SHOCKING! Black GOP Group Running Ads Calling Obama “Elitist”

Thursday, July 3rd, 2008

This is from Talking Points Memo.com

A group called the National Black Republican Association — which previously achieved minor infamy for some really inflammatory and historically-inaccurate radio ads in the Maryland Senate race (MD-SEN: GOP Group’s Ad Claims Dr. King Was A Republican)– has set a new goal: Turn African-American voters against Barack Obama.

The Huffington Post’s Sam Stein reports that the NBRA has unveiled a new set of radio ads that it plans to run in battleground states on black radio stations, but they haven’t yet clarified exactly when or how big their buy will be. The ads manage the neat trick of sliming both the Democratic Party as racist and Obama as elitist.

READ THE REST…if you care..

CRANKY SNOOP RANT WARNING…DON’T READ UNLESS YOU ARE 21 OR OLDER

I still find it amusing that there is actually a group proclaiming themselves to be “Black Republicans” as
if that is some sort of special designation.

Although I pay little attention to Negro groups of any kind, I find this slightly amusing.
I use to care whether or not Negros continued to blindly follow and vote for idiot fuck Democrats but now
I really don’t give a shit any more.

Negros won’t ever be Republicans because most old guard Republicans are a bunch of out of touch rednecks
anyway, plus the Republican Party is turning into a bunch spineless politically appeasing wimps the
result being John McCain.
Unless the Republican Party has someone like ME, advising old white guys on how to deal with Negro
peculiarities, Republican might just as well be from another planet.
Republicans today can’t even articulate their own views or direction for the country as they have
abandoned conservative principles anyway much less trying to convince Negros that they can indeed
politically walk and chew gun at the same fucken time.

Besides if Negros want to vote for race baiting, anti-American, tax and spend political hacks the
very people who will fuck them at ever turn let them suffer as a result.
Obama is now the new Negro savior never mind his past dealings with slumlords and other questionable
ilk, he will somehow “blacken” the White House.
Never mind that fact that he is likely not to have a single Negro as a major player in his administration.
I know one of his lead dudes, and have met a number of other Obama campaign staffers, NOT ONE IS BLACK!
Helloooooo is this thing on!
Except for his black mug at the top his administration will be the most pigment challenged in recent
memory. Oops, I forgot he will have a bunch of faux Mexicans with “American” sounding names heading up various shit.

Anywho Negros are a confused bunch anyway, first Bill Clinton was their faux Negro savior and now he is a pariah.
As we all know Negros are like the Borg, most process with the same cloudy collective mindset when
it comes to politics. Does this Negro Republican group actually believe that running a bunch of
stupid commercials is going to change the mindset of the Jet and Ebony, barber and beauty shop Negro clientele?

Since I no longer identify myself as a Republican the foolish and clownish mindset of a Negro
Republican groups amuses the hell out of me. This is no less silly than the Congressional Negro Liberal Caucus.

What exactly would I gain by identifying myself as a “Black Republican”?
Not a damm thing, unless I was like most folks who have this innate need to be part of some group
whether it’s the fucken Masons, VFW, some idiot sorority or fraternity or Republicans or Democrats.
A group of peoples only purpose in identifying themselves as a collective is for partying purposes
and patting each other on the back when needed.

If these “Black Republicans” were part of educational reforms, were working in black communities
mentoring kids, creating jobs, investing capital in inner cities, working with established
community organizations t better the lives of Negros everywhere that would go much further in
changing the mindset of black folks instead of making videos and radio spots working as attack
surrogates for white Republican plantation bosses to try and con Negros into switching party
affiliations and changing voting patters and I’m her to tell y’all it will NEVER happen unless
someone comes up with some political pixie dust to sprinkle on fried chicken or some clever
subliminal messages that would air on any BET shows or Judge Mathis.

Ah I got the rant monkey off my back for today! LOL!

A Warning to White America Video “we is gonna paint the white house black!”

Saturday, June 28th, 2008

I found this video on Not Another CONspiracy featuring Rev Manning. Although this dude tends to get a wee bit animated in his video sermons as he uses the bible to beat people over the head with his analysis his general message is pretty sound as it is in this clip.

Since I was very young I have always been confused at the mindset of Negros and how most have this “follow the leader” mentality in that most tend to speak with the same sociological, ideological and political voice. No other racial or ethnic group of folks does this.

White people should indeed heed his little warning, not that black folks will be rioting in the streets on inauguration day but a decidedly different attitude will reign amongst the Negro populace.

If you think Pastor Manning is just way off base just read this article about Spike Lee and his repeating the Nigga Nagin phrase of “Chocolate City.”

(LINK) Director Spike Lee said he’s getting his tickets to Barack Obama’s inauguration, and he believes it’ll ring in a “chocolate city.”

Although Election Day is still more than four months off, Lee told a film festival audience in Silver Spring, Md., last week that the Illinois senator will be going all the way, according to the Reuters news agency.

“It’s going to be before Obama, ‘B.B.,’ and after Obama — ‘A.B.’ — and some folks need to get used to this,” Lee said Thursday. “And I’m going to be at the inauguration — getting my hotel reservation now.”

In vouching for Obama, Lee also told the audience, “We need a real chocolate city.” Lee has endorsed Obama’s candidacy.

The words echoed remarks New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin’s made in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Nagin called for a more “chocolate” New Orleans, advocating the return displaced blacks back to the city.

Lee later explicitly endorsed Obama, as someone who would set the right course. “It’s not an if … he changes the world. He changes how the world looks at the United States,” Lee said.

It would be good for artists, too, who he said reflect the atmosphere around them. “It’s going to be a new day. Not just a new day, a better day.”

“the irony of voting for a candidate based on race to get beyond race.”

Monday, June 16th, 2008

ghetto5.jpg
Biscuit Head sent me a link to this crazy shit, but was unable to respond cause I was busy with the grandkids this weekend.
On Conservative Grapevine they had a link to the following post on a blog called Alarming News

Black conservatives thinking of voting for Obama…cause he’s half-black, y’know.

