Abortion Jihad

Mrs. Snoop and I were talking about this the other night. I was asking why the hell is Phil Kline maintaining the abortion Jihad AFTER dude was resoundingly booted from office and risking any small glimmers of a political future.
Well the answer is below; look at all of these articles about what is frankly a non-issue.
Dude is getting coverage on the issue.
Here is the Google results for all of the articles. I just don’t get it.
I’m as against abortion as the next right wing guy. But this is a case where throwing all of your eggs at one particular issue starts to be counterproductive and you actually start do more damage to the very issue you are trying to fight for.
Kline is another right wing dude that has not grasped the concept that you absolutely and positively can’t legislate morality.
Another reason why folks think people in Kansas are crazy.

Would it influence you at all to know that some of the charges against Tiller (all 50) are based upon him doing abortions late term to minors, without reporting their rapes to local child services people, which is against the current laws on abortion? Or that some of the other charges are based upon doing late term abortion for things like “she wants to attend a rodeo and can’t do that at 7 months pregnant” ?
Tiller’s death machine breaks current laws, never mind whether they should be laws or not. And until now he’s gotten a pass (perhaps b/c when even he couldn’t see a way to kill the baby, he farmed out the unwanted babies to a select few people, including some of the very people who were then in positions to look the other way when he violated the laws)! I don’t see why a prosecutor who seeks to end such blatant law breaking, even if their last weeks in office, should get as much grief as PK does. I am pretty sure he hopes to be part of the vanguard that gets Roe v. Wade over turned or at least narrowed…

No that would not influence me, because just like all things political it’s one thing to shed light on an issue, but abortion is one issue that is simply too divisive.
I’ll use a sports analogy.
Its kinda like leaving your starting players in a football game when you are getting blown out by 30. Put out your reserves, call it a day, gather up the forces and focus on the next game.
If I were on his “political team” I would simply suggest that he simply just shut up for now, period. Why continue to alienate more and more people when it is clear he can’t gain any traction on this issue at this point in time.
People are not even listening to him anymore.
Yes Tiller is a fucken monster, he has been for years, but he is still around and will continue to be, but you have to work at changing individuals’ hearts and preventing abortions in the future instead of trying to browbeat people into caring about his personal jihad.
I’m gonna use my man DT’s take again:
“Those who nonchalantly treat abortion as a form of contraceptive; who give so little concern to the health of their own bodies, to say nothing of the welfare of the tiny bodies growing inside them; who prattle and screech about their rights but act dumb when it comes to the rights of the voiceless unborn; those so bereft of humanity and bankrupt of morals, so wanton-proud in their irresponsibility and smug in their selfishness are, perhaps, the absolute last people who should be breeding—squeezing out, in turn, monstrosities sure to be as maladjusted and morally busted as they themselves. Garbage in, garbage out.”
Kline needs to work on this issue from this perspective FIRST to give monsters like Tiller less to do.
