Is Mike Huckabee insane? Snoop thinks so…
Saturday, December 29th, 2007
This from Sister Toldjah
Sphere: Related ContentUp until a couple of months ago, Mike Huckabee didn’t stand out much for anyone. He wasn’t polling well, and the mediots and his opponents paid very little attention to anything he did. However, since he’s risen in the polls and the spotlight’s brightened considerably on his campaign, what’s shone the most is not an image a potential president should want to emulate.
Before I go any further, a few nice comments about Huckabee are in order: I’ve said before that Huckabee is a likeable guy. But likeable guys don’t always make good presidents. He’s someone you could take to the buffet breakfast at Shoney’s and shoot the breeze with. Somebody you wouldn’t mind being your neighbor. If he were still a minister, he’s someone you wouldn’t mind going to hear preach his Sunday sermon. But presidential material he isn’t.Outside of the far left, you don’t find many people who are eager for a president who flies by the seat of his pants on any given day, not knowing which way to go.
Essentially, that’s what we’ve learned about Huckabee: that he has no idea how to conduct himself as a man running for the honor of getting elected as president of the greatest country in the world, and, frankly, is a person who can be downright bizarro sometimes.
I’ve written before about Huckabee’s record of flip flopping and fiscal liberalism, which I’m not asserting is bizarro. Not good for a Republican candidate, but certainly not insane, either. But here’s where it starts to get a bit wacky: In that post, I noted Huckabee’s ignorance of the Iran NIE report, which had been released for a full 24 hours by the time he was asked about it. I also noted how he admitted he was flip-flopping on his position on the Cuba embargo because he was running for president.

Friday, December 28th, 2007Blog folks for Thompson
Friday, December 28th, 2007Sphere: Related Content
While Fred Thompson is not leading the polls, Thompson does have a majority of endorsements from prominent conservative bloggers. Here are some of the higher profile conservatives on the Internet who have come out and endorsed or support Thompson (H/T to Josh Painter):
Polipundit, IMAO, Pejman Yousefzadeh on Red State, SayAnything blog, Rick Moran of rightwingnuthouse and the American Thinker, Rightontheright, Bob Krumm, Eugene Volokh, Beldarblog, FloppingAces, The DailyPundit (Bill Quick), David Hinz (The Hinzsight Report), Alo Konsen (Brainshavings.com), Gamecock (Race42008.com and The Hinzsight Report), John Hawkins (Rightwingnews), Jonathan Adler (NRO and the Volokh Conspiracy), TraderRob (Opinipundit), Haystack (hick politics, Redstate), Erik Erickson (Redstate), Professor Steven Brainbridge, Conservativesuperiority.com
There are many more, but not enough space or time to mention them all. Blogger endorsements obviously don’t have a large impact on the actual voting process, but what is important is that all of these pundits follow the race and the candidates closely, and make up their minds not only on soundbytes, but on substance and record. Some of these bloggers have been on board since the beginning, while others have only endorsed Thompson recently.
Well, it is time to officially add my name to the list. Of course, our readers here are well aware of who I support and I even work with the campaign, but I realized I have never really officially said “I endorse (insert candidate’s name) for president).” I’m not in the same league as some of these prominent bloggers, but this site has its share of readers and we hold our own against many on the web.
So, now it is time to officially announce that I, Tommy Oliver, contributor to Race42008.com and a member of the Federalist Society, will throw my endorsement and support behind………….
No surprise………. Fred Dalton Thompson for President of the United States.

