Not all Democrats in Congress bother to be subtle about their hostility toward our culture, and their eagerness to pander to those who share that hostility.A few weeks ago Congress passed a resolution recognizing the brutal terrorist cult Islam as “one of the great religions of the world” and honoring Ramadan. It passed unanimously.

Then came a resolution with similar wording, honoring Christmas, and decrying violence against Christians around the world. Nine Congresskooks were bold enough in their depravity to vote against it:

Ten others voted “present”; here’s a surprise: one of them (Mike Pence of Indiana) isn’t a Democrat.

Presumably all of these characters have more Christians in their districts than Muslims. Whoever they’re representing, it isn’t the misguided voters who put them in office.

Y’all know I’m very much a Republican and I have ranted often about how screwed up Democrats are and why all of us Republicans need to work hard at keeping as many of these Democrat jackasses out of office as possible.

I heard Tom Brokaw on a radio interview talking about how we need to abandon partisan politics and come together in peace and harmony put our political positions aside for the sake of the nation.
Is Tom on crack? Seriously, is there anyone out there reading this post that actually thinks that abandoning YOUR political ideology and core principals is a good thing? And substitute them for what?

Let me tell you, the notion that I could somehow, alter my political leaning to become more “tolerant” of Democrats and their views “for the sake of the nation” is just retarded.

The post above is one of many examples of why I find the majority of liberal Democrats repugnant.
Democrats routinely sacrifice the safety, security and core American values that make this nation great, simply for political gain. Democrats actually take pride in; bashing and maligning our military, attacking core Christian values, catering to elements that actively seek to destroy this nation i.e. wiping the collective asses of radical Islamic types.
Democrats are proficient in promoting race baiting politics, poverty pimping, loathing capitalism; they fight harder to protect American trees rather than the American people, they actually believe we are not taxed enough and they are successful at promoting the notion that they and only they are the champions of promoting civil rights and
Democrats have a perpetual hard on for increasing bureaucracy.

I don’t know about you, but I want Democrats to lose, I want them relegated to the back of the political ideological bus forever.
Tom Brokaw and anyone else preaching this political reconciliation bullshit needs to start paying attention to the stupid shit Democrats say and do every damm day.

Madonna has outraged animal rights groups by dyeing her pet sheep different colours for a photo shoot.The ‘Hung Up’ singer and her director husband Guy Ritchie have been branded “irresponsible” after colouring their sheep blue, pink, yellow and green for a Vogue spread at their English country estate, in Wiltshire.

A spokesman for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) said: “Why is it necessary and what are they trying to prove? It is an irresponsible publicity stunt.”

The couple say the shoot - which will feature in new book ‘Vogue Living: House, Gardens, People’ - was staged in homage to legendary photographer Cecil Beaton. The noted portrait photographer lived on the £9 million Ashcombe Estate during the 30s and 40s.

Madonna, 49, and Guy, 39, also insisted the dye used was temporary and did not harm the animals.

However, the RSPCA do not accept their reasoning, and are adamant the stunt could lead to dangerous copycat incidents.

The source added: “We would really question the need to do it. It really does send out the wrong message about how to use animals.

“Animals used in this sort of publicity stunt can lead to copycats. Even if the dye used in this instance is safe for the animals, other people might copy it with a dye that isn’t safe.”

In the past seven days, approximately 10,500 unborn, defenseless black children have been murdered by abortionists. Abortionists supported by the “prince” who would be king – Barack Hussein Obama – the Congressional Black Caucus, Jesse Jackson, Julian Bond and the NAACP, and Mark Morial, president and CEO of the National Urban League.

Jeanine Pirro, Republican politician, lawyer and prosecutor from New York, appearing on “Hannity & Colmes” Friday said, “These are innocents. … These dogs are bred in silence and raised to tear one another apart. … These dogs cannot lie; the facts speak for themselves.” I submit that children are bred to be loved and nurtured, not sucked out of wombs or burned to death in them, and those facts do not lie either.

Where is the outrage, as over 40,000 black children a month are ripped apart in what should be their most sacred sanctuary? It has been said that Vick’s image will be alongside “vicious, vile images” of dog fighting. Where is the outrage over the image of Margaret Sanger, the patron saint of genocide who, out of contempt for the poor, the black poor specifically, advocated the murder of innocent black children under the guise of a woman’s right to choose?

How many black families will have their lives affected positively or negatively by the alleged barbarous indulgences of Vick? Juxtapose that question by asking how many black scientists, doctors, teachers, lawyers, politicians, diplomats, world leaders, business persons, inventors, ad nauseum have been murdered?