Some of the Republicans interviewed, like Armstrong Williams and Colin Powell, well, I could take ‘em or leave ‘em, but I was surprised that J.C. Watts was thinking of becoming an Obamacan:

J.C. Watts, a former Oklahoma congressman who once was part of the GOP House leadership, said he’s thinking of voting for Obama. Watts said he’s still a Republican, but he criticizes his party for neglecting the black community. Black Republicans, he said, have to concede that while they might not agree with Democrats on issues, at least that party reaches out to them.”And Obama highlights that even more,” Watts said, adding that he expects Obama to take on issues such as poverty and urban policy. “Republicans often seem indifferent to those things.”

So, J.C. Watts thinks the Republican party is neglecting the black community. Hmm. That’s funny, because when I interviewed him in 2004, during an African-Americans for Bush event at the Waldorf Astoria in NY, (video here) and asked him what the Republican party could do to attract more black voters, he said they should just keep doing what they’re doing. He didn’t indicate there was any room for improvement and he disputed my assertion that doing what we’ve been doing hasn’t worked. Watch the video, it’s pretty interesting, though my interviewing skills leave much to be desired.

***
I read the article and was just stunned at the colossal ignorance of these so called Negro conservatives.
Williams’ states:

“I don’t necessarily like his policies; I don’t like much that he advocates, but for the first time in my life, history thrusts me to really seriously think about it,” Williams said. “I can honestly say I have no idea who I’m going to pull that lever for in November. And to me, that’s incredible.”

So Negros who supposedly are conservatives and who are suppose to be mature enough to have developed the mindset of being colorblind when it comes to politics are actually considering voting for a liberal Negro because they themselves are color struck!?

I don’t know how long some of you folks have been peeping my little blog but you notice I rarely quote or post anything from many of these faux Negro conservative types because I have always regarded many of them as phony conservatives, with the exception of Thomas Sowell who I regard as the only “thinking” black conservative out there.
No true conservative would ever consider voting for an individual as liberal as Obama I don’t care how black he is suppose to be.

You know what is funny, If Obama manages to con enough white people into voting for him black folks will be no closer to the White House than they are now.
You actually think that Obama will appoint more minorities to the courts, or have more darkies in his administration, or even have any darkies amongst his staff or closest advisors. FUCK NO!
His election will not raise educational standards, curtail black on black crime or reduce baby daddy drama.

Obama was hand picked by someone or a group of folks (certainly all white) to try and wrestle the control of the Democratic Party from the grip of the Clinton’s and he has succeeded.
Obama if elected will owe a lot of people favors and I can guaran-damm-tee you people he won’t owe any darkies shit. Hell they did not support him initially anyway they only jumped on the bandwagon after a few victories.

This is why I find it kinda funny on the one hand but sad on the other.
Negros folk STILL feel so beat down and so inferior that for all the talk about getting past race and race issues Negros will rally behind any ole random political darkie just to make themselves feel better.
An Obama election victory will somehow validate their existence or finally make them feel proud.

I am far more interested in black folks who run corporations, who are in a position to create wealth and jobs.
If Negros have this constant need to be “proud” of the accomplishments of darkies shit how about folks like John Thompson, chairman and CEO the computer security firm Symantec; Chuck Phillips, co-president of database giant Oracle, Myrtle Potter, President biotech company Genentech and others like
Richard D. Parsons, CEO of Time Warner, Kenneth I. Chenault, CEO of American Express, E. Stanley O’ Neal, CEO of Merrill Lynch.
These are just the few I know about. If Negros want to be impressed at the advances of Negrodom look at people like these folks who have impressed white people enough to entrust them with their money and potential profits.

Are people still that fucken clueless about the actual impact of a damm president? I don’t ever have to see a Negro President to understand just how far Negros have come in such a short time.
I’ll trade the election of a Negro for President for more young black youth graduating from high school, or fewer gang related crimes or fewer dead beat fathers and fewer ghetto fabulous welfare queens.
If all of these black folks including these retarded Negro conservative frauds were voting for Obama based on tangible evidence that his election will cure all the ills in Negrodom, I’d be all for it. But no, dude “looks like one of us” so lets vote for him.
Yes we black folks have come a long way but we obviously still have a ways to go mentally, socially and intellectually.

William ‘Cold Cash’ Jefferson’s Family Values

Tuesday, June 10th, 2008

Found on Sweetness & Light

A newsworthy “editorial” from, of all places, the New Orleans Times-Picayune:

jefferson1.jpg

Let’s hear it for Jefferson family values

Friday, June 06, 2008
James Gill

Congressman “Dollar” Bill Jefferson, D-New Orleans, must be one proud patriarch.

To judge from the federal indictments that continue to rain down, his kinfolk were filled with a desire to be just like him.

They could not, of course, hope to emulate the scale of his alleged scams and shakedowns, which, as befits a politician in such exalted office, played out across two continents.

But there were no flies on the local team either, according to the feds. While Dollar Bill awaits trial in Northern Virginia, the New Orleans feds have indicted Dollar Bill’s sister, New Orleans Assessor Betty Jefferson, his brother Mose and his niece Angela Coleman.

Year in, year out, those three pocketed huge amounts of public money supposedly appropriated to help the needy, according to the indictment. No doubt they now yearn for the days when Dollar Bill’s old sidekick Eddie Jordan was U.S. attorney.

When President Bush appointed Jim Letten to replace Jordan, the family might have been wise to draw in its horns or at least to make some show of charitable endeavor. But its organizations just kept raking in the dough without so much as putting out a sign or publishing a phone number. The city’s myriad dispossessed can have had no idea all that money was sloshing around for their supposed benefit.

Stealing public money, it turns out, is pretty straightforward, provided you have friends and relatives in Baton Rouge and Washington. And you certainly have them if your patriarch is Dollar Bill, who was a state senator until his election to Congress 18 years ago.

Jefferson family organizations were major beneficiaries of slush funds in the gift of individual state legislators, who included Dollar Bill’s protégée Renee Gill Pratt and his daughter Jalila. Between them they steered some $5 million to organizations controlled by Aunt Betty, Uncle Mose and Cousin Angela.

Is the Criminal-Justice System Racist?

Tuesday, May 6th, 2008

blacks1.gif

“No: the high percentage of blacks behind bars reflects crime rates, not bigotry.”

by Heather Mac Donald on City Journal

The race industry and its elite enablers take it as self-evident that high black incarceration rates result from discrimination. At a presidential primary debate this Martin Luther King Day, for instance, Senator Barack Obama charged that blacks and whites “are arrested at very different rates, are convicted at very different rates, [and] receive very different sentences . . . for the same crime.” Not to be outdone, Senator Hillary Clinton promptly denounced the “disgrace of a criminal-justice system that incarcerates so many more African-Americans proportionately than whites.”

