They said it: “man this dude is Krazy!” “you sir are an idiot” “you are a lunatic” “are you really black?” “meanest, most divisive, most irrelevant blog I have ever read”
First, Michael Mukasey says there will be no prosecutions forthcoming in the Justice Department nonscandal, and now comes the delicious news that non-undercover CIA agent Valerie Plame has her bogus lawsuit against Vice President Cheney dismissed.
A U.S. appeals court on Tuesday dismissed former CIA analyst Valerie Plame’s lawsuit against Vice President Dick Cheney and several former Bush administration officials for disclosing her identity to the public.
Want to know just how beholden Democrats are to the ultra-left members of their Party?
Well, consider that Elizabeth Edwards actually posted an apology for her husband’s affair — as well as her own complicity in hiding it from people that were working for and supporting his presidential campaign — at the extreme-left website Daily Kos.
This does not shock me at all. Both are scamming fraud fucks. John Edwards specifically wanted his interview to be on Nightline so he could delay the media blitz (And protect Obama, he is in Hawaii to avoid the media blitz, good timing!) and now Elizabeth “I have cancer, feel sorry for me” Edwards posts this bullshit apology on the ultra left Daily Kos, classic liberalism good move cater to your lunatic left fans first because they are the only ones dumb enough to give your idiot asses money and buy any propaganda shit you fraud fucks will say.
Liz knows only the loony left would be sympathetic to her situation and since she is going to stand by her man this simply political cover for the Edwards.
She is as much a fake and a fraud as her husband and if the Breck Girl’s words are true and he told her back in 2006 about the affair but she still went to campaign for this idiot fuck and scammed millions of idiot liberals out of their money she is just as much a crook fraud as her husband. Look for her to try to become another Hillary.
I believe that the Edwards are both sincere in their stated positions about poverty, health care and other issues.
Ok this part is bullshit in case y’all don’t remember Elizabeth Edwards said this:
Elizabeth Edwards made national news when she criticized the family’s across-the-road neighbor, Monty Johnson, for pulling a gun on trespassers and for not maintaining his “slummy” property.
“I don’t want my kids anywhere near some guy who when he doesn’t like somebody, the first thing he does is pull a gun out,” she said at the time. “It scares the business out of me.”
Don’t forget John Edwards said this:
“…I think every single candidate for president, Republican and Democratic have lives, personal lives, that indicate something about what kind of human being they are. And I think it is a fair evaluation for America to engage in to look at what kind of human beings each of us are, and what kind of president we’d make.”
and this
I think this President has shown a remarkable disrespect for his office, for the moral dimensions of leadership, for his friends, for his wife, for his precious daughter. It is breathtaking to me the level to which that disrespect has risen.
They are classic liberals, high brow, sanctimonious they don’t care about the poor or health care. They are rich if they gave a fuck about these issues you DON’T RUN FOR PUBLIC OFFICE TO ADDRESS THESE ISSUES, give money, start a foundation, work with groups dealing with the issue.
BUT Nooooooooo just like most typical liberals they want public adoration for the work they do. But when it does not work out they do shit like this:
Edwards ending college program
Former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards is pulling the plug on a scholarship program he started at an Eastern North Carolina high school — a program he once promised would be a model for the nation under an Edwards presidency.
Edwards’ presidential hopes have evaporated. And he recently informed Greene County officials that he would end the pilot program at Greene Central High School.
I’m sorry I got off track, liberals and their blatant fake fraud ass hypocrisy just makes me want to puke! Back to the dude from the Huffington Post
I can even believe that the reason they wanted Edwards to become president was to promote that agenda. To the extent that’s true, I totally agree with their ends but their means were so shortsighted, reckless, and potentially damaging to their own agenda that they can’t be ignored.
Just taking the Edwards current statements at their words, I am left with a very uncomfortable truth — both John and Elizabeth Edwards cynically used their marriage as a means to help John Edwards win an election. Right now, they are hoping that the emotional goodwill that they built up from their supporters will carry them through.
