From STACLU - Google Shuts Down Anti-Obama Sites on its Blogger Platform

Monday, June 30th, 2008

bo_gangsta.jpg
Wow check this out from Stop the ACLU via Conservative Grapevine

Obamaniacs taking advantage of google’s faulty sytem. A commenter explains:

The problem with blogger is that a group of people with an ax to grind can report any blog as spam and after enough complaints, it’s automatically suspended until a real live human being can get around to examining it. If enough complaints are registered with blogger, you might get a response within 5 days but it takes a concerted effort. This is a huge problem with blogger and something google needs to get a handle on.

Regardless who is at fault, this shutting down of free speech is disturbing.

-Edit by WTH: If I can find a link to prove that it was a concerted effort by Obama supporters, I’ll post it.

It looks like Google has officially joined the Barack Obama campaign and decided that its contribution would be to shut down any blog on the Google owned Blogspot.com blogging system that has an anti-Obama message.

84 Year-Old Veteran Attacked at Karl Rove Speech

 rove.jpg

As soon as Rove entered the room, boos, shouts of “traitor” and “war criminal,” and occasional cheers emanated from the roughly 900 audience members - and lasted the entire hour and a half in which Rove took questions- Des Moines Register.

The Leftist mob also screamed down an 84 year-old veteran and told him to “F**k off!”

What is now commonplace and expected at American universities happened again on Sunday. Intolerant Leftist protesters ambushed conservative Karl Rove during his speech at the University of Iowa.
They also attacked an 84 year-old veteran who came to listen to Rove speak.

Mitt Again…

Friday, December 7th, 2007

tarbaby.jpgOk I have to get this off my chest, as I have said many time that I am a long time listener of Rush. But his pimping and flowering of the speech gave by Romney is just sickening.
Glenn Beck is also pimping the virtues of the speech. I’m tired about hearing about his fucken speech, so what the hell, I’ll post more rants about him and his Mormon homies.

You know folks there have been many individuals both political and not who have given great inspiring speeches. Although I love a good speech and marvel at a good delivery in most instances the words that are sung from the lips of most humans are simply flawed rhetoric.

Yes there have been oratories from individuals that gave me goose bumps and made me smile, others made me cringe. But good speeches don’t necessarily translate into meaningful action.

Y’all who have read my rants about Romney and Mormons know that I have placed a personal scrutiny on both.
Rush and some media folks have mentioned that both Senators Harry Reid and Orin Hatch are also Mormons and have inquired whether or not these two individuals must answer the anti Mormonism charges levied at Romney.
As far as I’m concerned, no. They are not running for “president”, Romney is.

Let me make something clear here. Would I choose someone like Romney or some enterprising Mormon to run my business? Sure. If I were hiring someone for employment and knew they were Mormon would I consider them? Absolutely.
Would I have a problem with a Mormon teacher, doctor, or mechanic? Not at all.
Could a Mormon be my mayor, city councilman, and congressman, hell why not, depending on what I know about him and what he has done for the community.
Ok, governor? As far as I’m concerned no, president again NO!
Yes I’m a biased bastard, sue me!

So then again Snoop what is your beef with Mormons? PPP readers skip ahead…

THEY “TAUGHT” THAT PEOPLE WITH MY SKIN PIGMENTATION WERE INHERENTLY EVIL.

Representing a district or a municipality is one thing representing a state or this nation is another. Yes, I can hear, oh Snoop that’s just stupid. Well would I consider Robert Byrd for president (hypothetical folks work with me here), Christian man and all, fuck no, he still thinks darkies should be sent back to Africa. What is the difference in Byrd’s view of blacks and Mormons view of blacks?

If there were a Buddhist, a Jew, Quaker, Jehovah Witness, Southern Baptist, Hindu running for president I would not give a shit unless they were liberal Democrats of course.
These examples as far as I know did not teach their parishioners that dark skinned people are somehow “cursed.” And I keep reading, “ah, well they don’t teach that anymore.”
Ah yes the beauty of smorgous board worshiping. Just take out the parts that are cool to you and leave out the questionable stuff. Yes way too many “religious” zealots love to pick and choose parts of the bible and their faith that suits them.

So what did the Mormon elders decide, did they have secret meetings around the country or issue memos to Mormons across America to “invite a Negro to church”, tell them they are all welcomed now, we gotta help our brother Mitt.