Friday, December 28th, 2007NYP: Don’t Shed Any Tears For Ms. Bhutto
Friday, December 28th, 2007Interesting read…
Sphere: Related ContentDecember 28, 2007 — FOR the next several days, you’re going to read and hear a great deal of pious nonsense in the wake of the assassination of Pakistan’s former prime minister, Benazir Bhutto. Her country’s better off without her. She may serve Pakistan better after her death than she did in life.
We need have no sympathy with her Islamist assassin and the extremists behind him to recognize that Bhutto was corrupt, divisive, dishonest and utterly devoid of genuine concern for her country.
She was a splendid con, persuading otherwise cynical Western politicians and “hardheaded” journalists that she was not only a brave woman crusading in the Islamic wilderness, but also a thoroughbred democrat.
In fact, Bhutto was a frivolously wealthy feudal landlord amid bleak poverty. The scion of a thieving political dynasty, she was always more concerned with power than with the wellbeing of the average Pakistani. Her program remained one of old-school patronage, not increased productivity or social decency.
Educated in expensive Western schools, she permitted Pakistan’s feeble education system to rot - opening the door to Islamists and their religious schools.
During her years as prime minister, Pakistan went backward, not forward. Her husband looted shamelessly and ended up fleeing the country, pursued by the courts. The Islamist threat - which she artfully played both ways - spread like cancer.

Can I take “you people” to include the overwhelming majority of military contributors? A vote for Ron Paul isn’t a vote for Ron Paul. It’s a vote against a system where not a majority, but a near-totality of politicians are bought by corporations. Say what you like about him, even call him a hypocrite if you believe that about him. But one thing he is NOT, is BOUGHT. That’s at least 60% of the reason why I support this man.
Clinton’s “don’t ask” policy
Friday, December 28th, 2007
(link) As she races through Iowa in the days before next week’s caucuses, Hillary Clinton is taking few chances. She tells crowds that it’s their turn to “pick a president,’’ but over the last two days she has not invited them to ask her any questions. Before the brief Christmas break, the New York senator had been setting aside time after campaign speeches to hear from the audience. Now when she’s done speaking, her theme songs blare from loudspeakers, preventing any kind of public Q&A.
She was no more inviting when a television reporter approached her after a rally on Thursday and asked if she was “moved’’ by Benazir Bhutto’s assassination. Clinton turned away without answering.
Her daughter, Chelsea, had the same reaction when a reporter approached her with a question.
Hillary Clinton’s no-question policy didn’t sit well with some of the Iowans who came to see her speak.
“I was a little bit underwhelmed,’’ said Doug Rohde, 46, as he left her a rally in a fire station in Denison. “The message was very generic — and no questions.’’
I’m actually going to side with Mrs. Bill on this one; I’m thinking what the fuck, how many times can you deal with taking the same stupid fucken questions over and over from a bunch of clueless rednecks.
I heard on the news last night that 1/3 of the folks in Iowa STILL say they are undecided!
Um people if you are still undecided about what person you are supporting for president then frankly you are either mildly retarded, or you really don’t give a shit.
In the age of You Tube and 24 hour news cycles, and millions of blogs what the fuck else do you have to know about a particular candidate.
How many times do you have to hear a Democrat say, “health care for everybody, bla, bla, bla” “out of Iraq” “welfare benefits for all, bla bla bla.” Get a clue!!!!
The fact that every damm time I see an audience of people in Iowa behind a candidate it’s a fucken blue hair, bingo crowd, lollapalooza fest.
Shit they can’t remember what Obama said the day before at the pancake breakfast or two days before at the Butter Cow Convention or two weeks before at the Miss Future Farmers of America Pageant, damm!!!