Pirro made a name for herself prosecuting domestic abuse and violence-against-women cases. Is not inserting the equivalent of vacuum hoses into women and ripping apart their unborn children violence against same?

The priorities of America are wrong. The nation and animal-rights groups are beside themselves because a few dogs have been mistreated and destroyed, yet these same people and activist groups support and advocate the slaughter of unborn children. And even worse, if possible, they advocate the breeding of innocent human life for scientific experiments, vis-à-vis embryonic stem cell research.

Liberal blacks and whites loudly applaud those who are quick to blame conservatives and pursue race-based agitprop. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have been invigorated by the allegations against Vick, all the way to their cash registers. Media outlets are beating paths to their doors for comments and appearances. But nowhere is it mentioned that from July 1998 through December 2000, PETA killed over 14,400 dogs, cats and “companion animals.” They stored the dead animals in a walk-in freezer, while contracting with a Virginia Beach company to cremate them. In 2005 alone, they murdered 90.7 percent of the animals they received, while adopting out a paltry 6.8 percent.

Yet these and others are the ones now castigating Vick. Perhaps we should run commercials showing pictures of the fragmented baby parts, tossed in closets, that Obama supported as an Illinois legislator beside one of the dead dogs allegedly belonging to Vick. Maybe we should show the faces of women who have had their internal organs irreparably injured by abortionists alongside said dogs. Or perhaps we should show the children who were aborted alive and living today alongside one of Vick’s dogs – children, I might add, that Obama not only refused to support, but fought against by opposing legislation to protect same while an Illinois legislator.

If ever there were a reason and a time for blacks to rally, that time is now. Instead, their cacophony of silence is deafening. I say, to hell with the dogs until people count.

The Erebusic evil of child genocide, black child genocide specifically, must be stopped. And for those Magdalenian liberals who are as unfamiliar with the name Erebus as they are Greek Mythology, Gene Wolf or Anne Rice – abortion is indeed the very personification of the darkness and hell that shadows our society.

Body Count For Animal “Rights” Group Reaches 14,479; Group Has Walk-In Freezer For Dead Puppies

WASHINGTON — While People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) protests the National Football League today over Michael Vick’s dog-fighting indictment, the animal “rights” group is ignoring its own sordid puppy-killing operation, the Center for Consumer Freedom said today. Public records released by the State of Virginia show that PETA itself has killed 14,479 dogs and cats since 1998, including 90 percent of the animals it took in for “adoption” in 2005. And PETA is presently more than 3 months overdue to report its 2007 numbers.
“It’s astonishing but true,” said Center for Consumer Freedom Director of Research David Martosko. “PETA itself kills helpless, adoptable animals by the thousands out of sheer inconvenience. Why anyone continues to take this bunch of hypocrites seriously is beyond me.”

Documents relating to PETA’s massive animal-killing program can be found on the Internet at www.PETAkillsAnimals.com. In sworn testimony during the January 2007 animal-cruelty trial of two PETA employees, a PETA manager acknowledged that the organization has a walk-in freezer for the purpose of storing dead pets. She also acknowledged that PETA contracts with a Norfolk-area crematory service to dispose of the dead bodies, which measure over a ton each month.

Martosko continued: “PETA’s president acknowledges that her group could ‘become a no-kill shelter overnight.’ But that would mean the group could no longer afford to spend millions of dollars on cheap publicity stunts, to say nothing of harassing pet food companies, restaurants, and medical researchers.”

Another PETA employee faces grand larceny charges in southern Virginia, related to the alleged 2006 theft of a hunting dog and its radio-tracking collar. PETA has not yet indicated whether the dog in question was slated to be put to death.

In case you forgot…

With no apparent sense of irony, they chose the dumpster of a Piggly Wiggly supermarket to drop off the carcasses, wrapped in black plastic bags. Among them were a mother cat with her two very healthy kittens, and seven little puppies – dead by injection.

Nor did either of them appear to evince the slightest cognitive dissonance in acting as agents, and employees, of the very inaptly named “People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals” (PETA). For at least two months they had been slaughtering and dumping animals that they obtained under false pretenses from shelters: they assured the attendants they would find the adoptable animals ‘good homes.’

Andrew Benjamin Cook and Adria Joy Hinkle are charged in a North Carolina court with only 31 felony counts of animal cruelty, eight misdemeanor counts of the illegal disposal of dead animals, and a charge of criminal trespassing. Yet they are apparently responsible for the death of more than a hundred animals. This is ethical?

