Heather Mac Donald on the Jena 6

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

Found on Michelle Malkin

Heather Mac Donald, one of America’s most penetrating writers on race, culture, and crime, looks beyond the Jena Six theatrics and tells unvarnished truths:

jena6a.jpgThe race industry will try to keep Jena in the media and political spotlight for as long as possible, and to reinforce the notion that this episode exemplifies blacks’ situation in America. But if there were many other instances of (arguable) overcharging for black crime, we would have heard about them by now. The orgy of Jena coverage will not just fail to improve the lagging performance of blacks; it will impede such improvement by strengthening the victim mentality. Both whites and blacks are complicit in this sabotage. These ecstatic festivals of racism-bashing are a crippling ritual in the codependency between absolution-seeking whites and angry blacks, a phenomenon that Shelby Steele has powerfully analyzed. The demonstrators exhibit a palpable desire for the moral clarity of the civil rights era, as do the reporters, who have covered their every utterance. “This is the first time something like this has happened for our generation,” one student told the New York Times. “You always heard about it from history books and relatives. This is a chance to experience it for ourselves.”

He’s right; there has been nothing like Selma or Montgomery for the current generation, because much of America has accomplished almost an about-face on race since the 1950s. The current martyrs to American bigotry are a far cry from Rosa Parks. Like the “Jena Six,” they tend to have committed acts of violence or other crimes for which they are allegedly being excessively punished. Think of the six high school hooligans from Decatur, Illinois, whom Jesse Jackson tried to beatify in 1999 when their schools expelled them for a violent stadium fight; their backgrounds included robbery, trespassing, truancy, and failing whole school years. We are only belatedly learning that Mychal Bell, the sole member of the “Jena Six” to have been prosecuted for knocking out and kicking Justin Barker, has a previous arrest record that includes battery and property damage. Barker’s injuries led to $14,000 in medical bills, according to a lawyer.

The Jena situation is undoubtedly a bit more complex than the tale that the press has woven of hate-filled whites and peace-loving blacks. But even if it were not, the catharsis that this morality play has offered to its participants is spurious. The real tragedy is the dysfunctional culture that holds back too many blacks from seizing the many opportunities open to them.

The Ugly Side of Another Failed Black Democrat

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

vent3.jpg

From Gateway Pundit

On July 30th 1866:

White Democrats, led by police, attacked a convention of Black and white Republicans in New Orleans. More than 40 persons were killed, and at least 150 were wounded. Gen. Philip H. Sheridan, Military commander of the state, said, “It was not riot; it was an absolute massacre…which the mayor and the police of the city perpetrated without the shadow of a necessity.”

Those ugly democratic attacks continue to this day.
At The New York Times today, another failed black leader, Bob Herbert, attempts to rewrite history with his ugly hit piece “The Ugly Side of the G.O.P.” . And, of course, MoveOn.org’s favorite discount rag is more than happy to push the democratic line:

I applaud the thousands of people, many of them poor, who traveled from around the country to protest in Jena, La., last week. But what I’d really like to see is a million angry protesters marching on the headquarters of the National Republican Party in Washington.

The G.O.P. has spent the last 40 years insulting, disenfranchising and otherwise stomping on the interests of black Americans…

…Republicans improperly threw black voters off the rolls in Florida in the contested presidential election of 2000, and sent Florida state troopers into the homes of black voters to intimidate them in 2004.

Blacks have been remarkably quiet about this sustained mistreatment by the Republican Party, which says a great deal about the quality of black leadership in the U.S. It’s time for that passive, masochistic posture to end.

Of course, Herbert has no facts to back up his liberal talking points.
If Herbert was honest at all, maybe he would report which party has really helped the blacks in this country.
Deroy Murdock wrote a brilliant history lesson at National Review that Herbert ought to read some time. Not only does Murdoch go over the numerous lynchings, murder and violent attacks on blacks by democrats, but he adds these facts that Herbert failed to mention in his liberal smack piece today:

French Foreign Minister Calls Code Pink ‘Stupid’ During Interruption

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007
batwoman.jpgFrom the blog Amy Proctor, I’m telling you these women in Code Pink have some serious mental health issues.
It’s almost sad to watch them make complete asses of themselves in very public forums.****

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, who last week said ”We must prepare for the worst” against Iran (referring to war), addressed Center for Strategic and International Studies where he was interrupted by (sigh, who else..) Code Pink.

Michael Scheuer of the CIA Bin Laden Unit is an Idiot

Monday, September 24th, 2007

From the blog Planck’s Constant

On Friday Bill Maher interviewed Michael Scheuer via satellite. The former head of the CIA’s Bin Laden Unit has a new book coming out called Marching Toward Hell: America and Islam After Iraq. It is amazing that this man actually worked for the CIA and still has no clue about the threats facing America:

moonbat2a1.JPGMichael Scheuer : What Bin Laden basically said is that America is fighting a war that doesn’t exist. We’re fighting because our leaders tell us that the Muslims hate freedom and hate liberty and hate women in the work place. And that’s got nothing to do with it. It has everything to do with what we do in the Islamic world, what our policies are and what our impact is there. And that’s what Bin Laden was referring to. That’s what my book says.

What a moron. Before there was an American policy in the Middle East, before we did anything in the Islamic world to insult them, before there was an Israel, Muslims were attacking American ships over two hundred years ago. The newly created country of the United States of America paid $30,000 in tribute (what the Mafia calls protection money) each year for protection against attack. Full details can be found here. That this idiot has no inkling of history is rather startling but understandable since Maher likes to have anyone on who has bad words to say about the Iraq War.

Looney Liberal Rant: “Why we’re existing in a police state.”

