Man of the people my ass! Presidential Candidate John Edwards

Friday, January 26th, 2007

Check this out funny stuff:

Due to the extraordinary traffic generated by the link from the Drudge Report website, the main carolinajournal.com website is temporarily unavailable. The main carolinajournal.com will be available again once traffic levels return to normal.

edwardshouse.jpgRALEIGH - Presidential candidate John Edwards and his family recently moved into what county tax officials say is the most valuable home in Orange County. The house, which includes a recreational building attached to the main living quarters, also is probably the largest in the county.

“The Edwardses” residential property will likely have the highest tax value in the county,- Orange County Tax Assessor John Smith told Carolina Journal. He estimated that the tax value will exceed $6 million when the facility is completed.

The rambling structure sits in the middle of a 102-acre estate on Old Greensboro Road west of Chapel Hill. The heavily wooded site and winding driveway ensure that the home is not visible from the road. “No Trespassing” signs discourage passersby from venturing past the gate.

Don Knight, Orange County building plans examiner, told CJ that, including the recreational building, the Edwardses’ home would be one of the largest in Orange County.

Knight approved the building plans that showed the Edwards home totaling 28,200 square feet of connected space. The main house is 10,400 square feet and has two garages. The recreation building, a red, barn-like building containing 15,600 square feet, is connected to the house by a closed-in and roofed structure of varying widths and elevations that totals 2,200 square feet.

The main house is all on one level except for a 600-square-foot bedroom and bath area above the guest garage.

The recreation building contains a basketball court, a squash court, two stages, a bedroom, kitchen, bathrooms, swimming pool, a four-story tower, and a room designated “John’s Lounge.”

Edwards was the Democratic candidate for vice president in 2004 and a former N.C. senator.

Thursday afternoon, the Edwards for President press office was unable to provide information on any additional buildings planned for the estate.

Let ole Snoop be real clear about this:

I am not a playa hater, I think it cool that dude has a phat crib for his family and if you can swing it cool.

But what a catastrophically stupid thing to now be running for president and have it come out that you have this HUGE home and it looks like you had to kill a shit load of trees to do it and this idiot will be going out talking about how he is a man of the people, he understand their pain (Clinton wannabee), he will work for poor families he understands the needs of the downtrodden.

Remember when you idiot liberals kept talking about that bullshit about how G Dub was a rich Ivy League boy who could not understand what REAL Americans go through.

Just remember that as this dumbass Edwards does his stump speeches.

Just who the hell is advising this dude?

Lawmaker is accused of fondling a page

Friday, January 26th, 2007

This was funny, Rush had this on today’s show and read they entire article and pointed out what was painfully obviously to me… and I bet any of us on the right…

(ARTICLE LINK) liberalmedia_animation_sm.gifA Statehouse scandal in which a lawmaker is accused of fondling a page has transfixed South Dakota, with many people following the case on TV and the Web as if it were a Hollywood reality show.

Sen. Dan Sutton, 36, (hint something is missing) is accused of groping the young man last year while the two shared a motel room at the start of the youth’s weeklong stint in the Legislature. The young man was 18 at the time.

528 words 2,584 characters 60 lines later (according to MS Word) but hopefully you get the point…
you finally get to what we all are looking for…

Sutton, also a DEMOCRAT, said the elder Wiese might have wanted to make sure he did not enter the race. Or, he said, the allegations might be connected to a troubled business venture in which a development corporation led by Sutton lent money to the business led by Wiese.

Oh shit he is a Democrat!

Of course John Doe, 36 REPUBLICAN, (flashing text) would have been not only the first line but it would have been the headline.   REPUBLICAN lawmaker is accused of fondling a page
Fucken liberal media again, I swear they are so wacked.

Hagel Ponders White House Run As War Criticism Raises His Profile, yawn…

Friday, January 26th, 2007

 Washington Post

chuck_hagel_headshot.jpgBoth parties have their Iraq war contrarians. For the Democrats, it is Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman of Connecticut, whose steadfast support for President Bush nearly cost him his seat last year and forced him to run as an independent. The Republican version is Hagel, a career maverick from Nebraska and the only GOP senator to call for an end to the war.

Hagel’s sharp criticism of the war has placed him squarely in the mainstream of public opinion on Iraq and revived long-dormant speculation about his presidential ambitions. Hagel has been eclipsed by Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), a leading contender for his party’s presidential nomination who has vigorously endorsed the president’s war policies.

But with McCain appearing increasingly isolated on the issue as public opinion has turned overwhelmingly against the war, Hagel is acting like a politician who believes his stock is climbing. In other words, he is considering a White House run.

Hagel said in a wide-ranging interview this week that he is discussing his options with his family and other confidants and will make a decision in the next six weeks.

He said one possibility is forming a presidential exploratory committee and — despite his outcast position within his party — seeking the Republican nomination. Or he may seek a third Senate term. Then again, he might take a more creative path.

Hagel joked during the interview about teaming up with New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, a moderate Republican, and also floated the possibility of joining a bipartisan unity ticket with a Democrat – with his name first, of course.

Hagel clearly admires Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) and calls him “a star,” OH SHIT THAT TIS ALL I NEED TO READ!

There is more (here) but why bother.

Hagel is just another in a long line of fake ass politicians who is taking a particular position for simple political expediency to see how much traction he can get from the liberal left media, but damm it seems to be working.
Dude is an idiot and another fucken RHINO.

Joking that you would think some bullshit “unity” ticket with some crazy Democrat was a good idea proves that he is a man lacking in conviction, it all about the prize, no real leadership in my opinion.
Dude just fucken change parties and call it a day and stop this moderate Republican bullshit.
Another reason why the Republican is so jacked up today.

You people in Nebraska must be real proud, but oops we have our own dolt here in Kansas with Senator Brownback.
Did I already mention that is seems as though the Republican Party getting more jacked up by the day!? Damm

Update: Hussein Obama’s Site Removes Pastor’s ‘Endorsement

Friday, January 26th, 2007

obamakkk1.jpg(CNSNews.com) - An unofficial website encouraging Sen. Barack Obama to run for president on Friday removed a prominent California pastor from its unapproved list of celebrity “endorsements” of the Illinois Democrat.

As Cybercast News Service previously reported, the website DraftObama.org on Thursday unveiled a list of 17 celebrities who “work hard for a better America and have made statements in support of Senator Obama.”

The list compiled the public statements of 17 celebrities expressing admiration for Obama, a first-term senator who is considering a bid for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008. The list originally included Rick Warren, pastor of the 20,000-member Saddleback Valley Community Church.

The site included excerpts from an interview Warren gave to CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer, in which the bestselling author called Obama “an amazing man” and said he has the potential to be president because “he has good character.” (View a screenshot of the original page.)

Conservative Christian groups had criticized Warren for allowing Obama to speak at the church’s AIDS conference in November because of Obama’s support for abortion rights. The church has said it opposes abortion.

