DEMOCRATS Want to Stop Immigration-Enforcement Raids

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

immigration_vote_democrat.jpg
(CNSNews.com) - Immigration reform advocates, including Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee, are calling for an end to Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids at businesses that knowingly hire large numbers of illegal aliens.

Meanwhile, a report published Tuesday by a Washington think tank shows that raids, along with other enforcement measures, are doing exactly what they are supposed to do: reducing the number of foreigners illegally working and residing in the United States.

The report, authored by Dr. Stephen Camarota of the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), says that the illegal-alien population in the United States has declined by more than one million persons in the past year.

CIS looked at a number of possible causes for the decline and concluded that increased enforcement measures have discouraged new illegal immigration and encouraged illegal aliens already here to ‘self-deport’.

“If the decline were sustained, it would reduce the illegal population by one-half in the next five years,” the report concludes.

Blog Watch MM: 15 things you should know about “The Race”

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

John McCain and Barack Obama will both pander to the National Council of La Raza on Saturday…

From Michelle Malkin

With the La Raza twins scheduled to speak at the National Council of La Raza this Saturday, I devoted my syndicated column today to telling the truth about “The Race.” I’ve blogged these points before, but they are worth repeating as McCain, Obama, and the press whitewash “The Race’s” open-borders radicalism.

Stefan Sharkansky at Sound Politics reports that a new La Raza/The Race preschool has opened up in Seattle–subsidized with tax dollars. Meanwhile, San Diego has gone ahead and passed its mayoral-backed resolution declaring La Raza/The Race Day. Here’s video. Those who protested the decision were slammed as…racists.

A sample -

15. “The Race” supports driver’s licenses for illegal aliens.

14.”The Race” demands in-state tuition discounts for illegal alien students that are not available to law-abiding US citizens and law-abiding legal immigrants.

13. “The Race” vehemently opposes cooperative immigration enforcement efforts between local, state, and federal authorities.

12. “The Race” opposes a secure fence on the southern border.

11. “The Race” joined the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee in a failed lawsuit attempt to prevent the feds from entering immigration information into a key national crime database–and to prevent local police officers from accessing the data.

Sneaky old fart! - McCain on immigration reform: “I’m glad I did it”

From Hot Air, if dude is elected he will fuck us on immigration I guarantee it!

This election is like being stuck between two gun barrels and having to decide which one you want to be shot with, the big gun that will explode your head like a cantaloupe quick death or the smaller less frightening looking gun the one that may not kill you right away exposing you to long term suffering.
Gruesome shit huh? Well that is the 2008 election in a nutshell!

Via Byron York. We know he’s planning to revisit the issue — the day after he’s inaugurated, no less — but the lack of remorse is news to me. What happened to that “lesson” he supposedly learned about securing the border first?

College betting is obviously an interstate commerce issue
(So Nevada should not have the right to have sports betting?)

The issue has been dead for years

(Despite your efforts, and I thought you were running on effectiveness, so how can it be dead?)

I haven’t won on every issue. I didn’t win on immigration reform, but I’ll go back at it. And I’m glad I did it.

Illegal immigration and identity theft

Monday, May 19th, 2008

72.jpg
Found on Fausta’s Blog

A couple of years ago I watched a report on Univision or Telemundo (I forget which at this point) where the reporter interviewed a woman, an illegal alien from a Central American country. The woman, who apparently was not employed, lived in a grand style. She was youngish (late twenties - early thirties?) and good looking, nicely dressed. Her apartment looked like something out of the Pottery Barn catalogue. When asked about how did she earn the money for living in such style, she actually stated that she had done it by charging it to stolen credit cards. She felt that she was owned that lifestyle and had every right to take was she felt was her due.

By the time the report was over I was furious. There had to be hundreds like her. Unfortunately I didn’t have the time or resources to investigate.