I’m sure I’ll get some angry comments here but if you’re an Edwards supporter, let me put this bluntly; if you gave John and Elizabeth Edwards time, money, support, or goodwill, they played you.
They made a conscious decision to make their relationship a focus throughout the campaign. That emotional goodwill you feel for them? They not only let you feel, they took actions and made statements specifically so you would feel it.
BINGO
What John Edwards did was not earth shattering or shocking but the fact is the BOTH Mr and Mrs. Edwards conned millions of folks to donate money for his sham campaign and again put the Democratic Party in jeopardy all without a hint of remorse.
His wife knew he was a cheating piece of shit fraud and stood side by side with this piece of shit fraud dude. She is equally as guilty and complicit in the fraud.
Stung by claims that he doesn’t really live in Florida, Democratic U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler said today that he will lease an apartment in his congressional district rather than declaring residency at the home of his in-laws.
Fox News personality Bill O’Reilly last week accused Wexler of being a bogus Floridian. The O’Reilly Report, acting on research by Wexler’s Republican challenger, noted that Wexler owns a home in Potomac, Md., and enrolls his children in school there. Wexler is registered to vote at the Delray Beach address of his wife’s parents.
Oh almost forgot! From Newsbusters: Will Media Report Concert Before Obama’s Berlin Speech? of course not, that is what the Blogsphere is for to pass on what the deceptive media fucks won’t. They only care that lots of people supposedly came out the see the Negro Messiah.
Let me peep you folks to something. I got a call yesterday from my dad and since he does not read my blog I can say this.
He calls after the Messiah speech and asks if I had seen it. He gushes that he had not seen anything so “wonderful” since Kennedy spoke over there in the 60’s.
He also noted that in contrast to the anti-American sentiment that is typically on display when Bush goes overseas it was a great site to see Germans waving American flags in support of a black man, “that was just truly remarkable and something I thought I would never see.”
I love my dad and since he is getting old he constantly forgets that I loathe the majority of Democrats and fraudulent fake ass symbolic liberals like Obama.
However this is proof positive that Obama got what he want. A good photo op, a time enduring one liner that will be played throughout history and a show that unfortunately dazzled old black folks like my dad and other black folks who crave the nostalgia of having a Magic Negro as president.

This from Noel Sheppard at Newsbusters
Remember back in May when media gushed and fawned over a huge crowd in Portland, Oregon — supposedly gathered to hear the words of Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama — but chose not to report the free concert given before his speech?
Well, it has been learned that before the presumptive Democrat nominee spoke to a crowd in Berlin Thursday, two popular German acts — reggae artist Patrice and rock band Reamonn — entertained the gathering audience.
Will media report this tonight, or just gush and fawn over the huge crowd again?
Who is a bigger liar fraud bastard, Obama or Hillary? It’s a damm coin flip!!

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrat Barack Obama admitted on Tuesday he was wrong to say his uncle helped liberate the Nazis’ Auschwitz concentration camp after Republicans said Soviet troops freed the camp.
Obama’s campaign said the candidate meant to say that his great-uncle, Charlie Payne, had helped liberate a part of the Buchenwald camp, not Auschwitz.
“Yesterday he mistakenly referred to Auschwitz instead of Buchenwald in telling of his personal experience of a soldier in his family who served heroically,” said Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton.
Burton said in the statement that Obama’s great uncle served in the 89th Infantry Division that entered Germany in 1945 and on April 4 overran Ohrdruf, a subcamp of the Buchenwald concentration camp.
Obama had made the Auschwitz reference in a Memorial Day speech on Monday.
More than 1 million people, most of them Jews, were killed at Auschwitz, an extermination camp in Poland. Buchenwald in Germany was mainly a forced labor camp, where some 56,000 people are believed to have died.
“I had an uncle who was … part of the first American troops to go into Auschwitz and liberate the concentration camps,” Obama said.
“And the story in our family was is that when he came home, he just went up into the attic and he didn’t leave the house for six months,” he said.
The Republican National Committee quickly pointed out that the Red Army had liberated Auschwitz in 1945, not American forces.