Read the rest here

I have always tried to understand the mindset of an individual who would consider voting and supporting someone based on the endorsement of some idiot fuck celebrity.
The thought of that is just so foreign to me.
The support of Clooney, Matt Damon, Meathead is suppose to inspire confidence in Obama? Plez

Have You Signed The Pledge?

Friday, January 26th, 2007

I found this Via Red State, and yes I did sign it!!

troop1.jpgThe pledge has it’s own site now, found here. In less than 24 hours, over 10,000 people (excluding the trolls) signed the pledge. That’s pretty impressive.

Let me say again, Republicans should support General Petraeus’s request and the President’s plan. There can be no compromise on this issue (I’m looking at you, Senator Brownback). We must move forward with this plan and win this war.

I know some people have concerns about the war’s unpopularity. I think, however, that they must premise that on our assured defeat. I disagree. I think if we can give General Petraeus what he needs, he can turn this thing around and we can win. Victory will shift the poll numbers. Defying the President’s plan will not — it will only reinforce them.

Sign the pledge and send the Senate GOP a message. No support for the plan means no money for your re-election. This issue is that important.

The KKK Disbands: Leaves Their Job To Black Folks

Friday, January 26th, 2007

A friend sent this to me. Although it is likely that many of you may have already seen via the e-mail spam route I liked it and thought is was poignant considering the state of Negro America from the political and societal perspective.

***

negros2.JPGThe KKK leader stepped to the podium, his hood lowered around his shoulders and a look of disgust on his face.  He said, “Sorry guys but this will be our last meeting; we’re going out of business.”

A member stood up in back. “But why sir?”

The leader sighed, “Well, Reverend, the black folks are doing a better job getting rid of themselves than we ever did, so we are no longer needed.” There were rumblings and protest.  The leader raised his hand to silence the Klan members, and said, “Their rap music says more vile things about black women than we ever thought of.” The members grudgingly nodded in approval.  The Imperial Dragon continued: “And their women write books and make songs that demean black men better than my two speech writers ever could, looking down at two men seated in front who lowered their heads.

“They shoot each other constantly “, he continued; “and as a group, they spend huge amounts of money on cars, liquor, that stuff they call bling bling, and the proliferation of rap music — as they talk about all that shit in their magazines — and nobody needs us to talk about how a lot of their sorry asses keep playing the race and victim cards while complaining that other groups are surpassing them in economic development and supposedly getting more attention in schools.

Hell, they even support a so-called “Black Hair” DVD that a white man is making money on, in four sequels at $20.00 a pop, talking about how Koreans have taken over the “black hair” industry without acknowledging that Black entrepreneurs had 100 years to get a monopoly or entrenchment in the industry that Madam C.J Walker founded 100 years ago, but got out-hustled and out-strategize while spending investment capital elsewhere.  Let’s face it, they’re being hoisted by their own petards.”
Some members went looking for dictionaries, while most members nodded as it hit them that their job was finished; that blacks had become their own worst enemy.

The leader shook his head. “It’s time to go back to our regular lives as policemen, judges and congressmen, and leave the business of getting rid of black folks to black folks. They are just better at it than us.”

He then threw his hood on the ground and walked off the stage. Thus ended the last KKK meeting.

Damn shame, isn’t it.

Keith “Quran” Ellison’s support for terrorist not a concern

Friday, January 26th, 2007

Keith Ellison.jpgWND’s report that new Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, once advocated the release of a woman charged with placing pipe bombs under police cars and who was a member of a terror group that allegedly attempted to assassinate Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., has generated a string of “no comments” from the parties, as well as a key congressional leader.

“The information (question) was received and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can,” A. Tianna Scozzaro, a spokeswoman in Feinstein’s Washington, D.C., office told WND when asked about the situation. But no call was returned.

One day earlier, she had explained that no comment could be obtained because lawmakers were busy waiting for President Bush’s State of the Union address later that night.

Arrested in 1999 for placing pipe bombs beneath Los Angeles Police Department squad cars in 1975, Soliah-Olson was eventually charged with – and pleaded guilty to – the shotgun murder of Myrna Opsahl, a bank customer killed during a 1975 SLA robbery.

Soliah-Olson also pleaded guilty to placing pipe bombs under LAPD police cars.

Ellison spokesman Rick Jauert did not respond to multiple requests over several days from WND to comment on the circumstances of Ellison’s support for his fellow Minnesotan. Feinstein’s office also has not returned messages requesting information.

At issue is Ellison’s support for and participation in a fund-raiser in 2000 for the then-recently arrested Kathleen Soliah, a.k.a. Sara Jane Olson. She was a member of the New World Liberation Army and associated with the Symbionese Liberation Army during the 1970s and had been on the run from law enforcement for over two decades when she was captured in St. Paul, Minn.

Tancredo: Ban minority caucuses

Friday, January 26th, 2007

cbc2a.jpg

By Anne C. Mulkern
Denver Post Staff Writer

Washington - Rep. Tom Tancredo called today for abolishment of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, Black Caucus and Asian Pacific American Caucus, saying they equal racial segregation

“It is utterly hypocritical for Congress to extol the virtues of a color-blind society while officially sanctioning caucuses that are based solely on race - and restrict their membership based on race,” Tancredo wrote in a letter to Rep. Juanita Millender-McDonald, D-Calif., who oversees the caucuses.

Tancredo, a Littleton Republican who is considering a presidential run, first called in 2003 for a ban on the caucuses that are tied to ethnic groups. He pegged his renewed demand to a report in a Capitol Hill political newspaper that freshman Rep. Stephen Cohen (D-Tennessee) could not join the Congressional Black Caucus because he is white.

A spokesman for Cohen said “He never formally sought membership in the Congressional Black Caucus, nor has the Congressional Black Caucus denied membership to him,” said Cohen’s spokeswoman, Marilyn Dillihan.

Cohen, Dillihan said “really regrets that this is being used the way it’s being used.”

Whether Cohen officially asked to join or not is irrelevant, Tancredo spokesman, Carlos Espinosa, said. If he had asked to join, Espinosa said, he would not have been allowed.

“The policy is what’s relevant here,” Espinosa said.

Rep. John Salazar, D-Manassa, belongs to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

When Tancredo previously said the caucuses should be eliminated, a member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus called that statement “more race-baiting” by Tancredo. The black, Hispanic and Asian-American caucuses exist because few members of Congress come from those racial groups and they need a unified voice, said Rep. Raul M. Grijalva, D-Ariz.

Feingold Pushes Plan to Cut Off War Funds

Friday, January 26th, 2007

feingold1.jpgSen. Russ Feingold, D-Wis., has scheduled a hearing next Tuesday in his Judiciary Committee subcommittee to explore whether Congress has the authority to cut off funding for the U.S. military campaign in Iraq. The move comes as Congress prepares to vote on a congressional resolution opposing President Bush’s escalation of the war.

Feingold, a fierce war critic, will force Democrats to consider an option many consider politically suicidal: denying funds to the military and U.S. soldiers to force a quicker end to the war. Democratic leaders have privately called on members to restrain from cutting off funding and focus on congressional resolutions condemning the Bush policy. The resolutions are nonbinding and therefore symbolic.

