Airport Security Should Be Profiling Arabs

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

Well, duh who else would pray before they blow up planes? DUH!?

muslim111.jpgBy Ann Coulter via Human Events

The six imams removed from a US Airways flight last week have apparently adopted my suggestion that if they really want to protest the airline, instead of boycotting US Airways, they should start flying it frequently.

The spokesman for the imams — or as I believe it’s phrased in their culture, “designated liar” — Omar Shahin, staged a protest at Reagan Washington National Airport on Monday, after which, according to the Associated Press, “he and other religious leaders boarded a US Airways flight to demonstrate their determination to continue praying and flying.”

The original six imams removed from the flight last week first attracted attention when they said prayers to Allah on traditional Muslim prayer rugs in the boarding area. After boarding, they changed seats, spreading themselves throughout the plane. They were also overheard spouting anti-American rhetoric. Witnesses said the six men appeared to be either Islamic fanatics or U.S. Army chaplains on leave from Guantanamo.

Following the lead of FEMA in keeping Americans safe, the Homeland Security Department’s Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties is investigating the removal of the imams from the US Airways flight. (Talk about coincidences — I’m currently investigating the removal of the Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties from the Department of Homeland Security!)

Imam spokesman Shahin is a great example of why airport security ought to be profiling Arabs. Shahin’s predecessor at the Islamic Center in Tucson was Osama bin Laden’s financier and head of logistics — until he was arrested in Saudi Arabia in 2002.muslim9.jpg

Instead of aggressively distinguishing himself from his terrorist predecessor, judging by news reports, Shahin spent the five years after 9/11 denying that Muslims were behind the attacks and complaining of phony anti-Islamic “hate crimes” — as opposed to the pro-Islamic hate crimes he presumably endorses.

In 2003, for example, Shahin alleged that a woman in Arizona had thrown shoes at children at the mosque.

This is the most transparent hoax I’ve heard since, “If I did it, here’s how I would have done it.” This is like the joke about a speaker at an American communist rally opening with: “Workers and peasants of Brooklyn!” Shahin has so little insight into this country, he can’t even invent a believable hate crime.

It’s Arabs who have a thing about shoes being a sign of disrespect, not Americans. When Iraqis toppled the statue of Saddam Hussein, the crowd immediately pelted it with shoes. Saddam installed a mosaic of the first president Bush’s face on the ground floor of his palace so that visitors would be forced to disrespect Bush by walking on his visage in their shoes.

Shahin himself couldn’t get away from this pan-Arabic shoe fetish, adding: “The incidents of Muslims being attacked kind of shocked me in my shoes.” Note to imams trying to fabricate hate crimes against Muslims: Americans don’t share your shoe neurosis.

At Reagan National this week, Rabbis joined the Muslims at the prayer protest — though one imagines they did not share this prayer from the Hadith: “And the Jews will hide behind the rock and tree, and the rock and tree will say: ‘O Muslim, O servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him!’” In fairness, they usually save that one for the high holidays, like the “Festival of the Six Dead Jews” or “Honor Killing Week.”

Nor this one, also from the Hadith: “The Prophet said: ‘The Hour will not take place until the Muslims fight the Jews, and the Muslims kill them. The Muslims will kill the Jews. Rejoice! Rejoice in Allah’s victory!’” (Is it just me, or might some fanatic twist those words into an excuse to kill Jews?)

Also strange was that the NAACP has piped in to complain about racial profiling of Muslims. The only reason Americans feel guilty about “racial profiling” against blacks is because of the history of discrimination against blacks in this country.

What did we do to the Arabs? I believe Americans are the victims in that relationship. After the attacks of 9/11, profiling Muslims is more like profiling the Klan.

$165 million WND suit smashes previous record

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

gore87.jpgNational media ignoring massive action filed by Democrat fund-raiser for Gore

The $165 million lawsuit filed against WND and two freelance writers who wrote a comprehensive series exposing Al Gore’s record of corruption in Tennessee during the 2000 presidential campaign would smash any judgment that has ever held up in such a court proceeding.

WND was named as defendant in the action, along with the two journalists who wrote a series of 18 investigative reports during the 2000 presidential race, most of them documenting allegations of corruption involving then-Vice President Gore and others in Gore’s home state.

Some Tennessee observers believe the series had such impact that it was responsible for Gore losing the state – and thus the presidential election. Had Gore won his home state, the disputed Florida vote would have been meaningless and Gore would have had enough electoral votes to become president.

The lawsuit stems from the reports, which ran from September to December 2000, that included information about a Savannah, Tenn., auto dealer, friend of Al Gore and Democrat activist named Clark Jones.

Jones, who raised more than $100,000 for Gore’s presidential campaign, alleges personal embarrassment and humiliation from the articles, which said he reportedly intervened in a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation probe into narcotics trafficking in Hardin County in 1999. The car dealer also alleges the articles implicated him in the 1980 arson of his own business, the Jones Motor Company, and also pegged him as a suspected drug dealer.

In his lawsuit against WND, Jones is demanding the record-breaking $165 million in damages.

According to public records, the highest final award that ever resulted in a U.S. media libel, privacy or related case was a $58 million decision in the lawsuit by a prosecutor in Texas against a television station that broadcast a report accusing him of taking bribes in drunken driving cases, and even that was “settled” for an undisclosed amount before appeal.

A WND survey of such damage cases, claims and awards also found a jury verdict of $222.7 million for Texas securities firm MMAR Group Inc. against the Wall Street Journal, which reported on alleged investigations into MMAR’s dealings with client money. But that one was reduced to $22.7 million by the judge, and later erased altogether when it became known the plaintiff withheld evidence from the defendant during the trial.

Liberal attempt at humor

liberaldogs.jpg

Found on a cute liberal blog, beware Snoop rants below

You Might Be A Republican If….
No offense, but I found some of these amusing…

You’ve ever uttered the phrase, “Why don’t we just bomb the sons of bitches.”

Hello, I utter that at least once a day, and the problem is what exactly!?

You think “proletariat” is a type of cheese.

Now that’s just the stench of liberal elitism, and more God Bashing!

You ever told a child that Oscar the Grouch “lives in a trash can because he is lazy and doesn’t want to contribute to society.”

When I was a little kid before I even knew about being Republican or Democrat I wondered why would some idiot would choose the live in a trash can and even more why would people find that amusing?

You’ve named your kids “Deduction one” and “Deduction two”

So I take it that liberals don’t claim their kids as deductions. Now I know better than that.

You’ve tried to argue that poverty could be abolished if people were just allowed to keep more of their minimum wage.