In my mind I ask myself, does the individual that I choose to vote for in 2008 have a basic level of respect for me as a human being and others that share my skin color.
Does your religion of choice, see all people as equals or as all part of the same human family.
Does your religion come with strings attached; I’m not talking about the morality of good deeds in teaching you how to treat your fellow man, or doctrine like the 10 commandments that outline basic common sense principals on how to govern your life.
I’m talking about, religions that come with man made dogma, secret codes and the hidden rhetoric that can only come from “mans” over processed imagination.

Most of these hidden “rules” and codes come from wanting a particular religion to remain “pure” free of individuals who may destroy the race or religious family.
Although not as religious as most folks, you see I know God feels that he did not make an inherently evil or lesser individual to occupy this earth.
Atheists can argue the existence of a God if they want I could care less, but this is precisely why I would never consider an Atheist for president either.
Basically atheists think that people who even consider a higher power are fools pure and simple and the notion that an individual can run this nation while mocking 90 percent of this population is simple laughable.

As for my belief in God and how he feels about me, I don’t have to attend some ridiculous ceremony or conduct some weekly ritual or throw my money into the coffers of some mega evangelist so they can build these huge churches with Starbucks signs in the shadow of the alter.

But back to Mormonism, I find what they believe offensive, and as much as they try to mask it today I will still be strongly outspoken about it until someone either on the radio, or TV or I finally read in print someone address the real issues with Mormonism.
Yes I have read countless websites and text from Mormons and they quietly dismiss rhetoric like mine as bore out of simple ignorance.
Sorry, wrong Negro, my knowledge of Mormons goes back to my junior high and high school days. I use to study various religions on the side; I was always fascinated as to why certain people would gravitate to one source of religious teaching over another.

As for Romney’s little bullshit speech, it was just that, bullshit; give props to his speech writer for masking the true issue and concerns that Americans have about the notion of a Mormon president.

If and when he decides to tackle the issue head on and be honest about what is likely my ignorance about his true beliefs then I will be willing to consider the man who wants to lead this nation.

He did say that his beliefs were the beliefs of his fathers and his fathers before him, then fine, let your nomination live or die with those beliefs, but I have a right as a voter to
scrutinize and point out the flaws as I see it. And no radio/TV talk show host, high brow blogger or TV pundit is going browbeat me or guilt me into doing otherwise. If they don’t like it, well pucker up, while I pull down the jammies.

This is America, is it not?! Ah but the beauty of blogging is if there is someone, anyone out there who can educate me, please feel free.

The floor is now yours. Hell someone contact Mitt, and have him send me something.
I’ll post Mitt 2008 buttons on my blog if I could get a reasoned and logical response from a Mormon out there who wants to set me straight.

I’ll be waiting.

Rachel Marsden and the Hugo Chavez Democrats

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

rachelmarsden.jpgFrom Moonbattery

The totalitarian moonbats at Daily Kos are exuberant. Possibly due to their jihad against her, conservative Rachel Marsden has been fired from the Toronto Sun after writing weekly columns for two years. The Kostards are delighted that she no longer appears on the Sun’s columnist list, yelping with joy that the paper “re-wrote history” — i.e., erased her, Stalin style, just as the Democrat Party’s Nutroots base would do to anyone who won’t guzzle their toxic Kool-Aid with sufficient enthusiasm.

Moonbats’ special ire was aroused when Marsden wrote an excellent piece endorsing waterboarding for the terrorists liberals so cherish.

But Rachel is still kicking. Her Sun Media Column Statement:

Attention terrorists and Islamofascists: You can now read the Toronto Sun without having your delicate sensibilities offended, as my weekly column is no longer with Sun Media. I am currently exploring US syndication and other venues for the column. In the meantime, you can continue to read it here at RachelMarsden.com, every Monday. And yes (to respond to some of your queries), after more than 2 years of writing weekly for the Sun, I’ve been under a new Editor-in-Chief, Lou Clancy, since October 5th, who comes from Canada’s most liberal newspaper: The Toronto Star. My column about Islam was spiked on his first day at the job. Best of luck to any principled conservatives who remain.

Although this is surely only a temporary setback in Marsden’s career, there is certainly something ominous about the thugs LOTUS blog refers to as “Hugo Chavez Democrats” — unhinged bullies who will not rest until anyone who disagrees with them has been silenced.

