Neo-Nazis have deep pockets, pimping for Ron Paul

ronpaul08.jpgFound this on Wonkette, made me laugh!

Despite all the trumpeting of (and spamming about, and commenting on) Ron Paul’s money-making tea party last weekend, it turns out that, somehow, Ron Paul needs all the money he can get. So while Obama and Edwards openly turn away contributions from lobbyists and everyone else seemingly finds a way to send back money from those they find personally distasteful, Ron Paul’s campaign has confirmed that they will keep the $500 donation from Don Black of the neo Nazi pig fucker website Stormfront. Because, as spokesman Jesse Benton said, that’s $500 more for Ron Paul and $500 less for neo Nazi pig fuckers that want to see Ron Paul elected. Um, Jesse? The standard thing to do, for both Republicans and Democrats caught with money with the stench of pig-fucking on it, is to donate it to a charity. Can we recommend some? The NAACP, or the Anti-Defamation League, or the Southern Poverty Law Center? I’d bet they’d do at least equally well spreading “the message of freedom” and making sure that the pig fucker had $500 less dollars. Not that you, you know, actually care. I just thought I’d make a suggestion. [Washington Post]

I have not said anything about Ron Paul in awhile, I figure why alienate my Ron Paul homies because hopefully they will come to their senses and get behind a real candidate Fred Thompson.

Despite raising a record number of dead presidents in one day, Ron Paul has a snowballs chance in hell of surviving past a couple of primaries.
This post points out what I said long ago, Paul obviously does not give a shit about PR.
Accepting money from Neo-Nazi fucks is perfectly ok with him.
I’m just wondering Ron Paul fans, particularly those of you who have given money to the campaign, does it not occur to you that for every dollar Ron Paul accepts from these racist fucks, three gets pissed away because of the negative publicity. Basically lost credibility costs you money in a campaign and you can’t get that back.
Paul’s campaign is still scoffed at by most observers, because these links to Neo-Nazis won’t go away. I won’t mention his woeful debate performances. YUK

Maybe he sees the handwriting on the wall, knows he is out of it so he is simply trying to stay somewhat relevant and is trying to hold on to the cheers and accolades of his supporters for as long as he can. So who cares where the dollars come from.
Because once he drops out of the race he will disappear into the political haze like so many other failed politicians.

At least he will be able to use some of the money to take some cool vacations, buy himself a nice red sports car or buy himself a shit load of lap dances.

BAD SNOOP! LOL! Oh get a sense of humor people!

Vanguard News Network, the leader of the American National Socialist Workers Party says Ron Paul Lies About Lack Of Involvement With White Nationalists.

Ron Paul Lies About Lack Of Involvement With White NationalistsComrades:

I have kept quiet about the Ron Paul campaign for a while, because I didn’t see any need to say anything that would cause any trouble. However, reading the latest release from his campaign spokesman, I am compelled to tell the truth about Ron Paul’s extensive involvement in white nationalism.

Both Congressman Paul and his aides regularly meet with members of the Stormfront set, American Renaissance, the Institute for Historic Review, and others at the Tara Thai restaurant in Arlington, Virginia, usually on Wednesdays. This is part of a dinner that was originally organized by Pat Buchanan, Sam Francis and Joe Sobran, and has since been mostly taken over by the Council of Conservative Citizens.

I have attended these dinners, seen Paul and his aides there, and been invited to his offices in Washington to discuss policy.

For his spokesman to call white racialism a “small ideology” and claim white activists are “wasting their money” trying to influence Paul is ridiculous. Paul is a white nationalist of the Stormfront type who has always kept his racial views and his views about world Judaism quiet because of his political position.

I don’t know that it is necessarily good for Paul to “expose” this. However, he really is someone with extensive ties to white nationalism and for him to deny that in the belief he will be more respectable by denying it is outrageous — and I hate seeing people in the press who denounce racialism merely because they think it is not fashionable.