Steven Malanga, however, has been looking into the issue and has an excellent article at City Journal, Illegal in More Ways than One
Identity theft in America goes hand and hand with illegal immigration
(emphasis added):

As everyone knows, America is experiencing an epidemic of identity theft. In the last five years alone, complaints to the Federal Trade Commission from U.S. residents who have had their identity stolen have skyrocketed 60 percent, to 258,427 in 2007- one-third of all consumer fraud complaints that the commission receives. What’s less well understood, however, is how illegal immigration is helping to fuel this rash of crime. Seeking access to jobs, credit, and driver’s licenses, many undocumented aliens are using the personal data of real Americans on forged documents. The immigrants’ identity theft has become so pervasive that the need to combat it is “a disturbing front in the war against illegal immigration,” according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Top 10 reasons McCain should repudiate (but we know he won’t) the National Council of La Raza

Friday, May 9th, 2008

laraza1.jpg
From Michelle Malkin

I told you yesterday about John McCain’s plans to speak to the National Council of La Raza (The Race) in July. Here are the top 10 reasons he should repudiate the radical open borders, speech-squelching group that he has long embraced:10. La Raza supports driver’s licenses for illegal aliens.

9. La Raza supports in-state tuition discounts for illegal alien students that are not available to law-abiding US citizens and law-abiding legal immigrants.

8. La Raza opposes cooperative immigration enforcement efforts between local, state, and federal authorities.

7. La Raza sponsors militant ethnic nationalist charter schools subsidized by your public tax dollars, including the “Aztlan Academy” in Tucson, AZ, the Mexicayotl Academy in Nogales, AZ, and Academia Cesar Chavez Charter School in St. Paul, Minn.

6. La Raza gives mainstream cover to a poisonous subset of ideological satellites, led by Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA), which the late GOP Rep. Charlie Norwood rightly characterized as “a radical racist group…[and] one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a racist nation out of the American West.”

5. La Raza opposes a secure fence on the southern border.

4. Former La Raza president Raul Yzaguirre, Hillary Clinton’s Hispanic outreach advisor said this:

“US English is to Hispanics as the Ku Klux Klan is to blacks.” He was referring to US English the nation’s oldest, largest citizens’ action group dedicated to preserving the unifying role of the English language in the United States.

What happened to the La Raza/The Race earmark?

Friday, May 9th, 2008
Here’s an update on the La Raza/The Race $25 million earmark that had been tucked into Barney Frank’s massive housing bailout bill. (Previous coverage here and here.)

It was stripped out of the final version of the bill that passed the House yesterday. But that doesn’t mean they won’t get their money:

The original bill directed $100 million to four community groups, including $25 million each for housing programs run by the National Council of La Raza and the Urban League. Republicans balked, saying the money was meant to help Democrats in an election year.

The language was stripped out before the bill came to the floor. But La Raza, the Urban League and scores of community organizations are still in line for housing-development money, plus $230 million for the remainder of this year and another $230 million for fiscal 2009 for mortgage counseling.

“It’s a political-ally slush fund,” said Rep. Jeb Hensarling, (R., Texas), chairman of the conservative Republican Study Committee, which opposed the package.

As I’ve reported previously, the left-wing mortgage counseling racket is and will continue to be well-funded by the Dems while Republicans sit back and do nothing.

Top federal prosecutor in NJ: “Being undocumented not a crime!”

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

JACKASS!

(link) DOVER, N.J. - New Jersey’s top federal prosecutor told a Latino group it’s a civil offense _ not a crime _ for immigrants to live in the country without proper documentation, a comment that a spokesman later said was aimed at a narrowly worded question.U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie, widely considered to be a leading GOP contender for governor next year, spoke Sunday in response to a question on illegal immigration at an open forum that grew heated. He said living in the U.S. without immigration paperwork is “an administrative matter” that federal immigration officials are supposed to address through deportation.

“Don’t let people make you believe that that’s a crime that the U.S. attorney’s office should be doing something about,” Christie was quoted as saying in The Star-Ledger of Newark for Monday editions. “It is not.”

Christie stressed that lacking immigration documents is not a crime unless the person was previously deported.

Critics quickly categorized Christie’s remarks as soft on illegal immigration.

