Liberals mourn the failed candidacy of the shiny hair fiend…

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

edwards21.jpg

“And then there were two. With John Edwards dropping out of the Democratic presidential race, we are losing a fierce and committed voice for change and for justice, and I, for one, feel that loss like an ache. One of the signature issues of his campaign — one that is near and dear to my own heart — was Edwards commitment to giving voice to those who have none in our money-driven political process. The Democratic party has long been the champion of the downtrodden and the folks in need, and we have sadly forgotten that obligation to the least of these our bretheren the last few years. John Edwards candidacy has been a daily reminder to pick up the charge of the better angels of our nature, and to speak up against those injustices that too often get shoved to the side for more monied and powerful interests….”

Cared for the poor? Plez!

This guy is crushed, lol!: I remember how I felt “punched in the gut” when Howard Dean dropped out last time around, after having promised to stay in. I was seriously grieving at that time…

“Crying Hillary” Questioner Has Hosted Hillary Events & Was a Jimmy Carter Photographer

Wednesday, January 9th, 2008

Another example of why I like my blog homies on the right, exposing revelations like this most of us simple folks would never be privy to.
There is nothing earth shattering about this, but it just goes to show you how every tiny little detail of any presidential political campaign needs to be scrutinized.
Anyone who does not believe that her fake cry and emotion bullshit was not staged and calculated is a fool.

Marianne Pernold Young the woman who asked Hillary the question that made her tear up about how “some people are ready to lead from day one and some people just aren’t” was an Ex-Jimmy Carter campaign photographer.mariannepernoldyoung.jpg

From her website, Marianne Pernold Young includes a photo of a previous client Jimmy Carter.

Do the Democrats run Comedy Central or are all the comedians on the payroll?

Monday, December 3rd, 2007

Below is a clip from another stupid Comedy Central special; shown are a few brief clips of Lewis Black doing his all too typical rant about George Bush.

Hey Mr. Black I hope you read this because I want to tell you something you fake ass bastard. Guess what, I voted for George Bush twice you asshole not because I am particularly fond of his overall intelligence and political savvy, but voting for the other Democrat assholes was NOT an option.
Al Gore who has now made global warming his personal ticket to financial riches was a man without an idea and simply rode on the coattails of the Clinton machine being the personal bitch of Hillary.
John Kerry was a total fraud, this anti-American Communist dictator, ass kissing punk ass rode on the coattails of his rich wife.
It was clear that the Democrats had two incredible chances to wrestle the presidency away from the Republicans and clearly they were two inept to do so.
So now I have to hear on every fucken comedy special these tired ass rants about how awful George Bush and Republicans are.
Frankly it’s tiresome and clearly the writers strike has affected you people to because every damm comedy routine I hear today is Democratic Party talking point masquerading as comedic brilliance.

Ah and you Mr. D.L. Hughley, I hope the Negro comics are as highly paid to promote the virtues of Democrats. Let me see, a racist Democrat calling a “loyal constituent” Buckwheat is apparently not funny enough for you people. Because it was a Democrat!
Or the comedy of a bunch of Negros and their fake outrage behind the Jena 6 supporting a bunch of Negro thugs, one who is not in jail, oh no, that tis not funny.
And the now revealed story about another fake noose story. Naw that shit ain’t funny but, that George Bush, now that’s funny!

I wonder just what the fuck are you people gong to do when G Dub leaves office?
Crawl in a fucken hole or move your tired asses of Canada? Oh I know you people are not going anywhere, even through all of the comedy ranting and pretend G Dub hating you know how well you have it here.

Now your Democrat options are the tired wife of a former presidential liar, an empty suite Negro who STILL has not uttered any true core values in any campaign speech or debates. Finally, a true liberal hypocrite, with the nation’s largest home while he goes around ranting about the “unfairness” of the “two America’s”. I would leave out his $400 haircuts but I figured if you want real comedy material I needed to mention that.

Seriously, again, I wonder just how much the Democrats pay these assholes to include anti-Republican tirades in their routines.
I hope that there are more people like myself that will start to point out this bullshit and start calling these idiot comedians out.

What Black rants about in this clip is now new, but I included a couple of clips from the “This Week” on ABC yesterday and this loony chick from The Nation, Katrina vanden Heuvel . Ask yourself what the hell is the difference between Louis Black’s bullshit and her bullshit?
Apparently, there is no difference between Sunday morning talk shows and Comedy Central these days.

Looney Liberal Rant: “Why we’re existing in a police state.”

Monday, September 24th, 2007

superretard.jpg

By Archangel M - The Daily Kos - Post Link

The recent assault, torture and arrest of University of Florida student Andrew Myer by campus cops is but the latest example of what has become an increasingly frequent phenomenon in the United States of America. When ass-kissing chickenshit David Petraeus lied his ass off before Congress about the failed “surge”, capitol hill police tackled and arrested a pentecostal minister, damaging his ankle in the process. His “crime”? Trying to get in to watch and listen to the hearings.

As reported in the Nation magazine, sixty-year old Carol Trainer — a Vietnam veteran — was arrested and hauled away as the mayor of Louisville, Kentucky sat and glared at her.

looneyleft1.jpgLast November, a student at UCLA was assaulted, tasered and arrested by campus cops, for failing to show his identification. A blogger who wrote about this abuse of power also pointed out how, in Houston, Texas that same month, a bunch of striking union workers were trampled by police on horseback, arrested, and subjected to what amounts to torture.

If you think America isn’t undergoing the same slide into fascist dictatorship today as Germany did in the 1930s, you’re kidding yourself. Each of the six examples of police brutality I cited, all of them against nonviolent students and protesters, has taken place within a roughly ten-month period. But where is the outrage in the mainstream media? Why aren’t the steps of the Capitol Building and the gates of the White House being flooded with protesters demanding accountability for abuses of executive power that has so permeated society that it infects our local police departments?

