Detroit Mayor Denies Cross-Dressing Performance
As if New Mogadishu Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick didn’t have enough scandals with his perjury charges, attempts to bribe whistleblowing cops, and the dead stripper Tamara Greene, he’s now created a new one by vociferously denying that he dressed as a girl in a school play in 1984.
Kilpatrick is the one in the red dress with the plunging neckline, fourth from the left:

Maybe we should switch from calling him “Kwame” to calling him “Wong Foo”.
I imagine his street-cred is about to evaporate…

It always pains me greatly to see what’s happened to the city of my birth, even though I haven’t actually lived there for over 40 years now. I remain a Tigers and Red Wings fan (Lions, too, it must be said, even though their last NFL title came when Ike was President. AARRRGGHHH!!!! I don’t give a rat’s ass about basketball, any basketball, so can’t really call myself a Pistons fan). Twenty years of Coleman Young accelerated the steep decline that began in the mid-1960s. At least Young’s successor Dennis Archer seemed to follow the Hippocratic principle and “did no harm”, at least none that I could see from my now-distant vantage point. But Archer’s successor, aka the Hip-Hop Mayor, has been a disaster, though, with no redeeming qualities that I can see. I’ll bet if word leaks out of his previous drag performance, he’ll be very popular in prison.
