computer screen so y’all can feel my words jump of the screen.
For anyone who does not know who George Soros is, and what he stands for, do yourself a HUGE favor and do some research. This man Soros is a self-hating Jew megalomaniac who wants America to become just like Europe – in fact, he wants us to be ruled by the rest of the world. That will make it easier for him to rake off even more profits. And these are the deep pockets that has (for a long time) funded Barack and his rise to fame.
For all of you ignorant ass black folks who think Obama is some sort of “savior” and some pending champion for so called Negro issues, you people are just simply delusional and off the charts ignorant.
Obama is not allowed to spit out any syllables unless and until Soros and his rich white posse of socialist homeboys have briefed him on what to say about damm near anything.

However Obama is way beyond y’alls comprehension. You think he is “one of you” simply because his daddy was Black. But in reality, he is as immersed in and has been co-opted by the white political power structure in ways that you cannot possibly ever get.
If Obama is to ascend to the heights of the presidency he must throw his blackness out the window, and that especially includes any perceived Negro kinship that might alienate the liberal white power structure.
I understand that Obama is seen by black folks as this self esteem raising example for Negros everywhere, old civil rights folks glowingly talk about how this is so “historic” and incredible (my crazy father is about to lose his mind; note – he is the only member of my black family that will be voting for him). Never mind that we have countless examples of black achievement in this nation that have nothing to do with politics.
But hey if, Obama is your self described psychological pigment sharing medicine that gives you “hope” then shit vote for the dude. But you better hit the reality button real damm quick and know that Obama will continue to distance himself from his Negro-ness mostly because (other than your votes you will give him in November) you can’t do anything for him.
Why be bogged down in Negro bullshit when you have a much more important task of keeping those high dollar powerful white socialist cronies happy?
Jon Meacham writes in Newsweek that Obama’s mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, was “a strong voice for racial justice” and political activist whose “writings on civil-rights and labor issues” had “prompted a McCarthyite denunciation by the House Un-American Activities Committee.” Meacham is suggesting that Davis was the target of false allegations that he was a communist.
While he agrees that Davis was one of Obama’s mentors, Meacham’s handling of the communism angle is about as dishonest as it gets.
But at least the name of Frank Marshall Davis is finally getting into print in the mainstream media. It has taken months to get the truth out.
In the first place, as Meacham surely knows, Joseph McCarthy was a senator, not a congressman. The House committee had nothing to do with McCarthy. Second, Davis was identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA), controlled and subsidized by the Soviet Communist Party and the KGB. As late as 1956, when he was called before the Senate Internal Security Subcommittee, Davis was still refusing to deny that he was a communist.
Wouldn’t it be helpful if Meacham, the editor of Newsweek, would make an elementary effort to get the facts right? But that is too much to ask when the presidency is at stake and the media-backed candidate is trying to cover up his controversial background.
Obama’s Homie: Bill Ayers: Unrepentant LYING Terrorist

In that Fox interview that Rich linked to, Ayers preposterously claimed that he and his fellow Weather Underground terrorists did not really intend to harm any people — the fact that no one was killed in their 20 or so bombings was, he said, “by design”; they only wanted to cause property damage:
Between October 1969 and September 1973, the Weather Underground claimed credit for some twenty bombings across the country, in which no one was harmed — save the three cell members who perished in a Greenwich Village townhouse in March 1970, when one of their creations detonated prematurely. Ayers claimed the fact that no other individuals were killed as a result of the Weathermen’s actions was “by design.”
In his autobiography, Fugitive Days: A Memoir, Ayers recalled, he posed the question: “How far are you willing to take that step into what I consider the abyss of violence? And we really never did, except for that moment in the townhouse.… I actually think destroying property in the face of that kind of catastrophe is so — restrained. And I don’t see it as a big deal.
Right.
First of all, “that moment in the townhouse” he’s talking about happened in 1970. Three of his confederates, including his then girlfriend Diana Oughton, were accidentally killed when the explosive they were building to Ayers specifications (Ayers was a bomb designer) went off during construction. As noted in Ayers’ Discover the Networks profile, the explosive had been a nail bomb. Back when Ayers was being more honest about his intentions, he admitted that the purpose of that bomb had been to murder United States soldiers:
That bomb had been intended for detonation at a dance that was to be attended by army soldiers at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Hundreds of lives could have been lost had the plan been successfully executed. Ayers attested that the bomb would have done serious damage, “tearing through windows and walls and, yes, people too.”