Thursday, December 27th, 2007The Dr. Snoop Ron Paul fan therapy session of the day
Thursday, December 27th, 2007Ok here is my obligatory Ron Paul post of the day.
God I fucken love You Tube!!Someone actually posted a clip of Ron Paul on the Morton Downey Jr show from 1988.
Funny shit, you have to watch.
Ok Ron Paul fans pay close attention.
Think for a moment, here is Ron Paul almost 20 years ago ranting about the same old bullshit he is ranting about today.
This dude, a seemingly crackpot candidate for president in 1988, is still scamming you people ranting about shit that frankly he really is not all that serious about.
Why else would he appear on the 80’s version of the Jerry Springer show?
Fast forward to his interview on Meet the Press last Sunday, you would think that a man who has been spouting off these political views for more than 20 years would have his theories and rants straight by now, but he doesn’t. His interview was reminiscent of a young confused child, giving an oral report to a grade school class.
How could an individual, who had been seemingly articulating the Libertarian point of view all these years is still incapable of articulating this point of view with any amount of clarity. Why? Because he doesn’t truly believe in them, or does not care. All of this libertarian crap he rants about is just for show, its bullshit.
Ah but let ole Snoop come clean about one thing, he is not a dufus, or a buffoon, or an idiot. This dude is shrewd, cunning, and clever.
He knows that there is no way in hell he could possible win the presidency, but he has developed this bogus libertarian persona that he know all too well that a certain percentage of rabid political junkies will buy into.
This year he has managed to turn that into a cash cow, $19 million worth, thanks to the internet and a bunch of unsuspecting astonishingly naïve people.
This video and many more that are available on You Tube shows a man who has perfected this bumbling, ranting Barney Fife political persona.
The details of his political leanings are irrelevant, it’s all about continuing to grab additional 15 minutes here and there during this presidential political cycle.
With his fundraising successes and rabid fan support he knows that although he won’t be anything more than just another congressman, he will go down in presidential political lore as this old folk hero with this new brand of political realism. When we all know it’s not all that real, and certainly not that new.
Wanna bet dude makes one or more presidential runs if he lives long enough.
Why the hell not, if you people are so eager to part with your hard earned money to support a presidential comic act I’m sure Dr. Paul will oblige you.
Global Warming Will Save America from the Right…Eventually

Wow Global Warming terrorist liberals want to drown right wing folks.
This crazy commentary is not a shock to me but I’m amazed that someone is nutty enough to publish what liberal really think.
Sphere: Related ContentThe area that will by completely inundated by the rising ocean—and not in a century but in the lifetime of my two cats—are the American southeast, including the most populated area of Texas, almost all of Florida, most of Louisiana, and half of Alabama and Mississippi, as well as goodly portions of eastern Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. While the northeast will also see some coastal flooding, its geography is such that that aside from a few projecting sandbars like Long Island and Cape Cod, the land rises fairly quickly to well above sea level. Sure, Boston, New York and Philadelphia will be threatened, but these are geographically confined areas that could lend themselves to protection by Dutch-style dikes.
The West Coast too tends to rise rapidly to well above sea level in most places.
Only down in Southern California towards the San Diego area is the ground closer to sea level.
So what we see is that huge swaths of conservative America are set to face a biblical deluge in a few more presidential cycles.
Will GOP folks hold their collective noses to support McCain?
Wednesday, December 26th, 2007Found this via Michelle Malkin, these folks issues with McCain mirror mine pretty much

None of the candidates looks truly inspiring at this point. I wouldn’t buy a used car from most of them, nor a brand new car from some of them…Sphere: Related Content… John McCain seems to be having a little resurgence but it is hard to believe that Republicans are so desperate as to support a man who joined with far left Democrat Russ Feingold to restrict free speech in the name of “campaign finance reform” and with Ted Kennedy to sponsor a bill giving amnesty to illegal immigrants.