And therein lies one reason why this is happening. Although there has been some dissent, some outrage, it has been largely confined to the blogosphere and political discussion forums. People dare not stand up publicly against these police state tactics to silence dissent. They dare not risk being beaten down. Another reason, pointed out by the Rude Pundit, is that there are those in American society who not only actually approve of this shit, but go so far as to cheer it on! “Yeah!” they think. “Show them what they get for stepping out of line!”

Those two reasons, more than the brutal assaults on people and the First Amendment, are why America is devolving into a bad replay of Nazi Germany. The lack of national outrage, to the point we do something about it; and the support of it by mindless groupthinkers in society who are so stupid they think it’s a good thing that we’re being subjected to tyranny.

God help us all.

Warning! Snoop rant:

protest82.jpgOk this is funny, after reading this it reminded me of Ahmadinejad’s recently completed incoherent propaganda rant.

All hell, how many times and how many ways can I say “liberals have issues!”

Again this is an example of not necessarily giving a shit about what this moronic dude has to say only to point out the exorbitant level of ill logic exhibited by these people.

The bad thing about the Daily Kos site these days is there are so many of these people writing diaries and I believe that in order to get noticed they write crazier and zanier entries ranting like little children in order to get attention.

It’s one thing to have a valid political point, it is quite another to pull out the vestiges of a truly evil time period where the shadow of a murderous dictator loomed over the entire world.

Here we have some young jackass supposedly educating the rest of us dolts, no doubt living with his parents or barricaded in some college dorm or dank dark apartment complete with video games galore and no doubt the latest Halo, stale pizza, cigarette butts acting as carpeting reeking with the stench of your typical discharge accident from too much alcohol consumption.

I’m a 43 year old black man and it would be disingenuous of me to write entries talking about the evils that existed back in the true Jim Crow era, whites only signs, segregated hotels, restaurants, drinking fountains or to try and process the pending threat that was Hitler and communism.
How the fuck could some young mentally challenged individual even begin to process the notion that America is slipping into this fascist state, when I just finished watching some pinhead moronic dictator speak at one of this nations most prestigious universities not to mention that the event was simulcast on FOX NEWS!

The University of Florida student was a prankster and a typical college aged jackass, brash, arrogant spoiled pricks. I see all too often these self-absorbed frat boy sorostitutes types wandering the university grounds, cell phones stuck to the ear paying little or no attention to the world around them or that car about the strike them.
This generation of emotionally challenged individuals find it difficult to respect those outside of their entourage.
As much as I detest John Kerry, he and that audience deserved respect, but college aged pranksters have hindered free speech by acting like a bunch of ignorant fucks which is precisely why few right leaning types venture to college campuses anymore.
Foolish and moronic behavior is the norm.

Here in Lawrence we have an institution where national and world leaders not to mention prominent political figures and Pulitzer Prize winning columnists regularly speak and the only time you see students attending is when they are offered “extra credit” or some incentive for attending.
When the speaker does not fit the typical liberal ideology the talk is ether ignored or some phony protest with the stereotypical passing out of “fact” sheets with erroneous information.
Liberals are not interested in acquiring knowledge only promoting their twisted spin on the world and crying when the would does not fit in their little bow wrapped gift box.

I’ll give you one example: Recently while speaking to a student, very nice young lady, smart, motivated in the process of getting her masters, we were discussing Iraq and setting aside the particulars the point I want to focus on was she said she “hated George Bush for getting us into this war.”
Now I never want to get into a debate on the semantics of whether or not we should or should not be in Iraq with folks, what I always focus on when speaking to a young person is “when does your history on Iraq begin?”
You see to me if you want to tell me we should not have been in Iraq, and only want to focus on the history while G Dub has been in office and totally ignore anything prior to G Dub taking office, there is nothing to discuss.
This young lady is 24 and knows nothing about what was said prior to Bush’s presidency.
There are tons of clips on You Tube feature Mrs. Bill’s ever changing stance on Iraq and virtually every Democrat morphing views on the issue.lawdc011sm.jpg
All I asked of her was to truly study the issue. While listening to her all she could do was regurgitate Democrat clichés, she was ridiculously clueless on the issue other that what she read in the New York Times (she said it) or what was discussed in her political science class.

The point is do liberal choose to be ignorant of all the facts. Many choose not to acknowledge what was said before or simply choose to only put political blame on a policy that no one individual can carry out.

Liberals selective ranting is all political. Think about it. If you believe in gay marriage and you somehow think that by berating the current president on an issue that you really don’t give a shit about, can get you closer to electing an individual with your political values, then why not join the “Iraq is wrong, impeach Bush” bullshit.
Who cares if pussy ass Democrats doesn’t have the balls to stop funding.

Bottom line when you read liberals rant about whatever, you always have to ask yourself what is their real motive?

Referring to a 4 star general as an “ass-kissing chickenshit” tells you everything you need to know about the absence of logic that exists in the minds of most young liberals today.

This dude is unlikely to give a shit about the growing fascist state of America while attending a pep rally for his favorite college sports team or licking the tequila and salt off the stomach of some skank in a bar.

Keep in mind that the Democrats actually courts this twisted moronic demographic.

Sources Claim Barry Manilow Lying About ‘View’ Boycott

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

liarliarbarry.JPGNEW YORK, New York (link) – The man who writes the songs won’t be singing any of them on “The View” – or at least as long as Elisabeth Hasselbeck is there.Barry Manilow says he has backed out of his scheduled appearance on the morning talk show after the show refused to pull Hasselbeck from the interview, Access Hollywood has learned.

Manilow, a long time friend of Rosie O’Donnell, posted the following message on his Web site:

“I wanted to let you know that I will no longer be on The View tomorrow as scheduled. I had made a request that I be interviewed by Joy, Barbara or Whoopi, but not Elisabeth Hasselback [sic]. Unfortunately, the show was not willing to accommodate this simple request so I bowed out. It’s really too bad because I’ve always been a big supporter of the show, but I cannot compromise my beliefs. The good news is that I will be on a whole slew of other shows promoting the new album so I hope you can catch me on those.”