DENVER — Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign organized its supporters Wednesday night to confront Tribune-owned WGN-AM in Chicago for having a critic of the Illinois Democrat on its air.
“WGN radio is giving right-wing hatchet man Stanley Kurtz a forum to air his baseless, fear-mongering terrorist smears,” Obama’s campaign wrote in an e-mail to supporters. “He’s currently scheduled to spend a solid two-hour block from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. pushing lies, distortions, and manipulations about Barack and University of Illinois professor William Ayers.”
Kurtz, a conservative writer, recently wrote an article for the National Review that looked at Obama’s ties to Ayers, a former 1960s radical.
The magazine had been blocked in its initial attempts to obtain records from the University of Illinois at Chicago regarding the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, which Obama chaired and Ayers co-founded. The school later reserved its position and made the records available Tuesday.
Obama’s campaign urged supporters to call the radio station to complain.
“Tell WGN that by providing Kurtz with airtime, they are legitimizing baseless attacks from a smear-merchant and lowering the standards of political discourse,” the note said.
“It is absolutely unacceptable that WGN would give a slimy character assassin like Kurtz time for his divisive, destructive ranting on our public airwaves,” the note continued. “At the very least, they should offer sane, honest rebuttal to every one of Kurtz’s lies.”
Zack Christenson, executive producer of “Extension 720 with Milt Rosenburg,” said the response was strong.
“I would say this is the biggest response we’ve ever got from a campaign or a candidate,” he said. “This is really unprecedented with the show, the way that people are flooding the calls and our email boxes.”
Christenson said the Obama campaign was asked to have someone appear on the show and declined the request.
“He got into the files just yesterday, so we wanted to have him on to find out what he found. And, if at all possible, we wanted to get the Obama campaign, to get their side of the story,” Christenson said. “That’s why the uproar is kind of amazing, because we wanted the Obama campaign’s take as well.”
The show’s producer said the calls dropped off after the show’s first hour. He did not have a count of calls, but said it was “non-stop.”
Obama’s campaign has launched similar offensives against stations that have run campaign ads that it did not like.

Obama only says that he had “some modest notoriety once,” was “a contemporary of Richard Wright and Langston Hughes during his years in Chicago…” but was now “pushing eighty.” He writes about “Frank and his old Black Power dashiki self” giving him advice before he left for Occidental College in 1979 at the age of 18.
This “Frank” is none other than Frank Marshall Davis, the black communist writer now considered by some to be in the same category of prominence as Maya Angelou and Alice Walker. In the summer/fall 2003 issue of African American Review, James A. Miller of George Washington University reviews a book by John Edgar Tidwell, a professor at the University of Kansas, about Davis’s career, and notes, “In Davis’s case, his political commitments led him to join the American Communist Party during the middle of World War II-even though he never publicly admitted his Party membership.” Tidwell is an expert on the life and writings of Davis.
Is it possible that Obama did not know who Davis was when he wrote his book, Dreams From My Father, first published in 1995? That’s not plausible since Obama refers to him as a contemporary of Richard Wright and Langston Hughes and says he saw a book of his black poetry.

Thanks to the efforts of NRO’s Stanley Kurtz, blogger Steve Diamond, and intense pressure from Internet readers and talk radio listeners, the University of Illinois - Chicago was forced to release a trove of papers that a former official attempted to shield from public view. There are some 140 boxes and 1,000 files to sift through — and MSM outlets have barely scratched the surface. Kurtz is in Chicago to review the documents and will report tonight on his findings for two hours on Chicago station WGN’s Milt Rosenberg Show. In the interview, conducted three years after the September 11 attacks, Ayers argued the U.S. government had carried out “many other acts of terror … even recently, that are comparable,” and claimed he and his bomb-planting comrades were “restrained” in their actions.
Ayers, now a professor at the University of Illinois, Chicago, served with Barack Obama on the board of the charitable Woods Fund of Chicago for three years and helped launch Obama’s political career in Illinois by hosting in his Hyde Park home an informal campaign event for the future state senator in 1995.
Ayers claimed the Weathermen were driven by “hope and love,” not despair, and said he did not think the group’s violent acts, targeting federal officials and local law enforcement officers, were “a big deal.”