Mike Huckabee loves illegal aliens, no really he does…
Wednesday, December 26th, 2007It’s the day after Christmas and I just can’t keep myself away from blogging.
I’m certain that someone is going to open a blogging addictions treatment unit somewhere and I likely will be one of the first patients.
I could not help it, I read this piece on Suckabee and all I could do was laugh.
I continue to be amazed at how hard the media is working to try and make Romney and Huckabee the front runners on the GOP side.
I don’t mind that McCain is getting a bit of a bump, I generally don’t have too many issues with him other than his propensity to want to kiss Democrats asses on some key issues.
Suckabee, well if you are not a fan of G Dub, and I am not, then the last person you would want in the White House is Suckabee.
Suckabee leading in the polls will be short lived. As time marches on, his liberal record will become more apparent and his campaign will fade like cheap paint job.
Now I realize that Iowa is a necessary evil. The idea that a bunch of hayseeds can continue to have that much say so on the direction of either of the campaigns is ridiculous.
The fact that Suckabee can come out of nowhere and win the hearts of a bunch of farmers that quickly just shows you how meaningless the Iowa caucuses are.
Anywho, the article, Suckabee, illegal love.
Sphere: Related ContentMike Huckabee is overselling his record of cracking down on illegal aliens as governor, claiming he ordered his state police to arrest illegal aliens when in fact he never signed the agreement with federal authorities that would have allowed it.Mr. Huckabee signed a bill that began the process, but he never followed through with signing an agreement with the Department of Homeland Security to secure training for state police officers. Without it, they cannot enforce federal immigration law.
“This is a policy difference, but the facts are the facts — under Governor Huckabee’s administration, there was never even any effort to begin negotiating with Homeland Security,” said former state Rep. Jeremy Hutchinson, the Republican who sponsored the 2005 law.
Mr. Huckabee’s campaign acknowledged he didn’t follow through, but said it was lack of time, not lack of interest.
“The clock ran out. We’re glad to hear Governor Beebe picked up the ball and is running with it,” said Charmaine Yoest, a senior adviser to Mr. Huckabee.
Mr. Huckabee signed the law in March 2005, more than 20 months before he left office. In less than a year in office, his successor, Gov. Mike Beebe, a Democrat, has already begun negotiations with DHS.
Immigration-control groups say they fear Mr. Huckabee could repeat President Bush’s track record on immigration, which they say amounted to tough talk but a failure to follow through.
“The devil is in the details, and Bush has shown a pattern of deception on immigration enforcement again and again and again, and the Huckster is right in line with that technique,” said William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, who said Mr. Huckabee is trying to fool the Republican primary electorate.

Illegal immigrants “self deport” as woes mount
Sphere: Related ContentPHOENIX (Reuters) - Mexican illegal immigrant Lindi sat down with her husband Marco Antonio in the weeks before Christmas to decide when to go back to Mexico. She has spent three years working as a hairdresser in and around Phoenix, but now she figures it is time to go back to her hometown of Aguascalientes in central Mexico.
“The situation has got so tough that there don’t seem to be many options left for us,” Lindi, who asked for her last name not to be used, told Reuters.
The couple are among a growing number of illegal immigrants across the United States who are starting to pack their bags and move on as a crackdown on undocumented immigrants widens and the U.S. economy slows, turning a traditional Christmas trek home into a one-way trip.
In the past year, U.S. immigration police have stepped up workplace sweeps across the country and teamed up with a growing number of local forces to train officers to enforce immigration laws.
Meanwhile, a bill seeking to offer many of the 12 million illegal immigrants a path to legal status was tossed by the U.S. Congress, spurring many state and local authorities to pass their own measures targeting illegal immigrants.
Read the rest, but you get the point.

Sunday, December 23rd, 2007From The Politico

Rush Limbaugh — responding to Mike Huckabee’s peace offering — said today that he doesn’t need to talk with the former Arkansas governor.
(I would tell Suckabee to kiss my ass!!!!)
“I saw his comments and accept them as honest, sincere and genuine,” Limbaugh wrote in an e-mail.
Still, the conservative talk show host indicated his continued displeasure at the anonymous remarks Thursday from a Huckabee backer suggesting he takes his cues from the ”D.C./Manhattan chattering class” that sparked this conflagration.
“What was somewhat stunning about all this is that NO ONE in the GOP field, including advisers and staff, could possibly misread my 19-plus-year career the way Gov. Huckabee’s D.C. supporter did,” Limbaugh said. “Whoever said those things was essentially repeating the Democrat mantra of all these years: that I am just an entertainer, not an independent thinker, part of the Wall Street/D.C. axis. If it was someone on Gov. Huckabee’s staff or support team, it was just silly, uninformed and thus curious.”
Limbaugh, the most listened-to talk show host in America and an influential voice in the conservative constellation, devoted part of his show Friday to defending himself against the charges.“I’m part of the Cape Girardeau-Middle America axis,” Limbaugh said on the program, alluding to his Missouri hometown.
He also struck back, calling the attacks “Clintonian” and accused Huckabee’s campaign of “trying to dumb down conservatism in order to get it to conform with his record.”
In his e-mail, Limbaugh kept it up.“Gov. Huckabee’s campaign is engaged in identity politics at this moment, so I understand his adviser’s/supporter’s intent to put the focus on me rather than the substance of my commentary,” he tweaked.
And as for Huckabee’s plea for Limbaugh to get in touch, the man behind the golden EIB microphone said this: [T]here are people on his Arkansas staff who know full well how to reach me and they have not. But that is not necessary to me. We’re not playing in a kindergarten sandbox here. We are all presumably adults.”
Limbaugh did, though, offer a timely coda: ”I wish Gov. Huckabee a Merry Christmas.”
The abject failure of liberalism