However, sources close to “The View” claim Manilow is lying.

Sources told Access the show is the one who cancelled the booking because they would not allow the “Copacabana” singer to dictate who would interview him.

In addition, the appearance has been scheduled since July (which is after Rosie left the show) and that Manilow has appeared twice on the show in the past with Hasselbeck on the panel.

The sources suggest Manilow is causing a stir in order to create a buzz as his new album, “Greatest Songs of the Seventies,” is getting ready to debut.

Access has reached out to “The View” for an official comment and is awaiting a response.

In an interview with Access Hollywood last week, Manilow talked about his new album – and the duet he recorded with his pal Rosie.

The two recorded Elton John’s “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” however, the track didn’t make the new album.

“It was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. She is just inspiring because you know she’s not a singer. She knows that, but she just got behind the microphone and ripped away. She was great and in tune too,” Manilow said of Rosie. “The problem was, as I put the album together, it became a very romantic album. And having this thing come crashing in out of nowhere, the tone just didn’t feel right. It’ll probably wind up being a bonus cut somewhere.”

Ya know I’ll freely admit I don’t give a shit about Barry Fagilow and his shitty music and him skipping out on the View or them dumping him whatever.
This is just another of countless reasons why I have absolutely little or no respect for idiot liberals.

Bunch of whining, sniveling, Fox News hating, Rush Limbaugh hating, Osama Bin Laden ass kissing, God Hating, big government loving, socialist loving, illegal immigration pimping, welfare seeking, dandelion loving, ACLU supporting communistic Barry Fagilow music loving lying vermin.

Sincerely, Snoop

Silly Kos Kids, Politics Is for Adults

Monday, July 30th, 2007
kos4.jpgFrom Right Wing News

O’Reilly’s has been hammering DailyKos for being a hate site, something obvious to anyone who has scanned the front page. This light shined on the cockroaches caused JetBlue to pull sponsorship on YearlyKos, DailyKos’s once a year event where the writers of DailyKos emerge from their parents’ basements and sit in circles and defecate on each other while Democrats pretend to listen to their insane blather.

Now, you have to understand, liberals are used to being coddled by the media, and the vitamin D deficient denizens of DailyKos have particularly thin skin. As right-wingers, we’re used to being accused of every ill of mankind, but if one person suggests to a Kwazy Kos Kid that he’s not quite in the mainstream, he gets apoplectic. They think that the news media is right-leaning, and you have to be quite insane to reach that viewpoint. We’re talking “Psychologist Running Out of the Room Screaming, ‘Don’t Let Him Touch Me and Get His Crazy on Me!’” insane. So having a particular show on a news network turn against them is intolerable beyond their understanding. With the defection of JetBlue, they’re less inclined to take a hard look at themselves and more open to the idea of freaking out like a bunch of rats that just had their cage shaken.

So the Kwazy Kos Kids and the rest of the Candy Land-based community are now shaking their tiny fists in impotent rage against FOX News’s advertisers. Now having much combined spending power (it’s the Bush economy’s fault that their parents cut their allowances), they’re hoping they can annoy the advertisers to death by calling them over and over (and since one of FOX News’s biggest advertisers is HeadOn, I don’t think they’ll even consider being told the same thing over and over annoying).

Sheehan-linked ‘Peace House’ at war over ‘missing’ money

Saturday, April 7th, 2007

dog.jpgBunch of lying conniving liberals, these bastards obviously scammed money from anti-Bush, anti-American types and what a shock the money is missing. Never ever trust liberals particularly when they are asking for donations, LOL!! *hillary*cough*hillary*

***

The Crawford Peace House, a home started by anti-war activists in the wake of “Peace Mom” Cindy Sheehan’s demonstrations outside President George Bush’s Texas ranch, has been accused of mismanaging tens of thousands of dollars in donations by an insurgent member who has seized legal control of the group’s name and is calling for a state investigation.

Sara L. Oliver, who left the group in 2005 following a dispute surrounding her efforts to secure grant funding for the organization, and other disaffected members have gone public with their suspicions and accusations against the Peace House, calling for an official investigation into why the group only has $14,700 in its bank account. Tens of thousands in donations, collected during Sheehan’s 2005 anti-war protest at the Crawford site, are unaccounted for, Oliver claims.

“There are people who have said, ‘Don’t say anything because you’ll hurt the peace movement,’” Oliver told Associated Press. “But if the peace movement isn’t pure and transparent and holy as it can be at its heart, then it’s just like George Bush: lying, thieving, conniving, backstabbing bastards.”

Liberal Democrats Revolt on Iraq Spending Bill

Tuesday, March 6th, 2007
nowarsign.jpgSpeaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is facing a full-blown revolt from liberal House Democrats over the $98 billion Iraq supplemental bill, according to Democratic insiders. Anywhere between 50 to 75 Democrats are now threatening to vote against the bill because it doesn’t go far enough toward ending the war, including setting a date certain for withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from Iraq, said the sources. Pelosi and Democratic leaders are expected to postpone markup of the Iraq bill in the House Appropriations Committee by at least a week in order to buy time to resolve the matter.

Ted Kennedy on Republicans and Minimum wage

Monday, January 29th, 2007

This via Neal Bortz, If you have not seen the video of Ted Kennedy ranting about the minimum wage you should for a great laugh. Dude is a nut!

tedkennedy1.JPGThe Democrats class warfare minimum wage increase is now being debated in the Senate .. and Ted Kennedy is about to have a stroke. Did you hear this pathetic man screaming at the Republicans? [video] “What is it about it (the minimum wage) that drives you Republicans crazy? What is it about working men and women that you find so offensive?”

Well … of course .. most of you will recognize this as cheap demagoguery. There are two faulty premises to Kennedy’s question:

  1. The working wage has some meaningful connection to “working” men and women.

  2. Republicans are offended by working men and women.

Both premises are false.

