Why some Black Folks say stupid shit
First my customary warning to squeamish individuals who may have found my blog accidentally and therefore may have their heads explode after they read my diatribe.
I was thinking, I need to look into writing a book, or at least having some geek help me write one, maybe I can score movie rights and make a few bucks. What would the title be?
The Unapologetic Negro – My attempt at explaining Negro foibles to White America.
I have sat all morning and afternoon trying to come up with something relatively original to try and explain Negros like Andrew Young. How someone who most folks would consider a reasonable and thoughtful individual can spout off to a crowd full of other ignorant Negros and utter the stupid shit he did.
First, of course you must remember, this is the age of You Tube. I don’t care what any MSM journalist, politicians; political pundit says I think that You Tube is the greatest asset to Democracy ever. Simply because ignorant ass people like Young will never, ever be able to get away with stunning examples of immense ignorance and get away with it.
It is no longer necessary to have some third party interpret stupidity for us, just post their unfiltered ignorance for the masses to digest.
People I said in an earlier post that what Young said is something that my father might say. Any old black dude 60 plus years of age is likely to have his mindset. Old black men are the most racist people on the planet because they (we) have anger and mistrust from every damm body from back in the day.
Let ole Snoop come clean on some prejudice issues.
As a young man I hated Japanese people. I read, I believe in high school, a speech given by the chairman of Toyota (not 100% sure) I know it was the chairman of one of the automobile manufactures where dude said basically that he did not like the idea of building automotive plants in the United States because they would be “forced” to hire blacks. Dude basically said that black people were lazy and corrupt and being forced to hire them would hurt the bottom line.
I carried my hatred towards Japanese people for quite some time, in fact, when I went into the Air Force I lobbied hard not to ever be sent to Japan because I did not want to live near jap folks.
I believed for the longest time the Japanese people were the most xenophobic mutherfuckers on the planet. One of the reasons why I love General Patton so much because he hated and wanted to kill Germans and when he was done he wanted to do the same thing to Japs (as he put it)
Muslims; well I mentioned on this blog an incident in high school where we jumped a bunch of Iranian students for burning the American flag; this was during the Iran hostage crisis.
I also mentioned the first kid I ever knew from a foreign country, Hagope who was from Iraq, I was in the fourth grade, so this was 1973 or so. Anywho this kid would go on and on about how crappy America was, and how stupid American were, all the time living in a kick ass house on the hill above mine, both of his parents were surgeons making big time money, but this kid when I first met him could not complete a sentence without ripping America. You think that was by accident!?
As a result, for years, exaggerated by the flag burning incident in high school I really hated Muslims Middle Eastern folks or anyone who looked like them. None of the earlier terrorists crap perpetrated by Muslims in the 80’s and early 90’s were hardly a shock to me. I said years ago that one day we would be forced into a war with these people. They will be blowing up buildings and reeking havoc here, led by my little friend Hagope.
I honestly carry much of that angst with me today. Remember this started at what age 9 or 10!
This is another reason why it pisses me off when politicians lie about them claiming that they “change their views on issues or people” fucken liars. Except for my extreme repulse for gay men, most of my basic prejudices are still in tact. I’m just completely honest about them.
FYI, my repulse of gays came from my earlier field trips to San Francisco and seeing first hand those gay rights parades first hand and watching these freaks jack each other off in public and do other tasteless shit for public amusement. Trust me when I tell you the parades were far worse back then 70’s and 80’s because at least today to some degree gays in their attempt to become more “mainstream” and not be pegged by intolerant people like me as being sexual freak deviant fucks try to keep that ridiculous behavior in check.
Ah Mexicans, growing up in Oakland, tensions between blacks and Mexicans were always at a fever pitch. Fights between Mexicans and blacks were common.
Mexicans were notorious for jumping blacks to intimidate them into staying out of certain parts of the city.
Until I met a good friend John Giuffre in the Air Force I never had a friend or an acquaintance who was Mexican, I could not stand any Spanish speaking individual.
I had Mexicans say to me back then that we “Americans” took their land from them and their goal was to eventually get it back. Now folks I’m 44 so this current outrage with illegal immigration is just amusing to me, Mexicans have been talking about taking shit over since I was a kid. So the prejudice carries on to some extent.
John use to joke about “we Mexicans are gonna take over, just wait.” I never took it as a joke, as we all know all humor has some semblance of truth behind it.
White people; well my world was torn. When we first moved to our neighborhood in Oakland I had not spent any considerable time around any white people. My first time adventuring out into the hood I came across this little white girl Barbara, she was as curious about me as I was about her. She clearly has never been about any little black boys and asked me questions about everything from my favorite toys to how my hair did that Afro thing. Oh and peep this she even asked did I have to “vacuum” my hair? Seriously, no shit! You white people are so crazy, LOL!
At the time I did not care I was so smitten with her we became best buds. She introduced me to the other kids in the hood, mostly white girls, to the chagrin of the white daddies in the hood.
All invited me into their homes at first; others strangely enough would never invite me into their homes as we grew older.
Some later admitted that their parents did not like black people and some were told not to associate with me, but they never followed their parents’ advice. They were good friends and I enjoyed talking to them I became their little Negro confidant, LOL!
