People are going all righteous over rap - even here in town - and ignoring the fact that every cycle of cutting edge pop culture that sells records or tickets or cover charges at bars is usually the most violent or over the top statement being made. Hell, I hate rap. But I hated Death Metal too. Punk.

What seems pretty tame these days carried the same ring in it's time. Bad ass sells today, yesterday, and tomorrow.</description>