Monday, September 24th, 2007

superretard.jpg

By Archangel M - The Daily Kos - Post Link

The recent assault, torture and arrest of University of Florida student Andrew Myer by campus cops is but the latest example of what has become an increasingly frequent phenomenon in the United States of America. When ass-kissing chickenshit David Petraeus lied his ass off before Congress about the failed “surge”, capitol hill police tackled and arrested a pentecostal minister, damaging his ankle in the process. His “crime”? Trying to get in to watch and listen to the hearings.

As reported in the Nation magazine, sixty-year old Carol Trainer — a Vietnam veteran — was arrested and hauled away as the mayor of Louisville, Kentucky sat and glared at her.

looneyleft1.jpgLast November, a student at UCLA was assaulted, tasered and arrested by campus cops, for failing to show his identification. A blogger who wrote about this abuse of power also pointed out how, in Houston, Texas that same month, a bunch of striking union workers were trampled by police on horseback, arrested, and subjected to what amounts to torture.

If you think America isn’t undergoing the same slide into fascist dictatorship today as Germany did in the 1930s, you’re kidding yourself. Each of the six examples of police brutality I cited, all of them against nonviolent students and protesters, has taken place within a roughly ten-month period. But where is the outrage in the mainstream media? Why aren’t the steps of the Capitol Building and the gates of the White House being flooded with protesters demanding accountability for abuses of executive power that has so permeated society that it infects our local police departments?

And therein lies one reason why this is happening. Although there has been some dissent, some outrage, it has been largely confined to the blogosphere and political discussion forums. People dare not stand up publicly against these police state tactics to silence dissent. They dare not risk being beaten down. Another reason, pointed out by the Rude Pundit, is that there are those in American society who not only actually approve of this shit, but go so far as to cheer it on! “Yeah!” they think. “Show them what they get for stepping out of line!”

Those two reasons, more than the brutal assaults on people and the First Amendment, are why America is devolving into a bad replay of Nazi Germany. The lack of national outrage, to the point we do something about it; and the support of it by mindless groupthinkers in society who are so stupid they think it’s a good thing that we’re being subjected to tyranny.

God help us all.

Warning! Snoop rant:

protest82.jpgOk this is funny, after reading this it reminded me of Ahmadinejad’s recently completed incoherent propaganda rant.

All hell, how many times and how many ways can I say “liberals have issues!”

Again this is an example of not necessarily giving a shit about what this moronic dude has to say only to point out the exorbitant level of ill logic exhibited by these people.

The bad thing about the Daily Kos site these days is there are so many of these people writing diaries and I believe that in order to get noticed they write crazier and zanier entries ranting like little children in order to get attention.

It’s one thing to have a valid political point, it is quite another to pull out the vestiges of a truly evil time period where the shadow of a murderous dictator loomed over the entire world.

Here we have some young jackass supposedly educating the rest of us dolts, no doubt living with his parents or barricaded in some college dorm or dank dark apartment complete with video games galore and no doubt the latest Halo, stale pizza, cigarette butts acting as carpeting reeking with the stench of your typical discharge accident from too much alcohol consumption.

I’m a 43 year old black man and it would be disingenuous of me to write entries talking about the evils that existed back in the true Jim Crow era, whites only signs, segregated hotels, restaurants, drinking fountains or to try and process the pending threat that was Hitler and communism.
How the fuck could some young mentally challenged individual even begin to process the notion that America is slipping into this fascist state, when I just finished watching some pinhead moronic dictator speak at one of this nations most prestigious universities not to mention that the event was simulcast on FOX NEWS!

The University of Florida student was a prankster and a typical college aged jackass, brash, arrogant spoiled pricks. I see all too often these self-absorbed frat boy sorostitutes types wandering the university grounds, cell phones stuck to the ear paying little or no attention to the world around them or that car about the strike them.
This generation of emotionally challenged individuals find it difficult to respect those outside of their entourage.
As much as I detest John Kerry, he and that audience deserved respect, but college aged pranksters have hindered free speech by acting like a bunch of ignorant fucks which is precisely why few right leaning types venture to college campuses anymore.
Foolish and moronic behavior is the norm.

Here in Lawrence we have an institution where national and world leaders not to mention prominent political figures and Pulitzer Prize winning columnists regularly speak and the only time you see students attending is when they are offered “extra credit” or some incentive for attending.
When the speaker does not fit the typical liberal ideology the talk is ether ignored or some phony protest with the stereotypical passing out of “fact” sheets with erroneous information.
Liberals are not interested in acquiring knowledge only promoting their twisted spin on the world and crying when the would does not fit in their little bow wrapped gift box.

I’ll give you one example: Recently while speaking to a student, very nice young lady, smart, motivated in the process of getting her masters, we were discussing Iraq and setting aside the particulars the point I want to focus on was she said she “hated George Bush for getting us into this war.”
Now I never want to get into a debate on the semantics of whether or not we should or should not be in Iraq with folks, what I always focus on when speaking to a young person is “when does your history on Iraq begin?”
You see to me if you want to tell me we should not have been in Iraq, and only want to focus on the history while G Dub has been in office and totally ignore anything prior to G Dub taking office, there is nothing to discuss.
This young lady is 24 and knows nothing about what was said prior to Bush’s presidency.
There are tons of clips on You Tube feature Mrs. Bill’s ever changing stance on Iraq and virtually every Democrat morphing views on the issue.lawdc011sm.jpg
All I asked of her was to truly study the issue. While listening to her all she could do was regurgitate Democrat clichés, she was ridiculously clueless on the issue other that what she read in the New York Times (she said it) or what was discussed in her political science class.

The point is do liberal choose to be ignorant of all the facts. Many choose not to acknowledge what was said before or simply choose to only put political blame on a policy that no one individual can carry out.