Let’s deal with this “working men and women” line first. This rhetorical nonsense is now a basic part of the left wing class warfare arsenal. The goal here is to foster the idea that the more money you make the less you work. The reality is that there we have two resources we can use to make money, physical labor and mental labor. Most of us use a combination of the two. The ugly little fact is that, generally speaking, and professional athletes aside, the more of your mind you use the more money you will make, and the more of your muscle you use the less money you’ll make.

Here’s another fact. The more money you make, the more likely it is that you will vote Republican. The less money you make, the more likely you will vote Democrat. Bring this all together and you’ll soon figure out that the more you use physical labor to earn money, the more likely it is you will vote Democrat.

Knowing that almost all Americans value the concept of hard work, the Democrats have worked to promote the concept that the only real work that physical labor. Working with your mind — managing investments, for instance — just isn’t work. Therefore the only real working people out there are those who work with their hands instead of their brains …. or those more likely to vote Democrat. Once you’ve made this absurd concept a reality you have created a wonderful class warfare weapon. If you’re smarter than the average bear, and if you realize that it is not the role of government to set wages, you then become an enemy of “working men and women.”

This, then, enables Ted Kennedy’s demagoguery. He first asks what it is about the minimum wage that, as he says, drives Republicans so crazy. Simple. First — there are still a few Republicans out there who believe that in a free market economy it is not the role of government to set wages. If the government can set a minimum wage, what is to stop the government from setting a maximum wage? If the government can set a minimum wage, then why can’t the government set a minimum wage based on family size? Why can’t the Imperial Federal Government of the United States just pass a law saying that the minimum wage goes up by $2.00 per hour for every child born to the worker? Once you allow the government to have a say in establishing the value of labor … the sky is the limit. Where does it stop?

Secondly … Republicans realize that less than 20% of the people in this country who earn the minimum wage live in families that are anywhere near or below the poverty level. Over six out of ten people who begin work at the minimum wage have received their first raise within the first year. Only 15% of minimum wage workers are still receiving the minimum wage after three years on their job. What percentage of the full time work force is earning just the minimum wage? Around 1 percent.

So .. to answer Kennedy’s screaming questions: The minimum wage drives (some) Republicans crazy because there is absolutely nothing in our Constitution that allows the government to set wages, and the minimum wage is used by Democrats as nothing more than a tool of class warfare. Around one percent of full-time workers earn the minimum wage, and most of them are part of families that are well above the poverty line. It just isn’t an issue. Knowing Republicans are also upset because they know that the Democrats push for the minimum wage increases are just another way of telling unions “thanks for your support.”

And to answer Kennedy’s second question, there is nothing about “working men and women” that Republicans find offensive. What they do find offensive is the Democrat use of the phrase “working people” as a tool of class warfare through their attempts to convince lower income Americans that those who make more than they do aren’t really working for the money they earn.

Democrats Plan SYMBOLIC Votes Against Iraq Plan, WHAT THE HELL!?

Wednesday, January 10th, 2007

you_suck_and_thats_sad2.JPGBy JEFF ZELENY and CARL HULSE

Democratic leaders said Tuesday that they intended to hold symbolic votes in the House and Senate on President Bush’s plan to send more troops to Baghdad, forcing Republicans to take a stand on the proposal and seeking to isolate the president politically over his handling of the war.

Senate Democrats decided to schedule a vote on the resolution after a closed-door meeting on a day when Senator Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts introduced legislation to require Mr. Bush to gain Congressional approval before sending more troops to Iraq.

The Senate vote is expected as early as next week, after an initial round of committee hearings on the plan Mr. Bush will lay out for the nation Wednesday night in a televised address delivered from the White House library, a setting chosen because it will provide a fresh backdrop for a presidential message.

The office of Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the House, followed with an announcement that the House would also take up a resolution in opposition to a troop increase. House Democrats were scheduled to meet Wednesday morning to consider whether to interrupt their carefully choreographed 100-hour, two-week-long rollout of their domestic agenda this month to address the Iraq war.

In both chambers, Democrats made clear that the resolutions — which would do nothing in practical terms to block Mr. Bush’s intention to increase the United States military presence in Iraq — would be the minimum steps they would pursue. They did not rule out eventually considering more muscular responses, like seeking to cap the number of troops being deployed to Iraq or limiting financing for the war — steps that could provoke a Constitutional and political showdown over the president’s power to wage war.

Read the rest of this bullshit if you want

But check out this from that jack ass “Mississippi Charlie” Rangel:

“The President will say we’re in business with Osama bin Laden,” said Representative Charles Rangel, who has been one of the war’s most outspoken opponents in Congress. “Anytime, politically, you have to explain what you are saying, you have a problem. And so if I am there saying, ‘Cut the funds for Iraq and the war in Iraq,’ then someone is going to say, ‘You are taking away rifles.’”

A decorated Korean War veteran, Mr. Rangel seemed acutely sensitive to the potential consequences of voting against money for the troops: “If my black ass was in Korea during the war and people got fed up with it,” he said, “and they cut off the money so I couldn’t get some snowshoes or underwear—well, goddamn, you are cutting the wrong people.”

Full article here

Questions for you liberals who voted for these chicken-shit Democrats.
Considering what Rangel said, but did this not occur to you cut and run folks ranting and raving that we should get the hell out Iraq that the Democrats would not pull out this whining spineless card?

I don’t care how many in the liberal media try to make excuses for these punk ass Democrats, I thought the American people wanted out of Iraq TODAY, NOW, IMMEDIATELY!

The media prior to the elections pumped up the Democrats as being the party that was going to “change the course” and fight Bush and do what the American people elected them to do get us the hell out of Iraq.

Now you see this bullshit about them doing a SYMBOLIC vote to supposedly send Bush a message?