Republicans “would like this debate to be as whether or not we are going to be cutting off money for the troops,” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid recently told The Politico. “The logical conclusion is that a lot of things can happen. But right now, the most important thing is to tell the president that what he has done with the escalation is wrong. And that’s what we are doing, bi-partisanly.”

Feingold, who chairs the Subcommittee on the Constitution, will question several witnesses, including a Library of Congress official and legal experts from Harvard, Duke, and the University of Virginia, on the issue. Senior Bush administration officials have publicly argued that Congress has no such right, but Feingold plans to introduce legislation to force President Bush to pull American forces out of the troubled country.

“Congress holds the power of the purse and if the president continues to advance his failed Iraq policy, we have the responsibility to use that power to safely redeploy our troops from Iraq,” Feingold said in a statement released by his office on Thursday. “I will soon be introducing legislation to use the power of the purse to end what is clearly one of the greatest mistakes in the history of the nation’s foreign policy.”

Well, well a Democrat who has some ballz.
I sick of repeating myself but what the hell.

I listened to a number of talk shows while in D.C. and people are angry at G Dub and this troop increase.
These punk ass Democrats passing that non-binding resolution bullshit want to fuck the morale of the troops by saying this war is a mistake and a joke but at the same time saying “yes although it’s wrong, but we will send the money to fund it.”

If you crazy ass liberals think sending more troops is wrong then put more pressure on Pelosi and her pals to pull the damm money.

I was amazed that the entire time in D.C. I saw no protests, no signs, no throngs of people ranting and raving.
I thought, particularly on the day of the State of the Union speech that there would have been some significant protests in D.C. It was amazingly quiet.

This tells me that you liberals either don’t really give a shit about the issue or you had marching orders to say away from D.C so it would not take away from Pelosi’s big day blinking her way behind G Dub.

Fmr. Holocaust council director: Jimmy Carter once said there are “too many Jews” on council

Friday, January 26th, 2007

Found this on Hot Air. I love that Carter is being exposed for the fraud and the Jew hater I always knew he was.

So says Monroe Freedman:

carter2.jpgFormer President Jimmy Carter once complained there were “too many Jews” on the government’s Holocaust Memorial Council, Monroe Freedman, the council’s former executive director, told WND in an exclusive interview.

Freedman, who served on the council during Carter’s term as president, also revealed a noted Holocaust scholar who was a Presbyterian Christian was rejected from the council’s board by Carter’s office because the scholar’s name “sounded too Jewish.”

Freedman, now a professor of law at Hofstra University, was picked by the council’s chairman, author Elie Weisel, to serve as executive director in 1980. The council, created by the Carter White House, went on to establish the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C.

Update: In case you wondering which side of the aisle Freedman stands on, he isn’t one of those neo-cons Jimmy always talks about:

Freedman describes himself as “self-proclaimed liberal.” He said he decided to speak out after the release of Carter’s latest book, “Palestine: Peace not Apartheid,” which some have accused of being biased against Israel.

Her Cross to Bear

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

More old stuff while I’m out

From New York Daily News Blog

hilliarycross3.jpgI’m not sure when this started, but a crucifix cross* appears to have become a regular part of Hillary Clinton’s wardrobe.

She wore a gold one July 20, for a speech criticizing advertising directed at children. No picture available.) And she wore the diamond-studded one pictured above to the News last week. A Google Images search doesn’t seem to turn up any others, though whenever you think you’ve noticed something new about Clinton, her aides usually produce rock-solid evidence that it has always been thus.

Clinton’s Christianity, while never exactly lapsed, has rarely been forefront; noticing the jewelry doesn’t strike me as (quite as) frivolous as reporting on her hairstyle. (He said defensively.)

Is it, perhaps, a sign that her faith may be a bit more in the foreground as 2008 approaches?

*Commenters have politely alerted me that a crucifix is a cross with a representation of that guy — what’s his name again? — attached.

TO BE EXPECTED THO…

Hillary in ‘Tragic’ Flag Flap With Liberals

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

Old post, but we need to remember who Hilary is.

flag3a.jpgLast year Sen. Hillary Clinton was hammered by the left for co-sponsoring legislation to criminalize desecration of the American flag.
On Tuesday she again co-sponsored an anti-desecration bill – with different results.
This year’s bill was intended as an alternative to a constitutional amendment banning flag desecration – opposed by Clinton – that was about to come up for a vote in the Senate.
Clinton’s measure failed to garner enough votes, as did the proposed amendment, but this time more than half of Democrats backed the legislation.
The outcome indicated that Clinton’s position now has plenty of support within her party and she “remained within the Democratic fold as she prepared for a possible presidential race,” the New York Times reports.
But liberal political commentator Arianna Huffington is sharply critical of Clinton’s stance.
“It seems in line with her stance on so many issues – trying to strike right in the middle and triangulate, by not supporting the amendment because that would upset the base too much and at the same time supporting a legislative proposal that will appeal to the center,” Huffington said.
“It’s a truly tragic way of leading.”

Weather Channel Climate Expert: Decertify Global Warming Skeptics

Friday, January 19th, 2007

UPDATE: SHE ( Heidi Cullen) RESPONDS

From Drudge: ABC-TV Meteorologist: I Don’t Know A Single Weatherman Who Believes ‘Man-Made Global Warming Hype’…

weather1.JPG

By Jackson Simpson - Found on the Site National Ledger

Dr. Heidi Cullen, a ‘Climate Expert’ for cable TV’s ‘The Weather Channel’ believes that the cause of global warming is man-made.  If you are a meteorologist, you too should agree.  So sayeth Dr. Cullen.

An item from EPW points to a Cullen blog entry from December, (she hosts the weekly global warming program “The Climate Code”) and she is advocating that the American Meteorological Society (AMS) revoke their “Seal of Approval” for any television weatherman who expresses skepticism that human activity is creating a climate catastrophe.

She writes:

” Meteorologists are among the few people trained in the sciences who are permitted regular access to our living rooms. And in that sense, they owe it to their audience to distinguish between solid, peer-reviewed science and junk political controversy. If a meteorologist can’t speak to the fundamental science of climate change, then maybe the AMS shouldn’t give them a Seal of Approval. Clearly, the AMS doesn’t agree that global warming can be blamed on cyclical weather patterns. It’s like allowing a meteorologist to go on-air and say that hurricanes rotate clockwise and tsunamis are caused by the weather. It’s not a political statement…it’s just an incorrect statement.”

Wait - don’t hurricanes (cyclones) rotate clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere and counter clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere?  Hope that question doesn’t get me ‘decertified.’

After slamming her critics and politicizing the process of global warming by trying to silence anyone that disagrees with her, the ‘expert’ then closes with this gem, “I agree with every meteorologist who says the topic of global warming has gotten too political. But that’s why talking about the science is so important!”