In a statement clarifying the remarks, Christie spokesman Michael Drewniak said that although lacking documents is not necessarily a crime in itself, it is a federal misdemeanor to enter the country without going through the proper immigration channels, or to enter by using fraudulent documents.

Christie “did not say, nor did he mean, that entering this country through any means other than the appropriate immigration channels is a lawful act. It is not,” Drewniak said in a statement.

An immigrant could be in the country illegally without making an illegal entry or using fraudulent documents if he or she overstayed a visa.

Christie, who was appointed by President Bush in 2001, made the remarks during a community forum organized by the Latino Leadership Alliance of New Jersey.

He told the audience it doesn’t take a “genius” to see there’s a serious immigration problem in this country and that the U.S. needs tighter border security.

“If there are people out there committing crimes, they should be dealt with,” he said. “If there are undocumented people running around, then Immigration and Customs Enforcement should do their jobs.”

Edward Correa, a member of the Latino Leadership Alliance, said the dozens of people who attended Christie’s speech had a mixed reaction to his comments.

In 2005, U.S. Rep. James Sensenbrenner introduced legislation to criminalize any undocumented status. Though the attempt was unsuccessful, it triggered massive pro-immigrant marches across the nation.

The racial crimes the Left doesn’t want to talk about

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

This is an old post from October 07. Because of the Jamiel’s Law issue I thought I would recycle FYI.

From Michelle Malkin

Innocent black Americans are being harassed, driven out of their neighborhoods, and targeted for murder. Why isn’t it on the front page of every national newspaper? Why isn’t CNN doing special documentaries? Why aren’t Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton up in arms?

Because the perpetrators are illegal alien Latino gangs. Doesn’t fit the old white vs. black narrative.

Via the Los Angeles Times

Federal prosecutors today charged members of the Latino Florencia 13 street gang with racially motivated crimes against African Americans, including several attempted homicides.Authorities said the gang specifically tried to eliminate rival African American gangs in South L.A. and the Florence-Firestone area in an effort to “cleanse” the neighborhood. In doing so, they mistakenly harassed and attacked innocent African American residents, according to the indictment.

More than 60 members and associates of the Florencia 13 street gang were charged with federal racketeering and drug charges.

“In their attempt to intimidate African Americans in the community, they targeted innocent citizens,” U.S. Attorney Thomas P. O’Brien said.

O’Brien said the arrests were the result of a nearly three-year investigation into the gang that culminated in federal indictments at the end of the summer.

The arrests come as both local and federal officials have launched a crackdown on race-motivated gang crime across L.A. Authorities have already filed charges against a different Latino gang in the Harbor Gateway area accused of crimes against African Americans, including the slaying of a teenage girl last year.

Fear of a Black - Brown Race War in Los Angeles

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

flag1.jpgThis from the blog ThugLifeArmy.com

While law enforcement, politicians and community activists spar over whether recent gang-related shootings should be officially classified as race-related and investigated as hate crimes, community and peace activists say tensions between Blacks and Latinos continue to escalate, building anger, distrust and above all, feeding right into the hands of a common enemy of both communities.

Call to arms among Blacks?

Dr. Hutchinson told The Final Call that the push for hate crime charges and investigations are rooted in a proven history of Latino gangs, such as Harbor Gateway’s 204th Street gang, targeting Blacks, like 14-year-old Cheryl Green, fatally shot while she was playing with friends, and the broad daylight shooting of Lavareay Elzy. The shooters could see they were targeting a child and 17-year-old Jamiel Shaw, a football star with no gang affiliation, fr-mara-390-2.jpgwas also killed.

Scoobey da Pharaoh, of the Rolling 40s Westside Crips, which has forged peace through stand-downs with four other street gangs, is a gang interventionist of Panamanian and Colombian ancestry. He believes it is a serious error to call for hate crime charges in recent shootings. He is also concerned about rumors that Black youth are being encouraged to carry guns to protect themselves.