I can’t comment on this one, it’s just silly

You’ve ever tried to prove Jesus was a capitalist and opposed to welfare.

Now I have know moronic Jesus freaks that have tried to explain this, but how does this make you Republican? It just makes you stupid! Kinda like the idiot Republican commercial during the campaign that Martin Luther King was indeed a Republican. Who gives a shit, besides HE IS DEAD!

You’re a pro-lifer, but support the death penalty.

I think sucking living babies out of the belly and tossing the mangled remains into the fire is barbaric.
I also think that if some socially unacceptable individual takes a knife and carves up a couple of innocent people, he deserves to die!, Oh shit, liberals found him innocent, my bad.

The only union you support is the Baseball Players, because heck, they’re richer than you.

I don’t get that one, I’ll pass

You don’t think “The Simpsons” is all that funny, but you watch it because that Flanders fellow makes a lot of sense.

Now this is proof that whoever wrote this is just a fucking idiot. I love the Simpson’s, Flanders is likely my least favorite character.

You argue that you need 300 handguns, in case a bear ever attacks your home.

Ok this is just more silly shit again. No niggas are going to be living near any damm bears.

Vietnam makes a lot of sense to you.

How much do you want to bet that the liberal who wrote this was not even born during Vietnam and likely knows very little if anything about it.

You point to Hootie and the Blowfish as evidence of the end of racism in America.

This was of course written by a white liberal.  Is the black dude Hootie or Blowfish

You’ve ever said civil liberties, schmivil schmiberties.

Yawn…

You’ve ever said “Clean air? Looks clean to me.”

This person voted for Al Gore

You own a vehicle with an “Ollie North: American Hero” sticker.

Sidebar: ANYBODY with a bumper sticker on their car is an idiot, unless it’s a junk second or third car putting a bumper sticker on a nice looking or newer vehicle is a sign of a person craving attention.
We don’t give a fuck about your idiot honor student kid, even dumber the “My Kid Just Beat Up Your Honor Student” crap or that you think “God is on his way”, or that you are pro or anti abortion, that you are a “soccer mom”, or you voter for whoever it’s just retarded, period.
Nobody can begin to explain to me that putting bumper stickers make any damm sense. Shit why not just put stickers on your fucken house, sound equally silly to me.

You’re afraid of the liberal media.”

Afraid? Is this person drunk or just stupid?

You ever based an argument on the phrase, “Well, tradition dictates….”

Yawn…

You’ve ever urged someone to pull themselves up by their bootstraps, when they don’t even have shoes.

More evident that this was a college aged liberal who wrote this. Take your ass to Goodwill, there are all sorts of good shoes there.

You confuse Lenin with Lennon.

Lenin is a liberal hero.

You’ve ever called education a luxury.

Another one I don’t get.

Mitt’s Falwell faux pas

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

Another Red State Post

Mississippi’s Jackso[n] Clarion-Ledger reported yesterday that Mitt Romney was in the State Tuesday, playing the “Bible Belt” game, when he declared that he had received the endorsement of well-known Bible Belt figure Rev. Jerry Falwell:

Romney said he has the support of leaders like the [tag]Rev. Jerry Falwell[/tag].

Mitt’s hometown Boston Globe quotes Falwell denying Mitt’s claim:

“It has come to my attention that a statement attributed to Governor Mitt Romney suggests that I have endorsed his candidacy for President,” Falwell said in the statement. “I have met with and respect [tag]Governor Romney[/tag], as I do many of the other prospective candidates for President.

“If Governor Romney becomes the [tag]Republican candidate[/tag], I could certainly support him,” he said. “However, I have not endorsed or offered support for Governor Romney or any other candidate and have no plans to do so in the immediate future.”

Without repeating my rant before read this: Can a Mormon be president? Is this a trick question?

Silly liberal post #2, Idiot PETA people

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

nativity.jpg

For Immediate Release:
November 20, 2006

Contact:
Jackie Vergerio 757-622-7382

Lexington, Ky. — Today, [tag]PETA[/tag] sent an urgent letter to Cameron McDonald, senior minister of the Southern Acres Christian Church in Lexington, urging him to set a policy prohibiting church-sponsored activities that can harm animals and asking him to use statues or models instead. PETA sent the plea because the church has sponsored “[tag]living Nativity scenes[/tag]”—featuring live animals—in the past. Every year, PETA’s office receives calls from church and community members across the country who are concerned about animals’ welfare and safety—and for good reason.

Animals used as props in seasonal displays are often exposed to temperature extremes and harsh weather. They frequently become stressed when they are transported from one strange place to another, and they are often subject to cruel treatment and danger. Consider the following:

* Brighty, a donkey used in a [tag]Nativity scene[/tag] in Harrisonburg, Va., was savagely beaten by three young men.
* A calf who was used in another Kentucky church’s Nativity scene bolted and spent two days on the run.
* A camel named Ernie escaped from a Maryland churchyard and was hit by a car and killed.
* In Richmond, Va., dogs attacked animals in a Nativity scene, mauling two sheep and causing a terrified donkey to collide with a car after bolting into the street. All three animals were euthanized.

peta2.jpgPETA urges churches to celebrate the Nativity in ways that allow animals to experience the comfort and joy of the season too. The River Community Church in Prairieville, La., for example, created an elaborate Nativity production involving more than 55 congregation members—including 40 children wearing colorful costumes and playing the animals’ parts—telling the story from their perspective.

“Christmas is the perfect time to make sure that animals are spared undue fear, stress, cruelty, and danger,” says PETA Director Debbie Leahy. “As we celebrate peace and giving, it’s time to relegate live-animal Nativity scenes to Christmas Past.”

I can’t even begin to tell you folks how much I hate PETA.
Ever since they ran those idiot racist ads comparing the suffering of black folks to animals.
These fucken jackasses are a bunch of lunatics.
I say we call today “punch a mutt”, “pop a cap in an ass day” “bitch slap a bitch”
“skin a squirrel” “bite a cow burger” “broil a bunny” You get the idea.
It’s cold outside here, be sure to wear your fur, stay warm!

‘Humanists’ Challenge Voting Booths in Churches (silly liberal post #1)

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

 god2.jpg

By Susan Jones
CNSNews.com Senior Editor

(CNSNews.com) - The American Humanist Association on Wednesday announced the launch of the first “nontheistic” legal center in the nation’s capital — a direct response, it said, to the “influence exerted by the religious right under the Bush administration.”

The group said it is particularly concerned about “damage” to Thomas Jefferson’s “wall of church-state separation.”

The AHA’s first legal project (lawsuit) stems from the midterm elections. The group is challenging the location of polling places in churches. While some churches cover their religious symbols on Election Day, others do not, and the AHA sees that as a major problem.

