Quick: Which One Had An Affair? - Do you really give a shit?
By now, we’ve all heard that The New York Times has hinted that U.S. presidential candidate John McCain may have had an inappropriate romantic relationship with a female lobbyist eight years ago. McCain denied this morning that he cheated on his wife Cindy, appearing with her at a press conference to insist: “I am very disappointed in the New York Times piece. It’s not true.” He also explained that he had spoken with Times Executive Editor Bill Keller in an attempt to set the record straight and persuade the paper to spike the story. Keller appears to have made the decision to run it.This is where it gets interesting.
In a September 2006 New York magazine story, journalist Joe Hagan described the circumstances behind Keller’s marriage to his second wife, the French gin-namesake Emma Gilbey (who is also an ex-something of U.S. Senator John Kerry, but I digress…) and his divorce from National Public Radio reporter Ann Cooper.

Ah the above piece another example of the evil blogsphere at work, LOL! I posted basically because I have not found much today that interests me. I am slightly sleep deprived and a bit cranky. I read so much Obama material this weekend, shit I could run his campaign now.
I received the above story via my e-mail. Instead of getting actual comments on the site you would not believe how many e-mail blog post tips I receive now.
I pay more attention to tips from friends, on my sidebar, but I posted something about abortions a week or so ago and now I have been getting all kinds of abortion posts.
Since I have been trashing Hussein recently I am getting more evil Obama material.
Its cool tho, I do quite of bit of recycling with some rage thrown in.
I was watching a History Chanel series this weekend (I recorded the series) “The Presidents” lots of interesting stuff I did not know about some of our past leaders. However as I watched the development of the presidency it is still quite telling that not much has changed when it comes to scandal, backstabbing, sexual innuendo, extramarital affairs, media hit jobs ect.
The questions always come up scrutinizing the character of a man who would screw around on his wife. Is that man fit to be in public office?
Liberals still to this day when trying to diss folks on the right, say evil Republicans wanted to impeach Mr. Bill because of sexual impropriety. Anyone with any amount of common fucken sense know that virtually every elected official in Washington has a shit load of skeletons in his or her closet and that the vast majority of presidents fucked around on their wives.
Mr. Bill is a habitual liar, it is damm near impossible for him to complete a sentence without lying. Bill is the type of person who would lie, when the truth would serve him better.
Mr. Bill will not be the last president to play with cigars in the Oval Office.
Anywho, my focus, McCain; well do I really give a shit about the possibility of him screwing a lobbyist? Not at all, screwing around on his wife is far less egregious to me than his stance on illegal immigration, or his global warming beliefs or even his pledge not to raise taxes.
However keep in mind, if you are able to smile and look your wife and family in the eye and pledge your love, fidelity and devotion to them, then hop into bed with some skank to work off the Viagra, shit you think that lying to a voter or your political colleagues would be that hard to do?
I don’t trust McCain at all and it has nothing to do with him doing the nasty with lobbyist skanks.
As for the New York Time editor, I mean seriously, the Times is a rag, I rarely read it, dude went with the story on Maverick Mack to try and create revenue for his failing shitty newspaper.
As for comparing his affair to McCain’s well, I just can’t get a reading on my “give a shit” meter.