Sorry, ‘doc’ - it appears that you only wish for those that agree with you to talk ’science.’  Folks already lampoon the poor forecasting of weather folks and I’m certain I don’t wish to get a dose of propaganda with my bungled weather forecasts - can someone tell me what’s going on at the Weather Channel?

The first response to her blog entry says it very well.  A person identified as Jordan writes:

“This is a bad idea. I am now retired but was a member of the AMS for many years. AMS could no more speak for all meteorologists than could the AMA speak for all doctors. This is another barely disguised attempt to silence the skeptics. It fits nicely with the Weather Channel’s practice of presenting only one side of the issue. If you are a good scientist you will not only welcome questions about your conclusions you will insist upon them.”

Science by consensus will always fail.  ‘The Weather Channel’ should stick to forecasts and leave the propaganda and political debates for the cable news channels.

No-spank bill on way

Friday, January 19th, 2007

The state Legislature is about to weigh in on a question that stirs impassioned debate among moms and dads: Should parents spank their children?

Assemblywoman Sally Lieber, D-Mountain View, wants to outlaw spanking children up to 3 years old. If she succeeds, California would become the first state in the nation to explicitly ban parents from smacking their kids.

Making a swat on the behind a misdemeanor might seem a bit much for some — and the chances of the idea becoming law appear slim, at best — but Lieber begs to differ.

“I think it’s pretty hard to argue you need to beat a child 3 years old or younger,” Lieber said. “Is it OK to whip a 1-year-old or a 6-month-old or a newborn?”

The bill, which is still being drafted, will be written broadly, she added, prohibiting “any striking of a child, any corporal punishment, smacking, hitting, punching, any of that.” Lieber said it would be a misdemeanor, punishable by up to a year in jail or a fine up to $1,000, although a legal expert advising her on the proposal said first-time offenders would probably only have to attend parenting classes.

The idea is encountering skepticism even before it’s been formally introduced. Beyond the debate among child psychologists — many of whom believe limited spanking can be effective — the bill is sure to face questions over how practical it is to enforce and opposition from some legislators who generally oppose what they consider “nanny government.”

“Where do you stop?” asked Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, R-Irvine, who said he personally agrees children under 3 shouldn’t be spanked but has no desire to make it the law. “At what point are we going to say we should pass a bill that every parent has to read a minimum of 30 minutes every night to their child? This is right along those same lines.”

One San Jose mother of three said she believes spanking is a poor way to discipline children, but she also wondered whether a legislative ban makes sense. Should a mom who slaps her misbehaving kid in the supermarket, she asked, be liable for a crime?

“If my 6-year-old doesn’t put his clothes in the hamper, I’m not going to whack him. He just won’t get his clothes washed,” said Peggy Hertzberg, 38, who teaches parenting classes at the YWCA. “I think instead of banning spanking, parents need to learn different ways of disciplining and redirecting their children.”

Lieber conceived the idea while chatting with a family friend and legal expert in children’s issues worldwide. The friend, Thomas Nazario, said that while banning spanking might seem like a radical step for the United States, more than 10 European countries already do so. Sweden was the first, in 1979.

Nazario said there’s no good rationale for hitting a child under 3, so the state should draw a “bright line” in the law making it clear.

“Why do we allow parents to hit a little child and not someone their own size?” asked Nazario, a professor at the University of San Francisco Law School. “Everyone in the state is protected from physical violence, so where do you draw the line? To take a child and spank his little butt until he starts crying, some people would define that as physical violence.”

It’s unclear how a spanking ban would be enforced. Most slapping, after all, happens in the confines of a home, and most children up to age 3 aren’t capable of reporting it.

Doctors, social workers and others who believe a child has been abused are required by law to report it to authorities. Nazario said he and Lieber are still debating whether to treat slapping the same way, or simply to encourage those who witness it to report it. But in either case, said Lieber, the law “would allow people who view a beating to say, `Excuse me, that’s against the law.’ ”

Experts in child psychology disagree over whether spanking is a legitimate or effective way for parents to discipline their children. Professor Robert Larzelere, who has studied child discipline for 30 years, said his research shows spanking is fine, as long as it’s used sparingly and doesn’t escalate to abuse.

“If it’s used in a limited way,” the Oklahoma State University professor said, “it can be more effective than almost any other type of punishment.” He added that children 18 months old or younger shouldn’t be spanked at all, because they can’t understand why it’s happening.

As for Lieber’s proposal, the professor said: “I think this proposal is not just a step too far, it’s a leap too far. At least from a scientific perspective there really isn’t any research to support the idea that this would make things better for children.”

But Lieber is optimistic that lawmakers will find her proposal hard to resist. For the record, she does not have children and says she was not slapped as a child. But she does have a cat named Snoop, which her veterinarian told her never to hit.

“And if you never hit a cat,” Lieber said, “you should never hit a kid.”

Not the best way to “rock the vote”

Thursday, January 18th, 2007

This found via Conservative Grapevine and Blake Ross

ku-klux-klan.jpgMTV’s Rock the Vote is honoring Martin Luther King day by linking to MartinLutherKing.org, an ostensibly historical site that quickly devolves into hate speech if you click any of the links. It’s run by Stormfront, a white supremacy group. Did RTV even visit the site before linking to it, or does a pretty graphic link pass for honoring someone these days?

Update: It’s fixed now, and RTV has posted about it (in brief: it looked real and it was ranked highly on Google).

Here is the apology from I guess the moron who made the mistake.

Last night, Rock the Vote made a mistake. In honor of Rev. Martin Luther King’s birthday, we created a tribute from the RtV front page, as we have done every year for quite some time. To identify the external link, our webmaster searched Google and chose one of the top results, a website that, at a quick glance, appears to be a tribute to Dr. King with speeches, photos and a special emphasis on the holiday (martinlutherking.org - but don’t go there). But appearances (and, apparently, popular results on Google) are deceptive. The website is a racist site that disrespects Dr. King and insults all of us who cherish his advocacy for justice. On behalf of RtV, I would like to extend our deepest apologies for this mistake. The link was immediately corrected.

Who the hell are they kidding?
This MLK.org has been a racist site for quite a while now.
You see this just adds to my disgust of left wing morons who only pay cursory attention to MLK and his accomplishments.
Do you actually believe that this bastard would link to a site and not know the content?
Go to the site, it does not take you long to figure out that it tis not very complementary of MLK.
Now unless you have a significant reading disorder how would you not see that?

jail2.jpgPolitical Bloggers Could Be Required To Register Or Face Jail Time

Article link here

An outfit called GrassRootsFreedom.com is reporting that the U.S. Senate is considering legislation that would require political bloggers with readership over 500 to register as lobbyists. If they fail to register, they could face criminal penalties up to one year in jail.

