"Strong women", my ass. For one, being a complete asshat =! being strong or even confrontational. Rosie, Hillary, Garafalo, etc. are just asshats. And Mrs. Snoop and JanePepperare just above and beyond asshattery.

Try Condaleeza Rice or Michelle Malkin instead. Or not...according to Malkin: "Some women are more equal than others, in the eyes of the "progressive" female blogosphere...Because we have "betrayed" feminism, because we hold unorthodox political views on abortion, government race/gender preferences, education, the war, and taxes, and because we reject identity politics, we're not "authentic" women, we deserve what we get, and we just don't count."

Girls, just so you know: the Internet is not High School. There is no such thing here as In-Crowd/Out-Crowd, where the In-Crowd have to be carbon copies of each other. (And even the Out-Crowd, at times...all the dedicated weirdos in high school ("feminist-vegan-bicurious-punk-goth-whatevers) all seem to look and act and think the same, for that matter) Different people really are different, not just one cheerleader wears Sketchers while another wears Prada. Now quit whining, put on your big-girl panties, and deal with it.

Here's some factual and reasonable debate for you, JanePepper---how long have you *been* on the Internet? Have you not yet deduced that there are many varying degrees of content on said 'net? One can, quite literally, customize one's browsing experience to yield only that content which one finds acceptable, civil, and in line with one's views both politically and in matters of conduct. When one stumbles across content that one finds unacceptable, well, they are perfectly free to go elsewhere.

The Internet is not a continent of cannibal heathens, and the Reader is not a Bible-waving missionary. Those who treat both it and themselves in such a manner will inevitably be frustrated, if not thrown in the pot and served for brunch.

Sigh. Poor woman. How frustrating it must be to keep losing the babies with the bath water....

I didn't say that I didn't understand how someone might like like Mr. Snoop's way of expressing himself, let alone his views. However, she apparently jumped the logic train tracks by jumping from the fact that HE engages in name calling to the point where SHE could change his mind by doing like-wise. If all she and he want to do is exchange "pleasantries" (i.e. engage in name calling), God Speed to all concerned. Not my style, but I "get" my husband's humor.

However, since it appeared (somewhat) that she intended to convince him of his errors and her correct opinions, then it would have behooved her to conduct herself in a manner different then his "sport" of baiting the liberals. So typical; pick out one tiny flaw and pretend that IT was the real or whole message. Sigh.

Her main point - to which I was responding - was that he did not like strong women. I refuted that comment pretty thouroughly. So to what did she reply? Not that issue, you can be sure!

For the record, Mr. Snoop, your responder does not appreciate that your blog is a place where fire melts steel. Like, throughout history and all.

"...assaulting someone with vulgar names and obscenities...just a tactic often used by hot-tempered people who can’t conjure up an intelligent thought to support their so called beliefs…"
