See for yourself just how “tolerant” they are when pro-life group Pointers for Life put up a display of 4,000 crosses symbolizing murdered fetuses on campus at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Here’s the story:

Students at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point butted heads Thursday after an anti-abortion organization planted 4,000 white crosses on campus to symbolize aborted fetuses and a student responded by pulling hundreds of them out of the ground.The display, sponsored by Pointers for Life and planted on Isadore Street outside the Health Enhancement Center, is called “Cemetery of the Innocents” and features crosses and anti-abortion and religious signs, one of which reads “Seek Jesus.”The group has come to expect minor vandalism each time it displays the exhibit, but students were shocked when Roderick King pulled up many of the crosses in protest.

“It’s just so disrespectful, and it’s disappointing that this comes from UWSP students. I’ve always thought of this campus as a tolerant place. … Someone made these (crosses) with their own hands,” said Pointers for Life member Tracey Oudenhoven.

King eventually left the site of the display after speaking with Protective Services officials, but he later returned to protest. King said his anger was not just politically charged, but also related to the anonymity of the exhibit.

Dick Durbin and Senatorial Committee chair, Sen. Chuck Schumer, and Speaker Nancy Pelosi all signed off in some form or another direct mail fundraising plans that will feature Limbaugh for their national party.”‘Don’t let Limbaugh smear true patriotism,’ that’s the theme,” says a DNC staffer. “We’re not going to let Limbaugh determine what soldiers can talk and what soldiers can not.”

Bad grammar and ill-informed opinions aside, the DNC hopes to raise millions of dollars of Limbaugh. “If we can’t silence him, we should at least make some money to make his life more miserable in a Democratic-controlled Washington in 2008,” says a Senate Democrat leadership aide.

Others on the Democrat side are pushing ahead with other plans. Rep. Henry Waxman has asked his investigative staff to begin compiling reports on Limbaugh, and fellow radio hosts Sean Hannity and Mark Levin based on transcripts from their shows, and to call in Federal Communications Commission chairman Kevin Martin to discuss the so-called “Fairness Doctrine.”

“Limbaugh isn’t the only one who needs to be made uncomfortable about what he says on the radio,” says a House leadership source. “We don’t have as big a megaphone as these guys, but this all political, and we’ll do what we can to gain the advantage. If we can take them off their game for a while, it will help our folks out there on the campaign trail.”

He gave millions to Americans Coming Together, a group focused on committing election fraud.

He’s also thrown millions of dollars behind Moveon.org, a group focused on perpetuating lies about President Bush in the 2004 election and more recently publishing a full page ad in the New York Times calling a United States Military General a liar.

So what did Soros do when all the money he spent to undermine the elections went to waste? He started a new back channel of contributions designed at undermining the current U.S. administration.

And it’s hardly been the model of openness he and his organization claim to achieve.

The recent assault, torture and arrest of University of Florida student Andrew Myer by campus cops is but the latest example of what has become an increasingly frequent phenomenon in the United States of America.When ass-kissing chickenshit David Petraeus lied his ass off before Congress about the failed “surge”, capitol hill police tackled and arrested a pentecostal minister, damaging his ankle in the process. His “crime”? Trying to get in to watch and listen to the hearings.

As reported in the Nation magazine, sixty-year old Carol Trainer — a Vietnam veteran — was arrested and hauled away as the mayor of Louisville, Kentucky sat and glared at her.

Last November, a student at UCLA was assaulted, tasered and arrested by campus cops, for failing to show his identification. A blogger who wrote about this abuse of power also pointed out how, in Houston, Texas that same month, a bunch of striking union workers were trampled by police on horseback, arrested, and subjected to what amounts to torture.

If you think America isn’t undergoing the same slide into fascist dictatorship today as Germany did in the 1930s, you’re kidding yourself. Each of the six examples of police brutality I cited, all of them against nonviolent students and protesters, has taken place within a roughly ten-month period. But where is the outrage in the mainstream media? Why aren’t the steps of the Capitol Building and the gates of the White House being flooded with protesters demanding accountability for abuses of executive power that has so permeated society that it infects our local police departments?

And therein lies one reason why this is happening. Although there has been some dissent, some outrage, it has been largely confined to the blogosphere and political discussion forums. People dare not stand up publicly against these police state tactics to silence dissent. They dare not risk being beaten down. Another reason, pointed out by the Rude Pundit, is that there are those in American society who not only actually approve of this shit, but go so far as to cheer it on! “Yeah!” they think. “Show them what they get for stepping out of line!”

