September 11th Is A Date Which Will Live In Infamy

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007

From the blog Jeremayakovka

Partisan liberals are gearing up for their “stop Rudy” campaign. I can feel it.

Here are some choppily edited video clips, found at Dana Goldstein’s blog (who found it at Talking Points Memo), of Rudy Giuliani’s frequent invocations of September 11th during interviews, debates, and campaign appearances. Dana calls this a tick (as in, a nervous tick), whereas I would say it’s a tack — a strategy to remind Americans of his own leadership, certainly, and by extension of the leadership of many other Americans on that awful and awe-inspiring day.

People who take issue with a leading presidential candidate, one who oversaw the most intense locus of that day’s crisis — oversaw it more directly than either the president or vice president — should have to answer the following:

“September 11th is a date which will live in infamy.”
Do you agree , or disagree, with that statement? (Yes or No.)

What did I do on my Patriot’s day

 911.jpg

What I did on my Patriot’s day:

The first part of my day I stewed about the Democrats role in 9/11. Just kidding,
I became pissed that Bill Clinton allowed Osama Bin Ladin to blow up the World Trade Center thereby depriving me of a second chance to take beautiful pictures of Mrs. Snoop with the backdrop of the World Trade Center towers. (That’s right, is is all about me.)

A photographer by trade, somewhat, I took advantage of the incredible surroundings and two architectural treasures to take some cool pictures of Mrs. Snoop with towers one and two behind her.

I took pictures from virtually every angle. I love my Mrs. Snoop but I wanted to make sure the Towers were prominently displayed in each shot.

Before the trip I purchased a couple of these disposable cameras so I was not nearly as guarded when we boarded trains headed to Saratoga Springs for an attorney’s conference Mrs. Snoop was attending.

As we departed the trains, I was surprised by the tranquil surroundings and small town feel. I felt immediately comfortable.

When we arrive at our hotel room I realize that I don’t have the cameras, I search frantically but to no avail. I realize that more than 100 pictures on Mrs. Snoop (well not quite all of them) were on the train in a bag, with various snacks. FUCK!

So what did I do the morning the WTC towers fell, reminisce of a wonderful trip to the NYC with Mrs. Snoop.

Selfish, huh, as thousands of people perish at the hand of some piece of shit Muslim fucks on a Looney-Tunes quest to roll around with a bunch or virgins, I was fixated on a bunch of photographs.

All I can think of was happier times with a backdrop of America that I took for granted.
What the fuck, I thought, Mrs. Snoop and I will be back in the NYC, next time I’ll come back with a cool digital camera and post the pictures on my blog…blog? What the fuck is a blog?!

On a day where countless number of us go about our day (taking it for granted) I simply had a reminder that we can’t take the simplest things for granted. After watching the footage of the towers fall the enormity of what happened stunned me all over again.

Shit, I remember how massive those building were and even I thought to myself, “damn we is good” referring to the feeling you get when you process how awesome this country is. Yes there are buildings taller, more modern, more awe-inspiring but virtually no building represented the strength of this nation as WTC Towers 1 and 2.

Fucken Muslins knock us off that pedestal, huh?
But in the midst of all the disgust and outrage, the most sickening feeling I got was watching those idiot fuck Democrats disparage a 30-year veteran general and spew out the same tired bullshit rhetoric.

Democrats are famous for trying to destroy a nation that allows me to enjoy my Mojito in a small drinking establishment with the famous hammer and sickle communist symbol as its logo.

America, Fuck yeah!

Morning reads here on 9/11

Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

I watched morning of footage again, did some reflection, got pissed again, turned to a report on Fox and watched that idiot bastard Joe Biden and that son-of-a-bitch Wexler of Florida disparage a great American like General Petraeus.

Let me just say this day and what I watched yesterday during the Iraq presentation just reminds me why I absolutely detest liberal Democrats and why it is critical that we keep Democrats out of power and out of the White House.

An American antiwar activist butchered a Dutch student with an axe because he was upset that the Netherlands had sent troops to fight in Iraq.

The antiwar activist spent the night in a forest outside a barracks in the Netherlands. Because he was unable to attack the barracks, he went to the train station and killed a 22 year-old student with an axe instead!
Russian RIA Novosti reported on the peace activist driven to kill