“Section 220 of S. 1, the lobbying reform bill currently before the Senate, would require grassroots causes, even bloggers, who communicate to 500 or more members of the public on policy matters, to register and report quarterly to Congress the same as the big K Street lobbyists. Section 220 would amend existing lobbying reporting law by creating the most expansive intrusion on First Amendment rights ever. For the first time in history, critics of Congress will need to register and report with Congress itself,” according to a statement from GrassRootsFreedom.com

Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) introduced an amendment Jan. 9 “to create criminal penalties, including up to one year in jail, if someone ‘knowingly and willingly fails to file or report.’” But Vitter is now co-sponsoring Amendment 20, with Sen. Robert Bennett (R-Utah), to remove Section 220 from the bill, GrassRootsFreedom.com says.

GrassRootsFreedom.com says:

The legislation regulates small, legitimate nonprofits, bloggers, and individuals, but creates loopholes for corporations, unions, and large membership organizations that would be able to spend literally hundreds of millions of dollars, yet not report.

Congress is trying to blame the grassroots, which are American citizens engaging in their First Amendment rights, for Washington’s internal corruption problems.”

MySpace hit with online predator suits

Thursday, January 18th, 2007

stupid_kids1.jpgNEW YORK - Four families have sued News Corp. and its MySpace social-networking site after their underage daughters were sexually abused by adults they met on the site, lawyers for the families said Thursday.

The law firms, Barry & Loewy LLP of Austin, Texas, and Arnold & Itkin LLP of Houston, said families from New York, Texas, Pennsylvania and South Carolina filed separate suits Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging negligence, recklessness, fraud and negligent misrepresentation by the companies.

“In our view, MySpace waited entirely too long to attempt to institute meaningful security measures that effectively increase the safety of their underage users,” said Jason A. Itkin, an Arnold & Itkin lawyer.

MySpace, based in Los Angeles, did not immediately return calls for comment.

Critics including parents, school officials and police have been increasingly warning of online predators at sites like MySpace, where youth-oriented visitors are encouraged to expand their circles of friends using free messaging tools and personal profile pages.

MySpace has responded with added educational efforts and partnerships with law enforcement. The company has also placed restrictions on how adults may contact younger users on MySpace, while developing technologies such as one announced Wednesday to let parents see some aspects of their child’s online profile, including the stated age. That tool is expected this summer.

The lawyers who filed the latest lawsuits said the plaintiffs include a 15-year-old girl from Texas who was lured to a meeting, drugged and assaulted in 2006 by an adult MySpace user, who is currently serving a 10-year sentence in Texas after pleading guilty to sexual assault.

The others are a 15-year-old girl from Pennsylvania, a 14-year-old from New York and two South Carolina sisters, ages 14 and 15.

Last June, the mother of a 14-year-old who says she was sexually assaulted by a 19-year-old user sued MySpace and News Corp., seeking $30 million in damages. That lawsuit, filed in a Texas state court, claims the 19-year-old lied about being a senior in high school to gain her trust and phone number.

I’m shocked, a man who lies, who have ever heard of such a thing!

WARNING SNOOP RANT!

Shit, I am unable to come up with a new way of conveying my disdain for these never-ending parades of moronic parents bitching and complaining about THEIR kids using technology to get themselves in trouble.

In case one of you idiot ass parents happen to read this, let me peep you to something.

If your 10, 11, 12 13 year old kid is on line chatting with adults the problem is with your kid!
You are either not paying enough attention to them, you have spoiled, coddled these little bastards into engaging in these online antics.

My Space and any other online networking service is not responsible for ensuring that your stupid ass children are not chatting with sexual predators and other fucked up people.

I’m so sick of hearing about this bullshit I can’t see straight. That is the problem with the Oprah generation. We have these off the chart idiot parents who specifically tune into Oprah because they can process common sense methods into their parenting.

I’m in my 40’s and I’ll be completely honest, the future of this country is tenuous.
We have a generation of kids today that are just off the charts idiots.
They are fat, lazy, irresponsible, rude, lacking in common sense dolts.

The article talked about a “15-year-old girl from Texas who was lured to a meeting,”
How the fuck do you get lured to a meeting, I’m mean seriously people.
Do you actually think the problem was My Space?
Any young girly who can be talked into hooking up with some adult jackass they met online is an idiot.

And before you think I’m just being a hard ass, consider some of the recent episodes of  Dr Phil.
On girl Alex, barely 14 years old, running away, stealing (stole $8,000 from her grandmother), doing drugs and prostituting herself to men nearly twice her age.

Another show and a segment A Materialistic Monster?
This mom actually blames retail America for spoiling Jacquie, her 14-year-old daughter. The little tramp says “if it looks cheap, she won’t wear it.”

The sister of another guest describes the crap given to her ONE YEAR OLD nephew and niece: “They have their very own living room filled with every possible toy you could imagine. The kids even have their own 52-inch TV equipped with a DVD player.” At Julian’s first birthday party he had pony rides, an inflatable bouncy gym, clowns, a steel drum band, a cotton candy machine, and full catering.”

And the result of having these idiot parents raising these spoiled selfish little trolls, this mother:
Connie says her 33-year-old son, Richard, is so lazy and selfish that he actually found a way to put her out of her own home, so he could move his family of five in!

What does this have to do with the My Space article, everything!

You dumbass parents out there who raise these idiot kids will be sending them out into the world, running businesses, being the next generation of stupid politicians, running our towns, cities, hospitals and healthcare system but more importantly BREEDING another generation of idiot kids.

Beam me up Scotty.

SKANK PARENT UPDATE:

phil1.jpgOk I’m watching Dr. Phil and I’m watching this idiot bitch on his show.

The biggest and the baddest guys really turn me on,” says 29-year-old Sarah, who has two daughters.
She says her two young daughters love visiting their step-dad behind bars.
She says that her first husband served two years in prison for identity theft and forgery. Her second husband was in for nine years for receiving stolen property, and her current husband, Willie, is serving 26 years to life for murder. “My husband is inmate number J73764. Willie will be up for parole in the year 2020, if he behaves,” she says. “He looks very intimidating. Some consider him a monster, and I absolutely love that about him. It excites me.”

Ya see again folks, this idiot bitch just had to fuck us all over and had kids.
If she were a single idiot bitch then fine, date criminals no problem.
But Nooooooo, she breeds, dates these fucken criminal bastards and drags her kids to see this piece of shit murderer IN JAIL. Amazing!

Now there are two more little girls who will grow up to be some pedophile seeking, sexually deviant, trailer court queens modeling their behavior after their skank mother.

I ask again, y’all think My Space is the problem?

The Plan To Silence Conservatives

Thursday, January 18th, 2007

Although I believe that technology will take care of this, with satellite radio, pod casting and any number of technological advances it will be interesting to watch these socialist fuck Democrats fall all over themselves to shove this Fairness Doctrine crap down the throats of Americans.