Those two reasons, more than the brutal assaults on people and the First Amendment, are why America is devolving into a bad replay of Nazi Germany. The lack of national outrage, to the point we do something about it; and the support of it by mindless groupthinkers in society who are so stupid they think it’s a good thing that we’re being subjected to tyranny.

I’m a 43 year old black man and it would be disingenuous of me to write entries talking about the evils that existed back in the true Jim Crow era, whites only signs, segregated hotels, restaurants, drinking fountains or to try and process the pending threat that was Hitler and communism.
How the fuck could some young mentally challenged individual even begin to process the notion that America is slipping into this fascist state, when I just finished watching some pinhead moronic dictator speak at one of this nations most prestigious universities not to mention that the event was simulcast on FOX NEWS!

The University of Florida student was a prankster and a typical college aged jackass, brash, arrogant spoiled pricks. I see all too often these self-absorbed frat boy sorostitutes types wandering the university grounds, cell phones stuck to the ear paying little or no attention to the world around them or that car about the strike them.
This generation of emotionally challenged individuals find it difficult to respect those outside of their entourage.
As much as I detest John Kerry, he and that audience deserved respect, but college aged pranksters have hindered free speech by acting like a bunch of ignorant fucks which is precisely why few right leaning types venture to college campuses anymore.
Foolish and moronic behavior is the norm.

Here in Lawrence we have an institution where national and world leaders not to mention prominent political figures and Pulitzer Prize winning columnists regularly speak and the only time you see students attending is when they are offered “extra credit” or some incentive for attending.
When the speaker does not fit the typical liberal ideology the talk is ether ignored or some phony protest with the stereotypical passing out of “fact” sheets with erroneous information.
Liberals are not interested in acquiring knowledge only promoting their twisted spin on the world and crying when the would does not fit in their little bow wrapped gift box.

I’ll give you one example: Recently while speaking to a student, very nice young lady, smart, motivated in the process of getting her masters, we were discussing Iraq and setting aside the particulars the point I want to focus on was she said she “hated George Bush for getting us into this war.”
Now I never want to get into a debate on the semantics of whether or not we should or should not be in Iraq with folks, what I always focus on when speaking to a young person is “when does your history on Iraq begin?”
You see to me if you want to tell me we should not have been in Iraq, and only want to focus on the history while G Dub has been in office and totally ignore anything prior to G Dub taking office, there is nothing to discuss.
This young lady is 24 and knows nothing about what was said prior to Bush’s presidency.
There are tons of clips on You Tube feature Mrs. Bill’s ever changing stance on Iraq and virtually every Democrat morphing views on the issue.
All I asked of her was to truly study the issue. While listening to her all she could do was regurgitate Democrat clichés, she was ridiculously clueless on the issue other that what she read in the New York Times (she said it) or what was discussed in her political science class.

The point is do liberal choose to be ignorant of all the facts. Many choose not to acknowledge what was said before or simply choose to only put political blame on a policy that no one individual can carry out.

Liberals selective ranting is all political. Think about it. If you believe in gay marriage and you somehow think that by berating the current president on an issue that you really don’t give a shit about, can get you closer to electing an individual with your political values, then why not join the “Iraq is wrong, impeach Bush” bullshit.

Who is he afraid of - the resident and token Republican on the show Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Can you believe it? Elisabeth was once the meek voice overpowered by blowhards like Rosie O’Donnell until she finally stood up to her towards the end of last season.

After an explosive on screen fiery debate, Rosie ran way never to return to the program. Now it appears that Barry is as big of a coward. In a predictable and an exclusive statement to TMZ, Barry says, “I strongly disagree with her views. I think she’s dangerous and offensive. I will not be on the same stage as her.”

Manilow is currently on a press tour promoting the release of his new album, “Greatest Songs of the Seventies.” One must wonder if Barry will sack it up and return any money from people that think like Elisabeth and still buy his album.

A COLORADO judge has sentenced people busted for noise pollution to one hour of listening to unpopular or unusual music.Mostly young adult offenders were kept in a room and made to listen to Dolly Parton’s I Will Always Love You, Karen Carpenter and Barry Manilow with the volume up loud, CBS4Denver.com reported.

Most offenders, who were not allowed to eat, drink, read or sleep, found the punishment funny at first. But then the boredom set in.

“At about 20 minutes into it, I was trying not to fall a sleep,” offender Luis Cano said.

Judge Paul Sacco, who carries out the punishment about four times per year, said the sentenced fit the crime.

“When you have a person playing rap at extreme volumes all over the city, and they have to sit down and listen for an hour to Barry Manilow, its horrible punishment,” he said.