Humanists plan to argue that religious proselytizing took place at the polls. “We put out a call to our members whose polling places were churches, asking them to report what they saw,” said AHA President Mel Lipman. “The response was shocking.”

An Illinois humanist says he voted in a church that displayed a four-foot wooden crucifix right above the election judges,” said AHLC attorney James Hurley.

“Another member in California was confronted with a large marble plaque dedicated to the ‘unborn children’ who are ‘killed’ by abortion and containing a quote from the Bible justifying the notion that the soul is alive in the womb.

“And a New York member voted in a room featuring large religious slogans on the wall behind the voting machines.”

But the AHA said it would pursue “one of the most egregious and well-documented cases” — that of plaintiff Jerry Rabinowitz who was assigned to vote at Emmanuel Catholic Church in Delray Beach, Fla.

The case, Rabinowitz v. Anderson, alleges that to enter the polling place, Rabinowitz had to walk past a church-sponsored “pro-life” banner framed by multiple giant crosses. In the voting area itself, “he observed many religious symbols in plain view, both surrounding the election judges and in direct line above the voting machines. He took photographs that will be entered in evidence,” the attorney Hurley said.

Oooooo! Scary! Scary I tell ya. Having to look at those evil crosses will make your eyes fall out.
I swear you damm liberals are a bunch of retarded asses, what the fuck.

222.jpg“George W. Bush has been busy appointing conservative Christian judges who don’t support the separation of church and state,” said AHA Executive Director Roy Speckhardt. “And year after year we’re seeing government intruding further and further into the religious sphere.”

The humanist legal center says it includes more than two dozen lawyers from around the country, backed by thousands of humanists from coast to coast, who seek to have humanist values represented in the legal arena.

(The AHA defines humanism as a “progressive philosophy of life that, without supernaturalism [religion], affirms our ability and responsibility to lead ethical lives of personal fulfillment that aspire to the greater good of humanity.” It rejects “religious propaganda.”) The group says its new legal center “will work to make sure that the First Amendment to our Constitution is honored.”

It will do so by calling attention to “injustices,” Lipman added. And at the same time, it will “educate Americans on the importance of religious liberty and the plight of humanists in the United States.”

Asians: The Non-Preferred Minority

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

asian.jpgAnother post from La Shawn Barber. I can just see black folks who read her blog just shouting at their computers.
But you know the old saying: “the truth shall set you free.”
Whitey can’t solve the problems of darkies no matter how many times Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton bark at the moon.

Update II (11/29): Hard truth #101 (free reg. req.): “To ensure diversity among new associates, the study found, elite law firms hire minority lawyers with, on average, much lower grades than white ones. That may, the study says, set them up to fail.”

Regardless of what anyone reading this blog thinks about me or why I write about preferences, “diversity” is code for “lowering the bar to admit and hire black people.”

There just aren’t enough blacks competitive with whites to go around, so in order to meet some elusive skin color goal, businesses and government must lower hiring and admissions standards for blacks. (Lowering standards for all would be impractical, not to mention detrimental.) This is fact, not opinion. Black affirmative action proponents know this, and they also know that race-neutral policies will not work to their benefit, at least not in the short run. It has nothing to do with white people “oppressing” or “discriminating” against them.

What’s the solution? It may sound simplistic, but I believe reversing the trend of fatherlessness in the black community, focusing on education (and enduring the attendant sacrifices to make it a top priority in practice, not just in theory), and quashing all tendencies to blame white people for anything would be ideal places to begin.

Is it possible for a Democrat to pass up an opportunity to show their stupidity?

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

This post via Wizbang. I think it’s so good that liberal Democrats over the next few will continue to spew unbridled intellectual stupidity. He still sees this past election as a license for Democrats to excrete their liberal stench on the American people.
Hey Chucky keep running your mouth, your stupidity will certainly accelerate your fall from grace.
Liberal Democrats are incapable of shutting the fuck up and simply governing.

NY Senator Charles Schumer stopped by the NY Daily News editorial board meeting and made this statement:

dunce.gif“We’re in better shape than [Republicans] are, because they don’t realize that Reaganomics is dead, that the Reagan philosophy is dead,” he said. “We realize that New Deal democracy, which is still our paradigm, which is sort of appeal to each group … that doesn’t work any more.”
“The old Reagan theory which dominated — which is, ‘Government is bad, it’s out of touch, chop off its hands as soon as it moves.’ — is over.”

Reaganomics is not dead. President Bush proved that when he lowered the tax rates, causing the economy to boom, the unemployment rate to drop, incomes to rise, and the GDP to rise.

However, we do need more of Reagan’s philosophy of small government. This is something President Bush and the Republicans, unfortunately, have not grasped, which is the reason for their loss in November. If Charles Schumer thinks the Dem’s win means that the American people want more government intruding into their lives, he’s going to have a rude awakening in 2008.

Update: The Influence Peddler found an article that outlines exactly the kind of economic policies the Democrats want implemented - and it’s not Rubinomics, the policies of Robert Rubin that created created a strong economy in the 90’s. Instead, the Democrats want to institute Populist economic policies. You know, the kind that have allowed France to be the economic power house that it is today.

Racial Double Standards, Part 201

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

romo.jpgFound this on La Shawn Barber’s blog. Remember when black folks use to say “Larry Bird plays like a brotha,” well we have it again.

Not that I really care what former football player Michael Irvin said, but apparently he’s going to get away with what would get a white man fired and/or ostracized.

Last week Irvin said that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, who is white, must have some “black” in him because he’s a good athlete. I won’t quote the rest. Suffice it to say, Irvin could use a few lessons in diction.

Normally, this would be a compliment (for blacks), would it not? I mean, how many among us don’t believe blacks are genetically superior athletes? I believe they are, and I also believe that physical abilities aren’t the only abilities heavily influenced by genetics. Mental abilities…well, I won’t go there today.

That’s not to say that Romo has some “black” in him or that whites aren’t good athletes. But generally speaking, blacks just do certain things better, like sprinting, for instance.

In his own ineloquent way, Irvin expressed what most people know but don’t talk about in public. I don’t think he should be fired or made to apologize, but I’d be remiss on this Monday morning if I didn’t point out the dirty double standards.

(Writing about double standards is a specialty of mine.)

You may recall that Rush Limbaugh was fired from his sportscasting gig for implying that Donovan McNabb, black quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, was hyped up as a great quarterback because he was black.

I agreed with Limbaugh and wrote a post last year making fun of the NAACP for chastising one of its members for agreeing with Limbaugh. If I could care any less than I do about this whole mess, it would be criminal.