What I find appalling about this is, people who scream the loudest about free speech are the once whining about this.
I love when liberal Democrats who simply are incapable of winning the war of ideas bitch and complain about Fox News, Rush, Hannity.
I simply think it’s funny and quite pathetic.
If you are a liberal this is a prime example of why I think you people are a bunch of fucken idiot lunatics.
You people are incapable of convincing me of your viewpoint so you attempt to destroy the platforms of those individuals who are far more intellectually capable of arguing what happens to be my point of view.
Most liberals are just boring, silly and stupid, which is why you spend all of your time monitoring Fox News, Rush and all other conservative information sources.
Just like that stupid site News Hound “we watch Fox so you don’t have to.”
Unfortunately you liberals are too stupid to grasp what is wrong with that particular quote.

Free-Speech-Radio.jpg

By Cliff Kincaid - Article Link

Memphis, Tennessee: Media reform sounds like a good cause. But the gathering here of more than 2,000 activists turned out to be an effort to push the Democratic Party further to the left and get more “progressive” voices in the media, while proposing to use the power of the federal government to silence conservatives. In short, triumphant liberals now want to consolidate and expand their power.

Several speakers, including Senator Bernie Sanders and Rep. Maurice Hinchey, declared that they think Congress should use a new federal “fairness doctrine” to target conservative speech on television and radio.

But while conservatives are not ashamed to be conservatives, because of the popularity of their ideas about freedom, a strong military, economic growth and traditional values, the liberals at this conference wanted desperately to avoid the use of the term “liberal” – apparently because of its association with failed domestic, social and foreign policies. They described themselves and their causes as “progressive.”

If this conference has an impact, and the participants were called upon to put pressure on the media and Congress, we should expect increasing references to the term “progressive” in coverage of controversial liberal initiatives, including the proposed agenda for “media reform.” The only question is when congressional liberals will get enough nerve to aggressively push this authoritarian attempt to muzzle their political opponents.

The Soros Connection

Sponsored by Free Press, a Massachusetts-based organization that is generously subsidized by pro-Democratic Party billionaire George Soros, the “National Conference on Media Reform” featured Bill Moyers and Jesse Jackson and Hollywood celebrities such as Danny Glover, Geena Davis and Jane Fonda.Soros, portrayed by the major media and “progressives” funded by him as a humanitarian and philanthropist, has made billions of dollars through international financial manipulations conducted through secretive off-shore hedge funds. He was convicted of insider trading in France, one of many countries to have borne the brunt of his global financial schemes. He spent over $26 million in the 2004 presidential campaign trying to defeat Bush and also contributed to groups that have brought Democrats to power in Congress.

His “media reform” agenda is being pursued primarily though Free Press, which has received at least $400,000 over the last several years from the Soros-funded Open Society Institute. But Soros has also poured money into groups like the Center for Investigative Reporting, the Fund for Investigative Journalism, and Investigative Reporters & Editors.

One obvious purpose of such grants is to steer the media away from investigating Soros himself. However, during one media appearance, on the CBS 60 Minutes program, Soros acknowledged that as a 14-year-old Jewish boy in Hungary, his identity was protected and that he actually assisted in confiscating property from Jews as they were being shipped off to death camps. As an adult, he shuns pro-Israel causes and believes in accommodating the Iranian regime.

The Free Press co-founder, John Nichols, has edited such books as Against the Beast, a critique of the “American Empire,” and shares Soros’s opposition to a U.S. foreign policy that targets emerging threats in the Arab/Muslim world.

In addition to the creation of what he calls a “New World Order” under U.N. auspices, Soros’s causes include abortion, drug legalization, and special rights for immigrants, homosexuals, felons, and prostitutes. An atheist, Soros is promoting the complete breakdown of traditional values and morality in America.

In the official conference program, however, there was no mention of the Soros role in funding Free Press. However, thanks were extended to the Nathan Cummings Foundation, the Overbrook Foundation, Quixote Foundation, Glaser Progress Foundation, and the Haas Trusts.”We are grateful also for the generosity and support of many other public charities, private foundations and individual donors,” the conference program said, carefully concealing their identities.

Publications and organizations given credit for promoting the event included The American Prospect magazine, The Washington Monthly, The Nation, and MoveOn.org Reds Not Under Beds

The Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP), which opposes the Chinese communist government as too capitalist, was one of the official exhibitors. Also on hand, displaying banners calling for the impeachment of President Bush, was the so-called 9/11 truth movement, which holds that Muslims were blamed for the 2001 terrorist attacks on New York City and the Pentagon when U.S. officials actually carried them out.

Other exhibitors included the Newspaper Guild, Consumers Union, Mother Jones magazine, Pacifica Radio, and Amy Goodman, host of “Democracy Now.”

While the Democratic Party and its political leaders were embraced by most of the participants and usually met with standing ovations, the official conference bookstore didn’t offer any books by or about Hillary Clinton. I was told by the bookstore owner that that she was perceived as too conservative by this crowd and that those books wouldn’t sell.

On the other hand, books by Senator Barack Obama and Al Gore were prominently featured. Books by Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Mikhail Gorbachev, former White House reporter Helen Thomas, and Webster Tarpley, a former associate of Lyndon LaRouche, were also available. Tarpley, an “expert” on how 9/11 was a U.S. plot, was a featured guest for two hours on Air America, the liberal radio network now in bankruptcy because of bad management and dismal ratings.

A special screening of the film “Reel Bad Arabs” was held, in order to argue that Arabs and Muslims deserve more favorable coverage from the media and Hollywood. The film is narrated by Jack Shaheen, who recently appeared on Al-Jazeera English making charges of anti-Arab media bias.

Very little was said during various panels about the Islamic terrorists who killed almost 3,000 Americans on 9/11 and are currently killing American soldiers and innocent civilians, most of them Muslims, in Iraq. Instead, Bush was blamed for the violence there.Showing where conference participants stood on the matter of maintaining a U.S. military to defend America against the global Jihad, one of the books on sale at the official conference bookstore was titled, 10 Excellent Reasons Not To Join The Military.

Former conservative David Brock, of another Soros-funded group, Media Matters, labeled the Bush foreign policy of liberating Arab lands as “criminally insane.” On the same panel with Brock, Norman Solomon of the Institute for Public Accuracy suggested that U.S. foreign policy was immoral and that the media were working hand-in-glove with the Bush Administration to prepare a military attack on Iran, just as they had done with Iraq.

Reaching new levels of hysteria, Rep. Maurice Hinchey said the survival of America was itself at stake because “neo-fascist” and “neo-con” talk-show hosts led by Rush Limbaugh had facilitated the “illegal” war in Iraq and were complicit in President Bush’s repeated violations of the Constitution, such as by detaining terrorists. He warned that the “right-wing oriented media” were now preparing the way for Bush to wage war on Iran and Syria.

His answer, a bill titled the “Media Ownership Reform Act,” would reinstate the federal fairness doctrine and authorize bureaucrats at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to monitor and alter the content of radio and television programs.