It’s really sad to see children try to pretend they can keep up with adults in the arena of ideas. Take the ever talkative Larkin from Wizbang Blue who tries to put in his two cents about the “General Betray Us” ad. It seems in Larkin’s world view, the General brought it on himself.

Such attacks were predictable given the General’s apparent acquiescence in becoming the chief spokesman for the White House in what should be an entirely political debate (i.e., no generals invited) centered on the the question of the continued involvement of US forces in Iraq.

After all, in America, it’s rule by the people, not the generals. And the people’s representatives, the 435 members of the House, the 100 members of the Senate, and the President should be the ones to decide how many troops we will keep in Iraq and for how long. The input of the generals is of course informative and essential, but it should be funneled through the proper channels, namely the civilian leader of America’s impressive war-making machine, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.

Gates should have been the one to deliver testimony on the state of our mission in Iraq on Capitol Hill last week, not Petraeus.

Lamb, the deputy Public Affairs Officer for Multi National Division-Baghdad:

An investigation has been completed and the allegations made by PVT Beauchamp were found to be false. His platoon and company were interviewed and no one could substantiate the claims.

According to the military source, Beauchamp’s recantation was volunteered on the first day of the Military’s investigation. So as Beauchamp was in Iraq signing an affidavit denying the truth of his stories, the New Republic was publishing a statement from him on its website on July 26, in which Beauchamp said, “I’m willing to stand by the entirety of my articles for the New Republic using my real name.”

Anti-war people and those on the Left are always willing to believe the worst of our troops, not I. If people had any sense this would be the end of the New Republic, because we need to get back to the OLD Republic that our founding fathers gave us before it is too late. Jeanine Pirro, Republican politician, lawyer and prosecutor from New York, appearing on “Hannity & Colmes” Friday said, “These are innocents. … These dogs are bred in silence and raised to tear one another apart. … These dogs cannot lie; the facts speak for themselves.” I submit that children are bred to be loved and nurtured, not sucked out of wombs or burned to death in them, and those facts do not lie either.

Where is the outrage, as over 40,000 black children a month are ripped apart in what should be their most sacred sanctuary? It has been said that Vick’s image will be alongside “vicious, vile images” of dog fighting. Where is the outrage over the image of Margaret Sanger, the patron saint of genocide who, out of contempt for the poor, the black poor specifically, advocated the murder of innocent black children under the guise of a woman’s right to choose?

How many black families will have their lives affected positively or negatively by the alleged barbarous indulgences of Vick? Juxtapose that question by asking how many black scientists, doctors, teachers, lawyers, politicians, diplomats, world leaders, business persons, inventors, ad nauseum have been murdered?

Pirro made a name for herself prosecuting domestic abuse and violence-against-women cases. Is not inserting the equivalent of vacuum hoses into women and ripping apart their unborn children violence against same?

The priorities of America are wrong. The nation and animal-rights groups are beside themselves because a few dogs have been mistreated and destroyed, yet these same people and activist groups support and advocate the slaughter of unborn children. And even worse, if possible, they advocate the breeding of innocent human life for scientific experiments, vis-à-vis embryonic stem cell research.

Liberal blacks and whites loudly applaud those who are quick to blame conservatives and pursue race-based agitprop. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have been invigorated by the allegations against Vick, all the way to their cash registers. Media outlets are beating paths to their doors for comments and appearances. But nowhere is it mentioned that from July 1998 through December 2000, PETA killed over 14,400 dogs, cats and “companion animals.” They stored the dead animals in a walk-in freezer, while contracting with a Virginia Beach company to cremate them. In 2005 alone, they murdered 90.7 percent of the animals they received, while adopting out a paltry 6.8 percent.

Yet these and others are the ones now castigating Vick. Perhaps we should run commercials showing pictures of the fragmented baby parts, tossed in closets, that Obama supported as an Illinois legislator beside one of the dead dogs allegedly belonging to Vick. Maybe we should show the faces of women who have had their internal organs irreparably injured by abortionists alongside said dogs. Or perhaps we should show the children who were aborted alive and living today alongside one of Vick’s dogs – children, I might add, that Obama not only refused to support, but fought against by opposing legislation to protect same while an Illinois legislator.

If ever there were a reason and a time for blacks to rally, that time is now. Instead, their cacophony of silence is deafening. I say, to hell with the dogs until people count.

The Erebusic evil of child genocide, black child genocide specifically, must be stopped. And for those Magdalenian liberals who are as unfamiliar with the name Erebus as they are Greek Mythology, Gene Wolf or Anne Rice – abortion is indeed the very personification of the darkness and hell that shadows our society.