If a listener didn’t know anything about crime, such charges of disparate treatment might seem plausible. After all, in 2006, blacks were 37.5 percent of all state and federal prisoners, though they’re under 13 percent of the national population. About one in 33 black men was in prison in 2006, compared with one in 205 white men and one in 79 Hispanic men. Eleven percent of all black males between the ages of 20 and 34 are in prison or jail. The dramatic rise in the prison and jail population over the last three decades—to 2.3 million people at the end of 2007 (see box)—has only amplified the racial accusations against the criminal-justice system.

The favorite culprits for high black prison rates include a biased legal system, draconian drug enforcement, and even prison itself. None of these explanations stands up to scrutiny. The black incarceration rate is overwhelmingly a function of black crime. Insisting otherwise only worsens black alienation and further defers a real solution to the black crime problem.

Racial activists usually remain assiduously silent about that problem. But in 2005, the black homicide rate was over seven times higher than that of whites and Hispanics combined, according to the federal Bureau of Justice Statistics. From 1976 to 2005, blacks committed over 52 percent of all murders in America. In 2006, the black arrest rate for most crimes was two to nearly three times blacks’ representation in the population. Blacks constituted 39.3 percent of all violent-crime arrests, including 56.3 percent of all robbery and 34.5 percent of all aggravated-assault arrests, and 29.4 percent of all property-crime arrests.

The advocates acknowledge such crime data only indirectly: by charging bias on the part of the system’s decision makers. As Obama suggested in the Martin Luther King debate, police, prosecutors, and judges treat blacks and whites differently “for the same crime.”

Let’s start with the idea that cops over-arrest blacks and ignore white criminals. In fact, the race of criminals reported by crime victims matches arrest data. As long ago as 1978, a study of robbery and aggravated assault in eight cities found parity between the race of assailants in victim identifications and in arrests—a finding replicated many times since, across a range of crimes. No one has ever come up with a plausible argument as to why crime victims would be biased in their reports.

Moving up the enforcement chain, the campaign against the criminal-justice system next claims that prosecutors overcharge and judges oversentence blacks. Obama describes this alleged postarrest treatment as “Scooter Libby justice for some and Jena justice for others.” Jena, Louisiana, of course, was where a D.A. initially lodged attempted second-degree murder charges against black students who, in December 2006, slammed a white student’s head against a concrete beam, knocking him unconscious, and then stomped and kicked him in the head while he was down. As Charlotte Allen has brilliantly chronicled in The Weekly Standard, a local civil rights activist crafted a narrative linking the attack to an unrelated incident months earlier, in which three white students hung two nooses from a schoolyard tree—a display that may or may not have been intended as a racial provocation. This entrepreneur then embellished the tale with other alleged instances of redneck racism—above all, the initial attempted-murder charges. An enthusiastic national press responded to the bait exactly as intended, transforming the “Jena Six” into victims rather than perpetrators. In the seven months of ensuing headlines and protests, Jena became a symbol of systemic racial unfairness in America’s court system. If blacks were disproportionately in prison, the refrain went, it was because they faced biased prosecutors—like the one in Jena—as well as biased juries and judges.

Backing up this bias claim has been the holy grail of criminology for decades—and the prize remains as elusive as ever. In 1997, criminologists Robert Sampson and Janet Lauritsen reviewed the massive literature on charging and sentencing. They concluded that “large racial differences in criminal offending,” not racism, explained why more blacks were in prison proportionately than whites and for longer terms. A 1987 analysis of Georgia felony convictions, for example, found that blacks frequently received disproportionately lenient punishment. A 1990 study of 11,000 California cases found that slight racial disparities in sentence length resulted from blacks’ prior records and other legally relevant variables. A 1994 Justice Department survey of felony cases from the country’s 75 largest urban areas discovered that blacks actually had a lower chance of prosecution following a felony than whites did and that they were less likely to be found guilty at trial. Following conviction, blacks were more likely to receive prison sentences, however—an outcome that reflected the gravity of their offenses as well as their criminal records.

Another criminologist—easily as liberal as Sampson—reached the same conclusion in 1995: “Racial differences in patterns of offending, not racial bias by police and other officials, are the principal reason that such greater proportions of blacks than whites are arrested, prosecuted, convicted and imprisoned,” Michael Tonry wrote in Malign Neglect. (Tonry did go on to impute malign racial motives to drug enforcement, however.) The media’s favorite criminologist, Alfred Blumstein, found in 1993 that blacks were significantly underrepresented in prison for homicide compared with their presence in arrest.

This consensus hasn’t made the slightest dent in the ongoing search for systemic racism. An entire industry in the law schools now dedicates itself to flushing out prosecutorial and judicial bias, using ever more complicated statistical artillery. The net result? A few new studies show tiny, unexplained racial disparities in sentencing, while other analyses continue to find none. Any differences that do show up are trivially small compared with the exponentially greater rates of criminal offending among blacks. No criminologist would claim, moreover, to have controlled for every legal factor that affects criminal-justice outcomes, says Patrick Langan, former senior statistician for the Bureau of Justice Statistics. Prosecutors and judges observe the heinousness of a defendant’s conduct, for example, but a number-crunching researcher has no easy way to discover and quantify that variable.

Some criminologists replace statistics with High Theory in their search for racism. The criminal-justice system does treat individual suspects and criminals equally, they concede. But the problem is how society defines crime and criminals. Crime is a social construction designed to marginalize minorities, these theorists argue. A liberal use of scare quotes is virtually mandatory in such discussions, to signal one’s distance from primitive notions like “law-abiding” and “dangerous.” Arguably, vice crimes are partly definitional (though even there, the law enforcement system focuses on them to the extent that they harm communities). But the social constructivists are talking about all crime, and it’s hard to see how one could “socially reconstruct” assault or robbery so as to convince victims that they haven’t been injured.

Obama’s new pastor quotes ‘F— AmeriKKKa’ rap song

Monday, May 5th, 2008

“Down wit the niggaz that I bail out
I’m platinum b-tch and I didn’t have to sell out
F— you Ice Cube, that’s what the people say
F— AmeriKKKa, still with the triple K
Cause you know when my nine goes buck
it’ll bust your head like a watermelon dropped from 12 stories up
Now let’s see who’ll drop”

JERUSALEM – Otis Moss, the man slated to become the new chief pastor at the Trinity United Church of Christ, referenced a rap song during one of his recent sermons that includes among its lyrics “F— America” and states the U.S. is “still with triple K” – referring to the white supremacist Ku Klux Klan.