(link) House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is fond of quoting a particular passage of Scripture. The quote, however, does not appear in the Bible and is fictional, according to biblical scholars.
In her April 22 Earth Day news release, Pelosi said, The Bible tells us in the Old Testament, “To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.” On this Earth Day, and every day, let us pledge to our children, and our children’s children, that they will have clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature.
Cybercast News Service repeatedly queried the speaker’s office for two days to determine where the alleged Bible quote is found. Thus far, no one has responded.
Claude Mariottini, a professor of Old Testament at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, told Cybercast News Service the passage not only doesn’t exist - it’s fictional.
“It is not in the Bible,” Mariottini said. There is nothing that even approximates that.
In the age of Google, the internet and blogs how dumb do you have to be as a politician to just start making up quotes from the most-published books of all time?
######
Cybercast News Service has learned that Pelosi has repeatedly used the quote:– In December 2005, in a Christmas message to the U.S. House of Representatives, Pelosi said: “Mr. Speaker, as we leave for this Christmas recess, let us say, ‘God bless you’ to the American people by voting against this Republican budget and statement of injustice and immorality, and let us not let the special interest goose get fat at the expense of America’s children.“The gentleman from Washington [state], Mr. McDermott, quoted the prophet Isaiah. And as the Bible teaches us, to minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship, to ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us. Let us vote no on this budget as an act of worship and for America’s children.”– On Feb. 8, 2007, in remarks before the U.S. House Science and Technology Committee, when it held hearings on global warming, she used the same quote, verbatim, as in her Earth Day release.
– On April 6, 2007, in congressional remarks before the Easter recess: “In this Holy Week, we are reminded of these words in the Old Testament: ‘To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.’ We must move quickly to honor God’s creation by reducing greenhouse gas pollution in the United States and around the world.”
– On April 25, 2007, in a speech to the League of Conservation Voters in Washington, D.C.: “We are now charging ahead to tackle one of humanity’s greatest challenges yet - global warming. We will do this because we hold our children’s future in our hands - not our grandchildren, or great-grandchildren, but our own children. “As it says in the Old Testament, ‘To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.’”
– On Oct. 22, 2007, in a television interview with PBS host Tavis Smiley, she used it in discussion of her roots, attributing the quote to the book of Isaiah: “I’m raised in a family in Baltimore, Maryland, my father was the mayor. He was in Congress when I was born. And we were devoutly Catholic, very patriotic. We love America. Devoutly Catholic, deeply patriotic, proud of our Italian American heritage, and in our case, staunchly Democratic.
“And that faith was related to our Democratic values. That is to say, the gospel of Matthew: ‘When I was hungry, you gave me to eat.’ You know, the least of our brethren. So that’s an inspiration in the New Testament. In the Old Testament, Isaiah says, ‘To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the god who made us.’” Mis-remembered? Mis-paraphrased?
Have you visited Fred Thompson’s campaign website lately? Probably not, what with how he was the world’s lamest candidate and nobody voted for him and he won nothing and then he woke up and quit. That explains why his website is now blank, except for the word “Success.” [Fred ‘08]
What’s in a Name? - John McCain: “the leader of the loyal opposition.”
Monday, February 18th, 2008
It’s easy to forget that the Arizona senator is not, in fact, a Democrat. In the past year he has stood against his party on so many prominent and contentious issues that his concurrences with GOP dogma have become more of an exception than a rule. In the conservative media, he has become a figure of vilification on par with Tom Daschle.
Last fall, when his name came up in a meeting of House Republicans, he was booed. And it is no exaggeration to say that he has co-sponsored virtually the entire domestic agenda of the Democratic Party. One prominent Democrat enthuses, “He’s the leader of the loyal opposition.” Typically that role falls to a leader of the opposition party. But the most popular and effective champion of the Democratic Party’s values isn’t Tom Daschle. It’s John McCain.
And at a moment when the party is casting about for a leader to define it against a popular president, and McCain is casting about for a home after his virtual expulsion from the GOP, there is an obvious solution to both dilemmas: John McCain ought to become a Democrat–and a presumptive front-runner for the party’s presidential nomination in 2004.
