Can I take “you people” to include the overwhelming majority of military contributors? A vote for Ron Paul isn’t a vote for Ron Paul. It’s a vote against a system where not a majority, but a near-totality of politicians are bought by corporations. Say what you like about him, even call him a hypocrite if you believe that about him. But one thing he is NOT, is BOUGHT. That’s at least 60% of the reason why I support this man.

Not bought? Then who pray tell is paying him the millions in campaign contributions? Just b/c it’s not the “usual suspects” (i.e. Big Bad Business) does not mean a person is free from strings. EVERY human being on earth owes something to someone - or is ignoring that fact.
In RP’s case, he’s been reported to have accepted $$ from a lot of anti-semtic, racist, bigotted or otherwise hateful people.
If the politicians who accept $$ from big business are therefore assumed to be “owned” by those corporations, then what does that say about who owns RP?? Hmmmm.