Liberals selective ranting is all political. Think about it. If you believe in gay marriage and you somehow think that by berating the current president on an issue that you really don’t give a shit about, can get you closer to electing an individual with your political values, then why not join the “Iraq is wrong, impeach Bush” bullshit.
Who cares if pussy ass Democrats doesn’t have the balls to stop funding.

Bottom line when you read liberals rant about whatever, you always have to ask yourself what is their real motive?

Referring to a 4 star general as an “ass-kissing chickenshit” tells you everything you need to know about the absence of logic that exists in the minds of most young liberals today.

This dude is unlikely to give a shit about the growing fascist state of America while attending a pep rally for his favorite college sports team or licking the tequila and salt off the stomach of some skank in a bar.

Keep in mind that the Democrats actually courts this twisted moronic demographic.

I will scan through it after I finish listening to Rush, but this man is a human train wreck.
The first part of his speech is a bunch of religious rambling bullshit.
He clearly is not responding to what Columbia has to say, he is resigned to simply spewing a bunch of propaganda psychobabble
Also whoever is translating his speech sucks ass. She is irritating.
Damm they could not find a decent translator for this event?

The statements made by the Columbia president were dead on and made the fact that this jackass is speaking worth it.

Alleged Attack Against 13-Year-Old Virginia Boy Caught on Tape

Monday, September 24th, 2007

Now this is funny, I have tried to find more writings on this story but can hardly find it anywhere, it’s as if the story never happened and it was caught on tape!

Local news link

(link) Police in Norfolk, Va., are investigating whether an alleged attack against a 13-year-old boy that witnesses caught on tape Saturday was racially motivated, WAVY-TV reported Monday. The tape shows the victim, Damien O’Rourke, who is white, being violently beaten by a group of African American teenagers. According to the report, Damie and his mother, Reesha Price, said the fight was unprovoked and believe Damien was attacked because he is white.

Damien said he was attacked while going to meet friends to play football. Price told WAVY-TV that she found her badly beaten son just blocks from her home after receiving a phone call alerting her to the attack Saturday afternoon.

The family had just recently moved to the Norfolk area, WAVY-TV reported. Damien said one of his alleged attackers was among a group of students at his school that mistreated him because he was the new kid. Price told WAVY-TV that she now fears her son is being targeted because of his race.

Norfolk police reportedly told WAVY-TV that their gang unit will be investigating the case.

Islamofascism Awareness Week

Monday, September 24th, 2007

Ok, I’m a bit tardy in blogging today, a bit out of it, I need some coffee and I still have a slight hangover from the loss of my 49ers.

Anywho, I have been reading and watching the TC coverage of moronic leader from Iran and Columbia’s invitation to allow this dickhead to speak on their campus.

Ya know I just can’t get that outraged over his visit, most academic institutions of higher learning certainly would love to have a thug dictator come and visit their campus. He is one of them. Columbia simply has the prestige and frankly the balls to pull it off.

I was watching some students on TV last night actually welcoming and looking forward to hearing what he has to say. While watching these ridiculously moronic students give their reasons for welcoming him I am simply reminded that these jackasses will be the leaders of tomorrow, they are the Mr. and Mrs. Bill’s of the future.

These chronic liberals skulls full of mush actually believe that vile dictators like Ahmadinejad can be bargained with, reasoned with and that meaningful dialogue, learning and happy talk will make things all better.

I swear folks all I can do is smile and thank God almighty, I am not a liberal.
It may seem like a small thing or even a trivial thing, but anybody who actually is incapable of seeing through Ahmadinejad bullshit, while at the same time totally ignoring the lunacy that goes on in Iran and what his ultimate goals are need serious mental health counseling.

Considering what I just said, check this out from Moonbattery: Daily Kos Writer Admits to “Crush” on Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

ahmadinejad.jpg

From Sister Toldjah

As NYC prepares for numerous protests against Iran’s Islamofascist “leader”’s speaking engagement at Columbia U, conservatives on college campuses across the country are busy preparing for Islamofascism Awareness Week:

Beginning on October 22, student groups across the nation will hold Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week on their campuses. These protest weeks will feature a series of events designed to bring a message to these academic communities that challenges most of what students are taught about the so-called War on Terror both in the classroom and on the quad.

islamofascismawarenessweek.gifThe Week’s events will include speeches about Islamo-Fascism by prominent figures, including former Senator Rick Santorum (Penn State, Temple and UPenn), Sean Hannity (Columbia), Ann Coulter (Tulane and USC), Dennis Prager (UC Santa Barbara), Robert Spencer (Brown, Dartmouth, University of Rhode Island, and DePaul), Daniel Pipes (Northeastern and UPenn), David Horowitz (Columbia, Emory, Ohio State, Michigan and Wisconsin), Michael Ledeen (Maryland), Nonie Darwish (UCLA and Berkeley), Wafa Sultan (Stanford) and radio talk show hosts Melanie Morgan (San Francisco State), Michael Medved (University of Washington), Martha Zoeller (Georgia Tech), Alan Nathan (George Mason), Mark Larson (to be named) and many others.

A major theme of the Week will be the oppression of women in Islam. The photo accompanying this article, which shows a teenage girl buried before being stoned to death for alleged sexual offenses, will serve as the poster for the protest Week. The stoning took place in Iran.

Catholic nun being frisked by a Muslim security agent

Monday, September 24th, 2007

From Michelle Malkin:

 From the photograher, Dean Shaddock:

This was captured as I collected my things from airport security (Detroit Metro Concourse A). I think of it as something like a Rorschach test. Is an elderly Catholic nun being frisked by a Muslim security agent the celebration of blind justice? Or is it simply an admission of absurdity?

nunfrisk.jpg

Robert Spencer weighs in: “Of course there should be random searches, and no one should be exempt — if any group is exempt, its dress will soon be adopted by the terrorists. But there is an absurdity to this photo. And a hint that maybe we would do better devoting our resources to searching those who are more likely to be threats — were that not so politically incorrect.”