Reading, writing and . . . global warming?A Silicon Valley lawmaker is gaining momentum with a bill that would require “climate change” to be among the science topics that all California public school students are taught.
The measure, by state Sen. Joe Simitian, D-Palo Alto, also would mandate that future science textbooks approved for California public schools include climate change.
“You can’t have a science curriculum that is relevant and current if it doesn’t deal with the science behind climate change,” Simitian said. “This is a phenomenon of global importance and our kids ought to understand the science behind that phenomenon.”
The state Senate approved the bill, SB 908, Jan. 30 by a 26-13 vote. It heads now to the state Assembly. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has taken numerous actions to reduce global warming, but he has yet to weigh in on Simitian’s bill. Other Republicans in the Capitol, however, are not happy about the proposal.
Who cares if Fred joins some Faux Republicans ticket…
Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008
This dude from the Fred campaign says that Fred is considering joining some candidates’ ticket as the VP because as he describes he can be the so called “conservative” wing of a presidential ticket.
Is this a fucken joke? I would love to hear someone say to me that they would consider voting for one of these fraud ass Republicans simply because a loser is content with occupying the ribbon cutting wing of the White House.
Nobody gives a fuck about the VP and I seriously doubt that the soon to be former Thompson supporters would say “gee that McCain or Huckabee candidacy is looking real good with “conservative” Fred on the ticket.
Fred obviously did what he did best, or maybe not so well, play a conservative on the campaign trail. All he did was mimic one of Rush’s monologues that played well to his supporters for a minute.
The best thing Fred can do is just go away. Find a new movie role and go home and play with your kids.
You know you’re pathetic when you point to a state where you got 14% of the vote in a state caucus where you ran the only TV ads. An LA Times blogger enthuses:
Boy, oh, boy! Hidden behind all the hoopla, headlines and the Nevada caucus victories of Mitt Romney and Hillary Clinton is one little-noticed but stunning political development and number:Ron Paul, the one-time Libertarian candidate and 10-term Republican congressman from Texas, was in second place. That’s right, Second Place. The 72-year-old ob-gyn who’s always on the end of the line at GOP debates or barred altogether, was running ahead of John McCain, Fred Thompson, Rudy Giuliani, in fact, ahead of….all other Republicans except Romney, who easily captured his second state in a week after Michigan.
Woooooot! The Ron Paul Love Revolution is surging!
Add Jeff Goldstein to the list: I will not, will not, vote for John McCain.Oh, and he won’t vote for Mike Huckabee, either, and would have to hold his nose to vote for Mitt Romney. If Fred doesn’t win the nomination then Jeff’s going to sit this one out. LOL! Funniest thing Goldstein’s ever written. One of John Hawkins’ weekend guests does a little DQ herself:Jeff captures my ennui perfectly. And this reminds me of what I’ve written before: bloggers are a different breed than the average American. The air we breath on the conservative side is as rarefied as the air breathed in newsrooms around America. No, it’s as rarefied as the air breathed in the liberal blogosphere. And I mean that seriously. The idiot lib-bloggers spent all of 2006 trying to beat a Democrat because he was an apostate on one issue. The conservative bloggers look like they’re going to be spending all of 2008 trying to beat a Republican because he was an apostate on one issue. And don’t try to convince me it’s more than that one issue. McCain-Feingold? Tell me that you’re seriously going to sit out an election because of campaign finance laws. Torture (which Goldstein mentions)? Hey, I disagree with the senator on that issue, but guess what? He actually knows what torture is like, unlike Jeff or me.
You know, everybody on the conservative side of the aisle got a big laugh out of the gag that Hillary’s new theme song was, “It’s My Party, and I’ll Cry If I Want To”, and now what happens? Less than two weeks later, they’re singing it too!
*****************
Oh what the hell, so I’m a drama Queen Conservative Blogger, I’m still not voting for McCain. John McCain can kiss my black ass and any blogger who is supporting him who wants to write this trifling bullshit chastising me for my political decision making can also kiss my black ass.
I said before and I will keep saying, the Democrats can have the fucken White House; I don’t give a shit anymore.