Obama, though, told the New York Times last week he will continue his membership in Trinity. He referred to Moss as “wonderful.”

“Well, you know, the new pastor – the young pastor, Rev. Otis Moss, is a wonderful young pastor. And as I said, I still very much value the Trinity community,” stated Obama.

The 37-year-old Moss, nicknamed the “hip-hop pastor” by congregants, will become the head of Trinity Christ in next month.

In an interview in March with National Public Radio, Moss said he welcomes media scrutiny of his future sermons, calling the expected publicity “exciting.”

“I’m excited because I’m hoping some people will get saved in the process,” he said.

But his recorded March sermons are already revealing some controversial rhetoric.

In his Easter sermon, Moss spoke at length about the media attention received by Wright. Moss claimed Wright was “lynched” by the international media.

“No one should start a ministry with lynching, no one should end their ministry with lynching,” Moss said.

MORE HEREbut why bother…another idiot Nigga who has become intoxicated by the spotlight not caring how fucken stupid he looks.

Segregation Sunday’s, Rev Wright, The Black Church, Racial Rhetoric Profiteering

Monday, April 28th, 2008

wrightbill1.jpg
Mrs. Snoop is my witness. She knows that I have said for as least long as I have known her - and I promise you long before that - that Sunday is the most segregated day of the week.Faith is personal; faith is deeply engrained in the soul. And I’m not talking about Faith. I’m talking about how one goes about expressing ones faith. How one chooses to worship and publicly express that Faith.I have always believed that who you choose to worship with is a far more important aspect of your individual character than just about anything else. In most cases, Blacks and Whites (and just about every other race and creed)have specifically chosen to keep their specific worshiping practices separate.

As far as I’m concerned, churches are nothing more than clubs, fraternities or sororities; a religiously sanctioned excuse to congregate with “your own kind.” And everyone who regularly attends a church does it.

People of different races may work together, play together, eat together, etc., and have no problem. But, sharing the gospel under the same roof is totally unacceptable to the vast majority of individuals who practice their faith.

Because we are blinded to the possibilities of other realities and points of view is exactly why we have more religious denominations than people to populate them.

Far too many people live their daily lives bogged down by religious and spiritual dogma. They relegate themselves to what I would call spiritual and intellectual jail cells.

It could be something as silly as barring themselves from eating certain foods or engaging in what they might call “secular” no-nos because they have convinced themselves that God Almighty actually gives a shit whether or not you celebrate a birthday, or light a candle on a certain day or whether or not you are able to recite a church or a denominationally sanctioned prayer.

Individuals become spiritually and emotionally handicapped by human dogma emotionally hogtied to specific religious convictions that restrict God given emotional and spiritual growth. God must do a lot of laughing, or crying, at how human beings have screwed up everything, including and especially worshiping their creator!

I have attended a fair number of worship services from Mormon to Methodist from Seventh Day Adventist to Catholic. I have always been amazed at the number of creative ways each have decided to craft their ceremonies and rituals and even how each decides how to decorate their house or worship. Even the rules surrounding how individuals should conduct themselves outside the church walls varies from denomination to denomination.

I could be wrong on this, but I have always believed that all of these “rules” are specifically designed to present an air of individuality to that specific congregation. A lot of people badly want or need to feel “special.” The goal not to simply honor God or religious symbol of choice but to present a feeling of isolation or separation from those who are not members of that specific club. Being part of your specific congregation is somehow “special” or “superior” ‘to those heathens who attend that rival church down the block.

Rev Jeremiah Wright, who is now on his personal money making and legacy crusade, is using this self induced racial religious isolation to his own personal advantage. Using the “mystery” of the black church experience in order to charge that the reason white folks around the nation misinterpreted his remarks is because no white person could understand the distinct disadvantages faced by black Americans and the black church. Oh, and he is uniquely qualified in educating black folks (and now white America) to the realities of American injustice. He says that this is a constant message preached in black churches around the country. If you are White, or Black and not attending church regularly, how the hell would you know otherwise?

A small percentage of white people might want to venture to a black church to see first hand what actually goes on. But most are too occupied with healing their own spiritual wounds from the previous week to go out looking to be further abused. Most people don’t go looking for abuse while attending a church service.

This Wright controversy serves as a stark reminder that the problem of the color line still divides the U.S. and its churches. Rev. Wright is simply taking advantage of that ignorance and taking it upon himself to be the misunderstood voice of the black church and black people.

I have read a number of Negro apologists say that this debate “obscures the rich and necessary prophetic role of the black church,” as one writer puts it.

Rev. Otis Moss III, the new Pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, has said “that we do a grave disservice by boiling down over 207,000 minutes of Dr. Wright’s preaching into a handful of 30-second sound bites,” (and in his mind) “most taken out of context.” However you don’t need to have a self-promotion tour to explain yourself when you are speaking the word of God to your congregation. Of course white people could never understand the context of Rev Wright’s words because supposedly black folks process the truth differently than white folks. We do? You mean the truth is not the truth universally?

All of this nonsense further promotes the racial divisions that had been slowly eroded over the years, not to mention the perceived acceptance of white Americans to Obama’s presidential bid.

Again although I’m not a regular church attendee I have no beef with those who use the church forum to speak out about the health of our democracy. Or to call their flock, or the world over, on the carpet for not leading better lives. Prophetic speech is characterized by an overwhelming sense of an encounter with God and a message of moral and political judgment that a prophet feels divinely compelled to proclaim. I don’t believe that biblical prophets, preachers, pastors, priests should mince words or shy away from controversy and I understand that many prophets and preachers are often misunderstood. Years ago many were persecuted, and sometimes even killed for their words.

However, “religious” leaders who pretend to foretell the future in the name of God, who attack the humanity of others, or who set up manmade rules and pretend they are from God do not speak out against injustice while calling folks back to God’s word and his kingdom. They are people who want to merely make a buck (or millions), get attention, have power over others, or simply be big wheels in some fish pond.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. himself pronounced judgment against America for the sin of racism and the cancer of Jim Crow segregation. King called on America to become the “beloved community, ensuring that God’s demands for dignity and justice and the rights guaranteed by the Constitution were afforded to all Americans.”