Iran’s Ahmadinejad Sends Letter to American People

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

 ahmadinejad.jpg

TEHRAN, Iran — Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has written a letter to the American people, which will be released in New York on Wednesday, a state newspaper reported.

The newspaper gave no details of the letter, but it would appear to be an attempt by the firebrand president to reach out to Americans over the head of their government.

The state-run newspaper Iran reported the letter in bold type on its front page, saying “the five-page letter to the American people will be released by Iran’s representative at the United Nations today.”

For more news, go to FOXNews.com’s Iraq Center.

Ahmadinejad wrote a rambling, 18-page letter to U.S. President George W. Bush in May, which Washington criticized for not addressing Iran’s nuclear program — where the U.S. is leading the drive to impose U.N. sanctions on Tehran for its refusal to stop enriching uranium.

Iranians in the street were disappointed by the cold response to the May letter because, while it did not make clear proposals, it was the first official communication between the two countries’ presidents since the Islamic Revolution of 1979.

Earlier this month, Ahmadinejad said he was planning to write a letter to Americans.

“Many American people asked me to talk to them in order to explain the views of the Iranian people,” Ahmadinejad told reporters, referring to his visit to New York to attend the U.N. General Assembly session in September.

Ahmadinejad has alienated many Americans by calling for Israel’s destruction and repeatedly dismissing the Nazi Holocaust as a myth. He also strongly supports the Palestinian militant group Hamas and the Lebanese faction Hezbollah, which the U.S. State Department lists as terrorist organizations.

No, I’m sorry, he ain’t sending ME shit! I don’t want to hear what this manipulative terrorist loving pimp has to say. I don’t give a shit.
The only news I want to hear out of Iran is that we dropped a bomb on his idiot ass.
Unfortunately he know that there are plenty of American crackhead liberals out there who support his moronic ass.
I wish they would go and take up residence there. Liberals would be at home in Iran, No?

Waking Up “Black America” - Whatever That is…

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

banner.jpgBy Erik Rush - Article Link

An article of mine appeared in WorldNetDaily the other day in which I flayed New York Congressman Charlie Rangel over his proposal to reinstate the draft as “class warfare-fomenting propaganda and race-baiting.”  No, don’t click over to find it now; the ICBMs from North Korea won’t arrive for some time yet…

Anyway, the column was well-received; even many in the mainstream media admit that the pimp in chic clothing’s motives are political rather than remedial.  The biggest gripe was from a woman who claimed I sold too much stuff on my website.  Yes – I realize that had nothing to do with the column.  It was puzzling, too: The only things I sell on my website are three of my books, which of course no one is obliged to purchase.  As for shameless plugs, I try to stay away from them (by the way, I also do freelance media production and graphic design, if anyone’s interested), but “we all gotta eat”, as they say.

Where were we..? Ah, yes.  One gentleman wondered how it was possible I could get away with saying so many things that might be considered racist.  Upon recognizing me as someone of mixed race, he got his answer.  Unfortunate that such things are considered in the context of truth or falsehood contingent upon the race of the source.

I wrote back to this fellow that I occasionally write about race politics; to relegate my topics solely to one issue would be silly.  Much of the mail I get is from whites who are gratified to have found one more person of color who says the things they feel they cannot.  Given all that, I believe that my addressing race politics (at least once in a while) is important.

So, here we go:

Like many black conservatives, I eschew use of the term “African-American” for a few different reasons:

It subliminally engenders division, something I believe we need to gravitate away from rather than closer toward;

The phrase was coined by liberal elites in Westchester County, New York (where I was raised); and,

It’s unabashedly pretentious.

I recall in the late 1980’s when it came into use.  I read a newspaper article in New York about the aforementioned black liberal elites proposing use of the phrase and the deep need for it.  The next thing I knew, a character on The Cosby Show was correcting a child concerning its use over the term “black.”  On that particular occasion, I recall the projectile vomit actually blasted my television into the adjoining apartment.

There’s an unspoken – or perhaps it has been spoken – convention that one has to be left of center to have any comprehension of the American “Black Experience.”  I was having a conversation with my sister (who still lives in New York) the other night about a childhood friend who is now a very big wig at AOL Black Voices (”Black News for the African American Community”).  Being a mega-corporate interest, the site is of the highest quality technically; it is also very mainstream media, thus very left of center, with a decidedly VH-1/MTV-feel to it.  No one there would deny that “afrocentricity” (a concept I’ve maintained is dangerous to start with) is the main concern.  Black Voices lauds the escapades of individuals such as Barack Obama and Russell Simmons, is replete with scantily-clad black vixens, and generally spoon-feeds black Americans urbanized, liberal, entertainment industry ideals.

To oppose AOL’s right to promote Black Voices would be absurd and immoral.  Also immoral, in my view, would be failure to point out that urbanized, liberal, entertainment industry ideals are extraordinarily destructive.  It’s admirable that hip-hop mogul Simmons is using some of his money to teach black South Africans to cut diamonds, which has the potential to significantly improve that nation’s economy; my complaint is that Simmons made his money selling spirit poison to young black Americans.

And that’s the crux of it: Whether one is discussing blacks or another ethnic minority in America, it’s the propagandists and profiteers in the social activist arena who won’t let us simply be Americans.  If confronted, they reflexively deflect blame for this deficiency toward whites.  Depriving blacks of their afrocentricity in itself is racist, don’tcha know – which leaves anyone who desires to intelligently discuss the matter between sharp pointy rocks and a hard place.

“White America don’t want us to have our cultcha.”  I’ve publicly scrutinized this retort of theirs before.  Why is it that only the baser and more hedonistic aspects of this “cultcha” are always the ones being defended? What about the spirituality, social and moral conservatism blacks embraced before the Democrat Party switched gears, corrupted the black clergy and began to enslave blacks through dependence rather than segregation and intimidation? What about blacks’ ability to maintain their dignity and develop a thriving sub-culture during the age of segregation? What about the moral character it took to forgive and try to work with their former oppressors?

Trying to explain how such vehicles are self-serving and divisive over shouts of “racist!” or “race traitor!” are next to impossible.  It appears the nature of blacks’ sociopolitical awakening is that it must come to one in one’s own time – if it comes at all.

One blessing, ironically enough, is the Internet and the general expansion of informational venues in media.  No doubt this has aided in the proliferation of black conservatism in recent years.  While Black Voices and the like are indeed out there, there are also places a young black person can explore and come away with the realization that liberalism in America has morphed into international socialism, that the Democrat Party was the party of slavery, that it was the Democrat Party that tried to vote down the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and that Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King and Johnny Ramone were Republicans.