Jamiel’s Law: The revolt against L.A.’s illegal alien sanctuary policy

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

1y.jpg

From Michelle Malkin

Law-abiding citizens of all colors are uniting against the targeting of innocent black residents of Los Angeles by illegal alien gangs. The parents of murdered high school student Jamiel Shaw met with L.A. public officials yesterday, urging them to rescind the city’s notorious Special Order 40–one of the nation’s oldest illegal alien sanctuary laws. Enough is enough:

The parents of Jamiel Shaw Jr., a high school football star who was gunned down by a reputed gang member just blocks from his home, urged Los Angeles city leaders today to go after criminals who are in the country illegally.

Pedro Espinoza, 19, allegedly shot and killed the 17-year-old Los Angeles High School student on March 2 in the 2100 block of Fifth Avenue, not far from the Shaw family’s Arlington Heights home. According to police, the shooting occurred one day after Espinoza was released from county jail, where he was serving time for assault with a deadly weapon.

U.S. immigration officials believe Espinoza, a member of the 18th Street gang, may have been in the country illegally.

“We have a problem with the system. My son was murdered by someone that was here illegally. No matter how you look at it, that’s what happened,” Jamiel Shaw Sr. told reporters before entering the Los Angeles City Council chamber.

Authorities do not know why Espinoza was not detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement upon his release from the county jail.

The key to taking Texas appears to be luring Latinos, who make up a sizable portion of registered voters in the state. And few regions in Texas have a higher percentage of Hispanics than the Lower Rio Grande Valley, where 89 percent of the 1.2 million residents are Latino, according to the latest census data. There are 494,000 registered voters in this four-county area of South Texas.

Clinton hopes to repeat in Texas her success on Super Tuesday, when she received the support of more than 60 percent of Hispanic voters, including 67 percent in California.

bushmexico.jpgFrom Michelle Malkin - Another reason why I need to stop reading the news/blogs because I read more and more shit like this that just pisses me the hell off!

****

A reader asked me to check into information that President Bush was pushing a massive foreign-aid package to Mexico to help them secure their southern border against the flow of illegal aliens from Central America.“We can’t even get our own border straight, and we are going to provide Mexico with funding so they can solve their problem,” the reader fumed. “I doubt the Central Americans are staying very long in Mexico anyway. We know where they are going!”

Too outrageously outrageous to be true?

Well, I checked it out and it’s even worse than the reader described. Far worse.

The plan is called “The Merida Initiative.” Seems that the White House has had this plan in the works for nearly a year with little congressional input on either side of the border.

Stop Illegal Immigration NOW Or Immigrants Will Soon Out Vote You

Tuesday, February 5th, 2008

2.jpgThis post is from Stop the ACLU, by Warner Todd Huston

I have a neighbor named George. He and his family have been great neighbors. We’ve exchanged gifts, attended parties together, helped each other out from time to time with one thing or another. Our kids have been friends. I like them all. They’re really great folks. However, all but the father and one son out of a family of six are illegal immigrants by way of Mexico.

Last year, two of their sons got caught up by immigration and sent back to Mexico. George’s wife moved back to Mexico to be with her sons. George stays here with the eldest boy and their daughter. He works hard and misses his wife. Of course, she cannot come back because she was never a legal resident and has no papers.

It’s all a terribly rotten situation for George and his family and I know that I would be highly upset were I in his situation. But, his situation is not unlike that of millions of other families that have a mixture of legal and illegal members living in the U.S.

And therein lies a problem. Yes it is a problem for them, but it is also a problem for anyone interested in stricter border control and enforcing current immigration laws or creating new ones. And it is a problem that looms larger every single day. It is a problem that is born of our own democratic system: Voting.

You see, once a Mexican national (or other immigrant) becomes a legal, voting resident he comes to have his fair, democratic say in the process. Ordinarily, it is a fine thing that a new citizen exercises his newfound duty to become a voter as a new member of our society. But, in this case, if that new voter has illegal immigrant family members, he comes to the polls with a built in prejudice against U.S. sovereignty and border control.