McCain all of these years has been comfortable with kissing the collective asses of Democrats and he is frankly more comfortable with them than he is with his right leaning homies.
The more posts like this I read from McCain pimps just makes me laugh.
Fucken people on these radio talks shows getting on the air and sounding off about these sorry ass candidates, it’s not only irritating it is downright embarrassing.
The political contenders in this election cycles, candidates on both sides of the political aisle are all idiots. I must admit that I frankly feel like a complete jackass for falling for Freds faux candidacy. It was clear that he did not want the gig, I knew this from the beginning but I was searching for something, anything to latch on to. I was a fool, particularly since I posted my support here.
That won’t happen again.
Nobody can convince me that any of these people are worthy of my vote, they all suck; America has successfully fucked the presidential selection process. I seriously doubt that we will ever have a candidate who is truly worthy of the position.
Anyone worthy of the position is too smart to run.
We will be forever left with sinister, lying ass, soulless, pandering slugs who are not even deserving of being mayor of Mayberry much less the most powerful position on the planet.
All these candidates need to do is bullshit (lie to) enough dolts, speak somewhat eloquently blurt out a few crap phrases and magically you have a candidate.
John McCain supporters keep bringing up his time in the Hanoi Hilton, like being a POW automatically shoots you to the front of the presidential line.
POW or not, if your political ideology is full of holes, then you won’t get my vote.
If that draws the ire of you McCain supporters then screw you.
If Fred joins McCain ticket, then he is not the “conservative” I thought he was…

This from Hot Air - post entitled: What if McCain named Fred as his VP?
A follow-up to Bryan’s post yesterday. Note well the results of Ruffini’s poll: Fred’s continued presence in the race is killing Romney, especially in Florida where he’s got double digits banked but probably won’t do better than fourth or fifth. If Huckabee was still a threat to win it’d be worth having Thompson around to take votes from him too, but he isn’t so it isn’t. All Huck is now is a stalking horse for McCain, lingering on to bleed social con votes from Mitt; if Fred stays in he’s playing the same part, a ball and chain on Romney’s other ankle in the first primary where Maverick can’t rely on Democrats and independents to push him through. Some Fredheads are fantasizing about him trudging along in hopes of a brokered convention, where he’d end up being the compromise candidate. So a guy who not only couldn’t win a primary but couldn’t do better than third place and the mid-teens even in the south is going to be The Man in November? Sounds like a plan. The Politico piece linked above speculates that McCain may promise the VP slot to Huckabee to stay in but he’s got enough problems with conservatives that he can’t afford another “centrist” on the ticket. So … how about Fred? I hear that Rich Galen, one of Fred’s advisors, was pitching the idea on Fox News radio this a.m. He’d give McCain instant credibility with the base, especially on immigration, and the Fredheads would thrill to the possibility of McCain retiring after one term, leaving their guy the presumptive nominee in 2012.
I have listened to Fred talk positively about McCain and their friendship. I listened to people ask why Fred did not talk openly about McCain’s liberal tendencies and not this shit.
I don’t give a shit, who McCain has on his ticket, I won’t vote for him under any circumstances. He is too tied to Democrats.
Like so many others have said, his nomination would destroy the GOP. I’m almost thinking good, I hope the GOP and its leftward tilt crashes and burns.
If Thompson backs him, especially if he joins his ticket I will have lost all respect for him.
If Thompson backs McCain then all of his political “conservative” preaching was frankly bullshit.
I stated in an earlier post, my contempt for these faux conservatives GOP jackasses compromising their principals for the obligatory political expediency and now you have this post and other pundits who I guess think that true conservatives can be pacified by throwing us knuckleheads a bone, I’m like fuck that.
I have the most basic respect for McCain and his service to the nation and the fact that he was a POW and all that, but I hold his political views in contempt and don’t trust his closet liberal ass.
“Crying Hillary” Questioner Has Hosted Hillary Events & Was a Jimmy Carter Photographer
Wednesday, January 9th, 2008
Another example of why I like my blog homies on the right, exposing revelations like this most of us simple folks would never be privy to.
