I remain a Tigers and Red Wings fan (Lions, too, it must be said, even though their last NFL title came when Ike was President. AARRRGGHHH!!!! I don't give a rat's ass about basketball, any basketball, so can't really call myself a Pistons fan). Twenty years of Coleman Young accelerated the steep decline that began in the mid-1960s. At least Young's successor Dennis Archer seemed to follow the Hippocratic principle and "did no harm", at least none that I could see from my now-distant vantage point. But Archer's successor, aka the Hip-Hop Mayor, has been a disaster, though, with no redeeming qualities that I can see. I'll bet if word leaks out of his previous drag performance, he'll be very popular in prison.