‘BRADY’ STAR’S STEAMY SEX WITH TV SIS JANStory Link

bradybunch1a.jpgHere’s the story - of a Sapphic love affair?”Brady Bunch” star Maureen McCormick - who played the TV family’s oldest girl Marcia Brady - will reveal in a new tell-all book how she had a steamy on-set sexual relationship with the co-star who played her younger sister Jan.

The book, titled “Here’s the Story,” will detail how a small crush blossomed into a romantic and physically intimate relationship between McCormick and Eve Plumb, according to published reports.

Due out next year on HarperCollins imprint William Morrow, the bombshell biography will also touch on topics such as McCormick’s battles with bulimia, cocaine addiction and depression.

But what will likely shock most fans of the 1970s hit TV series are the details of the budding love affair between the two co-stars who played the highly competitive sisters.

It’s not the first time salacious details of behind-the-scenes sex have emerged in the years since the campy classic went off the air.

In 1992, co-star Barry Williams, who played Greg Brady, wrote in his tell-all tome, “Growing Up Brady,” how he dated not only his on-screen mom, Florence Henderson, but engaged in several romps with McCormick as well.

And in 1997, McCormick hinted at a lesbian tryst between her and Plumb when she told a Los Angeles radio host about the crush she developed for Plumb while the two worked closely on the smash series that ran from 1969-1974.

“We had really good times together,” she playfully said at the time.

When asked if that meant the two had been “pattycake close or Ellen DeGeneres close,” McCormick coyly revealed the two had swapped spit.

“Yeah, we kissed,” she said.

Her publicist later clarified that she meant simply on the cheek.

But all the while, McCormick - like many of her young co-stars - was under serious emotional stress trying to balance her TV fame with the strains of being a teenager.

Now 51, McCormick is married with an 18-year-old daughter and lives in Southern California.

Snoop Rants: Blacks, the GOP, whitey sucks!

Friday, September 21st, 2007

democratlogo1a.JPGOk, I’m gonna use this GOP should “woo” blacks” bullshit article below and the Donavan McNabb “black quarterbacks are under more scrutiny” bullshit article as reference sources for this rant.

First, what can I say about my man Donavan, if you have not heard about his whining like a little bitch, read article here.
Ranting like a typical Negro with nauseating levels of self-pity and victimhood, it’s just pathetic. As I have stated numerous times I’m again embarrassed, I know I did not say that stupid shit and can’t process that level of moronic thinking, but as a “brotha” it just bothers you in the gut, because all darkies suffer at the hands of such ill logic and
Self-pity. It’s a bad role model for young black men in an era where black male role models are hard to find.

He or course plays the blame-whitey card a popular play in today’s Negro world.
The black subculture and our attachment to it is very strong, and blame-whitey habits die hard or hardly die.

Now let me be very clear, you will NEVER hear me say that racism per se doesn’t exist, I’ve given my numerous examples, however Negros everywhere need to be encouraged to understand what they’re capable of despite racism.
Racism, in whatever form, is not “holding us back.” At this point in history, it is a sad reminder of how it held back many, and its residual effects will live on. Racism and bigotry are not “white” traits, however. They’re human traits. The next time you call a white person a “racist bigot,” stop and examine yourself. Someone somewhere can truthfully say the same about you.
I’m certain those who read many of my rants that I’m a racist SOB, LOL!

The GOP Negro Tent

First if you are like me a hard right leaning type the notion that the GOP should actively “woo” Negros under the GOP tent is a ridiculous notion.
I’ll ask the obvious question you white folks would love to ask your average Negro you meet. Just what issues are “specifically” black issues?

Now I’m a reasonable smart dude, (on occasion) but I have yet to read a coherent answer to this complex quandary.

  • Let me guess, WELFARE, hell I don’t know, a greater proportion of Negros are on welfare, so is the issue in the Negro community will be “am I gonna get my check?”
  • Ok let try CRIME, “if I smoke crack, or pop a cap in yo ass, am I going to jail or skate like O.J.?”
  • Ok, JOBS, “I know I did not finish, junior high school, but can you hook a brotha up with a job payin’ one fiddy and hour or so?” or “we need to raise that minimum wage again”

The GOP tent issue will never be an option for the mass majority of Negros throughout America, EVER, because Negros must make a choice not to be pawns of idiot Democrat race baiting hysterical thinking.

As long as Negros insist on being hyphenated Americans, assuming that racism causes black failure (Mr. McNabb), cry about the incarceration rates of Negros when Negros can’t even get together at an awards show without getting into a fight, refuse to get an education, stop having babies left and right, calling black women bitches, and waist their hours and their money on trivial bullshit.

Now, GOP candidates can’t go to gatherings with an abundance of Negros in the audience and chastise Negros for their irrational logic.  So why attend any debates and try to pacify an audience that won’t vote for you anyway?

Black folks instead of encouraging education, law-abiding behavior, developing good financial practices and competitive businesses, the predictable response is to drag down standards for Negros so they are judged separately.

Why would the GOP court such nonsense? Stupidity is not a political platform I want to get behind or support. For Democrats that mindset is fine with them, because few Democrats are truly concerned about the general welfare and survival of Negros in this country, only that votes are delivered in a timely manner.
Far too many Negros rarely understand the concept of individualism and self-reliance, that obligatory finger is always pointed outward at someone else, AT YOU WHITEY!

The assumption that the concept of individualism is “mean-spirited,” black people are sometimes afraid to compete and fail, (McNabb) so they hide behind their skin. It’s true that during slavery and legal segregation, a collective mind-set may have been necessary for our survival. But times have changed, and some old things should pass away.