I know: Johnny Ramone was white.  I just wanted to see if you were awake.

Leaders Call For An End To The ‘N’ Word

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006

Nigger-Os.jpgThe Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Los Angeles, and other African American leaders today called for an end to the “N” word in light of comedian Michael Richards‘ recent tirade at the Laugh Factory.

“We would like a voluntary effort to stop using the word. We want everybody to stop using the `N’ word,” Waters said at a news conference at the Los Angeles Sentinel Newspaper.

Read the rest of this bullshit here.

Now I found this tidbit below on Orge’s Politics.

“he’s (Jackson) urging a boycott of the Seinfeld CD set because one of the members of the cast dared to commit a new hate crime, uttering the forbidden “n-word.” However, there has been ZERO call for a boycott of Lil John and the East Side Boyz, Trick Daddy, Wu-Tang Clan, Lyfe Jennings, Ruff Ryders, Project Pat, B.G., Eddie Griffin, Tru, Jeru the Damaja, Daz, T.I.P, Big Punisha, Cappadonna, DJ Screw, Lil’Flip, Paris, Melvin Riley, P.K.O, The Pine, Play Circle, Nino, K-Sam, Lubie, LOKO, Queen Boyz, D-Roc, The 2 Tight Click, PSK-13, K-Rino, Point Blank, Raheem, Profit, ProHoeZak, Trick Daddy, Jay-Z, 2Pac, Yung Joc, A Tribe Called Quest, Ice Cube, Nas, Ice Cube, Little John, Mos Def, Snoop Dogg, Geto Boys, Chamillionaire, Tupac Shakur, Mobb Depp, Juvenile, E-40, Ft. Can you say hypocrite?

Dude has a point, so does a lot of white folks. No matter what goes on we parade these dumb as Negros to make these meaningless proclamations and society is suppose to take black folks seriously.

This is just beyond stupid and frankly embarrassing.

It’s almost like the media doesn’t care that people like Jackson, Sharpton and now Waters are a bunch of bumbling idiots.

The media must say to themselves, hey we are satisfying our Negro coverage quota for the week.

These loudmouth media coons make our job easier, no matter how bad it makes black folks look in the long run.

Gaia scientist Lovelock predicts planetary wipeout

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006

toon1.jpgLONDON (Reuters) - The earth has a fever that could boost temperatures by 8 degrees Celsius making large parts of the surface uninhabitable and threatening billions of peoples’ lives, a controversial climate scientist said on Tuesday.

James Lovelock, who angered climate scientists with his Gaia theory of a living planet and then alienated environmentalists by backing nuclear power, said a traumatized earth might only be able to support less than a tenth of it’s 6 billion people. Read the rest if you must

Note to all of you global warming pimps. This is why people like myself can’t take this bullshit seriously. You people are nuts and the people you rely on to help you perpetuate this nonsense are bigger nuts.

Liberals or Conservatives: Who Really Cares?

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006

liberal1ad.jpgThis post is another take on what I have below: “Professor Stumbles on the Obvious: Conservatives More Generous Than Liberals” Since it tis written by Sowell I had to include.
When I think of this I remember back during my activism days working with numerous community groups and organization and it was telling that most of the leftist types were not nearly as charitable and giving of their time as more conservative types.
I think back to some of my fundraising efforts and the people who gave the most were churches and business leaders.
People who were left leaning tended to only involve themselves on individual issues.
Young leftist types equate putting flyers on cars and light polls and marching down the street chanting shit like “Fuck Bush, Fuck War” as activism.
Liberals have no interest in making society and their communities “better.”
They are only interested in their own “self rewarding” interest and trying the hijack the government into exposing more tit for society to suck off of.
Again why I think liberals are the biggest frauds.
But that’s just me.

By Thomas Sowell - Human Events

More frightening than any particular beliefs or policies is an utter lack of any sense of a need to test those beliefs and policies against hard evidence. Mistakes can be corrected by those who pay attention to facts but dogmatism will not be corrected by those who are wedded to a vision.

One of the most pervasive political visions of our time is the vision of liberals as compassionate and conservatives as less caring. It is liberals who advocate “forgiveness” of loans to Third World countries, a “living wage” for the poor and a “safety net” for all.

But these are all government policies — not individual acts of compassion — and the actual empirical consequences of such policies are of remarkably little interest to those who advocate them. Depending on what those consequences are, there may be good reasons to oppose them, so being for or against these policies may tell us nothing about who is compassionate or caring and who is not.

A new book, titled “Who Really Cares” by Arthur C. Brooks examines the actual behavior of liberals and conservatives when it comes to donating their own time, money, or blood for the benefit of others. It is remarkable that beliefs on this subject should have become conventional, if not set in concrete, for decades before anyone bothered to check these beliefs against facts.

What are those facts?

People who identify themselves as conservatives donate money to charity more often than people who identify themselves as liberals. They donate more money and a higher percentage of their incomes.

It is not that conservatives have more money. Liberal families average 6 percent higher incomes than conservative families.

You may recall a flap during the 2000 election campaign when the fact came out that Al Gore donated a smaller percentage of his income to charity than the national average. That was perfectly consistent with his liberalism.

So is the fact that most of the states that voted for John Kerry during the 2004 election donated a lower percentage of their incomes to charity than the states that voted for George W. Bush.

Conservatives not only donate more money to charity than liberals do, conservatives volunteer more time as well. More conservatives than liberals also donate blood.

According to Professor Brooks: “If liberals and moderates gave blood at the same rate as conservatives, the blood supply of the United States would jump about 45 percent.”

Professor Brooks admits that the facts he uncovered were the opposite of what he expected to find — so much so that he went back and checked these facts again, to make sure there was no mistake.

What is the reason why some people are liberals and others are conservatives, if it is not that liberals are more compassionate?

liberalism2.jpgFundamental differences in ideology go back to fundamental assumptions about human nature. Based on one set of assumptions, it makes perfect sense to be a liberal. Based on a different set of assumptions, it makes perfect sense to be a conservative.

The two visions are not completely symmetrical, however. For at least two centuries, the vision of the left has included a belief that those with that vision are morally superior, more caring and more compassionate.

While both sides argue that their opponents are mistaken, those on the left have declared their opponents to be not merely in error but morally flawed as well. So the idea that liberals are more caring and compassionate goes with the territory, whether or not it fits the facts.

Those on the left proclaimed their moral superiority in the 18th century and they continue to proclaim it in the 21st century. What is remarkable is how long it took for anyone to put that belief to the test — and how completely it failed that test.

The two visions are different in another way. The vision of the left exalts the young especially as idealists while the more conservative vision warns against the narrowness and shallowness of the inexperienced. This study found young liberals to make the least charitable contributions of all, whether in money, time or blood. Idealism in words is not idealism in deeds.

