A guide on how not to get your ass kicked (or tased) by the police.

This from Hot Air

Starts slow but the initial demand for license and registration contains just enough ‘tude to make it worth watching in full. If you can’t be bothered, skip ahead to 2:00 or (-8:00 if you’re counting down) and see what happens when electricity is introduced into the mix of an ornery cop, a driver who doesn’t take him seriously, and his pregnant wife. The investigation’s already begun:

The Utah Highway Patrol has a nine-page policy on Taser use, including in instances where “a subject is threatening himself, an officer or another person with physical force, and when other means of controlling the subject are unreasonable or could cause injury to the officer, the subject or others,” Nigbur said.

Any threat of injury to the officer here?

Maybe it’s just me but I have never understood how you white folks get away with talking to the police the way you do. Y’all I guess have this imaginary get out of jail free card which allows you to act like a fool when encountering members of the law enforcement community.

Well in case some of you have been under a rock and have not seen the video by Chris Rock “A guide on how not to get your ass kicked (or tased) by the police.

A little education can go a long way.

With all due respect, you’re dream-worlding again.

Ask a cop how many times he gets “racial profiling” screamed at them. Or how many times black cops get “help a brother out” or “uncle Tom.” Then talk about how white people are always the rude ones. Yes, a great deal of whites can be assholes. Cops take far more grief than I think they should. Screw being polite to lawbreakers. WE should DAILY thank them for their tolerance. But make no mistake that many a black driver, and always the worst of the worst, knows to pull the race card and the ins and outs of putting permanent complaints in the cop’s file because they didn’t like getting a ticket.

The rule for ALL drivers is and should be, be polite, especially if you’ve committed the damn crime in the first place.

The reason you don’t realize the reality of what they deal with is because you are a respectful, good person who likely doesn’t give them shit, and then you watch these videos. I assure you, they aren’t dealing with you when they’re pulling most people of any color over.

I was kinda yanking folks chains with this one.

Me I have never, EVER had a problem with the police as an adult. Yes the incidents as a child were different, but
this guys situation, I just don’t think it’s worth it to act like an ass. Take the fucken ticket and go on with your life.