The sad reality is racism becomes a mitigating circumstance for black criminals, banks disregard qualifications and risk money on blacks with bad credit because it’s “racist” to require them to have good credit, and the government, charged with treating citizens equally before the law, create set-asides for black-owned businesses so they can get a “fair share” of the city’s business. At the same time otherwise intelligent people think all this is “fair.” as if to say to whitey, you owe us!

We fail to process that collective pigmentation grievances hold people back, not move them forward. Being handed a race-based entitlement (especially from the government) is no different to me than being handed a rotten steak served on a garbage can lid.

Individualism doesn’t mean you don’t help others. It means rather than turning to the government for handouts and solutions, you use your own mind, creativity, ingenuity, and Buddy Jesus given talents to help others and yourself.

The Negro Democratic Plantation is a secure domain, (geek lingo) represented by powerful leaders with influential voices. Being a Negro with an independent voice and mindset is difficult and tough for many to deal with.
I’ve been referred to as an Uncle Tom a sellout and an 80 year old white women and old white man (seriously), but I find it amusing and quickly tell those with that opinion to kiss my black ass.

I am hardly a GOP toady, I am not in politics, I do not work for nor have I ever worked for a political campaign, don’t belong to any political or social organizations, I’m hardly a media person, my shitty typing confirms that, I’m not paid to blog, nor do I make a penny off of blogging or any other media activity.
So what the fuck would be my motivation?

As for the GOP and “wooing” Negros I’m not sure if the GOP will ever be able to turn the tide in any significant manner. More prominent Negros are surfacing on the political scene, but until you see a significant turnaround in the number of black folks actively working within the party system, prominently featured in the campaigns of high profile white GOP candidates, prominently featured on news pundit shows representing GOP interests and platforms or more importantly credible black GOP candidates, black folks will continue to turn a deaf ear to the GOP message no matter how enticing.

Bush urges GOP to woo blacks

Friday, September 21st, 2007

blackgop.jpg.

By David Nitkin Sun reporterWASHINGTON (Link)

President Bush urged Republican presidential candidates to actively seek support from black voters, addressing concerns yesterday over the decision by his party’s top contenders to skip a nationally televised debate next week at Morgan State University.

During a White House news conference, Bush stopped short of calling on Rudolph W. Giuliani, John McCain, Mitt Romney and Fred Thompson to participate in Thursday’s forum at the historically black school in Baltimore, which is to focus on minority issues. But he said his party could boast of economic progress for blacks and other groups.

“My advice to whomever will be our nominee is to reach out to the African-American community, as well as other communities,” Bush said. “I believe that we’ve got a very strong record when it comes to empowerment, when it comes to education or homeownership or small-business formation.”

The Republican Party has tried and failed repeatedly in recent decades to expand its appeal to black and Hispanic voters. Most recently, the effort foundered after the federal government’s poor response to Hurricane Katrina, which pummeled predominantly black communities along the Gulf of Mexico. The immigration views of many Republican leaders also have dampened the outreach effort.

“The GOP has proved time and again that they are afraid to talk to anyone who doesn’t agree with them,” said Amaya Smith, a spokeswoman for the Democratic National Committee.

Talk-show host Tavis Smiley, lead organizer of the Baltimore debate, which is being broadcast on PBS, has castigated the top Republican presidential candidates for not agreeing to appear. Their campaigns have cited scheduling conflicts and fundraising obligations.

No person should be elected president, Smiley said in a radio commentary this week, if they “avoid people of color.”

In a letter yesterday, Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, a Baltimore Democrat, urged Republican Party leaders to “utilize your good offices” to encourage all candidates to attend the debate.

“It’s actually insulting,” Cummings, a Morgan State regent, said in an interview. “They need to put aside whatever their issues are about appearing before African-American people.”

Bush was asked during his news conference whether race relations in the United States are deteriorating, in light of events such as the arrests of high school students after a brawl in Jena, La., and a noose found hanging from a tree near a building housing African-American programs at the University of Maryland, College Park.

The president ducked the broader question and did not call on the top GOP presidential contenders to alter their campaign plans. He seemed to steer his response to whoever becomes the nominee next year.

“We’ve got a good record to run on,” the president said. “And my advice to our candidate would be to run on it.”

Making his first public comments about the so-called Jena 6, a group of black high school students accused of beating a white classmate after nooses were found on a tree in the schoolyard, Bush said he was “saddened” by the case.

“I understand the emotions,” Bush said. “The Justice Department and the FBI are monitoring the situation down there. And all of us in America want there to be … fairness when it comes to justice.”

41.jpg(WBZ) BOSTON An MIT student with a fake bomb strapped to her chest was arrested at gunpoint Friday at Logan International Airport and later claimed it was artwork, officials said.

Star Simpson, 19, had a computer circuit board and wiring in plain view over a black hooded sweat shirt she was wearing, said State Police Maj. Scott Pare, the commanding officer at the airport.

“She said that it was a piece of art and she wanted to stand out on career day,” Pare said at a news conference. “She claims that it was just art, and that she was proud of the art and she wanted to display it.”

The battery-powered rectangular device had nine flashing lights, he said. Simpson also had Play-Doh in her hands, he said.

The phrases “Socket to me” and “Course VI” were written on the back of sweat shirt, which authorities displayed to the media. Course VI appears to be a reference to MIT’s major of electrical engineering and computer science.

There is more, but why bother, she is another nutty loon liberal, what the hell!?

Shamnesty Watch: Waffling over the DREAM Act

Friday, September 21st, 2007

Also from Malkin

Here’s the latest from Numbers USA on the grass-roots campaign to kill the illegal alien DREAM Act amnesty:

shamnestykill1.jpgSenate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has not announced when a vote will occur on the DREAM Act amnesty amendment (now SA 2919). Reid did announce, however, that no more votes will occur this week, and that the Senate will hold only one vote today on an unrelated defense matter. In other words, any potential vote on SA 2919 will not occur until next week.