There is nothing earth shattering about this, but it just goes to show you how every tiny little detail of any presidential political campaign needs to be scrutinized.
Anyone who does not believe that her fake cry and emotion bullshit was not staged and calculated is a fool.
This tells me that she is genuinely worried. This early in the campaign she uses the gender card, the crying beat down woman, particularly since the “focus groups” said she was a cold calculating person. People see through her crap, they are not falling for her bullshit.
So she stages this fake ass crying moment, amazing!!
Clinton gets “surprise” visit from Sunday school teacherDONNELLSON, Iowa (AP) - Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton got a surprise visit from her past today.
At a stop in Donnellson, someone asked about her faith. Clinton said she’s a practicing Methodist.
Someone then pointed out that Clinton’s childhood Sunday school teacher was in the audience.
Clinton rushed over to hug her teacher, Rosalie Bentzinger.
Bentzinger gave Clinton a picture of the New York senator’s confirmation class from 1959.
Campaign aides say they were unaware that Bentzinger, who was with a friend of Clinton’s, was in the crowd.
Someone had to “point her out”? Hillary couldn’t remember her teacher from having seen her again just a few months ago?
Why did so many of the “undecided voters” who asked questions at last week’s Democrat debate turn out to be either anti-war, labor, race politics or Democrat party activists?
Looks like GWU student reporter Sarah Marshak, would fit right in at ABC News, The New Republic, CBS, the NYTimes, etc., etc., etc. She was caught on tape faking anti-Semitic hate against herself:
After evaluating evidence from a hidden camera positioned in response to the swastika postings in Mitchell Hall, University Police have linked the student who filed the complaints to several of the incidents.Following a final interview with investigators today, the student admitted responsibility for those incidents.
The individual will now face student judicial action and a determination will be made as to whether District of Columbia and/or federal laws were violated. No other suspects in the Mitchell Hall incidents were identified at any point through use of the hidden camera, interviews, or increased patrols of the residence hall.
Nooses are in the news lately. I’m relieved that no one has been found hanging from any of them. All that any lamebrain has to do in order to make news, it seems, is to tie a rope into a noose and hang the knotty symbol of segregation-era lynchings in a conspicuous place.
A news database search of “noose” quickly turned up one found recently at a Long Island police station locker room, another in a tree on the University of Maryland campus and another in a black Coast Guard cadet’s bag aboard a cutter. A noose found on the office door of a black professor at Columbia University in New York led to a student-led antiracism rally, which national news cameras dutifully covered.
Reported noose sightings have risen nationally in the months since nooses dangling from a schoolyard tree raised racial tensions in Jena, La. Or maybe it is just the reports of noose sightings that has risen. Since thousands of demonstrators, including the Revs. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, descended on Jena for a highly publicized march in September, news media seem to be running to noose stories like children to an overturned candy truck.
Is there any doubt that Tom Harkin is a MoveOn.org Democrat?None. None at all.Harkin attacking Rush Limbaugh on the Senate floor:
Well, I don’t know. Maybe he was just high on his drugs again. I don’t know whether he was or not. If so, he ought to let us know. But that shouldn’t be an excuse.
In 2002, Senator Harkin gave a nationally televised and controversial eulogy for Senator Paul Wellstone, a close ally in the Senate who perished in a plane crash 11 days before his potential re-election. In the eulogy, Harkin urged the crowd to “stand up for Paul” and talked about “passing on Paul’s legacy” and to win the 2002 Senate election “For Paul” — statements that drew loud cheers and were interpreted by some as overt political references and inappropriate for a memorial service.
While running for his Senate seat in 1984, and again while running for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1992, Harkin has faced criticism for claiming that he had flown combat missions over North Vietnam. In a 1979 round table discussion with other Congressional Veterans, Harkin said of his service as a Navy pilot: “One year was in Vietnam. I was flying F-4s and F-8s on combat air patrols and photo-reconnaissance support missions”. These comments were later published in a 1981 book by David Broder. After subsequent inquiries by Barry Goldwater and The Wall Street Journal, Harkin clarified that that he had been stationed in Japan and sometimes flew recently repaired aircraft on test missions over Vietnam. His service flying F-4s and F-8s was later, while he was stationed in Cuba. References to this controversy were deleted from Wikipedia by staffers from Harkin’s senate office.
