Just think some moron will actually contribute to this idiots campaign because of a pecan pie recipe. Amazing!
However what is more amazing is that his highly paid campaign advisors actually sat in a meeting, in a brainstorming session, and actually came up with this idea.
His campaign staff are as big a bunch of idiots as he is.

On 6-10-1953 John Edwards was born, and in six days John will be turning 54 years old.
John’s mom, Bobbie, asked all of us to help celebrate John’s birthday by contributing to his campaign—and has been sending her top secret pie recipe to anyone who contributes $6.10 or more to the campaign by June 10th.
The goal is 10,000 of us giving what we can by this Sunday. $19.53 for the year John was born or $54 because, well, that’s how “old” John is—or at least $6.10 by 6-10.
We are 1/3 of the way there. 3,000 members of our community are already celebrating John’s birthday with Bobbie’s secret pie recipe and contributing what they can to John’s campaign. And there is plenty of pie left! Remember it’s not how much each of us gives—it’s how many of us give.
In 1953 the cost of a new house was $9,550. You could fill up your car for $2.80. The middle class was the backbone of the economy. American car companies were leading their industry. The national unemployment rate was at an all-time low 2.9%. We all had a slice of the pie.
There is so much to be done and we need your energy and ideas to get it off the ground. Get a slice of the pie and help celebrate John’s birthday by contributing what you can by this Sunday.
