‘I took drugs, had homo sex with Obama….psych just kidding! UPDATE

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

larrysinclairfailed.jpgFrom the Cleveland Leader via Conservative Grapevine

The Minnesota man who claims to have had sex with and taken cocaine with Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama voluntarily participated in a series of polygraph tests over the weekend.

Whitehouse.com initially offered Larry Sinclair $10,000 to take a polygraph test, and $100,000 if he passed it and was shown to be telling the truth.Whitehouse.com acquired the services of two expert polygraph examiners, who have examined Mr. Sinclair. The results of the first polygraph examination by Dr. Ed Gelb (Former President of the American Polygraph Association) indicate “deception” in regards to both the drug and sex claims by Sinclair.

The second expert’s conclusions have not yet been revealed, but should be early this week. These will either confirm or deny the first examiner’s results. Whitehouse.com has additionally promised to post video recordings of the examinations for complete disclosure and transparency.

sexual activity and personally used illegal drugs in November 1999″ with Obama

Minnesota man takes his case to court, YouTube, $100,000 polygraph challenge..This is from World Net Daily, no shit, not from the National Enquirer. Now I know this is small by comparison, and more tabloid in scope, but as the Obama magic seemingly propels him closer to the Oval Office there will be more crazy shit said about him and more weirdness will manifest itself.Between the crazy shit the Clinton’s will unveil, the ever present racial strife that still plagues this country closet racists will stop at nothing to torpedo this man becoming president.
Hell the media is already circulating crazy shit like assassination plots against the dude.No amount of youthful exuberance will be able to overcome the painful reality of racist strife in this country and Obama will be the main target

WASHINGTON – The electrifying presidential campaign of Barack Obama faces a new challenge – a Minnesota man who claims he took cocaine in 1999 with the then-Illinois legislator and participated in homosexual acts with him. When his story was ignored by the news media, Larry Sinclair made his case last month in a YouTube video, which has now been viewed more than a quarter-million times. And when it was still ignored by the media, Sinclair filed a suit in Minnesota District Court, alleging threats and intimidation by Obama’s staff.

Sinclair, who says he is willing to submit to a polygraph test to validate his claims, will now get his chance – thanks to a website offering $10,000 for the right to record it and $100,000 to Sinclair if he passes.

“My motivation for making this public is my desire for a presidential candidate to be honest,” Sinclair told WND by telephone. “I didn’t want the sex thing to come out. But I think it is important for the candidate to be honest about his drug use as late as 1999.”

Senator helped fund organization that rejects ‘racist’ Israel’s existence

ayers.jpg

JERUSALEM – The board of a nonprofit organization on which Sen. Barack Obama served as a paid director alongside a confessed domestic terrorist granted funding to a controversial Arab group that mourns the establishment of Israel as a “catastrophe” and supports intense immigration reform, including providing drivers licenses and education to illegal aliens. The co-founder of the Arab group in question, Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi, also has held a fundraiser for Obama. Khalidi is a harsh critic of Israel, has made statements supportive of Palestinian terror and reportedly has worked on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization while it was involved in anti-Western terrorism and was labeled by the State Department as a terror group.

In 2001, the Woods Fund, a Chicago-based nonprofit that describes itself as a group helping the disadvantaged, provided a $40,000 grant to the Arab American Action Network, or AAAN, for which Khalidi’s wife, Mona, serves as president. The Fund provided a second grant to the AAAN for $35,000 in 2002.

Obama was a director of the Woods Fund board from 1999 to Dec. 11, 2002, according to the Fund’s website. According to tax filings, Obama received compensation of $6,000 per year for his service in 1999 and 2001.

Obama served on the Wood’s Fund board alongside William C. Ayers, a member of the Weathermen terrorist group which sought to overthrow of the U.S. government and took responsibility for bombing the U.S. Capitol in 1971.

Ayers, who still serves on the Woods Fund board, contributed $200 to Obama’s senatorial campaign fund and has served on panels with Obama at numerous public speaking engagements. Ayers admitted to involvement in the bombings of U.S. governmental buildings in the 1970s. He is a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

“William Ayers, in the age of terrorism, will be Barack Obama’s Willie Horton.”
–Former counterterrorism official Larry C. Johnson,

The Huffington Post, Feb. 16, 2008.

(Here is the last portion of the article)  There is a flickering presidential campaign analogy from the 1970s while you, Mr. McCain, were detained in Hanoi — while Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn were setting bombs, Mr. Rashidi was in the Mideast with the PLO, Mr. Auchi was in Baghdad with Saddam Hussein and Mr. Obama was eleven years old in Hawaii. In March and April 1972, Democratic primary voters elbowed aside Chicago Mayor Richard Daley’s favorite, Ed Muskie of Maine, in order to nominate for the presidency the self-described “people’s president,” George McGovern of South Dakota. The Daley team telephoned Rowland Evans and Robert Novak to complain, “anybody but McGovern.” The prescient quote from the Daley partisan: “I think the nomination of George McGovern would mean the end of the Democratic Party we have known.”

Richard Nixon defeated George McGovern, forty-nine states to one. Will the four horsemen of Mr. Obama’s November, Rezko, Ayers, Rashidi and Auchi, lead to a similar defeat for the spectacular candidacy of Barack Obama?

Judge Him by His Laws - Charlie Peters

Consider a bill into which Obama clearly put his heart and soul. The problem he wanted to address was that too many confessions, rather than being voluntary, were coerced — by beating the daylights out of the accused.Obama proposed requiring that interrogations and confessions be videotaped. This seemed likely to stop the beatings, but the bill itself aroused immediate opposition. There were Republicans who were automatically tough on crime and Democrats who feared being thought soft on crime. There were death penalty abolitionists, some of whom worried that Obama’s bill, by preventing the execution of innocents, would deprive them of their best argument. Vigorous opposition came from the police, too many of whom had become accustomed to using muscle to “solve” crimes. And the incoming governor, Rod Blagojevich, announced that he was against it.

