Ron Paul Repeats Commitment to Overturning Roe v. Wade Abortion Ruling
Ok I swear I’m not piling on Ron Paul, but I saw this on Hot Air and could not resist.
”Do Paul’s left-leaning libertarian supporters know he’s not quite as left-leaning libertarian as they think he is?”
Lawton, IA (LifeNews.com) — Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul restated his commitment on Tuesday to overturning the landmark abortion decision that allowed virtually unlimited abortions. He said he would work to overturn the Supreme Court ruling if he is nominated as the Republican candidate for president and elected to the White House.Paul said he was pro-life and would make reversing the decision a top priority.
This is so disingenuous, WTF! A president can’t do that! As much as I hate the very concept of abortion and do think that far too many women use it as birth control, and the history behind abortion used to try and limit the number of Negros born, abortions are not going away and any presidential candidate who states that they will prioritize ending abortion is a fucken liar and an idiot.
Bottom line abortions are legal and feel free to keep abortions legal as long as the federal government is not pimping it or funding any institutions that perform or promote it.
But to say you will make that a presidential priority is pure lunacy. If you want to throw down $5,000 bucks to kill a baby that is on your head and you can chat about that decision with Margaret Sanger in the heat when your time comes.