Ron Paul vs. The Philosophically Bankrupt

After reading the name-calling and other non sequiturs from the anti-Ron Paul crowd, I am of the view that their hostility arises less from his opposition to war, or the direction American foreign policy has taken for decades, or any of the other specific programs he has criticized. What troubles them the most is that Paul has a philosophically-principled integrity in what he advocates and that, to challenge him, one must be prepared to deal with him at that higher level.

But modern political discourse long ago gave up on principles, in favor of the pursuit of power as a sufficient end. There is an intellectual bankruptcy exhibited by writers and speakers on the political “left,” “right,” or “middle.” Competing ideas and values that once engaged the minds of thoughtful men and women have given way to little more than pronouncements on behalf of narrowly-defined political programs; the validity of a proposition no longer depends upon reasoned analysis, but upon the outcome of public opinion polls.

Ron Paul’s campaign interjects an energized, principled inquiry into the political realm, an undertaking for which men and women with no philosophic center or rigorous minds find themselves woefully ill-prepared.

  2. El Borak Says:

I do note, my good Snoop, that a few posts down you commend Sen. Thompson for not pandering. Yet what has Ron Paul done here but not pander? To the press, to the liberals, and even to you.

I agree that the statement of Paul’s spokesman is idiotic - in fact, it’s idiotic because it’s pandering - accepting the politically-correct notion that only certain people in civic life are acceptable. It was not long ago that such a criteria was applied, unfairly I might add, to a much larger group of people.

Sure, there’s the issue of credibility (or rather of acceptibility - what has Ron Paul done here? - which arises directly out of the false premise above), yet I submit to you that it would not be regained by giving the money back. It would simply add a just accusation of weakness, of pandering, to it.

The correct answer is that Ron Paul is going to stand for his own ideas; he is not going to defend the ideas of every one of the thousands of people who give to his campaign. If they wish to go along, they are welcome.

In the end it’s rather a silly issue; does anyone really believe that a $500 contribution is going to change Ron Paul? Will it affect him? Convince him to do other than he would have done anyway?

    I think not.

  3. Michael Shanklin Says:

Actually, I started to like him after the article explaining why he was keeping the money from the Nazi guy! He said, “Now that guy has $500 less to spend on Nazi gear and propaganda…and I have $500 more to spread the constitution and liberty!” I just heard of him two weeks ago and I have fallen in love with his honesty and intergrity!

  4. Sean Says:

I’ll second my man Elborak’s comments above. As RP’s said in interviews, when you have over 100,000 donors in one day it’d be damn near impossible to screen them all for acceptablity. Think the Lizard Queen checks out her convicted felon donors, unless forced to?

If you take it as a percentage of that day’s total, it’s 0.0083%. Of this quarter’s total, 0.00278 %. Do you really think you buy importance with those types of numbers? Hell, I’m damn near the stormfront dude in contributions, and I just stand for peace and liberty. As do most supporters.

Everyone is going to have donors that other people don’t accept, or like. The difference with RP is that where the money comes from doesn’t matter to him, Constitutional principles do. There’s a reason lobbist avoid his office - offering money to him for a specific cause is FUCKING futile.

Bottom line is $500 out of 18.something million this quarter means diddly squat. Ron never endorsed their message, or even gave it a second rehasing, unlike the MSM. I know in your heart of hearts you have issues with Paul, but you have to realize that if Thompson doesn’t do something real quick, then it’s off to more fascism for America, unless we rally behind the man. No one else is acceptable in my opinion.

Feel free to rip me as you deem appropriate.

Ok, forgive me for being just a bit snippy but give me a fucken break, The Official Media Guide to Attacking Ron Paul, Are you fucken high?

I don’t need a fucken guide, the man hates black people it was obvious after that racist memo years ago.
However you people, can’t catch a clue!

People want their presidents tall, masculine, a touch, older dude, but someone with a look of a leader, someone who would want to go into battle with, not some mousy Barney Fife dude.

People, who want Ron Paul as president, want a sock puppet for a President. If he was President, and assessed the situation he would not be talking about pulling out of Iraq, it’s bullshit, but it gives you a hard on to hear him say it.

When you are an old dude holding on to the last bit of excitement in his subdue political career, he want to go out with a bang, and you people are accommodating him.
Giving him false hope, shame on you!