It will take 41 NO votes to kill this amnesty. Currently, only 21 Senators are telling their constituents that they will vote NO on the amnesty.

Here are the wafflers who voted no on the illegal alien shamnesty bill in June, but have not yet pledged to vote no on the DREAM Act amnesty.

Phone them by contacting the Senate switchboard at 202-224-3121.

Alaska: Murkowski, Stevens
Arkansas: Pryor
Florida: Martinez
Idaho: Crapo
Indiana: Bayh
Iowa: Grassley, Harkin

North Dakota: Dorgan
Ohio: Voinovich
Oregon: Smith
South Dakota: *Johnson
Texas: Hutchison
Utah: Hatch

Numbers USA says Sen. Cornyn is telling constituents he’s a no (which is consistent with what my readers are saying), but he is apparently not a committed no. That is also consistent with what I’ve heard from readers. Also: I contacted Sen. Cornyn’s office two days ago about his position on the DREAM Act and have yet to receive a response.

Thousands Rally in La. to Support Jena 6

Thursday, September 20th, 2007

My Two Cents first:
One quick note, although this case sparks some outrage because of the racist symbolism exhibited by the nooses and the statements made by the prosecutor, I again am saddened that Jackson and Sharpton are once again shoved to the front of the Negro leader line by the white redneck media.

Yes all of the attention focused by the small bit of racism in this small town pales in comparison to the kinds of crazy bullshit Negros engage in every fucken day.

Negros need to start marching in neighborhoods where drug deals are taking place every minute. These thousands of Negros need to march in front of BET and boycott that network for airing Negro minstrel programs. Also VH1 and MTV for idiot shows like Flavor of Love.

They need to be marching at public schools throughout the country that are failing black students, marching in front of elected officials offices asking why they continue to sell-out the interest of black folks everyday.

Marching against Isiah Thomas for saying it’s acceptable for a black man to call a black woman a bitch, Rap artist for continuing to perpetuate the harsh treatment of women.

Yes as bad as this incident is, a few nooses hung by some hillbilly rednecks and the words of some low rent redneck prosecutor is the least of Negros problems.

After Jena 6, Noose Dangles at Md. College Campus

JENA, La. (AP) - Traffic jammed the two-lane road leading into the tiny town of Jena early Thursday as thousands of demonstrators gathered in support of six black teens initially charged with attempted murder in the beating of a white classmate. The Rev. Al Sharpton said it could be the beginning of the 21st century’s civil rights movement, one that would challenge disparities in the justice system.”You cannot have justice meted out based on who you are rather than what you did,” Sharpton told CBS’s “The Early Show” Thursday.

The six were charged a few months after the local prosecutor declined to charge three white high school students who hung nooses in a tree on their high school grounds. Five of the black teens were initially charged with attempted murder, but that charge was reduced to battery for all but one, who has yet to be arraigned; the sixth teen was charged as a juvenile.“This is the most blatant example of disparity in the justice system that we’ve seen,” Sharpton said Thursday. “You can’t have two standards of justice. We didn’t bring race in it, those that hung the nooses brought the race into it.” lynchingtext.jpgDistrict Attorney Reed Walters, breaking a long public silence, denied Wednesday that racism was involved. He said he didn’t prosecute the students accused of hanging the nooses because he could find no Louisiana law under which they could be charged. “I cannot overemphasize what a villainous act that was. The people that did it should be ashamed of what they unleashed on this town,” Walters said.

In the beating case, he said, four of the defendants were of adult age under Louisiana law and the only juvenile charged as an adult, Mychal Bell, had a prior criminal record.

“This case has been portrayed by the news media as being about race,” he said. “And the fact that it takes place in a small southern town lends itself to that portrayal. But it is not and never has been about race. It is about finding justice for an innocent victim and holding people accountable for their actions.”

The white teen who was beaten, Justin Barker, was knocked unconscious, his face badly swollen and bloodied, though he was able to attend a school function later that night.

Bell, 16 at the time of the attack, is the only one of the “Jena Six” to be tried so far. He was convicted on an aggravated second-degree battery count that could have sent him to prison for 15 years, but the conviction was overturned last week when a state appeals court said he should not have been tried as an adult.

Thursday’s protest had been planned to coincide with Bell’s sentencing, but organizers decided to press ahead even after the conviction was thrown out. Bell remains in jail while prosecutors prepare an appeal. He has been unable to meet the $90,000 bond.

“We all have family members about the age of these guys. We said it could have been one of them. We wanted to try to do something,” said Angela Merrick, 36, of Atlanta, who drove with three friends from Atlanta to protest the treatment of the “Jena Six”.

The rally was heavily promoted on black Web sites, blogs, radio and publications.

Students came from schools across the region, including historically black colleges like Morehouse College, Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University, Howard University, Hampton University and Southern University.

Tina Cheatham missed the civil rights marches at Selma, Montgomery and Little Rock, but she had no intention of missing another brush with history. The 24-year-old Georgia Southern University graduate drove all night to reach tiny Jena in central Louisiana.

“It was a good chance to be part of something historic since I wasn’t around for the civil rights movement. This is kind of the 21st century version of it,” she said.

Others supported the effort but worried that it could erode race relations in Jena even further.

“I don’t think it will cause any major confrontations,” said Odessa Hickman, 72, “but there is probably going to be some friendships lost.”

In Jena, with only 3,500 residents, some residents worried about safety. Hotels were booked from as far away as Natchez, Miss., to Alexandria, La.

Red Cross officials manned first aid stations near the local courthouse and had water and snacks on hand. Portable toilets and flashing street signs to aid in traffic direction were in place. At the courthouse troopers chatted amiably with each other and with demonstrators who began showing up well before dawn.

