It's because most men (if they are honest) will sort of understand seeking female company, even if you are married etc. But b/c the homosexual % of the populatin is still much lower then the hetero, there is still a large segment of the powerful (i.e. males) who react MUCH more negatively to any gay situation (not lesbian - gay). Old prejudices die hard. Especially if people do not see anything wrong with such double standards. To me, cheating is cheating. It's not the homosexual conduct that offends me. It's the hyprocrisy and lies that make my stomach turn!!