Body Count For Animal “Rights” Group Reaches 14,479; Group Has Walk-In Freezer For Dead Puppies

WASHINGTON — While People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) protests the National Football League today over Michael Vick’s dog-fighting indictment, the animal “rights” group is ignoring its own sordid puppy-killing operation, the Center for Consumer Freedom said today. Public records released by the State of Virginia show that PETA itself has killed 14,479 dogs and cats since 1998, including 90 percent of the animals it took in for “adoption” in 2005. And PETA is presently more than 3 months overdue to report its 2007 numbers.
“It’s astonishing but true,” said Center for Consumer Freedom Director of Research David Martosko. “PETA itself kills helpless, adoptable animals by the thousands out of sheer inconvenience. Why anyone continues to take this bunch of hypocrites seriously is beyond me.”

Documents relating to PETA’s massive animal-killing program can be found on the Internet at www.PETAkillsAnimals.com. In sworn testimony during the January 2007 animal-cruelty trial of two PETA employees, a PETA manager acknowledged that the organization has a walk-in freezer for the purpose of storing dead pets. She also acknowledged that PETA contracts with a Norfolk-area crematory service to dispose of the dead bodies, which measure over a ton each month.

Martosko continued: “PETA’s president acknowledges that her group could ‘become a no-kill shelter overnight.’ But that would mean the group could no longer afford to spend millions of dollars on cheap publicity stunts, to say nothing of harassing pet food companies, restaurants, and medical researchers.”

Another PETA employee faces grand larceny charges in southern Virginia, related to the alleged 2006 theft of a hunting dog and its radio-tracking collar. PETA has not yet indicated whether the dog in question was slated to be put to death.

With no apparent sense of irony, they chose the dumpster of a Piggly Wiggly supermarket to drop off the carcasses, wrapped in black plastic bags. Among them were a mother cat with her two very healthy kittens, and seven little puppies – dead by injection.

For at least two months they had been slaughtering and dumping animals that they obtained under false pretenses from shelters: they assured the attendants they would find the adoptable animals ‘good homes.’

Andrew Benjamin Cook and Adria Joy Hinkle are charged in a North Carolina court with only 31 felony counts of animal cruelty, eight misdemeanor counts of the illegal disposal of dead animals, and a charge of criminal trespassing. Yet they are apparently responsible for the death of more than a hundred animals. This is ethical?

We must not allow ourselves to be so distracted by the sordid details of this case that we view it as an aberration. Instead, it is all too emblematic of the core “values” of the PETA cash and terror machine.

(Link) Radical groups such as PETA have taken this “Fishing Hurts” campaign to ugly extremes. Anti-fishing activists in America and Europe have intimidated researchers, dispatched topless demonstrators dressed as menacing mermaids to upset children’s fishing programs, and thrown rocks at and sent scuba divers to scare fish away from angling waters. They’ve even tried to bully the Boy Scouts of America into dropping their traditional fishing merit badge.

“We seek to shift the ways animals are viewed, from being a resource to be exploited to that of the community of individuals that they are,” PETA’s Dawn Carr sanctimoniously explained a few years ago.

The ACLU is challenging an elective Bible history class, which was approved by the Ector County School Board in December 2005, that it is “promoting religion.” Quick question: do science classes “promote science?” Just wondering. Another question: Are electives optional?

The course [called “The Bible in History and Literature“] is now taught in two high schools in Odessa, Texas — Permian High School and Odessa High School. Rather than teaching about the Bible objectively in a historical or literary context, the course promotes religion, as well as a particular religious viewpoint, that is not shared by Jews, Catholics, Orthodox Christians and many Protestants. The course uses the King James Version as its main textbook, which is not the Bible of choice for a wide range of Christian denominations, nor for members of the Jewish faith.

The U.S. House is expected to pass a landmark federal law that would expand hate crimes legislation to include attacks against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender citizens.
Opponents argue that it’s conceivable under the bill that if a rabbi, priest or pastor reads to his congregation a passage from the Bible condemning homosexuality, he could be considered an accomplice to any parishioner who later commits a “hate crime” against a homosexual.

Okay, maybe I wasn’t polished. I hadn’t even seen the CSPAN video. I don’t even remember what I said.

HOWEVER, the reason for that is simple: I was angry. I was angry as I looked at SIX middle-aged white, rich Americans tell ME how they were changing politics and the media in America. I was overcome by my anger and probably not very articulate.

I had NO FUCKING CLUE that CSPAN was going to be at this event. NO CLUE.

Although this extra little diatribe is not worth responding to let me at least point this out.
Everybody in this area who knew about this event KNEW C-SPAN was covering it.
It was reported in the local and campus papers, on several web sites, on a couple of radio shows ect.
So not only do you have an ignorant and delusional individual you have a liar on top of that.  