  8. James Says:

Paul has rejected the support of white supremacists openly and firmly. He has called their ideology “immoral” and “small”.

Paul has also openly denounced racism, calling it “an ugly form of collectivism”.

White supremacist organizations like Stormfront are dreaming if they think Paul will act in any way to benefit their hateful agenda.

    Thank You,

    James H.

  9. Terrymum Says:

Everyone take a deeeep breath and be calm.

Ron Paul is probably a really nice old guy, who thinks he can play these snakes at their own game - take their money then do not support their agendas. Pity the politician who thinks it works that way. They will find out that the people who pay money to you at least THINK they owe you; and if/when you betray them, they will work real hard to betray and harm you in the future.

I do not agree that our President SHOULD be a movie star looking guy or gal. But that is what the majority of people seem to want; look at who actually wins elections most of the time! We must be a collectively shallow bunch of people!! I loved Paul Songas back in the day, because he was telling people one simple truth - we cannot keep spending money on credit - that no one wanted to hear let alone admit was true. But because he looked like “Barney Fife” and sounded even worse, he had zippo shot at being elected.

And finally, on Ron Paul’s position on Iraq. I am forced to agree with Snoop on this one. Much as I abhor all wars and in particular one that costs so much of our resources for so little OBVIOUS return, I strongly suspect that there is a whole lot more going on that the American people have not been told and probably do not even want to know. But I believe we are there to stay, for decades to come. Let’s ask John of Arggggh for his opinon on that one, shall we?

Just as we ended Soviet occupation of Afghanstan only to find that our guns and training had benefited the Taliban, so too will we one day find out that our intervention in Iraq had some unforseen consquences - good or bad.

  10. DaveP Says:

Ummm…did anybody actually look at the forum where “Commander” White posted?

The *other racists* are calling him a liar.

On this site there is a listed disbursement for the Tara Thai restaurant.
    http://query.nictusa.com/pres/2007/Q3/C00432914/B_PAYEE_C00432914.html

    Google shows:
    Tara Thai
    4001 Fairfax Dr
    Arlington, VA 22203
    (703) 908-4999

But the racists apparently meet at the *Sala* Thai restaurant.

    Google shows:
    Sala Thai
    2900 10th St N
    Arlington, VA 22201
    (703) 465-2900

So it is entirely possible that this guy is lying, or plain wrong. Anyway, this evidence is circumstantial.

And, in addition, Ron Paul disavowed any racist support on the PBS NOW interview. (if I recall correctly, part 2, 3:45 in).

  12. Sean Says:

I’ll just say these two points, and then shut up…

On the racism, and the memo, the memo was written by a staffer who was promptly kicked on his ass to the curb after its publication. Do I think RP has some racist tendencies in his personal life - probably. But show me a white dude in his 70’s that doesn’t and I’ll give you a big prize. The only way my grandma got over her racism was when she had a mixed grandchild born into the family, and the love of that kid outweighed stuff she learned when she grew up. My gramps had a a black service crew on his B-29, that always had it in fine working order while he had to go and bomb Japan - that killed any racism he had then. The other side, they were from Alabama, so there was no changing them…If you believe the man will follow through on his word (and no other politician can say, look at where I’ve stood for over 30 years), then even if he is personally racist, his policies will not reflect it.

On Iraq - some say, we broke it, we’ve got to fix it. Some say it’s a hornets nest of terrorists, and we’re fighting them over there instead of having to fight them here. Some say it’s just for decomposed dinosaurs. I say, I always thought it was a bad idea. Bush wanted to finish a fight his dad didn’t. Yes, it’s a fuckup all around, and maybe conditions are improving, but we’re giving the country over to factional parties to achieve that. Staying there for years just means that I’ve got to consider moving my kids from the greatest country in the world, so they don’t have to foot the bill for stupidity.

I’m with Vox on the situation. a) Radical Muslims are extremely fucked in the head. b) They’ve had intertribal conflicts that have been going on for centuries, c) they’ve only recently directed their attention to us, due to our policies.