Dem Thuggery Directed Toward Talk Radio

Tuesday, October 9th, 2007

waxman.jpgI’m not gonna dwell on this too much because most of you could care less, but when people tell me that there is no difference between Democrats and Republicans I cringe because anybody who tells me that simply is not paying attention.

Yes I understand the illusions put forth by certain individuals from each party confuse the masses and sometimes blurs that line between the two parties. Like a liberal putting a moderate face on an issue to appease his or her constituents or a camouflaged “conservative” who is really a closet gay liberal *coughCraigcough* because he comes from redneck land and they don’t take too kindly to “dem homo sexual types.”

But this is the kind of things that matter to me, dangerous people like Rep. Henry Waxman. Ignore this kind of lunacy at your own peril.
Say you don’t give a fuck because there are more important things, but to say that this behavior is ok or acceptable then this country is more fucked up than I thought.

from Rush

Rep. Henry Waxman has asked his investigative staff to begin compiling reports on Limbaugh, and fellow radio hosts Sean Hannity and Mark Levin based on transcripts from their shows, and to call in Federal Communications Commission chairman Kevin Martin to discuss the so-called ‘Fairness Doctrine.’

‘Limbaugh isn’t the only one who needs to be made uncomfortable about what he says on the radio,’ says a House leadership source. ‘We don’t have as big a megaphone as these guys, but this [is] all political, and we’ll do what we can to gain the advantage. If we can take them off their game for a while, it will help our folks out there on the campaign trail.’”

So what does this mean? It means that Henry Waxman, who runs the government oversight committee, has officially, or is going to, begin investigations of me and Hannity and Levin. He is going to have his staff, paid for with your tax dollars, listen to these programs and review transcripts and report back to him. For what? Irregularities that they might hear on this program? What do we have here, folks? Henry Waxman believes that Congress, and his committee in particular, has, as its jurisdiction, the control of content of the airwaves in this country? He wants to use his position — he wants to use the Democrat Party and the power of government — to control speech content. Now, we’ve had people throwing the word “patriotism” around here. Forget the word “patriotism.”

Have you ever heard of anything as un-American as this? These are the same people who are trying to destroy Bush’s spy program to catch terrorists in the act before they commit the act, as “spying on innocent Americans.” It’s unfair; it’s violating civil rights. They want all these ex-White House officials to come up and talk about this. Yet the very same people, Waxman and his bunch, have instructed the “investigators on his staff” to monitor this program. The Constitution prohibits this. It specifically prohibits this. You know, I honestly believe Henry Waxman would be just as comfortable as a hack member of the Venezuelan parliament working side by side with Hugo Chavez. It’s a puppet operation down there, the parliament is.

More here: Dem Thuggery Directed Toward Talk Radio

This is political hardball being played at the street level. The Democrat controlled Congress is putting conservative talk radio hosts on notice that unless they mute their criticism, they may very well find themselves out of a job sometime soon.

Video: Crazed by Rush, Wes Clark calls for political discourse to be RATED

Thursday, October 4th, 2007

From Hot Air

He doesn’t say who’ll be doing the rating but he digs the idea of Congress yanking Rush Limbaugh off of Armed Forces Radio so presumably they’d be okay to head that up, too. The point he’s ostensibly trying to make is a simple one — that the U.S. government shouldn’t be broadcasting anything that harms its own military’s morale — but a standard that narrow wouldn’t let you regulate very much speech.
So he broadens it with a magnificently Orwellian invocation of “propriety” that has no discernible definition except his own arbitrary judgment about what does and doesn’t “cross the line.” Just laying a little groundwork for the Fairness Doctrine, planting a few seeds which he hopes will flower a few years from now.

I understand that I’m a very partisan guy and I have strong political views, I make fun of Democrats and liberals and some who may peep this site who may be left leaning may find some of my comments mildly offensive, but Wesley Clark is a fool however he is not alone.

I know some liberals that would listen to what Clark says and would think nothing of his ridiculously moronic statements.
How do seemingly reasonable people come to this moronic thinking?
Now forget that Clark has had ample time to get his facts straight on this Rush/Media Matters issue, but he chooses to STILL ignore the facts of the issue and is willing to go on television and distort facts.