I had NO FUCKING CLUE that I was going to over-come my shy-ness and actually get up and say something to these people. It was only AFTER listening to them talk for 60 minutes about how different they are from mainstream media that I felt I HAD to say something.

I KNOW that there are minority blogs out there. I never said differently. But minority blogs are NOT nearly as popular as white,mainstream blogs are….TIMEOUT! WHILE I LAUGH, HE,  HE, HE, HE

 Nor are minority blogs half as prevalent as richwhitemen blogs are.

Mainstream political bloggers freaking suck. What a bunch of egomaniacs. They are worse than politicians.

Wednesday night, Feb. 13, I traveled to the Dole Center and watched in horror as four rich (though several insisted to me that they are NOT wealthy; however, by world standards they ARE ALL disgustingly wealthy), middle-aged, white men and one, rich, middle-aged, white woman talked about political blogging and how blogging is changing America and how awesome bloggers really are!

Those individuals represented two Democratic Party perspectives (Jerome Armstrong of www.mydd.com and Joan McCarter, mcjoan, of www.dailykos.com) and three Republican Party perspectives (Patrick Hynes of www.anklebitingpundits.com, Scott W. Johnson of http://www.powerlineblog.com/, and  Erick-Woods Erickson of www.redstate.com).  ALL FIVE OF THEM SUCK HARDCORE.  AND the moderator of the event was yet ANOTHER RICH, MIDDLE-AGED, WHITE MAN.

All six of these individuals (FIVE RICHWHITEMEN annd ONE RICHWHITEWOMAN) are EXTREMELY well-educated and have led EXTREMELY privileged lives.

Bloggers suck. When I criticized their lack of diversity and lack of representation of the mainstream voting populace, one of the uber-crazy-conservative-republican bloggers said, “I can’t help the way I was born.” You’re RIGHT, you can’t help the way you were born BUT you CAN help those who weren’t born with the supreme privilege that you were by doing something besides typing stupid ass shit on your stupid ass bloggity blog.

The bloggers talked endlessly about how blogging is SO VERY VERY different from the mainstream media. They talked endlessly about how blogging is CHANGING politics in America.

Um, rich white people control the mainstream media. They also control the blogosphere. Rich, white men have ALWAYS controlled politics. What’s changing?  Any illusion that the average American is getting a voice through the blogosphere is a complete and total invention in their mind.

How many single mothers do you know that have the time or ability to blog about political events? How many mainstream working-class Americans do you know that have the time or ability to blog about political events?

Not only do many people not even have internet access at their homes, but many people do not have the TIME to sit around and type about stupid shit like what they think about the latest Bush speech. They’re too busy actually working and caring for their families to type shit on their freaking blog. UGH.

But only 11% of voters read blogs. And those 11% are probably already so politically involved that what they read is just fuel for their fire.

So I’m gonna be on CSPAN. I’ll be the belligerent girl yelling at the ignorant, self-important, narcissistic, worse-than-politicians bloggers.

I found a photo that you took before the event that was posted on Flickr (sp?), if CSpan was not at the event you would not have even come to the event thus your retarded rant would not have even taken place. It was all staged as was this post so you can get some ink and get some attention.

So my anger was immediately replaced with pity.

In honor of his birthday today, we have put together a powerful Flash movie of Dr. King speaking out against war. His cautionary words are just as resonant now. We need to listen to him again with fresh ears, to keep his work for peace alive.

In 1966, King said “I’m still convinced there’s nothing more powerful to dramatize a social evil than the tramp tramp of marching people.”

In this last week alone, we have harnessed the power of marching people. We protested Guantanamo, both in the streets around the world, and outside the detention center itself. We disrupted Condoleeza Rice’s testimony. We took to the streets to stop Bush’s plan for escalation, to stop funding war and bring the troops home. Thanks to all of you who added your footsteps to the powerful tramp tramp of marching people across the globe.

On January 27, we will be taking our tramping feet to Washington DC to bring the Mandate for Peace to Congress and the Bush administration. Won’t you join us? The more people on the street, the more loudly our message will be heard.

Forty years ago at Riverside Church, people of conscience declared that “a time comes when silence is betrayal.”

“We are at the moment when our lives must be placed on the line if our nation is to survive its own folly. Every man of humane convictions must decide on the protest that best suits his convictions, but we must all protest,” King preached that day.

Let’s make our protest on January 27 powerful enough to stop the war. We can think of no better way to honor Martin Luther King, Jr.’s memory.