It’s times like this that I again thank God Almighty, I’m not a Democrat.
We on the right always throw out clichés, tag lines and other “propaganda” maligning Democrats and liberals, but this is a glaring example of why Democrats are so full of shit.

These spineless fucks don’t even have the balls to speak boldly in a unified manner the desires of their constituents.
The leftist bloggers went to war trying to get these bastards elected and look at these idiot cower in the corner like little pussies.

“In both chambers, Democrats made clear that the resolutions — which would do nothing in practical terms to block Mr. Bush’s intention to increase the United States military presence in Iraq”

You liberals have been hoodwinked!

The Democratic Party: A Vast Sleeper Cell

Thursday, January 4th, 2007

democrats2.jpgBy Ann Coulter - Human Events

Fortunately for liberals, the Iraqis executed Saddam Hussein the exact same week that former President Ford died, so it didn’t seem strange that Nancy Pelosi’s flag was at half-staff. Also, Saddam’s death made it less of a snub when Harry Reid skipped Ford’s funeral.

The passing of Gerald Ford should remind Americans that Democrats are always lying in wait, ready to force a humiliating defeat on America.

More troops, fewer troops, different troops, “redeployment”—all the Democrats’ peculiar little talking points are just a way of sounding busy. Who are they kidding? Democrats want to cut and run as fast as possible from Iraq, betraying the Iraqis who supported us and rewarding our enemies—exactly as they did to the South Vietnamese under Ford.

Liberals spent the Vietnam War rooting for the enemy and clamoring for America’s defeat, a tradition they have brought back for the Iraq war.

They insisted on calling the Soviet-backed Vietcong “the National Liberation Front of Vietnam,” just as they call Islamic fascists killing Americans in Iraq “insurgents.” Ho Chi Minh was hailed as a “Jeffersonian Democrat,” just as Michael Moore compares the Islamic fascists in Iraq to the Minute Men.

During the Vietnam War, New York Times scion Arthur “Pinch” Sulzberger told his father that if an American soldier ran into a North Vietnamese soldier, he would prefer for the American to get shot. “It’s the other guy’s country,” he explained.

Now, as publisher of the Times, Pinch does all he can to help the enemy currently shooting at American soldiers.

After a half-dozen years of Democrat presidents creating a looming disaster in Vietnam—with Kennedy ordering the assassination of our own ally in the middle of the war and Johnson ham-handedly choosing bombing targets from the Oval Office—in 1969, Nixon became president and the world was safe again.

Nixon began a phased withdrawal of American ground troops, while protecting the South Vietnamese by increasing the bombings of the North, mining North Vietnamese harbors and attacking North Vietnamese military supplies in Cambodia—all actions hysterically denounced by American liberals, eager for the communists to defeat America.

Despite the massive anti-war protests staged by the Worst Generation, their takeovers of university buildings and their bombings of federal property to protest the bombing of North Vietnamese property, Nixon’s Vietnam policy was apparently popular with normal Americans. In 1972, he won re-election against “peace” candidate George McGovern in a 49-state landslide.

In January 1973, the United States signed the Paris Peace accords, which would have ended the war with honor. In order to achieve a ceasefire, Nixon jammed lousy terms down South Vietnam’s throat, such as allowing Vietcong troops to remain in the South. But in return, we promised South Vietnam that we would resume bombing missions and provide military aid if the North attacked.

It would have worked, but the Democrats were desperate for America to lose. They invented “Watergate,” the corpus delicti of which wouldn’t have merited three column-inches during the Clinton years, and hounded Nixon out of office. (How’s Sandy Berger weathering that tough wrist-slap?)

Three months after Nixon was gone, we got the Watergate Congress and with it, the new Democratic Party. In lieu of the old Democratic Party, which lost wars out of incompetence and naiveté, the new Democratic Party would lose wars on purpose.

Just one month after the Watergate Congress was elected, North Vietnam attacked the South.

Even milquetoast, pro-abortion, detente-loving Gerald R. Ford knew America had to defend South Vietnam or America’s word would be worth nothing. As Ford said, “American unwillingness to provide adequate assistance to allies fighting for their lives could seriously affect our credibility throughout the world as an ally.” He pleaded repeatedly with the Democratic Congress simply to authorize aid to South Vietnam—no troops, just money.

But the Democrats turned their backs on South Vietnam, betrayed an ally and trashed America’s word. Within a month of Ford’s last appeal to Congress to help South Vietnam, Saigon fell.

The entire world watched as American personnel desperately scrambled into helicopters from embassy rooftops in Saigon while beating back our own allies, to whom we could offer no means of escape. It was the most demeaning image of America ever witnessed, until Britney Spears came along.

Southeast Asia was promptly consumed in a maelstrom of violence that seems to occur whenever these “Jeffersonian Democrats” come to power. Communist totalitarians swept through Laos, Cambodia and all of Vietnam. They staged gruesome massacres so vast that none other than Sen. George McGovern called for military intervention to stop a “clear case of genocide” in Cambodia.

Five years after that, Islamic lunatics in Iran felt no compunction about storming the embassy of what was once the greatest superpower on Earth and taking American citizens hostage for 14 months. To this day, al Qaeda boosts the flagging morale of its jihadists by reminding them of America’s humiliating retreat from Vietnam.

In addition to being wrong about Ford’s pardon of Nixon, liberals were wrong about a few other things from that era. Democrats haven’t admitted error in rejecting Ford’s pleas on behalf of South Vietnam because there are still dangerous foreigners trying to kill Americans. Nixon is safely interred in the ground, but the enemies of America continue to need the Democrats’ help.

On Thursday’s edition of The View, the ladies, along with guest co-host Dari Alexander of Fox News, discussed Democratic Senator Tim Johnson’s emergency brain surgery and the potential political fallout. Alexander explained to the audience that if Johnson had to resign from the Senate, the Republican governor of South Dakota would pick an interim senator to fulfill the remainder of Johnson’s term, thereby creating the potential for an even split in the Senate between Democrats and Republicans. Joy Behar chimed in and put forth another tin foil hat worthy conspiracy theory:

Joy Behar: “Is there such a thing as a man-made stroke? In other words, did someone do this to him?”

