Fred Thompson Says Fox News Biased

Monday, November 26th, 2007

From the blog Pam’s House Blend

What do you know — we have a genius observation from the GOP Clown Car. The presidential hopeful and Law & Order actor seems to have felt the love from the “fair and balanced” network. Pull out the tiny violin. (The Hill):

Former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.) suggested on Sunday that Fox News is biased against his campaign, charging that the network highlights commentators who have been critical of his run for the presidency. In an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” host Chris Wallace pressed Thompson on how some conservatives have lambasted Thompson’s campaign and showed clips of Fox conservative commentators Charles Krauthammer and Fred Barnes criticizing the former senator.

Thompson said, “This has been a constant mantra of Fox, to tell you the truth.” He noted that other conservatives have praised his bid for the GOP nomination and took issue with a Fox promo that focused on polling in New Hampshire, where Thompson is registering in the single digits.

Thompson, in a firm, but measured tone, scolded Wallace: “…for you to highlight nothing but the negatives in terms of the polls and then put on your own guys who have been predicting for four months, really, that I couldn’t do it, kind of skew things a little bit. There’s a lot of other opinion out there.”

Susan Estrich: Traitor….to the left

Monday, August 13th, 2007

foxnews.jpgThis is Susan E talking about the idiot liberals’ drug induced obsession and hatred with Fox News.
Ya know I’m a pretty simple dude, maybe that tis why I don’t understand the liberals hatred of a freaking news network.

Yes, I think the media bias is a bit out of control, but as a conservative I’m use to it, I expect them to be biased, I expect anti-right spin and distortion, however I don’t HATE MSNBC, NBC, ABC whatever. I would never call for those networks to be off the air, banned, have debates steered from those networks or any type of censorship.

As much as I hate Keith Olberman, and I clearly think he is a moronic bastard, I don’t want him off the air, hell him being on the air is good for the right. He is the poster child for “anemic grey matter syndrome” typically found in left leaning learning disabled types who are obsessed with George Bush and tax cuts.

I have always thought to myself, if I were to get to the point where I would advocate the censorship of any news or media resource then I would be clearly in need of the straight jacket and the padded rooms.

Liberals are increasingly getting more and more anti-free speech and I’m not exactly sure why this is.
Props to Susan for standing up and speaking out against this nonsense, but you can bet she will pay a high price for this piece.

By Susan Estrich - Fox NewsIt’s the unbridled ugliness that gets to me, the people who don’t disagree but hate, don’t criticize but attack with a sledgehammer, use language I wouldn’t use with my worst enemy. Often, very often actually, the subject of their ire isn’t even anything I say, but the mere fact that I say it or write it on Fox News.

People who would never say such things in public write them online, free to expose and explore their darkest side, at the expense of whoever is unfortunate enough to find themselves on the wrong web page. And what’s almost as stunning as the ugliness is how few people dare to stand up and condemn it, to say that it’s wrong, to put their money where their mouths are.

###

If you don’t like FOX News, you don’t have to watch it. If you’d rather hear from people with different points of view, they are out there. Watch them. Listen to them. Write invective-free letters to FOX telling them what you’ll watch and what you won’t. But boycotts and countervailing boycotts? Threatening advertisers? Harrassing those of us who believe it’s important that the other side be heard?

We may have a disagreement on whether it’s the right strategy to go on a network whose hosts you often disagree with (as conservatives do with MSNBC) or not, but that shouldn’t turn allies into enemies, or those you disagree with into traitors.

Traitors are people who turn on our country, not who appear on a news network you don’t like. Enemies are people who would kill our children, not those who agree to debate those you don’t want to watch. Both sides are guilty of destroying public discourse in the guise of engaging in it, but hearing that the Left is as bad as the Right, or vice versa, doesn’t excuse either side.

Outrage over girl fight on You Tube , but Fox keeps airing video

Wednesday, June 13th, 2007

Ok this is funny.
I have access to TV and I usually have some sort of news on while listening to Rush.
I checking out Fox News and most of the morning and there is this story about this Girl fight that was posted to You Tube (since removed) two teens (white girls) fighting over some thug ass black dude.

This is a clip with one of the girls in the video with her dad.
Now as you will see the dad is more outraged over the video being posted to You Tube as oppose to trying to figure out why his daughter would be hanging out with a bunch of thug ass felons.

I love how the Fox anchor babes are acting like they are outraged as well but the clip of this has been playing on Fox all morning long dozens and dozens of times even during news teases.

I don’t know if it was getting as much play on any other channel ( I did watch MSNBC for over 90 min, did not see)  but I just loved how the Fox anchor babe said “I hope they pull this off of you tube” while they continue to play over and over.

Rush segment on Dick “Turban” Durbin the Fairness Doctrine, Barrack: “verbal violence”

Wednesday, April 18th, 2007

Yes leftist elected officials using the tragedy to blame conservative talk radio and guns for the deaths at Virginia Tech, while ignoring the fact that this sick bastard gave off all the warning signs that he was nuts long before the shooting.

But Noooooo, “fat ass” Rosie wants to blame it on the NRA, Fox News, Republicans, Jesus, whoever yada, yada, yada… see You Tube clip below.

Liberals like Durbin, Obama, Olberman Rosie and Joy are just insufferable.
How you liberals manage to function with your colossal ignorance is beyond me. Not to mention being paid millions of dollars by advertisers to voice retarded views.
What a country!

The View: Gun Control now! More “Fox News misleads America” propaganda

Wednesday, April 18th, 2007

Rosie sad she can’t run America with her moronic liberal views.

Joy: Fox news, “they are a bunch of liars”

GAG: Barbara feels bad for Rosie, The View wants GUN CONTROL NOW!

Rosie: “If you want to be distracted by what is going on in Washington watch Fox news”

Rupert Murdock is evil!

Let me just say, people who always tell me that Fox news is biased, and completely ignore the fact that every other news organization is biased is a fool.

As a person on the right I have never said to anyone, don’t watch ABC, NBC, CBS or read the New York Times or any other fishwrap.

I believe that people should have access to all news sources and watch all news sources and you be the one that decides what news source is worthy of your time.

Liberals want to run this FOX NEWS IS A BUNCH OF LIARS bullshit because they simply want to “control” the information that people receive.

So to Rosie and Joy fuck off, I am smart enough to decipher the news that I receive.
Idiot bastards!

Open mic catches Condi saying how much she loves “my Fox guys”

Thursday, January 11th, 2007

Found this on Hot Air

It’s not her praise for Fox that’ll excite the excitables. It’s the pronoun.

Story by Reuters but I’m using the CNN link. Just because.

foxnews2.JPGSecretary of State Condoleezza Rice let slip her news media preferences Thursday, saying, “I love every single one” of Fox News network’s correspondents and also favors CBS anchor Harry Smith.

In comments overheard on an open microphone between morning television interviews, including one with Fox, the top U.S. diplomat said: “My Fox guys, I love every single one of them.”

Spruiell thinks it’s funny how mics keep “accidentally” getting left on around Bush and Condi, followed by the recordings “accidentally” making their way into the media. Not ha-ha funny, like a clown. The other kind of funny.

The ha-ha funny part is the fact that she names Harry Smith as her other fave. Harry Smith? Newsbusters’s perpetual whipping boy?
