Michelle Obama “clarifies” her statement. You call this clarifying!?

I’m checking out the liberal blogs and I can’t help laughing at the pure idiocy some of these people exhibit.

Here you had Michelle Obama clearly stating her disdain for this country, but the story in the minds of idiot liberals is we (evil right wingers) twisted her words, or we took them out of context, or misunderstood what she said.

I heard what she fucken said and I understood clearly.
Below are some random quotes from some libs on this issue, but look at the last comment, the perfect example of the type of liberal idiot fucks she was speaking to.

If you had checked out the liberal blogs when Michelle’s comments were making the rounds, nobody on the left disagreed with them, in fact, as the dude below did they applauded her comments.

Look Michelle Obama is off the charts smart, much smarter than her fraud husband; she knew exactly what she was saying and meant every damm word.

What I don’t get is why she felt the need to “clarify.” The only people she pissed off were the people who are not going to vote for her “empty suit” husband anyway.

Most of Obama’s fans are guilty white people who believe that by supporting this dude despite knowing nothing about him, they are eradicating the ills of racism in American society.
Michelle Obama in private I bet says, “damm look at all of these rednecks coming out to hear my Boo recycle some mindless garbage, but those little white girls better keep their hand off of my man!”

She is amazed, as am I that white folks are turning out in record numbers to show their utter disdain for Hillary and her cheating ass husband. Democrats are gleeful at the opportunity to burry the Clinton once and for all.

Bottom line, Michelle did not have to clarify jack, liberal Democrats seek to gain and remain in power by pandering to the most intellectually vacant and misery filled folks in our society.

As I said before, dissing America is part of the liberal politicians’ playbook. Michelle was simply articulating liberal Democratic philosophy.

Even in this “clarifying” speech, she bemoans the lack of opportunities for American children. I’m thinking is this bitch crazy, lack of fucken opportunities? Talk about someone who never studied black history.
Focusing on today’s black youth, we have gone from armed military escort into America’s schools to 70 percent dropout rate and debate over baggy pants.
Hey Michelle, is Obama going to make these fucken people get an education?
Opportunities my ass!

  • Michelle misspoke and she has clarified it. What does Michelle need to apologize for?
  • She just said something dumb and has now clarified it.
  • She said something dumb and has clarified it. EVERY politician says something DUMB during a campaign. They are just human. I remember that both Bush and Kerry said STUPID things during their campaigns. People jump all over it and they clarified it and people move on.
  • Its sad how the American media is so skilled at twisting peoples words out of context to make a story out of it. Isn’t the media supposed to be impartial?
  • She is a true patriot - great to see that she is addressing the controversy over remarks that were widely re-edited to remove context and make them look inflamatory.

THIS IS THE KIND OF MORONIC JACKASS MICHELLE WAS SPEAKING FOR…

  • there are a few really good reasons to be ashamed of our country right now: how about ….

    Suspension of Habeas Corpus?
    Preemptive Wars?
    Extraordinary Rendition?
    Torture?

    You swelling with pride yet?

Or maybe you’d like a happy trip down memory lane so you can remember all the reasons we have to be panting at the knees of idiotic jingoist everytime they bark…

Let’s see …we emulated the British by maintaining slaves, got uppity with the Brits because we didn’t want to pay exorbitant taxes for their stupid wars–but still kept our slaves.

That was our BIG revolution. Filled with moral clarity and light, ain’t it?

Oh, yeah, we expanded West, murdering and disenfrachising the Indians as we went- a few million, give or take a hundred thousand or so.

Oh, yeah, than there was that thing we did with Mexico when we like took Texas, and California.

Oh, yeah, and than that Philipine thing, where we slaughtered a bunch of lousy muslims and covered our bullets in pig’s fat, just to make them feel good about it.

Oh yeah, then there was the Robber Baron era in which we became an industrial power on the backs of many a wage enslaved immigrant.

What’s not to be proud of?

And man, I haven’t even gotten to the 20th century when we finally doned or emperor’s armor for real: Dresden, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Vietnam, Chile, Nicaragua,  El Salvador, Iraq….Geez. We can be proud of all of that, can’t we?

Point being, claiming you have to be proud of this history isn’t just fanciful, it’s a lie. I’m ashamed of much of our history, as you should be too, if you understand it at all.

I rather believe Michelle when she said the “first time she’s really been proud of this country”…and I rather admire her for it.

Screw Billy O’ Reilly and the jingoistic assholes on the right. They’ve been needing a history lesson since they day they were born. Rather than apologize, why the aren’t we schooling them in what US history really means?

I guess I’ll have to do the diary on the Jim Crowe laws and what they meant for millions of afro americans less than a century ago.

I expected assholes like O’Reilly to forget or never know this stuff, but what’s up with the folks around here? It’s not like the history of US oppression toward minorities–both here and abroad– is a deep secret, is it?

You can lead a conservative to facts–but you can’t make him think.

She’s a mixed bag - enormously privileged and not untalented but not, it seems, up to being a memorable First Lady. Her remarks ramble a bit, are poorly paced, and her applause lines aren’t that snappy.

I don’t doubt that she wants to win, that she wants Obama to win the presidency. And I want to be careful not to grudge the real concerns that come with (co-)running to be First Lady - and the first black one at that. But I sense a certain ambivalence. Maybe not about their will to win, but about their will to make the country great.

Mixed messages, first about not being proud of America, then about being proud of this place, betray some real fissures, I think.

She just doesn’t look happy up at that podium.

Man brilliant point and observation. Now that you said that reflecting on her demeanor and things she said at the start of the campaign I bet as far as she is concerned the White House is a step backwards, SHE doesn’t need it.