Alexander joked that perhaps he had been given polonium, referencing the recent death of the former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko, who accused the Kremlin of poisoning him:

Dari Alexander: “Maybe they gave him polonium.”

O’Donnell [laughing]: “Oh no, no.”

Elisabeth Hasselbeck laughed off Behar’s ludicrous question, referring to her suggestion as a conspiracy theory, but Behar refused to back down:

Elisabeth Hasselbeck: “Let me ask you something. Why is everything coming from the liberal perspective a conspiracy? This is a conspiracy.”

Behar: “I know what this–that party is capable of.”

The full transcript of the exchange follows below:

Rosie O’Donnell: “His name is Senator Tim Johnson. He’s a Democrat, and sadly he, he was ill, and he’s had brain surgery. They think he may have had a stroke.”

Elisabeth Hasselbeck: “Yes.”

Alexander: “And the thing that is quite interesting about this, I think, is that it started this whole political brouhaha because, as you know, the Democrats took over in November by a 51-49 majority, and now if he has to resign, it will make things 50-50, because the governor of that state, who is a Republican, is in, in, he’s in charge of basically putting an interim person in there for, for Senate, and–”

Joy Behar: “Is there such a thing as a man-made stroke? In other words, did someone do this to him?”

Alexander: “Maybe they gave him polonium.”

O’Donnell [laughing]: “Oh no, no.”

Elisabeth Hasselbeck: “Let me ask you something. Why is everything coming from the liberal perspective a conspiracy? This is a conspiracy.”

Behar: “I know what this–that party is capable of.”

Hasselbeck: “Help us.”

Alexander: “So, in any case, it started this whole political brouhaha, and you know, I think the thing that’s really sad about this is that it takes a political angle when this guy is really critically ill.”

Behar: “Yeah, we’re very sad that he’s critically ill, but there are millions and millions of people who depend upon this Congress. People in the world and people in this country. So it’s really–his, his illness is, is sad, but it’s not as important in the overall scheme.”

Alexander: “Well, that’s definitely true, but–”

Hasselbeck: “I guess it depends on what scheme you’re thinking of.”

Behar: “Well, I’m thinking of, I’m thinking of human beings lives. That’s what I’m thinking of.”

Signs link Dems to terror and illegal immigrants (well duh it’s the truth)

Thursday, November 2nd, 2006

Houston Chronicle - Link

Fort Bend County Democrats are irate about campaign signs linking Democrats to illegal immigrants and terrorists, but the Republican county commissioner who paid for them said they accurately reflect Democratic positions.

Early voters in the heart of the heated race to succeed former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay were greeted Wednesday with red and white signs that read: “Want more illegals? Vote Democrat” and “Encourage Terrorists. Vote Democrat.”

By midafternoon, outraged Democrats had removed the signs but not the acrimony.

“This is a majority minority county where Hispanics, blacks and Asians make up about 60 percent of the population,” said Don Bankston, campaign coordinator for the Democratic Party in Ford Bend County.

“This is an appeal to fear, racism and prejudice, and that is wrong.”

The “Encourage Terrorists” sign was placed near the early-voting location at Macario Garcia Middle School, named after a World War II Medal of Honor winner. Principal Viretta West summarily removed it.

Precinct 3 Fort Bend County Commissioner Andy Meyers acknowledged paying $2,800 to the Republican Victory Committee PAC for 75 signs that tied Democrats to terrorists, higher taxes and illegal immigration.

“All I am doing is repeating what the leadership of the Democratic Party’s position is. So I am not sure why they would be upset about that,” Meyers said.

Harris County Republican Chairman Jared Woodfill said the core message behind the signs reflected the GOP position that Democrats are more lenient on homeland security issues and illegal immigration.

“I may not agree with how they framed their message, but the positions are correct,” Woodfill said.

The campaigns of Democrat Nick Lampson and Republican Shelley Sekula-Gibbs, battling for DeLay’s seat, walked a fine line in disavowing the signs.

“Numerous parents from Garcia Middle School called and asked for the signs to be removed because they didn’t want their kids subjected to that sort of hatefulness outside their school,” Lampson spokesman Mike Malaise said. “This isn’t helping the other side win votes.”

Lisa Dimond, Sekula-Gibbs’ campaign manager, had not seen the signs.

“I can’t control or comment on what anyone might do,” she said. “If someone wants to help out our campaign we tell them how to educate voters to vote for Shelley.”

Democrats hate the troops, was there any doubt?

Wednesday, November 1st, 2006

You know I have to say this, I don’t know what is going to happen next week, well I’ll predict that that Republicans will hold court next week.
Even if the Republican lose control, people like John Kerry, Patty Murray, Dick Turbin, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi and just about all other Democrats is reason enough for me to repeat what I have said many times. I THANK GOD; I’m not a Democrat, nor a liberal.
I have never been more serious.
If I were an individual who looked up to, admired, supported and Lord help me voted for   the likes of the people mentioned above I would have to have some serious issues goin on upstairs.
While watching John Kerry implode yesterday all I could do was smile because this piece of crap anti-American thug now has NO CHANCE of running this country and that tis something to be thankful for.

Murray’s remarks on bin Laden draw GOP ire

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

8-diamonds.gifWASHINGTON — Sen. Patty Murray intended to be provocative when she told a group of high school students terrorist leader Osama bin Laden is popular in poor countries because he helped pay for schools, roads and even day care centers.

“We haven’t done that,” Murray said. “How would they look at us today if we had been there helping them with some of that rather than just being the people who are going to bomb in Iraq and go to Afghanistan?”

Murray’s remarks, to a group of students in Vancouver, Wash., started even more discussion than she expected after they were published Thursday in The Columbian newspaper of Vancouver and then picked up by The Associated Press.

