johnmccainpirate.jpgFrom RIGHT WING NUTHOUSE - By Rick Moran

A secret operative working for this website has gotten a hold of the speech John McCain will gh. If you think I’m going to change my position on an issue……..

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS BULLSHIT!!!

Rick Moran | elvenstar522@aol.com | IP: 205.188.116.142Are you so bereft of ideas of your own that you simply cut and paste entire posts from someone else’s blog on your website? You’re a whore.*****************************
SNOOP DELETED THIS ENTRY BECAUSE THIS MUTHERFUCKER CALLED ME A WHORE!!!!!!!!

What the fuck!?

Jesus Christ dude, you wrote a funny entry, I like your blog, IN FACT you don’t know it but I met you some time ago, seemed like a decent dude, But fuck it, does not matter. Sure I could have pasted the first paragraph and linked back to your blog, you mean to tell me that you are that fucken shallow that despite the fact that the post clearly says you wrote it and it’s obvious to my readers that I did not write the fucken post you will write that bullshit. Fell free to send me back a reply via the comments section and I’ll delete the fucken post and remove you from my sidebar.

My blog is like a personal diary, I post entries that interest me, and I make every effort to give credit and links to posts. Anybody who reads my blog knows I do that. Every once in awhile I rant and its clear what entries I write.

I have had this fucken blog up for two years and I post entries from other blogs all the damm time, nobody gives a shit because I give them credit. How else did you know that I posted your damm entry?
This is exactly what I said in a recent entry that too many of you fucken bloggers are becoming Prima donna’s. I’m not trying to steal shit, I don’t make money off of ads, I’m not paid to blog, I have a goddamm daytime job.
If your words are that fucken sacred, just tell me to remove the fucken entry (tis gone), feel better now!

It’s the principle of the matter. Also well known blog etiquette. I can’t believe you’ve been blogging two years and don’t know that.

It’s not being a “prima donna” - what you posted was my intellectual property. And btw, you’d be surprised how many people will think you wrote it. The only other time I’ve complained - about 2 years ago - was when someone posted my entire Katrina timeline on their blog. They gave me credit but there were a couple of bloggers who attributed it to the person who posted the entire timeline.

my reply…

Fuck it I deleted it, blog etiquette my ass, I have posted other shit of yours and NOW you complain, I have had this blog up for a couple of years and had another blog for two years prior. Well over a million hits, I have posted partial entries of every blog on my sidebar.

But NOW, you complain, NOBODY would mistake anything I rant about with what you wrote, but who cares, like I said I deleted your intellectual property.

I have met some great people via blogs and happily posted their entries, and I respect and admire their work, but I guess eventually someone like you comes along.

Send me a nice note politely telling me to reduce the content, make the link to your post bigger something, anything, but naw I’m a fucken whore, fucking unbelievable.

You know what you can do with your intellectual property.

I’ll post this on my site for everyone to see what an asshole you are. I guess you forget bloggers like yourself are a dime a dozen.

A lib on: “Right wing logic”

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007

UPDATE: I knew throwing out an insult bone to this blog would yield the source of quote he was bitching about.
liberals14.jpg

I found this short post here , dude is pointing out a statement found on a right wing blog:

“I fear the Democrats in Congress far more than I fear al Qaeda!”

I just read that statement on a right wing weblog. Honest, I did. I would not make it up. I’ll not provide a link, so you’ll have to take my word for it.

This person fears a group of his fellow Americans who belong to a different political party than his own more than he fears an organization whose sole purpose is his death and the destruction of his homeland.

That, my friends, is the kind of twisted logic that is required of members of the modern Republican party. It is also a perfect example of the legacy of George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and Karl Rove.

Above all, it is very, very sad testament to the current state of our nation.

Here is the source of the quote:

On the evening of Thursday August 2nd, 2007 GOP Congressman walked off the floor of the US house and effectively shut it down for the evening. It was the smartest move I have seen the Republicans make on Capitol Hill for a while now.

If only we could get the GOP Senators to do the same….

The only time the country is truly safe is when the National Legislature is shut down! I fear the Democrats in Congress far more than I fear al Qaeda!

What Americans see in Congress now, is the best example I can think of to exemplify the reason so many of us wanted “Term Limits”. It is also the reason so many of THEM did not!

Now, we Conservatives and Liberals fuss, and argue, with each other on a continuous basis. That’s what we do. It is healthy for our country. Both of us have a set of core beliefs and we believe, deep down at our core, that we are right. I see nothing wrong with that. But now, as we argue with each other, I have noticed, of late, that both sides seem to share a certain shame over the conduct of those elected to Congress to represent them, respectively in the national legislature. I gotta tell you… we DO have some real “lulus” in Congress!

Take a look at the crowd in Congress: We have a group who need to be in prison. We have a group who need to be back home, and we have a group who need to be in a nursing home somewhere!