Hinchey, chairman of the “Future of American Media Caucus” in the House, was introduced as the new chairman of a subcommittee with jurisdiction over the FCC. For Hinchey and the vast majority at the conference, there was a pressing need for more, not less, regulation of what they call the “corporate media.” With passage of his bill, Hinchey said that “progressives” would be able to demand and get “equal access” to programs hosted by conservatives and rebut the “baloney” of people like Limbaugh. “All of that stuff will end,” Hinchey said about the influence of conservative media. By name, he also denounced Fox News and Sinclair Broadcasting.

Hinchey praised Democratic FCC commissioners Michael Copps and Jonathan Adelstein, who appeared at the conference, and indicated that with the election of a Democratic President in 2008, the FCC could be openly used to frustrate the growing popularity of conservative ideas, perhaps under the cover of resisting “media consolidation.” Later, Hinchey was seen preparing for an appearance on Air America, which had a make-shift studio set up on the premises of the conference.Protecting Public Broadcasting

Democratic Rep. Steve Cohen, who was just elected to Congress from Memphis, assured the audience that Democrats would protect and possibly increase funding for public broadcasting, which he noted is on the “left hand side of the dial” but has been having problems generating listeners and viewers. One of the cries of some participants was to “put the public back into public broadcasting,” apparently a plea for even more “public” money from Congress.

Public broadcasting’s Bill Moyers, who spoke to the conference about the “ravenous” nature of “Big Media,” was obviously not referring to public TV or radio’s appetite for U.S. tax dollars, even though AIM has documented how these entities have received over $8 billion from the taxpayers since their creation. The far-left Pacifica Radio, another taxpayer-supported network, had a heavy presence at the “media reform” conference.

The appearance of Moyers, who served as White House press secretary in the Lyndon Johnson Administration before he worked for CBS News and public TV, was curious, at least at this conference in Memphis, because he had been aware at the time of his service to LBJ of secret surveillance of Martin Luther King, Jr. King was assassinated in Memphis in 1968 and his birthday celebration on January 15 was mentioned by several speakers, most notably Jesse Jackson, a former King aide.

One 9/11 truth movement booth featured a poster claiming that King was murdered as the result of a U.S. Government conspiracy, even though James Earl Ray was convicted of the crime and sentenced to prison. Ray died in 1998.

Continuing this fascination with conspiracy theories about the deaths of prominent people, a book for sale at the conference bookstore, titled, American Assassination: The Strange Death of Paul Wellstone, claims that the airplane accident that took the life of the liberal Senator from Minnesota was actually deliberate murder. The book claims Wellstone’s “progressive” stands made him a target.

Senator Sanders, the only open socialist in Congress, accused the media of covering up King’s opposition to the Vietnam War. He did not mention that King took that approach because he had come under the influence of identified top members of the Soviet-funded Communist Party USA, who had become his close advisers. This is one of the reasons why the Johnson Administration — and then Attorney General Bobby Kennedy — approved FBI surveillance of him. King’s radical turn to the left, which detracts from the good work that he did, should not be a taboo topic but it is one of many issues that “progressives” want censored from the media. Another King controversy that is off the table for “progressives” is his well-documented plagiarism.

Hillary: “She can’t win”

Thursday, January 18th, 2007

Hiliaryeye.gifFrom Drudge

Sen. Hillary Clinton should not count on help from Hollywood mogul David Geffen in her possible run for the White House in 2008.

Geffen, who was a generous supporter and pal of Bill Clinton when he was president, trashed Hillary’s prospects last night during a Q&A at the 92nd St. Y in New York City.

“She can’t win, and she’s an incredibly polarizing figure,” the billionaire Democrat told his audience. “And ambition is just not a good enough reason.”

Lloyd Grove reports in fresh editions of the NY DAILY NEWS the audience broke with “hearty applause,” over Geffen’s comments.

This just in: Jimmy Carter Sux!

From Sister Toldjah

carter.jpgThe latest news on Carter is that 14 Carter Center members resigned after becoming disgusted with gross factual and historial distortions found in his book Palestine: Peace, Not Apartheid. I’m trying to figure out why it took so long for them to figure out that Carter is notorious for factual inaccuracies, not only as it relates to the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians - and US involvement, but also North Korea. Oh well, better late than never. One former Carter Center member recently stated that Carter ‘condoned’ Palestinian terrorism, and it’s easy to understand how he came to that conclusion, considering his history of defending Pali terror.

You know that’s just sad.

Bringing Harry Reid to His Knees on Earmark Reform

Wednesday, January 17th, 2007

This post via Wizbang. I missed this one.

Republican Senator Jim DeMint led the fight to make earmarks transparent in new Senate rules. But Majority Leader Harry Reid fought tooth and nail to prevent that rule from passing, but he was brought to his knees and forced to cry uncle. By the time the dust settled, the rule passed 98 - 0.

pig_cash.jpgWASHINGTON (CNN) — The days of lawmakers slipping pet projects into spending bills at the last minute are ending after the Senate approved a new rule Tuesday forcing members to disclose requests for those “earmarks.”
The earmarks would have to be posted on the Internet at least two days before legislation comes up for a vote.

The new disclosure requirements — part of an ethics and lobbying overhaul that’s expected to come up for a final vote later this week — passed 98-0.

The House already approved similar language to combat earmarks, a much-maligned process in which spending items championed by individual lawmakers are buried in appropriations bills to ease them through the legislative machinery.

The rule change approved Tuesday does not prohibit earmarks, which critics often denounce as “pork barrel” spending. However, senators who request money for a project or tax break that benefits a select group must now provide a written statement outlining the purpose of the request and who will benefit, and certifying that they themselves will not benefit financially.

Those statements must be posted on the Internet within 48 hours after they are submitted to the committee with jurisdiction over the request.

Also, at least 48 hours before a bill comes up for a vote, any earmarks included in the legislation, and the names of their sponsors, must be listed on the Internet. This includes measures that bypass the normal committee process and conference reports reconciling differences between Senate and House bills — both of which have been magnets for earmarks in the past.

Senators will also be prohibited from agreeing to include earmarks to induce another senator to vote their way on another bill.

The new disclosure requirements are similar to those passed by the House, although the House did not require information about earmarks to be posted on the Internet.

The disclosure rules, proposed by Republican Sen. Jim DeMint of South Carolina, were originally opposed by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, who backed language with a narrower definition of what constituted an earmark.

But after a procedural vote to shelve DeMint’s proposal failed last week — with nine Democrats breaking ranks — Reid and the Democratic leadership changed course and backed the new requirements.

In spite of Reid’s about face on DeMint’s amendment, a source from inside the Senate says that Reid tried again today to block the Gregg Amendment, which would allow President Bush the power of earmark recission. That means he can send some earmarks back to the Senate to be voted on individually by the entire body. Reid ultimately succumbed to the pressure and agreed to negotiate with Gregg on his amendment. We all know the saying that actions speak louder than words. Well, for a man who says he wants reform and ethics in Congress, Reid is working awfully hard to make sure that billions of American taxpayer dollars flow freely to pork projects, away from any public scrutiny.

Why is Snoop Angry, again?

Wednesday, January 17th, 2007

angry-frog-www.jpgWARNING SNOOP RANT BELOW!