Sharpton, who helped organize the protest, met Bell at the courthouse Wednesday morning. He said Bell is heartened by the show of support and wants to make sure it stays peaceful.

“He doesn’t want anything done that would disparage his name - no violence, not even a negative word,” Sharpton said.

Isiah Getting “Bitch” Slapped

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

isiahthomas.jpg(Link) Knick honcho Isiah Thomas took it on the chin from the city’s black community yesterday for saying it’s OK for black men to call black women “bitch” and for allegedly using the word “ho.”"These actions are typical of a spoiled person that doesn’t have respect for women,” said City Councilman Leroy Comrie.

Rev. Al Sharpton said there could be no double-standard.

“I am unequivocally against a person of any race, color or creed calling a person a ‘nigger,‘ ‘bitch,’ or ‘ho,’ and further, that no person regardless of his or her race, has the right to make misogynistic or sexist remarks against another person,” he said.

But the most stinging criticism came from black women.

“He should be more responsible than that. Not everybody in the black community speaks and thinks like this,” said Michelle Henry, a 31-year-old medical biller from The Bronx.

Thomas’s alleged use of the derogatory words have come to light as the result of a lawsuit filed by former Knicks vice president Anucha Browne Sanders, who claims she was fired after complaining about Thomas’ behavior.

She says Thomas repeatedly dressed her down as a “fucking bitch” and “ho.” In a taped deposition shown in court, Thomas said while it was unacceptable for white men to call black women a bitch, he found it less wrong when black men say it.

Sanders is demanding $10 million in compensation.

Ok this story is several days old and I did not post anything on this Isiah Thomas story, but honestly people I’m again embarrassed, this is just another example of these stupid ass niggas fucking up things for the rest of us decent black folk.

From Michael Vick, to O.J. now this idiot bastard Thomas, I see these stories on TV and I read them on the web and I’ll tell you sometimes I just feel beat down.

How can you try to defend the indefensible? Every fucking week Negrodom is besieged by the overwhelming and colossal stupidity of black folks, and in particular black men and I have to sit back and watch the white media beat that horse to death continually leaving out the sensible voice of reasonable black people I know are out there.

Because BET is busy airing ghetto mistral shows and black radio hosts are busy chatting about nonsense and commenting on the latest concert tour of some gold tooth Ebonics spewing jackass, black people can’t get information on meaningful topics we are resigned to deal with the superficial aspects of life.

The average black person has no voice; black voices are dominated by black rednecks, ghetto pimps and clueless Negro politicians.

You would think that someone of Isiah Thomas’s stature could understand the gravity of his words particularly since we have dealt with this just a few months ago with the Imus debacle. Silly me.

This is one problem I can’t get my arms around; all I have is this (blog) micro forum to vent my ongoing frustration to the many dozens of people who happen to find their way here.

I need my own radio show; I swear I would be ignorant ass Negros worst nightmare if I were ever to have a mass media format.
I would not totally focus my energies on the idiotic and absurd I would seek to introduce mainstream white America a rational view of black America and to demonstrate that we are not all a bunch of pimp juice drinking, baggy pants wearing incoherent ignorant thugs.

When Reality And Gatekeepers Collide

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

Found the following video and 411 on Ed Driscoll dot com

In the above video, James Taranto discusses the difference between what goes on at the typical “peace protest” versus the staggeringly sanitized version that’s reported in the newspaper. Or as I’ve written before, just compare the photos in Zombietime of any Bay Area protest versus how the event is written up by the Victorian gents in your local newspaper. Of course, it was much easier to keep the gates closed on this sort of thing before the Blogosphere, as Sheila Gribben Liaugminas writes in a terrific piece found via Bob Owens.

Of course, occasionally, a paper gets it right. In his Best of the Web column today, Taranto spots a Sacramento alternative weekly with what sounds like–from the headline on–a pretty accurate description of the left’s busywork activities in DC this weekend. “It’s the feel-good story of the season”, Taranto quips.

Found on the blog: Stuck on Stupid

Washington Post’s attempt at “factchecking” Fred Thompson falls short

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

oops.JPG.

Back on September 7th, Fred Thompson made the following claim about our military:

“If you look back over our history, it will not take you long to realize that our people have shed more blood for other people’s liberty than any other combination of nations in the history of the world.”

For this claim, he was awarded “Four Pinocchios” by Michael Dobbs at the Washington Post’s “FactChecker” blog. Why? Read on:

The number of overall U.S. military casualties, while high, is still relatively low in comparison to those of its World War I and World War II allies. In World War II alone, the Soviet Union suffered at least 8 million casualties, or more than 10 times the number of U.S. casualties for all wars combined. According to Winston Churchill, the Red Army “tore the guts out of the Nazi war machine.” It can be argued that Soviet troops were primarily fighting to free their homeland from Nazi occupation. After fighting its way to Berlin, the Soviet Union imposed its own dictatorship over Eastern Europe. Even so, Soviet sacrifices contributed greatly to the liberation of Western Europe from Nazi domination. Soviet forces died for their own country and their own tyrannical government, but they also spilled blood on behalf of their Western allies.

Jackson criticizes Obama

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

In case you have not heard about the Jena issue:

AUC students rally to support the ‘Jena 6′

Civil ‘Jena Six’ town braces for rally

In Louisiana, a Tree, a Fight and a Question of Justice - New York Times

Protest Set For Racial Beating Case

This is one of the few times I agree with Jessie Jackson. Hussein is acting like a pussy. I have read in great detail about this issue and these black kids are being fucked. Hussein should have been on the first flight down there to take a stand on the issue.
The fact that he is not doing or saying jack says volumes.

Remember Hussein is the man who helped raise money for a former KKK and current nigga hating Democrat Senator Robert Byrd.
The man is gutless.

obama11.jpg(link) The Rev. Jesse Jackson called Tuesday on Democrats seeking the 2008 nomination for president to give S.C. voters “something to vote for” when they go to the polls in January.