From Sister Toldjah
I know this is the time of year where we’re supposed to show “good will” towards others in the spirit of the holiday season, but I’m not feeling especially charitable towards the left these days. Christmas is 2 days away. I’ll leave the left alone on that day and that day only.
I read this blogpost by Michelle Malkin this morning about a fanatical black woman shouting down white people during an angry New Orleans city council hearing last week in which a debate was held about razing public housing.
The woman, Sharon Jasper, would have you believe she’s a poor, helpless, victim, but in reality this woman is a known activist in the area who lives in the projects - and just so happens to have a mammoth wide-screen TV sitting in her livingroom. Check out the picture of Jasper’s livingroom here, and take special note of the quote underneath the picture. Here’s what it reads (emphasis added):
Sharon Jasper sits in the living room of her voucher-backed private residence. “I might be poor but I don’t like to live poor. I thank God for a place to live but it’s pitiful what people give you.”
To say that this is the epitome of the severe damage liberal “entitlement” programs have done to society would be an understatement of epic proportions. We have an entire class of people in this country who “expect” others to do everything for them, including subsidize their very existence, and they don’t want it done “on the cheap.”
ANGRY NEGROS!! GIMMIE MY MONEY!!!

Paul Defends Asking for Special Projects
Sunday, December 23rd, 2007
“I’ve never voted for an earmark in my life,” the Texas congressman said under questioning on NBC’s “Meet the Press” about reports that he has requested hundreds of millions of dollars for special projects in his home district.”
I put them in because I represent people who are asking for some of their money back,” said Paul, who likened it to taking a tax credit. “I’m against the tax system, but I take all my tax credits. I want to get their money back for the people.”
The great thing about posting Ron Paul stuff is you don’t have to write anything. Just post whatever crazy shit he happens to say and wait for someone to come to his defense.
He has surpassed Ross Perot in the loony politician category.
If it were not for the shit loads of money dude has raised I would think that Ron Paul would be some comic playing a politician, another Borat or something.
I still continue to read crazy shit like this:
(link) I have seen polls where 49% of those polled said under no circumstance would they vote for Paul. How ignorant they must be to not realize they are also saying that they are against the Constitution, against freedom, and for big government if they are against Paul.
And this:
Ron Paul Shines on Meet the Press
It was the absolutely most aggressive interview I have ever seen by Russert on “Meet the Press” He dredged up every slimy thing he could find to attack Dr. Paul. Yet, Dr. Paul was able to rebut EVERY SINGLE ONE!!!
Clearly dude did not see the Romney interview or Giuliani’s grilling.
He clearly does not want to be president; he is enamored with all the internet love he is getting, and I think he knows he can say this crazy shit and people will still send him money.
Despite raising $19 million he is still in the single digits in the polls.
No sane candidate for president would come out with shit like:
- Admitting that he supports decriminalizing drugs at a national level.
- That he would vote against the Civil Rights Act of 1964 if it were brought up again. (I’m sure this is why the Neo-Nazi crowd loves him)
- Pointed out that he though Ronald Reagan was “a dramatic failure”
- Abraham Lincoln should have bought the slaves and freed them instead of going to war over them.
You Ron Paul fans worry me, well not really…. I have never seen such blind loyalty for a guy that is a complete laughing stock. I swear to God, I don’t get it. This is unlike anything I have ever seen in politics.
If he were a smart, charismatic, good looking, friendly, articulate guy maybe I could see the love, but he is none of that. All he has to do is utter “Constitution” and people get a hard on. So none of you people gave a shit about the Constitution until Ron Paul made it an issue, what the fuck!?
Let’s see… “get rid of the IRS”, and do what exactly?
Sure bring all of our troops home, get rid of a shit load of gubment bureaucracy and do what? Oh he hasn’t got that far yet.
He is like so many liberals who live in fantasy land and thinks only in “theory.”
We have an entire fucken world of eggheads, who are in their little bubbles and when they get the opportunity to make their inner thoughts known, they spout theory bullshit all fucken day.
Lincoln should have brought the slaves? Hey Paul, Lincoln did not want those niggers over here in the first place, so ya think dude was gonna buy a few darkies and do what with them?
I’m as guilty as spreading this Ron Paul dreamland philosophy mess, but as a person who loves to study people, I can’t help but to be fascinated by his fans.
What will you people do when he drops out of the race? God I hope y’all will be ok.
Don’t be mad at Snoop for pointing out the obvious. I don’t play favorites; I’m an equal opportunity attacker.
However it’s clear that far more American’s think like I do, but the legions of Ron Paul fans stand poised to strike.
Did you notice that Russert did not even grill dude for the full hour?
Could it be that either Paul is not interesting enough to fill the hour or was Russert was giving him a break? You fans should be thanking Russert for not exposing him to any more embarrassment.