In essence, when asking a newly legalized U.S. citizen to vote on tougher immigration laws, we would be asking him to vote to allow his mother, father, sister or brother to be deported. By asking for this new voter to vote on stricter border laws, we are making it tougher for his extended family, should they be illegals, to visit and work here.

Another Deported Illegal Alien Inflicts Mayhem on Arizona

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

mexicoboy.jpg

From Moonbattery

Lacking a functioning government to defend them from foreign incursions, American citizens are literally under siege:

A felony conviction and subsequent deportation didn’t stop Manuel Enrique Morales from crossing the border to return to Mesa, where police allege he and others terrorized victims with an assault rifle in a series of home invasions.

This is hardly unusual. In neighboring Chandler, Arizona, serial rapist Santana Batiz Aceves was finally caught recently. He preyed on children in their homes, and had been deported twice. Erik Jovani Martinez was deported the year before he shot and killed police officer Nick Erfle in Phoenix last September.

This time Morales will sit in jail for awhile. When he gets out, he’ll be deported. Soon afterwards, he’ll be back in the US with his assault rifle or whatever else he cares to bring across the unguarded border.

But Lettuce McCain and the Democrat candidates aren’t too worried about it; they have plenty of heavily armed security.

Huckabee Misleading Mailing on Immigration

Huckabee Misleading Mailing on Immigration
huckmin.jpg

While Minuteman Founder Gilchrist has endorsed Huckabee, the Minutemen who are actually building the border fence and manning border outposts has NOT! Confused?

Via Marc Ambinder, here’s the press release from the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps:

Real Minutemen Do Not Endorse Huckabee.

No National Minuteman Group has endorsed Mike Huckabee.
One individual Minuteman has personally endorsed him.

For the sake of clarity, it is important to note that the Minuteman
Civil Defense Corps (MCDC), the nation’s largest Minuteman organization,
is a 501(C)4 non-profit organization and cannot and does not endorse any
candidate for public office. MCDC is not associated with Mr. Jim
Gilchrist, who today endorsed Mike Huckabee for president.

Jim Gilchrist’s erstwhile Minuteman Project is itself an organization
which by its own representations as a non-profit civic group cannot
legally endorse candidates. It does not have any volunteers who observe
illegal border activity. It has no border fence building projects. Jim
Gilchrist here speaks only for Jim Gilchrist, he does not speak for the
Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, nor is he nationally representative of
most patriots in the “Minuteman movement” – who under no circumstances
could ignore the failed record nor endorse the duplicitous “plan”
recently rolled out by candidate Mike Huckabee. The national media needs
to recognize that Jim Gilchrist’s endorsement is his own personal
statement, nothing more.

This story also on Mike’s America Blog

In case you people forgot: Legality of Huckabee’s Mexican consulate deal questioned: Critics say Arkansas citizens, businesses financed office to draw illegal workers - Story Link

Financial inducements arranged by former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee to establish a Mexican consular office in Little Rock may have violated state law, according to an Arkansas attorney.
As WND reported yesterday, critics in Arkansas charge Huckabee, who lately has enjoyed a surge in his bid for the Republican presidential nomination, worked with some of the state’s most prominent and politically powerful businesses to establish the consulate as a magnet for drawing illegal immigrants to the state to accept low-paying jobs.Huckabee, in an interview with WND, strongly denied the allegations.

Arkansas attorney Chip Sexton provided WND a written legal brief arguing the state government’s sublease to Mexico of office space for the consulate was illegal under Arkansas law. Sexton contended the deal raised questions about the appropriateness of private citizens and corporations in Arkansas providing financial incentives for the government of Mexico to locate a consulate office in Little Rock.

I know, I know, you people don’t care about this shit. Huckabee is a “conservative” man of God…

Last night’s Republican Univision debate

Monday, December 10th, 2007

illegals10.jpgThis line is from Hawkins on Right Wing News

Now, some people may pan them for participating in a Spanish language debate, but I’m not one of them. To the contrary, I believe that we need to take every opportunity to show Hispanics that although we are dead serious about illegal immigration, the Democrats are wrong about our being anti-Hispanic. Just by showing up last night and saying the same things they always do, our candidates helped send that message.

