Planet Obama - What would happen if the entire world could vote in our election? One guess

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

Folks I read a lot of stuff on the internet. I venture to dozens of blogs both left leaning and right leaning as well as countless news sites.
I’ve seen my share of editorials and I have absorbed a number of anti-Republican, anti-Bush, and anti-conservative rhetoric nonsense over the years.

However this post by Mark Morford, SF Gate Columnist, has to be the dumbest most ridiculously insane liberal psychobabble crap articles, post, editorial whatever I have ever read. I said fuck it, I have to post the entire thing, and the Chronicle can kiss my black ass.
Y’all need to read this stupid shit and it needs to be front and center.

It is idiot shit like this that should make folks sit up and take notice. It is this kind of moronic lunacy that this country is 10worldtour.jpgheaded for if some of you people decided to sit on your asses and say ah fuck it let the nice Negro have the keys to the country what harm can he do.

Several months ago I might have simply laughed off this article and said “lookie there kooky liberal ain’t he cute.” This retarded shit is not cute any more; these fucken crazy ass people are dead serious.

Yes I know that people from San Francisco tend to be more prone to intellectual dementia because of heavy drug use and the fungal bacteria from the excess moisture on those foggy mid summer days, but remember fearless leaders Pelosi would love to have moonbat foreigners crown Lord Hussein as supreme world leader if it means idiot Democrats can seize control.

This seemingly harmless bit of liberal tard propaganda works well on the deranged and the weak minded types typically found at anti-war rallies and Code Pink marijuana brownie tasting parties.

Don’t take this retarded blathering for granted. It is right in line with liberals anticipating riots if Obama is not elected, to the grossly inflated poll numbers prompting some to declare that an Obama political landslide is eminent.

Keep on you toes folks, the moonbats want this one real bad. Bad enough to suggest that foreigners should have a say in how our country is governed.

ARTICLE LINK

The entire world is, apparently, full of whiny no-good commie liberals.

It’s true. This is the only logical conclusion, the only way you can possibly parse the piles of (largely unscientific, but still pretty damn convincing) numbers and data and full-blown emotional consciousness now pouring in from all over the world, pumping our little presidential election full of all sorts of cosmic meaning and profundity and oh-my-God-can-it-be-true.obama-berlin.jpg

Check that: Maybe it’s not the only way to parse it. But if you’re a hard-core McCainite and/or are under some sort of unfortunate, chemically-induced delusion that Sarah Palin is just exactly the sort of dangerously harebrained, folksy, winking, nonsensical political confection we all really need right now, well, you might be more than a bit peeved to learn that the entire world has already cast its vote for our next president.

And of course, the world wants Obama.

Overwhelmingly. Crushingly. Rather staggeringly. By quite possibly the largest margin you will see anywhere except maybe Hawaii and D.C. and, well, San Francisco.

Did you already suspect? Could you not already guess? Because despite how here at home Obama is pulling nicely ahead by anywhere from five to 10 points almost across the board, we still call that a relatively close race. It’s still “anybody’s game,” with both candidates currently whipping the battleground states into a frenzy and spending millions in a mad-dash sprint to an extraordinary finish.

The rest of the world? Not quite so divided. Not by a long shot.

Just look. Over at The Economist, they put together a rather ingenious tool, this Global Electoral College tracker thing, wherein we can ask, well, exactly that: What would happen if the nations of the world were divvied up in a way similar to our electoral college, with each nation getting a certain number of votes based on population? How might the world choose? Whom would they pick?

You might think the answer fairly obvious, given how many nations have been so violently insulted and ignored for the past eight solid years, and that the world’s current shocking fiscal meltdown can, at least in part, be traced directly to Bush administration incompetence. It’s no stretch at all to see McCain as merely a clone, more of the toxic, poisonous same, if not worse.

But come on, it can’t be that much of a global landslide, right? Surely there must be some stiff, stoic nations out there who’d want a grumpy, tempestuous military man to lead the U.S., if only to have someone to play with in the grand sandbox of war and intolerance and oily greed?

Is there really no military junta, no dictator, no incensed bomb-gathering nation that really wants McCain, if only for the joy of mutual saber-rattling and for refreezing the Cold War? Putin fanatics? Tories? Papal knaves? Anyone?

Nope.

McCain gets Georgia (of course). And maybe Macedonia. Slovakia is relatively close, but leaning Obama. And, well, that’s about it. At last tally, of the 9,875 available global electoral votes (195 participating nations, including the U.S.), Obama has 8,482.

McCain has 16.