But, you see, we have an electorate so “dumb”, so uneducated about their own country, about their own form of government, about the Founding Fathers, about the way government is supposed to work in this country, as dictated by the original constitution, that the power happy mad men, and mad women, in the Congress can get away with, durn near, anything by simply SAYING it is constitutional. Who is going to challenge them? Huh? You? Me? Who, exactly, will stand up and say: “Enough! We demand a return to Constitutional Government in this country”!

Read the full entry here

As you can see dude makes a lot of sense, yes this idiot liberal took one part of it to make this guy seem like some reactionary loon and to do what all liberals like to do, paint right leaning types as crazy, racist, dumb whatever.

Remember liberals are scared of you radical Conservative types:

Since the New Deal, Republicans have been on the wrong side of every issue of concern to ordinary Americans; Social Security, the war in Vietnam, equal rights, civil liberties, church- state separation, consumer issues, public education, reproductive freedom, national health care, labor issues, gun policy, campaign-finance reform, the environment
and tax fairness. No political party could remain so consistently wrong by accident.
The only rational conclusion is that, despite their cynical “family values” propaganda, the Republican Party is a criminal conspiracy to betray the interests of the American people
in favor of plutocratic and corporate interests, and absolutist religious groups.

Twisted logic and ranting banter can only be found on blogs by EVIL right wing feces throwing monkeys!!

He did comment on my intrusion on his blog

Punk, your site says you are located in Isb. I don’t know where that is. Sorry.Anyway, what you say is all true. However, those things are the results and actions of a Republican administration in the United States. The Democrats really are trying to fix things.

But you are right. The world does not, unfortunately, differentiate.

Crap can you believe that shit, he called me a PUNK! I have not been called a punk since this senile old white dude chased me off his lawn when I was 10! God that is just too funny!

This just in: Snoop is not part of the blog elite - Blogging Elitism

Tuesday, August 21st, 2007

eliteblog.jpgI found this piece on the blog Outside the Beltway

For some years now, bloggers have been portrayed (and have portrayed themselves) as grass-roots outsiders, rebels storming the privileged bastions of the journalistic elite. I’m not sure that image was ever accurate, and the hierarchy of the blogosphere is probably becoming more elitist every day, as more establishment organizations seek to carve out a place in the medium. (source)

McCain notes that even the original Wonkette, Ana Marie Cox, has degrees from Chicago and Berkeley.
Almost all the top bloggers have graduate or professional degrees, mostly from elite schools. As I’ve noted many times over the years (see, for example, “Professionalization of the Blogosphere“), it stands to reason that the blogosphere would be dominated by academics and lawyers, who tend to have both the intellectual training and the time available to spend large chunks of their day processing information and churning out interesting commentary on it. The pure hobbyists like John Amato and Ed Morrissey, who have achieved huge readership simply through passion and hard work, are exceptional, indeed.

Take a look at the rest of the Atlantic’s bloggers, and see if you can’t discern a certain pattern in the educational pedigree:

Ross Douthat — Harvard.

Matthew Yglesias — Harvard.

Marc Armbinder — Harvard.

James Fallows — Harvard, graduate degree from Oxford.

Andrew Sullivan — Oxford, with master’s and Ph.D. from Harvard.

Caution Snoop rant: I’m slightly cranky today so keep in mind as you decipher this rant…

To first be amongst the blogging elite you must be able to;

1 - Type proficiently, that goes without saying.

2 - Avoid vitriolic attacks against those with whom you may disagree.

3 - Be fair and accommodating to your readers.

4 – Don’t say shit, fuck, damm, motherfucker, the N word in your posts.

5 – Be white… yes, be white. No I’m not being racial AGAIN, but it tis a fact.

The blogsphere is quickly turning into an extension of the MSM where you must be part of the good ole white boyz network for your opinions to matter.

This is the same reason why all talking head shows feature the same ole rhetoric spewing bobble head old white dudes on all networks.
The blogsphere has this closed inner circle of self promoting types pimping each other to keep readership up and ads revenues flowing.

I see way too often on blogs “blog polls” with an exclusive circle of approved bloggers to promote like minded thought or these “my favorite blog” rankings of approved blog resources.

I consciously try to make an effort and read some of the smaller blogs with interesting, funny and witty commentary. It not just about how many people are reading a particular blog. Hell if certain blogs are all pimping each other of course readership will inevitable increase and stay strong.

Blogging should be more defined by the raw thought and emotion that comes from your average Jane or Joe and not some cheese eating, wine sipping faux political insiders.

Besides, me, I’m not that deep, when it comes to assessing the colossal stupidity of some folks and politicians sometimes a good ole “You are a fucken idiot” is sufficient, although intellectual types might cringe at my unabashed barbarianism.
It’s clear a PhD is not writing this blog. No degrees of higher education clutter my office walls. Although I do have some cool pictures of political folks, jazz prints and a nice view any PhD type would envy.

People who are paid to blog are not bloggers in my opinion. It is unfortunate that media establishments and political campaigns are hiring these elite types’ to impersonate bloggers and blurring the line between raw passionate political and societal dialogue with canned partisan commentary.