According to the National Black Business Trade Association (NBBTA) There are millions of dollars available to Black Businesses.

NBBTA is heading a campaign to help make the world more aware of the significance of Black business ownership. According to the association, more attention needs to be paid to the impact Black entrepreneurship has on every aspect of mainstream society.

Black America is only 12-13% of the population yet it influences 90% - 100% of mainstream American culture. From music to movies, literature to language; fashion to finance, Black America has a predominant influence. No other “minority group” in this country has a more influential position, yet Black’s are enjoying a less than equitable portion of the benefits derived from this “cultural exchange”.

NBBTA believes entrepreneurship and equity participation are the keys to economic empowerment for Black America.

Look at the trend. Hip-Hop stars have moved up into fashion, restaurants, nightclubs, beverages and other enterprises. Former sports players are leaders in the steel industry and athletic sportswear. They own coffee shops, movie theaters, eateries and auto part plants. They used what they had to leverage themselves to other ventures. They are going from the streets to the suites.

In our opinion, media focuses too much attention on just the musical or sport talent aspect of Black people. The real talent is that some of these “playas” are entrepreneurs. NBBTA believes that we need to study and emulate that positive behavior pattern. Entrepreneurs are our “real heroes” and more of us can become one, than be seen on BET, ESPN or play for the NBA or NFL. Visit our “Black Entrepreneur’s Hall of Fame” for even more examples.

Keep in mind too, that these “stars” success is due in part to the initial support they received from the Black community. By leveraging their popularity in music and sports for example, many were able to open new doors of opportunity and increase their wealth. Some have shared it, many have not. But that’s another story and issue that will be dealt with in the future.

Today, Black entrepreneurs everywhere are now recognizing what so many others have recognized for years … that there’s lot’s of money available to support any entrepreneurial ideas.

Where is it?… You ask?

The money is within the Black community. African Americans have over 700 billion dollars available to spend as they please. The most they spend with Black business is only 6-7%. That’s a major problem. That means 93%-94% of the money that Black people earn (income) is being spent with someone else (outgo). Some else is getting the “lion’s share” of our money. Other ethnic (special-interest) groups, that don’t necessarily look like us, care about us or will do anything to improve our lifestyles, are getting the funds. And will use those funds to advance their own family and communities needs. And that’s the way it is. We can’t blame them. We just have to do better for ourselves.

Money is to your survivability, as blood is to your body. If you have a leaking of blood in your body, you can’t expect to live too long. If you have a leak in your finances, you won’t make it in this country for too long.

There is a “leak” in our money supply. And that’s a problem. No wonder we have so much negative stuff going on around us. How can anyone make it off of 6 cents on the dollar. Every time a dollar is made in the Black community only 6 -7 cents stays…

STOP!!! JUST FUCKEN STOP, ALL OF THIS IS BULLSHIT, JUST IGNORE ALL OF IT!

You know why.

Because yours truly Snoop can’t get a fucken haircut. Yes you read right, I’m pissed because I can’t find a Negro, any damm Negro to cut my goddamm hair!

All of this fucken talk about black businesses and money leaving the community and black folks need to spend money with their own is a joke because Negros don’t know how to run a fucken business.

CPT (Colored People Time) is the mainstay at the barber I frequent.

You see I hate to waist time. I don’t like to wait for any damm thing especially when it comes to getting a haircut.

So to hopefully avoid the wait, I go to what is unfortunately the only black barber shop in town. I go early to avoid any extended wait.
The sign says business hours 9-6 Tuesday thru Saturday, at 9:30 nobody is there, the doors are locked, I wait another 10 minutes, nothing.
Apparently CPT applies to the business world as well.

Before I went to this other barbershop, one barber and he came in just about whenever he wanted to. I asked do you take appointments, he said no (not really) whatever the hell that is supposed to mean.
So I tried to come right as he would open, but on countless occasions he would not show up.
So I said fuck it, I went bald, I went bald for over two years simply because it was a pain in the ass to get my haircut.
I was desperate one time to get my haircut and this idiot white lady fucked my head up and I ended up shaving my head then.

Ok then I discovered this newer shop, two barbers, dude from the old shop and the owner, but it did not fucken matter I have been there on several occasions where NEITHER of them would be available.

I go today, early because Mrs. Snoop and I are having photos taken, and the motherfuckers are not there, what are they asleep, do they have so much fucken money that they can just say screw it I’ll come in when I get damm good and ready?

You wanna know why Snoop gets so fucken angry at Negros is because of this “fuck it” mentality many Negros have.

Fuck it, I’ll be a little late, fuck it, that is good enough, fuck it “I don’t need NO school”
Fuck it, I ain’t payin no child support.

Because we have been sucked into this half ass bullshit ghetto mentality mediocrity is acceptable.

I remember when in Wichita I would go out with friends and when we wanted to go to the “black nightclubs” they would be literally, hole in the wall, rat infested hangouts, but they would be packed, because Negros did not give a shit if there was lots of booty, booze and bass.
Who cares if you shoes stuck to the floor, or the glasses were dirty or the restrooms were unfit for use.

There was another place, that served the best fish in town, but fish were not the only thing they were serving.
You had to literally speak to a person behind a small trap door for them to take your order and you were handed your order through what was basically a large mail slot.

You name it; from overpriced grocery stores to faux repair shops Negros were content to accept a diminished quality of service.

But then they want to bitch about why black businesses can’t get loans in the hood and why they continually fail. IT’S YOU WHITE PEOPLE I TELL YOU!

I know their is not a damm thing I can do about, but it is frustrating and other than vent here in my private forum. I wonder what can be fucken done to change this ghetto mentality.

Mrs. Snoop and I were watching an episode of Cribs and this dude some rapper, was showing off his home.
Here is he supposedly showing off his home but it looked like dude just moved in, no pictures on the wall, house fucked up, the only personal touch he could muster was a fake street sign that read “booty way” over his bed. How many ghetto sluts were impressed by that decorating touch.
All through the segment dude was speaking in broken English you could not fucken understand what the hell he was saying.
I finally turned it because it was simply embarrassing.

It ranked up there with that stupid show that features Flava Flav, I don’t even know the name. But on one episode as the females were gathered around him one girl (yes Negro chick)rushed up the stairs, then everybody is wondering what the foul smell was. Well the bitch shit herself; she literally laid a log on the marble floor.
Now consider this show is supposedly the most watch show by black folks on TV.

Negros are entertained by other blithering idiot Negros, fantastic.

That ghetto mentality must be more prevalent in the Negro DNA than I imagined.

The Obama Drama

obamakkk.jpgThis was sent to me via Mrs. Snoop and a friend. Thankx funny!

FIRST: Last time I posted this pic of Hussein, some asked why I posted him in a KKK uniform. Dude sold his soul to support a racist KKK bastard Robert Byrd  .

Look Hussein has no, NO, nada, chance at the presidency.
But the fact that he supported a former KKK fuck and raised m