Remember the dude on Chris Matthews….

Well, after the fact, Watson actually tried to come up with a list of Obama’s “accomplishments” after the fact. So, imagine it: Watson is highly motivated because he has made his candidate look bad on TV, so he does heavy research, he talks to his fellow Obama supporters, and he probably even called Obama’s campaign.

after the fact, Watson actually tried to come up with a list of Obama’s “accomplishments” after the fact. So, imagine it: Watson is highly motivated because he has made his candidate look bad on TV, so he does heavy research, he talks to his fellow Obama supporters, and he probably even called Obama’s campaign.  So, what did Watson manage to come up with? This is it

* Senator Obama’s fight for universal children’s health care in Illinois.* His success bringing Republicans and Democrats together (a huge selling point for me in general) on bills such as the one in Illinois requiring police interrogations and confessions to be videotaped.* His leadership on ethics reform in Washington (the bill that lobbyists and special interests are complaining about right now has his name on it).

* His bill to make the federal budget far more transparent and accessible to Americans via the Internet – we could use that openness in Texas.

* And his vital work with Republicans to lock down nuclear weapons around the world.

No wait, Jack and Jill Politics blog unhappy with us conservative leaning folks trashing their man has a bunch of stuff.

OBAMA HAS SIGNIFICANT LEGISLATIVE ACHIEVEMENTS both in the Illinois and US Senate. You should be able to discuss his groundbreaking work to reform the Illinois death penalty by getting confessions videotaped against the objections of a Republican governor plus police and prosecutors.

You should be able to discuss his groundbreaking work to create an easily searchable database of federal spending, the Google for Government, bill.

You should be able to discuss his nuclear non-proliferation law co-sponsored with Republican Dick Lugar.

That’s all Watson had to know. But wait, there’s more. So. Much. More.

He says:

“you need to visit barackobama.com NOW. Seriously. It is your duty as a citizen to be informed and no one is preventing you. Go to the issues page. Click on any issue (e.g. Civil Rights). This may sound hard, but I want you to read it. Jump to the bottom where it says “Barack Obama’s Record” and you’ll see” for example:

Record of Advocacy: Obama has worked to promote civil rights and fairness in the criminal justice system throughout his career. As a community organizer, Obama helped 150,000 African Americans register to vote. As a civil rights lawyer, Obama litigated employment discrimination, housing discrimination, and voting rights cases. As a State Senator, Obama passed one of the country’s first racial profiling laws and helped reform a broken death penalty system. And in the U.S. Senate, Obama has been a leading advocate for protecting the right to vote, helping to reauthorize the Voting Rights Act and leading the opposition against discriminatory barriers to voting.

Media Matters also has:

In a February 12 article in The Politico on Sen. Barack Obama’s (D-IL) “peevish” comments “accus[ing] the media of ignoring his substantive record and falsely depicting him as a lightweight,” senior political writer Ben Smith claimed that Obama “hasn’t sponsored any legislation that would affect the way Americans live their daily lives.” Yet, as Media Matters for America has noted, Obama was the primary sponsor of 152 bills and resolutions introduced in the last Congress. These included bills to create a federal standard for renewable diesel fuel (S.1426), to improve benefits and services for members of the armed forces and veterans (S.3988), and to direct the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to establish guidelines for tracking spent fuel rods (S.1194).

more at the above link… BUT BUT BUT Media Matters end the piece by informing you of the following:

Smith did not note that between the time Obama took office and January 4, the Republican Party was the majority party in the Senate and thus controlled the legislative agenda. In such a situation, the oportunities for a bill sponsored by a member of the minority party to see legislative action are particularly limited.

Lets be fair, people!

OK believe it or not people I check out a great number of these links, so who else on the left is trying to pimp for B Hussein Obama?

Finally from Gov Track - Barack Obama Voting History

Statistic: Barack Obama missed 185 of 1098 votes (17%) since Jan 6, 2005 (Extremely Poor relative to peers).

Bill Sponsorship & Cosponsorship

Statistics: Barack Obama has sponsored 129 bills since Jan 4, 2005, of which 120 haven’t made it out of committee (Poor) and 1 were successfully enacted (Average, relative to peers). Obama has co-sponsored 545 bills during the same time period (Average, relative to peers).

Some of Obama’s most recently sponsored bills include… (View All)

S. 2030: A bill to amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to require reporting relating to bundled contributions made by persons other than registered lobbyists.

S. 2111: Positive Behavior for Effective Schools Act

S. 2066: Back to School: Improving Standards for Nutrition and Physical Education in Schools Act of 2007

S.Con.Res. 46: A concurrent resolution supporting the goals and ideals of Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month.

S. 2044: Independent Contractor Proper Classification Act of 2007

I have now properly educated myself on Obama’s “greatness.” Wow I bet you Obama supporters must be beaming and just oozing at the possibility of electing the next MLK? Kennedy? Carter? LOL!

Chris Matthews did the Obama people a huge favor, all of these tards were going around gushing about Obama’s speaking eloquence and his bullshit message of change and hope.
Matthews embarrassing that moron from Texas put the Obama fans on notice.

I doubt it, bloggers tend to be far more educated about political issues and the true substance of candidates, but the average person on the streets will always be more smitten by a politicians, looks, charm/charisma, speech giving ability, bottom line a bunch of bullshit.

Wizbang Blue had these clips from that dude who does the focus group thing on Fox and asked these clueless people if they could name any Obama accomplishment. Well without watching the video, you already know the answer.
I was particularly amused at one dudes response:

Obama and his lobbyists homies

FIRST HIS WORDS….