Ya know during my work day I come in contact with a lot of folks in social settings all participating in some sort of educational forum or conference.
As I was setting up for one of the events the speaker had some clips from Fox News, I can’t remember the specific topic, but as one of the audience members who came to attend the presentation said to this presenter “you are not going to make us watch the Fox propaganda channel all day are you?” Another individual said, “news source for the less educated and ill informed, I don’t understand how people can watch that”
Man I was fuming, I wanted so bad to say something, these were two old white dudes, who lets just say works in the judicial system.

I still don’t get how any reasonable individual can make a determination on the quality and “truthfulness” of a broadcast network they don’t watch! Or a radio talk show host they don’t listen too.
I have heard more than a few national political pundits (in person) chastise the viewing audience of Fox News and listeners of Rush.

The will for “our” side to WIN, is so prevalent that reasonable processing of political discourse goes out the window.
Even if you don’t like how Fox News reports its stories with a right leaning slant, to make a determination of an individual’s intelligence based on where he or she chooses to get his or her information is just absurd.

I also overheard in a conversation during a presentation by an individual on Iraq, this was during casual conversation before the event, by a former U.S. Ambassador that “this war is purposefully sending poor kids to war as political fodder”, and “today’s military is made up of uneducated poor kids desperate to get a few dollars to feed their families.”

Folks this is the benefit of just listening to people. I rarely have conversations with people on politics or societal issues. That is why doing this blog is more for my self education, and as an outlet to express what is going on in my head than trying to “influence” anybody or anything.

As the lone darkie in so many social situations and because of the nature of my work many times as the fly on the wall, it’s safe for white liberal types to express their true biases and hang-ups during friendly conversation.
“Negros are one of us”, so it’s ok to spew retarded rhetoric, it’s likely that he is either ill informed or is incapable of processing our infallible and insightful liberal logic.

I learned a lot by listening to the leftist protesters in D.C. back in March of this year, the campaign slogans flowing freely from sufficiently programmed young skulls full of mush and the typical mindless liberal chants found at any Code Pink rally or Gay rights parade.

I learned much more from liberals at the 06 Daily Kos convention, as angry radicals leftists made their case promoting progressive causes and castigating the evil conservative propaganda machine.

As silly and inane as Clark sounded in the video, he is only doing his duty; he is on someone’s payroll. He simply sounds like every other clueless liberal promoting the voice of many mindless liberals who applaud the notion that people like Rush should be silenced at all cost, Negros like Clarence Thomas should be kept in his place, teaching kids about same sex partnerships in second grade is acceptable, abortion is birth control and we the taxpayers should be paying for it, God is a myth, income distribution is “necessary,” capitalism is evil, military personnel are uneducated puppets.

I guarantee you liberals will one day want to have blogs “rated” since bloggers are able to successfully filter and scrutinize liberal Democrat rhetoric.

“Political Parties: A Buyer’s Guide” by George Soros

Monday, October 1st, 2007

soros2.jpgMore George Soros education from the blog Texas Rainmaker

In 2003, George Soros declared that defeating President Bush is the central focus of his life.

Apparently his scorched earth approach also includes trying to tear down the basic pillars of our country.

He aggressively supported campaign finance reform under the guise of “reduc[ing] the corrupting influence of very large donors to political parties and candidates.” Then he drove a mack truck through the loopholes in that legislation and became one of the single, largest donors to political parties and candidates.

He uses his “Open Society Institute” to funnel cash from those “very large donors” (including himself) to groups designed to undermine the U.S. government…

Partnering with the Tides Foundation in 2004, Soros’ organization helped the Kerry campaign funnel money into a group of 9/11 widows who were campaigning against Bush.

He gave millions to Americans Coming Together, a group focused on committing election fraud.

He’s also thrown millions of dollars behind Moveon.org, a group focused on perpetuating lies about President Bush in the 2004 election and more recently publishing a full page ad in the New York Times calling a United States Military General a liar.

So what did Soros do when all the money he spent to undermine the elections went to waste? He started a new back channel of contributions designed at undermining the current U.S. administration.

And it’s hardly been the model of openness he and his organization claim to achieve.

Susan Estrich: Traitor….to the left

Monday, August 13th, 2007

foxnews.jpgThis is Susan E talking about the idiot liberals’ drug induced obsession and hatred with Fox News.
Ya know I’m a pretty simple dude, maybe that tis why I don’t understand the liberals hatred of a freaking news network.

Yes, I think the media bias is a bit out of control, but as a conservative I’m use to it, I expect them to be biased, I expect anti-right spin and distortion, however I don’t HATE MSNBC, NBC, ABC whatever. I would never call for those networks to be off the air, banned, have debates steered from those networks or any type of censorship.