By Friday, the Murray story was the lead item on the “Drudge Report” Web site and a main topic for talk show host Sean Hannity and other conservative pundits.

Murray’s comments sparked national debate on talk radio and prompted readers to bombard the Web site of The Columbian, the Vancouver newspaper that first printed Murray’s remarks.

“Between (Murray) and Baghdad Jim (McDermott) I’m surprised the rest of the country even lets Washington send reps to DC anymore,” wrote one e-mailer, identified only as robertb.

Another e-mailer, identified as Truthspeaker, said that if Murray “does not like the way President Bush is running the government, then by all means, she is free to leave.”

Webb Says His Novels ‘Inappropriate’ for News Radio

Friday, October 27th, 2006

By Nathan Burchfiel CNSNews.com Staff Writer - Link
M-Theuriau10webb.JPG(CNSNews.com) - In an interview on Washington Post Radio Friday morning, Jim Webb, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Virginia, said excerpts of his novels are “a little bit inappropriate” to be read on news radio.

“I don’t know why you’re reading that on WTOP,” Webb told host Mark Plotkin. “I think it’s a little bit inappropriate.”

Plotkin was reading an excerpt from Webb’s novel “Something to Die For,” in which Webb describes a female stripper performing sexual acts with a banana.

“I don’t think that’s appropriate for you to read on WTOP,” Webb said again as Plotkin finished the excerpt. (Washington Post Radio is WTOP’s sister station.)

The campaign of Republican Sen. George Allen on Thursday released excerpts from some of the war novels Webb wrote between 1978 and 2002. The books include some graphic sexual passages, as well as frequent uses of a racial slur for blacks and descriptions of Vietnamese women as “monkey-faced.”

Among the excerpts is a scene from the 2002 novel “Lost Soldiers,” in which a man embraces his four-year-old son and places the boy’s penis in his mouth.

This ain’t a big deal to Democrats, hell Barney Frank I bet reads all of his material.
No, the lib Democrats will say, “those uptight, God loving idiot Republicans will blow this out of proportion.”
This is why liberal atheists are trying to make more noise than normal.
I can hear them now, “if we can get those conservatives to stop paying attention to that mythical god dude we can get more sexually deviant Senators in office!

Webb said the release of the excerpts was “a Karl Rove campaign tactic” and a “classic example of the way this campaign has worked. It’s smear after smear.”

What a pathetic bastard. The libs only comeback is to blame Karl Rove?
Are you Democrats that retarded? I swear it amazing that Rove is still the Democrats biggest boogeyman.

He defended his fiction as “illuminative.”

“It’s not a sexual act,”

NAW! A little boy sticking his dick in someone’s mouth, how the hell can that be sexual, silly me.

Webb told Plotkin regarding the “Lost Soldiers” excerpt. “I actually saw this happen in a slum in Bangkok when I was there as a journalist.”

“The duty of a writer is to illuminate his surroundings,” he added.

Coincidentally, a Cambodian woman in Las Vegas is facing sexual assault charges for performing a similar act on her young son, according to an Oct. 14 report in the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The article quotes an office manager for the Cambodian Association of America, who described the act as a sign of respect or love.

“It’s an exception,” Thira Srey told the Review-Journal of the practice. According to the report, the act is usually performed by a mother or caretaker on a child who is one year old or younger. In Webb’s novel, the child is four years old.

Webb criticized the Allen campaign for focusing on excerpts from his novels.

“The most important issue facing the country, he hasn’t got a statement to make on it,” Webb said of the Iraq war. “This country’s been breaking into pieces economically … they’ve got no position on that.

Can we talk?

Monday, October 23rd, 2006

Columbiathugs1.jpgBy Thomas Sowell - Townhall.com

There are very few saints among people of any race, religion, national origin, or sexual orientation. None should be above criticism.

Increasingly, however, there are tighter and tighter restrictions on what you can say about more and more groups. San Francisco radio talk show host Pete Wilson discovered this recently when he criticized a city Supervisor and his female friend — but not lover — who had a baby together.

The man is gay and the woman is a lesbian, so they are not lovers in a committed relationship.

Raising a child is no piece of cake, even when the parents are married and committed to staying together. Raising a child where there is no stable, committed relationship may be cutting edge stuff but Pete Wilson’s point was that a child is not an experiment.

The same could be said of heterosexuals like the woman who recently had a baby in her sixties. That’s great for making a splash in the media but what is going to happen when the baby becomes a teenager and the mother’s energy level has declined with age, if she is still around at all?

The real issue, however, is neither heterosexual or homosexual, and it extends even beyond the important question of the best interests of the child.

The larger question for American society is, as Joan Rivers has often said: “Can we talk?”

Political bigwigs in San Francisco say “No.” They are demanding that Pete Wilson resign. In San Francisco, no one is supposed to criticize anything done by homosexuals.

Moreover, this attitude is not confined to San Francisco or to gays. On the other side of the country, Columbia University students stormed the stage when one of the Minuteman critics of our lax immigration laws was trying to speak.

At many other colleges and universities, he would not even have been allowed on campus in the first place. Many campuses have speech codes where it is called creating a “hostile environment” if you say things that make various racial, sexual, or other protected groups unhappy.

Young people educated at our most prestigious colleges and universities are learning the lesson that storm trooper tactics can silence those who are not in vogue on campus, and honest expressions of opinion about issues involving anything from affirmative action to women in the military can get you suspended if you refuse the humiliation and hypocrisy of being “re-educated.”

Meanwhile, liberals in Congress have long been advocating a return to the so-called “fairness” doctrine requiring “balance” in broadcasting. Talk radio is overwhelmingly conservative simply because liberal talk radio has failed repeatedly to attract comparable-sized audiences.

The listeners have spoken but the politicians want to overrule them. Some call it “hush Rush” legislation.

