VIEW THE OBAMA COLLECTION

Senator Barack Obama threw African-Americans under the bus once again…

Man there is just tons of Obama reading out there, I’m not posting all of this Obama stuff cause I want to pile on the dude, but there is a lot of interesting reading out there, I know I can’t put freaking everything on this blog. I may have to create some sort of Obama link thing on my sidebar.

This is a piece I found on the blog Booker Rising, moderate black dude, via another blog Cultural Strategist , it’s been awhile since I have peeped his site.

Snoop has been shunned by some of the brothas and sistas in the blogworld as being too inflammatory.
Yeah, can you believe that shit, me, Snoop INFLAMATORY!?
I’m the friendliest brotha in the blogsphere! LOL!

“Obama does it again. In what seems to be a continuing pattern, Senator Barack Obama threw African-Americans under the bus once again. During [Tuesday] night’s MSNBC debate with Senator Hillary Clinton, when tackling moderator Tim Russert’s question about nutso Louis Farrakhan’s semi-endorsement of him and Farrakhan’s past statement that Judaism is a ‘gutter religion’, Sen. Obama pompously noted that he went to Dr. King’s Ebenezer Baptist Church during recent King Day observances and gave a speech in which he denounced anti-Semitism within the African-American community. While trying to demonstrate his record against anti-Semitic rhetoric, Obama asserted the audience at Ebenezer was largely African-American. Then I damn near fell out of my seat when Obama stated in the course of the debate that he plans to be the conduit to rebuild the ‘historic relationship’ between African-Americans and Jews.

superobama-mini.jpg Obama reflected that he would not be a candidate for president of the United States if it were not for ‘a whole host of Jewish-Americans that supported the civil rights movement.’ With this level of pandering, I am beginning to wonder if Senator Barack Obama has some kind of personality flaw. While I have absolutely nothing against Jewish people, why does Obama feel he needs to be the conduit healer of black-Jewish relations? Is it because they are largely bankrolling his campaign? And why has Sen. Obama only taken aim [at] African-Americans with regards to the so-called ‘frayed’ Black-Jewish relations? Has Obama gone to Jewish synagogues to admonish Jews, many who are anti-black and racist, to confront them about their anti-black rhetoric?

Although I agree with his repudiation of Farrakhan’s past statements, has Senator Obama ‘repudiated’ racist Jews like David Horowitz? If so, I want to know when it occurred. Furthermore, I don’t know one African-American conversing loquaciously about ‘frayed’ Black-Jewish relations. While strengthening relations between all Americans wouldn’t be a bad thing, is improving Black-Jewish relations a priority issue for Black Americans?

Perhaps Obama should have attended the State of The Black Union forum afterall [sic]. Senator Obama seems to have a personal agenda for Black America that Black America doesn’t seem to know. On the contrary, Tavis Smiley was attacked for expressing concerns about Senator Obama and others who chose not to attend the State of The Black Union forum held recently. For crying out loud, Obama has garnered 80-95% of the black vote in states that have held primaries and caucuses thus far. But then again, why should he have attended the State of The Black Union considering the large percentage of African-American votes he’s getting in each state.

For me, Obama’s persistent ambiguity and pandering with regards to racial issues especially at the expense of African-Americans is very disturbing, and it further disturbs me that the Black community has not made Senator Barack Obama accountable.”