Great job by Dr. Paul. So far I’ve watched the first 17 minutes of this Meet the Press, and Ron Paul gets a solid A in his handling of Russert’s efforts to prevent Dr. Paul from communicating the liberty message to the millions of people watching.

Knocked it out of the Park! Russerts lame attempt with the ear-mark Smear was shot down in flames… Ron PAul VOTED against each BILL! Its amazing to see Russert grasping at such non-issues. I guess that’s all he could “get” on Ron Paul to make him look bad! To bad it didn’t work for Russert…Russert needs to find a new job…HA HA Hee!

Ron Paul is just too intelligent to bring down. His arguments are sound
and his policies are consistent. He knows his ideas are too radical for
America to accept in one term. But I believe he has the exact policies we need to save this
world from uncontrolled domination(foreign and domestic).
***
I fear this interview was over too many American’s heads. I have trouble imagining he gained many supporters after this interview. Because Russert attacked him so hard, he probably made people afraid of the horrible things that Ron Paul’s ideas could mean. Just because Ron Paul’s ideas can bring controversy doesn’t mean he’s wrong though. It just means some people can’t fathom the truth about all the other politicians.
***
Ron Paul is Paul Revere updated! On his mighty steed of truth his hoofbeats are resounding through the land. The horrible ugly mirror image of ourselves that he is forcing us to look at and that we must not turn away from, is that we have become a people, a nation dependant upon huge corporations who’s primary product is selling death and destruction to the world. The military-industrial complex needs a war, any war to keep schlepping bombs and bullets.
***
Russert came to this interview with an agenda. He has treated Dr Paul as a joke from the beginning and was trying to prove himself right. He acted bored, avoided all eye contact, asked loaded questions, and quibbled over details rather than focusing on broad policy. Dr. Paul held his own, but I expected more professionalism out of Russert.
****
Call this what you will but I turned on Meet the Press in Boston at exactly 10:30 only to find that the station was having “technical difficulties”. Its funny that I probably could have left this channel running on my TV for a month and there would have been no interuptions. Funny how that happened exactly at that time….just enough time to allow for a few thousand New Hampshire primary voters to switch to another station.

The Neo Cons have put Israel first for far too long. It is time for a real patriot like Ron Paul to become president. With Dr. Paul as president, we would be sure to have someone who put America first, second and third. Continued welfare to an apartheid state like Israel is against US national security interests. Nelson mandella, Desmond Tutu.. people who know say Israel is an apartheid state. RP 08′
***
Ron Paul is now being attacked by the zionist controlled mass media. They are going after him because he does not want to continue giving welfare to Apartheid Israel. They are going after him because he will not sell American interests out to anyone for any reason. Ron Paul is a true American who wants to bring the Constitution back. He wants to uphold the ideals of the founders. RP 08′

To paraphrase Hillary Clinton, it takes a federal bureaucracy to raise a child. This is especially true when the child’s father is a deadbeat dad who owes their mom tens of thousands of dollars in child support. Isn’t that right, Anthony Rodham?
Shrillary’s brother Anthony Rotten owes his blushing bride $158,000 in child support and alimony.