In June 2001, the Des Moines Register reported that Senator Harkin had “inadvertently omitted” $200,000 in Conoco stock owned by his wife Ruth and some $15,000 owned by their daughter Amy on his Senate financial statement.
In 2003/2004 Harkin remained neutral in the race for the Democratic nomination for president, until 11 days before the Iowa caucus, when he endorsed Vermont Governor Howard Dean. Dean was then considered the front runner, but his support plummeted in the final week and he finished a weak third, twenty points behind the winner John Kerry. Harkin stood behind Dean as the Governor delivered his now infamous “Scream” speech on the night of his defeat. Some criticized Harkin for jumping on the Dean bandwagon, while he admitted to some that Missouri Congressman Richard Gephardt was actually his favorite candidate. Harkin soon distanced himself from Dean and urged him to drop out of the race.
In September of 2006 Senator Harkin commented on Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez’s September 20th 2006 United Nations speech in which Chavez referred to President George Bush as the devil. Senator Harkin said that while Chavez’s comments were “incendiary,” he could “… understand the frustration, ah, and the anger of certain people around the world because of George Bush’s policies”.
In September of 2007, Harkin demanded apology from General Pace - the week before Pace’s military retirement - for condemning homosexuality and adultery in the military (remember his “Roman Catholic” designation). After Pace mentioned that the UCMJ prohibits both of these activites, Harkin voiced his desire to have the code changed to accommodate homosexuality and adultery. (AP, Sept 27, 2007)
Have you heard about the latest “controversy” involving Rush Limbaugh that has been made up from scratch by Media Matters and relentlessly promoted by the left side of the blogosphere? Well, no worries, I’ll tell you all about it.Here’s what Media Matters is claiming Rush Limbaugh said, Limbaugh: Service members who support U.S. withdrawal are “phony soldiers.”
Now, you might actually conclude from reading that headline that Rush Limbaugh said that, Service members who support U.S. withdrawal are “phony soldiers.”
Actually, he didn’t.
Once again, here’s the headline, from Media Matters,
Limbaugh: Service members who support U.S. withdrawal are “phony soldiers.”
Continue reading here what Rush Limbaugh actually said, during a conversation with a caller. Also go to his site Rushlimbaugh.com if you REALLY give a shit.
Ah hell I was not sure I wanted to post this, but since dude on Right Wing did a piece on this “phony” outrage, I figured my Poop readers should get the 411.
You know while on one hand I really getting tired of Media Matters and their blatant distortion of the facts on shit they have on their site, I kinda understand why they do what they do and why they are so successful at smear.
I heard on Rush’s show some of the comments made by some liberal Democrats denouncing what Rush said, I always have to remind myself that Democrats and liberals are never interested in truth, it’s simply about winning and Media Matters knows that the majority of their kook constituents only priority is getting their people in office at all costs.
Now don’t get me wrong, the purpose of this blog is to post stuff that interests me and my political views and yes, I want “my side to win.”
But I have never knowingly posted 411 here that I knew was bullshit just so I can make a fucking cheep political point.
Democrats must use deception to stay in power, but the scary thing is it works like a charm.
I’m dumbfounded at how many websites posted bullshit about O’Reilly and how they took his comments out of context when after reading further, few if any actually read or heard the comments themselves.
I’m perplexed at the vast differences in simple logic between the right blogsphere and the left.
Blogger on the right, in most cases go out of their way to get to the bottom of a story or issue and actively seek to get as much firm details on an issue as possible and the rarely comment and post shit unless they have their fucken facts straight.
Media Matters has these crackpot liberals by the mental ballz. It’s apparent that liberals can’t process information unless it has been pissed on by Media Matters.
