“Oh Snoop, you’re wrong about Ron Paul”
Now this really is no big deal because Ron Paul is not a legitimate candidate for President.
However I knew dude was not right upstairs and was kinda creepy, so this old article is not a shock.
Frankly a lot of white political folks think like he does, they are just not stupid enough to publish their idiot racist bullshit.

Copyright 1996 Houston Chronicle Political WriterTexas congressional candidate Ron Paul’s 1992 political newsletter highlighted portrayals of blacks as inclined toward crime and lacking sense about top political issues.
Under the headline of “Terrorist Update,” for instance, Paul reported on gang crime in Los Angeles and commented, “If you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be.”
Paul, a Republican obstetrician from Surfside, said Wednesday he opposes racism and that his written commentaries about blacks came in the context of “current events and statistical reports of the time.”
Selected writings by Paul were distributed Wednesday by the campaign of his Democratic opponent, Austin lawyer Charles “Lefty” Morris.
Morris said many of Paul’s views are “out there on the fringe” and that his commentaries will be judged by voters in the November general elections.
Paul said allegations about his writings amounted to name-calling by the Democrats and that his opponents should focus instead on how to shrink government spending and reform welfare.
Morris and Paul are seeking the 14th Congressional District seat held by Greg Laughlin of West Columbia. Laughlin lost the Republican primary to Paul, a former congressman and the Libertarian Party’s 1988 presidential candidate.
Paul, writing in his independent political newsletter in 1992, reported about unspecified surveys of blacks.
“Opinion polls consistently show that only about 5 percent of blacks have sensible political opinions, i.e. support the free market, individual liberty and the end of welfare and affirmative action,”Paul wrote.
Paul continued that politically sensible blacks are outnumbered “as decent people.” Citing reports that 85 percent of all black men in the District of Columbia are arrested, Paul wrote:
“Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the `criminal justice system,’ I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal,” Paul said.
Paul also wrote that although “we are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, it is hardly irrational. Black men commit murders, rapes, robberies, muggings and burglaries all out of proportion to their numbers.”
A campaign spokesman for Paul said statements about the fear of black males mirror pronouncements by black leaders such as the Rev. Jesse Jackson, who has decried the spread of urban crime.
Paul continues to write the newsletter for an undisclosed number of subscribers, the spokesman said.
Writing in the same 1992 edition, Paul expressed the popular idea that government should lower the age at which accused juvenile criminals can be prosecuted as adults.
He added, “We don’t think a child of 13 should be held responsible as a man of 23. That’s true for most people, but black males age 13 who have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such.”
Paul also asserted that “complex embezzling” is conducted exclusively by non-blacks.
“What else do we need to know about the political establishment than that it refuses to discuss the crimes that terrify Americans on grounds that doing so is racist? Why isn’t that true of complex embezzling, which is 100 percent white and Asian?” he wrote.
In later newsletters, Paul aimed criticism at the Israeli government’s U.S. lobbying efforts and reported allegations that President Clinton used cocaine and fathered illegitimate children.
Stating that lobbying groups who seek special favors and handouts are evil, Paul wrote, “By far the most powerful lobby in Washington of the bad sort is the Israeli government” and that the goal of the Zionist movement is to stifle criticism.
Relaying a rumor that Clinton was a longtime cocaine user, Paul wrote in 1994 that the speculation “would explain certain mysteries” about the president’s scratchy voice and insomnia.
“None of this is conclusive, of course, but it sure is interesting,” he said.

I believe RP didn’t write this. Why would he lie? He’s stuck to the same principals and ideals in his entire career. If he said he didn’t write it, I believe him.
And as a black man, I really don’t find any of this stuff all that offensive.
P.S.
Your blog is horrible. For a self described “political junkie” you sure make a lot of dumb entries. And not just about RP.