Remember King also described his issues with the war in Vietnam when he said

“America would never invest the necessary funds or energies in rehabilitation of its poor so long as adventures like Vietnam continued to draw men and skills and money, like some demonic, destructive suction tube. And you may not know it, my friends, but it is estimated that we spend $500,000 to kill each enemy soldier, while we spend only fifty-three dollars for each person classified as poor, and much of that fifty-three dollars goes for salaries to people that are not poor. So I was increasingly compelled to see the war as an enemy of the poor, and attack it as such.”

In his Beyond Vietnam speech delivered at New York’s Riverside Church on April 4, 1967 a year to the day before he was murdered King called the United States “the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today.”

So yes, it is possible to speak up against the actions of your country and still be a person of Faith. Because of white guilt America likes to romanticize the Dr. King of Montgomery and Selma, but often ignores the “King of Memphis” that demanded a living wage, or the King of Riverside Church who declared silence around the Vietnam War as betrayal.

I’m certain that Rev Wright and other pretenders to the “black throne” see themselves as King disciples. However I don’t see sincerity in the rhetoric Wright spews.
Wright is not interested in healing America nor the reconciliation he spoke about this morning.

Negros like Wright are only interested in seizing the monetary gains that Anti-American rhetoric provides. Wright is not likely to be gunned down by some angry gunman. Rather, it is more likely that some very liberal (is there any other kind?) university will pay him a handsome salary to rant about the ills of America to a bunch of young white skulls of mush while sipping red wine in his soon to be finished $10 million home in an all white community. Dr. King I doubt saw a lucrative future in speaking out about American injustices. In fact, Dr. King gave away the money he won when given the Nobel Peace Prize, and insisted that his family live where they always had – with the common people. Rev. Wright is not likely to ever do that.

I’ve been watching the news all day and the legions of political commentators appear on TV trying to explain Rev Wright when it is so clear to me that why he is on this speaking tour, the almighty EVIL American dollar.

While some pastors truly devote themselves to bringing people to God, Wright as I have said sees a cash cow. Why it is so hard for others in the media to see this is mind-boggling to me.

Meanwhile, if you personally want to end racism, how about crossing the most important race barrier still in existence. The church line is alive and well, and living it up in America!

The full video of Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s now-infamous “God Damn America” sermon has been posted by Fox News here, in three parts: Sermon Video Presents Obama’s Former Pastor in His Own Words.Watch the whole thing—because despite the outcry from mainstream media and Obama supporters (there’s a difference?) that Wright’s vile comments were taken out of context, when you watch his complete sermon it’s even worse.

And now we have more examples of completely in-context hate speech, from other sermons by Rev. Wright, at Hugh Hewitt’s blog: Providing Context For Reverend Wright: The New Audio Of His Sermons.

Rev. Wright’s Words Sting, But We’ll Skip Quoting Them? - Newsbusters

Michelle Malkin - Liveblogging Wright at the National Press Club

#####
My quick two cents, lots going on at work…

I listened to the Rev Wright at the National Press Club. The one thing that is obvious to me is that Rev Wright has clearly turned on Obama. I’m not talking about any specifics of his message this morning because all dude did was draw a line in the sand and is attempting to drive a wedge between the races and saying that the attacks on him are “not about him” but an attack on the black church trying to recruit Negros into his intellectual race war.

Folks although I’m not a particularly “religious” individual I did spend enough time in churches and in particular black churches to know that the ridiculous rhetoric and the divisive message preached by Rev. Wright is not “common” in black churches.
But forget about “the black church” or Rev Wright’s prior sermons, or any specifics in his presentation this morning.
What Rev. Wright is engaging in is “showbiz clergy” I know that is a slightly clumsy phrase, but it speaks to individuals not wanting to bring individuals closer to God and his message but to create an audience for his religious shtick.
Think about it in terms of Howard Stern and his sexually explicit skits on his show, or Bill Maher in his over the top rants on conservatives and Christians, or Keith Olbermann’s constant anti-Republican rants or even Rush who obviously caters to a conservative audience.
Wright sees a golden opportunity for some big paydays in the future and I’m convinced that dude is on the Clinton payroll.
If you watched his demeanor during his presentation, dude is enjoying himself and soaking up all of the attention and white liberal folks can’t get enough of him.
It’s obvious that there are a lot of very angry pissed off Negros in America, whether that anger is justified is up for individual interpretation. Rev Wright’s fame and fortune is all tied to this perceived black anger unfortunately to the detriment of Obama because Obama was being seen as the messiah the person who would bridge the racial gap in America. people like Rev Wright don’t want to see that happen because anger division is translated into dollar signs.
Wright is set to raise the level of race hustling to new heights and to install himself as the NEW self appointed head of America’s black consciousness.

Forget about his ranting about this “liberation theology” bullshit. Black folks who are poor, broke, uneducated and filled with doubt will not be spending their waking hours Googling “liberation theology” and examining the specifics and ideological rants found in Rev Wright’s words.
This speaking tour is about building a lasting legacy by being viewed by the white media as the new face and perceived new “leader” of Black America.
He wants the fortune, fame and adoration the liberal media has bestowed on the Jessie Jackson’s and the Al Sharpton’s of the world.
Rev Wright although controversial you can’t deny his charisma and powerful persona comes across as far more articulate, educated as either Sharpton or Jackson.
As far as Rev. Wright is concerned if Obama’s presidential campaign has to be thrown under the bus to make room for the new voice of Black America so be it.

Here are a few questions Wright took after his presentation. Had to cut off because of You Tube time length, but he responded to some oft asked questions concerning him.

The Obama/Weather Underground compendium

DAMM Michelle looks jacked up in that pic!
1ayers005.jpg

This of course has nothing to do with the issues, spreading communism across America!

Lots of stuff from Michelle Malkin

The blogosphere and talk radio are turning up the heat on the Obamas’ cozy relations with Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.Hugh Hewitt and Power Line have 2007 audio of the America-bashing WU terrorists, dug up by Guy Benson of WYLL’s The Sandy Rios Show

Erick Stakelbeck compiles archival video of the couple’s left-wing diatribes.

John Kass has a Chicago Trib column today recounting Dohrn’s role in the Broadway Baby boutique customer ID theft scam that abetted terrorism.