From Sister Toldjah -  Barack Obama’s ties to lobbyists and special interests

“I think it is imperative that the whole truth and nothing but the truth gets out about the man who could be our next president. He’s not being completely upfront with the American people, and we all know his devotees in the press will faithfully continue to carry his water, so it’s up to “citizen journalists” to help spread the word. The Washington Post fact check article I linked to noted a few examples, but here are some more:  On August 9, 2007, The Boston Globe reported on Barack Obama’s meteoric rise in politics, and just what types of groups helped make that possible: PACS and lobbyists (emphasis added by me):

A Globe review of Obama’s campaign finance records shows that he collected hundreds of thousands of dollars from lobbyists and PACs as a state legislator in Illinois, a US senator, and a presidential aspirant. In Obama’s eight years in the Illinois Senate, from 1996 to 2004, almost two-thirds of the money he raised for his campaigns — $296,000 of $461,000 — came from PACs, corporate contributions, or unions, according to Illinois Board of Elections records. He tapped financial services firms, real estate developers, healthcare providers, oil companies, and many other corporate interests, the records show.

  • One of Sen. Obama’s biggest donors is the energy giant Exelon:

Exelon is the sixth largest donor to Sen. Obama’s presidential campaign and the fourth largest career donor to Obama’s federal campaigns. Exelon employees have donated over $269,100 to his federal campaigns and over $194,750 in 2008. [opensecrets.org, 2008, 2004-2008]

Central to Obama’s message of change are claims that he is free of lobbyist influence. But in fact, he has been, and still is being funded by some of the same sort of interests and corporate interests as Clinton and other candidates through big corporate donors known as bundlers.

In fact, he’s received so much funding, an estimated $30 million per month, that his campaign appears to be backpedaling on a November pledge where he said if he was the Democratic nominee, he would aggressively pursue and agreement with the Republican nominee to preserve a publicly financed general election.

“The Washington Post” said in a February 16 editorial that “this kind of backtracking and parsing is’t what the millions of voters who have been inspired by Mr. Obama are looking for.”

More telling, a November 2006 Harpers article “The Making of a Washington Machine” by Ken Silverstein quoted an anonymous Washington lobbyist, “big donors would not be helping out OBama if they didn’t see him as a player.”

Article: Sen. Obama finesses his lobbyist ties - Posted Posted: 04/19/07

In a fundraising e-mail sent to supporters at the beginning of March, the candidate wrote that Washington’s special-interest industry is trying “to own our political process and dictate our policies in Washington.

“We’re not going to play that game. We’re not taking any contributions from Washington lobbyists or political action committees. We’re going to transform the political process by bringing together hundreds of thousands of ordinary Americans to build a campaign.”

Michelle Obama said it! No seriously she did, I heard her!

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

obamas.jpgI’m just scanning sites and blogs peeping the buzz on Michelle Obama. No rhyme or reason to these quotes. Mostly posing as reference and to kinda catalogue. I’m just noting that her quote is sparking a tremendous amount of discussion on the web and talk radio.
As I told this gentleman, I left a brief remark on his site; he has since left me a brief note. Anywho as I have already said oft, she better clarify this remark and quickly or she better lay low for a few weeks. Obama can’t have any more bimbo eruptions.

(link)  - “My God, who can sit here and say, ‘I’m ready to be president and first lady?’ ” she asked. But like her husband, she is running on biography, suggesting that her most important qualifications are her life experiences. Daughter of a Chicago city pump operator who had multiple sclerosis, she graduated from Princeton and Harvard and juggles her job as a hospital executive with motherhood and civic work.Mrs. Obama dislikes politics, friends and family confirmed, but not as much as she dislikes losing. Craig Robinson, her brother and the Brown University men’s basketball coach, said his sister did not enjoy organized sports when she was younger because she so hated defeat and even now pouts when a board game does not go her way.

His sister is brainy and warm, he said, but also a force to be reckoned with.“Everyone in the family is afraid of her,” he said with a smile. Asked if Mr. Obama used a nicotine patch to quit smoking, Mr. Robinson cracked up. “Michelle Obama!” he said. “That’s one hell of a patch right there!”

********

Vanity Fair quoted this statement, which seems resentful toward her husband and men in general:

“Mrs. Obama has a long history of speaking out about the ways in which men’s choices-particularly their professional ambitions-often leave their wives to pick up the slack, even when they have their own careers. “What I notice about men, all men, is that their order is me, my family, God is in there somewhere, but me is first,” she told the Chicago Tribune in 2004.

“And for women, me is fourth, and that’s not healthy.”

********

“I also have a strong disdain for Mrs. Obama. What bugs me is her bitchy attitude. She seems to have adopted a persona similiar to what you might see on a sitcom. On sitcoms, the husband is invariably a bumbling halfwit, whose hijinks are endured by an intelligent, long-suffering wife. Think “Everybody Loves Ramond” or “The Simpsons” for just two prominent examples.

I’ve seen interviews with Michelle Obama where she badmouths her husband, making him seem just as much of a hapless fool as Homer Simpson or Al Bundy. Affirmative Action candidate or not, her husband has a shot at the White House, and she’s going around telling people that he can’t dress himself without her?Damn, woman, show some respect for your man! I really don’t want that America-hating shrew as First Lady”

*******

(link)  - I’m sure it’s hard to campaign and speak frequently without misspeaking or conveying something other than you mean. It’s certainly true with blogging, and public speaking is even more prone to errors. I would also understand a young person like Michelle Obama who might be enthusiastic about American politics for the first time, but she sounded like she really meant this is the first time in her adult life she has been proud of America.

*****

(link)  - As some have pointed out, Obama’s message of hope is based primarily on the assumption that the United States is a miserable country where no one can prosper, succeed, and be happy. His wife apparently feels the same way.

********

From Media Matters:

In a discussion of recent comments made by Michelle Obama, Bill O’Reilly took a call from a listener who stated that, according to “a friend who had knowledge of her,” Obama ” ‘is a very angry,’ her word was ‘militant woman.’ “

O’Reilly later stated: “I don’t want to go on a lynching party against Michelle Obama (odd choice of words from Mr. O) unless there’s evidence, hard facts, that say this is how the woman really feels. If that’s how she really feels — that America is a bad country or a flawed nation, whatever — then that’s legit. We’ll track it down.”