It is not even a contest. It is not a question. The world sentiment is so devastatingly in favor of the calm, stable, intellectual Harvard-trained senator over the cantankerous Bush-loving war hawk that, well, it can only make you wonder.

Is the planet simply turning into one giant blue state, more tolerant and fluid and less combative overall, more eager to work together to solve the myriad problems facing humanity, as opposed to fracturing off into bitter, fear-promoting rogue nations? Or was the world leaning that way already, and we’ve had these blinders on for so long we forgot how to see it?

Or maybe the conservative political parties in these nations, the ones you’d expect to support McCain’s style of isolationist, military-first governance, have become just as splintered and out-of-touch as our own, and therefore can’t muster enough unity to cast a vote for a fellow old-school war hawk?

Or is it merely because all those educated international readers of The Economist — not to mention all the other international newspapers of note, nearly all of whom see Obama as a historic, positive step, a true world-changer — are really just a bunch of namby-pamby gay-loving tofu heads who should put down the pot pipe and pick up a Bible and a gun?

Wait: Perhaps it’s something even more frightening and nefarious. Maybe the world wants Obama simply because they see him as weak and conciliatory, as easy prey, and so of course the perverted, terrorist-choked world wants him, because then they can more easily bomb our cities and steal our women and drink our oil and force us to marry gay people and enjoy universal health care and drive girly little hybrid Eurocars to the soccer game.

Whoops. Channeling Rush Limbaugh for a horrible second there. Sorry.

I realize, at first glance, this entire question might be just ridiculously lopsided, a bit loaded, sort of like asking the world if they would like another presidential term for, say, Iran’s Ahmadinejad, an extremist demagogue widely ignored and scoffed at by his own citizenry, but who makes headlines by catering to his militant, fundamentalist base. Hmm. How oddly familiar that sounds.

Then again, the truth about this global sentiment might be even more obvious, compelling, simple. It’s a truth in two parts:

obamashieldtemple.jpgOne: No matter where you live, no matter which nation you hail from or to which political ideology you tend to adhere, the Bush/McCain approach to leadership — belligerent, militaristic, religiously closed-minded, culturally stagnant, environmentally reckless, fiscally irresponsible — has resulted in one of the most epic collapses of a world power in modern history, which in turn has made the rest of the world a more volatile, hostile place for all.

Two: Maybe it’s the Impossible Thing. Maybe Barack Obama himself, while still only a politician, still flawed and human and not, in fact, a demigod, maybe this man really is capable of inspiring not just intelligent progressives, not merely normally apathetic youth, not merely women and minorities and academics and moderates and a jaded, wary media, but the entire unpredictable, contorted, diverse planet.

In other words, maybe he really does have something profoundly important, something rare and exceptional, to offer the world, and the world — like the majority of us here at home — recognizes a once-in-a-lifetime shot at enriching its destiny when it sees one.

Have I mentioned that I REALLY hate Obama, and this kind of propaganda shit using children just fucken drive me nuts!

Here’s a partial list of those who helped produce this bullshit:

  • Jeff Zucker — American television executive, and President & CEO of NBC Universal.
  • Post-producer (former choreographer?) Holly Shiffer.
  • Motion picture camera operator/steadicam specialist Peter Rosenfeld (appropriately enough, worked in “Yes Man,” a movie about ” a guy challenges himself to say ‘yes’ to everything for an entire year.”
  • Darin Moran, another motion picture industry professional, who just finished filming — how appropriate — Land of the Lost.
  • Andy Blumenthal, Hollywood film editor.

Obama Friends and Mentors Watch – Valerie Jarrett

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

Was over checking out the blog The Real Barack Obama and saw a short post about this lady Valerie Jarrett. I had not heard her name before so I checked out a few other links and did some Google University research on this chick, some very interesting stuff.

Remember in the O’Reilly interview when Obama said “I have thousands of friends”
After reading this stuff I’m thinking damm does dude have ONE friend who is not a corrupt, tax stealing, slum lording, terrorist pimping, socialist idiot, anti-American whatever!

Latest: Lehman Brothers: Obama’s Rezko-Auchi conflict of interest

I don’t understand this shit, I use to think that Bill and Hillary ran with a set of questionable folks but damm near everyone in Obama’s past has some sort of issues.

Valerie Jarrett is, a part of the corrupt Chicago machine, and a slumlord. A slumlord who received substantial subsidies from the taxpayers of Illinois and the United States.

jarrett.JPG
By The Prowler on The American Spectator Published 8/26/2008 One advantage of a big, media-focused convention is that so many shadowy campaign “insiders” seek the spotlight. In Denver, one of Sen. Barack Obama’s closest advisers has been making the media rounds: Valerie Jarrett. Jarrett has been part of Obama’s inner circle since his days as an Illinois state senator. She identifies herself as a Chicago businesswoman, but according to Obama campaign advisers, she is much more than that.

