Race War in California?

Sphere: Related ContentI shook my head as I read the op-ed, “Latino leaders’ silence is killing blacks.” Somebody ought to tell Jesse Jackson that his hoped-for black-brown coalition isn’t meant to be.
I’ve blogged about the gang warfare going on between hispanics and blacks in California a few times, wondering why in the world black and hispanic so-called leaders are not marching, shouting, and demanding an end to the violence. If white people were killing blacks venturing into “their” territory, there’d be an international backlash. While international newspapers have picked up on the story, they express no outrage whatsoever. At least none I can perceive.
Let’s face it: Minority groups preying on each other just isn’t interesting, and trying to stop them isn’t profitable.
I’ve also blogged about inane hate crime laws. Although I believe they’re totally unnecessary, I smirk every time I hear about a racial minority being charged with a hate crime because we all know (*wink, wink*) hate crime laws were intended to police the thoughts of white, heterosexual men.
Solutions, solutions. How do we stop the race war in California? Well, we can begin by declaring martial law in California and rounding up and deporting gang members who are illegal aliens.

Thankyou for this little post. I believe you are making sense, however, good common sense is not what one will get in any kind of national dialougue these days, it’s too corrupt. I’m white and believe that the powers that are would love nothing more than wars and Los Angeles is only going to be the begining. Everyone will be affected by it. The destruction of the USA is what I fear may very well be an aim, or at least a different kind of USA, one no longer ours. It’s a crime and a half. We are an apethetic lot of people now and quite dumbed down as well, and all are getting a little fat. I live in Mpls/St. Paul and again, any kind of reasonable politition should like to see and SAY that it’s no secret that all these new found latino’s are not here legally, but the trumpets of diversity will stare one down. We also have an unbelievable growth in Islam here. It would seem strange after something like 9/11 to actually see such a population GROW!! Very strange. An enlightened politition who had any sense that one has to ease and not with a little time some of them into western ways, I mean, look at troubled old Europe, but thier elite could not care less about them either. But no one says anything, so Minneapolis is swamped now by alot of underachieving black folks, which is sad but true, lots of illegel aliens (who by the way, if the LA situation were more spoken about as it ought to, blacks here may have more than a few words towards them) and yes, lots and lots of muslims. I may know alot very good muslims, 20% of my large place of employment consists of muslims, but honestly, how are we all just gonna get along?