Tom Tancredo boycotted the debate, accusing his rivals of “pandering” to the Hispanic community.

C’mon fellow Neo-Cons, is there any other blogger on the right who thinks this way?
I fucken hope not, ok then why did the top Republicans skip the Negro debates?

I’ll wait… for a coherent answer…..(cricket sounds)

Pandering to Mexicans is perfectly ok, but “pandering” to Negros is not.
We love Mexicans but I loathe those Niggas, plez.

Tancredo is 100 percent correct; pandering to a group of Mexican folks like little bitches who you know are not voting for their asses anyway is just asinine.

QUESTION: “a survey from Los Angeles Times that said that 60 percent of the voters in the United States think that — they are in favor of granting legal status to undocumented aliens”

L.A. Times survey? Now you know damm well this is a bunch of crap, Mexicans run L.A, and they dominate the job market, just stick the Mexican flag on top of city hall.

Take that survey in Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Montana, the Dakotas.

Again like I said in the Rudy post, the Republican Party is fucked, because the party is now relegated to compromising what the party stands for. Not to mention the fact that this current crop of RINO’s are redefining conservatism.

This just pisses me off big time.

More lies of the open border fanatics exposed,

Would-be immigrants may be staying home in significant numbers, a Mexican government survey says, a trend that analysts on Tuesday attributed to a crackdown on illegal border crossers, raids at employment sites and a slowing U.S. economy, particularly in the construction industry. The coyotes [immigrant smugglers] are too expensive, the crossing is more dangerous than ever and the hatred is scary,” said Mr. Reyes, who sent money to his parents in Chihuahua City to start a ranch. “The gringos will have a hard time without our cheap labor. I think they will see through their own hypocrisy.”

Santiago Crespo, 28, stopped in Santa Teresa, N.M., on Tuesday while on his way to Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato, in central Mexico.

He and his three buddies, all traveling from Denver, where they worked picking crops, planned to drive 14 hours straight to their hometown.

None planned on returning to the U.S. next year.

“The employers are asking for Social Security numbers, proof of ID, stuff they know we don’t have,” Mr. Crespo said. “I could get some fake papers, but when you don’t feel welcome anymore, why return to a place where they close the door on you?”

I love being called “gringo” by an angry, poor, stupid illegal immigrant! That makes my day, so thank you sir!

Remember, we can’t deport 12 million!

As much as Mexico’s politicians stress that the dangerous trek across this expanse to slip across the American border is a pursuit of the American dream, they’ve paid no attention to Mexicans’ dreams.

Because for every Mexican who spends a season or more a world away from his family just to send home needed cash, there is a broken dream back home. Hillary’s Chief Strategist: Illegal Immigrants And Their Relatives May be ‘Most Powerful Political Force’ in America

Tuesday, October 9th, 2007

laprotesta.jpgFrom National Review

Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s chief strategist, Mark Penn, told a British magazine last week that illegal immigrants “may be the most powerful political force in the country.”In an interview with The Spectator magazine, Penn said, “The most powerful political force in [America], and the most important voting bloc in the upcoming elections, may not even be able to vote — but their cousins can. And that may make all the difference.’Interviewer Matthew d’Ancona also noted, ‘the radicalisation of illegal migrants to America, Penn thinks, could determine the next presidential election because their grievances will encourage their legally settled relatives to register and vote.”

In his recent book, Microtrends, Penn wrote:

Just look at what has happened in the U.S. to illegal immigrants. A few years ago, they were the forgotten Americans, hiding from daylight and the authorities. Today they are holding political rallies, and given where they and their legal, voting relatives live, they may turn out to be the new Soccer Moms. Militant immigrants fed up with a broken immigration system just may be the most important voters in the next presidential election, distributed in the key Southwest states that are becoming the new battleground areas.