She is Iranian-American, for one thing, and the Obama campaign has sought to keep her ties to Iran from press views, as it has also sought to keep her political background and deep and tangled business and personal relationship to the Obama family from sight. For example, while it’s true that Jarrett is a business executive, she also has been a well-known political operative for Chicago Democrats back to her days working in the background as an adviser to late Chicago mayor Harold Washington, as well as the Daley family.

“She knows where are all the bodies have been buried in the past 30 or so years of Chicago politics and she knows all the tricks,” says one longtime Democrat political consultant in Chicago. “If Obama had a political and financial godmother, it would be Valerie.”

Jarrett, according to friends, gave Michelle Obama professional advice before she married Obama, and helped her with jobs. But more important, say Chicago Democrats who know Jarrett and Obama’s history, and why the Obama campaign has desperately sought to keep Jarrett’s role in the campaign under wraps, Jarrett may be to Obama what James McDougal was to Bill and Hillary Clinton. McDougall, a central figure in the Clinton’s Whitewater Scandal, gave the Clintons the financial wherewithal to raise their national political visibility. “Jarrett has done that for Barack and Michelle three or four times over,” says one insider, noting that Jarrett served as the CEO of a housing development company.

And Obama has returned the favor:

Jarrett is the chief executive of Habitat Co., which developed and managed large housing projects in and around Chicago — and in Obama’s state legislative district — that were subsidized by federal and state housing dollars, and which were ultimately seized by federal authorities for what were unlivable conditions. While overseeing the company that managed these housing facilities, Jarrett also worked with long-time Obama friend and convicted felon Tony Rezko in raising money for Obama’s political career.

Obama campaign advisers have sought to have Jarrett fully vetted by the campaign to prepare for opposition research from the McCain campaign, fearing that she may have deeper and longstanding ties to financial entities associated with the subprime mortgage scandal.

“That and her ties to Chicago politicians and her Iranian background, and you have a potential nightmare,” says a Democrat media consultant who worked for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. “Say what you want about Hillary, but she didn’t have that kind of a triple threat on her team.”

Valerie Jarrett steps up role in Obama campaign. “She’s always been the other side of Barack’s brain.” - By Lynn Sweet

 Obama’s closest aide is Shirazi

Jarrett is a member of African-American and Chicago royalty. But her story and her life begin in the Middle East, not the Midwest. She was born in 1956 in Shiraz, Iran, about 570 miles south of Tehran. Her parents moved to Shiraz, known for its poets, wine and flowers, as part of a program that sent American doctors and agricultural experts to developing countries to help jump-start their health and farming efforts. Her father was on the staff of the brand new Nemazee Hospital, where Jarrett was born.

BlackAmericans.com - For Obama, Valerie Jarrett Is Essential Member of Inner Set

Ms. Jarrett, 51 years old, was born to an accomplished family in Chicago. Her father is a pathologist and was the first African-American to receive tenure at the University of Chicago’s department of biological sciences. Her mother is a child psychologist and a former president of the Erickson Institute, a graduate school and research center. Ms. Jarrett grew up in the wealthy and integrated Hyde Park neighborhood when Chicago was among the most racially polarized cities in the country.

More: Troubling donations to Barack Obama, starting with Valerie Jarrett - by Doug Ross

From Human Events: Obama the Slumlord Senator

During his time in Illinois, some of Barack Obama’s most important donors and fundraisers were slumlords, including convicted felon Tony Rezko, who lined their pockets with taxpayers’ money from public projects Obama pushed through the legislature.

In his new book, The Case Against Barack Obama, journalist David Freddoso exposes Rezko and other Obama cronies who financed Obama’s political career, contributing several hundred thousand dollars to his campaigns, while Obama helped funnel government subsidies to these Chicago slumlords to help them build low-income housing.

So what did the Illinois taxpayers get out of these deals?

* Allison Davis, Obama’s former law firm boss, built several slums which were famous for the chronic plumbing failures that caused sewage to back up into residents’ sinks. Obama actually wrote letters to city and state officials supporting a bid by Rezko and Davis to get $14.6 million from the taxpayers to fund housing for seniors.

* Cecil Butler, another Obama donor, had one of his apartment complexes confiscated by the government when city inspectors found over 1,800 code violations.

* Valerie Jarrett, an Obama fundraiser and advisor, was the chief executive of a company that managed a housing complex that became so run-down it was seized by the federal government.