William Ayres On His Time in the Weather Underground
Racial infighting among Democrats, which marred the presidential primaries, has flared up again at the party’s convention in Denver, where a black Hillary Clinton delegate is accusing a black Barack Obama delegate of calling her an “Uncle Tom.”
Delmarie Cobb of Chicago told FOX News Monday that Illinois Senate President Emil Jones, whom Obama called his “political godfather,” hurled the racially charged insult against her late Saturday for speaking out in support of Clinton. Although Democrats at the convention are trying to project an image of unity, there is lingering bitterness between the Clinton and Obama camps, in part because each side accused the other of playing the race card during the primaries.
On Monday, Illinois’ National Organization for Women President Bonnie Grabenhofer reportedly called on Jones to resign immediately from the Illinois state Senate for using the racial slur.
“That was a pretty horrible comment,” Grabenhofer, also a Clinton delegate, told The Sun-Times.
Cobb said Jones called her “Uncle Tom” in front of a group of Chicago aldermen in a hotel lobby after the two began a playful conversation that turned edgy as Cobb accused Jones of gloating over Obama’s victory. Jones then insinuated that Clintons played “gutter politics,” according to Cobb, who ended the conversation by announcing it was “time for me to go.”
“I walked away and said good night and walked over across the hall to the elevators,” she recalled. “And he shouted across the lobby, ‘Uncle Tom!’
“And I came back over and said, ‘Excuse me, what did you just say?’ And he grabbed me by my arms and started laughing. And I said, ‘No, no. What did you just say?’ And he didn’t repeat it. And I said, ‘Did you call me an Uncle Tom?’ And then I came back with a barrage of things that I won’t repeat publicly.”
The epithet comes from the title character of Harriet Beecher Stowe’s 19th century anti-slavery novel “Uncle Tom’s Cabin,” and typically it is construed as an insult meaning a black person who acts passively or submissively toward whites.
Initially, Jones denied calling Cobb an “Uncle Tom” and refused to elaborate. However, he is now telling reporters that he called her a “doubting Thomas” and that Cobb must have misheard the remark.
“She was spouting things about Barack,” Jones said. “What I said was, ‘Come on board, he’s a nice, clean cut guy and everything.’ I said, ‘We’ve got to stop all this. We’ve got too many doubting Thomases and we’ve got to get together.’
“And she was walking away and therefore she heard the last part of the word; she didn’t hear the whole part,” Jones added. “I cannot apologize for one misinterpreting what I said.”
Cobb questioned why the “doubting Thomas” explanation never came up when she first confronted Jones and he refused to repeat his remark.
“If he had said ‘doubting Thomas,’ he should have said it right then and there, said, ‘No, I did not say Uncle Tom, I said doubting Thomas.’ And it would have been over with,” Cobb said.
The Chicago Sun-Times quoted several aldermen who witnessed the exchange and confirmed that Jones called Cobb an “Uncle Tom.”
“I am firm in my convictions,” Cobb told FOX News. “Supporting Hillary Clinton is not a litmus test for being black.”
The Obama campaign is giving a glimpse of the future for conservative free speech. They’re trying to sic the Justice Department on TV stations, many of them Sinclair Broadcasting stations, that are airing the independent ad on Obama and Bill Ayers.
Barack Obama is striking back fiercely and swiftly to stamp out an ad that links him to a 1960s radical, eager to demonstrate a far more aggressive response to attacks than John Kerry did when faced with the 2004 “Swift Boat” campaign.
Obama not only aired a response ad to the spot linking him to William Ayers, but he sought to block stations the commercial by warning station managers and asking the Justice Department to intervene. The campaign also planned to compel advertisers to pressure stations that continue to air the anti-Obama commercial.
It’s the type of going-for-the-jugular approach to politics many Democrats complain that Kerry lacked and that Republicans exploit.
Obama’s target is an ad by the conservative American Issues Project, a nonprofit group that questions Obama’s ties to Ayers, a founder of the Weather Underground organization that took credit for a series of bombings, including nonfatal explosions at the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol four decades ago. ..
… Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor said Obama supporters have inundated stations that are airing the ad, many of them owned by Sinclair Communications, with 93,000 e-mails. He called the ad false, despicable and outrageous.
“Other stations that follow Sinclair’s lead should expect a similar response from people who don’t want the political discourse cheapened with these false, negative attacks,” Vietor said.
What with the Bush legacy of reckless war and economic mismanagement, 2008 is a year that favors the generic Democratic candidate over the generic Republican one. On August 21st in post about the Obama Campaign’s using McCain’s wealth against him, I referenced Barack Obama’s brother, George, who is living in a hut in Kenya and contrasted his treatment of his own flesh and blood with the McCains’ treatment of two sick baby girls from Bangladesh who were not their flesh and blood.