Hay “Willis” nice try, despite the fact that you are not a Negro, it is obvious you don’t spend enough time around them. You can’t come up with a better name than “WILLIS”
What the fuck were you high when you wrote this response?
You must have been because THE QUOTES WERE TAKEN FROM HIS NEWSLETTER, you idiot.
And I love the line “it was not all that offensive”, let me clue you white people in on something you either believe it was offensive, or not, OR you think it is “totally” accurate.
Do Negros commit more than there share of crime in America, shit yes they do, it’s fucken appalling, but you know what Negros are just as outraged by it, you think folks in da hood, wake up saying “what a beautiful day in the neighborhood, another crack head shot in the face, drug deal gone bad” no!
Ron Paul is no different than any other 65 plus year old white person, closet racist, hates or at the very least extremely skeptical of darkies, damm sure does not want to live near any and hates segregation ect.
But one thing old white guys love is young ghetto ass black chicks. Go to Vegas sometime, old racist white guys hate black folks, but they sure as hell are willing to shell out big money to slap some hot Negro ass and do what Ron Paul does in the country clubs, rant about those evil crime ridden Niggers!
When you run for president you can’t run as a man for all the people when your racist views put 13% of the population behind the 8 ball.
Thanks for visiting I’ll try to come up with more DUMB entries for you to view.
Idiot ass! Fuck , where do you people come from?

The blog is horribe huh? Why?
Because you do not agree with Snoop (he is blatantly conservative in his values and views) or because you think all blacks in American should keep certain information to themselves?

LOL. Pot meet kettle.
Uh, oh. Because that references the word black, am I racist now, too? :)
You made a judgment based on your observations. You even go further as to say that is the way all white men over 65 are. I don’t believe Paul said this is the way all blacks are, nor, as you contend, the way all blacks want to be.
What he said may be poorly expressed, as well as somewhat offensive, but it isn’t nearly as racist as your kneejerk response lends it to be. Much of it is based on fact, unlike your purely anecdotal racism.
You’re a passionate guy. And more power. The reality is it would do no harm to blacks of this country if more of what he said were being evaluated without the kneejerk racism accusations. If there weren’t a nugget of truth this would have drawn laughter, not outrage. Bill Cosby isn’t saying much different. And he’s right.