Rezko Watch (see also here) has a link-rich chronicle of the Obama/WU story.

Ed Morrissey explains why this matters. Allahpundit’s got vid of McCain taking on the story and background WU vid here.

Rick Moran reviews the MSM coverage to date and sums up the key facts:

There’s more to this relationship than Ayers simply being a “guy who lives in my neighborhood.” The two were introduced back in 1995 when Obama was presented by outgoing state senator Alice Palmer to Ayers and other far left activists in the University Chicago neighborhood of Hyde Park at Ayers house…RezkoWatch reports on 2 other forums where we know Obama and Ayers participated:Wondering whether the three may have crossed paths is not speculation. It is a fact that they have. Ayers, Dohrn, and Obama have appeared together at a number of gatherings and academic events. In November 1997, Ayers and Obama participated in a panel at the University of Chicago entitled Should a child ever be called a “super predator?” to debate “the merits of the juvenile justice system”.In April 2002, Ayers, Dohrn, and Obama, then an Illinois State Senator, participated together at a conference entitled “Intellectuals: Who Needs Them?” sponsored by The Center for Public Intellectuals and the University of Illinois-Chicago. Ayers and Obama were two of the six members of the “Intellectuals in Times of Crisis” panel. And Campus Watch reports on a farewell dinner for the radical Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi, who was leaving the Arab American Action Network to take the Edward Said endowed chair at Colombia University, where Obama, Ayers, and Dohrn all gave glowing testimonials to Khalidi – whose group received $75,000 from the Woods Foundation.

Bill Clinton Irritated by Race-Card Questions

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008

From the NY Times Blog

Asked this morning about comments he made yesterday in which he told a radio interviewer that the Obama campaign played the “race card on me” during the South Carolina primary, former President Bill Clinton batted back a reporter today and basically denied the interpretation. Here’s today’s exchange with Mike Memoli, of NBC and the National Journal, and Mr. Clinton:

#####

On WHHY radio yesterday, Susan Phillips (no relation) talked to him about how some African-American officials in Philadelphia switched their early support from his wife to Senator Obama after Mr. Clinton compared Mr. Obama’s win in South Carolina to that of Jesse Jackson’s. Ms. Phillips cited one official’s concerns that Mr. Clinton had “marginalized Mr. Obama as the black candidate.”

Plight Of The Black Conservatives: Negros must vote for Obama or else!

Monday, April 21st, 2008

obamaselma.jpg
This is a portion from the chronic Negro liberal Oliver Willis

“the vast majority of blacks engaged in politics are moving forward you have a miniscule few who for whatever the reason (I tend to think its for them to adopt a contrarian pose) will vote Republican. As a result, they are outliers within their own race and essentially position themselves against the tide of black history. The tried and true response of black conservatives is to look at themselves as some kind of hero or martyrs. The larger conservative movement, unable to attract a sizable percentage of black votes, trumpets these kinds of stories again and again. Like this blog post from the hard-right Human Events:

Blacks who will vote for McCain this fall are some of the most courageous people on the planet, because of the extreme social scorn they will face from their left-wing black counterparts.

It takes courage to challenge the dominant social order. It took courage for Elia Kazan to battle pro-Communist sentiment in the 1950s. It took courage for Martin Luther King to fight Jim Crow in the 1960s. It took courage for Ronald Reagan to confront institutionalized liberalism in the 1980s. Likewise, it will take courage for black Republicans like [Michael] Steele to combat “Obama-ism” in the late-2000s.

Of course, a black person supporting McCain is not courageous at all. If you want to truly compare it to the 1960s its the equivalent of seeing Bull Connor sic dogs on people and saying “Hey guys, let’s cool it on all this civil rights stuff, we may upset some people.”

This is another in the long line of clueless Negros who will stop at nothing at dissing Negros who exhibits any measure of independent thought.
Just for the record if asshole happens to read this, I am not planning on voting for McCain because he is a closet liberal sellout Republican weasel like a great many of current idiot fuck Republicans like the moron Governor of Indiana.

I do not vote for nor have I ever voted for “an individual” as much as I vote for principles, which is the primary reason why I will not waist my time voting for McCain in November.
I see him in the same mold as idiot fuck Newt pimping climate change bullshit with that liberal hack Nancy Pelosi. Newt is one of a growing crop if RINO’s who believes in compromising with idiot fuck liberals when I believe they should be doing the opposite.

As far as his post referring to anti-Obama Negros as “martyrs” and that fellow Negro conservative “prop up policies that hurt black America” is simply embarrassingly retarded and intellectually vacant.

As I have said many times on this blog, as a black man Obama’s ascension to the presidency is not high on my priority list nor will his presidency make me more of a man or a better black man. And just as any idiot liberal, Obama’s policies will no doubt keep way too many black folks, uneducated, unmotivated and impoverished. No amount of right wing Negro conservative bashing I hear from clueless Negros hacks will make me think otherwise.
This is why black folks are so fucked now because most are damm sheep and end up raising fucked up kids like the one in the “kill Bush” video below.

Instead of these stupid Niggas writing these fucken moronic posts castigating Negros who refuses to buy into Obama’s or any other Democrat bullshit try educating me on just how the Magic Negro plans to magically stop Niggas from killing each other, snorting child support payments up their noses, taking care of their kids and dropping out of school at an alarming rate. Then the ears may perk up.

One million high school dropouts in U.S. each year

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

school3.JPG

(article link) “When more than one million students a year drop out of high school, it’s more than a problem, it’s a catastrophe,” retired General Colin Powell, founder of America’s Promise Alliance. “It’s time for a national ‘call to arms,’ because we cannot afford to let nearly one-third of our kids fail.”His statement of urgency came during a press conference announcing the release of a study that details why nearly one in three U.S. high school students drops out before graduating and how his group plans to reverse the downward spiral of retention.

“Our economic and national security is at risk when we fail to educate the leaders and the workforce of the future,” added Mr. Powell, whose wife Mrs. Alma Powell serves as the chair of the Alliance.

“Cities in Crisis: A Special Analytic Report on High School Graduation,” prepared by Editorial Projects in Education Research Center, was released on April 1.

