Rasmussen: Plurality of TARD Democrats support … nationalizing America’s oil industry

I was going to lead with something about McCain wanting to lift the moratorium on offshore drilling — duly qualified, of course, with conservationist panders about leaving the final decision up to the states, keeping ANWR off-limits, etc etc — but this is bigger news, isn’t it?
Suddenly that infamous Maxine Waters clip seems less funny than ominous. Great Society II fever — catch it:
A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 29% of voters favor nationalizing the oil industry. Just 47% are opposed and 24% are not sure.
The survey found that a plurality of Democrats (37%) believe the oil industry should be nationalized. Just 32% of voters in Barack Obama’s party disagree with that approach. Republicans oppose nationalizing the oil industry by a 66% to 16% margin. Unaffiliated voters are opposed by a 47% to 33% margin…
Data released yesterday showed that Americans believe developing new energy sources is the best long-term solution to the nation’s energy problem. Forty-seven percent (47%) said private companies were more likely to solve the nation’s energy problem than government research programs. But, at the same time, only 52% said companies should be allowed to keep the profits from the discovery of any alternative fuel sources.

Seriously, I’m beginning to think that this country is made up of a majority of retards. Here’s an idea, let’s take an industry that this country depends on, that requires highly trained individuals who can deal with a wide variety of operating circumstances and enormous capital investments with high risk on return and turn it into a gov’t bureaucracy. Need gas today, sorry yesterday was a federal holiday. The sulfur unit isn’t working, sorry I’ve worked my 8 hours for the day, just shut the plant down. I was thinking about going into petrochemical engineering, but the pay grades are shit and the work is dangerous.
I’m beginning to think that these people need to be given EXACTLY what they want. When the talent in this country leaves because they’re tired of supporting the idiots that don’t know how to do a damn thing productive, then they can support themselves by talking about their feelings. At least it would make the global warming folks happy - our carbon footprint would drop to zero…

Wait, the Federal Gubment killed black folks because of inefficiency during Katrina, Democrats then want the gubment to be in charge of energy needs.
I don’t know where it came from by I have never been able to understand peoples angst about the oil companies. Are people that fucken retarded that they don’t understand that common folks make investments in the oil companies and that they are not in the business simply to fuck people over, it isn’t necessary there are more than enough cars to go around.
But idiot liberals want to hold the US to drilling restrictions that other countries don’t abide by. Hell I did not know that fucken China is drilling off the coast of Cuba!
I said before I have a co-worker who says all the time that she HOPES that gas process keep rising to force us to “change our ways” she along with a few young Obama supporters are dead set against offshore drilling.