We must not allow ourselves to be so distracted by the sordid details of this case that we view it as an aberration. Instead, it is all too emblematic of the core “values” of the PETA cash and terror machine.

Anti-fishing activists in America and Europe have intimidated researchers, dispatched topless demonstrators dressed as menacing mermaids to upset children’s fishing programs, and thrown rocks at and sent scuba divers to scare fish away from angling waters. They’ve even tried to bully the Boy Scouts of America into dropping their traditional fishing merit badge.

“We seek to shift the ways animals are viewed, from being a resource to be exploited to that of the community of individuals that they are,” PETA’s Dawn Carr sanctimoniously explained a few years ago.

In a floor speech Thursday, Sen. Robert C. Byrd (D-W. Va.) lashed out, indirectly, at Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, who was recently charged with running a dog-fighting ring in Virginia. The speech might have seemed unusually apocalyptic to those who don’t know how much the octogenarian senator loves dogs (view the video here).In biblical terms, Byrd — wearing a navy-blue tie spotted with dog images — attacked animal cruelty in ways that only he can.”It is a brutal, sadistic event motivated by barbarism of the worst sort and cruelty of the worst, worst, worst, sadistic kind,” Byrd said in a 24-minute address on the matter. “One is left wondering: Who are the real animals? Shit here I am trying to relax in the pool and I take a brief look at the news and I see this news story from the Washington Post about Robert KKK Byrd throwing a back handed temper tantrum aimed indirectly at Michael Vick.

(LINK) Berlin’s polar bear cub Knut is more famous than ever. Even star photographer Annie Leibovitz has been to take his picture. But not everyone loves the little bear. Animal rights activists want him put to sleep because he has been raised on a bottle.

Everyone loves Knut. The three-month-old polar bear born in one of Berlin’s zoos has become a star in the German capital and has won hearts the world over. Indeed, the exact date of his first public appearance — likely to be made later this week — is the subject of almost as much anticipation as the details of Britney Spears Alcoholics Anonymous love affair. It’s impossible not to love the little guy, right?

Well, not quite. Animal rights activists, as SPIEGEL reported Monday, aren’t so enthralled with the polar bear baby. They are concerned that Knut, who is being raised by human hand after his mother rejected him, is in danger of losing touch with the bear necessities. Some would like to see him dead.

“Raising him by hand is not appropriate to the species but rather a blatant violation of animal welfare laws,” animal rights activist Frank Albrecht told the mass circulation newspaper Bild, whose front page headline Monday read “Will Sweet Knut Be Killed by Injection?”

Berlin Zoo is allowing Knut to be raised in such a way that the bear will have a behavioral disorder for the rest of his life, Albrecht believes. “In actual fact, the zoo needs to kill the bear cub,” he adds.

He’s not alone. Wolfram Graf-Rudolf, director of the Aachen Zoo, told the newspaper, “I don’t consider it appropriate for the species that the little polar bear is being raised on a bottle.” The animal will be fixated on his keeper and not be a “real” polar bear, he says. However he feels it is now too late to put Knut out of his supposed misery. “The mistake has been made. One should have had the courage to put him to sleep much earlier.”

The idea isn’t as outlandish as it may at first seem. Although giving Knut a death sentence would likely bring his many fans out on to the streets, baby zoo animals have been killed for the same reason in the past. Two-day-old baby sloth Hugo was put down by lethal injection in Leipzig Zoo at the end of last year, sparking emotional protests.

When it comes to Knut, it is likely that clearer heads will prevail. Wolfgang Apel, head of the German Animal Protection League, called for Knut to be saved. “Making bears into humans has to stop as soon as possible, but we cannot put him to sleep. He has a right to live.”

Others believe that Knut will always be a bear, no matter what. “You can’t domesticate a wild animal,” Rüdiger Schmiedel, director of the German Bear Foundation told SPIEGEL. “When Knut reaches puberty, his keeper is going to get a whack upside the head.” The polar predators are certainly dangerous when fully grown. A Dutch man had his skull bashed in by a polar bear on the Norwegian island of Spitzbergen, and two polar bears in Bremerhaven Zoo badly injured a keeper last September while playing.

“As a polar bear, he is programmed to be a solitary animal,” says bear expert Udo Ganslosser. “So he won’t suffer when his parental figure isn’t able to visit him any more.”

However Knut will find his solitary nature put to the test in the coming days when he makes his first, hotly anticipated public appearance. The zoo had previously said Knut would go on show when he reached 8 kilograms in weight. That target has now been reached — little Knut tipped the scales at 8.6 kilos last Friday.