On a statewide tour to register new voters, Jackson said South Carolina will determine “who has momentum” in the primary when it votes Jan. 29.

Jackson sharply criticized presidential hopeful and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama for “acting like he’s white” in what Jackson said has been a tepid response to six black juveniles’ arrest on attempted-murder charges in Jena, La. Jackson, who also lives in Illinois, endorsed Obama in March, according to The Associated Press.

“If I were a candidate, I’d be all over Jena,” Jackson said after an hour-long speech at Columbia’s historically black Benedict College.

“Jena is a defining moment, just like Selma was a defining moment,” said the iconic civil rights figure, who worked with Martin Luther King Jr. in the 1965 Selma civil rights movement and was with King at his 1968 assassination.

Later, Jackson said he did not recall making the “acting like he’s white” comment about Obama, stressing he only wanted to point out the candidates had not seized on an opportunity to highlight the disproportionate criminal punishments black youths too often face.

Jackson also said Obama, who consistently has placed second in state and national polls behind New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, must be “bolder” in his political positions if he is to erase Clinton’s lead.

Jackson is the only African-American ever to carry South Carolina in a presidential primary election.

Obama’s South Carolina campaign pointed to a statement it released last week in which Obama called on the local Louisiana district attorney to drop the excessive charges brought in the case.

“When nooses are being hung in high schools in the 21st century, it’s a tragedy,” the Obama statement said. “It shows that we still have a lot of work to do as a nation to heal our racial tensions.”

Thousands from across the country, including some from Columbia, are expected to converge on the small town of Jena today to protest the “Jena 6” arrests.

Jackson told the 500 to 600 students in his audience at Benedict that “criminal injustice,” instead of a rope, is the pressing civil rights issue of their day, but that voting remained their strongest ally.

“Your fight is not about ropes, it’s about hope,” Jackson said, blasting the flood of guns and violence he said permeates many black communities.

Civil rights, he said, has become the counterculture of the day rather than the prevailing culture. “You can’t call on the Justice Department anymore; it’s not there.”

Jackson, who became only the second major black candidate to run for president, won five primaries in his 1984 bid for the office, then 11 primaries and nearly 7 million votes in his 1988 run.

He said the 2008 presidential candidates must speak most directly to the pressing S.C. issues of housing, high tuition costs, health care and a plan to end the war in Iraq.

“The candidates have got to speak to South Carolina,” said Jackson, who was traveling also to S.C. State University in Orangeburg and to Charleston Tuesday evening before wrapping up his registration drive tonight in Aiken.

obamakkk.jpgA Greenville native, Jackson said he hoped to register thousands of new voters during the statewide swing, which began Saturday in Rock Hill.

“Their votes must equal change,” he said, referring to residents in a state where only 1 in 4 eligible voters go to the polls. “I want to make sure the right agenda is being voted on in 2008.”

His approach worked for senior mass-communications major Darius Dior Porcher, 21, who graduated from famed Scotts Branch High School in Clarendon County, which produced the Briggs v. Elliott school desegregation case of 1954.

“The main thing when you speak to students is to get them to move,” Porcher said. “He moved students today. He got them to come down to the floor and register to vote.”

Sources Claim Barry Manilow Lying About ‘View’ Boycott

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

liarliarbarry.JPGNEW YORK, New York (link) – The man who writes the songs won’t be singing any of them on “The View” – or at least as long as Elisabeth Hasselbeck is there.Barry Manilow says he has backed out of his scheduled appearance on the morning talk show after the show refused to pull Hasselbeck from the interview, Access Hollywood has learned.

Manilow, a long time friend of Rosie O’Donnell, posted the following message on his Web site:

“I wanted to let you know that I will no longer be on The View tomorrow as scheduled. I had made a request that I be interviewed by Joy, Barbara or Whoopi, but not Elisabeth Hasselback [sic]. Unfortunately, the show was not willing to accommodate this simple request so I bowed out. It’s really too bad because I’ve always been a big supporter of the show, but I cannot compromise my beliefs. The good news is that I will be on a whole slew of other shows promoting the new album so I hope you can catch me on those.”

However, sources close to “The View” claim Manilow is lying.

Sources told Access the show is the one who cancelled the booking because they would not allow the “Copacabana” singer to dictate who would interview him.

In addition, the appearance has been scheduled since July (which is after Rosie left the show) and that Manilow has appeared twice on the show in the past with Hasselbeck on the panel.

The sources suggest Manilow is causing a stir in order to create a buzz as his new album, “Greatest Songs of the Seventies,” is getting ready to debut.

Access has reached out to “The View” for an official comment and is awaiting a response.

In an interview with Access Hollywood last week, Manilow talked about his new album – and the duet he recorded with his pal Rosie.

The two recorded Elton John’s “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” however, the track didn’t make the new album.

“It was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. She is just inspiring because you know she’s not a singer. She knows that, but she just got behind the microphone and ripped away. She was great and in tune too,” Manilow said of Rosie. “The problem was, as I put the album together, it became a very romantic album. And having this thing come crashing in out of nowhere, the tone just didn’t feel right. It’ll probably wind up being a bonus cut somewhere.”

Ya know I’ll freely admit I don’t give a shit about Barry Fagilow and his shitty music and him skipping out on the View or them dumping him whatever.
This is just another of countless reasons why I have absolutely little or no respect for idiot liberals.

Bunch of whining, sniveling, Fox News hating, Rush Limbaugh hating, Osama Bin Laden ass kissing, God Hating, big government loving, socialist loving, illegal immigration pimping, welfare seeking, dandelion loving, ACLU supporting communistic Barry Fagilow music loving lying vermin.

Sincerely, Snoop
