While that's your choice to make, it tarnishes your credibility on other issues. Overtaxing is theft. If he is working to prevent future theft while getting back some of the money stolen for the people he represents, good for him. The alternative is to reward the thieves who continue to steal. A Big Dig or his own district? Common sense.