Pro Hillary 527 Formed to Hit Obama

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

barack21.jpg

Democratic insiders have set up a new independent 527 organization called the American Leadership Project (ALP) to help Hillary Clinton beat Barack Obama in Ohio — and possibly Texas and Pennsylvania as well. The group will use TV ads, mail, and phone communications to target white women under 50 in several Ohio cities, including Cleveland, Columbus, and Youngstown.

If there are any excess funds, ads will also target Latinos in Texas and middle-class families in Pennsylvania, ABC News reports.

ALP has developed three ads promoting the idea that Obama is a talker and not a doer. The ads are called “If speeches could solve problems” — and while they don’t specifically mention Obama, they will contrast Obama and Clinton on issues of importance to middle-class voters, such as the economy, health care, and the mortgage crisis.

First Chuck Barkley, now Michelle Obama, who will be the next idiot Obama supporter to insert foot in mouth?

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

UPDATE - When I wrote this rant at the time I did not know this: Bill O’Reilly

Now, the problem with that statement is the words “for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country.” Perhaps Michelle Obama simply misspoke. That happens all the time when you give speeches. But Mrs. Obama said it twice in two different speeches.
Now I’m willing, I’m willing to give Mrs. Obama the benefit of the doubt if she wants that benefit. The problem is she’s been silent, letting others speak for her.

Keep that in mind, when (or if) Michelle goes on a “I DIDN’T MEAN IT” talk show tour, starting with Oprah. She clearly meant it.

************Original Post***********
I’ve been pondering all day that stupid ass remark Michelle Obama made and I tried like hell to come up with something relevant, something worthy of inquisitive eyes. You know what I could not come up with anything to say, her comments, so outlandish and repugnant there is no explaining her either colossal stupidity or she has already learned that there will always be a segment of the American population, where playing the victim makes you somehow noble, cool, aware, a proud non conformist.
Politics is already a cesspool of corruption made up of the most egotistical manipulative people on the planet. Michelle fits in nicely.

I think about my own life, I’m as Middle American as they come, ridiculously simple, wanting for nothing, I have a nice job, one where I can easily work until I’m 70 or more in relative comfort.
I have a great wife, a loving family, some issues, but certainly nothing that causes me any great concern.
I have been virtually around this entire nation, and had the opportunity to travel Europe.
I have been involved in some great endeavors, had the opportunity to meet and work with some extraordinary people.
Mrs. Snoop and I are not wealthy folks, not will we ever be, unless we hit the lotto, but I’m cool with that.

I have never climbed towering peaks, rode the great wave, or sought the adrenalin rush of lets say bungee jumping off a picturesque bridge or skydiving into a beautiful valley.
I have never had the opportunity to either speak to or perform before a crowd of thousands with adoring applauses afterwards.
I have never made it big on Wall Street, nor have I closed a multi-million dollar real estate or business deal.
I have never owned a business, never with my own two hands constructed my own home.

Although I have many times experienced racism, been treated less than fair on some occasions, and have been frustrated at some of the decisions I have made that caused me to take a less than desirable path. Good, bad or otherwise I have never questioned the greatness of this nation nor oblivious to the fact that if I desired to achieve greatness that being an American gives me a distinct advantage millions come here to take advantage of each year.
This nation provides an abundance of opportunities to those that CHOOSE to take advantage of it.

Michelle Obama the wife of a man in a very exclusive club, United States Senator.
Friend of and political partner of arguable the richest and most influential woman in the world Oprah Winfrey.
This woman, hugely successful with more money that I will ever see, I guess is not proud or our American standard of living compared to people throughout the world.
Even in some of America’s most impoverished areas our poor are not living in grass huts, without running water. Let not forget most likely drive decent automobiles, has multiple TV’s (with cable) and most of their lives paid for on the backs of hard working Americans.

I’m sure in the next day or so, she will qualify her remarks and try to brush them aside.
To me this little incident only outlines just how far politics has fallen in this nation.
To think that by disparaging a nation that has provided her with so much is in her mind “necessary” to court the political favor of those who would just assume this nation be brought to its knees is frankly sickening.

What the hell, all I can say is we simply need to make damm sure that individuals like Michelle Obama and her ilk are not bestowed the honor of representing this nation as first lady.

I’m sure one of those diseased ravaged, war torn, AIDS infested African countries will make her queen.
But ya know the funny thing is one of her first acts as African queen would be to meet with evil American leaders to beg for money.

Yes, America sucks until you need our damm money, or the blood of our soldiers to liberate you.

In election 2008, don’t forget Angry White Man

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

hillary31.jpgRush shared this on his show today, so I’m passing it on.

By Gary Hubbell - February 9, 2008 - Aspen Times News

There is a great amount of interest in this year’s presidential elections, as everybody seems to recognize that our next president has to be a lot better than George Bush. The Democrats are riding high with two groundbreaking candidates — a woman and an African-American — while the conservative Republicans are in a quandary about their party’s nod to a quasi-liberal maverick, John McCain. Each candidate is carefully pandering to a smorgasbord of special-interest groups, ranging from gay, lesbian and transgender people to children of illegal immigrants to working mothers to evangelical Christians.

There is one group no one has recognized, and it is the group that will decide the election: the Angry White Man. The Angry White Man comes from all economic backgrounds, from dirt-poor to filthy rich. He represents all geographic areas in America, from urban sophisticate to rural redneck, deep South to mountain West, left Coast to Eastern Seaboard.

His common traits are that he isn’t looking for anything from anyone — just the promise to be able to make his own way on a level playing field. In many cases, he is an independent businessman and employs several people. He pays more than his share of taxes and works hard.

The victimhood syndrome buzzwords — “disenfranchised,” “marginalized” and “voiceless” — don’t resonate with him. “Press ‘one’ for English” is a curse-word to him. He’s used to picking up the tab, whether it’s the company Christmas party, three sets of braces, three college educations or a beautiful wedding.