* Tony Rezko’s housing company, Rezmar, raked in more than $100 million in loans from the city, state and federal government to fix up 30 Chicago buildings for low-income housing. All of the buildings have failed financially: As of 2007, 17 have gone into foreclosure, and 6 have been boarded up. Meanwhile, the city of Chicago has sued Rezmar at least a dozen times for failing to heat its buildings.

Obama’s support for slumlords and corrupt developers proves once again that his claim to be a “reformer” is, as author David Freddoso points out, a great lie.

****

I know I know I can hear the Obama fans that bravely on occasion visit the Poop who are saying LIES, LIES ALL LIES! “Barack Obama the most moral man in America, community organizer extraordinaire, Republicans are just desperate to get any dirt they can” bla bla bla…

I’m just thinking, although I do have a great deal of time to blog during the day, I’m not a full time paid blogger so even I don’t have enough time in the course of the day to post all the crap about Obama.

As most of you know I said for a long time that I was going to sit out this election, and I have always said that no one man can fuck up the presidency nor this country.
I was not happy when Bill Clinton won the election but he was not too bad of a president.
I would not have lost sleep of Hillary were elected or even John Kerry.
However I have never been so afraid of having a particular individual win the White House. This dude is off the charts fucked up. I am so glad that people are waking up and I hope that momentum will continue in November to keep this crazy bastard out of the Oval Office.

Dumbass! - Former NY mayor: Palin ’scares the hell out of me’

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

monsters.jpg
Saying that Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin “scares the hell out of me,” former New York Mayor Ed Koch endorsed fellow Democrat Barack Obama on Tuesday.

In 2004, Koch backed President Bush for re-election saying the Republican incumbent was better equipped to combat “Islamic terrorists” than Democratic candidate John Kerry.

Koch, who was mayor of New York from 1977 to 1989, said he has concluded that the country would be safer in the hands of Obama and running mate Joe Biden than presidential candidate John McCain and Palin.

“Protecting and defending the U.S. means more than defending us from foreign attacks,” Koch said, citing such concerns as civil liberties, abortion rights, gay rights and access to health insurance.

Koch said he is particularly troubled by Palin’s record in those areas.

“It’s Palin primarily,” he said. “She scares the hell out of me.”

Koch called Palin a “plucky, exciting candidate” but also said: “If the vice president were ever called on to lead the country, there is no question in my mind that the experience and demonstrated judgment of Joe Biden is superior to that of Sarah Palin.”

McCain Campaign Fumes Over Paterson’s Racism Claim

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

Folks I’m neither smart enough nor creative enough to make this kind of stupid shit up!!
crackhead.JPG

N.Y. Governor Says Palin’s Repeated Use Of ‘Community Organizer’ Is Another Way Of Saying ‘Black’

ALBANY (CBS) ― On Monday, Gov. David Paterson angered some state lawmakers by comparing them to vampires, calling them a bunch of “blood suckers.” On Tuesday, he raised eyebrows again, and tempers, by accusing the John McCain campaign of veiled racism.

At the Crain’s Business Forum this morning, Paterson drew attention to a phrase used numerous times by speakers at the Republican National Convention to describe Barack Obama’s leadership experience: community organizer.

“I think the Republican Party is too smart to call Barack Obama ‘black’ in a sense that it would be a negative. But you can take something about his life, which I noticed they did at the Republican Convention – a ‘community organizer.’ They kept saying it, they kept laughing,” he said.

Paterson referred to McCain’s running mate Sarah Palin who compared her work experience to Obama’s.

“So I suppose a small town mayor is sort of like a community organizer, except with real responsibilities,” she said at the convention.

Paterson sees the repeated use of the words “community organizer” as Republican code for “black”.

“I think where there are overtones is when there are uses of language that are designed to inhibit other people’s progress with a subtle reference to their race,” he said.

But the McCain/Palin campaign quickly fired back in a statement, saying: “It is disappointing that Governor Paterson would launch accusations of racism. … Governor Palin’s remarks about Barack Obama’s work as a community organizer was in response to the Obama campaign’s belittling of her executive experience.”

The statement goes on to point out Sarah Palin’s own experience of civic involvement and says Paterson’s comments are “a sure sign of a flailing campaign that is bordering on desperation”.

Paterson raises the question of whether the Presidential race has become desperate or devious.

“At this point, Americans wouldn’t tolerate a racial appeal. What I’m saying is that there are sneaky ways to try to hurt someone,” he said.

Paterson does say he’s not certain that’s happening.