So, I say, and many people would call me a horrible human for this - pull the fuck out, fast. Let them have their war, but now America isn’t the boogyman, it’s the Sunni, the Shia, or the Kurd. Every nation in that area has stakes in the battle. They would turn their money towards winning it - and if no one has won it in a millenia, it’s unwinable. For the most part, they’ll be off our ass in a heartbeat. BUT, we should really check out every “Mohamed” coming into the country, and those that are here. It goes down to Sun Tzo, the first part of winning a battle is divide and conquer. We’ve divided, now back up, let them kill themselves for a while (of course a lot of people would call for intervention, but if we’re really in a war against islam, it’s the best strategy, and we shouldn’t give a fuck), and conquer. Why people don’t read old war theory still baffles me.

One third point, I suppose. Iran! We need to fricken’ drop it, use diplomacy, never bomb. As a state sponsor of terror, they’re tops. As a percentage of immigrants let into this country - let’s say that when I’m interviewing graduate students for internships, about 2 of 5 are Iranian. Do you think all of them have noble intentions - or have some of them been trained in suicide vesting if told? I think that’s a can of worms that shouldn’t be opened. I’m all for Visa enforcement, getting people who shouldn’t be here out of the country and limiting who can come, and where they’re from. But if shopping mall bombers come to America, it won’t be from Al-Queda, it’ll be from Iran, from people already here - that scares the fuck out of me when we go saber rattling. I think ending Iran’s nuclear program would have (I will not get into economic theory here) been very easy a couple of years ago. US says, we’ll trade with you if you abandon your nuclear program and agree to inspections - Iran says, decent enough. Now, who knows?

    So, my 2c…

    on another topic…

WTF about your right clicking policy though? the editor tells me I’ve spelled stuff wront, but when I right click to change it, I’m not allowed. How’s a man that has real talents in math and science supposed to sound smart when he can’t get the spell check to work?

“Staying there for years just means that I’ve got to consider moving my kids from the greatest country in the world, so they don’t have to foot the bill for stupidity.”

I’m going to wave the white flag on Ron Paul because either you folks just say fuck it, we’re going to support Ron Paul mo matter what crazy shit he has to say.

Sean, other Ron Paul fans I’m gonna say it one more time.

We are in Iraq to ensure the free uninterrupted flow of oil. I don’t care how many times Ron Paul says we should not be in Iraq. Either he is a fool, or he is pimping for votes, because even the Democrats, including Hillary if they win the WH we will still be in Iraq, at the end of his or her term, whoever is the next president, we will still be in Iraq.
We will be in the Middle East until we find another energy resource.
Do you notice that even the Democrats have stopped talking about Iraq, as bad as Iraq is suppose to be and as big a fuck up it supposedly is it is all of a sudden off the table.
Any politician who is honest with his constituents would tell you the same thing.
Stabilization in the Middle East is our (USA’s) job like it or not.
Why you folks can’t comprehend that I just don’t know.

All of the crap Ron Paul says in interviews and during debates is bullshit, EVERYTHING because he is a lower tier candidate, trying to appeal to the most extreme element of both parties.
If Ron Paul were a serious candidate he would soften his stance on issues and attempt to be more mainstream just like all of the other candidates.

Why you Ron Paul supporters can’t understand basic logic I’m not sure, but I’m done, seriously, I will not post any more Ron Paul shit here, because you folks have a tumor, this utopian, political nonsense tumor.

He has no chance, never had a chance, he is only campaigning to become a relevant figure in the party.
I’m like fuck it, continue to throw you money at him, idolize the dude like he is the second coming of Jesus, but despite all the millions raised and he support of white racist types he will simply become the Ross Perot of the 2008 campaign.

    Hi, 1st time here.
I looks like your a black man in support of conservatives and Fred Thompson in particular.
Your saying that a republican has taken some racist money. Look I’m black and have voted republican the pass 10 years but I’m under no illusion that racist money doesn’t go to ALL the republican candidates. I’d be surprised if any white male over 50 years old wouldn’t qualify on some level as a racist. It’s part of America. That said I give his responses to this issue a “C”. But on other issues, grading on a curve, I give Paul an A compared to everyone else on the republican side.

    peace