He believes the Constitution is to be interpreted literally, not as a “living document” open to the whims and vagaries of a panel of judges who have never worked an honest day in their lives.

The Angry White Man owns firearms, and he’s willing to pick up a gun to defendhillarymarines.JPG his home and his country. He is willing to lay down his life to defend the freedom and safety of others, and the thought of killing someone who needs killing really doesn’t bother him.

The Angry White Man is not a metrosexual, a homosexual or a victim. Nobody like him drowned in Hurricane Katrina — he got his people together and got the hell out, then went back in to rescue those too helpless and stupid to help themselves, often as a police officer, a National Guard soldier or a volunteer firefighter.

His last name and religion don’t matter. His background might be Italian, English, Polish, German, Slavic, Irish, or Russian, and he might have Cherokee, Mexican, or Puerto Rican mixed in, but he considers himself a white American.

He’s a man’s man, the kind of guy who likes to play poker, watch football, hunt white-tailed deer, call turkeys, play golf, spend a few bucks at a strip club once in a blue moon, change his own oil and build things. He coaches baseball, soccer and football teams and doesn’t ask for a penny. He’s the kind of guy who can put an addition on his house with a couple of friends, drill an oil well, weld a new bumper for his truck, design a factory and publish books. He can fill a train with 100,000 tons of coal and get it to the power plant on time so that you keep the lights on and never know what it took to flip that light switch.

Women either love him or hate him, but they know he’s a man, not a dishrag. If they’re looking for someone to walk all over, they’ve got the wrong guy. He stands up straight, opens doors for women and says “Yes, sir” and “No, ma’am.”

He might be a Republican and he might be a Democrat; he might be a Libertarian or a Green. He knows that his wife is more emotional than rational, and he guides the family in a rational manner.

He’s not a racist, but he is annoyed and disappointed when people of certain backgrounds exhibit behavior that typifies the worst stereotypes of their race. He’s willing to give everybody a fair chance if they work hard, play by the rules and learn English.

Most important, the Angry White Man is pissed off. When his job site becomes flooded with illegal workers who don’t pay taxes and his wages drop like a stone, he gets righteously angry. When his job gets shipped overseas, and he has to speak to some incomprehensible idiot in India for tech support, he simmers. When Al Sharpton comes on TV, leading some rally for reparations for slavery or some such nonsense, he bites his tongue and he remembers. When a child gets charged with carrying a concealed weapon for mistakenly bringing a penknife to school, he takes note of who the local idiots are in education and law enforcement.

He also votes, and the Angry White Man loathes Hillary Clinton. Her voice reminds him of a shovel scraping a rock. He recoils at the mere sight of her on television. Her very image disgusts him, and he cannot fathom why anyone would want her as their leader. It’s not that she is a woman. It’s that she is who she is. It’s the liberal victim groups she panders to, the “poor me” attitude that she represents, her inability to give a straight answer to an honest question, his tax dollars that she wants to give to people who refuse to do anything for themselves.

There are many millions of Angry White Men. Four million Angry White Men are members of the National Rifle Association, and all of them will vote against Hillary Clinton, just as the great majority of them voted for George Bush.

He hopes that she will be the Democratic nominee for president in 2008, and he will make sure that she gets beaten like a drum.

Obama Caught Plagiarizing 2006 Speech?

Monday, February 18th, 2008
Big Head DC  - has discovered alarming similarities between a speech made by Sen. Barack Obama on February 16 while campaigning for president in Wisconsin and an October 2006 speech made by Deval Patrick, the current Democratic governor of Massachusetts. The coincidences would seem to indicate that Obama copied several lines and linguistic speech patterns from Patrick’s “Just Words” speech for Obama’s own “Words Matter” speech. Indeed, words do matter. And they matter even more when they are one’s own words.

The two speeches can be compared, in all their eerie detail, via YouTube:

Plagiarizing a speech during a presidential campaign was enough to end Sen. Joe Biden’s first bid for the presidency. From Wikipedia:

In 1987, Joe Biden ran as a Democratic presidential candidate. When the campaign began, he was considered a frontrunner because of his moderate image. However, the campaign ended when he was accused of plagiarizing a speech by Neil Kinnock, then-leader of the British Labour Party. Though Biden had correctly credited the original author in all speeches but one, the one where he failed to make mention of the originator was caught on video. In the video Biden is filmed repeating a stump speech by Kinnock, with only minor modifications.

Still deny that global warming is a religion?

Monday, February 18th, 2008

ralphgw.JPG

Reading, writing and . . . global warming?A Silicon Valley lawmaker is gaining momentum with a bill that would require “climate change” to be among the science topics that all California public school students are taught.

The measure, by state Sen. Joe Simitian, D-Palo Alto, also would mandate that future science textbooks approved for California public schools include climate change.

“You can’t have a science curriculum that is relevant and current if it doesn’t deal with the science behind climate change,” Simitian said. “This is a phenomenon of global importance and our kids ought to understand the science behind that phenomenon.”

The state Senate approved the bill, SB 908, Jan. 30 by a 26-13 vote. It heads now to the state Assembly. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has taken numerous actions to reduce global warming, but he has yet to weigh in on Simitian’s bill. Other Republicans in the Capitol, however, are not happy about the proposal.

Hope, Change, Change, Hope Changing Hope and hopeless change…

Friday, February 15th, 2008

If you have never heard one of Obama’s speeches, well here is a sample:
*******
obama4.jpgI believe in hope and change. I believe that when hope is in short supply change is just the ingredient we need to make change a reality.
In America we need more change because change is the driving force behind hope.
When I tuck my kids in bed at night I dream of a day when hope becomes a reality for our young people. I fear that without change hope will not be a reality.

The Republicans don’t believe in change. They are stuck in a hopeless reality that does not allow them to see the clear vision of change. With a Democrat in the White House we can make hope a reality through change, because without change hope is hopeless.