Thursday, December 20th, 2007
I received this funny note from Randy from DBKP, about some reaction to my post:
More fake liberal outrage: The Rehabilitation of Duane “Dog” Chapman
So I guess you’re a white supremacist!
NOT only that, but you’re also a “special person”
( we’ve suspected that since we started reading you)
It takes a special person to attack me for questioning Roy Innis’ recent record while making an “n-word” joke as the visual focus of the same post.
Any site (Political Party Poop) that refers to the awewsome and very well educated Rachel Maddow as a “liberal skank” has no credibility - as well as being misognyistic. And this:”Political Party Poop is the best source on the net for negro conservative news, views, & opinions”"Negro?” - hello? (and this individual claims to be black?)

I don’t want to say anything, but who the fuck is Political Party Poop’s Snoop ? Does anyone really care what
a nutcase like this has to say about anything? Unfortunately I clicked on that site, a perfect site for deranged right-wing assholes. Pardon my language…

I never watched “Dog”, I don’t watch Fox, I don’t care who Innis is, I read all of the posts involved.DBKP and Poop got nothing but right-wing radical agendas going on.What these MORONS seem to miss is that while most liberals WANT to be color blind, we can’t afford to be. If we were to let the power base of white, Christian, men go about their business and not make them accept people that are different, we would end up going back in time to the days of “separate but equal.”Believe me, I want nothing more than for my daughter to grow up and not give a rat’s behind about the person sitting next to her at work, in a restaurant, at college, on the bus, or wherever. The problem with this Utopian view is that there are people out there in the REAL world that don’t hope for the same things I do.They want all people that are not white Christians to simply disappear. We do not fight for equal rights because we see people as “pets”, we fight for equal rights because we know it is the only way that we can change the attitudes of the fearful, bigoted, racist people in this country.Once we make sure that ALL people are seen as just that — people — then we can claim victory and move on.Until then, keep beating the drums, exposing the hypocrisy, calling out the bigots, and shining light into the dark corners of the racist community.Ellen? It is said that when they go after you, you must be doing something right. Here’s to the chase.
cheersyeah…
What bothers me about that article is that the writer does exactly what he accuses Ellen of doing, two passages from that rant are notable:
“What most folks always forget when engaging in the discussion of race is that virtually all liberal white people see most minorities, and in particular black folks, as pets.”
and
“No flags or swastikas to identify them, but we can still spot them. Just look for more articles written by the Ellen’s of the world.”
I remember Ellen mentioning once that she was Jewish, so in view of that those two statements are even more repulsive.
I haven’t always gotten along with Ellen, mostly over what comments are allowed to stay and those that got deleted. But not once have I questioned her sincerity and her convictions. That’s what keeps me coming back here.
One final comment, Ellen or anybody here has never questioned Roy Innis’ contributions, but is it possible that even the great Roy Innis might be wrong from time to time?

Was It All A Dream?
Thursday, December 20th, 2007From The Phoenix
In the most-watched speech of his political career, speaking on “Faith in America” at College Station, Texas, earlier this month, Mitt Romney evoked the strongest of all symbolic claims to civil-rights credentials: “I saw my father march with Martin Luther King.”He has repeated the claim several times recently, most prominently to Tim Russert on Meet the Press . But, while the late George W. Romney, a four-term governor of Michigan, can lay claim to a strong record on civil rights, the Phoenix can find no evidence that the senior Romney actually marched with King, nor anything in the public record suggesting that he ever claimed to do so.Nor did Mitt Romney ever previously claim that this took place, until long after his father passed away in 1995 — not even when defending accusations of the Mormon church’s discriminatory past during his 1994 Senate campaign.
Asked about the specifics of George Romney’s march with MLK, Mitt Romney’s campaign told the Phoenix that it took place in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. That jibes with the description proffered by David S. Broder in a Washington Post column written days after Mitt’s College Station speech.
Broder, in that column, references a 1967 book he co-authored on the Republican Party, which included a chapter on George Romney. It includes a one-line statement that the senior Romney “has marched with Martin Luther King through the exclusive Grosse Pointe suburb of Detroit.”
But that account is incorrect. King never marched in Grosse Pointe, according to the Grosse Pointe Historical Society, and had not appeared in the town at all at the time the Broder book was published. “I’m quite certain of that,” says Suzy Berschback, curator of the Grosse Pointe Historical Society. (Border was not immediately available for comment.)
Berschback also believes that George Romney never appeared at a protest, march, or rally in Grosse Pointe. “We’re a small town,” she says. “Governors don’t come here very often, except for fundraisers.”
In fact, King’s only appearance in Grosse Pointe, according to Berschback, took place after Broder’s book was published.
That was for a March 14 speech he delivered at Grosse Pointe High School, just three weeks before King was assassinated. But there was no march, and George Romney was not there.