Illegal aliens murder 12 Americans daily

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006

“I don’t know why ole Snoop is posting such garbage. This must be a pack of lies.
Illegal folks only want to come here to find honest work, they, travel great distances risking their lives to make a better life for themselves and their families. They would never resort to murder and mayhem, silly Snoop.
Shame on these people for writing this story, and shame on Snoop for posting.”

From World Net Daily

illegals3.GIFWASHINGTON – While the military “quagmire” in Iraq was said to tip the scales of power in the U.S. midterm elections, most Americans have no idea more of their fellow citizens – men, women and children – were murdered this year by illegal aliens than the combined death toll of U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan since those military campaigns began.

Though no federal statistics are kept on murders or any other crimes committed by illegal aliens, a number of groups have produced estimates based on data collected from prisons, news reports and independent research.

Twelve Americans are murdered every day by illegal aliens, according to statistics released by Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa. If those numbers are correct, it translates to 4,380 Americans murdered annually by illegal aliens. That’s 21,900 since Sept. 11, 2001.

Total U.S. troop deaths in Iraq as of last week were reported at 2,863. Total U.S. troop deaths in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan during the five years of the Afghan campaign are currently at 289, according to the Department of Defense.

But the carnage wrought by illegal alien murderers represents only a fraction of the pool of blood spilled by American citizens as a result of an open border and un-enforced immigration laws.

While King reports 12 Americans are murdered daily by illegal aliens, he says 13 are killed by drunk illegal alien drivers – for another annual death toll of 4,745. That’s 23,725 since Sept. 11, 2001.

While no one – in or out of government – tracks traffic all U.S. accidents caused by illegal aliens, the statistical and anecdotal evidence suggests many of last year’s 42,636 road deaths involved illegal aliens.

A report by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Study found 20 percent of fatal accidents involve at least one driver who lacks a valid license. In California, another study showed that those who have never held a valid license are about five times more likely to be involved in a fatal road accident than licensed drivers.

Statistically, that makes them an even greater danger on the road than drivers whose licenses have been suspended or revoked – and nearly as dangerous as drunk drivers.

King also reports eight American children are victims of sexual abuse by illegal aliens every day – a total of 2,920 annually.

Based on a one-year in-depth study, Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute of Atlanta estimates there are about 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States who have had an average of four victims each. She analyzed 1,500 cases from January 1999 through April 2006 that included serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides and child molestation committed by illegal immigrants.

As the number of illegal aliens in the U.S. increases, so does the number of American victims.

According to Edwin Rubenstien, president of ESR Research Economic Consultants, in Indianapolis in 1980, federal and state correctional facilities held fewer than 9,000 criminal aliens. But at the end of 2003, approximately 267,000 illegal aliens were incarcerated in all U.S. jails and prisons.

While the federal government doesn’t track illegal alien murders, illegal alien rapes or illegal alien drunk driving deaths, it has studied illegal aliens incarcerated in U.S. prisons.

In April 2005, the Government Accountability Office released a report on a study of 55,322 illegal aliens incarcerated in federal, state, and local facilities during 2003. It found the following:

  • The 55,322 illegal aliens studied represented a total of 459,614 arrests – some eight arrests per illegal alien;
  • Their arrests represented a total of about 700,000 criminal offenses – some 13 offenses per illegal alien;
  • 36 percent had been arrested at least five times before.

“While the vast majority of illegal aliens are decent people who work hard and are only trying to make a better life for themselves and their families, (something you or I would probably do if we were in their place), it is also a fact that a disproportionately high percentage of illegal aliens are criminals and sexual predators,” states Peter Wagner, author of a new report called “The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration.” “That is part of the dark side of illegal immigration and when we allow the ‘good’ in we get the ‘bad’ along with them. The question is, how much ‘bad’ is acceptable and at what price?”

More women have abortions as it loses stigma, No kidding!

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006

ggw.jpgBy Celia Hall - Telegraph UK

Women are finding it more acceptable to have an [tag]abortion[/tag] than to drift into an [tag]unplanned pregnancy[/tag], the head of Britain’s leading abortion agency said yesterday.

Ann Furedi, the chief executive of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS), said one women in five was now childless at the age of 45 and an increasing number were making the choice not to have children at all.

Ms Furedi said there had been a shift in public opinion about parenthood. The stigma of abortion had diminished but there was now concern about being a poor parent. “Parenting is considered to be very important and is taken seriously these days,” she said. “The idea of just drifting into unplanned motherhood is seen not to be a good thing and you could argue that among many groups of people in society abortion is seen as a more responsible response to being a victim of uncontrolled fertility,” she said.

“The bottom line is that it’s now normal for women in their 40s simply to decide not to have children,” said Ms Furedi at the launch of an Ipsos Mori poll into attitudes to abortion.

Abortion figures continue to rise year on year. Latest figures show that there are about 165,500 abortions for British residents a year.

The BPAS says that the opportunity to get pregnant is greater as more women are sexually active for longer, with no intention of starting a family. [tag]Contraception[/tag] could fail and couples would sometimes fail to use contraception.

She said that because more women in the peak of their fertility, in their early 20s, were having sex frequently in the context of a relationship, the chance of uninvited pregnancy was high. “They simply don’t want to have a child at that time of their lives.” Almost a third of women using contraception choose the Pill. Of these, eight per cent can expect to get pregnant each year. Rates of condom failure are even higher with 15 women out of every 100 becoming pregnant.

The Ipsos Mori poll of 2,000 adults found that slightly fewer adults agreed that “abortion should be made legally available for all who want it” than five years ago. In the survey in May, 59 per cent agreed with the question compared with 62 per cent in 2001.

Asked if a woman should not have to continue with a pregnancy if she wanted an abortion, 63 per cent agreed and 18 per cent disagreed.

The survey was commissioned by BPAS, which says the law should be changed to make abortion easier.

Life, the anti-abortion lobby group, said women should not make choices at the expense of unborn children. A spokesman said: “[tag]Society[/tag] must respect the right to life of all human beings, even those who are small and vulnerable and possibly inconvenient.”

