Oh man, the protests are one of the few things I miss about living in DC. Looks like you had a good time. I hope you stuck around long enough to catch some of the other things our nation’s capitol has to offer, like great Ethiopian restaurants and legendary clubs and theaters. In the 4 years I’ve been in the Bay Area, I’ve only been to one protest and found it incredibly boring, mainly because the vast majority of people here are liberal. Protesting in San Francisco just feels so pointless after all the years of DC protests.