Here are a few examples:
(link) Media Matters for America is calling attention to a Rush Limbaugh rant from his show on Wednesday in which he dismisses U.S. troops, including those now serving in Iraq, who disagree with President Bush’s stay-until-victory strategy as “phony soldiers.” And my colleague Jeff Fecke at Blog of the Moderate Left wonders whether those, including Sen. Norm Coleman, who were outraged by the MoveOn.org ad that was insufficiently respectful toward Gen. David Petraeus, will bring equal energy to denouncing Limbaugh for being insufficiently respectful toward some of the troops.
*********
(link) Following the MoveOn non-controversy, some of our local dingbats went on a largely unnoticed mini-crusade to get WA-08 Congressional candidate Darcy Burner to condemn the anti-war organization’s ad. Now that Rush Limbaugh has said something that was considerably more offensive to our men and women in uniform, we’re certain that Mark Gardner and the rest of the fair and balanced wingnutosphere will demand WA-08 Congressman Dave Reichert condemn Limbaugh’s remarks.
Earlier today Republican hero and recovering drug addict Rush Limbaugh slandered thousands of American soldiers who are risking their lives overseas as “phony soldiers.” Why? Solely because they question the rationale for the Iraq War.

During the September 26 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, Rush Limbaugh called service members who advocate U.S. withdrawal from Iraq “phony soldiers.”
From the DCCC:
Chairman Chris Van Hollen Condemns Rush Limbaugh’s Outrageous Comment that Soldiers Who Support Withdrawing From Iraq Are “Phony Soldiers”
“Rush Limbaugh’s personal attack on our men and women in uniform is reprehensible. It minimizes the sacrifice our troops in Iraq and their families are making and has no place in the public discourse. Rush Limbaugh owes our military and their families an apology for his hurtful comments that minimize their service to our country.”

Soldiers from the 82nd Airborne in Iraq wrote a NY Times op-ed—criticizing the war in Iraq, and had the bravery to suggest that it was time to develop an exit strategy. Two of them just died. Are they phonies, Rush? Where’s the “sense of the Senate” on this outrage?
Let me be clear, I don’t give a shit that you oppose the U.S. being in Iraq, or oppose our Middle East policy, or how we use our troops or what our military priorities should be.
When I read lefty blog I’m interested in the discourse many provide and of course I don’t agree with much of it, but I think it’s important for me to be knowledgeable on issues and to remain grounded in my viewpoints I have an obligation (to myself) to be informed, understand and comprehend opposing viewpoints without filters. Whether it’s Media Matters or the MSM, John Stewart, Keith Olberman on the left, Newsbusters, Rush, O’Reilly on the right.
Especially since I dedicate so much time keeping up this paltry blog
Through my extensive blog reading on the right and left, watching the MSM, watching a lot of You Tube and taking in countless other political information sources I have a pretty fair grasp on the world around me and one thing that Rush taught me when I first started listening to his show (from day one) and why no other on air pundit comes close to him is he encourages his listeners to seek out the truth. Don’t simply take his word on issues, read and hear the bullshit on the left for yourself.
You should never be afraid at seeking opposing viewpoints and listening to opposing viewpoints.
This is why people who say they don’t watch Fox News are cowards and tells you everything you need to know about them intellectually.
I would never EVER, encourage anyone NOT to listen to a MSM network, a liberal talk show host, or a source like the NY Times, it’s not even logical.
Far too many people are just too fucken lazy to seek the truth on issues and choose to allow their minds to be filtered.
This is not about “standing up for” Rush, dude is a fucken multi-millionaire, he could care less what I think.
This is about simple honesty. If the goal of the left and lefty blogsphere is simply to WIN then by all means distort, lie, manipulate, conceal. Ignorance is obviously bliss in the liberal world.
I read this on Michelle Malkin and all I could do was smile.
I’ve said it before but it’s worth repeating. Although the right wing blogsphere is not quite as politically influential as the left overall it clearly is better at exposing MSM “bullshit.”
I don’t understand why the MSM still tries to pass off frauds like this story over the net with bloggers like LGF, Malkin, Blackfive and countless others on the case exposing the left at virtually every turn.
Props to all right leaning blog homies big and small!