We can’t idly sit by and allow hope to die because people refuse to believe that change is possible. People change everyday from their clothes to directions in their cars. With hope more change is possible. Change is a good thing, change can bring us hope and with that hope change is something we can hold onto.

People, we have lived without hope for far too long. We need to make change in America a priority. Change is not only good for our babies but our old folks as well. But we need hope to change our minds our bodies and our spirits. God wants us to change because God believed in hope for us all. Martin Luther King once said that he had a dream, a dream of change and hope for all Americans.
Without change my people would still be on plantations and without hope your dreams cannot be a reality.

My hope for all of you is that you too will be open to change. We all need to embrace change so that we may all envision hope. Hope is within our grasp, all we need to do is change. My hope is that all of you who support my run for the presidency can see the goodness and righteousness of change. Working for change means that hope can be a reality for all American’s.

Change with me people, so that hope can become a reality for us all.

“Larry Elder Supports John McCain” - Now I will explain why I don’t give a shit!

Friday, February 15th, 2008

mccaincourage.jpg

With all due respect to my fellow blogger at Politik Ditto and any other “conservative, republican blogger or part time pundit, I’m stunned at the amount of limited political framework many of you people have. Now this particular quote is from Larry Elder, you can read the full quote here, but this is symptomatic of what I keep reading in the right blogsphere and from right leaning pundits who are either remarkable clueless or are simply trying to kiss John McCain’s tired ass because they don’t want to be thrown under the bus when the old bastard wins the presidency.

This is why, when you listen to pundits, either on the radio or on one of the increasingly annoying talk shows take that into consideration, what do they have to gain by dissing McCain? If you are a Rush Limbaugh or Mark Levin who are steadfast in their disdain for McCain they don’t give a fuck about McCain and their success does not hinge on McCain blessing them or reaching out to them.

But before I continue, read the quote:

As to the Supreme Court, think of the many 5-4 decisions, including but not limited to, Bush v. Gore, the decision that put President Bush in the White House. McCain supported nominees like Justices Alito, Thomas, Scalia, and Roberts. Why, he even voted for the “reactionary” Judge Robert Bork. Justice John Paul Stevens is 87 years old, with four more justices near or over 70. One more conservative appointee, and Roe v. Wade could be history. Are principled conservatives truly willing to allow that decision to remain for at least another generation? To quote another John, this time McEnroe, “You cannot be serious!”

Now first ask yourself, why would Elder make this particular statement? I’m thinking no shit Sherlock, that would be one seemingly logical assumption. But Elder is on the lower rung of the talk show posse. Don’t you think that with Elder, being right leaning that he just might want McCain to appear on his talk show one of these days?

However as we will soon see pundits will keep this bullshit trying to browbeat folks into being more enthusiastic about McCain. I’m like fuck McCain, don’t like him, won’t vote for him and I have my little corner of the blogsphere to give my 100 percent honest assessment of him.
Just imagine us in a nice pub somewhere knocking down some shots of your favorite whisky chatting.

First McCain in his early days will no doubt rail about Iraq, the war on terror, national security, bla bla bla, Democrats will again be pissed at fucking up another run at the White House and will no doubt will be bitching that Bush stole the election AGAIN.
But remember more than being president these people run for the presidency to leave a legacy and McCain, someone who is already prone to working with idiot Democrats in order to “get things done” on the domestic front, he will no doubt throw out the olive branch for his domestic agenda.

This is where our friend Elder is either remarkable dense or he conveniently leaves it out of his little rant.

McCain likely will be facing a Congress with larger majorities of Democrats than it now has.
It is far more likely that there will be significant Democratic gains in the Senate. The House looks decent for them too. If President McCain wants legislative victories, he will have to turn to those majorities to get them enacted. And he will be happy to do so. That’s how McCain has always operated, and there is no reason to believe that if he becomes president, he will operate in any other manner.

The conservatives who have opposed McCain during the campaign have cited his positions on immigration, campaign finance, climate change, tax cuts, and legal rights for detainees where he has sided with Democrats.

When McCain decides to work with the Democrats, he is really with them full throttle.
McCain is not someone who simply reaches across the aisle to form coalitions with the other side. He walks across the aisle, and gets into the Democrat huddle.
Every president wants to accomplish shit, no matter how stupid; anyone with any measure of common fucken sense knows he will have to do so on the Democrats’ terms.
So people like Elder can run this “Supreme Court bullshit” all they want, but if you think McCain will be able to get away with nominating conservative leaning types to the court you are badly mistaken.

A John McCain presidency will be a huge disaster for Republicans, that statement is slight irrelevant now of course, if Obama is the Democrat nominee, McCain will be the prez unless he does something or says something stupid in a debate like, “we are going to be in Iraq for 100 years.” Old white people are the strongest voting block, old white people, now in their late 60’s or 70’s, the ones who either stood on the sidelines, pretended that it was not going on, or did not give a shit while black folks we being lynched, and denied access to public places and creating suburbia escaping from Negros are not likely to vote for a socialist Negro.

These Republicans like Romney who are now speaking up for McKein, are doing so out of party loyalty and possible future perks.
Political pundits who speak in favor of McCain are doing so because they want to get on his good side.
Jesus people when you read or hear about candidate endorsements ask yourself one simple question, what does that individual have to gain by pimping for candidate A or B?

If McCain is the prez, and you are a reporter or pundit you don’t think dude will have you sitting in the corner of the White House briefing room behind a support post?
Consider this the next time you read these blogs now as many of them are now political insiders and subject to perks.

Politics are not that difficult to figure out when you factor in the “what’s in it for me” element.