WARNING SNOOP RANT TO FOLLOW:

Although I find abortions barbaric, crude and an absolute benchmark highlighting the decay of our society, I may be changing my stance on the abortion thing.
I always believed that women should be allowed to suck and mangle unwanted life from their bodies as long as ole Snoop is not paying for it, however as the article points out the stigma of abortions has gone away.
So brainless bimbos who get drunk and who subsequently get knocked up by some cave creature (who certainly won’t remember the bimbos name the next morning) feel compelled to erase the mistake of the fateful evening romp on the kitchen floor and replace the memories with the sound of a vacuum cleaner.
Do we need more bimbos in the gene pool? I think not.
If women are not bright enough to use contraception, or resourceful enough to insist that the cave man slip on a jimmy coat or lacking in common sense to realize that the dude they are about to knock boots with has already rolled on the kitchen floor or that sandy beach with several other diseased bimbos then by all means engage in gene pool eradication.
We don’t need more cases for Judge Judy. I think she is getting tired of telling these young idiot girls, GROW UP!
Young women obviously are not listening.

NBC, the idiot network that employs Keith Olbermann, shows their stupidity

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006

In case you forgot basic history lessons, NBC apparently does not have history experts on staff:

civilwar.jpgA civil war is a war in which parties within the same culture, society or nationality fight for political power or control of an area. Political scientists use two criteria: the warring groups must be from the same country and fighting for control of the political center, control over a separatist state or to force a major change in policy. The second criteria is that at least 1,000 people must have been killed in total, with at least 100 from each side.[1]

Some civil wars are also categorized as revolutions when major societal restructuring is a possible outcome of the conflict. An insurgency, whether successful or not, is likely to be classified as a civil war by some historians if, and only if, organized armies fight conventional battles. Other historians state the criteria for a civil war is that there must be prolonged violence between organized factions or defined regions of a country (conventionally fought or not).

Ultimately the distinction between a “civil war” and a “revolution” or other name is arbitrary, and determined by usage. The successful revolution of the 1640s in England which led to the (temporary) overthrow of the monarchy became known as the English Civil War. The successful insurgency of the 1770s in British colonies in America, with organized armies fighting battles, came to be known as the American Revolution. In the United States, and in American-dominated sources, the term ‘the civil war’ almost always means the American Civil War, with other civil wars noted or inferred from context.

Factors such as nationalism, religion, and ideology played little role in pre-modern civil wars. Modern nationalists have commonly read past revolts (such as Scotland against England or Catalonia against Spain) as early stirrings of nationalism, the truth is that these conflicts were in fact feudal or dynastic rather than national. There are some pre-modern civil wars that can be seen as fueled by religion (the Jewish Revolts against Rome), but these can also be seen as revolts by a servile people against their oppressors or uprisings by local notables in an attempt to gain independence.

Now read this story: NBC calls Iraq conflict ‘civil war’

NEW YORK - NBC News on Monday began referring to the Iraq conflict as a civil war, adopting a phrase that President Bush and many other news organizations have avoided.

Matt Lauer said on the “Today” show that “after careful consideration, NBC News has decided that a change in terminology is warranted, that the situation is Iraq with armed militarized factions fighting for their own political agendas can now be characterized as civil war.”

Matt Lauer said on the “Today” show that “after careful consideration, NBC News has decided that a change in terminology is warranted, that the situation is Iraq with armed militarized factions fighting for their own political agendas can now be characterized as civil war.”The network’s cable news outlet, MSNBC, drummed the point home repeatedly by using the phrase “Iraq: The Civil War” on the screen.

Towards the end of the article:

Lauer said NBC News consulted with many experts and carefully deliberated before making the call. He said there are two clearly defined groups, the Sunnis and the Shiites, using violence to gain political supremacy, and there’s a government in place that’s unable to protect people.

Gee Matt where did you find these experts, Arkansas Tech college for the mentally handicapped?
I find this amusing that there is even a debate on this issue.
Someone please explain to me how the fuck this can be a civil war when the combatants not to mention the financing for this conflict originate elsewhere. “warring groups must be from the same country”
Also I don’t know about you but I don’t consider some mentally ill, 78 virgin seeking chickenshit car bombers and bastards who hide behind women and children basically glorified rock throwers as soldiers.

War without soldiers, not that tis a new concept. But that’s just me.

NY Times on ‘Civil Rights Leader’ Al Sharpton

Monday, November 27th, 2006

I read this Newsbusters, post about the Shooting in NYC. The basics are this:

Witnesses told of chaos, screams and a barrage of gunfire near Club Kalua at 143-08 94th Avenue in Jamaica about 4:15 a.m. after Mr. Bell and his friends walked out and got into their car. Mr. Bell drove the car half a block, turned a corner and struck a black unmarked police minivan bearing several plainclothes officers.

Mr. Bell’s car then backed up onto a sidewalk, hit a storefront’s rolled-down protective gate and nearly struck an undercover officer before shooting forward and slamming into the police van again, the police said.

In response, five police officers fired at least 50 rounds at the men’s car, a silver Nissan Altima; the bullets ripped into other cars and slammed through an apartment window near the shooting scene on Liverpool Street near 94th Avenue.

Read the full article from New York Times reporter Robert McFadden covers the much-publicized shooting.

sharptoncaric.gifThis article was amusing to ole Snoop because of the bullshit elevation of Al Sharpton to a “civil right leader.” Just what the hell is that suppose to mean?
A (paid) racial propaganda pimp is the great savior of the Negro masses.
How convenient.
I sometimes wonder if other black folks are as embarrassed as I am sometimes that this stupid ass nigga is force fed to the masses thanks to the clueless media.
I just know there are rednecks out there that truly believe that Sharpton and Jessie are the unofficial President and Vice President of America’s darkies.
Where are those Russian Sushi chefs when you need them?

*****

“Hours before he was to be married, a man leaving his bachelor party at a strip club in Queens that was under police surveillance was shot and killed early yesterday in a hail of police bullets, witnesses and the police said. Two of his friends were wounded, one critically, they said.

“Many details of the shooting were not immediately clear, but relatives of the dead man, Sean Bell, 23, and community leaders, including the Rev. Al Sharpton, demanded an investigation into what some called an overreaction by officers that killed a man on his wedding day. “

After calling him a “community leader,” McFadden elevates the racially inflammatory Sharpton to a “civil rights leader.”

“The shootings reverberated with echoes of the 1999 police shooting of Amadou Diallo, an unarmed street vendor and Guinean immigrant who was killed in the vestibule of his Bronx apartment by four police officers who were later acquitted of criminal charges in his death. That killing raised questions of racial profiling and excessive force by the police.

“One police official denied any racial motivation in yesterday’s shooting and said that two of the officers involved were white, one Hispanic and two black. The victims were either black or Hispanic. None of the officers had been involved in previous shootings, Mr. Kelly said. He said several officers were injured, but none seriously.

Mr. Sharpton, a civil rights leader who has often protested police actions in high-profile and racially charged cases, challenged the police to explain what had happened.”