The study found urban schools in metropolitan areas surrounding 35 of the nation’s largest cities have lower graduation rates than schools in nearby suburban communities. Disparities in urban-suburban graduation rates had gaps as large as 35 percentage points in many cases. Approximately 1.2 million students drop out each year–about 7,000 every school day, or one every 26 seconds. Nearly half of all Black and Native American students are expected not to graduate with their classes, while less than six in 10 Hispanic students will.

“The number one predictor of a young person’s future success is whether they graduate from high school,” said Mrs. Powell. “But just conferring a diploma is not enough. Students today must graduate with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in college, work and life. We must invest in the whole child, and that means finding solutions that involve the family, the school and the community.”

Why do students drop out? According to interviews conducted with high school dropouts by Civic Enterprises, nearly half of dropouts said the main reason they left school was because classes were not interesting. Nearly 70 percent said they were not motivated to work hard and two-thirds would have worked harder if more were demanded of them. Approximately one-third left for personal reasons (to get a job, become a parent…..

To become a parent?!! Was the mutherfucker who wrote this article high when he wrote it? To become a parent? Helloooo they were too busy knocking boots while playing hooky from school better known as “keep a nigga” sex which 9 months later means giving birth to a “keep a nigga” baby!

or care for a family member) and one-third cited “failing in school” as a major factor. Seventy percent were confident they could have graduated,

Oh so we are suppose believe that Lekisha Alazae Jenkins could have indeed graduated never mind the fact that “F” were dotting her report card for years.

including a majority with low GPAs, the study found. More than 80 percent said their chances of staying in school would have increased if classes were more interesting and provided opportunities for real-world learning. The majority said higher expectations from teachers and parents and improved supervision in the classroom would have helped keep them in school.

READ THE REST IF YOU WANT BUT WHY BOTHER

This same old shit about grasping at something anything to explain why Negros are falling further and further behind.
Not to beat down my daughter again but she is the best example of why this piece is bullshit.
She is 20, with second child on board, she is too fucken lazy to even get her GED.
She is not failing to get her education because of “lack of expectations” or opportunities. She is like too many of these Negro kids, they are simply fucking lazy.

What the fuck, do we scrap the public school system and hire individual tutors for each of these damm kids?
This article is basically saying “we need to throw more taxpayer money into these schools” and I’m thinking fuck that.

I’m sick of this shit. These kids are pissing away free education and totally ignoring the fact that “education equals freedom.”
You mean to tell me that looking at their nappy head welfare queen mom, sitting on her ass watching Judge Mathis is not motivation enough to decide for themselves that being a permanent welfare case and babies daddy chaser is not the future they want!

Back in the day it was illegal for Negros to be educated, it was amazing how they managed to find a way around that little hurdle.

Now these little juvenile delinquents droupouts are bitching that teachers, parents, society did not motivate them enough. Give me a fucken break!

Alicia Keys: ‘Gangsta Rap’ Created to Convince Black People to Kill Each Other

Monday, April 14th, 2008

keys.jpg

Found this on Moonbattery

“Barack O’Bigot can count on the vote of zillionaire entertainer and fellow oppressed mulatto Alicia Keys, who sounds remarkably like Obama’s spiritual mentor Jeremiah Wright as she explains how the white man created gangsta rap to convince blacks to kill each other.Keys also reveals that the homicidal feud between the thugs Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. was driven “by the government and the media, to stop another great black leader from existing.” Keys praises cop-killing Black Panther sociopath Huey Newton, lamenting that if he’d “had the outlets our musicians have today, it[anti-Caucasian race hate]’d be global. I have to figure out a way to do it myself.”

The career of a white entertainer who promised to spread the message of the KKK would be over instantly. That’s certainly fair, since as any black supremacist could tell you, only white people are racist.”

######

This is another example of the endless parade of egregious acts of racism and the spewing out of stupid silly retarded Nigga nonsense.
What is continually irritating to me is that these stupid Negros are totally unrepentant over their racist attitudes and mind blowing illogical verbal diarrhea.
I mean seriously did this fool actually process how retarded this particular statement would look in print?
This is why black folks, particularly young black folks are fucked because I can envision this stupid ass statement being circulated in barber shops in hoods across America and Negros who are totally clueless and mentally inept will nod in agreement.

Let me tell you something, nothing against you white folks, many of you are smart but y’all ain’t that damm smart!
Imagine, just by simply being white, you people can cast this constant ghostly haze over intellectually and emotionally deficient Niggas! AMAZING!

Republicans and Blacks

Monday, April 14th, 2008

mccainking.jpgBy Thomas Sowell

Why would Senator McCain choose a venue where his rejection was virtually guaranteed? Not only did he not get his message out, the message that came out through the media is that this black audience rejected him, which is readily portrayed as if blacks in general rejected him.The Republican strategy for making inroads into the black vote has failed consistently for more than a quarter of a century. Yet it never seems to occur to them to change their approach. The first thing that they do that is foredoomed to failure is trying to reach blacks through the civil rights organizations and other institutions of the black establishment. The second proven loser is trying to appeal to blacks by offering the same kinds of things that Democrats offer– token honors, politically correct rhetoric and welfare state benefits.

Blacks who want those things know that they can already get them from the Democrats. Why should they listen to Republicans who act like imitation Democrats?’

These are not the blacks whose votes Republicans have any realistic hope of getting. Nor do the Republicans need the votes of all blacks. If just 20 percent of blacks begin voting Republican, the Democrats are lost.

The question then is how to have a shot at getting the votes of those blacks who are not in thrall to the current black “leaders” and who on many issues may be conservative.

Disgrace in Detroit

Monday, April 14th, 2008

naalcp3.jpg

From the Wall Street Journal

The NAACP has been known as a venerable civil rights organization–so venerable that the “CP” stands for “Colored People,” and everyone understands that is a relic of a time when that phrase provoked no offense. Founded on Feb. 12, 1909, the centenary of Lincoln’s birth, the organization fought Jim Crow laws and segregation. It was NAACP chief counsel Thurgood Marshall who successfully argued the landmark case of Brown v. Board of Education before the U.S. Supreme Court, a court Marshall himself would join 13 years later as the first black justice.

If you respect the NAACP’s heritage, you will be disgusted to learn that the organization’s Detroit chapter plans to honor a man who says that AIDS is a U.S. government plot to kill black people and that the Sept. 11 attacks were “America’s chickens . . . coming home to roost,” and who declares: “God damn America.” As the Detroit Free Press reports:

Controversial minister Jeremiah Wright will speak at the Detroit branch of the NAACP 53rd Annual Fight for Freedom Fund dinner. . . .