Obama Unplugged - Lost without a Teleprompter

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

obamavictory.jpgA portion of an article from The Weekly Standard

In spite of Obama’s obvious strengths in this area (political hope and “change” rhetoric), questions linger regarding Obama’s gifted speechifying. Do his speeches give us a glimpse at a very special man with a unique vision? Or are we merely witnessing a political one-trick pony? Yes, Obama can turn a phrase better and do more with a Teleprompter than any other modern era politician. But does his special skill set here actually mean anything, or is it instead the political equivalent of a dog walking on its hind legs–unusual and riveting, but not especially significant?

Regardless, the liberal commentators have gushed their praise nearly every time Obama has opened his mouth before a Teleprompter the past few monthsIt was thus interesting to see Obama climb to the stage at Virginia’s Jefferson-Jackson Dinner on Saturday night. As he strode to the podium, Obama clutched in his hands a pile of 3 by 5 index cards. The index cards meant only one thing–no Teleprompter.

Shorn of his Teleprompter, we saw a different Obama. His delivery was halting and unsure. He looked down at his obviously copious notes every few seconds throughout the speech. Unlike the typical Obama oration where the words flow with unparalleled fluidity, he stumbled over his phrasing repeatedly.

The prepared text for his remarks, as released on his website, sounded a lot like a typical Obama speech. All the Obama dramatis personae that we’ve come to know so well were there–the hapless family that had to put a “for sale” sign on its front lawn, the factory forced to shutter its doors and, of course, the mother who declares bankruptcy because “she cannot pay her child’s medical bills.”

The tone was also vintage Obama. The prepared text reached out to all Americans, including (gasp!) Republicans. It also evidenced Obama’s signature lack of anger. While his colleagues have happily demagogued complex issues and demonized the Bush administration, Obama always has taken pains to strike a loftier tone.

But Saturday night’s stem-winder turned out quite differently from the typical Obama speech. With no Teleprompter signaling the prepared text, Obama failed to deliver the speech in his characteristically flawless fashion. He had to rely on notes. And his memory. And he improvised.

Are we ready for “Barichelle?”

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

michelle.jpg
This is from Confederate Yankee

Eight Years of “Billary” was enough for most of us. Are we ready for “Barichelle?”

On a conference call to prepare for a recent debate, Barack Obama brainstormed with his top advisers on the fine points of his positions. Michelle Obama had dialed in to listen, but finally couldn’t stay silent any longer.
“Barack,” she interjected, “Feel — don’t think!” Telling her husband his “over-thinking” during past debates had tripped him up with rival Hillary Clinton, she said: “Don’t get caught in the weeds. Be visceral. Use your heart — and your head.”The campaign veterans shut up. They knew that Mrs. Obama’s opinion and advice mattered more to their candidate than anything they could say.

Considering his lightweight resume featuring no executive experience on any level and only fleeting legislative experience of less than one term in the U.S. Senate, do we really want a presidential candidate to run his campaign on feelings?

*****
Quickly, let me give you white folks who peep this piece a little insight into the Negro world.
In the unlikely event that Obama wins the presidency if you thought Hillary was bad in the White House Michelle Obama will make her look almost submissive by comparison.

If there is even a hint of Obama occupying the West Wing you will start to see and read more about the stereotypical leanings of black women and the “bossy” tag.
Some black folks might say that tag is grossly unfair but the typical media onscreen stereotype is closer to reality than not.
The typical black women you see on TV or a movie is what, typically finding herself in an exchange that is either confrontational or embarrassing. And her best line is often little more than a sassy “Mmmm hmmm.”

Now Michelle Obama is not your typical “overweight” black woman you see characterized, these stereotypes typically consisting of the heavy black women being a boisterous and sometimes aggressive. We all have seen this for some time in stand-up comedy routines and in movies like “Big Momma’s House’’ and “Diary of a Mad Black Woman.’’ Hell the pieces are produced by directors and writers who are black themselves.
From what little I have seen and read about Michelle Obama, the “stereotype” of strong, aggressive and controlling is dead on.
She is not going to back down; she will not be the submissive, ladylike, smile and wave type of first lady.

I see Michelle Obama as what most of us black folks would call a “preacher’s wife.” In black churches around the country, black women who are married to prominent black preachers/ministers anoint themselves as “queen bee,” they dress and act the part, the adoring preacher husband sitting at the right hand of God, and she at the left.

Now don’t get me wrong, and Mrs. Snoop can verify that I prefer strong, smart, independent women. I could never be married to (although my first wife evolved into) a submissive, docile, weak “dumb down” type of woman.

A lot of white people will be taken aback by Michelle Obama’s strong up front persona, but don’t be shocked if she requests to have a desk in the Oval Office next to her husband.

McCain mocks “suck-ups?” Pot meet kettle.

Tuesday, February 5th, 2008

mccainconservative.jpgFrom Michelle Malkin

Well, this is rich. The GOP’s biggest suck-up to the liberal media is mocking Republican presidential candidates who have decided not to treat the conservative media like pariahs.Because in John McCain’s world, kowtowing to liberals is “outreach.”But treating conservatives with respect is “sucking up.”

Via WaPo:

Holding court for reporters aboard his bus, a confident McCain folded his arms across his chest and delivered a bring-’em-on taunt to his radio foes. “I don’t think that Romney’s going to succeed in getting to the right of me,” he said.

The New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza asked whether the radio hosts’ displeasure might be explained by “the fact that you never tried to court these people, suck up to them like Romney did.”

“Great question!” McCain answered, laughing at the thought. “I never would suck up the way all those other guys did, those suck-ups.”

Nice display of presidential temperament there, eh?

Liberals mourn the failed candidacy of the shiny hair fiend…

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

edwards21.jpg

“And then there were two. With John Edwards dropping out of the Democratic presidential race, we are losing a fierce and committed voice for change and for justice, and I, for one, feel that loss like an ache. One of the signature issues of his campaign — one that is near and dear to my own heart — was Edwards commitment to giving voice to those who have none in our money-driven political process. The Democratic party has long been the champion of the downtrodden and the folks in need, and we have sadly forgotten that obligation to the least of these our bretheren the last few years. John Edwards candidacy has been a daily reminder to pick up the charge of the better angels of our nature, and to speak up against those injustices that too often get shoved to the side for more monied and powerful interests….”