This was my dilemma, the majority of my friends in those early days were white, and I’ll admit something else, the major reason why most of my friends were white was because they never asked me for anything. We shared, our toys, our candy and friendship, we had conversations about all kinds of stuff. Even about the racism stuff I and other black kids who would slowly populate the school experienced.
I started to live in two worlds, I would visit my black friends who lived on the other side of Mills College (at that time an all girl’s college) and when I wanted to remain close to home I hung with the white kids. Some other black kids would enter the circle of friends but they were noticeable uncomfortable being around white kids.
Some use to say, “my dad would kill me if he caught me in a white girls house.”
But even back then, damm near every black kid who came to my house would always ask for something, “got anything to eat?” “can I borrow your records?” (45’s, albums for the old style technology ignorant) “got any money?” It wasn’t like these mutherfuckers came from the ghetto or were poor, but they damm sure were prolific about asking for shit.
Most of the black folks I dealt with as a kid always wanted something; it wasn’t until I met my good friends while in the Air Force that I met black folks that were smart, thoughtful, true friends not a bunch of needy mutherfuckers.
This is why so many black folks make good Democrats.
Now my father would not forbid me from entering a white person’s house but he always advised extreme caution. He would say to me “don’t give these white folks a reason to call the police on you, cause they will do so in a minute”
I along with my middle brother were the perfect little Negro kids. I would help the moms carry in groceries and thank them for making me lunch and complement them on their cookies. My brother Chris was busy mowing lawns for some of them, and was even asked to baby-sit one of my friends. In fact this family the Bauer’s named their new son Christopher because they liked my brother so much.
We were polite, well behaved, respectful, non threatening.
Our yard was well maintained to white standards and no loud James Brown music could be heard coming from our home, LOL!
I worked on keeping the good Negro perception because of what my father told me the first day I went to school in Oakland. “Unfair or not, you have to be the representative for black folks because many of these white kids have never been around black kids, their first and only impressions of black people may be a result of how you act and conduct yourself.” Not exactly the quote but damm close.
Others I have told this too just cringe at the notion that my father would put that kind of burden on me, but folks as a man of I dare say again 44, my father was correct.
Ok Snoop, bla, bla, bla what does this have to do with Young?
I was fortunate, my being able to slip in and out of the white world taught me a valuable lesson in how to deal with people and how I should deal with people on a person by person basis. None of these political victim filters that even someone as well known as Andrew Young suffers from.
Although I am a ranting bastard, and still hold some deep seeded prejudices all based on my experiences I relished the thought of learning from the new folks I encountered.
I was able to put away my narrow-minded oh woe is me simple Negro mindset.
I dare say that Andrew Young being a former U.S. Ambassador and someone who has participated in far more meaningful stuff that I, a whole host of interesting stuff in his career has STILL never been able to shake his old world Negro hostility towards white folks and see them as tools for Negros to use rather than colleagues and individuals who may or may not have good intentions when it comes to dealing with black folks.
Too many of these old guard black folks still see themselves as sitting in the back of the proverbial mental bus. This is why black folks who proclaim themselves to be Republicans or I dare say Conservatives are such an enigma to most of these old dog Negros.
Still far too many black folks think that we all us black folks need to belong to this imaginary “team.” Find some well meaning white person and ride the plantation wagon with them to success are prosperity, usually a Democrat (Bill and Hillary after all they are black).
Obama can’t be that individual because his plantation wagon is not ready for the road; it is not ready to take on the rigors of the rough road necessary for black politicians to succeed.
What Young said to these folks was all too typical of what many old black folks say in private. They are enamored by the star political and economic power Negro Bill and Hillary represent and they want a piece of the action. Bill and Hillary is one of us, they will “hook us up” needy Negros!
However Young as are many old dudes still have not been schooled in the era of You Tube, and that you better be careful when divulging the old world Negro secrets to American success and prosperity.
However, despite Young’s ignorance, politics reflect the times, and the times, they are a-changin’. Increasingly, blacks are beginning to realize there is another truth about Negros loyalty to Democrats: It hasn’t been a resounding success.
Because the light is being shed on this type of Negro ignorance, Democrat Negro poverty pimps like Young are looked at with more scrutiny. You folks were never privy to this type of illogical nonsense. I can here some of you, “ah so that is why some black folks are fucked politically, they listen and absorb this lunacy.
The word that Democrats simply take most ethnic group, more notably black folks for granted shows signs of catching on.
I believe the ideological momentum is shifting to the right. As more people, particularly young blacks are exposed to more and more black intellectuals like Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams and John McWhorter, Larry Elder, they will come to understand why the ignorance of people like Young are so divisive and detrimental to the success of blacks everywhere.
Despite al of Young’s experience and opportunities he still leads the charge in what is known in some circles as the ‘victicrat’ mindset.
I see the airing of Young’s ignorance as a positive thing. I am (as of the time I bang this out on a keyboard) still curious as to what the other black rednecks will say about this.
I have searched high and low all day and not found jack. Negros are mysteriously silent, I guess they don’t want to bash a civil right icon too severely or will simple just hope it blows over.
So why do some black folks say stupid shit, well you white folks are not suppose to be paying attention, it’s a black thang Mr. Young would say, for black consumption only!!