As much as I hate Keith Olberman, and I clearly think he is a moronic bastard, I don’t want him off the air, hell him being on the air is good for the right. He is the poster child for “anemic grey matter syndrome” typically found in left leaning learning disabled types who are obsessed with George Bush and tax cuts.

I have always thought to myself, if I were to get to the point where I would advocate the censorship of any news or media resource then I would be clearly in need of the straight jacket and the padded rooms.

Liberals are increasingly getting more and more anti-free speech and I’m not exactly sure why this is.
Props to Susan for standing up and speaking out against this nonsense, but you can bet she will pay a high price for this piece.

By Susan Estrich - Fox NewsIt’s the unbridled ugliness that gets to me, the people who don’t disagree but hate, don’t criticize but attack with a sledgehammer, use language I wouldn’t use with my worst enemy. Often, very often actually, the subject of their ire isn’t even anything I say, but the mere fact that I say it or write it on Fox News.

People who would never say such things in public write them online, free to expose and explore their darkest side, at the expense of whoever is unfortunate enough to find themselves on the wrong web page. And what’s almost as stunning as the ugliness is how few people dare to stand up and condemn it, to say that it’s wrong, to put their money where their mouths are.

###

If you don’t like FOX News, you don’t have to watch it. If you’d rather hear from people with different points of view, they are out there. Watch them. Listen to them. Write invective-free letters to FOX telling them what you’ll watch and what you won’t. But boycotts and countervailing boycotts? Threatening advertisers? Harrassing those of us who believe it’s important that the other side be heard?

We may have a disagreement on whether it’s the right strategy to go on a network whose hosts you often disagree with (as conservatives do with MSNBC) or not, but that shouldn’t turn allies into enemies, or those you disagree with into traitors.

Traitors are people who turn on our country, not who appear on a news network you don’t like. Enemies are people who would kill our children, not those who agree to debate those you don’t want to watch. Both sides are guilty of destroying public discourse in the guise of engaging in it, but hearing that the Left is as bad as the Right, or vice versa, doesn’t excuse either side.

O’Reilly vs Daily Kos; You believe in free speech or not?

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

Let me be clear I like O’Reilly, he is the number one cable show for a reason.
Shows like Countdown with Keith Olberman are a joke because dude does not even try to be objective.
He falls into the same trap as most flaming liberals, call Bush and Republicans a few crude names, throw in a few familiar phrases like Bush lied people died, Kill capitalism Bush equals Hitler, 9/11 was a lie and you too can earn your tin foil hat.

This clip is from last nights O’Reilly as he admonishes the Daily Kos website and paints it as a hate site using some colorful phrases from some of the more intelligent blog participants.

This is a simple issue despite O’Reilly’s rantings.
Are there a few really stupid people who crave attention on Kos by posting the most outrageous and idiotic comments that can pull out of their asses, of course. However the Daily Kos is a community with all levels of intelligent thought from the knuckle dragger far left lunatic morons to the more sane and reasonable individuals.

I choose not to hide individual stupidity on my blog, because there is a point in highlighting the intellectual vacancy of some individuals. RAVEN!

O’Reilly c’mon on, the world simply has way too many morons and we can’t hide them all. Mrs. Bill is entitled to court these potential voters no matter how idiotic they are.
Blogs gives these people an outlet, it’s better for these liberals to spend their time ranting about Republicans than beating their wives and kids.

HotAir, MEMRI, Jihad Watch blocked by the Feds?

Thursday, July 5th, 2007

liberals3.jpg

I found over on Right Wing News. Somewhat shocking but not a surprise anymore in today’s environment. I hope this story gets more coverage to counter the deceitful terrorist loving leftist bastards.

Site Links: MEMRI - Hot Air - Jihad Watch

Hello. Robert Spencer here from Jihad Watch. Several days ago I received this email:

I wanted to drop a line about the inability to access JihadWatch at work. I work for the Fed Gov. Three weeks ago, Memri was blocked. Two weeks ago HotAir, which I used to look at on my lunch break for your updates, was blocked. As of Friday,June 29th, JihadWatch was blocked. I can however, visit CAIR, read anything about Islam, and even get the Arab news. The censors I deal with are from the Dallas area. It is very easy to see that this censor is not operating according to the proper rules of access. They are operating by their political beliefs (or hopes.) It is unfortunate that these people block the very information that we need in these times….

