Pregnant Prostitutes To Face Charges
Sphere: Related Content(Link) Two women were charged with prostitution in Camden County on Thursday after they were arrested in a sting operation at a Lake Ozark hotel last week.Two other women were also arrested, and three of the women are pregnant. Alexandra Wells and Allysia Waldrop were both charged on Thursday. Waldrop is pregnant, but is not known if Wells is also.

The undercover bust went down at a Lake Ozark area hotel after the sheriff’s department received several reports that pregnant women were advertising prostitution on an internet advertising site.
One of the women arrested was eight months pregnant, another six months pregnant, and another was three months pregnant. They ranged in age from 18 to 22 years old.

This story was on the news awhile back, when we were on vacation actually. Apparently, there is a fetish where men pay a lot of $$ to have sex with pregnant women. Who knew?
My big problem with this story is that the MEN are not being charged with anything. There would be no prostitution without a “john” (male or female customer). But they never get charged (or rarely). It’s the service provider who gets in trouble. Since 99.9% of prostitutes are women, I believe that the enforcement of prostitution laws are extremely gender biased!
Personally, I wouldn’t mind the old Roman system - wherein the ritual prostitutes were revered members of society, and even young princesses had to take their turn at temple (especially before they got married!). Of course, that opinion probably makes me a lascivious trollop.