1) PETA president and co-founder Ingrid Newkirk has described her group’s overall goal as “total animal liberation.” This means no meat, no milk, no zoos, no circuses, no wool, no leather, no hunting, no fishing, and no pets (not even seeing-eye dogs). PETA is also against all medical research that requires the use of animals.

2) Despite its constant moralizing about the “unethical” treatment of animals by restaurant owners, grocers, farmers, scientists, anglers, and countless other Americans, PETA has killed over 14,400 dogs and cats at its Norfolk, Virginia headquarters. During 2005, PETA put to death over 90 percent of the animals it collected from members of the public.

3) PETA has given tens of thousands of dollars to convicted arsonists and other violent criminals. This includes a 2001 donation of $1,500 to the North American Earth Liberation Front (ELF), an FBI-certified “domestic terrorist” group responsible for dozens of firebombs and death threats. During the 1990s, PETA paid $70,200 to an Animal Liberation Front (ALF) activist convicted of burning down a Michigan State University research laboratory. In his sentencing recommendation, a federal prosecutor implicated PETA president Ingrid Newkirk in that crime. And PETA vegetarian campaign coordinator Bruce Friedrich told an animal rights convention in 2001 that “blowing stuff up and smashing windows” is “a great way to bring about animal liberation.”

4) PETA activists regularly target children as young as six years old with anti-meat and anti-milk propaganda, often waiting outside their schools to intercept them as they walk to and from class-without notifying parents. One piece of kid-targeted PETA literature tells small children: “Your Mommy Kills Animals!” PETA brags that its messages reach over 2 million children every year, including thousands reached by e-mail without the permission of their parents. One PETA vice president told the Fox News Channel’s audience: “Our campaigns are always geared towards children, and they always will be.”

5) PETA has used a related organization, the PETA Foundation, to fund the misnamed Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), a deceptive animal rights group that promotes itself as an unbiased source of medical and nutritional information. PCRM’s president also serves as president of the PETA Foundation.

6) PETA runs campaigns seemingly calculated to offend religious believers. One entire PETA website is devoted to the claim-despite ample evidence to the contrary-that Jesus Christ was a vegetarian. PETA holds protests at houses of worship, even suing one church that tried to protect its members from Sunday-morning harassment. Its billboards taunt Christians with the message that hogs “died for their sins.” PETA insists, contrary to centuries of rabbinical teaching, that the Jewish ritual of kosher slaughter shouldn’t be allowed. And its infamous “Holocaust on Your Plate” campaign crassly compares the Jewish victims of Nazi genocide with farm animals.

7) PETA has repeatedly attacked research foundations like the March of Dimes, the Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the American Cancer Society, because they support animal-based research that might uncover cures for birth defects and life-threatening diseases. PETA president Ingrid Newkirk has said that “even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, we would be against it.”

Lexington, Ky. — Today, [tag]PETA[/tag] sent an urgent letter to Cameron McDonald, senior minister of the Southern Acres Christian Church in Lexington, urging him to set a policy prohibiting church-sponsored activities that can harm animals and asking him to use statues or models instead. PETA sent the plea because the church has sponsored “[tag]living Nativity scenes[/tag]”—featuring live animals—in the past. Every year, PETA’s office receives calls from church and community members across the country who are concerned about animals’ welfare and safety—and for good reason.

Animals used as props in seasonal displays are often exposed to temperature extremes and harsh weather. They frequently become stressed when they are transported from one strange place to another, and they are often subject to cruel treatment and danger. Consider the following:

* Brighty, a donkey used in a [tag]Nativity scene[/tag] in Harrisonburg, Va., was savagely beaten by three young men.
* A calf who was used in another Kentucky church’s Nativity scene bolted and spent two days on the run.
* A camel named Ernie escaped from a Maryland churchyard and was hit by a car and killed.
* In Richmond, Va., dogs attacked animals in a Nativity scene, mauling two sheep and causing a terrified donkey to collide with a car after bolting into the street. All three animals were euthanized.

PETA urges churches to celebrate the Nativity in ways that allow animals to experience the comfort and joy of the season too. The River Community Church in Prairieville, La., for example, created an elaborate Nativity production involving more than 55 congregation members—including 40 children wearing colorful costumes and playing the animals’ parts—telling the story from their perspective.

“Christmas is the perfect time to make sure that animals are spared undue fear, stress, cruelty, and danger,” says PETA Director Debbie Leahy. “As we celebrate peace and giving, it’s time to relegate live-animal Nativity scenes to Christmas Past.”