Penn’s client, Hillary Clinton, has courted this demographic since the beginning of her campaign. In a recent interview with Hispanic Trending, Clinton said, “when I’m President, I will work to pass immigration reform that honors our history as both a nation of immigrants and a nation of laws, and that includes a path to legalization.”As a senator, Clinton denounced past efforts to crack down on illegal immigration.

In 2006, she criticized a House Republican bill that would have imposed harsher penalties for undocumented workers, charging that some Republicans were trying to create a “police state” to round up illegal immigrants. She later charged that the bill would “criminalize the Good Samaritan and probably even Jesus himself,” using that line again in a debate sponsored by the Spanish-language channel Univision in September.

In that debate, she said, “[the issue] is being demagogued, and I believe that it is being used to bash immigrants, and that must stop. The Republican candidates need to understand that they are doing a great disservice to our country.” A spokesman for Mrs. Clinton told the New York Times after the debate that she was referring to the CNN anchor Lou Dobbs and the radio host Rush Limbaugh, among others.

She also said she supports “border security” and “in some cases a physical border.”

Mark Kirkorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, a group which staunchly opposes illegal immigration, has some doubts about the political potency of illegal immigrants’ relatives. He pointed to the short-lived impact of marches in the past two years, and two separate mobilizations this year against comprehensive immigration plans that opponents said amounted to amnesty.

As to the presidential election being determined by the political mobilization of Hispanic citizens, Kirkorian says, “it could happen if the electoral vote count is close enough, but it can only make a difference at the margins, since all Hispanics, of recent immigrant origin or not, will account for only a little more than 6 percent of the vote. The problem for Penn is that meeting the demands of the elites who claim to speak for immigrants —amnesty for illegals, ever-looser enforcement, increased legal immigration — holds the real potential to radicalize Americans, making immigration a much higher-saliency issue than it usually is — and that’s not a micro-trend.”

The Clinton campaign has not replied to a Friday request for elaboration on Penn’s remark.

Budweiser Reaches Out to Horny Hispanics

Monday, October 1st, 2007

Found on Moonbattery, amazing!

Apparently crude racial remarks can still be okay, even after Imus. Check out this Denver billboardbudweiser-billboard.jpg

Toning down the abusive racial epithet “güera,” a translation would be “As good as the white woman checking you out.”

But when it comes to unseemly attempts to pander to Hispanics, Budweiser still hasn’t caught up to Miller.

Hat tip: Slapstick Politics.

La Raza Hispanic Activists More Desirable Than Patriot Minutemen in “Missouri”

Tuesday, September 4th, 2007

Found this on the blog Conservative Crusader

The individual who writes this story inadvertently attaches Kansas in referring to this Kansas City, Missouri problem.
For the publicly educated Miss South Carolina types of the world out there is a Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri.
Kansas already does a fine job of fucking up its own reputation with its share of local misfits on both sides of the political aisle. So I thought I had to address.

laraza2.jpgWhich would you find more desirable in your community: a group that advocates to abide by U.S. law, or one that advocates to break U.S. law? Well, leave it to an American newspaper to present a story as if a member of a group that advocates for America is a less desirable person in the community than a member of a group that promotes ideas against America. In a story on the La Raza Council’s threat to move their annual convention out of Kansas City, Missouri, the Kansas City Star has labeled the patriot group The Minutemen a “militant group” but nowhere is there harsh labels in their story for La Raza, the Hispanic illegal immigrant advocates. In fact, La Raza is treated like a completely respectable organization throughout the story with the Minutemen treated as if they should be something to be ashamed of.In June, Kansas City mayor Mark Funkhouser appointed Minuteman Civil Defense member Frances Semler to the Kansas City park board and this has caused the illegal immigrant advocates to threaten to take their convention business elsewhere.

The nation’s largest Hispanic rights group is warning it may cancel its 2009 convention here because of a controversial Kansas City park board member.

As it turns out, this park board member is “controversial” because she wants Federal immigration laws enforced.