Also, all this week I have gotten emails telling me that Jihad Watch has suddenly been blocked in all sorts of places: Fidelity Investments, JPMorgan Chase, even the City of Chicago. Word is that Jihad Watch and other sites have suddenly been labeled as purveying “hate speech.”

This is a tried and true tactic of the Left: intellectually bankrupt as it is, it silences its critics rather than dealing with them on the level of ideas. They can’t answer us, so they try to shut us up and discredit us. Leftists, as well as apologists for Islamic jihad terrorism, label their opponents “hatemongers” and “bigots,” hoping thereby to make people of good will turn away from their message. And the politicized nature of this Internet censorship will come as a surprise to no one.

In reality, Jihad Watch is dedicated to the defense of human rights for all people against those who would impose Islamic law, with its institutionalized discrimination against women and religious minorities, over both Muslim and non-Muslim societies. There is no “hatred” in this, except when we report the words of hatred and supremacism of the Islamic jihadists. We are trying to raise awareness of the nature, extent, and goals of the global jihad, which threatens everyone who loves and cherishes freedom and the equality of rights of all people before the law.

And so, we are going to fight this, as best we can, and I am sure MEMRI and HotAir are also. Today I am going to contact every organization that, according to emails I have received, has banned Jihad Watch, and urge them to remove the ban. Wherever you are working today, if you get a chance please take a moment to check if you still have access to conservative sites — and if you don’t, lodge a respectful but firm protest. Let us not take lying down being vilified and silenced, when we are telling the truth.

Wow! What an amazing website! I thought all you guys had queitly gone to your graves after WWII muttering about “just following orders” the whole way but instead I find all you hate-filled Nazis right here. What a compendium of lies, paranoia, hate, racism and a laundry list of sins. Fortunately the God you all believe in will send you sickos to burn in hell.

Oh and I see you need moderation so that only fellow brown-shirts can get posted. Just another example of Republican free speech. Is there anything you don’t fear?

ps: go change your pajamas, your skid marks are smelling.

It tis clear that he is lonely and needs attention.

I don’t moderate comments for content only spam.

Liberals who want to post comments are given the highest priority.

Good liberal comments (even idiot ones like yours) are always moved to the top of the blog.
There are no other right leaning blogs that does this.

So why has few liberals ever taken me up on it, because they are only able to speak in clichés and repeat what you find on the DNC website.

They would rather speak amongst their own confused and delusional kind.

So No-doz either bring it on or go back to downloading child porn.

I bet you are Perspiring Pig Guy, pissed off that I posted your drip, drip drip date!
Don’t worry there is a hillbilly chick out there for you all buck toothed and horny.

Speech Police, Riding High In Oakland

Monday, June 25th, 2007
free.jpg By George F. Will - The Washington Post

Marriage is the foundation of the natural family and sustains family values. That sentence is inflammatory, perhaps even a hate crime.

At least it is in Oakland, Calif. That city’s government says those words, italicized here, constitute something akin to hate speech and can be proscribed from the government’s open e-mail system and employee bulletin board.

When the McCain-Feingold law empowered government to regulate the quantity, content and timing of political campaign speech about government, it was predictable that the right of free speech would increasingly be sacrificed to various social objectives that free speech supposedly impedes. And it was predictable that speech suppression would become an instrument of cultural combat, used to settle ideological scores and advance political agendas by silencing adversaries.

That has happened in Oakland. And, predictably, the ineffable U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit has ratified this abridgement of First Amendment protections. Fortunately, overturning the 9th Circuit is steady work for the U.S. Supreme Court.

Some African American Christian women working for Oakland’s government organized the Good News Employee Association (GNEA), which they announced with a flier describing their group as “a forum for people of Faith to express their views on the contemporary issues of the day. With respect for the Natural Family, Marriage and Family Values.”

The flier was distributed after other employees’ groups, including those advocating gay rights, had advertised their political views and activities on the city’s e-mail system and bulletin board. When the GNEA asked for equal opportunity to communicate by that system and that board, it was denied. Furthermore, the flier they posted was taken down and destroyed by city officials, who declared it “homophobic” and disruptive.

The city government said the flier was “determined” to promote harassment based on sexual orientation. The city warned that the flier and communications like it could result in disciplinary action “up to and including termination.”