The Fight for Freedom dinner, which annually attracts about 10,000 people, will be held April 27 at Cobo Hall. The gathering is a key fund-raiser for the Detroit Branch NAACP, and is billed as the largest sit-down dinner in the country.

This appears to be a case of circling the wagons: Wright, a black man, is under attack, so the NAACP, an organization that seeks the advancement of black people, is defending him. In doing so, the NAACP is committing an analytical and moral error. Wright is under attack not for the color of his skin, but for the content of his ideas. To defend him is to countenance those ideas. Through its actions, the NAACP is in effect arguing that anti-Americanism is acceptable, so long as its source is black. The association is sanctioning both invidious ideas and an invidious racial double standard.

‘This Is How We Lost to the White Man’ - “The audacity of Bill Cosby’s black conservatism”

Friday, April 11th, 2008

This article is by Ta-Nehisi Coates from The Atlantic

Last summer, in Detroit’s St. Paul Church of God in Christ, I watched Bill Cosby summon his inner Malcolm X. It was a hot July evening. Cosby was speaking to an audience of black men dressed in everything from Enyce T-shirts or polos to blazers and ties. Some were there with their sons. Some were there in wheelchairs. The audience was packed tight, rows of folding chairs extended beyond the wooden pews to capture the overflow. But the chairs were not enough, and late arrivals stood against the long shotgun walls, or out in the small lobby, where they hoped to catch a snatch of Cosby’s oratory. Clutching a cordless mic, Cosby paced the front of the church, shifting between prepared remarks and comic ad-libs. A row of old black men, community elders, sat behind him, nodding and grunting throaty affirmations. The rest of the church was in full call-and-response mode, punctuating Cosby’s punch lines with laughter, applause, or cries of “Teach, black man! Teach!”He began with the story of a black girl who’d risen to become valedictorian of his old high school, despite having been cosby.jpgabandoned by her father. “She spoke to the graduating class and her speech started like this,” Cosby said. “‘I was 5 years old. It was Saturday and I stood looking out the window, waiting for him.’ She never said what helped turn her around. She never mentioned her mother, grandmother, or great-grandmother.”

“Understand me,” Cosby said, his face contorted and clenched like a fist. “Men? Men? Men! Where are you, men?”

Audience: “Right here!”

Cosby had come to Detroit aiming to grab the city’s black men by their collars and shake them out of the torpor that has left so many of them—like so many of their peers across the country—undereducated, over-incarcerated, and underrepresented in the ranks of active fathers. No women were in the audience. No reporters were allowed, for fear that their presence might frighten off fathers behind on their child-support payments. But I was there, trading on race, gender, and a promise not to interview any of the allegedly skittish participants.

“Men, if you want to win, we can win,” Cosby said. “We are not a pitiful race of people. We are a bright race, who can move with the best. But we are in a new time, where people are behaving in abnormal ways and calling it normal … When they used to come into our neighborhoods, we put the kids in the basement, grabbed a rifle, and said, ‘By any means necessary.’

“I don’t want to talk about hatred of these people,” he continued. “I’m talking about a time when we protected our women and protected our children. Now I got people in wheelchairs, paralyzed. A little girl in Camden, jumping rope, shot through the mouth. Grandmother saw it out the window. And people are waiting around for Jesus to come, when Jesus is already within you.”

Cosby was wearing his standard uniform—dark sunglasses, loafers, a sweat suit emblazoned with the seal of an institution of higher learning. That night it was the University of Massachusetts, where he’d gotten his doctorate in education 30 years ago. He was preaching from the book of black self-reliance, a gospel that he has spent the past four years carrying across the country in a series of events that he bills as “call-outs.” “My problem,” Cosby told the audience, “is I’m tired of losing to white people. When I say I don’t care about white people, I mean let them say what they want to say. What can they say to me that’s worse than what their grandfather said?”

From Birmingham to Cleveland and Baltimore, at churches and colleges, Cosby has been telling thousands of black Americans that racism in America is omnipresent but that it can’t be an excuse to stop striving. As Cosby sees it, the antidote to racism is not rallies, protests, or pleas, but strong families and communities. Instead of focusing on some abstract notion of equality, he argues, blacks need to cleanse their culture, embrace personal responsibility, and reclaim the traditions that fortified them in the past. Driving Cosby’s tough talk about values and responsibility is a vision starkly different from Martin Luther King’s gauzy, all-inclusive dream: it’s an America of competing powers, and a black America that is no longer content to be the weakest of the lot.

Memo to black websites: “America is racist and wants to put all black men in jail”

Monday, April 7th, 2008
“Consider the cold, hard reality of growing up in one of these communities where every third person goes off to the penitentiary, where gangs and violence and drugs are everywhere. You can walk proud and tall wearing your colors in your’ hood, but you put on a suit, go downtown, and try to get a job, and nobody will give you the time of day. That’s where these young men are coming from. “

Over the weekend Mrs. Snoop and I were watching some TV show, (I think it was Meet the Press) another discussion about race and how black folks are fucked, America is racist, bla, bla, bla.

Michael Dyson one of the guests went on this long diatribe about basically this conspiracy that America’s racism and class structure somehow pulls the rug out from under folks thereby keeping people poor.

I know this is a crude synopsis, but I have the gist. I am getting to the point that my brain starts to shut down when I listen to these type of discussions for too long.

I’m a simple dude, with very simple logic. The choices we have all made have lead us to be where we are right now.

I am working in a job that is perfectly suited for my past background.

I make an average salary. Could I be making more, sure. I received my skill sets via the Air Force. I chose not to attend college, because just thinking about school gives me hives.

But I am where I am not because of some collective conspiracy to keep me a middle class working slob, I am where I am because of the choices I made.

The choice I made to not to attend college…

The choice I made to enter the Air Force…

The choice I made to switch career fields…

The choice I made not to take another overseas assignment to Greece…

The choice I made to date a woman with two kids…

The choice I made to move in with her…

The choice I made to marry her, I was only 20…

The choice I made to move my new family to base housing…

The choice I made to move my family off base…

The choice I made to move into a certain neighborhood…

The choice to leave the Air Force and take a civilian job that was offered to me…

The choice to move again…

The choice to leave my job and help
