Uh Oh, some Negros are pissed at the Pope!
His beneficence he ain’t. Pope Benedict XVI, a former Hitler Youth whose persona fits better with his given name, Joseph Ratzinger, transports his malevolent, rightwing presence to the United States next which, where he will doubtless do mischief with his political allies in the Bush regime.
[What happens when you don’t know your history or the history of others? You make a fool of yourself! This is what happened on April 19th when Bernice King, daughter of slain civil rights leader Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., did when she met with Pope Benedict XVI, a former Hitler Youth whose given name is Joseph Ratzinger.
Only a few days earlier the Pope lamented about the U.S. ‘injustices’ to Blacks, Indians. What hypocrisy! Judge John T. Noonan stated that it was not until 1890 that the Church condemned the institution of slavery, lagging behind laws enacted to outlaw the practice. Author John F. Maxwell wrote in his 1975 work on slavery that the Church did not correct its teaching on the moral legitimacy of slavery until 1965, with the publication, from the Second Vatican Council, of Gaudium et Spes (The Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the Modern World).
What ever the case, the Popes lamenting about the Satanic treatment of the Blacks and Indians by the U.S. and Catholic Church does nothing to correct 4oo years of injustice. Not to mention the atrocities committed by both upon the darker peoples of the world. Pope Benedict Go Home! and Bernice King stop disgracing the legacy of your father.

Look I’m not Catholic, although Mrs. Snoop is. I have my issues with the Catholic faith but I am no more critical of them as I am with a lot of exceedingly fucked up “fake ass” folks of various religious faiths.
On this topic I’m posting for your FYI because particularly in this case I love how some Negros are so selective about what part of history you should highlight and what part should go on the back burner.
The first paragraph tells it all, this bitching about “malevolent, rightwing presence” is simple Negro spin for “vote liberal, vote Democrat” and disguising it as some informative diatribe against the Pope taking advantage of the all of the coverage. Knowing damm well Negros are not paying any attention to the Pope.
In this case and in so many others I love how even with the intellectually astute Negros black history is a selective process that generally goes something like this: Blacks came to this country on slave ships (enslaved by whitey, Africans had nothing to do with it); from there they went to plantations and slavery; from the plantations to the ghetto; and, finally, to welfare.
Stories like this one on black websites and in Negro studies classrooms must have the same damm drumbeat teaching a history of Negro degradation and disadvantage and at the heart of all of this misery someone must be a target.
So this week in Negrodom the Pope is the chosen target.
To understand this writer’s message all you would need to read is this:
“Unlike Jeremiah Wright, who spoke truthful words, Benedict will be lionized for telling lies.”Delusional Negrodom at it’s finest. This is why Negros listen to people like Rev Wright and are endlessly pissed off all the time.

As a ANGLO-SAXON American and a non-practicing Catholic, I’m beyond tired of the cherry picking of facts when it comes to slavery. The problem the jermiah assholes and the rest of the race baiting crowd can’t deal with is that the majority of ANGLO-SAXON Americans weren’t slave owners. Here’s some stats on this:
In 1860 only a small minority of whites owned slaves. U.S. census report for that last year before the Civil War, there were nearly 27 million whites in the country. Some eight million of them lived in the slaveholding states.
The census also determined that there were fewer than 385,000 individuals who owned slaves (1). Even if all slaveholders had been white, that would amount to only 1.4 percent of whites in the country (or 4.8 percent of southern whites owning one or more slaves).

So now there are millions upon millions of ANGLO-SAXON Americans who’s families immigrated AFTER the civil war who continue to be blamed for something neither they nor their immigrant ancestors were responsible for. The segregation and racist policies which followed were also passed and enforced by a select few (southern democrats). So all I can say to the race baiting, lets keep the shit going cause we make money off it, is fuck you. Stop taking my money for failed welfare programs which do more damage, stop acting as if you have no responsibility for your actions, and stop trying to shove your excuses for foul behavior and lifestyle choices down my throat. FUCK. YOU. I. DON’T. CARE.

…and not involve any lessening of hostility on the part of the author?
(could it be the years of Jackson/Sharpton shakedown payments failing to make anyone less-evil?)

Nothing to stop it? They need to visit New Orleans and go on that tour we went on, huh Boo? They might learn about the Catholic nuns who risked their lives to get slaves out of there and to Canada.
The problem with blaming others for something is that (as my mother used to say) “Any time you point your finger at someone, there are 4 more fingers pointing back at you.”
Grow up. Take responsibility for your own life. Quit your bitching. If you do not like how your life is turning out, DO SOMETHING TO CHANGE IT - WHICH MEANS YOU MUST CHANGE YOURSELF!!!
As for the always popular “bash the Catholic church” sport, I defy anyone to find an organization made up of human beings to locate one free of all human created problems. Especially one that is 2000 years old! No person, faith, or organization is free from “Sin” or fault. So I heed well the advice “Let those who are without sin cast the first stone.” Must be nice to be so perfect that you can poke holes in everyone else….