Effectively, the city has proscribed any speech that even one person might say questioned the gay rights agenda and therefore created what that person felt was a “hostile” environment. This, even though gay rights advocates used the city’s communication system to advertise “Happy Coming Out Day.” Yet the terms “natural family,” “marriage” and “family values” are considered intolerably inflammatory.

The treatment of the GNEA illustrates one technique by which America’s growing ranks of self-appointed speech police expand their reach: They wait until groups they disagree with, such as the GNEA, are provoked to respond to them in public debates, then they persecute them for annoying those to whom they are responding. In Oakland, this dialectic of censorship proceeded on a reasonable premise joined to a preposterous theory.

The premise is that city officials are entitled to maintain workplace order and decorum. The theory is that government supervisors have such unbridled power of prior restraint on speech in the name of protecting order and decorum that they can nullify the First Amendment by declaring that even the mild text of the GNEA flier is inherently disruptive.

The flier supposedly violated the city regulation prohibiting “discrimination and/or harassment based on sexual orientation.” The only cited disruption was one lesbian’s complaint that the flier made her feel “targeted” and “excluded.” So anyone has the power to be a censor just by saying someone’s speech has hurt his or her feelings.

Unless the speech is “progressive.” If the GNEA claimed it felt “excluded” by advocacy of the gay rights agenda, would that advocacy have been suppressed? Of course not — although the GNEA’s members could plausibly argue that the city’s speech police have created a “hostile” environment against them.

A district court affirmed the city’s right to impose speech regulations that are patently not content-neutral. It said the GNEA’s speech interest — the flier — is “vanishingly small.” The GNEA, in its brief asking the U.S. Supreme Court to intervene, responds that some of the high court’s seminal First Amendment rulings have concerned small matters, such the wearing of a T-shirt, standing on a soapbox, holding a picket sign and “other simple forms of expression.”

Congress is currently trying to enact yet another “hate crime” law that would authorize enhanced punishments for crimes motivated by, among other things, sexual orientation. A coalition of African American clergy, the High Impact Leadership Coalition, opposes this, fearing it might be used “to muzzle the church.” The clergy argue that in our “litigation-prone society” the legislation would result in lawsuits having “a chilling effect” on speech and religious liberty. As the Oakland case demonstrates, that, too, is predictable.

SENATOR CLAIMS: BOXER/CLINTON WANT ‘LEGISLATIVE FIX’ FOR TALKRADIO

‘Honk for peace’ case tests limits on free speech

Monday, May 14th, 2007
protest108.jpgWhen one of Deborah Mayer’s elementary school students asked her on the eve of the Iraq war whether she would ever take part in a peace march, the veteran teacher recalls answering, “I honk for peace.”

Soon afterward, Mayer lost her job and her home in Indiana. She was out of work for nearly three years. And when she complained to federal courts that her free-speech rights had been violated, the courts replied, essentially, that as a public school teacher she didn’t have any.

Rush segment on Dick “Turban” Durbin the Fairness Doctrine, Barrack: “verbal violence”

Wednesday, April 18th, 2007

Yes leftist elected officials using the tragedy to blame conservative talk radio and guns for the deaths at Virginia Tech, while ignoring the fact that this sick bastard gave off all the warning signs that he was nuts long before the shooting.

But Noooooo, “fat ass” Rosie wants to blame it on the NRA, Fox News, Republicans, Jesus, whoever yada, yada, yada… see You Tube clip below.

Liberals like Durbin, Obama, Olberman Rosie and Joy are just insufferable.
How you liberals manage to function with your colossal ignorance is beyond me. Not to mention being paid millions of dollars by advertisers to voice retarded views.
What a country!

Blood in the Water

Thursday, April 12th, 2007
free.jpgLiberals see this whole Imus situation as a way to rid themselves of the problem of talk radio. Now that they’ve succeeded in getting MSNBC to pull Imus’ program, they’ll concentrate on CBS .. trying to get the radio show cancelled. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if they succeed. Then they will turn their attention to the rest of us. The tape recorders will be running. There is not one single significant right-of-center radio talk show out there that is not going to come under fire. Liberals know — they’ve proven it to themselves — that they simply cannot succeed in talk radio. So, it’s all very simple. If they can’t succeed, destroy the genre. Their original plan was to wait until Democrats control the congress and the White House and then murder talk radio with the so-called “Fairness Doctrine.” Now that they’re on the verge of having a talk radio scalp on their belts as retribution for a bad and mean-spirited joke, they see that they may not have to wait for the electorate to give them the power.