Romney fields questions on King - Campaign says claim not literal
Quick rant!Man I’m just amazed. Amazed at just how astonishing ignorant the voting public is today. It’s obvious that some of you folks don’t give a shit about the future of this country.
Look who is leading in the polls on both sides of the political divide:
- A crackpot religious zealot.
- A confused conniving woman where her only claim to fame is that she sometimes screwed a former president.
- A liberal ex-mayor who took advantage of the fact that terrorist decided to strike his particular city.
- A habitual liar Mormon who routinely lies about everything.
- A man with virtually no record, routinely touted as an empty suit, who still has yet to articulate his stances on the issues and his biggest claim to fame is that a famous talk show host endorses him.
- A total fraud of a man, who very likely sacrificed his campaign because he chooses to screw some skank bimbo groupie despite the fact that is Cancer stricken wife works hard on his campaign.
- And the leading internet money pimp is a weasel sounding closet anti-Semite, who amazingly is still raising shit loads of money from internet geeks despite the fact that he is ZERO chance at capturing the Republican nomination.
Oh don’t get mad people, Don’t start calling me names, and accusing me of being unfair and biased. If I’m making any of this up, please feel free to comment or send me an e-mail. I will post your full responses on the top of this blog and will issue a genuine apology.
I’m just ranting but it seems like every day we get revelations like this MLK march lie from the Romney camp and it does not seem to matter. You fucken sheep will still support these moronic people to run this nation.
Unfortunately you have someone like Duncan Hunter, who clearly is a better candidate that any of these individuals is barely registering in the polls and campaign contributions.
Forget about my favorite candidate, he will be ok in the long, run. I don’t buy into the doom and gloom bullshit I read.
All of this information available to you people on these frauds but somehow they still get your support.
All I can say is wow!
Hunter for defending the fence

A conservative counter-revolution is breaking out in the talk radio universe and on prominent conservative blogs. The same forces that joined to force the White House to withdraw Harriett Miers’ Supreme Court nomination, a tender by the president that was as explicitly grounded in Miers’ identity as a born again evangelical as Huckabee’s presidential campaign surge is based on his choice of career and religious affiliation.
Rush Limbaugh, still the most listened-to talk radio host on the planet, has taken to calling Huckabee the “Huckster.” Not even Mitt Romney, in his most profane of moments, goes there.
Limbaugh theorizes that the media is rooting for Huckabee because they know he’s the kiss of death in the general election. And he has compared Huckabee unfavorably to Jimmy Carter — as a snake oil salesman in Southern Baptist garb who later sold his soul to liberals.
On the major conservative blog sites, Huckabee has almost no proud partisans; even the Club for Growth, perhaps Huckabee’s biggest critic, has quietly receded into the background, allowing others to take up the attacks. Some conservative bloggers are suggesting that the only thing Huckabee’s good for — or bad for — is a brokered convention.
Other conservative intellectuals have taken to arguing that he can never unite economic conservatives and national security conservatives, and that, in some ways, Hillary Clinton’s instincts on defense policy might be better than the other man from Hope’s
So far, these bad feelings haven’t filtered down the chain of tissue to Iowa Republicans, but is there a cause, in recent memory, that the conservative echosphere hasn’t influenced?