Edwards To Be Obama’s AG… and I should be concerned why?

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

branches.jpg
Flopping Aces had the following:

Even more reason to defeat Obama:

“I got a report from a very close Obama insider in Illinois — somebody who has been in his campaign from the beginning — that they have been talking to the Edwards people and the deal is that if Obama is nominated and elected, John Edwards would be on the top of the list for attorney general.”

But hey, if it’s McCain who is the nominee lets just all stay home.

************************
I know that as the McCain train supposedly moves right along more and more right leaning types will continue to be outraged by the fact that folks like myself will choose to sit out and election and allow crazy Hillary or crazy Obama destroy the company via the Oval Office.

Remember all of the unhinged liberals who were considering suicide after the election of L’il Bush, they were totally convinced that the country was doomed and that we all were going to die!

For someone to make that leap you must subscribe to the logic that the presidency is a dictatorship. Yes they have bully pulpit when it comes to policy, but in case some of you did not take a basic civics class…
***************************

“The Founding Fathers, the framers of the Constitution, wanted to form a government that did not allow one person to have too much authority or control. While under the rule of the British king they learned that this could be a bad system. Yet government under the Articles of Confederation taught them that there was a need for a strong centralized government.

With this in mind the framers wrote the Constitution to provide for a separation of powers, or three separate branches of government. Each has its own responsibilities and at the same time they work together to make the country run smoothly and to assure that the rights of citizens are not ignored or disallowed. This is done through checks and balances. A branch may use its powers to check the powers of the other two in order to maintain a balance of power among the three branches of government.

The three branches of the U.S. Government are the legislative, executive, and judicial. A complete diagram of the branches of the U.S. Government may be found in the U.S. Government Manual (PDF).

**********************************
If Barack Hussein Obama is able to con the majority of Americans into voting for him and even if that moronic idiot bastard Edwards is made Attorney General so what!?
If he fucks it up as much we all know he will this country will still manage to survive. What the hell, I’ll repeat AGAIN, not that any of you gives a shit, I will not support any of the current Republican nominees, none deserves my vote and I will not sacrifice my political values simply to support “the Republican” (don’t make me laugh) that old tired ass closet Democrat fraud e.
Boring political stump speeches, fraudulent campaign rhetoric, lying, distortion, political party scare tactics won’t change that.
If you people want to exercise your right to elect a fraud to the presidency, that is your choice and I respect that.
But damm I am reading so many of these bloggers and political writers who are trying to set off that symbolic alarm to say, if you don’t vote McCain we are all doomed! Fuck that.
Regardless of who is elected president, I will not love my children grandchildren my family in particular Mrs. Snoop any less.

If you are truly worried about who will win this presidential race then frankly you need a serious psychological evaluation or you need to get drunk, laid, or both.

Barack Obama screwed up, Attack on Hillary Backfires

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

The post below is from a blogger Aidan Maconachy from back in June of last year. I remember reading about Obama’s connection with this Tony Rezko dude months ago. Now his attack on Mrs. Bill opened a door he should have avoided opening.
But forget about that, attacking the King and Queen of dirty politics is a HUGE mistake.
I’m certain they have a library of dirt on Obama and if he goes down that road they Mr and Mrs. Bill will slap him down like a runaway slave.

Barack Obama’s campaign recently accused Hillary Clinton of fund raising among Indian-Americans and investing with an Indian company. This of course also includes the suggestion that the senator is a supporter of outsourcing. India, in the eyes of some, has become almost like an off-shore service center. Many union members see this as selling out America and it is a hugely divisive issue.
There were two main problems with this tactic. Even if there is truth to the accusation, it plays to anti-Indian sentiment and there isn’t enough in the way of damning evidence to make it stick in a manner that will pay off for Obama.Another problem relates to perception. The view that the senator is a gung ho free trader goes back to the administration of Bill Clinton. The problem with that perception is that senator Clinton has put distance between herself and the former administration of her husband given that she is now a candidate in her own right.

rezko.jpgA statement released by the Obama campaign, appeared shortly after senator Clinton’s congressional financial disclosure forms went public. The statement accused the Clintons of accruing “significant financial rewards from their relationship with the Indian community.” It also included a reference to the senator as - “Sen.Clinton (D-Punjab)”.

This comes off as juvenile at best, racist at worst and in general not the type of petty attack you would expect from America’s self-proclaimed unifier.

I frankly doubt if Obama himself was in on this. It seems more like the work of over enthusiastic staffers looking to increase the profile of the campaign with a broadside intended to grab attention. As it turns out, it attracted the wrong type of attention.

The head of the US-India Political Action Committee, Sanjay Puri, relayed his displeasure and suggested the Obama campaign may be trafficking in “anti Indian-American stereotyping”. The protests hit home and Obama apologized to leaders of the Indian-American community.

Obviously in terms of demographics, the Indian-American community isn’t a major factor at the polls at this juncture in US history, but that is hardly the point. The fall-out from this gaff comes down to perceptions. Obama’s support has been slipping of late. He didn’t hit his stride in the TV debates and seemed nervous at times. He even admitted to having a case of the jitters. Incidents such as “D-Punjab” followed by yet another apology, risk making him appear unfocused and even weak. His claim to be about unity and a fresh vision is bound to suffer when attacks of this sort are judged to be petty and self-serving.

His stance as a campaign finance reform champion, has also been tarnished to some degree by his long standing connections with Tony Rezko, variously described as a “gangster” or “slum landlord” or even “regular Chicago-style business type guy” - depending on your point-of-view. Whether or not Rezko is more like a Donald Trump than a Tony Soprano is hard to say, but once again it comes down to perceptions.

Obama’s tendency to under-perform on the big stage along with recent gaffs makes you wonder if he is capable of landing a major punch under pressure that can hit the mark and score needed points.