In the meantime… while the race industry is calling for the head of Don Imus, we have Crystal Gail Mangum of North Carolina. Who is she? She is the woman who falsely accused three members of the Duke lacrosse team of rape. Her unsubstantiated charges resulted in a media firestorm against Duke University and these lacrosse players.

Would you like to spend a few moments comparing the effect of Mangum’s charges on the Duke lacrosse team and Imus’ words on the Rutgers woman’s basketball team? Sure! Why not! Now, let’s see ……

Liberal Land rejoices as moron tries to slam Snoop. Funny!

dickhead.jpgMany of you have no doubt seen the Rosie video I posted a few days ago, currently over 300,000 views, fat ass obviously stirred up lots of emotions.

The great thing is I have thousands of comments from retarded liberals who obviously don’t fucken get it.
I knew the You Tube community was mostly liberal but I had no clue how much.

I have not even begun to process the idiot liberal comments, there are some great comments from the right leaning folks as well.

I wanted to highlight one comment I viewed this morning from Nix10304, this dude, bastard from overseas, no doubt the type that marches in those idiot fucken parades displaying anti-American, anti-Bush, anti-troop crap.
Some pathetic elitist, stick up his ass know it all who is totally convinced that America is no doubt evil, imperialistic, greedy and that we all should be bowing to terrorist Muslims, flooding our country will illegal aliens, living in communes and singing peace chants.

He certainly is convinced that he is smarter, well read, more tolerant and convinced that if you love this country and are willing to stand up for it that you are no doubt a fool and know no better. You have been brainwashed and manipulated by Karl Rove.

The bottom line is this, I believe in free speech, I further believe that idiots like Rosie and this dude should NEVER be silenced; their stupidity should be put on display.

So cheers to the idiot fuck, from your friendly 43 year old, Nigga who calls himself Snoop! Peace and thanks for the laugh and the blog material. Enjoy your 15 minutes jackass!

*******

Seriously, read a book.
Also, your ‘response’ video was rubbish.

Your views perpetuate hate, which is clearly indicative of a serious problem you have with yourself.

I have never heard such easily-refutable nonsense in all my 29 years.
You are 43 and refer to yourself as ’snoop…’. which, I might add, seems insanely sad.

I don’t mean to be personal but I simply had to contact you after watching Rosie O’Donnell clearly and eloquently state her case whilst the pretty blonde (idiot of a ) woman regurgitated the spiel that mindless drones like yourself have been spoon-fed for years.

Look up the word liberal too. People like yourself tend to bandy this word around as an apparent insult.
You really do make yourself look rather silly when you do that.

I am British and especially proud to be.
However, I believe I could provide you with a much more accurate depiction of your country, fact by documented fact.

Don’t espouse hate. Educate yourself for the sake of humanity.

Please.

Free speech debate on bumper sticker grows

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007
bush2.gifTopeka (link) — A legislative staffer who put an anti-war bumper sticker with a profanity on her car and parked it in the Statehouse garage upset one lawmaker and had the governor and others debating the limits of free speech.

Ashley Holm’s sticker created speculation that her full-time, yearlong paid internship with the Legislative Research Department was in jeopardy, although the lawmaker who complained said he didn’t seek to have her fired. It wasn’t clear Monday whether any action had been taken, and the sticker was still visible in the garage. Holm’s assigned space is in a high-traffic area.

The red bumper sticker contains only two words in white — the f-word followed by “war.”

Political Party Poop has a policy not to sensor news stories to protect peoples feelings and sensibilities. The sticker said “FUCK WAR.”

Hell I saw several “Fuck Bush”, “Fuck War” “Fuck Imperialism” signs at the protest in DC.
Why would someone want to sensor these people?
This intern is obviously an idiot and showing a massive lack of judgment.
Not only is she pissing off people that could screw up her career down the road SHE PUT A BUMPER STICKER ON HER CAR!

Snoop thinks that anyone who puts bumper stickers on a car is a moron. Now if your car is a junker and jacked up and you put a sticker on your car for shits and grins that is one thing, but when I see folks putting stickers on really nice cars, I’m not paying attention to you silly message I’m thinking what an idiot!
Why don’t you people put it on your damm house? Oh that would be silly huh?