The Times has a long pattern of flattering Sharpton with labels while ignoring Sharpton’s racist past, including his spread of the Tawana Brawley hoax and calling Jews “diamond merchants” during the racial disturbance in Crown Heights. In Harlem in 1995, Sharpton cursed the white Jewish owner of Freddy’s Fashion Mart as a “white interloper” in a protest that escalated when a protester entered the store, shot four employees and set the building on fire, killing seven employees.

That’s the Times’ ideas of a “civil rights leader.”

Conservatives Launch Anti-Hillary Web Effort

Monday, November 27th, 2006

hill2.jpgBy Nathan Burchfiel - CNSNews.com - Link

(CNSNews.com) - A coalition of conservatives Monday launched a website aimed at derailing the presidential ambitions of Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y), even though the former First Lady has yet to formally announce her intention to run in 2008.

Calling itself “an organization of concerned citizens that is dedicated to spreading the truth about Hillary Clinton and her dangerous ideas,” the group Stop Her Now has set its sights on minimizing her chances of winning the Democratic nomination.

“We’re out to expose her as a confirmed left-wing radical and life-long liberal who long ago sold her soul to the divisive, radical and ultra-liberal special interest groups who see everyone as ‘victims’ and want to use your tax dollars and the power of the state to make things right,” the group says on its website.

Stop Her Now warns supporters that Clinton “is already beginning a massive makeover campaign where she will try to make her look ‘mainstream’ while hiding her extreme left-leaning agenda of government-run health insurance, sky high taxes, and giving felons the right to vote.”

The website will be a “clearinghouse” of anti-Hillary material, from news stories to editorials. Animators also are developing a once-weekly cartoon of “The Hillary Show,” a fake talk show in which “Hillary Clinton” interviews other liberals.

Dick Collins, the longtime Republican activist behind Stop Her Now, told Cybercast News Service that the site is a new twist on negative advertising.

“When you’re trying to run a negative campaign you can do it in a lot of different ways, through paid electronic media — TV or radio - and you can run negatives spots,” he said. “We choose not to do that.”

“We try to criticize Hillary Clinton’s record and her character and what she stands for in a way that might be different from conventional negative advertising and we want to do it with humor.”

Collins said the group’s goal was “to deny Hillary Clinton election to the presidency.”

He said the group would begin by reaching out to traditional conservatives and eventually hoped to reach out to independent voters and conservative Democrats.

Collins also sees his group as a potential target for Clinton to attack.

“She’s got to win the Democratic primary - beating up on the vast right wing conspiracy probably is good for her,” he said.

Stop Her Now is not alone in its focus on Sen. Clinton. A handful of websites have been formed to support a Clinton run for the presidency. While none of the pro-Clinton sites has official support from Clinton herself, they are optimistic that she is the best hope the Democrats have to take the White House in 2008.

Efforts to contact Sen. Clinton last week and again early Monday were unsuccessful.

Golden Beach official accused of racially insensitive remark

Monday, November 27th, 2006

aj.jpgBY CARLI TEPROFF AND EVAN S. BENN - Miami Herald

A complaint that its town manager used a slavery term to refer to her black assistant has prompted Golden Beach to launch an investigation.

Bonilyn Wilbanks-Free, 57, who is white, called Barbara Tarasenko ”a mammy” in front of other people last month, according to a memo sent from Councilwoman Camille Colella-Battista to other council members and the town attorney.

In an attempt to apologize, Wilbanks-Free then told her assistant she ”loved Aunt Jemima,” Tarasenko said.

‘As most everyone knows, a `Mammy’ (including Aunt Jemima) is a derogatory persona invented by whites to represent the black female servant,” Colella-Battista wrote. “The Mammy epitomizes servility with exceptionally natural cheerfulness. For many blacks, this sort of sentiment is as ridiculous and demeaning as any pickaninny.”

Colella-Battista brought the matter up at this week’s Town Council meeting, but it was immediately shelved.

”Because this could open the town up to legal implications, it is best that the matter go undiscussed until we know exactly what happened,” said Town Attorney Stephen Helfman.

Instead, he recommended hiring an outside firm to investigate the complaint. Although he expected to choose an investigator this week, there was no discussion how much that person would be paid or how long the investigation would take.

Tarasenko, 55, told The Miami Herald that she has been working in an ”intimidating environment,” since she began with the town four months ago. When she heard Wilbanks-Free’s comments, it “felt like someone kicked me in the stomach.”

She went home ”crushed and humiliated,” thinking of her grandmother who earned money for the family rearing white children.

At Tuesday night’s town council meeting, Wilbanks-Free read a statement acknowledging recent criticism against her but said she wanted to continue running the wealthy town of about 350 homes.

”I do wish to commend my staff that has been there for me and for their patient and supportive attitudes at times that I am sure were not the easiest for them,” said Wilbanks-Free, who will continue working at the town manager while the investigation takes place.

She declined to comment to The Miami Herald, saying she’d explain her side of the story to the outside investigator.

Town manager since 2003, Wilbanks-Free also has been filling in as town clerk for about nine months. Council members fired clerk town clerk Cathy Szabo in March after Wilbanks-Free complained about her.

Two weeks ago, council members chose a new clerk, but that person refused to take the job after Wilbanks-Free failed to remove the woman’s Social Security number from a council meeting agenda.

Before coming to Golden Beach, Wilbanks-Free had worked as the city manager of Clewiston. She has also worked as city manager of Oakland Park, interim finance director of Pembroke Pines, Virginia Gardens police chief and in the gang unit of the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Her comment to Tarasenko happened last month as the assistant was inserting a videotape into a VCR, according to Colella-Battista, who said Tarasenko cried when recounting the story to her.

‘Ms. Tarasenko, who is a black woman, told me that she tried to make light of it, but was shocked and terribly hurt being referred to as `a Mammy,’ ” the councilwoman wrote in her complaint.

Wilbanks-Free is the second South Florida public official to face criticism for racist remarks in recent weeks.

Last month, Ralph Arza stepped down from the state House of Representatives following a complaint that he had used racial epithets to describe Miami Dade Schools Superintendent Rudy Crew, who is black. Arza denied using the racially insensitive words about Crew, but later called the state legislator who filed the complaint against him ”my nigger” and ”bitch” in voice-mail messages.

Six imams got on a plane in Minneapolis. Accounts vary, but it seems that they were speaking in Arabic before boarding of their disgust with the U.S. war in Iraq and with American policy in general. One was heard to declare that he would do whatever was necessary to fulfill his obligations under the Koran. Another repeated, “Allah, Allah.” Once aboard, they aroused suspicion by requesting seat-belt extenders that they did not appear to require and took se