“Fairness” here, as in so many other contexts, means nothing more and nothing less than the exercise of arbitrary power by third parties, since everyone has a different definition of what “fairness” means.

Free speech is not a luxury but a necessity if we are to hear the various sides of issues before we decide what to do.

It is not a question of Pete Wilson’s rights or even of the rights of all the people who speak or write on public issues. Such people are not even ten percent of the population and probably not even one percent.

Their individual rights matter. But among the pressing problems of our time, their interests alone rank far down the list.

Free speech rights exist for the whole society, not for writers and speakers. When you say that we can hear only what a growing number of censors want us to hear, you are condemning us to grope in the dark when making all sorts of decisions — about ourselves, our families and the future of our society.

Whether Pete Wilson’s opinion was right or wrong is a very small issue compared to blinding us all for the sake of political correctness. Can we talk? Apparently, for some people, the answer is “No.”

Howard Dean: Americans Can’t Trust GOP

Monday, October 9th, 2006

Dean14.jpgNEWSMAX - Howard Dean talked up Democrats, talked down Republicans and went door-to-door in a Portland neighborhood on Monday to rally Democrats for the upcoming election.

Dean, chairman of the Democratic National Committee and a former Vermont governor, and Maine Gov. John Baldacci spoke to about 150 people at a breakfast fundraiser at the Italian Heritage Center before knocking on doors in a heavily Democratic Munjoy Hill neighborhood.

Accompanied by a gaggle of reporters and cameras, Dean and Baldacci stopped at four houses to tout the Democratic message.

One of them was owned by Jon Radtke, a high school teacher who said it’s important for Democrats to conduct a grass-roots effort to remind voters what’s at stake in the Nov. 7 election.

“It was a way to boost spirits as we go into an election,” he said.

Earlier in the morning, Dean told party supporters at a fundraiser that Americans can’t trust Republicans with their money or to defend the country. The Maine Democratic Party asked for contributions of $29.29 because the event took place 29 days before the election.

While Bush likes to talk tough, Osama bin Laden is still on the loose, North Korea announced it has tested a nuclear device and Iran has threatened to do the same, Dean said.

“You’ve got to be tough and smart, not just tough and talking tough at election time,” Dean said.

For the governor’s race, Dean called Baldacci’s Republican opponent, Chandler Woodcock, a “clone of George Bush.”

“If you like what George Bush is doing, you ought to vote for Chandler Woodcock,” he said.

On Munjoy Hill, Dean and Baldacci visited several homes of people who were notified ahead of time that they might be coming to their door.

At the first house, Gary Akovenko asked what should be done about the war in Iraq. He was pleased to hear Dean say a change of direction is needed and Baldacci call for a comprehensive foreign policy, not one that changes from country to country.

“I wanted to hear about Iraq. I think that’s what’s on people’s minds,” Akovenko said.

While Dean and Baldacci knocked on doors, several neighborhood residents followed behind carrying signs for Ben Meiklejohn, who is running in the district as a Green Independent Party candidate for the Legislature.

Kevin Donoghue, who is registered as a Green, commented about how “staged” the event was.

“I think it’s interesting to see an establishment party pretending to do grass-roots politics,” he said.

A Democrat who needs Lexapro!

Friday, September 29th, 2006

This post is a great example of why liberalism is bad for your health.
Liberals are simply incapable of processing positive vibes for their own country.
I believe they actually prefer to be miserable, and depressed while at the same time blaming America for their ills.
Their misery is not even logical or else it’s calculated.
How else can you explain liberal blogs and news sites complaining about the falling price of gas and the signs that the economy is healthy, while at the same time obsessing over the racial thoughts of a lone white guy.
The theme on liberals’ blogs I have read over the past few days is Republicans are trying to scare the American people into voting for them. Do they even process how stupid that sounds?
Liberals are continuing to sink to new lows, I almost feel guilty continuing to bash them,  it’s like kicking a puppy.
However I have way too much contempt for liberalism. Tis far better to analyze them ranting and raving on blogs and news sources rather than having these crazy ass people in power running this country into the nearest iceberg.

Title: Am I alone in this? Today I feel like I am a woman without a country
By Diane Silver - From the Blog In This Moment

These are my thoughts from Kansas on a gray morning. I woke up today, and the first thing I thought was: I am a woman without a country.

In the aftermath of yesterday’s Senate passage of the torture-enabling and Constitution-trashing Military Commissions Act, it feels like my country has ceased to exist. I haven’t moved away from my commitment to citizenship and the ideals of the United States, but my country has.

I am in mourning.

The second thing I thought was: I need to post about this.

The third thing I thought was: Is it safe? If I speak so openly about my fury and my disagreement with this president will I someday be said to be aiding terrorists? Will my sentiments be the trigger for an arrest. Is that already possible?

(On second thought: Aren’t I being foolish! America will never do that, but look at the letter of this law. Doesn’t it give the president the right to define who will be imprisoned? The way this is written, no one need or possibly can look over George W. Bush’s shoulder, or am I wrong? I pray I’m wrong, and not just for me, but for thousands of other people and for the soul of my country.)

And then I thought: Should I leave? Is it time to pack up and go to Canada? My brother lives not far from there. Is it time to move near him so we could dash across the border quickly if necessary?

And then I thought: I will be damned if I let George Bush, Dick Cheney, Bill Frist, Rick Santorum, Joe Lieberman and all the rest steal MY country.

And then I went over to visit Blue Girl, liberalzone1.jpgRed State who lives in Missouri not far from me and found her wonderful post “Rest in Peace America.” Read all of it, but this is just a tiny snippet.

Sleep eludes me tonight, but it is understandable. I lost my country yesterday. It was not a sudden death - we knew it was coming. But that does not assuage the inevitable grief.

She talks about her anger and her promise to work for change. (And yes, oh great inquisitors, we are talking about political change, not violent change.)

It’s time.

Enough is enough.

America is better than this.