Melvin I appreciate your responses, you seem like a sincere and righteous dude.
Frankly I don’t find “fault” with Paul’s words and I certainly won’t deny that the issue of black crime is one that needs to be examined more closely. Yes, Cosby has said as much, but I don’t doubt Cosby’s sincerity and the fact that he wants black people to succeed.
It is in society’s interest that not only blacks but all people succeed.
I hope I’m not repeating this but a quick antidote. I’m 43 years old, grew up on the good side of middle class, only black family in da hood, yada, yada.
One of the biggest fights my dad and I had was over the fact that he said people in my generation has never experienced “real” racism.
Yes back in his days when you could not walk on the same side of the street as a white person, or be in a certain part of town, or be allowed to enter a certain store or experiences employment discrimination ect.
But as that young kid, I was not allowed in some of the homes of my white friends, picked up by the police as a 9 or 10 year old because the fucken police did not believe me when I told them where I lived, shot at by an old redneck and had dogs sent after me while walking home from baseball practice.
In NYC being totally ignored by taxi drivers despite having a cast on my leg, had job interviews cancelled when the interviewee found out what race I was, all shit I have said countless times here, sorry for repeating, but my observations about white people especially old white people are based on my experiences.
I don’t hate white people, too the contrary, some of the individual who have made the greatest impact on my life were white folks, from my second grade teacher Mrs. Turcheon, my fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Summerville, my civilian boss while in the Air Force, drill instructor in basic, operations commander while overseas, my former roommate in the Force Mark Dooley, to the CEO of the health system where I use to work to countless individuals during my community involvement days.
And most of all my best friend and wife Mrs. Snoop.
I don’t make kneejerk assumptions about folks, I go by what I know, and I go by what I experience.
Hell even where I work, despite working in a somewhat high profile entity, I still get the same strange weird, “damm he’s a nigga”, looks from white folks all the fucken time.
This is 2000 fucken 7 and idiot ass white folks STILL act as though they have never seen a black person in their lives.
I still have people go out of their way not to have to deal with me as they attempt to go over me to I guess to get shit done only to find out, they must deal with me. It’s crazy.
Some white folks just can’t process why some black folks can’t seem to get their shit together but in their assessment they never look at both sides of the coin.
Yes, black folks are not getting educated, they are not voting, far too many have babies out of wedlock, black folks heath is a mess and more importantly they have no problem killing each other because they don’t like what they see.
I’m just lucky enough to survive and endure the bullshit that goes with some the racist crap in this culture. Yes, it’s true being an overtly idiot racist is simply not cool, it’s not even logical and as we all know the more uneducated and isolated you tend to be the more racist you tend to be.
Some black folks simply lack the self discipline, the internal drive, the temperament do deal with and move on from the bullshit a white driven society throws at you.
This blog is my therapy, my outlet, but if you and I were to sit down and have a drink I would tell you the same thing, I’m just not the type of person to sugar coat crap.
The views of all black folks are virtually non-existent, except of x negro football players.
And on rare occasions white folks are not clued in to what black folks are really thinking and what they really think about issues.
I’m not a race baiter and I’m not the type of person to throw out racial crap just for the hell of it.
One more tidbit, and since Mrs. Snoop reads this she may cringe but hey. When Mrs. Snoop and I first started dating, we had a conversation about how her parents would deal with me. Mrs. Snoop being the sweet naive person she is thought oh her parents will just love me.
Long story short, when we announced our plans to marry her dad cried, and it was not tears of joy I can assure you. An old 70 something white dudes worst nightmare his daughter hooking up with…..well.
If people like Paul while making the statements he did want to have meaningful dialogue about the state of black folks and how we as a society can improve the educational circumstances, employment prospects, societal barriers and if his statements were in the context of working to improve those conditions, I would not have a huge heartburn with what he said, however far too many white people want to engage in the “kick a nigga” game. I have less and less tolerance for it and when an individual chooses to run for president the level of scrutiny goes way up.
Black folks tend to be their own worst enemy anyway and I don’t need people like Paul throwing out racial propaganda crap to cater to a segment of the population that just as well would like for black folks to have their own island somewhere and that is how I took those comments.
September 11th, 2007 at 10:42 am
That was well put, sir. I think we will long disagree, and I will often pester you about it. But I will try to do so respectfully, as you have done with me here.
I understand if you don’t wish to take my word for the following. But it remains true.
I have lost jobs due to both my race and gender. I have had a fellow worker insult me and my race on the job floor in front of coworkers with no repurcussion. I have had coworkers openly disobey superiors and make an outright joke of their job, then tell me they do so because they don’t have to fear being fired, as they’re black and HR wouldn’t dare. Working customer service years ago at a publicly traded (700s on the Fortune 500 list) company, a friend and coworker used to pick up the queue line and simply not speak when he got bored, letting the customer scream “hello” until they got frustrated and hung up. That was just one of his antics. His supervisor knew he was doing it. She was white and feared being accused of targeting blacks.
I briefly dated a black girl years ago. A few whites responded with surprise. Most blacks showed a different emotion, and weren’t shy about it.
My circumstances at one time dictated that I travel through Trenton and Camden NJ at night and on foot. I have been physically attacked on more than one occasion by blacks, two of the times with them having been kind enough to explain why. They didn’t give me dirty looks or make condescending remarks. They attempted to beat and possibly kill me because of where I was walking.