The story goes on to call the patriot organization, The Minutemen, a “militant group opposing illegal immigration” and warns that the city would lose up to $15 million in business (coupled with the NAACP pulling their convention, as well) should the La Raza folks pull their convention out of Kansas City. The story gives the La Raza group quite a bit of space to act wounded and regretful that they have to leave the city… unless they are successful in forcing a Missourian legally appointed to a city board to resign.

Al Sharpton and Wal-Mart: Open-borders buddies

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

From Michelle Malkin

The nation’s biggest racial demagogue and the nation’s biggest employer joined hands at the National Council of La Raza’s annual conference to push for another shamnesty bill. AP reports:

The Rev. Al Sharpton and Wal-Mart CEO Lee Scott became unlikely allies Tuesday in their call to revive immigration legislation, in speeches before the nation’s largest Hispanic civil rights organization. “Congress needs to pass a comprehensive immigration reform bill now,” said Scott, who heads the world’s largest retailer.

Scott attributed his views in part to his Mexican-American granddaughter, who has helped him to understand immigration as more than “simply a cerebral exercise.”

Read the rest here, but hold on….

I thought people like poverty pimp Al Sharpton represented the interest of Negro folks?
Illegal immigration hurts blacks, particularly poor blacks more than any other racial demographic. Sharpton obviously dismisses this notion. Oh well, a few more unemployed black folks as a result of illegal immigrants won’t matter.

Let’s see black unemployment is around 10.5 percent and increasing.
Factoring in education, in 2000, 65 percent of black male high school dropouts in their 20’s were jobless that is, unable to find work, not seeking it or incarcerated. By 2004, the share had grown to 72 percent, compared with 34 percent of white and 19 percent of Hispanic dropouts. Even when high school graduates were included, half of black men in their 20’s were jobless in 2004, up from 46 percent in 2000.

There is furious debate amongst blacks over the economic impact that the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. have on the job market.
I have read many articles by black intellectual types stating that there is no concrete evidence that employers hire Latinos at low-end jobs and exclude blacks from them solely because of their race.
However after being in Los Angeles I frankly think that is bullshit.

These same black intellectuals also state that many blacks will no longer work the low skilled, menial factory, restaurant, and custodial jobs that in decades past they filled. The pay is too low, the work too hard, and the indignities too great. I guess being poor, broke and jobless is preferable.

Now employers vehemently deny that they shun blacks, and maintain that blacks don’t apply for these jobs; I find that hard to believe.
I frankly don’t get why these sellout black folks are so protective of illegal immigrants.
The only thing I can think of is in order to maintain their political slave master relationship with the Democratic Party, black misery must be tied to Republicans, Bush, or tax cuts for the rich.

Let me tell you, growing up in Oakland this culture and job clash was a problem back then. Mexicans and blacks don’t like each other, so any perceived “collaboration” between black folks and the illegal Mexican lobbyists types are just a political smoke screen.

This is an old You Tube clip showing this lady who owns a landscaping business and saying that half of her workforce is made up of illegal immigrants.

The no so subtle message from people like this lady who says her jobs are “too hard for most people” is that blacks won’t be hired, even if they do apply. “You niggas are just too lazy.”
Let’s get real; an entire category of jobs at the bottom rung of American industry has been clearly marked as “Latino only” jobs. Further evidence that illegal immigration (cheep labor) increases the economic misery of poor blacks.

However, Democrats will argue, no problem give the Mexicans the low paying jobs and we will simply increase welfare perks for you Negros who prefer to stay at home and watch courtroom shows all day. It’s the least we can do for you Negros as long as you continue voting Democrat.

Blacks in Los Angeles Rise Up Against Illegal Immigration

Friday, June 29th, 2007

I found this You Tube clip of a recent protest in Los Angeles protesting illegal immigration. I wish I would have know while I was there I would have marched as well. I posted on the very thing talked about in the clip (Mexicans Rule Cali, your town is next)
The Senate Amnesty bill was shot down this time but the issue will rise again and black folks better start speaking up or they are screwed.

You can view more video at the You Tube profile American Resolve
