Tiggergate

This morning, the “Early Show” interviewed Jerry Monaco, his son and their lawyer. The Monaco family recently took a trip to Disney World, where they met Tigger, the exuberant tiger from A.A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh books. Or rather, a Disney “cast member” in a Tigger costume. And that’s when the Monaco’s horrific experience began.
The Monaco family was posing with Tigger while Jerry filmed them with his video camera. Suddenly, Jerry’s teenaged son, Jerry Jr., was “smack[ed] in the face” by Tigger, as “Early Show” anchor Hannah Storm characterized it. Jerry Sr. called the incident a “sucker punch.” Jerry Jr., who later “woke up with neck pain,” was eventually taken to the hospital for treatment. As of this morning, Jerry Jr. says, “most of the pain is gone ’cause I have medicine.”
Here at Public Eye, we’ve long been opposed to people dressed as fictional characters punching teenagers in the face. But we urge you to watch the video of the incident and decide for yourself what, exactly, Tigger did – the “Early Show” helpfully plays the video over and over during the course of the interview.
What pissed me off more was this bullshit from another article from the idiot dad.
His family went on to say that their holiday was ruined by the Tigger incident. Mr Monaco claimed, “Tigger won’t be a man about it. Get out of the costume and apologize to my son.”
Ya know Mr. Monaco, fuck off, this is why some of you people raise these idiot despicable, contemptible and rude little bastards because you refuse to acknowledge the bad behaviors of your children.
This little teenage geek was obviously screwing with the costume, what do some of you have selective vision?
What makes matters worse is he is now pimping himself on the TV circuit trying to get sympathy for his bastard kid, not to mention dead presidents from Disney.
As far as I’m concerned Tigger should have stomped the little zit faced bastard into the ground.
Some of the bigger bloggers need to post a “Save Tigger” support link or something, I would gladly support.

I couldn’t have said it any better myself!
I’ve worked in the retial market for the last 14 years and have seen MORE
than my fair share of these little shits doing something that would get them
hurt and the parents would sue for and they get mad at ME for having to call
THEIR little “precious, innocent” child down…..about 10 times in a row! THEN,
when their child DOES get the tiniest scratch they come SCREAMING to me that it’s
MY fault that “precious” little shithead is hurt! “OH, this is going to require MAJOR
hospitialization!” No you idiot, try some peroxide and a Band-Aid!
I don’t have children for LOTS of reasons, one being that I don’t expect
the WORLD to take on the responsibility of raising MY child! That should fall to
ME and my HUSBAND, not anyone else!
Take a lesson here people take responsibilty for YOUR children!

You know why some of this pissed me off is I’m thinking back in the day, I’m 43, were there some kids who had questionable behaviors of course. But today a great number of these kids are just flat assholes. And because parents have this bullshit guilt about working long hours, divorce, relationship issues they excuse the jacked up behavior of their little monsters.
Thank God for my little Baby Boo granddaughter, Penny. I had her in my office yesterday and she was damm near perfect. She says please, thank you, she smiles at everyone, says hello and goodbye, will ask to give you a kiss when she leaves, she is simply a sweet child.
I have another new grandbaby and I hope she will be just as sweet and loving as her mom.
But the bottom line is if you are a rude, mean, and incorrigible human being or if you are too stupid and too stubborn to correct a child when they are being pricks this world will only deteriorate.
Can you tell this subject is a hot button for me :-)