But what disturbed him was what seemed like derisive laughter on the part of the Republicans at Obama’s choice of helping his community rather than getting rich on Wall Street.

Paterson is New York state’s first black governor.

UPDATE - CRAP! CHRIS MATTHEWS SAID THIS STUPID SHIT TOO!!!

Chris Matthews, on Monday night’s Hardball, speculated that Republicans were playing the race card when they made fun of Barack Obama’s experience as a community organizer, even going as far to say they’re using the phrase like a “bullwhip.” In a segment with NBC’s Chuck Todd and pollster Stuart Rothenberg, Matthews suspiciously noted that Republicans like Sarah Palin and Rudy Giuliani, at last week’s GOP convention, were “giggling” over the “community organizer” title as he pondered: “Is this the new ‘welfare queen?’”

Then a little later in the program, in a segment with the Financial Times’ Chrystia Freeland and the Independent Women’s Forum’s Michelle Bernard, Matthews returned to the subject as he declared: “It seems to me that the use of the word, ‘community organizer,’ is almost like a bullwhip.”

The little messiah is pouting… Oprah says “hell no” to Palin

Friday, September 5th, 2008

A couple of items via Hillbilly White Trash

Obama is defending his work as a “community organizer” in the pages of The Nation:

ST. PAUL — Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin ridiculed Barack Obama’s experience as a community organizer twice in her address to her party’s national convention. “Before I became governor of the great state of Alaska, I was mayor of my hometown,” the former local official sneered. “And since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involved. I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a community organizer, except that you have actual responsibilities.”

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani piled on with his own mockery of the Democratic presidential candidate’s work with laid-off steelworkers on the south side of Chicago. “You have a resume from a gifted man with an Ivy League education. He worked as a community organizer,” Giuliani joked. “Okay. Maybe this is the first problem on the resume. He worked as a community organizer.”

What does the senator say?

Speaking of the Republican convention speakers, a clearly riled Obama said, “They haven’t talked about the fact that I was a civil rights lawyer; they haven’t talked about the fact that I taught constitutional law; they haven’t talked about my work in the state legislature, in the United States Senate. They’re talking about the three years of work that I did right out of college as if… I’m making the leap from two or three years out of college into the presidency.”

The reason that Republicans are focusing on Obama’s “community organizing” is the fact that Obama is focusing on it. He doesn’t say much about his time as a law professor, probably because his work during that time was so relentlessly mediocre that he’s ashamed to draw attention to it. As for his work in a civil rights law firm people hear that and they get images of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, Tawana Brawley and Yankel Rosenbaum. Obama knows that stuff helped him win the primary where the people he had to impress were the Democrat party’s moonbat fringe but he also knows that he can’t dwell on that if he wants to win a national election.

Check this Out: From the Drudge Report:

Oprah Winfrey may have introduced Democrat Barack Obama to the women of America — but the talkshow queen is not rushing to embrace the first woman on a Republican presidential ticket!

Oprah’s staff is sharply divided on the merits of booking Sarah Palin, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

“Half of her staff really wants Sarah Palin on,” an insider explains. “Oprah’s website is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama.”

One executive close to Winfrey is warning any Palin ban could ignite a dramatic backlash!

It is not clear if Oprah has softened her position after watching Palin’s historic convention speech.

Last year, Winfrey blocked an appearance by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, timed to a promotional tour of his autobiography.

Oprah and executive producer Sheri Salata, who has contributed thousands of dollars to Obama’s campaign, refused requests for comment.

Lemuel Calhoon from HWT also add this…

Oprah went into the tank for Obama early and never looked back so why would Governor Palin want to go on her show. It would be like sitting down for an interview with James Carvell (except that Oprah doesn’t look nearly as creepy)?

Oprah can best serve the McCain/Palin campaign by continuing to show her extreme bias and drive hundreds of thousands of more women to vote Republican.

I agree I think this last week of liberal media bashing of Palin has pissed off more than a few people and they are becoming more and more sensitive to “fairness” when it comes to campaign coverage.
If this story of Oprah dissing Palin gets traction believe me there will be a backlash.
Oprah is a billionaire because white folks put that money in her pockets and white folks can just as easily turn their backs on her and the Magic Negros campaign.
HOWEVER I understand that if Oprah puts Palin on her show, Obama’s campaign will freak. In every video I have seen of Palin she is VERY impressive, she kicks ass and even the ultra liberal types who watch Oprah would be impressed by her depth of knowledge on many issues even if they did not agree with her politics overall.
Palin is not a bimbo so the last thing Oprah wants to do is to showcase her.