A white person tangentally connected to me, a student, was recently circled by a gang of black youths and beaten to hospitalization in Newark in broad daylight with black witnesses standing by. They didn’t search him to steal anything. They just bashed his face in. None of the blacks on the street acted before or after the beating, nor were similarly attacked. He walked back to his apartment and his friends called an ambulance.
I have long since moved from the ever declining liberal shithole that is New Jersey for all of these reasons.
That doesn’t get into the fact there are public loans and organizations that openly exclude me because I’m of my “privileged” race, or other similarly acceptable discrimination. I assure you, I understand being the target of racism quite well.
No, I don’t pretend I can compare it to a lifetime of being black, and certainly not being black a generation and more ago. But I have a scar or two that remind me that I have a hint.
Just so that’s clear.
Cosby, Paul and everyone else should be addressing what is wrong in any and every “community” or demographic. If they have to be the “right” skin color to address those topics, this once united Republic is doomed. This fact is inescapable, as it was when Teddy Roosevelt made his speech regarding hyphenated Americans a century ago.
So I will continue to disagree, but attempt to keep it respectful.
September 11th, 2007 at 11:55 am
Thank for the response. You know we don’t actually disagree that much, but it hard for blacks like myself to on the one hand promote the conservative ideals and principals that make America great while on occasion having to come to the defense of those with similar skin pigmentation. Do some of us black folks get defensive, sure we do, do we go overboard sometimes, yes. What complicates it more is when race baiters like Jessie and Al scream racism everywhere, it’s not, and they know it, but they don’t want you to know they know it. Confusing huh?
Discussing what is wrong in all of our communities in critical.
To simply say, “Black people commit a disproportionate number or crimes” and simply leave it at that does not do anybody any good.
If black people are killing each other, (lets use NOLA for example) if affects us all one way or another.
What is frustrating is we (black folks) know why;
babies having babies, men not being men and being allergic to education.
It’s just easier to say it all the fault of the white man, everybody needs a villain.
Ya know I joke with Mrs. Snoop sometimes, and sometimes I’m not joking that I am sick of being around white folks all the damm time.
I have been in way too many circumstances where being the lone token Negro seriously takes it toll; you are drained by the stairs, put off by the stares, exacerbated by those whites that want to treat you like a lab rat. Greeted by the smirky smile, the limp handshake and the condescending tone especially by whites that find out how conservative I am and when I explain where I work, my background ect.
All simply because of skin color.
Thank goodness that virtually all of the friends Mrs. Snoop had before our relationship started treated me with respect and accepted me mostly because they trusted her judgment.
What makes me different, I’m lucky, I was raised in a family where respect for myself as an individual overrode my NEED to identify myself as a black individual or the dreaded African-American.
My chip is not quite as big as most.
The problem with discussion like this is black people frankly rarely provide the opportunity to other white people to discuss these issues without accusing white participants of being racist.
Unfortunately black people CHOOSE to isolate themselves in their own little world, within the confines of their own reality, but mostly because of the examples I gave.
When one white person treats you like shit, well all of dem white folks are fucked up!
I had to learn to work past those issues, it’s hard and not everybody can deal with that.
Few black people like my dad would have chosen to move in the racially charged neighborhood we lived in, it was clear those white folks did not want us there, BUT as my dad predicted, the perception those whites got from the example my family set quite possible changed their perception of black people from that point on.
A house I was once not allowed in, I not only went in but was given keys to. Families that thought of me as that Nigger boy at first took me on family vacations with them. The old white dudes I ranted about, invited me into their homes, to family gatherings and I still hold fond feeling for them to this day.
But few blacks have those positive experiences, the black folks being raised in the boarded up buildings in East St. Louis, or inner city Chicago or in the deep South all they know is contempt and hostility towards “the man.” never looking at their own hand as the reason for being in the shitty circumstances they find themselves in.
Looking back on your examples in Jersey.
Opening your heart (to the possibility) that not all white people are out to get you is a hard thing for some black people.
That hatred is always boiling on the surface; again I’m lucky I’ve seen the goodness in many, many whites. Black folks living in shitty communities like Newark, Philadelphia, Detroit, and Chicago will never be able to escape that rut particularly when you combine the rhetoric of way too many black preachers and scamming liberal black politicians.
Yes on occasion in a crowded room full of white folks my brain flashes those worse examples of the white world, is it exaggerated, certainly.
Black people are their own worse enemy, more than a Ron Paul statement, or some racist neo Nazi protest or group, or some racist website.
We sometimes just don’t like to be reminded or our predicament by people who black folks believe have no interest in (our…see I can’t help it) survival or success, hence the chip on the shoulder factor you point out.
Bottom line (after all this ranting) we are not that far off, I just like to use my blog to poke at society and try and fish out the goo we each try to avoid.
Way too many people would just assume that this topic be buried and forgotten.

Sorry to disagree, but the facts about all of this is very cluttered. This was supposedly the works of Ron’s publisher. Who knows why it leaked. My opinion it probably has something to due with the C.I.A. I believe anyone of a different race has a better chance of living with Obama and Paul. Get rid of the new world order and expose the racists bastards behind the government. Protect the borders and stop the wars! To me that sounds pretty beneficial.
